Best Antioxidant Serum For Sensitive Skin (2024 Update)

I normally use Avene Hydrating Serum but because I am so impressed with Avene A-Oxitive Water Cream, I thought I would try the serum. As the seasons change, so does my temperamental skin and this serum instantly settled my skin. It has a barely there feel and yet it does exactly what it says…relieves parched skin, hydrates and yes my skin looks rested and much brighter. There is no fragrance, or if there is then it is barely perceptible. It is worth the money and is perfect partner for the A-Oxitive Water Cream. Make up sits well. Often with hydrating products, make up tends to slide off or make up can 'ruffle' or looks patchy, which doesn't happen with A-Oxitive. Hydration lasts all day. With consistent use my complexion has improved. A little goes a long way. The only negative is the container – you can't see when you are about to run out of the serum. I'm 69 but I this product would suit any age group. My skin is sensitive but I've not had issues with this serum or the Water Cream. I've used a variety of serums in the past and this one is by far my favorite. It glides on a clean face/neck and absorbs into the skin. after using only a couple weeks, twice daily, I recognize results which are smoother skin texture and diminishment of fine lines around eyes, mouth and forehead. I put this serum around my eyes too, with no problems, which tells me it is a sensitive skin product. I refrained from writing a review of this product until I had completed my 1st purchase. Now I'm ready to purchase again. The serum goes on light, you need very little, as it goes a long way and dries quickly. I use it under moisturizer for days when I need extra protection and other times I wear it before bed. This serum works wonders on even sensitive, irritated skin. I was a bit worried as my skin condition has been all over the place for a few months now (probably mean hormones soon turning 50, face masks, super dry cold weather…the dream team at work). I used to have very beautiful skin and it has turned into some red, acne prone, dry and sensitive mess. So, hoping for some miracle help, risked a vitamin C serum but was a bit worried it would be too harsh. This serum feels a tiny bit tingly for a few seconds – not as in painful rest assured – and then is fully absorbed and your skin is ready for your moisturizer. The results are visible pretty fast and I will update if need be but it feels like this is going to stay for a while in my skincare routine. The quality of the packaging and the product itself are really good. as somebody who struggled with cystic acne and has been left with hyperpigmentation, this product saved my skin. i have dry, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. this product is not harsh at all and is unscented. i had been looking for a good vitamin c serum, and i found it! for people who say they broke out after one use, after trying a new product, your skin will most likely purge depending on what you are trying! i say give it a chance and if you aren’t seeing a difference after one month, stop using it! i was already seeing a difference around 5 days into using this twice a day. totally recommend 🙂yay

I bought this product about a month ago and I use it at least once a day, sometimes twice. I started noticing a difference in my skin within a week! For the record, I have terrible skin. It's red, blotchy, uneven, and on top of that I would get terrible breakouts. I chose to post some before and after pictures because even though my skin is still not perfect this product has helped A LOT! It helped reduce the redness of my breakouts within a few days of using it and I'm convinced that it has also helped prevent more breakouts. There are a lot of serums out there that don’t do much of anything. This one is different. I put it on when my face is feeling in special need of care — on top of my evening retinol treatment or in the morning if my skin is feeling in need of extra gentle care. And it does the job! It works beautifully with the EltaMD AM and PM moisturizers. In fact this is a product line where the products work better in combination with other products in the line. I was hesitant to try this serum because there were a few reviews about it causing breakouts. I was struggling with a few very dry, flaky patches on my face (my chin and on the side of my nose) along with small pimples on the end of my nose. I thought it was an age/hormone thing. I have tried several different vitamin C serums, and Obagi is really different from the other options out there. I have been using the Obagi 15% for about 6-7 months now. First, I can tell you the color is very, very pale yellow tinged. It also has a very distinct hint of orange scent. What makes it really different, is that I can actually feel it! I mix about 3 drops with 3-4 drops niacinamide serum and about 4 drops hyaluronic acid and squalane morning and night. After applying to clean skin, I notice a very light tingling sensation a few minutes later – nothing dramatic, just a very faint feel. But – that tells me it is doing it's job! My skin tone is very even and fresh looking, and I get compliments all the time. My friends have all raided my bathroom closet to see what I use, and they have all started the same routine!Felecia R

