I was so impressed with this sun screen. Having combination skin, I hate the feeling of having a film over my skin, and dread touching my face as I know my skin will be oily on the T-Zone and butterfly area after a hot day. The consistency of this cream is runny, and it applies easily on my face; I didn't notice a white cast, but I am Caucasian with a tendency to get freckles when I am in the sun. The cream lasted pretty much all day, and I did not get sunburn at all; what's more, my skin felt absolutely fine when I got home. No slimy, oily nose and cheeks to be seen! I bought the non-water proof one to try out, in hopes that the waterproof element is what makes this apply chalky, but after using a completely translucent SPF (which isn't waterproof and has some sketchy ingredients, hence my search for its replacement), I'm so totally spoiled and cannot fathom the idea of any sunscreen that doesn't seep completely in. Am I being unrealistic? Most likely. But I definitely don't think it's fair to say "leaves absolutely no greasy feeling or white cast on your skin." Despite the title, this sunscreen is my new favorite, a pretty solid “Holy Grail” skincare product for me! The positives: has such a light, smooth texture, melts into my skin like no other product, allowing ease of reapplication throughout the day as well as general enjoyment of putting it on every day (im just one of those people that wont apply it daily unless I enjoy the experience) Additionally, i love that its a mineral filtered sunscreen (ive got eye sensitivities that prevent me from using chemical filtered spf on my face) as well as the luxurious ingredients and overall formula that agrees with my acne prone skin. I didnt experience any white cast, as it does have a very faint tint but I do have pale skin, so take that into consideration. Despite being white, I do still notice a huge difference between formulas that give a white cast versus those that dont, however I only have my and my friend (who has a much deeper skin tone than me) as real-world anecdotal evidence on the white cast of this product, so obviously thats not a huge sample size. The negatives: the PACKAGING for the cost is pretty abysmal… not only can you not look at this product without the lavender paint peeling off, but you just cant expect consumers to be that careful with a product they (should be) carrying around in their purses to reapply throughout the day! Especially because this is a $60 product from a HUGE name brand company that could very easily have paid more to develop better packaging. The overall bottle isnt bad, i love how thin it is and the dropper/applicator makes it a breeze to carry around and apply, but the paint flaking makes it look cheap. It may be a small gripe to some, but it really bothers me. I ended up taking a scrub brush to it and purposely removing the entire exterior paint on the bottle so that it didnt look so gross and bad. I cannot believe how well done this mineral sunscreen is. Let me start out by saying: if you are able to wear chemical filters, by all means – do that. Mineral filters are a huge pain. But unfortunately, they’re the only option for some of us with sensitive skin (self included). I’ve tried so many mineral sunscreens in my life, and been disappointed by the majority. Sticky, heavy, white cast, and a low SPF. As for THIS product: This was a pricey purchase for me, but I thought that if there was a chance it ended up being nice, it could be worth it. It turns out it’s not just nice. It’s phenomenal! It ticks every single box for me: beautiful application, unscented, non-irritating, no white cast, blurs my skin (what kind of wild bonus is THAT in a sunscreen!?) It’s a mineral sunscreen that – rather than leave my skin looking worse – I look better while wearing it!? A few notes: it’s a thin formula, so you want to be cautious in the application. Due to its price, PLEASE do not attempt to underapply. I’ll add that I like the packaging personally as I’m standing it up at my vanity, but know it doesn’t lend itself to just standing on its own. This is a great sunscreen that applies easily and blends into the skin beautiful without leaving a white cast or oily residue on the skin. It looks great on it’s own since it is slightly tinted so it leaves your skin looking more even and healthy after applying. It also serves as a great makeup primer under foundation. So far I’ve used it on it’s own and under both liquid and cream foundations. I had no issues with it pilling like some of the other reviews are claiming. My guess is that this conflicts with certain skincare products. Now onto the annoying part of this sunscreen – the packaging. For $60, I expect the packaging to be flawless. Unfortunately, like most Tatcha products, the packaging is just pretty to look at but not the most functional. I thought the bottle was so cute and easy to carry around when I first bought it. But after leaving it out on my bathroom counter, I realized that 1. The depth/width of the bottle is too thin for it to stand up on it’s own and gets easily knocked over or just falls over by itself. 