Best Argan Oil Hair Products (2023 Update)

Now I have very long, semi thick hair, that's very coarse. I use shampoo and conditioner regularly but sometimes that's not enough to give me the sleek shine I like, or if I need help defining my waves during a blowout, the OGX Morrigan and Argan oil is wjat I turn to. It's got a very pleased scent to it, and you need only about a Nickle sized amount distributed through the hair to get the desired results. I bought a little bottle maybe about a year ago for roughly $7 and it is still more than halfway full with constant use. I love the shine it gives my hair and I love how effective it is. And the smell is so fragrant and nice! It makes me feel like I've just come out of a spa day. You can find this at most retailers and like I mentioned it's normally under $10. I would say it's a great investment for split ends and frizzy hair!emily.p

This product is my now go to after I hop out of the shower. Using it on damp hair before a blow dry leaves my hair shiny and smooth all day. It’s given back my dull hair its shine. My hair is bleached so it always feels dry and damaged, even after styling with other heat protectant sprays, but this hair oil has helped maintain my frizz even days after use. I have been using this after the shower for around 4 weeks and am loving it. I’ve gotten a few close friends using it too now as it’s a cheap alternative to the hair oils from the hair care shops. I use a bit over a 50 cent sized amount and have barely made a dint into the product. The ogx argan oil also has a lovely smell that meshes well with my shampoo and conditioner. I can also extend the period of time between washes which is so great as it takes me so long to wash and style my hair. I usually have to wash my hair every three days as it will start getting dry and gets knotty very easily. I can now get around a week before my hair needs a wash. My hair also has been more durable and I have been experiencing way less breakage as well as loosing less hair throughout the day. It’s also become way more easy to brush my hair in the mornings and I’m experiencing much less tangles, I believe this is because my hair is more nourished and healthy so its getting tangled less then with my dry hair with no product. The only negative thing I have noticed is if my hair isn’t damp enough or if i try and use it after straightening my hair it makes my hair look oily and weighed down, this is more user error then a problem with the oil itself. With the negatives aside I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with bleached hair or thicker hair. This oil claims to be a penetrating oil and I whole heartland agree, I have used many oils on the market and most just leave a layer if oil on top (yes even when I apply with towel dried hair) and some are not at all affordable. I have never tried an oil that makes such a difference on my hair and leaves barely any residue, I use a generous amount and my hair still sucks all the oil up. My hair thrives with oil because of how much heat and bleach I use on it, its given my hair so much shine and smoothness back into it. I am extremely happy with how my hair has turned out. Even after bleaching it Last week, I feel like I was able to go blonder then usually as I have been taking care of it and nurturing it with a few new ogx products. I just received it and I love it already! It made my hair really soft, smooth and shiny! Some people complain this is full of chemicals (silicones) that are bad for the hair. The hair is dead and if you want it smooth and shiny, you need to condition it with things like emollients, and some also act as occlusives to seal everything in (such as silicones and argan oil) and they also act as a protective barrier against things like humidity (bye bye frizzy hair). The only problem with silicones is that some are hard to get out the hair, but if you use an appropriate shampoo once in a while (one with sulfates works very well), you will prevent too much build up from happening. But don’t be scared by it, because it’s that build up that protects you hair and makes it look amazing. It won’t damage your hair in the long term, just make sure to use a silicon free shampoo that clarifies the hair once in a while. So yeah, I loved this product. The only downside is the smell. A lot of people love it and I agree that it’s not bad, it’s very fresh and salon-y. But I don’t like my hair smelling hair products too much. It’s not very strong however, so I’m okay about it. Also, don’t use too much, you will make your hair look greasy. I use 2 pea sized amount on each half, but if you have fine hair, use a lot less.silvia.p

