I would say I have fairly good skin – as I’ve gotten older i can see a few more lines and it’s sometimes less “glowy” as I would prefer. These are game changers. Step 1 is a little tingly but nothing you can’t handle and it’s sooo worth it. Step 2 feels extremely hydrating. I did them in the morning before work and I got so many compliments on the glow my skin had & the smooth texture was a bonus too! Just ordered a new supply and I cannot wait for them to arrive! I bought this. First of all it took 3 months before I got it because they said it was so popular they were backed up. Finally received it , I was excited to try it and #1 of the peel all packages are dry. #2 was moised. However it doesn’t do anything to make the skin smooth or bright

It is formulated with those goodies in liquid form to make it easy to use! Just like any toner, pour it into a cotton pad or ball, wipe it down all over the face after using a cleanser. I received this product complimentary for reviewing purposes. I’m not a stranger to chemical exfoliation; AHA, BHA, and retinol are regular parts of my skincare regimen. I also typically use a higher percentage AHA treatment once every week or so. All of this is say: I thought this would like one of those. I was wrong. The application itself is not very beginner-friendly, as the product has a very intense alcohol scent. I found myself coughing each time I inhaled during application. It’s also very uncomfortable, but luckily that feeling subsides after the first minute or so. Immediately afterwards, my skin feels tighter and drier (and my skin is already fairly dry.) The days following, my skin peels and flakes off, not unlike the first time I tried retinol. However, about six days after the peel, my skin is noticeably nicer. The texture smooths out considerably and my forehead looks almost glassy. It’s quite nice. Of course, I stop all other exfoliation three days before and after, stay hydrated and moisturized, and wear sunscreen during the daylight hours. I’m very pleased with this peel, but I’m not sure if I would have stuck with it if I wasn’t already used to chemical exfoliation; the scent, the discomfort, and the peeling for days afterwards could deter someone less experienced.jessica.c

I completed the first vial of blue brilliance a week ago. I had peeling from day 4-7 and my skin looks brighter. I’m looking forward to completing the 2nd vial in about a week. It’s a small vial but the product goes a long way. The initial sensation I felt was tingling, then burning in some sections as well. It said you may either do 1 or 2 wipes with the solution (2 if you can handle it). I did both and left it on for the full 10 mins. Great product so far!jessica.s

I've always had good luck with glycolic acid products on my face. I currently use a glycolic toner. This peel is thick, with the consistency of a serum. You simple put a few drops on a cotton round and apply to the face (I also did my neck and decolletage). It dries almost instantly. I left it on for 5 minutes and then rinsed. I didn't experience any irritation, so I did a second round. (You can do up to 5 rounds at a time). That time a couple of spots began to burn, so I didn't do another layer. Afterwards my skin was SO soft and smooth, I couldn't believe it. I glowed the way I do after a professional Dermal Infusion. I then applied my normal products and went to bed. In the morning, I woke up to very oily skin, but I washed it and then it was fine. I'm really in love with this terrific product.JJL

This is hands down the best product I have ever used for not only my acne but also my dark spots. As a black woman with a stressful job, I got a lot of stress acne this year due to the pandemic. After I started using this and the 20% salicylic acid peel on my face from this same company, my skin changed drastically. I have been using this product twice a week or once a week depending on my skins sensitivity and the 20% once a week or every two weeks and my skin is dramatically different. I love their soothing gel mask and their hydra repair moisturizer with a specialized facial oil after treatments. I also use their facial cleanser prior to the peel as advertised and I apply the peel with a nice fan brush. I only keep it on for a minute and a half. I’m blown away and hooked on these products. This is a soft, 10% glycolic acid peel. Soft in that it is rinsed off after a few minutes of initial application. Product comes in a small, clear glass bottle containing a clear and thick serum like substance and has an eye dropper dispenser to apply the peel to a cotton pad or ball after which it is incorporated onto the face. If you have fair, sensitive skin its best to start off using a light portion of serum and wearing it for just a couple of minutes before rinsing off. With regular use you will positive results and for me at least, the benefits were an evening of skin tone.Sibelius