This is by far the best Vitamin C product I've ever used. My dull skin has become so radiant, bright, and so healthy looking. I use this every day before moisturizer and after cleansing. Nice fresh scent and the texture and consistency is very nice. It dries down beautifully on the skin with no residue or oily feeling. In just 1 week my skin looks and feels totally revitalized, soft, smooth, and with a healthy glow perfect for the warmer months. I can't wait to see what it looks like in a month! I tried the Herbivore Nova Brightening Serum that I was gifted by Herbivore, in exchange for my honest review. First off, the packaging and color of this serum is so bright and fun! Nova Brightening Serum is made with a 15% Vitamin C & Tumeric blend, so it's perfect for those with dark spots, uneven skin tone or just want to help combat the signs of aging! The serum is really lightweight and seems to just melt right into your skin. I've found that 1-1 1/2 pumps is a good amount and you should definitely start with 1 pump until you see how much works for you. The scent is very light and smells natural, but also pleasant. It leaves my skin looking hydrated and glowing! I have also noticed my dark spots starting to lighten and my skin's texture looks more even with each use. I bought this product when I went to visit Sephora with a friend, and this was recommended to me by one of the employees there to fix my reddened cheeks and complexion (I wanted something to brighten/whiten me out evenly). I hesitated on buying it since it was more expensive than products I usually try out, but I find myself liking how it feels after some weeks on it. It definitely has some smell at first (tumeric) and it's important to clean the place where it's pumped out with a finger (may leave some residue), but it absorbs near instantly into the skin and doesn't feel tacky, gooey, or oily like some serums I tried. For something which seems to have a sort of thicker consistency and its vibrant color, it really is a product which just instantly blends and absorbs into the skin and I really like it. And idk if it's me, but I feel my face is kind of prettier, and I definitely have less rosier/reddened cheeks. Main complaint is that it's really, really expensive, or at least more expensive than what I would've liked my serums to be since I'm not that rich oof. I want to try out more products during my duration here in U.S., so I probably won't be repurchasing this any soon. It's more due to me wanting to try out more brands though. I got a pretty generously sized sample of this in an order a few weeks ago, and after finishing it I decided to buy the full size. For reference, I have very fair, oily, somewhat sensitive, acne-prone skin with mild rosacea. First, let me address the scent. Yes, it smells like turmeric because it contains turmeric (duh). I knew what I was getting so I wasn’t bothered by the smell. I also think the scent is pretty mild and it doesn’t linger. If you don’t like the smell of turmeric or have never smelled it before, this might not be for you. Personally, I was interested in this product largely because of the included turmeric. I struggle with skin redness and the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric can help with that. It’s also supposedly good for acne. So far, I really like this serum. I’ve been using it for the past couple of weeks as part of my morning skincare routine. It’s moisturizing and spreads over the skin easily. It’s a gentle formula that hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts. It doesn’t make me greasy, but I find it gives me a really healthy glow upon application. I have a bad habit of picking at pimples and my acne marks take forever to fade, but I do feel like this is helping speed up that process. I think over a longer time period I’ll be able see the effects more dramatically and form a more comprehensive opinion on this product’s overall effectiveness, but I just wanted to write a review with my experience thus far (especially because there are quite a few negative reviews based on the scent).rachellemarie

So, I have had a sneaking suspicion that I may be in the 1% of people that have a sensitivity to niacinamide, and unfortunately this whole line proved my theory right. I used the entire line for a few weeks, and everything felt wonderful, but I found my skin getting red, rough and sensitive the longer I used them. I had to discontinue use, but I think if you are in the majority of the population this would be an excellent daytime brightening serum. I’ve purchased this product 3 times and have been happy with it. I’m 39 with some fine lines. I wouldn’t call my skin oily exactly, but I do often have trouble with new face products making me breakout. I chose this product as it was supposed to be good for acne prone skin, and even help keep pimples away. On this front it has been great. No breakouts. It also has several face brightening ingredients I was looking for in a daily serum, at a modest price point. It has a nice consistency. It does not leave my skin sticky at all; it does not “pill” with my other face products as others have mentioned. I usually use this and then Olay Daily Moisturizer Sensitive (this also does not cause breakouts). I often use a little tinted BB cream as well. If I’m dressing up, I will use a face primer before the BB cream. I haven’t noticed that my skin is particularly radiant, but I also haven’t felt it was dull.Kasey

