Terrible product. I put 15lb Spiderwire EZ Braid on a spinning rod that I keep on a cart when I go to the beach, but the wind at the beach would actually cause the line to abrade and break at the bail roller while the rod was just waiting in my cart. It happened three times and would only take about two hours in a stiff breeze, and no, the roller was not rough and it turns freely. The line isn't really braided either, it's more like twisted, and the fibers can be easily separated. I stripped it off the reel after just two outings.Rainmaker
I had never used braid, because quite frankly, I just did not want to learn to tie new knots. lol Well, fishing with my son, me with mono, he with braid, he was hooking three fish to my one. He was using 20 lb test Spiderwire EZ. So I brushed up on the Uni to Uni, and bought two different braids. One is the one everyone raves about, and the other was Spiderwire EZ, because I had seen it in action. Now after using both for 8 weeks nearly every day, (I am retired), I am using the Spiderwire EZ exclusively. The "yellow" braid gave me many more wind knots, and I actually lost plugs from wind knots that broke when making a cast. My equipment is good. Two Shimano 4000's on Shimano 8 foot rods, and two Shimano 8000's on 9 foot Tsunami rods. I spooled one of each with each line. By far, the spiderwire gave less problems. I have had zero wind knots, even when casting straight into a 15 knot wind. I have not had a knot failure. On the box it says to use the palomar knot, and I did. I did use Uni to uni for my florocarbon leaders. The spiderwire lays on the spool very tight, and does not try to uncoil before the bail is snapped shut. It casts superbly! Hook up is instant. When a fish strikes, it feels twice as big, because you feel the full power of the strike. Fish I was missing and fish I was losing are now coming to the beach or boat because they are solidly hooked. Bottom rigs in the surf….you will feel the slightest nibble. When reeling in, a four ounce sinker feels like a small fish on the line as it drags across the bottom. I love the solid hook up and sensitivity. The only think I can say that would be a "con" is that some of the moss green color rubbed off on my fingers when tying knots. And I will take that any day, to have that instant hook up with plugs. Another thing….a favorite lure used by fishermen on piers is notorious for fouling in the line. With spiderwire, I watch the lure and about 5 feet from the water, I manually flip the bail closed, and the zero stretch pulls the lure in line, keeping the line away from the hooks. Many reviews are written by people who have not used the product they review, but they write a review to try to convince you to use what they are using. I bought 300yds of this line in a value pack for just $15, figured that braid is braid, how bad could it get? I used this line yesterday around the jetties and found out afterward that the line was frayed badly in some areas and some strands separated from others. Amazing it even lasted 6 hours, I get that jetties aren't the easiest place to fish, but come on! I did also use the line once in a lake for catfish, it worked all right, but don't expect much if you fish around cover or rocks. I am a fair-skinned redhead with fine, very curly hair (pencil to sharpie-sized corkscrews) that tends to need a lot of moisture. I either use the Pattern "Intensive" Conditioner in very humid weather and a cocktail of the Intensive and Heavy Conditioners in less humid weather. Then I put this styling cream in my hair in the shower when it is sopping wet and then gently blot my hair and let it air dry. This is perfect for styling my hair. After washing I just towel dry and spread this through my hair, then make twists with my fingers so my curls don't come out wild. This holds my curls in place without making them crunchy, once they dry I just scrunch them a bit and they come out super soft. It's moisturizing, it has a variety of oils and butters in it and you can feel it when you touch your hair, it doesn't leave your hands greasy but you can feel the oil on them. I pair this with the Alaffia wave/curl gel. I add a small amount of the leave-in conditioner then add about two dimes worth of the gel (which is very creamy/liquidy) to very wet hair (that I have combed through first). Then I scrunch my (very wet) hair. The curls come together beautifully as they dry! Once dry, I tousle a bit to loosen them up and to get rid of any crunchy feeling from the gel. It goes away but the curls stay beautiful and natural looking. I really like this product! I've kinda struggled with managing my hair since growing it out. My hair is really coarse; I sweat easily and a lot during workouts which means I wash my hair fairly often. I’m completely beside myself that they reformulated the original Indian Hemp and Tamanu shampoo and conditioner to this formulation. I’ve been using haircare for 20 years and I’ve used so many that I can’t even recount. I’ve NEVER found one that actually worked in my hair until I had found that one. I have medium thick, wavy hair that tends to get oily very quickly. The old formula was just incredible: it didn’t dry my hair out, my curls laid perfectly and loved it, I didn’t get a 5’oclock oil slick – it really was perfection. I’m so disappointed in this new formula. No matter how well I wash my hair (placing the shampoo at my scalp evenly, massaging it in my scalp like crazy, double-shampooing, only placing conditioner on my ends, ,etc. etc.) I always have oily hair immediately afterwards. My hair is also much frizzier and my curls don’t lay nicely. Lastly and this is purely from a design perspective, the font of the “shampoo” and “co-wash” is so tiny that you can barely read it. When I was purchasing it in the store I though they only had conditioner because they both look like conditioner and the font is so hard to see/read. Mind you, I have 18/20 vision and don’t require eyewear. I like to shower with the nightlight on at night so I an avoid a super bright light and create