I had been wanting to try this skincare line for a while now and finally was able to. It’s actually very gentle but yet effective. I seen immediate results just after one use. It’s not harsh or irritating whatsoever. I believe this could be for all skin types even for sensitive skin. It left my skin so clean, bright, soft, and my pores were so much smaller. It was as if I had new skin. It didn’t leave my skin oily, no greasy residue, no dry patches, nor did my skin get oily later on. I am so impressed with this that I’m switching up my whole skincare regimen. Because I have yet to really actually find products that work or that just work well with each other. I feel as if I use so many different products from so many different brands that I may not be getting the actual full effect or even using products that actually target my skincare issues in general. Some background first, I have super oily skin and I have been looking for a good gentle exfoliating product that helps wipe off the day from my face yet be mild enough as I use retinol at night ( makes my skin sensitive as I am just starting to use it). This product pretty much hits the spot in every way. Love the texture, the grittiness, the mild scent and the mask experience overall. I can massage the gritty texture while removing and my recently sensitive skin tolerated it pretty well. It left my skin feeling fresh, clean and dewy! This is my 2nd or 3rd bottle of Dr Gross' Ferulic + Retinol night serum & it is by far my #1. After I clean, I rub in 3 pumps over my face & chest. As a cancer survivor, I used to get dark patches on my face that my dermatologist could not remove. I had places that were scaly, some oily & my skin just looked tired. With the quarantine, I focused on my skin & what options I had. This goes on so smooth & it feels Good and smells clean. It disappears into the skin & even glows a little. I was a little bit skeptical when I got this in my glam bag x this month. After trying it I can report that I absolutely love this peel. It’s extremely gentle yet very effective. It has a very light scent. I applied it and it started working with foaming bubbles and a light tingle. I left it on for 15 minutes and it dried to leave a beautiful gold leaf looking mask. It wiped off with no effort at all with a warm washcloth leaving a gorgeous glow on my skin. The best part about this were the instant results without irritating my skin. My skin can be somewhat sensitive. I love when I get a surprise product that works wonders that I never knew about. I also love that it’s made in the USA. With most products being made in China it’s getting harder to find items made in the states. China doesn’t have as strict policies when it comes to beauty ingredients so the fact that this is made here makes me trust it even more. Probably one of my favorite “bubbling foaming masks” I have ever tried. I got this one through IPSY and loved it. You do around 8 pumps and spread evenly over the entire face and neck. You have to move quickly as it does begin working immediately. Within seconds your pores will be bubbling with the golden peel mask. To me it’s more of a bubbling oxygen peel than a illuminating peel. The only downside is there are no instructions on the packaging. I had to look it up online. Once the bubbling stops after a few minutes simply rinse off and pat your face dry. I would highly recommend.christopher.v