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. Fun little tidbit: my moms hair is down past the back of her knees and she’s also around 5’5. That’s a lot of long beautiful hair! her hair has always been long and longer than that my whole life so she’s certainly going to appreciate this oil! This oil has saved my dead ends, it makes my hair so soft, smell so good and has a beautiful shine. It's really helped revive my damaged hair. Growing up I was always taught to use drug store shampoo conditioner, I had never used anything different or tried any hair oils or masks and where I live we have hard water and it's really taken a toll on my hair over the years. So I started using better shampoo, hair oils, masks treatments and got a shower filter and it's really helped so much. I've tried a couple oils and since using this one I've really noticed a difference. I also have oilyish hair and I thought hair oils would weigh down my hair and make it feel greasy and some that I've tried have but this one doesn't and you don't need much of it. I have super straight, super fine, super blonde, color treated hair. Most of my life I’ve had very short cuts (pixies and the like) because I never learned how to manage long hair – I was also a teen in the 90s when V05 hot oil was about as good as hair care products got. For my hair texture that just wasn’t ok because it weighed me down and made me look like an utter greasy mess. The past few years I’ve been growing it out just to see how it goes in the modern era with modern hair care products (I feel like some time-traveling Victorian) and was borderline ready to chop it because I still couldn’t figure out how to not make it look like a crazy wild mane of flyaways and snarlballs right about when Covid hit. So I had to suck it up and figure something out. I gave this a try after reading reviews and I’m SO glad I did. My hair looks shiny and glossy and full without even a hint of grease and all of the flyaways are tamed. It’s like photoshop for your hair. And oh MY is it soft! There’s no gooey, sticky residue (I even like how moisturizing it is on my hands afterwards), and I use a pump all over when wet, and another half pump on my ends when dry. Also, I have to mention the scent. I have a hard time with heavy smells, especially on my head since I work out daily which means scents get hyper-activated with sweat. I was worried that the scent would be too much, but it’s light and really clean. I used to use Lush R&B on my ends during the winter which I loved the smell of (it’s too heavy to use year round) but I actually like the smell of this even better. It’s lighter and fresher, and dare I say invigorating? Anyway. Yeah. I still can’t braid or curl or style my hair (I wish this did that for me too!) but at least I look like less of a basketcase and I can get a brush through it now!LizHal

I bought this because a hair oil I used for years stopped being sold, and I used to love Moroccan oil in high school. I have very long hair (it's at the small of my back and I'm 5'7"). It's kind of a light-brown/dark-blonde with a hint of red, moderately dense, but the individual hairs are mostly fine and prone to both dry ends and oily mid-lengths. I always use a curl cream and a hair oil to bring out my waves and keep it soft. My last oil treatment had water as the first ingredient and my hair absolutely loved it. What I liked: A little goes a very long way. Tipping the bottle quickly to coat my fingertip was enough for my wet hair (plus a bit less on the ends when dry). It smells amazing, definitely lived up to my memory of that dreamy Moroccan oil smell. As soon as I applied it, my hair felt wonderfully silky and easy to run my fingers through. After I let it air dry as usual, my mid-lengths were very soft, and even the dead ends felt a little nicer to touch (I really needed a haircut when I tried it). The shine is absolutely incredible! It was glossy all the way to the ends, and didn't make my mid-lengths stringy/oily looking (I use Sebastian dark oil now, and need to be a lot more careful with how much I apply or it gets stringy). I got so many compliments on how shiny my hair was the next day. What I didn't like: The first use was amazing, but after i used it for a couple weeks my hair started to feel heavy and hung straighter. It was still shiny, but looked less full and the ends were getting more dry over time. Ultimately, I think having silicone as a first ingredient makes hair oils too heavy for me (though I've yet to find another with water first). I consider this to be more like "hair makeup". If I was going to an event I would 100% use again for the amazing glossy look and intoxicating smell. It doesn't really make hair healthier or moisturized though, so be cautious if you plan to use it after every wash. Definitely need a good clarifying shampoo.pastelorange