At first I was using this product only at night but realized the directions said to apply during the day. After doing this and wearing my Aveeno spf moisturizer I’ve been really enjoying! I put this on immediately after washing my face and wait about a minute for it to soak into my skin. Feels slightly tacky at first but that disappears. This is a great alternative to the skinceuticals CE ferulic if you're on a little more of a budget. Both companies put so much research into their products which is what I love. This has a smooth application and dries quick. I have consistently used vitamin C for almost 2 years now. Primarily it's been with the CE ferulic but I was open to trying something else this time and this has been great. My skin has remained looking bright, virtually no changes at all with the switch. I'm going to buy another just to make sure it's working for my face and then i'll decide which brand i'm going to stick with. But I do overall recommend this product. I love all the items from Biossance and have at least 7 of their products. Unfortunately this one is very reactive to my skin (and I had to conduct an elimination test with every single product to identify the culprit). This ended up being the one on numerous occasions. My face swelled up red and blotchy as an allergic reaction. I ended up getting contact dermatitis from this product and had to take medication as a result to control the swelling/inflammation. I trialled it on 3 separate occasions, all independently of any other product (to ensure this was indeed the irritant) and very small amounts. I wish I could recommend this item because I love so many of their other items but this on repeat was highly reactive for me. I would tread carefully with this product just to be sure and definitely trial on a small area (not the face) first. This is to be aware, not to prevent anyone from this item as it did not work for me.Lorraine

I love this serum so much. I have dry, but being in my 40s, also aging skin and I use this nearly every day after I shower or wash my face. I use it along with their squalane oils (regular or rose oil). I use the oils at the end of my shower while my skin is still wet, and then use the vitamin c dark spot serum once I'm out along with their eye cream. This serum has definitely lightened those nasty dark/sun/aging spots I've received from too much sun and sadly tanning bed exposure. Trying to keep my skin hydrated and fight the fine lines and the age spots, while still letting my skin breathe is hard, but I've found my best routines with Biossance's products; you just need to find which serums, creams, and oils work for your skin type, but I don't think you will go wrong in any routine by throwing this one in the mix. It's fabulous. I always keep a backup just in case I run out, not to mention this is also my Go-to gift for my mother who is in her 70s. It has lightened her dark spots on her face and even on her hands. She's thrilled about it. I couldn't recommend this one enough. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from @influenster @biossance. I have been using the Biosance Squaian dark spot serum with 10% Vitamin C for two weeks. I have not noticed a change, however I do not l believe two weeks is enough time to correct my complexion. I like that this serum is gentle on my skin, considering that it has 10% Vitamin C which is higher for a serum. My skin feels clearer when compared to the other serums I have used and the price is also very reasonable. I have paid over $100 for serums I’ve purchased from the spa which also have 10% Vitamin C. I like that this brand can be purchased at Sephora, most serums with 10% vitamin C I’ve purchased from a spa. I’m taking photos periodically to see if I notice a difference. I also like that this product is made with plant derived squalane. Apparently squalane, mimics your skin’s natural oils, making it an emollient and it’s a natural antiox, which is why I believe this product is gentle and not drying me out. I have used other dark spot correcting serums with 10% vitamin C and I’ve had to apply on more moisturizer in order to prevent my skin from drying out, compared to Biossance. Another ingredient this product includes is white shiitake extract which works immediately and overtime. It’s safe for all skin types and dermatologist tested, as I mentioned, it’s very gentle on my skin so I would have to agree. I will purchase this product because of the added ingredient plant derived squalane and the price. As mentioned i have only been using the product for two weeks which is not enough to see a difference in my opinion, however it also works to prevent new dark spots from forming and another reason I would purchase it.essentjewels