Dude this thing is like tin man level shiny gold on your face and immediately after dispensing it bubbles all over you face for a minute and then goes back to gold tin man! Skin type: In between oily and normal (naturally), normal when consistently using retionid gels (Tretinoin gel, Adapalene gel) My brown skin is prone to dyspigmentation from inflammation, acne, injury and sunlight exposure. It’s not prone to hyperpigmentation from products tho (except in very rare cases) It also sometimes gets duller looking than usual in the winter. This stuff is a dream. Greatest ADJUNCTIVE OTC product I’ve ever used for lightening darkened skin, instantly giving me a brighter complexion, making my warm/golden undertones pop (more vivid color) and maintaining the flawless even tone I was chasing. Using this all over my face along with hydroquinone (2%-4%) cream as a spot treatment this will quickly fade the darkened spots/sections. If you use other chemical (acid, enzyme) exfoliants and/or strong retinoids (tret, taz, adapalene) you’ll probably get velvety skin that’s smoother and softer the touch. It also gets more supple and bouncy even though I’m still in my 20s and thus have a lot of bounce & smoothness to my skin already. I have been using a stabilized, ph <3, properly packaged ascorbic acid serum for years. It’s my holy grail for brightening but since my skin is resilient I can put it on after using this. These two products are the DREAM TEAM for giving my face the radiance I’ve always wanted I use this on my face for up to 20 minutes (my own dermatologist said this was fine for me considering how my skin reacts to stronger in office chemical peels) and for 7-10 minutes on my neck. When I go over the ten minute recommendation & use it for 15+ minutes on my face I get enhanced results. No irritation, no adverse effects, instant gratification and long term gratification. So I'm 34 and have had adult acne for 10 years. A few months ago I finally discovered my perfect routine and I thought I'd share it with anyone who might resonate. I realized I can't layer products and my skin needs more simplicity. That's when everything cleared. It involves some OT products one of them being this amazing AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peel but some are not. Here it is: PM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne prone skin/scars : 1)Wash face with CeraVe Foaming Cleanser (rinse off with warm water and washcloth) 2)Wipe off any remaining makeup with a cotton pad + Bioderma Sensibio micellar water . It helps prevent damage by harsh tap water. 3)Moisturise with The Ordinary pure Rosehip oil. *3 times a week (instead of Rosehip Oil ) use The Ordinary Mandelic Acid+HA (Moisturises while gently exfoliating over time). Once every 2 weeks: The Ordinary AHA/BHA peeling mask for 10mins. AM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne-prone skin/scars 1) Wrap an Ice cube in thin cloth (like gauze) and massage your face with it for 1 min (then towel dry) 2) Wipe face with Bioderma Sensibio micellar water + a cotton pad 2) Five mins Face lifting massage with The Ordinary Rosehip oil. If you don’t want to leave the oil on afterwards, pad the face dry with a cotton pad. Face massages help blood circulation, which heals acne, scars and reduces wrinkles. *Twice a week: Yoghurt mask (the fat hydrates deeply, the lactic acid in yoghurt brightens scars). I ordered my second bottle of this mask back in May, and just finished the bottle now. I've been using this as a weekly exfoliating mask, but it is not my favorite one I have ever used. It is at a pretty good price point – and I first bought this as a way to start exfoliating at home instead of just when I had the time for a facial (it was recommended to me by a friend with similar skin: sensitive, with rosacea). After finishing my first bottle; I then tried the Sunday Riley good genes (used as a rinse off 10-min mask) and PTR pumpkin enzyme exfoliating mask. I then bought this again to compare and contrast. As far as price; it is obviously the cheapest and a great option for someone on a budget. As far as how well it works; I first got this because at the time I had just cleared up a few months worth of hormonal acne (I am not acne prone, this was my first bout with acne and I did not know how to care for it, so I was left with quite a bit of PIH). I read about how the use of exfoliating can be helpful for healing PIH. In all honesty, out of the three exfoliant masks I've used, this has faded my acne scars the most – but – it triggers my rosacea – whereas the SR and PTR I could use on my whole face without causing my rosacea to go nuts. So, I started only using this on my chin and jaw, but it would still manage to affect the rosacea patches on my cheeks and part of my neck. Since I have faded my acne scars to the point that I want to stop using an 'intense' mask 1-2x's a week, I don't have plans to purchase this again – as it did what I needed it to do. If you want to fade acne scars- I definitely recommend this product (but definitely include the use of sunscreen in the morning) but – if you have rosacea, be wary because every time I used it – I had a reaction. (I just purchased GR watermelon overnight mask with AHA's to see how that will help with fading remaining bits of PIH without triggering my rosacea)hasmm

I received GOOPGLOW 5 Percent Glycol Acid Overnight Glow Peel–Light complimentary from GOOPGLOW in exchange for my honest opinion. Let's start with the good stuff. The biggest thing for me is that, because this product contains only 5 p/c glycolic acid, it is a much lighter, less irritating version of GOOPGLOW's similar product that has 15. That makes it a perfect way to enter the world of acid peels and chemical exfoliation without fear of burning your face off! Those of us with sensitive skin have to worry about stronger products causing painful damage, and then having to try to soothe the burn and cover the redness for days afterwards. There was no redness, no damage, no discomfort for me with this stuff. Maybe–MAYBE–a slight tingle at application, but that was it. Another great thing is how easy it is to use this product. Two-sided pads come presoaked with product, so all you have to do is open an envelope, remove the pad, slip your fingers inside it and glide the pad across your face, neck, and chest. Wait 15 minutes to apply your night moisturizer (skip other treatments) and go to bed. The product dries into your skin, so there's no mess on your sheets. I don't have any criticism of this product, though I would caution against expecting big immediate results. I had hoped to see beautiful glowy skin the following morning, but didn't really notice much difference. I do exfoliate pretty regularly using other chemical exfoliants, so maybe there was less dead, dull skin to remove in the first place. I can't say I was disappointed because I know it takes time for results to appear with virtually any skin care product, but don't think this product will change your life overnight. And since the recommended frequency of use is once or twice a week, it could take a while to see results. I would have to use this product for a lot longer to know if it is something I recommend. Ive been using a 7% glycolic product once a week for a few years now. I received a sample of the Goop 15% product with a Goop purchase I made. I have sensitive skin that reacts quickly to a product it does not like and leans toward dry if not highly moisturized regularly. I was hesitant to try a higher percentage glycolic product, but also very interested. I ran a test on my neck and had no issues, so I decided to try it on my face. I had little to no tingling and my skin immediately started to glow. I woke up to soft, smooth, glowing skin just as advertised. I was so pleased with the results I decided to purchase a box. I'm currently on week two with the 1x/ week 15% and the results remain the same beautiful effect so far. I gave four stars instead of five only because of the price point, but the results for my skin are definitely five star.Anneopinion

