I received this as a sample in the mail since I had not ordered anything recently. Even though it was only one application, I used it "just to see" if the description was accurate. It was! I liked the sample so much I immediately ordered it and, in fact, am re-ordering tonight. I have been doing peels for at least 12 years. Sometimes I do "light" peels, sometimes heavier peels. Depends on how much visible peeling I want to deal with. I don't, however, do them during the summer. I don't spend much time in the sun, but never know when I will be outside for several hours in someone's pool. I purchased these to use for the summer but have decided to continue using them long term. It is a very easy, simple application — much less work than a regular peel. It takes only a few minutes and there is no mess to clean. I love the "refreshing" feel from part one of the two part system. I do have extremely light peeling in certain places but nothing horrible to deal with. I have been using these now for a month and have noticed small improvements, specifically on my neck area. I am truly a fan of this product.

The scent is not very pleasant, but it fades away after a while. I would suggest applying it 30m before going to bed so your pillowcase won't get dirty. It doesn't irritate my skin nor dries it out. Ok. So I had two really bad scars from my belly button piercing that I took out many years ago. I'm 2017 I got scar removal surgery and it did nothing basically besides make my it a tiny bit less noticeable. Last year I spent over $1,000 on fraxel laser to remove it.. once again this helped the appearance slightly. However my scars were still dark and noticeable. I was very excited to try this product. Of course, the whole idea behind an exfoliating peel is that it strips away the outer most layer of dead skin cells, leaving behind a brighter softer, firmer face. That was not the case with this product. Firstly, it differs from other exfoliating peels on the market because it is a leave on product. You do not wash it off. Secondly, you're supposed to use it every day, as opposed to once or even twice a week with other products. After testing this product for a week, I was glad to put it back on the shelf. My largest complaint was that it smelled like liquid smoke. I felt like I had just smeared barbecue sauce all over my face. Even though it went on as a very thin liquid, it left behind a sticky residue that would not go away. The instructions say to wait for the product to be fully absorbed by your skin, and then apply a moisturizer. The product was never fully absorbed. The instructions also want you to apply this to a freshly cleaned face. Part of my skin care regimen is a very light, exfoliating cleanser. If I applied this product after washing my face with said cleanser, it stung and burned. If applied after just a gentle cleaning without exfoliation, I didn't have any issues with stinging or burning. After week of use I could not detect any noticeable differences in my skin. I received this product complimentary for reviewing purposes. Iām not a stranger to chemical exfoliation; AHA, BHA, and retinol are regular parts of my skincare regimen. I also typically use a higher percentage AHA treatment once every week or so. All of this is say: I thought this would like one of those. I was wrong. The application itself is not very beginner-friendly, as the product has a very intense alcohol scent. I found myself coughing each time I inhaled during application. Itās also very uncomfortable, but luckily that feeling subsides after the first minute or so. Immediately afterwards, my skin feels tighter and drier (and my skin is already fairly dry.) The days following, my skin peels and flakes off, not unlike the first time I tried retinol. However, about six days after the peel, my skin is noticeably nicer. The texture smooths out considerably and my forehead looks almost glassy. Itās quite nice. Of course, I stop all other exfoliation three days before and after, stay hydrated and moisturized, and wear sunscreen during the daylight hours. Iām very pleased with this peel, but Iām not sure if I would have stuck with it if I wasnāt already used to chemical exfoliation; the scent, the discomfort, and the peeling for days afterwards could deter someone less experienced.jessica.c
This has help clear my skin well. For the pass two years, I struggle with really bad acne, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots. Thanks to this, it has improve my skin. My face looks more clean, healthy, glowing and most importantly clear from acne. I went through 2 peels (which is about a month) and so far everything is good. The only thing that Iām not a fan of was applying this to the skin because it gave me a little burning sensation.
