The scent is not very pleasant, but it fades away after a while. I would suggest applying it 30m before going to bed so your pillowcase won't get dirty. It doesn't irritate my skin nor dries it out. Ok. So I had two really bad scars from my belly button piercing that I took out many years ago. I'm 2017 I got scar removal surgery and it did nothing basically besides make my it a tiny bit less noticeable. Last year I spent over $1,000 on fraxel laser to remove it.. once again this helped the appearance slightly. However my scars were still dark and noticeable. I'm a big fan of chemical peels and have tried quite a few at home at this one is legit. I could feel it working right away and the next morning, my skin looked brighter and tighter. I've only used it 3 times so far, but I truly believe after a month's use, you would see drastic results. Even this morning my husband made a comment about my skin and that's not something he usually notices. A few caveats, if you have never used a chemical peel, start slowly. I would only keep this product on for about 5 minutes the first time to acclimate your skin. And DO NOT use on consecutive days. These products are meant to only be use at most 3xs a week or you can burn your skin. And this is considered an exfoliant so avoid physical scrubs if you plan to use this peel. My one dislike was the smell. Since Covid, I have had a strong aversion to astringents and the smell whacked me in the face when I first applied the product. It dissipated quickly but it was not a pleasant surprise. Overall, this is definitely a product I could see me continue using in the future.Ni C.
The sample size I received of this was a tiny little packet so I can't give a thorough review… I only had enough product to try it once. I'm not sure if I would re-purchase this on my own but it does seem pretty powerful! It tingled a little, I actually couldn't wait to wash it off but sometimes that discomfort makes me feel like it's working so I tolerate it. Immediately upon washing it off my face looked tight and shiny in a good way. It definitely felt like it cleaned out my pores and if I continued to use it throughout the week I'm sure it would've done an even better job. I have tried other peels that were more expensive, but this works better. This is simple to use. After cleansing your face and drying it, you use a cotton pad to apply it over your face. There's no mess because the product has a dropper. You leave it on for 10 minutes and then remove it with a damp cloth. It feels a little tingly at first, but not bad. I received this as a sample in the mail since I had not ordered anything recently. Even though it was only one application, I used it "just to see" if the description was accurate. It was! I liked the sample so much I immediately ordered it and, in fact, am re-ordering tonight. I have been doing peels for at least 12 years. Sometimes I do "light" peels, sometimes heavier peels. Depends on how much visible peeling I want to deal with. I don't, however, do them during the summer. I don't spend much time in the sun, but never know when I will be outside for several hours in someone's pool. I purchased these to use for the summer but have decided to continue using them long term. It is a very easy, simple application — much less work than a regular peel. I am stunned at how great these inceedi-peels worked for my skin! I have combo skin (more oily or dry depending on the season) I have stubborn closed comedones on my cheeks and chin. I also have some blackheads around my t zone, get the hormonal period pimples and always had larger pores. I have tried so many products in hopes to see a difference in my skin. When I used the incredi-peel after only 3 uses I noticed my skin starting to clear up! I am still shook. I have purchased this product several times. I ALWAYS go by directions! Depending on my skin at the time of peel, I might do one or two layers or I might to the max amount. I also leave it on for different amounts of time depending on how my skin is that particular day, but again I never go over the max amount on the directions. This is a serious peel and you will love the results but you must follow the directions. My suggestion would be to go light/easy the first time or two. Make sure you do over bathroom sink & have a cold wet washcloth nearby So you can safely remove the mask When the time is up. Keep away from eyes!!!! And have your phone timer nearby so you can be vigilant about timing yourselfjackie l.
As a 40ish woman, I have become keenly aware of the signs on aging on my skin. My primary concerns are large pores, uneven texture, congestion, and dark spots. I just purchased my second bottle of this. When I use this as directed, (it could easily have poor results if used otherwise), I see an instant reduction in pore size and texture. In the days following the “peel” I do notice a few white heads that come to the surface. It’s important to remember that bringing sebum to the surface is one of the actions of a chemical peel. It keeps further dirt and oil accumulation from occurring in the pores. This peel is not overly drying and I don’t notice overt peeling even with layered application. I do make sure to moisturize and put nutrients back into the skin immediately after. Given it’s price point, ease of use and effectiveness, it’s absolutely worth trying.
