It?s hard for me to say this because I really do like spectro but i feel the same way about yamalube. It lubricates fine if you warm it up right and your ratio is good, and your jetted right, and it burns pretty good. The thing is that it?s semi-synthetic. If it were full synthetic I would definitely be running it because it smells so good and then it would burn clean. All I can say is that if you just like to ride on the track then the semi-synthetic burning thing won?t be a problem. Have been using this oil on my 2 stroke engines last 20 years. Use it in my Stihl PRO weed eater and Husqvarna chain saw. The Stihl is 20 years old and the chain saw 15 years old. Use on farms for fence cleaning and cut hundreds of ton of wood, including hedge tree, a very hard wood. Run 100:1 for smoke free operation, no oily mess from exhaust muffler, dry like a 4 stroke. Dealer did not believe me so took the equipment to him for compression check last year and he recorded 180 psi. Just like a new engine. Only thing done to the equipment is change of air cleaner and spark plug. Starts and runs strong still, no evidence of engine wear when coming to performance and noise. I'm a model airplane enthusiast. I've been flying radio control airplanes for over 20yrs. We run gasoline 2-stroke engines that are extremely similar in size and operation to a chainsaw. The engines range in size from 20cc up to 200cc or larger. Most of the engines myself and other guys at the club are 20cc — 100cc engines. We operate these engines in the 7,000 — 10,000 RPM range. I've run more than 160 gallons of fuel through 3 different engines using Husqvarna XP+ oil. I pull spark plugs and muffler as part of regular maintenance, every 8–10hrs of operating time. They're all clean! No carbon build up in the ring grooves. No carbon on top of the pistons. No carbon in the exhaust ports. Clean transfer ports. Bearings are all smooth. Plugs are tan and look totally normal. Dry and tan but it's a light camel hair tan. No oil fouling anywhere. I'm in for another gallon. That will last me about a year.RC_Pilot

We have run this in our 2.5L Mercury race motor. It has excellent film strength and also runs very clean considering that the mix ratio is 30:1. It has been the best oil we have found. It is by no means cheap but is a good value for the quality if you need an oil for high stress applications. While we do not turn the high RPM of some of the bikes. We have 6 cylinders at 3.5 in bores turning 10 K at the end of the straights.Bruce

I have been using Amsoil two stroke oil , both Interseptor and Domimator for years in dirt bikes and snowmobiles. There are no better oils. Clean burning and zero piston scuffing. Interseptor is thinner and goes thru oil injection systems better then oem mailsBRUCE