2. I have acne prone skin that breaks out easily if I use products with irritating ingredients. I love that this sunscreen was formulated exactly for that problem! Most sunscreens on the market (mainly chemical sunscreens) cause me to break out even after double cleansing. The texture is lightweight and while it takes a minute to fully absorb, it leaves behind no stickiness. The smell was something I didn't like at all, when applying you have to rub it gently and wait a few minute for the white caste to disappear (don't forget it's a MINERAL sun cream). A bit about myself: age- 32, type of skin- dry/normal, sensitive, easily gets burned, with freckles and hyperpigmentation. I use 50+ sunblock everyday. This purchase was a real trial as my Tone-up sunblock has finished and the one that I ordered was sold out and didn't get in my parcel. BUT, I am super satisfied! The package in nice and stylish. The cream itself has a pleasant rosemary scent. I like how it smells (though if you don't like herb smells, better look for another Sunblock). In a few minutes after applying the smell vanishes. The cream is thick and white, but easily spread all over the face and neck. It doesn't leave sticky or oily cover. I do not feel it on my face. The skin looks hydrated and not oily or extra glossy. I'd say it has a satin finish (I attach a pic). I do not put on BB or CC cream, but the powder on top lays evenly and not visible. When I spend a day outside (camping or at the lake), I increase the frequency of applying the cream and put on additional layer every 2-4 hours (depending on the time spent swimming etc.). I challenged this Sunblock this weekend for 2 days on the river bank and my hyperpigmentation on the upper lip didn't become brown. I also didn't get sunburnt. It’s easy to blend into the skin, doesn’t leave white streaks. It’d be my favorite mineral sunscreen, if it wasn’t for the rosemary oil. I have super sensitive dry skin, and it mildly burns sometimes when my skin is inflamed and “exposed”. But I also noticed that on the areas it didn't pill, I had the best of both worlds — gentle zinc SPF protection and a bit of radiance. I also really liked how makeup applies so smoothly over this sunscreen, because some zinc sunscreens can leave a chalky feel that makes foundation look too pale. Not so with this one! Anyway, because the instructions on the product recommend layering it over a moisturizer, and because it's the dead of winter and I have drier skin, I needed to figure out what would work well with this. Turns out that a few drops of a face oil applied first work out great! No pilling at all, not even a tiny bit. I'm so pleased. Previously I was using an oil-based moisturizer that didn't even have silicones in it, but for whatever reason the Tatcha didn't agree with it. I absolutely love this product. I use it as a daily sunscreen and as a primer before foundation. If my skin is EXTRA dry, I will go in with a moisturizing serum or moisturizer first, but it isn't necessary for me every day. I'm not sure why people say that this is drying. There is fragrance in here, but it is very low on the ingredients list. I have super sensitive, combination-dry skin, and I do not find this product drying. I even bought this for my sister for her birthday. The fragrance is very light and nice (smells like Tatcha) and it feels pretty going on. No white cast once you blend it in properly, although it does go on white before being rubbed in. It doesn't have the pore-erasing quality of say Benefit Porefessional, but it does blur pores and create a silky, even look much better than untreated skin. The only reason I took a star off is because of the price. In order to get the coverage/sun protection you want and that it claims to possess, you have to put on more than a pearl sized amount. I usually use a dime sized amount, or sometimes even more. Therefor, at only 2 ounces, it runs out quickly if I use it everyday. While it doesn't seem too too pricey, especially for Tatcha, for daily use it gets expensive quickly. That being said, I will definitely buy it again! I have to say that I LOVE this sunscreen. I was sceptical of the price, but I love Tatcha products so I thought I would give it a try. I usually use it under make up and I find that it works great as a primer and really does smooth out my pores. The best thing about it is that even without makeup it really does give a blurring effect. I purchased this because I was looking for a stronger SPF for under my makeup that wouldn't clog my pores and didnt feel too thick or cakey, but the fact that it also blurs and smooths my pores is what