I can only give my review on the basis of using it once… charging for 12 hours was the hardest part! Using the tool was not difficult, I did watch a couple video reviews of the product to watch it in use prior to using it myself. I steamed my face with some warm towels, next time I will do this immediately after a shower. I have sensitive skin and this did not bother me at all while using, maybe a little stingy feeling afterwards. After running tool over my face I used a toner and a moisturizer… immediately it felt so smooth and my pores appeared smaller (cleaner). I purchased this product during the pandemic, when the economy was sorta closing down and money was tight.
Now bare with me, as I explain the difference between Spa Sciences microdermabrasion $30 & PMD $171.
PMD:
-cons: expensive
-pros: has different microdermabrasion discs sizes and microdermabrasion textures from sensitive to rough (depending on skin sensitivity level)
Discs rotate around skin and suction sucks up all the dead skin with no residue left.
Spa Sciences:
-cons: only 1 microdermabrasion disc that does not rotate on machine and skin. (So you have to move it around the skin to get somewhat benefits).
Suction does not pick up all the dead skin cells. That you have lots of dead skin sitting on face. And the other suction tops don’t pick up much dead skin either. It’s like the suction is on low while you set the machine on high.
Cleaning is a hassle, cause you have to change the filters and tops from clogged dead skin cells as much as the machine could pick up.
Now, the reason I give this product 3 stars is because since I have sensitive face myself. All I can say is, it’s better than nothing. I may not gotten the full professional benefit as PMD, but this machine is handy just to scrape off dry skin what it can with no harsh damage.banana A
I expected this pore vacuum to suck out even the smallest of pores. I have very small pores so when they get clogged it’s not easy to remove the clog. I thought this vacuum was going to remove that but it doesn’t. It just removes dry dead skin on the surface. If you want to actually unclog your pores you’re better off with a metal extractor tool that actually applies the pressure to the blemish and pushes it out. I do not often write bad reviews, especially when customer service is responsive and genuinely wants to help. But with this Vanity Planet order, I have been disappointed by not just my experience with the tool itself (which left me with redness on my cheeks and bruising/marks around my nose), but by the complete lack of customer service. I tested the tool out on the bottom side of my arm and it didn't leave any marks so I tried it on my face. I don't have overly sensitive skin so I wasn't worried about trying this out. Started with my cheeks and there was some redness but nothing crazy, so I tried it on the sides of my nose (as shown in the diagram). This immediately left a bruise/dark mark on the side of my nose so I stopped using the tool. The next day I woke up to more redness on my cheeks and bruising on my nose. Reading up on things, it's going to take up to 3-5 weeks for the marks and bruising to leave my face. I provided most of this information in my review to Customer Service explaining why I wanted to return the tool (which I used for all of 2 minutes) and I haven't heard back in days. This is likely the worst customer service I've experienced in years.mr.
I was excited to buy and try the Exfora microdermabrasion wand, I’ve used it 2 times and both times my face was scratched up and itchy afterwards, also the second time using it I now have broken capillaries on my face, it dried out my skin and that’s using it on the lowest setting. I’ve had it 5 months and reached out to customer service only to be told sorry no refund, I understand they have a limited time frame on returns, and that’s if it’s not been opened which is crazy because how do you even know if it works? I was very hesitant to try this because my skin is so prone to breakouts. I’ve been so sick of being in my 30’s and still struggling with acne. I was willing to try just about anything. I’m so glad I did! My skin is so much better since using this product. I do have to use it every week to keep up with the results but it is worth it. As a lover and long time believer in microdermabrasion being a super effective treatment, this tiny machine surpassed my expectations! I thought that there was no way this at-home device could deliver Medspa results,; gladly I was wrong. I have worked with multiple devices and the key to all of them being successful products is how well they can exfoliate your skin without causing irritation or damage all while delivering beautiful results. This machine is fully capable of just that. The high quality diamond tip head and the suction piece work just as a professional microdermabrasion machine in a spa would. More importantly, it comes with the most user-friendly instructions that make it feasible for anyone to do from home. Every