more of an ambiance, but I really can’t read which is which. I have to hold the bottle up to the nightlight in the wall and squint. I just really don’t understand why they reformulated such a perfect product. This conditioner was surprisingly great! I say surprisingly because I thought I would hate it just by texture alone. I normally use a thicker conditioner and this out of the bottle was thinner than what I expected. I only put conditioner on the ends of my hair and I was incredibly happy at the results. I wash my hair once a week and always let it air dry. I washed my hair as normal and replaced my usual conditioner with this one. I attached a picture of my hair after it dried before I did anything else to it using my regular conditioner and then the following week when using the Olive Oil. You can see the difference in my hair. This one left my hair feeling oily. It definitely hydrates, but this product would be better on someone with curly hair. The conditioner was not terrible as it smells rather pleasant and it does hydrate. It just isn’t for my hair type. This has been a miracle in a bottle for me. For 30 years I have suffered from bad dandruff. I was forced to wash my hair at least once a week because of the flakes and odor that emits from the scalp after three days. I started using this a year ago when I got crochet plaits. My hair is also much frizzier and my curls don’t lay nicely. Lastly and this is purely from a design perspective, the font of the “shampoo” and “co-wash” is so tiny that you can barely read it. When I was purchasing it in the store I though they only had conditioner because they both look like conditioner and the font is so hard to see/read. Mind you, I have 18/20 vision and don’t require eyewear. I like to shower with the nightlight on at night so I an avoid a super bright light and create more of an ambiance, but I really can’t read which is which. I have to hold the bottle up to the nightlight in the wall and squint. I just really don’t understand why they reformulated such a perfect product. This conditioner was surprisingly great! I say surprisingly because I thought I would hate it just by texture alone. I normally use a thicker conditioner and this out of the bottle was thinner than what I expected. I only put conditioner on the ends of my hair and I was incredibly happy at the results. I wash my hair once a week and always let it air dry. I washed my hair as normal and replaced my usual conditioner with this one. I attached a picture of my hair after it dried before I did anything else to it using my regular conditioner and then the following week when using the Olive Oil. You can see the difference in my hair. This one left my hair feeling oily. It definitely hydrates, but this product would be better on someone with curly hair. The conditioner was not terrible as it smells rather pleasant and it does hydrate. It just isn’t for my hair type. This is actually amazing. I usually never use a mousse because I just don’t typically set my hair with it? I’m a lazy natural and only do like a twist out sometimes and I’ve always seen mousses set the hair super hard or used in other styles. I wanted to try this since I had it and I actually loved it! I am an avid foam user! I love foams for my hair – wash and go's and twist outs. However, I was a little bit skeptical on this one, but it definitely delivered! it's not moisturizing like some other foams I have used, but overall my hair feels strong and has kept the style. Changed my impression of mousse! My past experiences with mousses have been terrible. Usually they are sticky and leave your hair hard and dry. This is the opposite. As soon as it touched my hair, I felt the moisturizing. My hair took to it very well. It is soft, light, moisturized, shiny, and not dry. I applied to my natural curls. DEFINITELY get this spooled up on your spinning reels by a pro or with a spinning reel spooler kit. Otherwise you will only suffer your way through knot after endless knot. Even after getting it professionally spooled it’s smart to throw a 1/2oz sinker on the end and let it unspool in the water while you paddle your canoe/motor your boat a good hundred yards or so then slowly reel it in. This gets the wiry bends out of it and softens up the braid. If I don’t do this after every time I spoil my reels up, I get at least a few knots through the day. Great durability UNLESS there’s a knot in your line that’s in the water, then if you pull too hard it’ll snap. So always take care of the knots in your line. Also ADD SOME “REEL SNOT” TO YOUR SPOOL! It improves casting distance and lines up your line which helps reduce knots durasrically for sure and elongates your line’s lifetime. Event value for money spent. PS- I see a lot of younger fisherman putting the rainbow braids onto their reels for regular everyday fishing.. DO NOT DO THIS. Rainbow is for depth fishing and trolling. I got high vis yellow 8 lb test at the beginning of the 2021 season for my light spinning rod, and it was a complete waste of money. The line is extremely thin and more of a strip than a cylinder, and for whatever reason this made it tangle constantly. I was getting birds nests every 5-10 casts, and they were so gnarly the line would just break when I tried to untie them. I burned through the line so fast, that I had to respool after just 2 days on the water. Garbage. I think Spiderwire in 10-15 lb test is a much better option.Chris5