I’ve been using this product for years and have recommended this to friends and family. Use this about once a month by brushing a light layer on your face. Wait for no more than 2 minutes (depending on your skin sensitivity) and wash off completely. Do not leave for too long because this is acid and will corrode away your skin/flesh ( that’s the whole point of using this – getting rid of the layer of old skin cells). Use a nice moisturizer afterwards and apply sunscreen especially diligently for a few days afterwards. You will have beautiful skin for many years to come.

I’ move been using this product for almost a year now, and it’s one of my favorite skin care products on the market. Typically, my skin is labeled as sensitive, which is seen as a no-go for using this product, but I gave it a chance and have absolutely loved it. If your skin is like mine, I highly recommend this product. I have picky skin – it’s not necessarily acne prone, but I do get hormonal acne. I have a sensitivity to fragrances, but not all fragrances such as vanilla or camamille. I also have eczema, mainly on my hands, that reacts badly to frequent hand washing, a lot of different lotions, and when I eat a lot of sugar or spicy food. My facial skin will also have an eczema like reaction to similar situations. Even “sensitive skin” lotions or moisturizes make my skin break out in eczema. I think the glycolic acid works will with my skin, mostly because it’s a humectant. It draws moisture in and locks it’s in. I don’t even have to use a daily moisturizer on top of the toner because my skin is so moisturized after using the product, Secondarily, I think this product works because of the exfoliant/antibacterial aspect of the formula. For the same reason that glycolic acid works as a deodorant, this product helps reduce bad bacteria from my skin and clears oils and bacteria buildup. My skin becomes less textured, my pores become less visible, my skin is moisturized, and scarring is less noticeable. This product will forever be in my rotation. + I also use it as a deodorant, and can confirm 100% that it works. I’ve been out dancing and drinking and asked around to see if there was any noticeable odor, and the feedback was all that they couldn’t smell anything! I am reviewing this for use on KP also known as chicken skin on my arms and legs. I also took before and after pictures to compare. I am also in my mid 30s and am rarely outside for reference. I tested this on my arm for 1 week without using lotion or any other products on my skin (except for soap obviously). Within a day or two I was already seeing skin redness fading and my skin looked less rough. The roughness was obviously helped because it's an acid. 7 days in I started applying lotion as well. I used Cerave lotion formulated for rough and KP skin. My final results are that this acid is absolutely a wonderful product for KP and used along with lotion and body oils could absolutely decrease KP by a lot. It is a great price for a product that can really help your skin be smoother, less red, and softer. My KP actually shifted from just on my upper arms and thighs to my forearms and calves a few years ago and no amount of lotion of exfoliation has helped my skin be smoother. With this acid, I feel like I recognize my own arm again! Redness is cut down to a third of what it was! Roughness is half of what it was! And this is after only a week of daily use! I will definitely by using this daily and buying more. As a warning, I did notice that you have to take the warning about being out in the sun seriously. I saw clear changes after just 2 weeks of use. The toner visibly reduced hyperpigmentation I have on my body and smoothed texture. Literally after 2 weeks of use, I saw some hyperpigmentation marks disappear completely and this one big elevated scar is now level with the rest of my skin in that area. I patch tested it twice before starting to use it. I only use the toner twice a week (and not on consecutive days). I also noticed that applying a physical exfoliant while showering (which I already do) speeds up the lightening/fading (of course I do not apply a physical exfoliant on broken skin/open scars). The toner is sticky upon application and can take a while (15-30min) to dry/absorb into the skin. Once it does absorb into the skin, the skin is left with a beautiful glow, which resembles a body highlighter without the visible glitter particles/sparkles. Do not use anywhere near broken skin/open scars/open wounds/acne. The toner smells like ginseng and berries (makes sense as ginseng and Tasmanian pepperberry are among the ingredients) for an hour or so before fading. It's a beautiful smell and I would love to check out perfumes that smell like the toner. Unfortunately, after using it for more than 4 months, I've noticed that the toner's effectiveness at lightening hyperpigmentation is decreasing. This decrease in effectiveness could be due to my skin growing insensitive/accustomed to the product and/or due to the intensity of my hyperpigmentation (very dark and been there for a while). I received GOOPGLOW 5 Percent Glycol Acid Overnight Glow Peel–Light complimentary from GOOPGLOW in exchange for my honest opinion. Let's start with the good stuff. The biggest thing for me is that, because this product contains only 5 p/c glycolic acid, it is a much lighter, less irritating version of GOOPGLOW's similar product that has 15. That makes it a perfect way to enter the world of acid peels and chemical exfoliation without fear of burning your face off! Those of us with sensitive skin have to worry about stronger products causing painful damage, and then having to try to soothe the burn and cover the redness for days afterwards. There was no redness, no damage, no discomfort for me with this stuff. Maybe–MAYBE–a slight tingle