step is simply stated in a user manual, but the best part is that the device has a perfectly sized, easy to read and navigate touch screen -so while your'e doing your treatment you are being guided the ENTIRE way through! This is ground breaking in the beauty industry to be able to take this kind of equipment piece home at such an affordable price! I was so excited to try this personal at home microdermabrasion system from Trophy Skin to bring you my professional thoughts on this unit. Thank you again Trohpy Skin for this amazing system to try and review. As a master aesthetician of over thirty years, I was in all honestly not expecting the reaction I had which was OH MY GOODNESS this is not like other at home microderm machines. I have worked with several dermatology grade like the Diamondtome to smaller units for spas and at home labels but they just always seemed insufficiant. First off, I was surprisingly pleased with how quiet the motor runs with this unit. Some microdermabrasion machines sound like a jackhammer going off but not this one. The system is sleek and not bulky with convenient compartments to store all of your extra parts like filters, and extra tips which you can purchase from Trophy Skin. The unit itself comes with just the one standard grit microderm diamond tip which is sufficient to achieve all of your exfoliation facial needs. If you would like the precision tip it is more pointy like a pencil tip, to get into areas hard to reach like the eyes and crevices. There is also a larger diamond tip for the body if you are focusing on tone, texture, or scars. The unit is also easy to take with so you don't have to miss a treatment while traveling. It does help to watch a youtube video before you jump in and initiate treatment. Another surprise was that It also has so much suction power! As a skin care expert I jumped right into the preset settings to see how this would feel for my clients if I recommend it. (there is also the option of a manual setting but the pre-set is ideal for optimal overall treatment). I will say to beware if you have clients that overly do skin care because this is a powerhouse of a tool. Most at home systems are very weak and I have found them to be more gimmicky and less beneficial often leading to a lot of money down the toilet and great disappoint for the buyer. This unit will not disappoint! I would and will recommend to clients for use in-between seeing their skin care professional. If you are unfamiliar with microdermabrasion, let me give you a little background information on the benefits. Microderm offers benefits of gentle exfoliation to the epidermis (the outer most layer of skin). The MicrodermMD works by gliding the diamond tip gently across the skin while pulling the skin taut with one hand. Never push aggressively into your skin as this will compromise the integrity of the skin by tugging and pulling and may also overly exfoliate. The idea behind microderm is to improve skin tone and texture. Microderm can be an effective way to help alleviate skin conditions such as excessive oil, breakouts, uneven skin tone (hyperpigmentation), dry patches, comedones/blackheads, Shrinks the appearance of large pores, brighten dull skin, and bring overall balance to problematic skin. I also loved the added feature of the infusion tip to really drive serums deeper into the beneficial layers of skin where change occurs. The unit also comes with a precision comedone extractor. Onto the why exfoliate: As we age our skin greatly slows down with the cellular renewal process so this is exactly why we need to exfoliate to maintain a youthful appearance. Exfoliation kicks the cells into a higher gear and allows for oxygen to flow more freely to nourish and feed the skin's cells. When this happens, it is also supporting collagen renewal and growth. Please follow the instructions closely along with any contraindications. Do not use immediately after botox or filler. Wait a full two weeks post cosmetic fillers. Also do not use immediately following laser or chemical resurfacing. I also tell my clients to do as I say not as I do (lol). I needed to get my review done in a timely fashion so I had just done a light 20% glycolic peel and two days later tried this system out upon arrival. Keep in mind I have very prepped and seasoned skin with the product ingredients I use and the amount of time I've been using professional dermatology grade skin care. I used the system twice in one week and had amazing professional results. So good that in all honesty this would replace salon/spa microdermabrasion. Save your money for more advanced skin care procedures at the spa such as microneedling, hydrafacials etc'As an aesthetician I am not in the least threatened as I find that when clients can and will follow at home regimens it helps them as much as it helps me by speeding up the process of transforming the skin. I get rejuvenation facial massage once a month from a spa; recently they raised microdermabrasion ( 6-7 min sessions) which