I was really unsure about this product when I pumped it the first time because it feels like a very gooey and sticky liquid in your palm. Like a very thick oil. However it GLIDES on your skin and provides the PERFECT base for moisturizer and sunscreen, and then doesnt budge the whole day. It's certainly improving my skin, it looks less tired and a lot brighter and perkier, and I love that. No sensitivity or redness with this one, just pure hydration and skin protecting realness. -1 star because I wear glasses and this product is the DEVIL to get off of the lenses and at the end of the day they are constantly filthy with no hope of redemption. Been using this product for 3 months and my skin feels like heaven on application and after. My skin appears brighter, bouncier and radiant looking. Would not recommend if you're acne prone. It made me break out in tiny bumps all over my face. I'm suspecting it's the silicones, which I researched thoroughly before purchasing. I don't know who is paying people to say that silicones don't cause breakouts (do yourself a google search on them), the logic used is so silly to me. It's like saying that someone whose fallen through the ice of a pond doesn't drown because they're trapped beneath the ice, they drown because of the water. While it may be technically true, it ignores the fact that they drowned because the ice was trapping them beneath the surface, and in the absence of ice would have been able to surface for air. I only used this 4 times and typically have flawless skin (my hormonal acne managed by oral medication). I'll never use silicones again.Kels

This serum totally surprised me. I nervously took a plunge to buy this as my skin previously reacted very badly to a vit C serum from another brand. So I started looking into something suitable for sensitive skin. Even then I was still nervous about trying any vit c due to reaction that took me 3 weeks to heal! This serum is a-ma-zing! My skin absolutely loved it from a first contact with the skin! I couldn’t believe it. If you are new to vit c this is a brilliant introduction. Once I built up tolerance to a daily use(start slowly if you aren’t sure) my skin looked bright, glowing and even my hormonal breakouts started to vanish! I highly highly recommend it. So maybe I am weird, but the CE Ferulic product broke me out. Nevertheless, I kept looking longingly at Vitamin C products, because I know they really help improve skin quality and when you reach your 50s, you want to make sure you're doing everything you can to help your skin. So I was pumped to see this product, which has a lesser concentration of Vitamin C and is less triggering for sensitive skin types. Upon first application, I immediately noticed a stinging sensation, but I've been rotating through various products on a daily basis and so this product only gets applied every 4 days. I think I've applied this product 3 times now, and while it doesn't sting, it does itch slightly for about 30 minutes following application. Still mulling it over. Omg, I did not expect to love this so much. This is the first Vitamin C product I have ever tried and I’m never trying any other brand! Having sensitive & dry skin with many contact dermatitis allergies makes it difficult for me to find products that don’t irritate my skin. Originally I was looking to order the CE Ferulic, but while exploring the website I stumbled across the Serum 10 AOX+. When I read it was made for first timers & those with sensitive skin I knew this was the one for me. Despite my initial fears of irritation, my skin has been LOVING this. I am very impressed with the ingredients. if you need to tone down some of the shine from other products, the poly silicone 11 in this will do that. This serum is great for those hot days when a heavier product can feel too greasy. Give it time to absorb before applying makeup. I use the regular Paula's Choice antioxidant in winter; it's heaver and feels more moisturizing. Again, I give it 3-4 minutes to fully absorb into skin.Pacer

This serum has been a staple in my skincare routine for 8 years now! It’s lightweight and after long term use, I’ve noticed it’s made my skin more supple, clear, and radiant. It layers well under moisturizers and makeup and is gentle enough for daily use. The price is very good for how long the new pump packaging lasts. Only downside is that it feels like a lot of plastic and isn’t recyclable. This is the one product from PC that I am auto subscribed for and receive at a discount every 3 months! It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and has never caused breakouts. The product packaging is simply luxurious. The bottle is glass and feels weighted like a perfume bottle.  While applying this product you’ll definitely feel fancy and luxurious. However, my problem with this product is the ingredients. I believe that Shiseido had a great vision while creating this product and it could have been a great product if they simply had not included a few ingredients. This product was not formulated for people who have dry or sensitive skin. If you look at the ingredients, alcohol is listed as the second ingredient after water. When you apply this product, the serum is initially smooth and hydrating. However, after wearing it for 20 minutes your skin will feel dehydrated because of the alcohol so overtime this product will not really leave your skin hydrated. The skin tightening effect that this product claims might even be due to the drying effects of alcohol. The product has a beautiful fragrance but the issue is that it has added fragrance at all. If you look at the ingredients list, fragrance is actually higher on the list than any of the good ingredients that you want for your skin.  This product will not work for people who have extremely dry or sensitive skin such as myself. Overall, I feel that this could have been a great product and I hope that Shiseido considers re-formulating the serum to not include alcohol or fragrance.lamia.a

