This exfoliant helps me fight against milia. Moreover, it helps clear pores, smooth fine wrinkles, and improve skin tone. I apply it at night and wash my face in the morning. The scent is not very pleasant, but it fades away after a while. I would suggest applying it 30m before going to bed so your pillowcase won't get dirty. It doesn't irritate my skin nor dries it out. Hence, I even don't apply moisturizer after it. I use it twice or once a week depending on how oily my skin is. Also, I like to use it when I have breakouts around my chin. Ok. So I had two really bad scars from my belly button piercing that I took out many years ago. I'm 2017 I got scar removal surgery and it did nothing basically besides make my it a tiny bit less noticeable. Last year I spent over $1,000 on fraxel laser to remove it.. once again this helped the appearance slightly. However my scars were still dark and noticeable. I tried every scar removal gel and even one from a surgeons office, but nothing really helped. I finally decided to purchase this not thinking it would do anything. I received this product complimentary for reviewing purposes. I’m not a stranger to chemical exfoliation; AHA, BHA, and retinol are regular parts of my skincare regimen. I also typically use a higher percentage AHA treatment once every week or so. All of this is say: I thought this would like one of those. I was wrong. The application itself is not very beginner-friendly, as the product has a very intense alcohol scent. I found myself coughing each time I inhaled during application. It’s also very uncomfortable, but luckily that feeling subsides after the first minute or so. Immediately afterwards, my skin feels tighter and drier (and my skin is already fairly dry.) The days following, my skin peels and flakes off, not unlike the first time I tried retinol. However, about six days after the peel, my skin is noticeably nicer. The texture smooths out considerably and my forehead looks almost glassy. It’s quite nice. Of course, I stop all other exfoliation three days before and after, stay hydrated and moisturized, and wear sunscreen during the daylight hours. I’m very pleased with this peel, but I’m not sure if I would have stuck with it if I wasn’t already used to chemical exfoliation; the scent, the discomfort, and the peeling for days afterwards could deter someone less experienced.jessica.c
This has help clear my skin well. For the pass two years, I struggle with really bad acne, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots. Thanks to this, it has improve my skin. My face looks more clean, healthy, glowing and most importantly clear from acne. I went through 2 peels (which is about a month) and so far everything is good. I completed the first vial of blue brilliance a week ago. I had peeling from day 4-7 and my skin looks brighter. I’m looking forward to completing the 2nd vial in about a week. Skin type: In between oily and normal (naturally), normal when consistently using retionid gels (Tretinoin gel, Adapalene gel) My brown skin is prone to dyspigmentation from inflammation, acne, injury and sunlight exposure. It’s not prone to hyperpigmentation from products tho (except in very rare cases) It also sometimes gets duller looking than usual in the winter. This stuff is a dream. Greatest ADJUNCTIVE OTC product I’ve ever used for lightening darkened skin, instantly giving me a brighter complexion, making my warm/golden undertones pop (more vivid color) and maintaining the flawless even tone I was chasing. Using this all over my face along with hydroquinone (2%-4%) cream as a spot treatment this will quickly fade the darkened spots/sections. If you use other chemical (acid, enzyme) exfoliants and/or strong retinoids (tret, taz, adapalene) you’ll probably get velvety skin that’s smoother and softer the touch. It also gets more supple and bouncy even though I’m still in my 20s and thus have a lot of bounce & smoothness to my skin already. I have been using a stabilized, ph <3, properly packaged ascorbic acid serum for years. It’s my holy grail for brightening but since my skin is resilient I can put it on after using this. These two products are the DREAM TEAM for giving my face the radiance I’ve always wanted I use this on my face for up to 20 minutes (my own dermatologist said this was fine for me considering how my skin reacts to stronger in office chemical peels) and for 7-10 minutes on my neck. When I go over the ten minute recommendation & use it for 15+ minutes on my face I get enhanced results. No irritation, no adverse effects, instant gratification and long term gratification. So I'm 34 and have had adult acne for 10 years. A few months ago I finally discovered my perfect routine and I thought I'd share it with anyone who might resonate. I realized I can't layer products and my skin needs more simplicity. That's when everything cleared. It involves some OT products one of them being this amazing AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peel but some are not. Here it is: PM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne prone skin/scars : 1)Wash face with CeraVe Foaming Cleanser (rinse off with warm water and washcloth) 2)Wipe off any remaining makeup with a cotton pad + Bioderma Sensibio micellar water . It helps prevent damage by harsh tap water. 