I've had had my Perfect Practice mat for about a month and try to work with it 2-3 times a week. This is an awesome, very large net. It's frame is heavy duty metal and wood components that will stand up on its own without a bunch of ropes and tie downs. The absolute best thing about this net is how easy it is to assemble. After the first learning curve, it is literally 2 to 3 minutes from bag to up. Oh yeah, it has a great nylon bag to store everything in. I've had other nets with all of those flimsy fiberglass poles to put together and bend into place……..NOT GOOD. I was so tired and frustrated after putting the other type nets together, I didn't want to hit golf balls anymore. This thing is well made, heavy duty, and well thought out about what it takes to assemble the frame and attach the net. Purchased the 7'x7' net to practice at home instead of needing to drive to the practice range a few miles away. Having this feature at home allow me to take 100+ swings a day and to improve my game quicker. The price is very low for such a high quality product. I compared other nets and while their price is higher because of the golf name brands associated, their reviews regarding the quality was always hit and miss. Initial assembly time took about 5 minutes and that's because I was taking my time. The unit has been engineered in a way that it's very simple and easy for 1 person to assemble. Taking it down and reassembling is a matter of 2 minutes now. And when you put it away it fits into a bag like you'd put a tent into. If you need to move it around, it's relatively easy because while sturdy, it's pretty light. Been waitin a longgggg time for this. Some issues picking up drives however for the most part this unit is awesome! Very quick set up for on course shots that appear to accurately reflect swing data however distance accuracy appears to consistently be shorter than actual distance. This metric is however only an estimate I believe so take that with a grain of salt. Package came in super quick and although the packaging was a little beat up the unit itself comes packed in its hardshell case so It was all good. Can confirm this will work indoors with a HARD foam ball. Something like an almost golfball or 18g hard foam training ball from a local sporting goods store… I went with the 18g ball in this case, almost golf balls are a little too pricey in my opinion for what they offer. R10 is the perfect unit for your average golfer. 10/10 would recommend. Will upload screen recording of features when I get to some decent internet.Aaron F.
I got this to use at home, hitting into a net. After getting everything tweaked and measured to the requirements, doing updates and even trying different altitudes, temps, etc, the distances are still hitting about 20-30 yards shorter than what I see using Arccos or the PRGR launch monitor. But I would say, ball flight is pretty accurate. It may work better on a range without a net, idk. Also after 14-30 day free trials you have to pay extra for all the sims; E Connect, Awesome Golf and The Golf Club, that are from $200 per year ($12 per month extra for the awesome golf for the app if you use that sim) or more! The Home Tee Hero virtual rounds are fun to play though, using the Garmin app, which is $10 per month after a 30 day trial. But still comes up short in yardage hitting into my net. What would be cool is if you could stick the monitor in your pocket and track your shots with gps on your phone, like you can the Garmin g80.Robert
As an outdoor launch monitor, it seems to do ok on the range, but the user interface is still sub-par. Unless I'm missing something (the documentation is not all that great), there's no way to filter, analyze, or export your data to an external spreadsheet. Driving Range sessions also don't show in the web-based browser preventing a larger and/or tabular view on your PC. Instead, each shot must be opened, scrolled, and looked at individually on the phone interface. There's also no way to group shots, have different golfers on the range, etc. They did add the ability to select which three fields show on the main screen, but beyond that there's not much in terms of customization that I can find. At first I kind of expected this lack of functionality from a newly released MVP ('minimal viable product' in software development terms) but now it's been almost a year with little new functionality. I have a Garmin Fenix watch that I use for golf and there's been a number of bugs there that have not been fixed there either. Overall disappointing.Charles N.