at application, but that was it. Another great thing is how easy it is to use this product. Two-sided pads come presoaked with product, so all you have to do is open an envelope, remove the pad, slip your fingers inside it and glide the pad across your face, neck, and chest. Wait 15 minutes to apply your night moisturizer (skip other treatments) and go to bed. The product dries into your skin, so there's no mess on your sheets. I don't have any criticism of this product, though I would caution against expecting big immediate results. I had hoped to see beautiful glowy skin the following morning, but didn't really notice much difference. I do exfoliate pretty regularly using other chemical exfoliants, so maybe there was less dead, dull skin to remove in the first place. I can't say I was disappointed because I know it takes time for results to appear with virtually any skin care product, but don't think this product will change your life overnight. And since the recommended frequency of use is once or twice a week, it could take a while to see results. I would have to use this product for a lot longer to know if it is something I recommend. Ive been using a 7% glycolic product once a week for a few years now. I received a sample of the Goop 15% product with a Goop purchase I made. I have sensitive skin that reacts quickly to a product it does not like and leans toward dry if not highly moisturized regularly. I was hesitant to try a higher percentage glycolic product, but also very interested. I ran a test on my neck and had no issues, so I decided to try it on my face. I had little to no tingling and my skin immediately started to glow. I woke up to soft, smooth, glowing skin just as advertised. I was so pleased with the results I decided to purchase a box. I’m a 40 year old man with combination skin on the oily side and owing to medication side-effects, I’ve had sub-acute acne (bumpy skin, no spots) on my forehead and a lot of blackheads on my nose and my skin is shiny/oily by mid-PM. I’ve been using a charcoal and salicylic acid scrub daily for months which had improved it a bit and then I discovered these little miracles! I started using the “Day” version every morning and the “Night” one every night for one week and then every few days. Within 3 weeks my skin is totally smooth, blackheads have gone, even wrinkles don’t seem as obvious as before. Skin doesn’t get oily/shiny by mid afternoon anymore. Subacute acne is almost completely gone and blackheads have completely gone. Why didn’t this product exist 25 years ago?! I would have loved it in my teens! I have sensitive skin but also have lots of dry flaky patches on my face which becomes more of an issue during Canadian winters. Usually when I put on my foundation and powder, there are a million dry flakes and my makeup is caking and it looks horrible. I have always exfoliated with sugar and olive oil which was partially removing the dead skin but I noticed it was exacerbating the broken capillaries on my face and making my face really red so I decided to try chemical exfoliation. I bought these pads hoping they would work. I don't have piles of cash to spend trying out different skin care products to find the right one so I was worried that if I wanted real results I would have to sell my home to get beautiful skin. I literally used these pads twice, after cleansing my face at night, and on the third day when I put on my makeup my foundation and powder went on like a dream. I had all this dead skin two days before and now all of it was completely gone. I highly recommend this product. It is completely affordable, especially when compared to some of the outrageous prices for chemical exfoliants out there, and it works! I've used soo many face scrubs and this has to be my fave! It is quite abrasive, but I like that. I have combination skin and suits me so well. It gets rid of all the oil and dirt in my pores. Literally leaves my skin squeeky clean and soft without leaving it dry. My pores look so much better and it leaves my complexion even and bright. I received this product complimentary for reviewing purposes. I’m not a stranger to chemical exfoliation; AHA, BHA, and retinol are regular parts of my skincare regimen. I also typically use a higher percentage AHA treatment once every week or so. All of this is say: I thought this would like one of those. I was wrong. The application itself is not very beginner-friendly, as the product has a very intense alcohol scent. I found myself coughing each time I inhaled during application. It’s also very uncomfortable, but luckily that feeling subsides after the first minute or so. Immediately afterwards, my skin feels tighter and drier (and my skin is already fairly dry.) The days following, my skin peels and flakes off, not unlike the first time I tried retinol. However, about six days after the peel, my skin is noticeably nicer. The texture smooths out considerably and my forehead looks almost glassy. It’s quite nice. Of course, I stop all other exfoliation three days before and after, stay hydrated and moisturized, and wear sunscreen during the daylight hours. I’m very pleased with this peel, but I’m not sure if I would have stuck with it if I wasn’t already used to chemical exfoliation; the scent, the discomfort, and the peeling for days afterwards could deter someone less experienced.jessica.c
This has help clear my skin well. For the pass two years, I struggle with really bad acne, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots. Thanks to this, it has improve my skin. My face looks more clean, healthy, glowing and most importantly clear from acne. I went through 2 peels (which is about a month) and so far everything is good. The only thing that I’m not a fan of was applying this to the skin because it gave me a little burning sensation.