3)Moisturise with The Ordinary pure Rosehip oil. *3 times a week (instead of Rosehip Oil ) use The Ordinary Mandelic Acid+HA (Moisturises while gently exfoliating over time). Once every 2 weeks: The Ordinary AHA/BHA peeling mask for 10mins. AM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne-prone skin/scars 1) Wrap an Ice cube in thin cloth (like gauze) and massage your face with it for 1 min (then towel dry) 2) Wipe face with Bioderma Sensibio micellar water + a cotton pad 2) Five mins Face lifting massage with The Ordinary Rosehip oil. If you don’t want to leave the oil on afterwards, pad the face dry with a cotton pad. I ordered my second bottle of this mask back in May, and just finished the bottle now. I've been using this as a weekly exfoliating mask, but it is not my favorite one I have ever used. It is at a pretty good price point – and I first bought this as a way to start exfoliating at home instead of just when I had the time for a facial (it was recommended to me by a friend with similar skin: sensitive, with rosacea). After finishing my first bottle; I then tried the Sunday Riley good genes (used as a rinse off 10-min mask) and PTR pumpkin enzyme exfoliating mask. I then bought this again to compare and contrast. As far as price; it is obviously the cheapest and a great option for someone on a budget. As far as how well it works; I first got this because at the time I had just cleared up a few months worth of hormonal acne (I am not acne prone, this was my first bout with acne and I did not know how to care for it, so I was left with quite a bit of PIH). I read about how the use of exfoliating can be helpful for healing PIH. In all honesty, out of the three exfoliant masks I've used, this has faded my acne scars the most – but – it triggers my rosacea – whereas the SR and PTR I could use on my whole face without causing my rosacea to go nuts. So, I started only using this on my chin and jaw, but it would still manage to affect the rosacea patches on my cheeks and part of my neck. Since I have faded my acne scars to the point that I want to stop using an 'intense' mask 1-2x's a week, I don't have plans to purchase this again – as it did what I needed it to do. If you want to fade acne scars- I definitely recommend this product (but definitely include the use of sunscreen in the morning) but – if you have rosacea, be wary because every time I used it – I had a reaction. I recently received a 3-treatment-sample in my birthday complimentary gift bag and tried the peel, trusting the Dr. Dennis Gross brand. The peel comes in 2 steps and seems to do the job: as I applied and massaged the two wipes I felt a little tingling sensation, meaning that the product was working. Having sensitive skin and being the first time I had tried this peel, right after the treatment I sprayed a good amount of thermal spring water on my face, let it soak in and then went with moisturizer. After a few hours from the peeling treatment my skin is smoother in texture, but I can still see some redness in reaction to the product. So, if like me you have sensitive skin, go slowly with this product and maybe wait less than the reccomended 2 minutes between step one and two and definitely don'tuse daily despite the name. I used this product several times once a week. I don't expect much from the effect of this acid peeling, as it is quite clear what acids do to the skin. So I'm basing this review only on my personal impressions, and it is highly subjective. The positive thing about this peeling is that it is convenient to use. Everything is at hand, there are no extra bottles occupying half of the bathroom. It has nice smell. I have sensitive skin, so it definitely burns a bit (which is normal), but it is tolerable. The skin is smooth and nice after using it (just like after any other good acid peeling). The reason why I not sure whether I would rebuy it or not is the pads, which are used to apply the product. They are just not pleasant. I prefer applying products using fingertips, as it causes minimum irritation to my skin. The wipes are quite hard, and too small to hold them in the hand. I guess that they have additional mechanical peeling effect, like Korean pads, for example. The product itself is good, it's that I don't enjoy using it. I really recommend using it if you can tolerate the feeling of the wipe on your skin.Hanna K
I bought the pore perfecting at home kit, which included the 30-day pack of daily peels, pore perfecting serum and clenser. After the whole 30 days, my skin has gone from decently looking with my biggest concern being large pores and blackheads on my nose, to fully covered in red spots and painful pimples/whiteheads everywhere. After the first week, my skin was amazing, smooth and soft and I could see the pores becoming smaller. Then, after about 10 days I started breaking out on my forehead, chin and jaw. It was bad to the point of preferring to stay in ratehr going out to avoid people seeing it. 2/3 weeks in, I could see it starting to clear again and the pimples were slowly starting to go away, and I was considering buying again. But then, a few days before the end of the pack, my whole face started to get covered in painful bumps, whiteheads and rashes, much worse than before. Now I'm left with really bad, rough skin, and I dont know how to clear it. It definitely worsened my overall complexion, and for the price of the pack, I was hoping for at least no improvement at all rather than this horror show I'm left with. Very disappointedAlice