This argan oil is the perfect oil for my thick hair. It is a perfect balance of argan oil and silicone and it smells like a divine warm vanilla. My hair after using it, is very shiny and soft and the product helps a lot with the frizz. Beware that the bottle is not big but you don't need much of a product for your hair. I will repurchase it when it runs out. Use it either on dry hair or after your shower. I usually use it just on the ends and the tiniest bit across the hair and it gives amazing shine and softness! I’ve used a few different argan oils for my hair, most common ones being the OGX and Hanz De Fuko Hair Oil. The Forte Series beats them both by a mile! I have fine hair, so those of you who are like me know it’s hard to find a good product that controls frizz while not weighing your hair down too much. This does just that! It’s not too oily and heavy (much like the OGX ) and does a better job controlling the frizz when compared to HDF Hair Oil. This stuff goes on super easy and evenly and leaves my hair soft all day. The scent is the same as the molding paste so no need to worry about clashing fragrances. Fine Hair Tip: after washing with shampoo and towel drying, I mix a drop of this in my hand with the Molding Paste as a pre-styler to give my hair so much more volume when blow drying!Matt M.

I absolutely love this product. The smell is amazing and it makes my hair soft and somewhat glossy. When i apply the product to my hair, it glides smoothly across, which I really like. I use hair dryers a lot throughout the week when I style my hair, so I also needed something that could work as a heat protectant, and this product does just that. I am comparing this product to the discontinued Matrix Shaping Oil Cream – my all time favourite product. I have short, thick, coarse hair and let’s start by the smell – it is absolutely divine. The product is smooth and easy to apply with the pump and leaves my hair feeling soft all day with a lovely shine to it. Downside, I am finding I am using more than what I actually need to control the fine stray hair strands that make it seem I have a halo!!! Would make travelling difficult as you will need to decant product into a leak proof container. Does compare well to the discontinued Matrix product and overall it is a good substitute for me and my needs.Lunda

As all other Moroccanoil products, this has a great and lasting scent. I'm not entirely sure the point of this product, but I apply it to my hair after showering and it definitely makes my hair a little more manageable. I air dry my hair and it seems a little less damaged and a bit smoother. Not perfect, but definitely better. I have been loving the , it very hydrating and nourishing without being to heavy and weighing your hair down. It’s got a gel like consistency and you I don’t need much to work through my long dry curly/ wavy hair. This is a very good oil to use on the days you want to refresh your hair as it’s very smoothing and helped to get rid of my flyaways. If you’re doing the curly girl method I wouldn’t recommend this product as the third ingredient long is dimethicone but if silicones aren’t in issue I would definitely recommend given this oil ago. It doesn’t have a strong scent which is nice as I don’t like anything too overpowering in a hair product. Argan oil is the fourth ingredient along so you get quite a high concentrate of it in this oil. I’m going to continue using this oil and see is my hair improves anymore, I will leave an update on here soon! sophie.b

Holy moly! This is the holy grail for my hair. I use Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner, which has been truly amazing for my hair. However, my hair is still unmanageable when it's wet. I have a lot of hair, but very fine strands. I also bleached the underside of my hair a hair ago and it's never been the same since. Given all these factors, trying to brush my hair wet is a painful nightmare and practically impossible to keep it all untangled, as it just re-tangles as soon as I brush in another direction or try to put up in a bun. I used this okay my wet hair, and my hair brushed like butter!!! I put it up in a bun, no tangles! Now that it's dry, it's even softer which I didn't think was possible. After I showered and dried my hair, I put a few squirts in my hand, ran through and rubbed into mid-length to ends and brushed. First brush-through was extremely easy and took one stroke. Ok so I have long hair (past my butt) and this hair product definitely helps tame the frizz and overall, just does a great job at smoothing my hair. I usually style my hair 1-2x a week and this has definitely made a difference! My hair isn't burnt/fried and it's just a great leave-in conditioner overall. It's pricey but I definitely believe it's worth it! I always get compliments on how my hair smells because of this so that's definitely a plus! 🙂Stef B

