I was chosen to test & review this product as part of the superdrug community. As a dental hygiene & whitening enthusiast I was happy to try this product. I have previously had whitening treatments but I am a tea lover, so therefore staining often returns to my teeth very quickly. I used the whitening strips as directed on the box. I left in place for 30 minutes upon first use. I usually struggle to leave whitening strips on my teeth for the directed amount of time, as I struggle with sensitive teeth when whitening, but I was pleasantly surprised with this product that it did not occur. Things I like about this product; *No sensitivity whilst using or post use. *No bleeding of gums, sensitive gums or sensitive teeth – a common side effect of whitening products, I was pleasantly surprised that none of these occurred. *Easy to put in place. *Teeth appear instantly less stained and brighter – I imagine upon more use the results would only get better. *Travel friendly, due to small packaging and each strip being easy to fit in your makeup/wash bag. *No bitter taste. *All HiSmile products are 100% vegan & cruelty free! – HiSmile state ‘We use ethically sourced Glycerin that is certified by the RSPO to ensure no deforestation has occurred to produce it’. I received this product as a member of the community. I have tried teeth whitening products a few times, and found they whitened my teeth for only a few hours after using (which is fine for an event or a night out). I found that these did the same. I am not sure if you would have to use them over a period of time for the whiteness to last longer and come through stronger, but I did see my teeth look whiter (only by a shade or two) straight after using but the effects seemed to dimmish after a few hours. They make work a lot better if your teeth are really discoloured – but it may take a few goes with this product to see a colour difference. You get 14 applications (28 in total, a set for the top and a set for the bottom), which I think is fantastic value. I for some reason presumed you would only get a single application, or a few at most, as this is what I commonly see with other teeth whitening strips on the market. They were really easy to apply (they say you have to apply to 'dry' teeth, so I just wiped my teeth with a towel and applied). They covered my teeth well on both top and bottom and sat in my mouth really comfortably. They didn't come off through the entire 30 minutes in which you are supposed to leave them on. I did find them kind of hard to remove as they were so stuck (which I guess is a good thing!). It doesn't say you have to brush your teeth afterwards, but I just used a wet toothbrush to remove the rest of the teeth whitening solution once I took off the strips. There wasn't a lot of residue like there is with other teeth whitening products, which made me wonder how effective they had been. The taste is a slight peppermint taste – kind of sweet. Some teeth whitening products taste horrible, but these didn't at all. The result was slight, but I think at the end of using all of the patches, my teeth could look very white, but I will have to give them a go and wait and see. Hismile Pap+ Strips A pretty pink cardboard box holds 14 individually wrapped strips for the upper and lower teeth. (28 in total). The advantage is the fact that we can take them even on a trip, because they take up very little space. They are very simple to use. Peel off the long strip and apply sticky side to top teeth. Press strip down firmly and fold over back of teeth to secure. Repeat for short strip on bottom teeth Keep them for 30 minutes. Remember to dry your teeth, e.g. with a towel. The strips stick well to the teeth, do not run down and are able to cover all front teeth. They have a delicate, mint flavour that is very pleasant. The manufacturer promises that by applying them we will not experience tooth sensitivity. I confirm that if you have sensitive teeth, you don't have to worry when using them. The hypersensitivity effect did not occur in my case, even though I usually have teeth that are susceptible to various weakening factors. After a few applications, the teeth are definitely a bit whiter, I am satisfied with the effect. I still have a kill to finish the treatment, I think the effect will be very good. The process is simple and the gel had no certain flavor. However, after charging the lighted mouthpiece as directed, it would not stay on for more than 5 seconds. I tried numerous pattern variations when pressing the power button and for different lengths of time resulting in unpredictable light functioning. Furthermore, the device never beeped even at its longest working time. Also, the charging port/box/container