added on top of my routine rejuvenation treatment to $40 from $20. Yes I usually wait to review products, but this one I didn't really need to wait this long, lol.. These 2 devices with the Serums changed my skin, and I'm so pleased with both devices. I also purchased some extra tips and depending on the area or where I'm at in my skin care regimen I can use which ever tip works best for my current skin condition. This Christmas I am adding the Blue panal for my light and I wish I had bought it last year! Even at my age, I still struggle with hormonal breakouts but I also like how this will work great for my sons back. The Red light is amazing and yes I still use my led face mask, but I actually use this daily bc it's so quick and easy! That's half the battle when it comes to skincare…. consistency! And this Red light is super easy and quick, but very effective. I don't have 20 minutes every single day to dedicate to my led mask but this you will definitely find 5 minutes. I really like to use mine in the am and pm. Keep your boxes! Store your devices in their box unless you've found that special something that will hold and protect your device. The MIcrodermabrasion is absolutely fabulous! I use to pay 350 a session for this and now I do it myself and since it's at home I've been able to be more consistent with it and it has changed the texture of my skin. I'm blonde with blue eyes and have always struggled with breakouts, and that did not do my skin any favors later in life when it came to texture. Peels and microdermabrasion, and led therapy are the 3 main things that smoothed my texture of my skin. I can't say enough great things about both of these! The only thing better than these devices is Trophy Skin's Customer Service! Your investment in any device is only as good as the company behind it, and they have always been so quick to respond and respond to any questions I have had. I have seen some reviews that complain about that, but I personally have never had an issue. Responses can end up in your Spam, Junk folders so make sure you check those and add them as your contact. Just a suggestion if your not getting a response. I have many friends that have devices with TS and noone has ever had any issues. I love how this Version of the microdermabrasion has so many ways to adjust levels of suction and customize your treatment to your specific needs. It's very user friendly and it seems to stay charged for quite a while. I must admit if I'm using the machine on my full face/neck/chest (Now 1 or 2 times monthly) I like to keep it plugged it in so that I know I'm getting the same level of intensity at the end as I'm getting at the beginning. The only thing I haven't figured out is the kinetic toning… anytime I'm not super sure of what I'm doing and something is pulling at my skin on my face…. I stop. I'd love to hear if anyone actual uses this feature, and how they use it. The pore extraction is good, not great. I think with some additional tips for this would solve that issue. That seems to be why I pull out my old pore device is bc I want to use the various sizes of tips. The suction power is definitely there, but this is not my go to device when it comes to pore extraction. But tips are easy enough to add on. I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I only use manual exfoliation methods, and this is manual exfoliation but with much better results. I am so happy that I invested in this machine! I considered the less expensive one, but I really wanted the kinetic toning as well as the microdermabrasion. The first time I used it, I put it on sensitive mode since I didn't know what to expect, and I saw nice results with some temporary redness on my neck and chest. The second time I did it on auto mode, and I see noticeably more clear and smooth skin. I am thrilled! I've used the kinetic toning several times, since you are able to do that twice a day. It's basically electronic cupping, but with better results because there are many places on my face and neck where I can't get good suction with manual cups, but this device goes everywhere. I used the extraction once, and it works very well and combined with the microdermabrasion I see less "orange peel" look on my chin. One thing that surprised me was that the machine is actually pretty noisy, especially as you turn up the levels on the kinetic toning. It doesn't change my mind, but I wasn't expecting it. Also, the manual shows which direction to move the device in, but the screen on the machine doesn't exactly match the manual. I wish they'd fix that, but the diagram in the manual seems to make more sense. If you aren't getting suction, it's because you're not holding the tube flat against your skin. And change the filter every single time! I also purchased the body attachment, and it's done wonders on my scaly legs. I highly recommend this little spa that you can use whenever, wherever you want. (This one is portable because it's charged with a USB rather than plugged into the wall.)