I completed the first vial of blue brilliance a week ago. I had peeling from day 4-7 and my skin looks brighter. Iām looking forward to completing the 2nd vial in about a week. Itās a small vial but the product goes a long way. The initial sensation I felt was tingling, then burning in some sections as well. Skin type: In between oily and normal (naturally), normal when consistently using retionid gels (Tretinoin gel, Adapalene gel) My brown skin is prone to dyspigmentation from inflammation, acne, injury and sunlight exposure. Itās not prone to hyperpigmentation from products tho (except in very rare cases) It also sometimes gets duller looking than usual in the winter. This stuff is a dream. Greatest ADJUNCTIVE OTC product Iāve ever used for lightening darkened skin, instantly giving me a brighter complexion, making my warm/golden undertones pop (more vivid color) and maintaining the flawless even tone I was chasing. Using this all over my face along with hydroquinone (2%-4%) cream as a spot treatment this will quickly fade the darkened spots/sections. If you use other chemical (acid, enzyme) exfoliants and/or strong retinoids (tret, taz, adapalene) youāll probably get velvety skin thatās smoother and softer the touch. It also gets more supple and bouncy even though Iām still in my 20s and thus have a lot of bounce & smoothness to my skin already. I have been using a stabilized, ph <3, properly packaged ascorbic acid serum for years. Itās my holy grail for brightening but since my skin is resilient I can put it on after using this. These two products are the DREAM TEAM for giving my face the radiance Iāve always wanted I use this on my face for up to 20 minutes (my own dermatologist said this was fine for me considering how my skin reacts to stronger in office chemical peels) and for 7-10 minutes on my neck. So I'm 34 and have had adult acne for 10 years. A few months ago I finally discovered my perfect routine and I thought I'd share it with anyone who might resonate. I realized I can't layer products and my skin needs more simplicity. That's when everything cleared. It involves some OT products one of them being this amazing AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peel but some are not. Here it is: PM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne prone skin/scars : 1)Wash face with CeraVe Foaming Cleanser (rinse off with warm water and washcloth) 2)Wipe off any remaining makeup with a cotton pad + Bioderma Sensibio micellar water . It helps prevent damage by harsh tap water. 3)Moisturise with The Ordinary pure Rosehip oil. *3 times a week (instead of Rosehip Oil ) use The Ordinary Mandelic Acid+HA (Moisturises while gently exfoliating over time). Once every 2 weeks: The Ordinary AHA/BHA peeling mask for 10mins. AM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne-prone skin/scars 1) Wrap an Ice cube in thin cloth (like gauze) and massage your face with it for 1 min (then towel dry) 2) Wipe face with Bioderma Sensibio micellar water + a cotton pad 2) Five mins Face lifting massage with The Ordinary Rosehip oil. I ordered my second bottle of this mask back in May, and just finished the bottle now. I've been using this as a weekly exfoliating mask, but it is not my favorite one I have ever used. It is at a pretty good price point – and I first bought this as a way to start exfoliating at home instead of just when I had the time for a facial (it was recommended to me by a friend with similar skin: sensitive, with rosacea). After finishing my first bottle; I then tried the Sunday Riley good genes (used as a rinse off 10-min mask) and PTR pumpkin enzyme exfoliating mask. I then bought this again to compare and contrast. As far as price; it is obviously the cheapest and a great option for someone on a budget. As far as how well it works; I first got this because at the time I had just cleared up a few months worth of hormonal acne (I am not acne prone, this was my first bout with acne and I did not know how to care for it, so I was left with quite a bit of PIH). I read about how the use of exfoliating can be helpful for healing PIH. In all honesty, out of the three exfoliant masks I've used, this has faded my acne scars the most – but – it triggers my rosacea – whereas the SR and PTR I could use on my whole face without causing my rosacea to go nuts. So, I started only using this on my chin and jaw, but it would still manage to affect the rosacea patches on my cheeks and part of my neck. Since I have faded my acne scars to the point that I want to stop using an 'intense' mask 1-2x's a week, I don't have plans to purchase this again – as it did what I needed it to do. If you want to fade acne scars- I definitely recommend this product (but definitely include the use of sunscreen in the morning) but – if you have rosacea, be wary because every time I used it – I had a reaction. (I just purchased GR watermelon overnight mask with AHA's to see how that will help with fading remaining bits of PIH without triggering my rosacea)hasmm

I was a little bit skeptical when I got this in my glam bag x this month. After trying it I can report that I absolutely love this peel. Itās extremely gentle yet very effective. It has a very light scent. I applied it and it started working with foaming bubbles and a light tingle. I left it on for 15 minutes and it dried to leave a beautiful gold leaf looking mask. It wiped off with no effort at all with a warm washcloth leaving a gorgeous glow on my skin. The best part about this were the instant results without irritating my skin. My skin can be somewhat sensitive. I love when I get a surprise product that works wonders that I never knew about. I also love that itās made in the USA. With most products being made in China itās getting harder to find items made in the states. Probably one of my favorite ābubbling foaming masksā I have ever tried. I got this one through IPSY and loved it. You do around 8 pumps and spread evenly over the entire face and neck. You have to move quickly as it does begin working immediately. Within seconds your pores will be bubbling with the golden peel mask. To me itās more of a bubbling oxygen peel than a illuminating peel. The only downside is there are no instructions on the packaging. I had to look it up online. Once the bubbling stops after a few minutes simply rinse off and pat your face dry. I would highly recommend.christopher.v