really sold me on this product. Other brands have made me breakout but I have not had that issue with this product and have been using it for about 4 months now. The only reason for my 4 star review is that I really think the bottle should be a bit bigger. I will keep buying this sunscreen until they stop producing it or I die, whichever comes first. I really struggled with finding sunscreen that doesn't make me too oily, give me a horrendous white cast, or make me break out, and this is it. I never get burnt wearing it, and it doesn't pill or clog my pores. It is super smooth and plays well with whatever products you use over or under it. In the summer, I usually skip moisturizer and just use this as my base layer, and I think if you're concerned about excess oiliness this is the way to go. As a disclaimer, I usually rock a somewhat dewy look (too much work to fight what nature gave me) but I don't like outright oiliness and for me this hits that sweet spot. If you like a true matte look you could probably still make this work depending on what primer/foundation you're putting over it.spillanor
I have to say that I really loved this products. I read everyone’s comments but I gave a try. I do have a few tips 1. If you have a white cast, you may be using a lot more. My suggestion is to use a nickel size amount of sunscreen. Dot your face with it (one for forehead, two for each cheek, side of nose, one dot for chin). DONT rub it, but instead pat it. 2. Give it at least 10 minutes before you add makeup. I like to give sunscreen a minute to set in so I feel more comfortable with makeup. I realized that the longer you wait, the better makeup goes well for skin 3. Don’t believe when it says Matt priming. Don’t get me wrong, it is Matte but it doesn’t blurr your pores. It just leaves a soft touch (like a tissue paper) but I do recommend to wear an extra primer just in case if you’re oily or combination 4. Give it a few days to adjust with it, you may see a white cast but after you keep rubbing, it eventually goes away The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that it’s a small bottle size and I just wished it had more. It is a beautiful sunscreen, minimal citrus scent, no crazy white cast and not oily. That perfect medium. Texture feels like a light moisturizer. I have read a few comments about people breaking out but it could be the fact that it is a chemical sunscreen? I’ve had small cheek breakouts here and there but honestly, could be due to my hormones and not the sunscreen. The price point I think is what makes me come back to this sunscreen!! I’ve bought three tubes of this within the last few months. I keep one at home, in my purse and at work lol (I can’t be the only one.) In my opinion this is a really good spf staple for everyday, maybe not for extreme sun exposure and hope they never mess with the formula. Amazing sunscreen! I have been using for about a year continuously and no issues. I have darker complexion skin (melaninated sisters & brothers this works for us). It was really important for me to find a sunscreen that didn't leave a whitecast, and this works beautifully. Upon first application is seems a little whitecasty, but apply and wait a minute or so and that will vanish, leaving a dewy glow. I haven't had any breakouts so far, but on very humid days and after multiple applications, it can feel a bit heavy. I’ve been on a mission to find a sunscreen I can enjoy. I think I found it. I have oily skin, so finding a sunscreen that isn’t greasy or super shiny is the mission. This sunscreen is so light!! You can’t feel it on your skin. It dries fast without any tacky or sticky feeling. It is a tiny bit shiny, similar to what my face looks like right after washing my face. I have very dry, sensitive skin that burns easily so I really appreciate a high SPF in an elegant formulation, which this sunscreen absolutely delivers. I didn't experience any negative reaction and it doesn't sting my eyes at all. It has a light, liquid/serum texture that doesn't leave a white cast on me, although I have very fair skin. It leaves a slightly dewy finish but is not super hydrating so I do layer it over a moisturizer. It also plays well under makeup. The only reason I might not repurchase, and the reason for only 4 stars, is the packaging. I'm so over the trend of putting skincare products in glass bottles with dropper applicators. It's not practical for a product I want to be able to throw in my purse and reapply. Plus it makes it more difficult to use enough to get the advertised sun protection. If Zitsticka puts this in a plastic bottle with a pump, I'll be a customer for life.Laura