I completed the first vial of blue brilliance a week ago. I had peeling from day 4-7 and my skin looks brighter. I’m looking forward to completing the 2nd vial in about a week. When I first opened the container, I wasn't too sure about Pacifica's Glow Baby Body Peel. The texture seemed a little unusual, kind of like a gelatin. It actually turned out to work very nicely. It was easy to apply and spread over my skin smoothly. I have used Glow Baby Body Peel several times now. I feel like it is improving my skin. My skin looks more "fresh." You apply, you wait, you rinse and it chemically peels/refreshes your skin due to AHA. I use on my legs bc I epilate and wax and this helps prevent ingrowns and helps my bumpy skin due to hairs trying to break through due to messed up hair growth cycles. I was a little bit skeptical when I got this in my glam bag x this month. After trying it I can report that I absolutely love this peel. It’s extremely gentle yet very effective. It has a very light scent. I applied it and it started working with foaming bubbles and a light tingle. I left it on for 15 minutes and it dried to leave a beautiful gold leaf looking mask. Probably one of my favorite “bubbling foaming masks” I have ever tried. I got this one through IPSY and loved it. You do around 8 pumps and spread evenly over the entire face and neck. You have to move quickly as it does begin working immediately. Within seconds your pores will be bubbling with the golden peel mask. To me it’s more of a bubbling oxygen peel than a illuminating peel. The only downside is there are no instructions on the packaging. I had to look it up online. I use several Neutrogena products, because they are experts in skincare, and their products always do what they promise to do. I take very good care of my skin, because the nicer my skin looks, the less makeup I need to wear. I can highlight my skin, rather than cover it up. I have found this to be an excellent product! Its ingredients include glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, and hyaluronic acid. Because I have dry skin, this works well for me, because it is a peel with hyaluronic acid, which ensures my skin will get adequate hydration. I apply this before bed, wait a few minutes until absorbed, then add a little more moisturizer (also Neutrogena brand). It goes on nicely (not sticky or tacky), absorbs well, and works all night to give me that glowing skin I love to have! My skin is smooth, soft, and 'brown' spots have faded considerably. I apply every other night after cleansing before bedtime. Moisturizing afterwards. There’s a slight tingle you’ll feel after applying which I loved. And be sure to wear sunscreen the next day since this is removing lots of dull skin (glycolic acid) leaving your skin prone to more UV Rays. I have been using this product for over two weeks. I have not seen any differences in my skin, texture and appearance, since using this product. My skin is able to handle it every evening. Most peels sold on Ebay don't come with everything you need to do it at home and feel like a spa. This kit came with a peel prep to prep the skin, the glycolic acid, a neutralizer to stop the acid from penetrating the skin and then a hyaluronic serum to help heal and sooth the skin afterwards. I have combination skin and glycolic was recommended to me to reduce pores and fine lines and since this peel only had my skin light flaking and not huge peeling pieces I've repeated it every 2-3 weeks. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin and I notice such a difference I find myself leaving the house without any makeup on! Love it and will definitely buy again, the only downfall is I used the serum all up since it can be applied multiple times daily so I need to buy some extras.chekitowt954