Dude this thing is like tin man level shiny gold on your face and immediately after dispensing it bubbles all over you face for a minute and then goes back to gold tin man! I was a bit worried about this product at first, especially after reading some other reviews, however I decided it was worth a go and it was one of the best skincare decisions Iāve made! Iāve used it twice now (once weekly for 10mins) and itās almost completely cleared up my skin, aside from a few acne scars which will probably need a bit longer. Iāve been using this alongside other products from Revolution, including their cleanser, hydrating serum, and SPF moisturiser, and itās done wonders for my skin. I have combination skin and itās now visibly smoother, less oily, and my pores are less visible than they were.Leah

I have purchased this product several times. I ALWAYS go by directions! Depending on my skin at the time of peel, I might do one or two layers or I might to the max amount. I also leave it on for different amounts of time depending on how my skin is that particular day, but again I never go over the max amount on the directions. This is a serious peel and you will love the results but you must follow the directions. My suggestion would be to go light/easy the first time or two. Make sure you do over bathroom sink & have a cold wet washcloth nearby So you can safely remove the mask When the time is up. Keep away from eyes!!!! And have your phone timer nearby so you can be vigilant about timing yourselfjackie l.
As a 40ish woman, I have become keenly aware of the signs on aging on my skin. My primary concerns are large pores, uneven texture, congestion, and dark spots. I just purchased my second bottle of this. When I use this as directed, (it could easily have poor results if used otherwise), I see an instant reduction in pore size and texture. In the days following the āpeelā I do notice a few white heads that come to the surface. Itās important to remember that bringing sebum to the surface is one of the actions of a chemical peel. It keeps further dirt and oil accumulation from occurring in the pores. This peel is not overly drying and I donāt notice overt peeling even with layered application. I do make sure to moisturize and put nutrients back into the skin immediately after. Given itās price point, ease of use and effectiveness, itās absolutely worth trying.
Iāve been using this product for years and have recommended this to friends and family. Use this about once a month by brushing a light layer on your face. Wait for no more than 2 minutes (depending on your skin sensitivity) and wash off completely. Do not leave for too long because this is acid and will corrode away your skin/flesh ( thatās the whole point of using this – getting rid of the layer of old skin cells). Use a nice moisturizer afterwards and apply sunscreen especially diligently for a few days afterwards. You will have beautiful skin for many years to come.

I found this in the perfect time … one of my favorite salicylic acid products was discontinued and I was in need of a new one. Although, Iām thinking this might be ever better! It also has glycolic acid and a retinoid, which is great for my skin post acne. I have a lot of redness and scarring left over that Iāve been trying to get rid of. However, most retinoid products are too harsh for me and make me break out. This one is just enough and mixed with the AHA and BHA to perfectly help my skin. Take this from a gal with sensitive and acne prone skin. However, itās important to note (which itās on the packaging) to WEAR SUNSCREEN when using a retinoid product or you can really hurt your skin. Keep that in mind! I have dry/sensitive skin that oftentimes becomes red/inflamed when I use products containing Salicylic Acid, however did not experience any adverse reactions while using this product. I was primarily interested in trying the out as an anti-aging product vs. an acne-clearing product (since my acne is very mild), and am genuinely happy with the results so far. I currently am incorporating a number of products containing AHAs and Retinoids/Retinols, however this is the only product I am currently using that contains BHAs since I am usually sensitive to those. I would say the benefit I have most prominently noticed from using this is a slight reduction in the amount of blackheads I have on my nose. Compared to other products with active ingredients like this, this is a steal at $39 for 3.2 fl oz. A little goes a long way, and I can see this bottle lasting me at least 2-3 months with daily use. I received GOOPGLOW 5 Percent Glycol Acid Overnight Glow Peel–Light complimentary from GOOPGLOW in exchange for my honest opinion. Let's start with the good stuff. The biggest thing for me is that, because this product contains only 5 p/c glycolic acid, it is a much lighter, less irritating version of GOOPGLOW's similar product that has 15. That makes it a perfect way to enter the world of acid peels and chemical exfoliation without fear of burning your face off! Those of us with sensitive skin have to worry about stronger