I have highly acne prone skin and about every sunscreen I have tried either gave my face a total white cast or broke me out. This does neither and my gosh does it make my skin feel amazing!! I notice that if I have a rare day I know I won't need to put it on due to staying mostly indoors, I put this on regardless! I love how it makes my skin feel that much. I have very sensitive skin: both facial and ocular rosacea, as well as a few patches where eczema crops up on my face. This sunscreen does not irritate my skin or eyes in any way. It is supremely gentle and leaves no white caste. In addition to not bothering my skin, it has actually improved it. It feels and looks smoother and softer, and has considerably reduced the milia under my eyes. At 39 I'm new to wearing spf every single day, and loving it. I've discovered sunprise spf 50+++ and I'm genuinely shocked by it. My makeup has never looked better or lasted as long. It just works as the perfect primer. I also use a bit of the nyx angel veil primer down the centre of my face. But on its own this primer was never anything special. But the combo of sunprise and this primer and my makeup is completely in tact 10 hours later. I have dry skin with oils coming through on my nose and reviews warned me this could be a bit drying. I find it a little bit drying around the eyes. So I moisturise before using it and it's just perfect! And if worn without makeup, it's perfect too, not shiny and greasy looking. Absolutely love it!
This has been my go to for YEARS – I have very sensitive skin and chemical sunscreens burn my face. This is a full mineral sunscreen – and like all mineral sunscreens, it's got a slight white cast, but you're never going to find a US made sunscreen with as little of a white like this one. It has a milky/lightweight/matte powder feel and finish. There will be a slight pilling if you keep trying to rub it in after it's already dried, so be weary of that. This one is for the MOST sensitive of skins, as it's a physical barrier – it's also great for those with oily skin because it's so mattifying.I'm no longer wearing this one daily but there are days when I wake up and my skin feels a little raw already and milky mineral sunscreen like this are always going to be my go-to for that: Solid B!
I have a pretty oily and pale skin so I've been on the search for a sunscreen that protects, spreads well, and will not make me break out or look even greasier. I'd tried every product that (wrongly) claimed to do so and had almost given up on finding a perfect solution, especially for every day use, until this. Now, it's the only brand I'll use. Feels amazingly breathable on, not cakey nor does it clog pores. My only tip: it's thin enough to be able to spread and absorb well, but you'll want to work quickly and start with a small amount and build up as needed. If left to sit or slathered too thick, it can leave streaks of white cast that I've seen even on my pasty complexion, so I'm sure it would be even more noticeable on darker skin tones, but that's probably true of many sunscreens. I’ve tried most of the Sun Screens at Sephora, plus UltaMd ones and a few amazing Japanese ones. This is my favorite (along with the Mermaid UV Skin gel Japanese one but it’s full chemical no zinc). The texture is amazing. My skin is hydrated but not greasy. It leaves with moisturized, wet, fresh, glass skin shine- a glow which is NOT a weird greasy film or a weird glitter sparkle like other sunscreens. Great for dry skin, and it has never irritated my skin, I even use it on my eyes lids and my eyes have never felt a sting. My only qualm is that it’s only 30 spf. Biossance, please make a 50 spf!!!!! I use this guy as my daily, casual, indoor with small errands to run sunscreen. But I do use other 50 spf sunscreens when I’m outdoors or when it’s very sunny outside. I don’t feel comfortable wearing by this as the weather heats up now in Spring. I know however that this will be my winter go-to, when I need something moisturizing and comfortable without such a need for high spf (although again, 50 spf would be much preferred). Let me start by saying DO NOT use this if you have dark skin. I’m the palest person I know and you can see this on my skin. I think that’s just the nature of zinc oxide sunscreens but I’m not totally sure. I used to really like this and I had bought it because of Hyram like a lot of other people. One of my biggest concerns with this sunscreen is the fact that it has Isostearic Acid which is a well known acne causer but I didn’t realize this until my dermatologist pointed it out and it was too late to return this. I have not noticed any breakouts yet that I can contribute to this sunscreen but just know it’s a possibility because of that ingredients, Cosdna actually ranks it as a 5 in the acne category. My other quarrel with this sunscreen is just the way it applies. This is not moisturizing even though it might seem like it when you first put it on. It dries QUICK and will not blend into the skin properly if you let it dry before it’s fully rubbed in and you’ll also have