This is a must! It has the right size of exfoliating agents to get the job done. My skin feels so amazing, soft, and clears up any rough, dry patches. I love this! The scent is soft and delightful. This product brightens my skin and day every time I use it. I should note I don't have sensitive skin or acne. I do have dry to combinations skin. Now there are a couple things I've noticed. You MUST make sure you tighten that lid after ever use. Because I noticed the times I didn't, it formed a dry layer on top, but a tad bit of water took care of that. Another thing would be that, it made my dry areas feel a bit tight after using it but it's not anything my moisturizer can't handle. I still HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!Sol
I just started using this facial scrub. It is only my 2nd time using in a week and my face feels much smoother than before. It has a nice lemon scent like lemon meringue pie. The micro crystals used in the light cream base are very small and non-irritating to my sensitive skin. Found this to be highly-effective after rubbing gently into my face in circular motion for 1 minute. After rinsing off with warm water, there is a noticeable difference as it gets rid of dead skin cells and leaves my face pink from the scrubbing. Be sure to follow with an alcohol-free toner like witch hazel so does not sting and will soothe your skin, followed by serum, and night time moisturizer that is heavier. I'm doing this twice a week like recommended and at night before bed. Highly-recommend. A little pricey at 29.99 at Ulta, but worth it and should last a good while.patrice.m
I'm so in love with this one!! I wish I could use it every day! I have semi sensitive skin and exfoliators tend to irritate me more often than not. But this one is so gentle and made my skin feel so amazing!! It is probably the most gentle exfoliant I've ever used but it worked so well. Since winter set in my skin has been dry and flakey. This was like magic! Cleared away all my flakey irritated skin and left me feeling soft and smooth! And a little goes a long way! I barely had to use any and it covered my whole face! I have only used this 3 times so far and it works well. The first time I used it I saw some blackheads but after that nothing. I guess I really don't have much blackheads. The suction was good though and I used the highest setting. I like it more for the abrasive tips to get dead skin off, and the light feature. The hot and cold compress is great as well to soothe and open and close pores. It makes your face really smooth after and hopefully it will help my complexion going forward. I bought this when HSN had it on sale for $99 after loving my facial wand from the brand and I am very happy with this thing . I have only used it a few times in the last few months because I have seen such a difference in my skin just from the cleansing wand itself there hasn't been a real need to use this more. I do have a little bruising and reddness after I use it .. but that goes away in a day or two . And it is worth the tiny bit of pain from sandpapering off your skin . My face feels so much cleaner smoother and brighter after using . I may have to upgrade to a higher level disc eventually to penetrate the layers on my forehead more. I have melasma from daily sun exposure (I'm a landscaper) on my forehead and that hasn't changed since using the micro derm with retinol after. This thing is awesome well worth the money to be able to give yourself a nice facial at home . Only downside is I bought the original which has to be plugged in while using it . But eventually I am sure I'll buy the newest model.. 10/10 recommend worth every pennyshannon.e
I was too anxious to start using it. I watched a little video and started using it on myself. I think it is great, but you have to really watch the pressure and how many times you go over a certain area. I went over and over my chin area, and now it is scuffed. I did my forehead and my cheeks, and they were fine as I didn’t go over it that many times. As a lover and long time believer in microdermabrasion being a super effective treatment, this tiny machine surpassed my expectations! I thought that there was no way this at-home device could deliver Medspa results,; gladly I was wrong. I have worked with multiple devices and the key to all of them being successful products is how well they can exfoliate your skin without causing irritation or damage all while delivering beautiful results. This machine is fully capable of just that. The high quality diamond tip head and the suction piece work just as a professional microdermabrasion machine in a spa would. More importantly, it comes with the most user-friendly instructions that make it feasible for anyone to do from home. Every step is simply stated in a user manual, but the best part is that the device has a perfectly sized, easy