lacks a way to verify if mouthpiece is actively charging. The whole mechanism thing is a pain not end up cranking more gel and wasting it. I get maybe three applications out of one cranking device. I would say just put it in a tube that you can squeeze out. The first second I put the dissolvable strips I had instant irritation and the spot that touched my gums got white. I called to return them it was so complicated I didn't have the time to stay on the phone. I have been using a competitors teeth whitening system for the past few years. Their vials were so difficult to use, it was impossible to get all the gel out of these pods. Eventually, I had to disassemble and use a small brush to get gel. There was loads of gel that prior to my manipulating threw out because I was unable the gel. Spent so much money and time trying to obtain the needed gel I needed. I love SNOW! I have seen the results already after a few uses and much whiter than my former teeth whitening. I’ve used whitening strips twice in years past. there was some difference but probably only to me because they’re MY teeth. When I was a kid I never got braces even though I was one person that SHOULD have. I was of course skeptical about buying a teeth whitening kit, but thought I was a bit desperate. My teeth used to be white with little to no problems at all, but in my mid 20's I injured my back and was put on pain killers. Then fast forward 15 years I find out that am not only am I A, B, B12, C, and of course D deficiencant. Also with calcium deficiency. On top of that I am still on pain killers for my back and now fibromyalgia. But I digress. All of that was ruining my teeth to no ends. Hence the desperation. Wow, the before and after even shocked me and I'm still in disbelief. My daughter's boyfriend stays at our house throughout the week and just recently turned twenty one. The directions were easy enough to understand and I placed both strips on my upper/lower teeth and set a timer. Once it hit an hour, I immediately applied the light. The whitestrips were comfortable to keep on and so was the LED light. The strips were a bit difficult to remove but not that much. After the first application, I felt some pain/sensitivity in my teeth and that continued for a day. I took one over the counter painkiller and that helped a lot. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use them again but I read in another review that someone recommended drinking water right before to wet the teeth a bit, so after a couple of days, I tried them again. This time I had no sensitivity and that was the result as well for my following applications. I did notice a marked difference in my teeth after the 3rd application. Personally, I don’t like using these every day – just to ensure that I don’t have that sensitivity again, though the water trick seemed to work. Also, they’re a bit of a pain in terms of planning when to use them – ie not too close to brushing teeth or drinking coffee. I recently had covid so I do not have taste to be able to explain the taste. My mouth feels like it is minty when using. But i can not taste it. I did brush my teeth with my regular toothpaste then used this one. I can feel the difference in texture. My regular toothpaste seemed smooth and kind of slimy. This one feels like it is actually cleaning my teeth. I definitely felt a difference between my old toothpaste and this one. I did not feel as clean with my old paste. Moving forward, i plan on buying this toothpaste again. I especially want to be able to have that fresh flavor that I was so used to in the past. Hopefully my taste comes back soon so I can get the full effect of this toothpaste. So far…i do like it. I did feel my mouth cleaner. I'm not 100% sure I see a difference, but I also know that my teeth are not usually receptive to whitening. I've tried many whitening products in the past with no result, so I wasn't expecting anything special. Perhaps I have one shade brighter. I will say this is the least messy of the whitening products I've tried and I do like how easy the pen is to use. It's discreet and I LOVE that it dries in a thin layer and you don't even know it's on your teeth. You have to be careful because any amount that your teeth are wet, the product will kind of bunch up and not try right. In the morning, it will have fallen off/you'll have swallowed it. The remaining bunched-up whitener is extremely hard to brush off your teeth and I ended up having to pick it off with my fingernails. But if your teeth are super dry when you apply it, you're good to go. There's absolutely no taste as well which I appreciate. It's a good product and while it didn't work for me, I think others might find success with it.