Finally, I found my perfect AHA exfoliant. The goop glow microdermabrasion is gentle but extremely effective. I’ve been using it since January, seen much more changes in my skin. More soft, hydrated, glowy, and brighten. Use it only once in a week. It’s pretty expensive, but I found it from TJMAXX more affordable price, and finally I bought it. I have relatively sensitive skin, leaning toward dry with moderate acne. When I used this product it broke me out immediately, and terribly. I know that an initial ‘purge’ with products like this isn’t uncommon but my acne has never reacted so badly. That being said, the skin unaffected by acne was left very smooth. Potentially this product is just too harsh for me. When I took a 2 week break and then returned to it, it broke me out all over again, just as badly. This treatment is highly effective! I use a lot of masks and treatments so when the directions said to leave on for 1-3 minutes "as tolerated" I rolled my eyes a little, but then I could only let it sit for 2 minutes. It smells like sugar, but it tingles as it sits! Another amazing product from ELF and this product is definitely perfect for every eye, lip, and face 😉😉. It is a gentle exfoliating peel that works great for all skin types, it isn’t to harsh on the skin and leaves skin with a nice natural healthy glow. It has a consistency similar to a gommage peel, the only difference is once you apply water to your face the contents dissolve into the skin making it easier to remove the product. I have used gommage peels in the past and honestly wasn’t really a fan. I felt like they were a bit messy and constantly got stuck to my peach fuzz and even at times my baby hair. This peeling exfoliant does not have that problem and actually provides physical results even after the first use. I was fairly surprised the first time I used this product because of the glow my skin had afterwards. My skin looked bright, radiant, healthy, and had a nice shine to it. This peeling exfoliant is gentle enough for everyday use and from my experience caused absolutely no irritation what so ever. It smells very nice and contains some pretty fantastic ingredients. The packaging at times can be a little faulty. Don’t get me wrong I love the pump aspect but sometimes it gets jammed and I end up having to unscrew the top to get the product out because the pump isn’t working properly. All in all that isn’t a deal breaker for me so I continue to buy this product but just be aware that the pump can be difficult at times. I know I’m not the only beauty lover and skincare enthusiast that loves a good bargain on some good quality skincare. So in my opinion the price is definitely worth a mention. Moving on some of the key ingredients that stood out for me was tangerine, papaya extract, and licorice root. Tangerine contains high levels of vitamin A and is great for those who have acne, pimples, and other minor skin issues. Tangerine works great as a peel and can help speed up the healing process for minor wounds and scrapes. Papaya extract has skin lightening properties that help clear blemishes and dark spots. The enzyme papain, along with with the alpha-hydroxy acids, acts as a powerful exfoliator and dissolves inactive proteins and dead skin cells. Working as a great exfoliant to help improve skin’s complexion and provide a softer base. Licorice root is known for helping to soothe and calm irritated skin. Licorice root is very beneficial in helping those with atopic dermatitis and other skin conditions that involve redness and irritation. Elf cosmetics gentle peeling exfoliant has ingredients that exfoliate skin but also balance skin in the process. Helping to prevent the skin from looking inflamed and irritated. I wouldn’t necessarily say I have super sensitive skin but I do often get irritation from using exfoliating skincare products especially depending on the strength and ingredients in each product. So it’s great to know that their is a product I can rely on to help exfoliate my skin but isn’t to overwhelming in strength. If you are looking for a gentle peeling exfoliant and have sensitive/reactive skin than I highly recommend trying this product out. It might work really well for you.mary.f

you're just using too much. It works best a tiny bit at a time. I use it regularly but also to remove the dead skin around a healing blemish that I played with too much. Anyone who says this doesn't work, or that it's just the product balling up is just plain wrong. It's the only type of exfoliant I've ever used that actually visibly removes dead skin. I've tried many different brands of peeling gel but this is my favorite. I do hate the bottle though, about halfway through you're gonna need a tiny spatula. Thank me later.Sweetrin

I love this product for a chemical exfoliant. It's a unique product in that when you rub it on to dry skin, you can actually feel the dead skin pilling up on your face. It's kind of gross at first but also cool to know that it's definitely working at getting the dead skin removed. This gentle peeling exfoliate is just that, gentle. I have sensitive skin that tends to get irritated sometimes when I exfoliate with other products, but this one does a really good job without irritation. My only caveat to this product is that the pump broke on it, so I have to remove the lid and get the product out that way, but I can overlook that for the amazing product.alyssa.s