to read and navigate touch screen -so while your'e doing your treatment you are being guided the ENTIRE way through! This is ground breaking in the beauty industry to be able to take this kind of equipment piece home at such an affordable price! I purchased this from QVC a couple years ago. I absolutely love this machine! Want instant gratification? You need this. For one, it instantly exfoliates the dead skin layer- might I add, in a much more efficient manner than a facial scrub does. When you compare the rough/scrubbing from a facial scrub to the scrubbing effects you get from the diamond encrusted exfoliating tip that comes with the machine, they simply just aren’t the same. With a facial scrub you’re basically just making several micro cuts into the dead skin layer, as where with the exfoliating tip, it’s more like shaving your face. So with that being said yes, this thing WILL cut through hair, super fine hair in particular. So if that’s not your thing, then it’s not for you. It’s pretty much unavoidable. I like that it does this though because it gives your skin an extra smoothness that can not be achieved with scrubs or chemical peels alone. My personal favorite part is the extraction tip. Keep in mind, the suction power on the machine IS adjustable. And if have large pores/blackhead (especially) or a husband/boyfriend nearby with large pores/blackheads, then the extraction tip will surely provide satisfying results. I personally take pleasure in using the extraction tip to suck the nasty 🤮 gunk out of my husbands face. It works wonders for giving him a head start for when he falls short on keeping up with the skin care routine I have prescribed. I have to say, once I get his pores unclogged, if he DOES use his cleanser and salicylic acid serum like he’s supposed to, I really don’t need to do much extraction. It’s when he gets lazy and the gunk starts to build up that it becomes a problem, which is why having the machine to jump start his skin is so great because cleansing and serum alone won’t produce the results he needs in order to keep it going. It’s only when I use the “face sucker” that I can get him motivated enough to use skincare for 6-8 weeks because then he actually feels like what he’s doing is producing results. So POINT IS- this thing is super useful for talking your dude into giving a crap about keeping his skin clean, since it provides instant results vs having to use a routine to get slow results over time. The last type of tip this came with is one that’s used for helping serums and moisturizers better absorb into the skin, and it does in fact increase the speed of absorption, so your face doesn’t have that wet/sticky feeling for so long. I also find that the “serum tip” (that just what I call it) helps me use less product because I’m forced to work one area at a time and if I do use a little too much product, I can easily spread it on over to the next area I’m working. Overall, I’d highly recommend. There are probably other machines that are less expensive, but I can’t imagine that other, smaller/more portable types of “face suckers/exfoliators” have the suction power that the Trophy Skin does. I am a 57 year old retired beauty industry executive. I am still obsessed with skincare, hair and makeup and keep up with everything new. I had tried a couple of microderm home devices in the past but they were either too harsh, too difficult to use or way too bulky and awkward (all were more expensive than the Michael Todd version)! I love how easy and effective this one is! There are basically 5 steps outlined in the booklet that comes with it. The first three steps use a changeable different targeted abrasion tip which is as simple to switch out as can be. A little diagram in the booklet shows a facial map guide of how the use short little strokes and passes all over your face. Each step only takes 1-2 minutes. The variety of tips is brilliant and really customizes this treatment and makes it thorough. Step 4 uses a little suction tip that is just right-to draw any debris out of the pores. It is neither too harsh nor too wimpy-just the right amount of suction to be effective without breaking capillaries or anything. Step 5 is a gentle cool mist steam to rehydrate. You can use water or your favorite facial hydration mist (mine is all natural with relaxing lavender and camomile-heavenly!) The tiny water reservoir on the back of the device is well thought out and simple to fill. They even enclose a tiny funnel to use. The set also comes with plenty of little black filter tips that help collect the dead skin and gunk that is removed during the treatment. It is freakishly satisfying to change the filters and see all the yuck that came out of my skin-and I already take great care of it!) I love this thing and the price so much that I just ordered one for my close friend’s surprise 50th birthday party.