Truthfully, I'm generally not into any sort of hair oil due to texture aversion–that goes for all brands. But I liked this! I do like how OGX made this oil as a mist instead of the other oil with the pump lid. In the past, the pump lid oil that is much thicker would stick everywhere else but where I wanted it on my hair! I really appreciate the innovation of an oil mist. Applying to the ends of my hair, the lighter mist oil adds some shine and softness to the touch. It smells faintly like coconuts with the floral perfumed scent that are found in hairspray—smells good though! It also might've pushed me to consider hair oils more often. I'm 51, and my once beautiful curly brown hair is just dull and lifeless. Been trying several shampoo brands for moisture and curls, from super cheap Suave to expensive Kendra, and everything in between. This exact product included. I haven't noticed hair loss like some say, but I have noticed since using this OGX bottle, my scalp is super itchy. Haven't experienced this with any other shampoos. It hasn't been a terrible brand to use, my curls are looking better again, but the itchiness is driving me crazy. Yet I have a friend that swears by it. This product has been changed and not for the better. I used to LOVE this product! Now there are some excellent one-star reviews on Amazon that really nail down the problem. Here it is very simply: this product used to have Cyclotetrasiloxane as its number one ingredient. Now its number one ingredient is Dimethicone. Look them up on the web. Whereas you used to have a luscious dry shine to your hair you now have a greasy fly away style. The oil will actually come off on your hand it is NOT a DRY shine. They even took the word shine out of their description and now they call it hydration. The molecular structure of the Dimethicone will not allow you to put another product on top of it to round out your hair care routine. ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK!!MIKEY77

I have Mane Like hair. Years ago I bought and loved loved. Unfortunately 2 ounces for me lasts 2 weeks maximum. I received a sample with a previous order & even though it just covered ends of hair, It reminded me how much I love it. My recommendation, especially first time you use, is use as little as possible, you can always layer more if necessary. Otherwise you’ll just waste product. I use on damp hair. I have also used on Dry hair when humid out. Poof proof. Serum doesn’t weigh hair down or make hair tacky, sticky, brittle or stiff. I recommend.Rachel B.

Argan hair serum is the best treatment I have tried. I have thick but fine, straight hair and this makes it shine, gives it moisture and at same time leaves me with tons of body. I have thick, incredibly dry, dry hair. This serum has been a staple in my home and in a drawer at work for many years. I put two shirts in my palm, rub palms together and ravish my dry hair with it. This is the only Argan oil I will use on my face, one pump from the bottle is all you need, it soaks in to my face immediately and would last 24 hours if I didn't wash my face twice a day! I use it on my lips at night and it really works well! It's hard for me to find it where I live but now I know where to order it from! I'm sorry to say I do use a different Argan oil for my hair from a beauty supply store as this one is too heavy, but it's wonderful for cuticles face and I add it to my body lotion as it doesn't lay heavy on my skin it soaks right in mixed with my lotion I won't use anything else on my face! I use this oil for my face. As someone with naturally oil skin, I was really hesitant to even try it. But this stuff has helped my face be less oily and has cleared my skin and helped reduce the size of my pores. One bottle lasts forever and it’s a great price. Fantastic product for hair health! I bleached the life put of my hair at one point and this product has helped with that issue, it helped in-between sessions while going platinum at another point in time, and also with my natural, virgin hair as it has grown out. After some trial and error I learned a specific way to use this oil so that I could love it as much as I wanted to and more. ❤️ Scent – I wouldn't say this oil has a "bad" or "weird" scent. It's simply a nutty fragrance that is barely noticeable at times. Definitely not a bad smell. Consistency & Spreadability – When you first drop a few pumps of this oil onto your hands, you're probably going to think "Wow, this is actually a light oil." While does feel light, the spreadability is surprisingly low, so I recommend taking it one pump at a time, to avoid a head of greasy patches. End Result – This oil, hands down, has helped IMMENSELY in softening my sad, damaged hair, giving it that much needed and heavily desired "slip". It has add a natural-looking shine, made it feel healthier than it's ever been and successfully kept it from falling out of my head. In the steps I take for my hair, it helps protect it from the heat tools I use, as well. The Process – I personally use this either on damp hair after a shower (applying a finishing oil once it's dried), or before bed so I wake with soft, silky and easy-to-style hair. Again, using only a drop or 2 at a time in sections, concentrating on my end most of all and avoiding my roots. So I had to suck it up and figure something out. I gave this a try after reading reviews and I’m SO glad I did. My hair looks shiny and glossy and full without even a hint of grease and all of the flyaways are tamed. It’s like photoshop for your hair. And oh MY is it soft! There’s no gooey, sticky residue (I even like how moisturizing it is on my hands afterwards), and I use a pump all over when wet, and another half pump on my ends when dry. Also, I have to mention the scent. I have a hard time with heavy smells, especially on my head since I work out daily which means scents get hyper-activated with sweat. I was worried that the scent would be too much, but it’s light and really clean. I used to use Lush R&B on my ends during the winter which I loved the smell of (it’s too heavy to use year round) but I actually like the smell of this even better. It’s lighter and fresher, and dare I say invigorating? Anyway. Yeah. I still can’t braid or curl or style my hair (I wish this did that for me too!) but at least I look like less of a basketcase and I can get a brush through it now!LizHal