I received GOOPGLOW 5 Percent Glycol Acid Overnight Glow Peel–Light complimentary from GOOPGLOW in exchange for my honest opinion. Let's start with the good stuff. The biggest thing for me is that, because this product contains only 5 p/c glycolic acid, it is a much lighter, less irritating version of GOOPGLOW's similar product that has 15. That makes it a perfect way to enter the world of acid peels and chemical exfoliation without fear of burning your face off! Those of us with sensitive skin have to worry about stronger products causing painful damage, and then having to try to soothe the burn and cover the redness for days afterwards. There was no redness, no damage, no discomfort for me with this stuff. Maybe–MAYBE–a slight tingle at application, but that was it. Another great thing is how easy it is to use this product. Two-sided pads come presoaked with product, so all you have to do is open an envelope, remove the pad, slip your fingers inside it and glide the pad across your face, neck, and chest. Wait 15 minutes to apply your night moisturizer (skip other treatments) and go to bed. The product dries into your skin, so there's no mess on your sheets. I don't have any criticism of this product, though I would caution against expecting big immediate results. I had hoped to see beautiful glowy skin the following morning, but didn't really notice much difference. I do exfoliate pretty regularly using other chemical exfoliants, so maybe there was less dead, dull skin to remove in the first place. I can't say I was disappointed because I know it takes time for results to appear with virtually any skin care product, but don't think this product will change your life overnight. And since the recommended frequency of use is once or twice a week, it could take a while to see results. I would have to use this product for a lot longer to know if it is something I recommend. Ive been using a 7% glycolic product once a week for a few years now. I received a sample of the Goop 15% product with a Goop purchase I made. I have sensitive skin that reacts quickly to a product it does not like and leans toward dry if not highly moisturized regularly. I was hesitant to try a higher percentage glycolic product, but also very interested. I ran a test on my neck and had no issues, so I decided to try it on my face. I had little to no tingling and my skin immediately started to glow. I woke up to soft, smooth, glowing skin just as advertised. I was so pleased with the results I decided to purchase a box. I'm currently on week two with the 1x/ week 15% and the results remain the same beautiful effect so far. Finally, I found my perfect AHA exfoliant. The goop glow microdermabrasion is gentle but extremely effective. I’ve been using it since January, seen much more changes in my skin. I had been wanting to try this skincare line for a while now and finally was able to. It’s actually very gentle but yet effective. I seen immediate results just after one use. It’s not harsh or irritating whatsoever. I believe this could be for all skin types even for sensitive skin. It left my skin so clean, bright, soft, and my pores were so much smaller. It was as if I had new skin. It didn’t leave my skin oily, no greasy residue, no dry patches, nor did my skin get oily later on. I am so impressed with this that I’m switching up my whole skincare regimen. Because I have yet to really actually find products that work or that just work well with each other. I feel as if I use so many different products from so many different brands that I may not be getting the actual full effect or even using products that actually target my skincare issues in general. Plus, some products don’t go good together, they pill or they don’t really help to apply makeup nicely. Some background first, I have super oily skin and I have been looking for a good gentle exfoliating product that helps wipe off the day from my face yet be mild enough as I use retinol at night ( makes my skin sensitive as I am just starting to use it). This product pretty much hits the spot in every way. Love the texture, the grittiness, the mild scent and the mask experience overall. I can massage the gritty texture while removing and my recently sensitive skin tolerated it pretty well. It left my skin feeling fresh, clean and dewy! I appreciate that this peel mask combines chemical and physical exfoliation into one product for a more comprehensive and effective resurfacing experience. This duo leaves my skin so soft and smooth. Any rough texture is evened out and any flakiness is sloughed away from the first use. This mask's consistency is similar to a whipped mousse and its scent is subtle and reminiscent of berries. During the five minutes that I leave it on, I feel a tingling sensation that lets me know the chemical exfoliation from the acid blend is kicking in. Love the natura bissé peel mask, it really works instantly, after cleansing I put this gel peel on for around 15mins then use a sponge to remove, straight after I use my usual Toner, serum and face cream or oil. Don't be scared off by the words "extreme peel". You won't burn your face with this gentle yet effective peel. Before reading about it and trying a sample, I was afraid it would be too much for my mature skin. However, it self-neutralizes, so it won't burn you. I've used this now many times and have never had any irritation. Although it seems pricey, you only use a few drops each time and it lasts a very long time. I use it once a week. I was a bit worried about this product at first, especially after reading some other reviews, however I decided it was worth a go and it was one of the best skincare