white streaks on your face. This also dries down sticky and will have a bunch of hairs and dust stick to your face. I’ve also found that throughout the day at work, I’ll have white flakes pilling and flaking off on my chin and it’s very noticeable. As for actual sun protection, I’ve never actually used this in a setting where I would get sunburnt, I use this for daily wear so I’m not sure how well it protects against the sun yet. I came to the reviews in desperation to hopefully find some answers as to why this highly rated product wrecked my skin for over half a year. I’ve never had skin issues except for the occasional dry patch during winter time, but five doctor visits and three steroids later to treat the intense itchiness, redness, flakiness, and wrinkles from dry skin (!), I’m reflecting on how this might have started. Around January 2022, I tried two new products for myself: Skinfix face wash and Biossance’s sheer mineral sunscreen. I had returned the Skinfix face wash thinking that was the culprit – the irony here is that the Sephora employee said it was a “bad batch” and that there had been some sort of recall. I continued using the Biossance sunscreen because I always use SPF outside and I liked that it was a mineral sunscreen, left absolutely no white cast or pilling, and made my skin glow. However, I’ve noticed that when I go out and use this sunscreen, I have super itchy rashes and hives appearing on my face and/or neck. The redness and irritation can last for days, or on and off for months as I have been dealing with this. I’ve been making sure I’m hydrated and moisturized, so I’ve had my normal skin for almost a week now – until today. I used the Biossance SPF again and within 20 minutes of being outside, I began to feel the tingle on my jawline. It was too late and now I’m sure it’s been this product this whole time. The dermatologist had dismissed the SPF initially as a culprit, but seeing these reviews..yikes. I have literally lost sleep by using this product because I have been clawing at my face and neck from the intense irritation. The difference is almost outrageous: milky moisturizer vs. spackling paste, I know which one I'd rather put on my face! The only downside is that the tubes are rather small if one is keen on applying enough to get the labeled protection; I can see myself going through multiples quite quickly. Regardless, highly recommended for anyone who has skin. A great sunscreen with the added benefit of being great value. I find this sunscreen light weight, with no noticeable fragrance or white cast. Some sunscreens have made my combination skin feel greasy but this one doesn't which is great for make-up and for my confidence! Also like that that I have no trouble with it stinging my eyes, causing any redness or blemishes. I thought it was reasonably priced but this 2 pack made it even more affordable. I had been looking for a gentle sunscreen free of common harmful sunscreen ingredients, but also free of alcohol, fragrance and essential oils. You see I've got rosacea-prone skin, and these ingredients dehydrate my skin. Plus, I've got sensitive eyes, lots of sunscreens make me tear up. BUT not this one, it's so wonderful how it checks all my requirements, It's also not sticky, gets absorbed fast, and doesn't leave a white cast. i initially was super exited about this spf from hearing so many great things about it, but after trying it for myself i was dissatisfied. i want to start by saying this is just how it worked for me and my skin and judging by how many people love this product, it still might be a good option for you, but personally it’s not good for my skin. First off i was a little disappointed by the size of this product, but that’s not a huge deal since they list the size on the website, so that’s more on me. But when i out it on i noticed it was very streaky and didn’t sink into the skin well. It also left a white cast (which i normally don’t have issues with since i have a lighter complexion) and a few hours after wearing this i noticed it had started to pill up on my face.shelly
After reading reviews I was so excited to try this sunscreen. It took a long time to arrive (first package got lost in the mail and they had to send me a second one). When it did arrive I did not notice much difference between my current drugstore face sunscreen and this product even though my drugstore sunscreen is less than half the price. I wouldn't say this sunscreen is "greasy" but it definitely leaves a shine. I didn't experience a white cast and there is not an intense smell which are all good. It did not go that well under makeup which is one of the main reasons I bought it, I saw reviews saying it was even a "primer" but did not work well for me in this department. Overall it is fine sunscreen however I will likely stick w/ my cheaper and equally effective drugstore brand that is also a higher SPF.Emily