I was a long time ANTI Braid guy. This 20 # Power Pro Product was the first Braid I have purchased and use. I combined it with an eight foot G. Loomis rod and a Penn 4500 Slammer for Beach surf fishing in my Home town in North Carolina. WOW!! slick and strong. The casting distance is remarkable! I tie on a 4 foot section of Sako 25# leader with a great knot I found in the small pamphlet with the Power Pro Braid. I now can get out far enough to reach the fish. I’ve used this on my hair sometimes when I feel like my roots need a bit of help. It isn’t hard to apply and a little goes a long way, only problem is that you will have to shampoo twice and condition to get the product out. This is a good leave in cream for softening and managing hair. It is light and not very oily. I use it on my hair after I wash it and in between protective styling so that my hair doesn't get real dry and brittle. It softens the hair, strengthens and hydrates it. My hair drys out easily and this is good while it's still moist and as far as softening but it doesn't prevent the dry spells as my hair can go back to as if nothing was put on it in like 4 hours and no I do not re-apply this cream. I don't want build up. I give it 4 stars because although it doesn't last long it does keep hair manageable and if your hair is curly it will keep the form after its drys and have your curls soft.maika.r
When I first used this leave-in I didnt use it as directed because I was basing my judgement off of looks/texture of the product. My hair was wet then I appied the product and thats when I realized having your hair wet vs damp waters down the product. So with this leave-in please follow the instrustions when applying. Upon second use and application it didnt feel moisturizing to my strands. I really had to work the product into my hair. Yes, it has alot of oils in it, yes it made my curls pop a little, but it felt like Nivea lotion (when it first came out idk about now, I dont use that lotion) texture and all. If you know, you know. It doesnt feel as tho its sitting on my strands but it doesnt feel as tho it penatraded my strands. This is a good leave in cream for softening and managing hair. It is light and not very oily. I use it on my hair after I wash it and in between protective styling so that my hair doesn't get real dry and brittle. It softens the hair, strengthens and hydrates it. My hair drys out easily and this is good while it's still moist and as far as softening but it doesn't prevent the dry spells as my hair can go back to as if nothing was put on it in like 4 hours and no I do not re-apply this cream. I don't want build up. I give it 4 stars because although it doesn't last long it does keep hair manageable and if your hair is curly it will keep the form after its drys and have your curls soft.maika.r
When I first used this leave-in I didnt use it as directed because I was basing my judgement off of looks/texture of the product. My hair was wet then I appied the product and thats when I realized having your hair wet vs damp waters down the product. So with this leave-in please follow the instrustions when applying. Upon second use and application it didnt feel moisturizing to my strands. I really had to work the product into my hair. Yes, it has alot of oils in it, yes it made my curls pop a little, but it felt like Nivea lotion (when it first came out idk about now, I dont use that lotion) texture and all. If you know, you know. It doesnt feel as tho its sitting on my strands but it doesnt feel as tho it penatraded my strands. This is a great product and ive seen it work wonders for others especially for the price, but not for me.Andreana

Walmart, Thank you so much for this product 🙂 feels so nice on my hair and the Fragance is outstanding!! I'm sure it will help to improve the health of my hair. Just one complaint when you leave the protection tape over the top and on the sides, when removing it leaves the Jars real sticky on your hand, also the same with the dish detergent. Is there a solution the manager can come up with another idea of how to protect the products? I realize this is the reason why it's used so no pills during delivery, but it's really annoying when your using the products and the stickiness in on your hands. The price drew me in for sure. There is no way you can get a leave in for the amount of ounces for the price, so I had to try it out. Upon opening the jar and dipping my finger in, I was gravely disappointed because it is quite watery. Great smell, but very watery…I decided to use the product anyway as the last step of my L.O.C. method. Kind of laid on top of the hair because I had applied oil first. I would definitely suggest doing LCO instead with this product and apply the oil last since it is more of a liquid substance. The saving grace– my two strand twist stayed quite flat and elongated with this product. My hair is extremely curly, so finding a product that elongates my hair and keeps it soft is a plus. A great experimental product for your natural hair with a small price tag.Tam M
I have to granddaughters that have the most beautiful hair. But it is very different then any hair I have ever dealt with and I was not sure what to use on them for products. Their mom is Irish and French , Indian their dad is African. So the girl have very curly coarse hair. I love doing their hair but wanted to get a product that helped strengthen softening and detangling for them. With out harming their hair or buying ten different products. And this stuff works perfectly. Easy to work with smells great and the kids love it cause it doesnt take a long time to comb or brush. And its one product just one. Best stuff ever.Theresa

My boyfriend bought this cap for his waves. It worked amazing and was not pricey at all. He had very soft black hair. He biys a knew one every 4 months. It doesn't really smell like anything. In Robin, you find an eloquent voice of mourning that follows destruction of the sacred and recovery/reconciliation that is possible if we decide to learn from our plant relatives. You will likely cry and at the end, you will hope. I adore this book as a factual peek to ethnobotany as well as a fine work of literature and cannot recommend it highly enough. Elizabeth Gilbert called this 'a hymn of love to the world' – I now understand what she means. This book is a gentle yet purposeful reminder of a shared world and our role as guardian, kaitiaki, whatever word we use, the essence is about caring about and for ourselves and others, human and non human, and the importance of balance and reciprocity. It is a beautiful book, I would encourage anyone with a heart to read it.Rachel