decisions I’ve made! I’ve used it twice now (once weekly for 10mins) and it’s almost completely cleared up my skin, aside from a few acne scars which will probably need a bit longer. I’ve been using this alongside other products from Revolution, including their cleanser, hydrating serum, and SPF moisturiser, and it’s done wonders for my skin. I've always had good luck with glycolic acid products on my face. I currently use a glycolic toner. This peel is thick, with the consistency of a serum. You simple put a few drops on a cotton round and apply to the face (I also did my neck and decolletage). It dries almost instantly. I left it on for 5 minutes and then rinsed. I didn't experience any irritation, so I did a second round. (You can do up to 5 rounds at a time). That time a couple of spots began to burn, so I didn't do another layer. Afterwards my skin was SO soft and smooth, I couldn't believe it. I glowed the way I do after a professional Dermal Infusion. I then applied my normal products and went to bed. In the morning, I woke up to very oily skin, but I washed it and then it was fine. I'm really in love with this terrific product.JJL
This is hands down the best product I have ever used for not only my acne but also my dark spots. As a black woman with a stressful job, I got a lot of stress acne this year due to the pandemic. After I started using this and the 20% salicylic acid peel on my face from this same company, my skin changed drastically. I have been using this product twice a week or once a week depending on my skins sensitivity and the 20% once a week or every two weeks and my skin is dramatically different. I love their soothing gel mask and their hydra repair moisturizer with a specialized facial oil after treatments. I also use their facial cleanser prior to the peel as advertised and I apply the peel with a nice fan brush. I only keep it on for a minute and a half. I’m blown away and hooked on these products. This is a lifesaver. Please never discontinue these miracle products. They were better than my expensive murad line which costed me nearly 400$ and broke me out badly . Love your brand!Fallon
This is a soft, 10% glycolic acid peel. Soft in that it is rinsed off after a few minutes of initial application. Product comes in a small, clear glass bottle containing a clear and thick serum like substance and has an eye dropper dispenser to apply the peel to a cotton pad or ball after which it is incorporated onto the face. If you have fair, sensitive skin its best to start off using a light portion of serum and wearing it for just a couple of minutes before rinsing off. Since becoming thirty I have noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin and my pores have become more visible. On my first use of the Tri Acid Peel couldn't believe the difference it made to my skin, it was so smooth. I didn't realise I could get the look of glass like skin with the use of one product. I bought this in whim as i usually use elemis papa E face exfoliator. So glad i took the plunge, used this for the first time today and this gives instant results. Brighter, luminous hydrated skin. I have used elemis for the last 5years consisting of: elemis pro collagen cleansing balm/ginger tonic toner, pro collagen marine cream/eye cream and the peptide plumping pillow facial mask. All products deliver amazing results no lines wrinkes, blemish or breakouts just luminous skin. Alittle goes along way although some of the creams..etc are not cheap wont use anything else. This was my first time trying a peel like this. I was a little nervous but I am obsessed with the results. I experienced a really nice cooling sensation with no burning, tingling or redness. The cooling lasted just a couple of minutes. I rinsed with warm water after 15 and followed with a moisturizer. In the morning I noticed how soft my skin felt and the lines on my forehead were less noticable. I cannot recommend this peel enough! I was a little bit skeptical when I got this in my glam bag x this month. After trying it I can report that I absolutely love this peel. It’s extremely gentle yet very effective. It has a very light scent. I applied it and it started working with foaming bubbles and a light tingle. I left it on for 15 minutes and it dried to leave a beautiful gold leaf looking mask. It wiped off with no effort at all with a warm washcloth leaving a gorgeous glow on my skin. The best part about this were the instant results without irritating my skin. My skin can be somewhat sensitive. I love when I get a surprise product that works wonders that I never knew about. I also love that it’s made in the USA. With most products being made in China it’s getting harder to find items made in the states. Probably one of my favorite “bubbling foaming masks” I have ever tried. I got this one through IPSY and loved it. You do around 8 pumps and spread evenly over the entire face and neck. You have to move quickly as it does begin working immediately. Within seconds your pores will be bubbling with the golden peel mask. To me it’s more of a bubbling oxygen peel than a illuminating peel. The only downside is there are no instructions on the packaging. I had to look it up online. Once the bubbling stops after a few minutes simply rinse off and pat your face dry. I would highly recommend.christopher.v
Dude this thing is like tin man level shiny gold on your face and immediately after dispensing it bubbles all over you face for a minute and then goes back to gold tin man!