I am truly impressed with the Sonic Refresher. It came today and I just used it for the first time, and I cannot believe how soft my face feels! From the great reviews, I had really high expectations; the Sonic Refresher exceeded those expectations. At first I thought it wasn't turning on, but then I realized you have to hold the button for a second. Since I was concerned that didn't really know what I was doing even though I read the instruction booklet, I left it on the lowest speed and checked my progress with my magnifying makeup mirror. On my forehead was where it was easiest to see how well it works, because it looked like I was peeling. I used the coarse, then the small and then the fine as recommended, followed by the mister with a rosewater facial spray. I didn't use my MTB toner because I wasn't sure how much of it the mister would go through; it hardly used any, so there's no need to worry that you'll blow through your toner with the micromist. It took a few seconds for the mist to get going since it was the first time, and it truly was soothing and refreshing. I've probably touched my face at least 5 times while typing this because I can't get over how amazing it feels. My only regret is not buying this sooner. There are zero cons to the Sonic Refresher. My only suggestion would be for MTB to add cleaning instructions to the instruction manual. Those instructions can be found here in the "how to use" part of the product description.Beth
Read the great reviews from Ulta and was even happier to purchase it on eBay for 25% off retail price. It wasnt amazing. Find that the head doesnt go on surface and curves of the nose very well (although they have various heads you can used). Its not even close to the charcoal nose strips. The nose strips does a better job of extracting whatever is clogged in my nose pores (I used the strip once a week). It has decrease some of the roughness on my lower lip to chin area where I have some stubborn clogged pores. But I can still see those pores are present and filled (although they are normally tiny and remains tiny after using this). It does not remove or suck out the pores like the charcoal nose strips if thats what youre hoping for. The diamond heads scrapes your skin and the dryness or the flakes it disturbs on your skin is what it sucks in. I havent notice any dark spots lighten (like other reviews say on Ulta). I use my Clarisonic for my whole face after, then wash, then toner then Ordinary. I can tell that my toner and Ordinary are absorbed better and eagerly. I was looking forward to the mist part of this device, but my toner came out smelling horribly and there wasnt enough mist (I was hoping for something like a cool humidifier). Nope! It was more like steam from your hot drink only; not enough toner for my skin and the smell (yuck!) I was amazed after using the Clarisonic for the first time, I didnt get that feeling with this one. I bought this because I needed to exfoliate and my husband won’t let me use the little hand sander. I just can’t afford to spend the money on spa treatments. I’ve always took care of my skin but was over treated for my type of breast cancer and in 6 months went from looking 40 to 90. I was 68. I’m not vain but was devastated. Supplements, pricey lotions and potions, smoothies….. 3 years later still look old. I’ve always had dry skin so always used something, sunblock, stayed out of the sun in the middle of the day, I’m the hat lady. Every day, even after using various types of exfoliants, I can sit there with s mirror and pull off little pieces of dry skin. I use the Clarisonic with “good” cleansers and moisturizers. This came in the mail yesterday. Let it charge all day. Last night I got my mirror, the tip for sensitive skin, went to town on those thick dry places. On level ONE. I worked on the wrinkled areas around my lips, especially the deeper ones on the sides that make you look like you’re frowning. It takes a little practice to get the tip level. I think I spent 5 minutes on those dry areas. I’d go to other places and kept coming back to those dry places. A little red but not down to raw skin. I could tell a huge difference right away. Had my vitamin C serum ready, researching and my doctor thought that a good idea. I think my face and neck drank in 3 weeks worth of that serum. I just kept layering until it seemed to get enough. Then slowly, over an hour, I layered the philosophy serum- twice- it sucked that right in, a thin moisturizer and finally a night cream with C. I figured the C was good for irritation. It wasn’t irritated although I could tell my skin felt “naked” in a good way. This morning my skin looks, feels so much better. Washed and reapplied my daytime serum and moisturizer. It’s a little pink in 2 spots but its very comfortable, it feels soft to my fingers, it just feels better generally. Now I need a tip with a smaller opening to work on the nose pores. Hard to get suction on a round surface. Also, I can’t seem to find a source for those filters. I saw that mentioned in reviews here and elsewhere. So where are more tips and filters? I’ve been using Homedic products for several years and have found their customer service to be the best. They can’t read minds so if there’s a problem you just call and they’ll fix it. I wrote that here because so many people will have a problem and write a nasty review without ever letting anyone who can fix the issue know. Love you guys. I love this! It has two interchangeable heads that allow you to tailor your microdermabrasion to your skin’s needs – the featherlight head is for sensitive skin and for when you first start out, and the normal head is for regular use. In the box is also a bag of filters for the device, which you change every use. I’ve found I can often get two uses out of a single filter, which is great. There’s also a little brush that is for cleaning excess dead skin off of the heads, ensuring you’ll always get a good exfoliation and it won’t be ruined by a build up of skin. My skin feels and looks so much better and smoother after using this product. I use it at night before cleansing (I use the Foreo Luna Mini 2) and my skin feels amazing. It’s really helped with any hyperpigmentation I have from old acne, and reducing the rough texture on my cheeks.