I couldn’t wait to try this Ultimune Power Infusing Serum from Shisheido. First off, let’s talk about the packaging: the serum comes in a beautiful luxurious glass bottle. The nice thing is that this is refillable, you just hang onto the pump and cap, although the refills are still expensive, but it still cuts down on environmental waste. The serum itself has a slightly milky, runny gel texture to it, but it blends easily into my skin and absorbs quickly. It also has a nice perfume (citrus? floral?) scent, that’s not overpowering and doesn’t really linger. The one thing I do want to point out is that, as alcohol is unfortunately one of the main ingredients, I could smell it as I was applying – just a faint smell. Therefore I was not surprised that it seemed to be a little drying and tightened my skin. Again, this is a serum, not a moisturizer, so I wouldn’t expect that this would be super hydrating,and it is a very lightweight serum that plays well with my moisturizer. I haven’t noticed a profound difference as far as diminished wrinkles, but my complexion is more radiant and firm. I was excited when I first received this serum in my mailbox. I had never before tried any Shiseido products before and was ready! Since this was a serum, I decided to replace my current serum in my skincare routine with this one to see its full effect! I have been using it for about three weeks to date now. First impressions was packaging and the information presented about the product. The packaging was very pretty and looked very high end. It appears to be a glass bottle with sort of a reddish pink ombre look and a large plastic cap that is reflective and metallic. The product dispenses from a pump once the cap is taken off and the bottle fits nicely in the hands. The product itself is said to strengthen skin and resist damage. According to their research with use of this serum, skin is 28% stronger in just one week of consistent use of this serum. The serum is said to strengthen the skin's protective barrier while minimizing fine lines and wrinkles, features Reishi Mushroom and Iris Extract which are potent antioxidants that shield skin against that oxidative effects of stress, pollution, and urban life, and also hydrates skin intensely. Overall, first impressions were pretty good! The consistency of the product itself was like a thinner gel. Slightly runny and not very thick. It was an opaque white/clear color. And it smelled slightly floral and a bit perfumey, so there was definitely a fragrance to it. It had a nice slip to the skin and moved around the face nice. I used about 2-3 pumps of serum for my entire face daily. day and night in my routine. It did feel nice and very moisturizing on my skin, but it was a little tacky compared to my other serum. I felt that it took a bit longer to set into my skin than other serums I have used. It wasn't necessarily overly greasy or oily but it just took a while to sink into my skin, in my opinion. I also had to play around with my a moisturizer to pair with this. For that reason – as well as the scent – I decided to take off one star. Overall, I think it is a good serum. I do think it is intensely moisturizing and feels nice on the skin. I don't think I can really measure their claims of my skin being "stronger", so I can't really speak to that, but my skin did look smoother, brighter, and more moisturized. I would honestly buy a sample size if you wanted to try this since it is expensive. I think this serum would very much depend on your skin type since the tackiness of it and intensely moisturizing aspect of it. I noticed it didn't pair well with certain moisturizers because it would be a bit too much, especially in summer, so it may be too oily for certain skin types. I've tried a few Vitamin C serums and this has been one of my favorites. I've used this for approximately one month and have noticed a significant difference in the appearance of my acne scars. When I started this I had two inflammatory pimples on my face which left dark scars ,despite me not picking at them at all. I usually used this in the mornings along with sunscreen, which is highly recommended. From time to time I would use it in my night routine. My scars are almost completely gone. I know this is working because prior to me ever incorporating Vit C into my routine, my acne scars took forever to fade out. I do agree with others that it has a strange smell. To me it smells like the skin of a fruit; it's pretty tolerable in my opinion and it doesn't linger. I also agree with others that the pump needs work. Site recommends 2-3 pumps but I pump it at least 5 times because it doesn't always pump out enough serum. Overall, it's a great product and I would buy it again.Eileen

Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum is soo amazing. I felt like I noticed a radiance from within in days. Even when I would have break outs I was way more confident in my skin because it still looked healthier and vibrant thanks to this product! I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful healthy glow and the feeling of happy healthy skin. That being said, my only issue is the packaging had some leaking issues. I usually store my skincare laying down so I realized that it leaked when it was horizontal. However after that I stored it vertically and it had no issue. It also did not cause it to oxidize, but I can’t help but feel like I may have lost out on product due to leaking. I’ve seen other people complain about this issue as well, while other people have no problem, so I’m hoping they will be able to figure it out since it is only a packaging issue rather than a problem with the product itself. Let me start by saying that I have used many C and E ferulic serums. All the ones I have used had an oil base (the castor oil PEG comes to mind). Anyway that doesn’t work with my skin so I tried the really expensive version with silymarin only to find that it had Laureth-23 or 7 in it, which is a pore clogger for most of us and was very disappointing. Enter in Timeless… a brand i hadn’t heard of but once I heard about it I realized it was everywhere! People really like this stuff! So I decided to try is in the smallest size available because it is so reasonably priced and had no known pore cloggers in it. I have been using it for week and can honestly say my skin looks radiant! I am 40 with oily, acne prone skin and this stuff is so light! It absorbs immediately and has no funky smell, no oily residue, no stinging burning sensation and absolutely no irritation and the price is incredible! I have to say the reviews surprised me. I've been using this serum with my routine for 3 weeks now and can only say good things. My skin is very dry and dehydrated. I'm in my 40s with some old sun damage and fine lines and my goal was to help heal my pregnancy melasma and help texture and lines. I use a korean essense first, followed by this niacinamide serum, vitamin c serum, a moisturizing ceramide toner and a moisturizing sunscreen every day and use a peptide-cerimide mousurizer unstead of sunscreen at night. The only thing I changed 3 weeks ago was switching out my old hyaluronic acid serum for this product. My skin is glowing. Im noticing a slow decrease in the extra texture and "patchiness" and keep getting complimented by friends who see it too. I saw a change after my 2nd time.

I layer a lot of products, although I mist between layers to help it soak in. Im my case I need all that moisture, and for my dry middle aged skin this has been great. Reading the reviews though I wont be trying it on my boyfriend who has rosacea… Eek!Tara Klang

I too have fallen for the Niacinamide fad that had happened on Insta and have tried my share of different Niacinamide serums. The @naturium serum is by far my favorite stand alone Niacinamide product. It checks off everything in the box, high percentage, formulated with Zinc, works well with layering. It shows a visible difference in my skin when used consistently. The other ingredients include, Propanediol, Glycerin, Zinc PCA, Vitamin E, by and Sodium Hyaluronate. Zinc is supposedly an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regulates oil. It also shows to protect and aid in wound healing and regeneration. This is why Zinc Oxide is so often found in high performing sunscreens, as it can reflect the sun and it creates a barrier between the skin and any damaging UV rays. The serum feels hydrating, non-sticky, and has very light creamy/gel texture. The serum absorbs into the skin nicely and helps reduce some of my dark spots and provides a nice glow. I received Ursa Major products as a birthday present. I’ve never been good at keeping a regular skin care routine but decided to give it a try. Wow, the difference is significant! I use the face wash, vitamin C serum, eye cream, golden recovery cream, and sun protection. I can’t tell you which product does what because I started using them all at once, but I can tell you that my skin has never looked better. The brighten up vitamin C serum is an excellent product! My review today has to do with the new bottle. I liked the old bottle better. The new bottle overall seems bigger and the clear cap is loose so if you pick it up by that cap the bottle will fall out. The spout where the cream comes out is much flatter than the old one, so it drips all down the front and is very messy. I love this company and I love this product. I am LOVING this face wash. Ive seen real results and improvements since switching to this from my old fav. This was my first time going up to this price bracket for a cleanser and I was a bit hesitant, but good skin is the foundation for anything else you put into it and in this case I can definitely say its worth the extra expense. My skin feels tighter without being tight or uncomfortable and more elastic, fine lines and pores both definitely reduced in short, my skin just feels younger. I use the cleanser both on its own and, a couple of times a week, with a Clarisonic cleansing brush. I really was genuinely surprised by what a difference this has made to my skin, as well as how little product you need to use a pea sized amount is plenty for the whole faceneckdcolletage area, so the bottle will last a good long time.My only recommendation is not to leave it in the shower, because this style of top with the recess can collect water, which enters into the bottle and both dilutes the product and leads to it spoiling, which is an issue Ive had with other face washes with the same style of pump for a while I was mystified by a Clinique face wash which seemed to last so much longer than it should however, I put the bottle on its side while I shower so water wont fall into it and then take it out when Im done and in this way there are no issues and the product stays perfect.Anonymous