i have very oily skin and i’m obsessed with sustainable beauty, so i was excited to have a lightweight sustainable spf (the daily is a bit too heavy for my liking). at first i loved this; it did pill a bit, but if i blended quickly and waited ten minutes before doing makeup it was fine. it’s lightweight and hydrating and truly an spf “fluid.” however, i noticed these relentless little bumps around my mouth, where i was clear before. after some research i found that the mouth area is a prime place for “fungal” acne, and that an emulsifier in this spf (glyceryl stearate SE) is a major fungal acne trigger. i stopped using and my skin cleared up so quickly. for anyone experiencing this: turmeric and ginger clear fungal acne, so i’ve been using the turmeric mask stick which has helped tremendously. the search for a sustainable spf for oily girls continues.gabby

I really like this sunscreen because it leaves very mininal white-cast (not zero (maybe like 5% out of 100%)). So people with darker skin tones can use this after massaging it into your skin for a minute or two. The reason I didn’t give this five stars is because it leaves me way too oily and shiny. It makes me look like I’ve been sweating and I’m not into that. It goes away slightly after half an hour to an hour, but it will always have that oily feeling. If you want a shiny look, then look into this sunscreen. If you want a matte sunscreen, I suggest looking somewhere else. The picture is of the sunscreen settled in after about 30 minutes.Dhamar A.
I have always loved the sun, but as I've gotten older (39 yo female), it has turned dangerous for me. I have light to medium skin tone but after Accutane in my teens, my skin hasn't weathered the sun in the same way and has worsened as the years pass. This, coupled with the SPF 50 spray, helped me to enjoy the sun without (mostly) returning home with a severe burn all over. Great lotion-type sunscreen that gives a great dewy finish. Perfect for drier skin types; doesn't dry you out and leaves you looking moisturized. The SPF 50 protection is perfect for everyday wear. Finish is non-sticky/non-tacky and very comfortable. Although for some, it may look too dewy (maybe not the best for oily skin types). Application is smooth and comforable. Reapplication is easy and layers well, doesn't feel heavy at all even though I chose to moisturize before but this can be optional if you have normal skin. Blends in effortlessly with no white cast or streakiness. My eyes do not sting at all despite using a very generous amount. Got a few friends on this and they love it. I love this sunscreen – it has 8 types of hyaluronic acid and skin-friendly ingredients. It's super moisturising and my skin feels supple with the well-blended ingredients. There's no irritants detected after the patch test and I use it right away in the morning. It's been two hrs and I don't have any allergic reaction so it's good for me. I recommend this to people who have compromised skin barrier with lack of moisture and skin discolouration from sun exposure to use this protective sunscreen. Usually, my skin will randomly flare up which makes my skin redder with worsening dryness. I live in a tropical humid and hot country so the sun is strong here which is bad for my skin (eczema). For one, I do love the scent and the feel of the product but it is really low in spf and protection. I have their other higher spf sunscreens that I will be repurchasing however, so this is not an issue! I recommend this as a reapplication of spf throughout the day but not as a product alone for spf. The scent is light and natural, stays on all day. I dont know if i love or hate this product. It leaves a white cast at first but it disappears in a few minutes. Its a bit hard to apply beacause of its thick consistency. On the other hand it smells amazing and acts as a primer (it blurs the pores and evens your skin tone). I like it but I think that during the summer, with a tanner skin, it wont look as good.Eli
This sunscreen is the one I had high hopes for. But, really, all it did was give me a super intense white cast and dry me out where I feel like my face is made out of beef jerky all day. I feel like my face is that of a cadaver. I felt the need to splash water on my face throughout the day that I wore this. I tried it about five or six times, and it might work if you have extremely oil slick types can, but that might just mean that you need to fix your moisture barrier. I think that this is just far too drying and may be too drying for even someone with an oily skin problem. Some days I feel oily, but consistently, every day that I wore this I just felt awful! If anything, the only thing it was good for was encouraging me to drink a ton of water to try to come back out the dry skin feeling of my face. Also, smells like baby powder.freyk...

