The 7000 lb model was a tight fit under my SRT sports car and I was concerned it would not have enough leverage to lift the 3400lb body. But it worked without issues with only an inch of pre travel. Had leaks at first, probably should have allowed thread sealer to set up overnight, but a thorough cleaning and heavy duty yellow teflon tape solved that issue.LOUIE

On the 2nd day, I tried to lift the VW Golf station wagon which was only slightly heavier than the Mini. I raised the car to the top location, lowered it then have it locked in position. After a couple hours later, it won't raise again in order to move out of the locked position. There was no leak and all hoses were connected securely. Priming the power unit per video instruction did not resolve the issue. The power unit simply make the noise but QuickJack won't move at all. I really like to keep this product, however, if I can't get it resolve by Quickjack support, I have to return it. Can you imagine how insecure and inconvenient it is when the car is stuck on the lift and I need it for work the next day? I will update this review again.Alan

The transmission in my Mercedes decided to go into limp mode. Instead of taking it to a shop, I decided to attempt the repair myself. Figured out the problem was the transmission control module, which in this car, is installed inside the transmission. I really hate to work under the car due to lack of space, but this lift made it a breeze. Had nearly 2-1/2 feet or more of space under the transmission, making this rather easy but messy job, quite doable in my driveway. Overall, the lift performed as well as I expected. However, a few problems I had were: Upon arrival, the hoses attached to the pump unit were loose in the crate, and I had to tighten the connectors to stop fluid loss. Maybe I didn't tighten them enough, but after working on the car on and off for nearly a month, with the car left midway in the air ( supported by additional jack stands to take the weight off the lift), I finally finished the job and lowered the car and took it off the lift. Only to find a huge puddle of fluid had developed under the pump unit. Not sure where it was leaking from, but perhaps I didn't initially tighten the hose connectors fully. I'm hoping all I need to do is replace the lost fluid. But, during use, there was no leak whatsoever. Only after use, did it leave the puddle of fluid on the floor. It would have been nice to have an owner's manual or some literature to refer to, but it was simple enough to figure out what to do and how to use it. Mechanically, it seems to be well made, and more than sufficient for my needs. The lift was a little pricey to purchase, but the transmission repair quotes I was getting for this S Class were in the $4 to $6 K range. So, even with the purchase of this lift, the additional diagnostic equipment, and additional parts and supplies, I still saved over half of what I would have otherwise paid. So this was definitely a worthwhile investment!George
My garage is under and not very high so like most a standard lift is not an option. My 2 sons now have their own vehicles so the need to work on them, my wifes, my daily driver, plus plow truck, plus my 52 ford and 78 bronco is never ending. These 3000lb ramp lifts are a life saver. The cars are so low that using a jack is aggravating and time consuming. These lifts are quick, easy and give you tons of room to work under any vehicle. The hydraulic lines all have quick connects so you can get the jack pump out of your way. Personally I would like the lines to be twice as long to make it easy to use under the rear tires because I am definitely going to purchase another pair so lifting the whole vehicle will be a piece of cake. I will have some longer lines made. Can not say enough about how much time and effort these ramp lifts save. Even to change tires, I just use these to lift the vehicle, set jack stands under and drop them down. Hoping in the future there are more designs to lift more weight (also have 2 power stroke diesel one tons) and maybe ramp lifts that go higher. They are lighter than I thought they would be and very compact. VERY happy with this product, great design, wish I thought of it. I highly recommend this product. Makes hard work easy. The post is very well built, heavy duty and works great. The manufacturing company would do themselves a favor to do a better job on the directions. They are very poorly written with tiny pictures. True you are able to figure it out without them, but it sure would have been nice to have been able to read good directions. I had to open the wiring box to figure out the wiring and in doing so found the ground wire was pulled lose. I had to hesitate for a moment on whether I would recommend it or not because of the above but decided to recommend it because the post itself is a good value.delelde-qdidyea4po