I am extremely satisfied with Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash. I purchased this product to replace a product in my normal skin care regimenDermalogica Skin Resurfacing Cleanser. I received an Elemis sample from a family member as a recommendation and fell in love with it. I had some scaring around corners of my mouth and one deeper scar above my eyebrow and several stretch marks on my breasts. I also havehad significant sunage spots on both my face and chest. With my regimen that included the Dermalogica, I was not seeing any results. However, since using the Elemis, I have noticed dramatic reduction in the appearance of the scars and stretch marks, my chest and face appear smooth, firm, toned, and a more all over even skin tone, appearance, texture and pigment. I've been using this serum for 10 days now, and it's the best part of my skin care routine. I'm mixed race with uneven skin tone, blemish prone and at times my skin can be quite dry… this serum has been a saviour! It feels so luxurious when applying. Because it's multi-talented, I've found that I'm no longer using oils and essences at the moment, meaning that my skin care routine now takes a fraction of the time. I use the dynamic resurfacing face wash, following by the lavender or ginsing toner depending in what my skin needs. Then I use the serum, using 2 or 3 pumps. It blends in to skin so beautifully, revealing flawless skin and a healthy glow. I follow this with the morning matrix or pro collagen marine cream. Lastly, I use an SPF. I'm no longer wearing foundation as I'm finally proud of the skin that I'm in! Thank you Elemis for this wonder product, and for giving me the confidence to be make up free! When I got this I was already using original Lancôme Advanced Génifique for sometime and very happy with the product so when I got the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive since it's getting drier & colder day by day i was excited to try it! First I had to twist the cap and mix the blueish serum in the bottle it was pretty cool&interesting, the perfume of it did feel slightly strong but scent didnt stay that long so it was ok with me. I used 3 drops on the first day and it was little sticky after it's been absorbed so the next day used 2drops and it was very moisturizing and very soft after it's been absorbed. When I started trying this product I didn't have any skin problems just dryness and bit of rough skin because of the wind&colder weather after using it for more than 3weeks my skin is less dry and no irritation occured and the roughness is pretty much gone but I did notice 2 breakouts on my face on the 2nd day but on the 3rd day of use they were gone so i guess my skin needed some adjustment to do with new Génifique Sensitive. But i have no breakouts or irritations with the original Génifique. So finally if I compare the 2 products I would go back to the original Génifique for every day use and use Génifique Sensitive for winter season or when I need extra moisturizing effect when my skin feels tired or dry since it does make my skin extra moisturizing with Génifique Sensitive. And with the scent I don't recommend if you are sensitive with perfume. \n\nJuliet Bom K.

This special serum has pro-biotics in it which explains why Lancome have created it as a dual serum which gets mixed together by the buyer just before they use it for the first time. By keeping the serums separate before use, the probiotics are kept as fresh as possible for the user. It was easy to mix the two serums together and though I only had a deluxe sample of this, even the sample was well-designed and super simple to mix up together. I want to purchase the full size of this now that I've been using this deluxe sample!\n\nThis serum has a fresh and floral fragrance to it which I was surprised about at first because it's targetted at sensitive skin but then I discovered that this fragrance gives the skin a refreshing feel so it's not a heavy fragrance that keeps lingering on – it does tend to dissipate after a couple of minutes after application. Living in Arizona in the summer has its challenges when you think about your skincare regimen. This product simply does not miss for me and my minimal routine. After cleansing in the morning, I mix three drops of this with my moisturizer and I love how it makes my skin look and feel. I usually don't use it by itself, but I have used it as a daily moisturizer while on vacation and low on quart bag space! I have a very minimal makeup routine (skin tint, not traditional liquid or powder foundation) but this has always been a great base underneath. My skin type tends to be oily. I have stressors throughout my day that increases the amount of oil I produce. This left my skin breaking out, and increased the number of blackheads around my nose. Because of this, I was initially nervous about adding a serum to my face daily. I would only put on sunscreen after a face wash and then used a moisturizer at night. Since using this product, I believe this serum actually decreased the oil on my face throughout the day.
