This is an effective product. I began to see a slothing after several days. I used a cotton gauze, applied thin layer horizontally across face and then vertically waited approximately 1-2 minutes and rinsed with cold water. I followed with Hydraulic acid. I by no means have the best consistant skin care regimen but I did make sure I used the Hydraulic serum twice a day sometimes I would use an additional night cream with it. Please be careful I did give myself small chemical burns, 1 was where a zit wasn't healed enough apparently and just another small spot on my chin for no apparent reason so I guess just a sensitive area. It didn't hurt just had another ugly spot until healed. So yes this is strong and effective, I like the result of lighter look to my age spot/ unevenness so far and skin is brighter already. This is actually the second bottle of the stuff that I have purchase. That is how much I love the stuff I actually bought a second bottle. When I first got it it took me awhile to use it. I was a bit intimidated at first because of the instructions and I had never done or used any kind of chemical peel before. So fast forward to about two weeks after I get the first bottle. To me sitting at my vanity with a bowl of baking soda and water, a timer, and my bottle of Divine Alpha hydroxy acid skin Rejuvenation therapy. I reread the instructions just to make sure that I don't do anything I shouldn't do and I decide I'm going to test a very small area on the bottom of my jaw. I dab a little bit on and wait two minutes. I'm not feeling any pain so I went one more minute. Then I wipe it off with plain water. I decided to wait about half an hour before I made a decision. About a half an hour later, since I did not have any discomfort, I decided to test a little bit larger of an area. I applied about a 50-cent piece size on my cheek and jaw. I waited 3 minutes and wiped it off with plain water. I did not experience any discomfort or any burning sensation so I decided I would do my whole face and neck. The results were RIDICULOUS! This is my second time buying this glycolic acid peel from Skin Obsession. I've never had any issues or problems using it. I use it every 2-3 weeks and leave the acid on for 5 minutes (timed) and wash off with baking soda mixed with cool water. Then I apply a thick layer of face lotion. The next day my skin feels very smooth. I find that it helps active acne dry up and fades old acne red spots. My skin complexion has definitely improved since I started using this product. Also, the free microdermabrasion crystals they throw in with the purchase are amazing! Obviously this peel isn't going to be as good as one you'd get from a professional – they put a numbing agent in the peel so its not painful and can be left on longer. You're not going to experience actually peeling of your skin from this product. But around here a chemical peel is about $300 so I'm going to stick with this cheaper option!msmillie-99

I tried several products that would dry out my face in spots where applied, then a week later I would have fresh breakouts again once the dry spots cleared. When applied this peel does have a very mild/weak burning effect that is like a 1/10 compared to the strong peel I had performed at a medspa which was a 8/10 on burning pain scale. I applied it daily at night for a week. After about a week of applying, I woke up one morning with dry peeling skin in areas on my nose, forehead, chin, and upper cheeks. I decided to give my face a break from the peel for a few days and 2 days later once the dead flaky skin had been exfoliated fully my face was glowing, surface scarring from red areas where prior acne had been was gone, my complexion was more even and the entire patch of maskne on my cheek/jaw area is gone with no former signs of existence. 🙌🏻 This peel is a miracle in a bottle. If you do not like it, most likely it is because you have never had a peel before so do not know what to expect or you didn’t apply it enough consistently to your face to get to the point where the mild peeling of dead skin started to happen. The instructions on the box were a little bit helpful. I was confused with this product because the product name says acne peel so I was thinking that I would like let it dry and then peel it off my face but in the instructions it says apply 1 layer 1-3 times daily. So I just assume you apply it and move on. No rinsing or anything… so that’s what I did. This one does smell but it doesn’t smell while applying it. I guess it did help my acne a little because it was easier to pop my white heads and also, I didn’t see any new pimples. It burned a little the first time I used it but the burned went away a few seconds later. I only applied it once everyday because it did dry my skin. Yeah this works. Just like Paula’s choice does. Just like glossier solution does. I like that this didn’t worsen sensitivity in my skin. I use differin retinol as well at night and used this every other day. I think it does smoothen the bumps but I have to use for a few months probably to evaluate the hyperpigmentation reduction. It’s a little pricy but it’s good I think. Use sparingly if ur using another anti acne product so as to not inflame the skin. I attached a before and after. 3 days apart. The before is my hair up. The after is with my hair down. The rising red bump disappeared looks like so that’s good. The texture is like lotion toner and that kinda threw me off it kind of absorbed into the cotton pad more than my skin and this is already expensive so that kinda threw me off so 4 star instead of 5. I was super skeptical about this product when I first got it. I didn’t think I would see any major results from on it. I’ve been using a customized curology for around a year now and didn’t think anything else would compare! I was so wrong though! I used this in conjunction with my curology using the skin cycling method and saw dramatic results! It not only cleared up the random breakouts I still occasionally get, but it majorly improved the texture of my skin. For the first time I feel like I actually have glowy looking skin. I did forget to use the pore remedy for a few days and could see a big difference after using it consistently for 2 weeks and then not using it but still continuing with the rest of my normal routine. This stuff is absolutely incredible! I have super dry skin and I use this about twice a week. It makes my skin feel fresh and new without having to use a harsh exfoliant. I've also noticed my pores have been looking amazing since I started using this. I also don't have anymore clogged pores on my nose which was always my biggest pet peeve. I will say I'm not a fan of using this product by applying it to a cotton ball or cotton around. I prefer just to take my clean hands and add a couple drops on each area of my face and rub it in that way. After I wash my face of course. I only recommend this to absolutely anyone that's looking for a good exfoliate that's also hydrating and not harsh at all in the skin. This kit came with a peel prep to prep the skin, the glycolic acid, a neutralizer to stop the acid from penetrating the skin and then a hyaluronic serum to help heal and sooth the skin afterwards. I have combination skin and glycolic was recommended to me to reduce pores and fine lines and since this peel only had my skin light flaking and not huge peeling pieces I've repeated it every 2-3 weeks. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin and I notice such a difference I find myself leaving the house without any makeup on! Love it and will definitely buy again, the only downfall is I used the serum all up since it can be applied multiple times daily so I need to buy some extras.chekitowt954