Previously, I was using the original Moroccaoil Treatment Hair Oil and was loving that, but decided to give the light version a go since it is labeled specificlsly for thin / fine hair. And wow, I am so glad I did! The first day I used it, I noticed my hair looking visibly nicer! It softens, smooths, hydrates, and helps to smooth frizz. My hair was so soft and looked so shiny. It did not weigh my hair down at all, like a lot of oils can for thin hair. I’ve noticed less breakage at my ends and my hair looks the healthiest it’s ever been. Also, the smell is so good! I apply the smallest amount (smaller than a dime) and rub it between my hands before massaging it into my hair starting at the middle of my strands and working my way down to my ends. If you have thin hair and wish to incorporate a hair treatment but struggle because most products are too heavy – this is it. Will continue to repurchase again and again.julianna.t

I really wanted to love this product because I love the milkshake line but I just didnt. I have incredibly dark blonde dry hair this gave it some shine but did nothing for the frizz. I could have put more product in to try to control the frizz but then it would have looked greasy. So this is going to the back of the cabinet where I will NEVER use it probably throw it away in 5 years when I move. Lol.Anonymous

This stuff is amazing. The smell, the consistency, the way my hair feels after my shower, wow! I first encountered this line of products staying at a hotel & immediately fell in love instantly. The citrus smell is so refreshing. I leave it in my hair while I shave, use on a daily basis (I have to, I work in extremely dirty, greasy conditions) and my hair has never felt so healthy and smooth. I’ve used natural products before, but no other companies compare to pharmacopia products. I’ll continue to purchase for as long as they are available! The shampoo is great. But the pump tube in the bottle is too small and the shampoo doesn't squirt out very well. I'm relegated to unscrewing the pump, taking it out and just slathering the shampoo on my hand. I tried this at a hotel and like so many, loved the shampoo. It's not a heavy lathering shampoo, but it cleans so well, and is gentle on my hair. I find it to be worth the price, and after using it for over a year, it hasn't left a film or weirdness that i've had with other shampoos; Both the expensive salon types, like Matrix and Redkin, and the store brands like Dove and Panteen.V.M.