I rarely write reviews but I felt this deserved feedback. I’ve been using the PMD Pro for a little over 5 months and the difference is significant. I use it once a week and as directed— I started with the gentlest tip and moved up 3-4 weeks at a time. I’m currently on the maroon tip which is the highest level in this pack. It’s INTENSE and I definitely needed to build up to it. The results: very very noticeably softer skin. Shallower acne scars (not gone but def diminished). Glowing complexion. I have never had great skin and I’ve gotten unprompted compliments on my skin since I started using the PMD. I’m pleasantly surprised since I was a skeptical buyer. Things to be aware of: If you go too hard or level up too fast the PMD can leave red streaks on your face that last about a day. Careful what product you put on after using— I do best with a very gentle unscented moisturizer. Other things burned. Also, I wouldn’t say this has done much for pores or wrinkles. It really just makes my skin soft, glowy, and even. I don’t get people’s complaints about it being awkward to use? Seemed pretty intuitive to me. You have to pull your skin taut so that you can run the suction across it, but that’s just common sense. Idk. Don’t let those reviews scare you away.Jessica
Waited for a sale to try this out and it arrived filthy and defective. The unit was covered in black fuzz which I'm sure was from the filter but how did it get EVERYWHERE? I did not realize it was required to be plugged in at all times. Partially a my bad, but why does every product photo show no cord? The only product imagery I see with a cord is the instructional video. I plugged it in to practice with the training head and then decided it was time to try another disc… until it wasn't because the training disc is firmly stuck on the unit. No instructions in the box on how to replace the head so I went to the internet to see if there was something I was missing. Nope, it should just pull right off, mine however did not. Even my partner who is far stronger than me couldn't get it off! He even considered trying a tool to help pop it off but at that point I'd realized it had to be defective and it was not what I expected from this product based on the advertising I'd seen etc. even for the sale price. First time using this device, with the ultra sensitive/white disk, I noticed that my skin was softer and less bumpy/textured after around my chin and nose area. I have Sebaceous Filaments on my chin and nose areas which have now been significantly smoothed out and I have less of them. Pimple scars that were dark with dead skin cells are now starting to lighten up. Some Milia on my face are now starting to come out a lot easier and faster because of the exfoliation/cell turnover provided by this device. *** The products you use are important: I've been using a lot of HYDRATING products such as Peach&Lily Wild Dew essence, Peach&Lily Glass Skin Serum, Peach Slices Citrus-Honey Aqua Glow, and Belief Problem Solution Moisturizer IN THIS ORDER in the day and at night. I always make sure to follow up with facial sunblock when I go out in the day, EVERY DAY, because this device is exfoliating your skin and making it more vulnerable, you NEED to protect it from the UVA/UVB rays. It does smooth out skin by exfoliating the epidermal layer, however it does not thicken the dermis at all. In fact it actually thinned out my skin. I was using it over an area on my skin that had one indented scar. Now there are 3 indentations in that spot. It actually made the scars more noticeable. Don't go crazy with this tool expecting miracles.
I really wanted to like this, but after trying it out I really think it’s unnecessary. If you regularly exfoliate and keep your skin clean, then I don’t see a need to use this. It’s also definitely super easy to go too hard and really damage your skin. I think regular gentler exfoliation is a way better idea for me personally.slater.j

I have been using the Revit for about three months. I am not unhappy with it, but I am not mega enthusiastic about it either. Sometimes I think: yes, my skin does seem smoother. But other days I seem to get a more troubled skin. I have some light acne scars on my chin, but they seem to have diminished somewhat. The Revit is not a miracle cure, but I will keep using it. The device is nice and light and after 5 minutes you are done, which is really nice. The instructions for use could be a bit more comprehensive.Liz1987
This little device delivers the best exfoliation I've experienced. There are 3 different tips to choose from. The tips do not rotate, but the diamond heads combine with suction. One tip is smaller in circumference for the more delicate areas around the eyes and nose. The other two let you choose gentle or more aggressive exfoliation. There are also two levels of suction intensity. I've used twice now, and my face and neck look smooth and refreshed after some initial redness that lasts about 15 minutes. Skincare products penetrate better and my foundation looks so much better. Gone are the little pesky whiteheads and bits of dried skin. I think this device will eliminate the need for cream based exfoliators, which is a win for the pocketbook and less plastic waste for the environment. It's too soon to tell if it will help with age spots and wrinkles. Great purchase!gravypro