My go-to peel pads have always been the Peter Thomas Roth ones so I was pleasantly surprised to see Sephora come out with their own version the last time I went in. And these are good. Really, really good. When I first used them, I was a little underwhelmed at how "dry" they seemed but overtime, I learned to smooth these over my face for longer than other peels pads. I really think Sephora got the amount of saturation just right with these. It almost seems to be the smarter option, as I'm paying far less for the right amount of product and the pad is dry when I'm done, rather than far more for a peel pad that I'll throw away with a considerable amount of the solution and is still wet. Due to the drier nature, these are also almost like a combo of a physical and chemical exfoliant, as you rub it over your face for longer to get the most out of the peel pad, the solution works in tandem with the material to get your skin to feel just as clean as the others. I'll even forgo my toner sometimes because I feel these do the better job while still being gentle enough to use twice a day, if I want. Overall, for the price and formula, these are so worth it, even to only try. It definitely took longer to see the same amount of results as with other peel pads, but the natural ingredients ensure me that my skin won't get used to the stronger formulas of other pads so that I can continue to use those as a backup if my skin just won't cooperate.jackiejokester
I truly like these Glow Peel pads. My face feels so clean after I use them I use one in the morning and one at night. You can tell it gets the dead skin and extra lotions and water else off of your face because you will see it on the pad as I showed everyone mine. That’s really how much I had today but different days different amounts of oil and sometimes make up etc. i love the glow peels and I will continue to buy them until or if their discontinued they make my face feel so clean without having to worry about it breaking out! These pads are awesome! My skin is normal/combination depending on the season and I’ve never had acne or bad breakouts; just one or two small pimples during my period. I used a facial oil that made me breakout on my cheeks and forehead plus gave me tiny little bumps all over my forehead. I don’t have sensitive skin so this was surprising and I had no idea what to do so I gave these a try. My breakout was clear within a few days and the tiny bumps are gone. After the breakout pimples cleared there were a couple dark spots that I was worried about but I kept using these and the dark spots are almost completely gone. I’ve only been using them for a little less than two weeks and I’m really impressed with the results. These worked so quickly to clear my breakout and didn’t have any negative effects on areas where my skin is a little drier; if anything my skin feels more balanced overall. I’ve used other much more expensive peels but these seem to work a lot better. I’ve been using them twice a day and might cut back to every other day now that my skin has cleared up, but I’m definitely going to continue buying these.jennalexa

this mandelic acid for chemical peel makes the biggest difference for me here. A friend of mine was using it and let me try. I am using it to address my whiteheads and larger pores. I never had many blackheads in the first place. I believe whiteheads turn to black ones. The peel slowly cleaned my whiteheads but I did not want to use it too strong. I followed the instructions for the final solution I used finally. I don't want it to be too strong for my first time. Now that I have experienced it, I can increase its strength as needed. This is an effective product. I began to see a slothing after several days. I used a cotton gauze, applied thin layer horizontally across face and then vertically waited approximately 1-2 minutes and rinsed with cold water. I followed with Hydraulic acid. I by no means have the best consistant skin care regimen but I did make sure I used the Hydraulic serum twice a day sometimes I would use an additional night cream with it. Please be careful I did give myself small chemical burns, 1 was where a zit wasn't healed enough apparently and just another small spot on my chin for no apparent reason so I guess just a sensitive area. It didn't hurt just had another ugly spot until healed. So yes this is strong and effective, I like the result of lighter look to my age spot/ unevenness so far and skin is brighter already. This is actually the second bottle of the stuff that I have purchase. That is how much I love the stuff I actually bought a second bottle. When I first got it it took me awhile to use it. I was a bit intimidated at first because of the instructions and I had never done or used any kind of chemical peel before. So fast forward to about two weeks after I get the first bottle. To me sitting at my vanity with a bowl of baking soda and water, a timer, and my bottle of Divine Alpha hydroxy acid skin Rejuvenation therapy. I reread the instructions just to make sure that I don't do anything I shouldn't do and I decide I'm going to test a very small area on the bottom of my jaw. I dab a little bit on and wait two minutes. I'm not feeling any pain so I went one more minute. Then I wipe it off with plain water. I decided to wait about half an hour before I made a decision. About a half an hour later, since I did not have any discomfort, I decided to test a little bit larger of an area. I applied about a 50-cent piece size on my cheek and jaw. I waited 3 minutes and wiped it off with plain water. I did not experience any discomfort or any burning sensation so I decided I would do my whole face and neck. The results were RIDICULOUS! It made my face look softer, cleaner, brighter!I wondered why I was so worried LOL. No seriously the instructions are scary, and I definitely recommend that you read all the instructions twice and follow them closely to make sure you do everything right. Even though it is SUPER EASY, and very fast. At first I did not really notice any wrinkle reduction, but I've used it for quite some time now and it really does make a difference in the wrinkles as well.