First let me say that I’ve been using Foxbrims Argan oil for years. Before that time I tried several other brands. I find that Foxbrim’s is lighter and soaks in my skin my quicker. It also does not have that rancid smell that other brands have. The price is phenomenal for the quality. I use it for many purposes including taking off eye makeup and hard to remove mascara. Argan Oil is a moisturizing aromatic carrier oil. It has a pleasant smell and can be combined with essential oils that would cause discomfort when used on their own. On the front of the bottle is states this is a certified organic product that is unrefined, cold pressed, and ******. That means it is not processed and is as pure as possible. The ingredient list is only one ingredient long: “100% Pure Certified Organic Argan Oil”. The bottle arrived packaged well. The bottle is dark brown. Brown bottles are used with oils to preserve their potency as most oils can have their effectiveness decreased when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. The cap of the bottle is a medium-sized dropper that reaches into the bottom of the bottle. It is a glass dropper that functioned well when I tested it. On the bottom of the bottle is a white label that states an expiration date of December 2018 (about two years). Foxbrim distributes from Lake Alfred Florida and this particular oil was sourced from Morocco and bottled in the US. The bottle states this product was not tested on animals. The bottle carries the USDA Organic certified seal as well as the ECO CERT. Argan oil is used mostly for skin, hair, face, and nails and the bottle has suggested use for each of these categories. This oil can also be used as a carrier oil, combined with essential oils and applied to skin. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased opinion.Steve

I'm really loving Argan Oil these days, and Foxbrim has offered an excellent product. I'm a bit of an oils geek, and am actually comparing four different brands of Argan. I love that Foxbrim is a pure oil, unadulterated and undiluted. It is ****** oil, which means this is from the first or second pressing, and of high quality. Foxbrim oil is also Organic, because if there are toxins and pesticides on your plant, they're in your oil, and no one wants to put pesticide on their face, right? (OK, someone out there probably does. I'm not that someone.) Scent: This is the lightest of the four oils when it comes to scent. I find that consistent with this brand as I test various oils. It does not seem to indicate anything in relation to the use of the oil, however. The oil has a scent I call "sweet and earthy, like fresh beets". Now, while I do enjoy beets, I don't prefer them as a perfume. So I love that this has a light scent which evaporates quickly as the product is absorbed. Straight-Up: I use this oil straight-up on my own face. It absorbs easily, is considered one of the least likely oils of any to clog pores, and is actually used to help treat acne problems due to oily skin. Personally, I put about 6 drops in my hand, rub my palms together, and smooth over my face, giving myself a mini-massage as I do. I switch between this and my blended moisturizer, depending on my needs and the weather. Blending: If you like to make your own lotions, moisturizers, and lip balms, you should have this in your "potions cabinet". I like to use 1/4 cup coconut oil, two Tablespoons Argan oil, 1/2 teaspoon beeswax, and four drops of the essential oils you most need (I like carrot seed and frankincense, but you can change it up, or even leave it out!). Whip the coconut oil, add the argan and beeswax, and whip again to combine. Viola! This brand of Argan blended nicely, and made a great cream. I have purchased other Foxbrim products, and haven't been disappointed yet! I'm thrilled to have this in my arsenal of oils. I did receive this bottle at a discoun in exchange for the promise of my honest review. I am under no obligation to give any product a "good" review. I love this Argan oil. It has a very faint nutty smell which lets me know it’s truly Argan. It is moisturizing and makes a great seal to help with trans epidermal water loss. I use it on my hands, body, face and hair. Sometimes I mix it into a lotion to apply but often just use it on its own. It’s a great value.Lauren C.