Folks, this is a "SWING PATH" trainer, not a "distance" trainer. I'm new to golf, with a lot of common sense. I purchased this item even though the reviews (some) were horrible. This ITEM WORKS perfectly when used properly. I have a 90 mph swing, do i use the 90mph swing to hit the attached ball, NO! I practice hitting the ball "properly" with a 360 degree swing. I can now see my club hit the ball, the ball spins 90% of the time down the middle, no slice/hook, which is positive. I use maybe a 10-15 mph swing, remember this is a swing trainer not distance. I've not counted, but I've hit the ball with irons and hybrids maybe a 1000 times and it is still spinning. The Arm is approximately a foot long and for someone to completely miss the ball, hit the stake in the ground and break off the tightening screw, they have a horrible swing, hmm, I wonder what it did to their club. Using common sense, and practicing with this unit, my golf swing has dramatically improved. I loathe using stupidity to destroy useful items. I use a rubber mallet, soft taps to drive the units spikes into the ground. Some people just probably use a sledge hammer, break the unit and complain that it broke, but they don't state they were using a 10 lb sledge hammer. So, therefore one is mislead to believe the unit is fragile, I've mallet-ed mine into the ground numerous times, alternating left/right taps. Please, use you common sense, good judgement, keep your eye on the ball and become a better "swinger".70sRocker
This apparatus is a good way to correct the swing, if you can’t get to a golf club range. My only concern is that if the ball breaks, is there some sort of replacement that can be bought. I left a comment on another review because I didn't see the review spot. I got this for my Grandson as part of his Christmas. He wanted this to help him improve his skills as his coach told him however just a few swings and it was broken. The ball broke from the rope. I don't see anyplace to get a replacement however if this is a big issue as it appears to happen a lot maybe need to figure out a remedy. The worst part was my Grandson feeling sad and having to call me to tell me it broke. He was worried he would hurt my feelings because it broke. This obviously is not His fault as it has happened several times. I dont know a whole lot about launch monitors, but I did research for a while before I settled on this one. It seems to work great. When I played my first round, I was like what?!? My hits were not going as far as I thought they should. Then I realized it was calculating more than just my swing. Wind, height, etc was all calculated in, so it is a little more realistic. Heres the catch you should think about prior to purchase. The monitor requires a yearly subscription. Look it up first prior to buying. Also, the iPad and Mac is not compatible with all uses. If you want certain programs like E6 or golf2019, you will need a computer. I started out thinking I could create a super cheap but precise sim with the skytrak, and I came to the realization that it is not as cheap as I had hoped. In conclusion, if you want accuracy and dont mind paying out of pocket, this is perfect. If you want cheap and dont care too much about precision, go with optishot. Optishot is super cheap to build sim. Personally, I want precision and to better my game. If you are the same, go with this. Just be ready to pay. (Unless you only want the range. That comes free) The extra out of pocket is why I gave this a 4 star. I wish it came with a few courses. If it did, and it was also more compatiblewith Mac, it would have gotten a 5.bank-bobb
The SkyTrak hardware seems to work well and I like the way it can work in smaller spaces relative the radar-based monitors. My main complaint is with the WGT (golf course simulator software) integration. I've had to uninstall/reinstall the app and switching between SkyTrak app and WGT is janky (open SkyTrak app in network mode, hard close, open WGT). WGT can get stuck in some zombie state and I needed to re-install to get it working again. Finally, the SkyTrack login credentials don't seem to work on WGT – need another user name. It would be great if WGT was integrated seamlessly into the SkyTrak app itself. Hopefully this will get sorted out in future releases.James S.
The unit is very solid, I've had it over a year. My only reason for 4 star is I was experiencing an issue registering zero shots to which I could not find a resolution with Skytrak. I was unable to find any manuals, forums, Youtube's and had to call Skytrak. The long and the short of it is I had dust on my camera, not very much mind you. But if your unit unexpectantly stops registering shots, wipe off the camera lens. This could be common sense for most people but due to the few hours of aggravation with not being to find any information on this I thought I would post.Zach

There seems to be an imperfection that isn’t easily noticeable to the eye but very noticeable when putting slowly across it. Unfortunately, it isn’t going away and affects the usage on the end with the circle outline. The other end of the mat rolls true but I don’t want to be confined to using only half the mat. I plan on exchanging this mat for the same model and will unroll and test in the store prior to purchase. If this problem wasn’t present, the mat would be worth every penny.Ship111
I was looking for a putting mirror, after watching a couple videos. (You know you've been there too). I wanted some sort of alignment aid. Well I decided to spend $30 more for this, and I am very happy after a couple weeks. I find the perpendicular lines helpful to make sure my putter face is square to the ball, and the parallel lines are good for club path. The intermediary dots and dashes are good to make sure the ball is truly going on your target line and not just following a "groove". This is slower than my previous AstroTurf mat, but that had some issues and no markings. I play nicer public courses, so the "10" stint meter rating for this is pretty good. (the pros play 12-13). I plan to leave mine out, even tho they said it is best to store it. I also sweep it against the grain of my shot to hopefully prevent any grooves from forming.gssss
I saw this putting trainer on the My Golf Spy website, and thought it might be just the thing for improving my sometimes (well, often) inconsistent putting over the winter. By the way, I purchased this product, and am not being compensated in any manner for this review. Here's what I like the most about the PuttOut Pro Putting Mat: 1. The mat comes in a reuseable heavy duty cardboard tube, encased in a nylon cover, about 18" long and 8" wide. This doesn't take up much storage space at all. 2. As advertised, the mat lays nice and flat immediately after removing it from the tube, so no time wasted waiting for the bumps and wrinkles to subside. 3. The mat itself measures approx. 7' long by 19" wide, so you can lay it out practically anywhere in your house (or office, if you can get away with it); works great on hardwood, vinyl, cement, or carpeted surfaces. 4. The markings on the mat help with both alignment and putter stroke distance, helping to build muscle memory and consistency. 5. Because this is a consistent surface, and very close to a well-manicured putting green, you'll be rewarded when your pace is right on. 6. I opted to separately buy the PuttOut "Pressure Putt Trainer" which works nicely with the mat. This provides a good target, ball-return, and gives me feedback on the pace of my putts. 7. Everything, from packaging, instructions, and the mat, appears to be of excellent quality.