I originally tried this out after having a reaction to the cult favorite UV Clear–I think my skin disagrees with the niacinimide in that formulation. Anyway, I was happy with the quality of EltaMD, but looking for something more moisturizing for my combination/dry skin and I found it in UV Facial. This is an incredibly moisturizing and rich formula that does not leave a white cast on my pale skin. It will leave an ever so slight shine on your face, which translates to a glow on my skin, so if you are oily or prefer a completely matte look then this product probably isn't for you. I find it wears lovely under my foundation–something that can be a challenge with sunscreens. I love this formula so much but had to knock a star off because of the use of chemical filters. If this sunscreen was purely physical it would be a 5/5 holy grail formulation. I keep testing out all-mineral sunscreens and always come back to this one. If you are on the drier side and don't mind a chemical sunscreen, try this out!roshni.p
I use this as my daily sunscreen! Honestly I haven’t had a lot of luck with many sunscreens because of white-cast, oiliness, etc, but this one has been the best formula of the ones I’ve tried in the past. It’s a lightweight formula but you can definitely feel it on your face for the first 20 minutes after applying. It definitely protects your skin and it feels like a clean product, and not too heavy. It has a slight white-cast that goes away after a minute of rubbing in. My only downsides are that it leaves an oily/glossy finish (which I personally dislike) and that it pills with other products. The gloss isn’t terrible, you can certainly cover it up with some powder, but not too bad alone. It definitely can pill so I have opted out from using it with makeup or serums. I keep my morning skincare routine very minimal (just wash and moisturize) so that this sunscreen will not pill. I’ve had it pill before with the cerave vitamin c serum. But it definitely works overall so 4 stars 🙂alexis.f
I have literally tried over 20 sunscreens. Finding one that checks all the boxes ingredient wise and that had a nice finish is nearly impossible. Actually, this is the only sunscreen that has met all my criteria. It also makes my skin look and feel amazing. I have acne prone skin, I’m combo oily, I don’t like feeling anything on my face, and I enjoy makeup. I’m also on a retinoid. I have been using this sunscreen for over a year, and continue to come back to it when I go exploring to see if there’s something better. So far, there isn’t! The finish is natural. It’s not too shiny and not too matte. It literally just makes my skin look healthy and moisturized but not oily at all. There is absolutely no white cast. It does not pill under any makeup I’ve tried. It layers up beautifully. I’ve reapplied 3 times in a day and it manages to stay silky and not cakey on my skin. It does have a very mild, pleasant scent- which is great because I hate fragrances in products or ones that smell naturally of battery acid. It does not sting around my eyes AT ALL. It also has the added benefits of improving my skin texture and look of my complexion. Though it doesn’t add coverage, per say, I can go without my powder foundation when wearing this. Even my husband who hates wearing anything on his face and has a medium deep complexion loves this sunscreen. It’s the only one he will wear! I will continue to repurchase 🙂FairlySkinAddicited