As a 1 year user of Timeless Hyaluronic Acid, I trust the Timeless line for quality and decided to try out the Pure Line Argan Oil as a compliment to the HA with the hope of replacing my existing skin cream. I ordered the 4oz refill size as it was a good $$ value (Shipping to Ontario is about 2 weeks for anyone who is wondering). I would have ordered the larger bottle, but wanted to make sure I liked it first. So, I have been using the oil for 1 week now, and it is a positive experience for the most part. The oil is very light and unscented which I love as I have allergic reactions to strong scent. It also absorbs so fast that I find I have to be very quick to apply it or it will absorb into my fingers before I get it to my face. Still, even if I have to use a little extra, I am only using about 3-4 drops maximum. I try to apply it to the driest areas of my face first (for me, this is the T-zone), then massage the rest all over the face. Any left over residue is massaged into my cuticles and finger nails. I apply it on cleansed skin, before bed and after applying the HA as the Argan oil is absorbed with the acid and helps to seal the HA into the skin. There is no greasy feeling or worry about staining the pillow because both disappear into the skin within a minute or so. In the morning, my skin feels soft and smooth. It is not necessary to use face wash when showering, water is enough. I apply the HA again, immediately after showering when my face is still damp and follow with 1-3 drops of Argan Oil. Within a minute or two, I can apply foundation. My skin feels soft all day even in the harsh dry air of my office. I have had no adverse effects from the oil, so no redness or break-outs and I have very sensitive allergic skin. My only complaint is that I cannot afford a truck-load of the stuff to fill my bathtub so that I could soak in it! I also bought the Hyaluronic Acid Vit. C serum and the Arbutin MAP Kojic Acid Skin Lightening Cream which I will review soon. S…Sharon H.

I bought argon oil for me and my daughters. They use it on their hair but for me it’s too oily for my thin hair. However I found it amazing on my sensitive skin. I use it as the last layer after my moisturizer. It absorbs quickly. My skin feels so hydrated and smooth and any redish spots just disappear.Magda M.

I decided to try out this combo shampoo and conditioner and upon first and second use I was pretty impressed. I used them both the day after a partial highlight and found that it kept my hair light and soft which can be hard to accomplish the day after a highlight. Sometimes my hair would come out of the first at home wash fluffy and a little dry. With the product itself I'm happy with, however here are some issues: 1. If you keep the bottle standing upright the product can be hard to get to the top. Even shaking it multiple times only a portion of it gets comes to the cap. I found that I had to keep it sitting upside down in order not to sit in the shower shaking it for a minute or two. 2. If you keep the bottle upside down the product comes out of the cap from the back and the sides. Also, when you use it normally, a lot of the product gets caught in the cap when you open and close it. Outside of the issue with the packaging and the product being a little hard to get to the top, it's one that I would buy again and keep in the rotation.Ashley

With this oil you're basically just paying for expensive smelling silicone. No joke, in my hands it basically just feels like lubricant. Takes forever to wipe off my hands, can't imagine how much it's gunking up my hair. It does smell really nice, and it does smooth the hair down, but I don't believe it's helping make the hair healthier at all in the long run and might even be detrimental for dry curls like mine. 1 star for smell, 1 for absorption. I switched to Olaplex oil and like it much more, the smells are also pretty similar.jaxx612

I love using purple shampoos to keep my blonde bright between salon visits. I was gifted this product for free from the brand in exchange for my honest review. This product definitely helped brighten but I found it a little drying the first couple tries. I paired it with a heavier hair mask in other washes and that helped a little. I loved them scent of this, it lasted on my hair for a while and was nice a clean smelling. Overall a decent purple shampoo and I'd buy this line again.courtyyyy

I bought the shampoo and conditioner in a pack together. The conditioner isn’t very creamy or spreadable. I find that it does nothing for my hair. My hair type is dry, easy split ends, and curly/wavy hair. So I brush it out usually with conditioner. With the conditioner in it felt like I was brushing wet tangled hair, it barely helped me de tangle. I wouldn’t recommend this product for anyone with a similar hair type to mine.🦋.𝓢

Very nice, light, not heavy even if you use too much, curly hair looks great after washing the hair and pretty good the next day as well. Works well on wet and dry hair. I have been using Soap Box shampoo and conditioner which improved my hair so thought I’d give this a go. I have curly / wavy hair and need gel in order to tame my frizz. When I comb this through my hair before applying gel, it dries with WAY less frizz, if any. I’ve even tried replacing my gel with it completely and have had good results (plus use way less product)!Alicia K.