Love the natura bissé peel mask, it really works instantly, after cleansing I put this gel peel on for around 15mins then use a sponge to remove, straight after I use my usual Toner, serum and face cream or oil. My skin has definitely has improved, the texture is smoother and fine lines seem smaller and less visible. Really good peel, so worth it gives typos salon results.Maddy

Don't be scared off by the words "extreme peel". You won't burn your face with this gentle yet effective peel. Before reading about it and trying a sample, I was afraid it would be too much for my mature skin. However, it self-neutralizes, so it won't burn you. I've used this now many times and have never had any irritation. Although it seems pricey, you only use a few drops each time and it lasts a very long time. I use it once a week. I think it's worth the price. I trust this "gentle peel".MissyB

I was a bit worried about this product at first, especially after reading some other reviews, however I decided it was worth a go and it was one of the best skincare decisions I’ve made! I’ve used it twice now (once weekly for 10mins) and it’s almost completely cleared up my skin, aside from a few acne scars which will probably need a bit longer. I’ve been using this alongside other products from Revolution, including their cleanser, hydrating serum, and SPF moisturiser, and it’s done wonders for my skin. I have combination skin and it’s now visibly smoother, less oily, and my pores are less visible than they were.Leah

Most peels sold on Ebay don't come with everything you need to do it at home and feel like a spa. This kit came with a peel prep to prep the skin, the glycolic acid, a neutralizer to stop the acid from penetrating the skin and then a hyaluronic serum to help heal and sooth the skin afterwards. I have combination skin and glycolic was recommended to me to reduce pores and fine lines and since this peel only had my skin light flaking and not huge peeling pieces I've repeated it every 2-3 weeks. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin and I notice such a difference I find myself leaving the house without any makeup on! Love it and will definitely buy again, the only downfall is I used the serum all up since it can be applied multiple times daily so I need to buy some extras.chekitowt954

I found this in the perfect time … one of my favorite salicylic acid products was discontinued and I was in need of a new one. Although, I’m thinking this might be ever better! It also has glycolic acid and a retinoid, which is great for my skin post acne. I have a lot of redness and scarring left over that I’ve been trying to get rid of. However, most retinoid products are too harsh for me and make me break out. This one is just enough and mixed with the AHA and BHA to perfectly help my skin. Take this from a gal with sensitive and acne prone skin. However, it’s important to note (which it’s on the packaging) to WEAR SUNSCREEN when using a retinoid product or you can really hurt your skin. Keep that in mind! I would also recommend using it once a week to see how your skin reacts and then adjust from there. That’s what I always have done with a retinoid product. 🙂MimiMarieKass

I have dry/sensitive skin that oftentimes becomes red/inflamed when I use products containing Salicylic Acid, however did not experience any adverse reactions while using this product. I was primarily interested in trying the out as an anti-aging product vs. an acne-clearing product (since my acne is very mild), and am genuinely happy with the results so far. I currently am incorporating a number of products containing AHAs and Retinoids/Retinols, however this is the only product I am currently using that contains BHAs since I am usually sensitive to those. I would say the benefit I have most prominently noticed from using this is a slight reduction in the amount of blackheads I have on my nose. Compared to other products with active ingredients like this, this is a steal at $39 for 3.2 fl oz. A little goes a long way, and I can see this bottle lasting me at least 2-3 months with daily use. All in all, I recommend as i have seen minor improvements in my skin with only a few weeks of use.austenparker598

I use several Neutrogena products, because they are experts in skincare, and their products always do what they promise to do. I take very good care of my skin, because the nicer my skin looks, the less makeup I need to wear. I can highlight my skin, rather than cover it up. I have found this to be an excellent product! Its ingredients include glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, and hyaluronic acid. Because I have dry skin, this works well for me, because it is a peel with hyaluronic acid, which ensures my skin will get adequate hydration. I apply this before bed, wait a few minutes until absorbed, then add a little more moisturizer (also Neutrogena brand). It goes on nicely (not sticky or tacky), absorbs well, and works all night to give me that glowing skin I love to have! My skin is smooth, soft, and 'brown' spots have faded considerably. My skins texture has improved so much! I’ve been using this Neutrogena Hydro Boost+ Glycolic Acid OverNight Peel for about two weeks now and can’t believe how much my skin has improved! I apply every other night after cleansing before bedtime. Moisturizing afterwards. There’s a slight tingle you’ll feel after applying which I loved. And be sure to wear sunscreen the next day since this is removing lots of dull skin (glycolic acid) leaving your skin prone to more UV Rays.