products causing painful damage, and then having to try to soothe the burn and cover the redness for days afterwards. There was no redness, no damage, no discomfort for me with this stuff. Maybe–MAYBE–a slight tingle at application, but that was it. Another great thing is how easy it is to use this product. Two-sided pads come presoaked with product, so all you have to do is open an envelope, remove the pad, slip your fingers inside it and glide the pad across your face, neck, and chest. Wait 15 minutes to apply your night moisturizer (skip other treatments) and go to bed. The product dries into your skin, so there's no mess on your sheets. I don't have any criticism of this product, though I would caution against expecting big immediate results. I had hoped to see beautiful glowy skin the following morning, but didn't really notice much difference. I do exfoliate pretty regularly using other chemical exfoliants, so maybe there was less dead, dull skin to remove in the first place. I can't say I was disappointed because I know it takes time for results to appear with virtually any skin care product, but don't think this product will change your life overnight. And since the recommended frequency of use is once or twice a week, it could take a while to see results. I would have to use this product for a lot longer to know if it is something I recommend. Ive been using a 7% glycolic product once a week for a few years now. I received a sample of the Goop 15% product with a Goop purchase I made. I have sensitive skin that reacts quickly to a product it does not like and leans toward dry if not highly moisturized regularly. I was hesitant to try a higher percentage glycolic product, but also very interested. I ran a test on my neck and had no issues, so I decided to try it on my face. I had little to no tingling and my skin immediately started to glow. I woke up to soft, smooth, glowing skin just as advertised. I was so pleased with the results I decided to purchase a box. I'm currently on week two with the 1x/ week 15% and the results remain the same beautiful effect so far. I had been wanting to try this skincare line for a while now and finally was able to. Itās actually very gentle but yet effective. I seen immediate results just after one use. Itās not harsh or irritating whatsoever. I believe this could be for all skin types even for sensitive skin. It left my skin so clean, bright, soft, and my pores were so much smaller. It was as if I had new skin. It didnāt leave my skin oily, no greasy residue, no dry patches, nor did my skin get oily later on. I am so impressed with this that Iām switching up my whole skincare regimen. Because I have yet to really actually find products that work or that just work well with each other. I feel as if I use so many different products from so many different brands that I may not be getting the actual full effect or even using products that actually target my skincare issues in general. Some background first, I have super oily skin and I have been looking for a good gentle exfoliating product that helps wipe off the day from my face yet be mild enough as I use retinol at night ( makes my skin sensitive as I am just starting to use it). This product pretty much hits the spot in every way. Love the texture, the grittiness, the mild scent and the mask experience overall. I can massage the gritty texture while removing and my recently sensitive skin tolerated it pretty well. It left my skin feeling fresh, clean and dewy! This is my 2nd or 3rd bottle of Dr Gross' Ferulic + Retinol night serum & it is by far my #1. After I clean, I rub in 3 pumps over my face & chest. As a cancer survivor, I used to get dark patches on my face that my dermatologist could not remove. I had places that were scaly, some oily & my skin just looked tired. With the quarantine, I focused on my skin & what options I had. This goes on so smooth & it feels Good and smells clean. It disappears into the skin & even glows a little. I have loved this mask for the last 2 years. It leaves my skin so soft and helps stop breakouts in its tracks. That being said, this most recent repackaging also came with an unannounced reformulation – the addition of Fragrance/Parfum, which is so unnecessary in skincare products. Especially this one which already smelled great. Many like myself look to ācleanā brands that donāt use ingredients like Fragrance in their products – so to see naturopathica going this direction, and changing their ingredients WITHOUT putting any sort of disclaimer so consumers can do their due diligence, is disappointing. Iām unsure if Iāll be reordering this from here on out, which sucks because this mask is previously fantastic. Fragrance has zero benefit to your skin – besides containing potentially harmful ingredients with zero transparency, it can also be irritating to sensitive skin types like myself. I use several Neutrogena products, because they are experts in skincare, and their products always do what they promise to do. I take very good care of my skin, because the nicer my skin looks, the less makeup I need to wear. I can highlight my skin, rather than cover it up. I have found this to be an excellent product! Its ingredients include glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, and hyaluronic acid. Because I have dry skin, this works well for me, because it is a peel with hyaluronic acid, which ensures my skin will get adequate hydration. I apply this before bed, wait a few minutes until absorbed, then add a little more moisturizer (also Neutrogena brand). It goes on nicely (not sticky or tacky), absorbs well, and works all night to give me that glowing skin I love to have! My skin is smooth, soft, and 'brown' spots have faded considerably.