I’m very happy with the performance of this pen. I’ve tried many brands/versions of strips that have left me feeling disappointed when they were completed. I drink a lot of coffee and smoked for many years causing my teeth to yellow and my two top front teeth to take on a brownish color, one a bit darker than the other. My first two nights I applied it to all my front teeth and actually noticed as much difference as most of the completed 2 week strip treatment packages I’d tried before. The next couple nights I just applied to the two more discolored teeth. At the end of 4 nights, my teeth were whiter than they had been in years. The coloration is much more even overall since I was able to customize application to where it was needed most. Easy to use. Make sure to apply to dry teeth to get good coating. Wow, the before and after even shocked me and I'm still in disbelief. My daughter's boyfriend stays at our house throughout the week and just recently turned twenty one. He really wanted to whiten his teeth so I told him about this kit and he really wanted to try it. Since it comes with twenty eight strips that are individually wrapped which equals fourteen treatments and two per foil I didn't mind sharing. This was his first time whitening and using an at home kit. He liked how convenient it was while allowing him to be comfortable during the hour wear time. He did chores and the time flew by plus it didn't budge and felt lightweight. No irritation and easily came off with no nasty residue left over. The results are amazing and the color change was noticeable especially being he only did one set on his top and bottom teeth. The directions were easy enough to understand and I placed both strips on my upper/lower teeth and set a timer. Once it hit an hour, I immediately applied the light. The whitestrips were comfortable to keep on and so was the LED light. The strips were a bit difficult to remove but not that much. After the first application, I felt some pain/sensitivity in my teeth and that continued for a day. I took one over the counter painkiller and that helped a lot. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use them again but I read in another review that someone recommended drinking water right before to wet the teeth a bit, so after a couple of days, I tried them again. This time I had no sensitivity and that was the result as well for my following applications. I did notice a marked difference in my teeth after the 3rd application. Personally, I don’t like using these every day – just to ensure that I don’t have that sensitivity again, though the water trick seemed to work. Also, they’re a bit of a pain in terms of planning when to use them – ie not too close to brushing teeth or drinking coffee. I agree with several other customers who complained about SmileActives posting only the positive, glowing reviews on their website. It shows this company's blatant dishonesty and their need to hide their customers' concerns. I'm writing this after 2 weeks of constant use of this product. First, I followed the brief usage directions exactly as written. Curiously, there was no box and no expiration date of the can of gel. And I want to point out that I used my usual whitening toothpaste along with this gel. What I ended up with was a lot of foam in my mouth but no whitening of my teeth. All I tasted after brushing was the stale flavor of peroxide. The gel had totally obliterated the fresh mint taste of my own toothpaste. But, the most alarming thing about this product, for me. was that it dried out the inside of my mouth so bad that I would wake up during the night not being able to swallow. In addition to that, my gums started to feel irritated. When I contacted the company, I received no response. I guess if you don't send positive glowing messages, they delete yours.
First of all, it's useless! No change in the color of my teeth, and burns my gums when I apply it. Second, once you cancel the subscription, they will stop sending you the product but CONTINUE CHARGING YOUR ACCOUNT. It's legal theft! This whitening product is great, and the toothbrush is everything. Do not apply too much if you are putting this in your teeth whitening trays or you will experience burning of the gums (you are NOT supposed to put this product in your teeth whitening trays) but I do…..I have gotten the results in 1 day that I would have gotten in maybe a month. This is honestly the best at home teeth whitening product I’ve ever tried, and trust me I’ve tried soooo many. Crest whitening strips literally hurt my teeth so bad I would get pangs from them, but with this there’s no sensitivity at all!! I’ve also used whitening gel given directly from the dentists office, and I can honestly say that this is the equivalent of a professional grade whitening gel, but for like half the price. For people saying they saw no results, unfortunately, that probably means their teeth are just naturally unable to whiten, or don’t whiten very easily. I’ve looked into getting me teeth professionally done with a laser, and the dentist cautions you that even with this treatment in office, some people may see no difference at all, and that that everyone’s teeth react differently to the whitener. It’s for this reason I decided not to get it done in office, since the treatment can be hundreds of dollars, and there’s no guarantee that your teeth will take to whitening. So, people not seeing results, it is most likely due to their genetics and properties of their teeth rather than with the effectiveness of the product. Since it’s so inexpensive compared to most other whitening treatments, I definitely think it’s worth the try to see if it works for you!! It worked great for me, and I will continue to purchase this!
I was skeptical when I was purchasing this product, but after several uses, it works! I did notice my teeth get noticeably whiter. I do have to mention that my teeth were somewhat white to begin with and it just needed a little shine. I recommended this product to a family member and they loved it too, but please be sure to check with your dentist before purchasing as your teeth might be more sensitive than others. The only minor frustration I have is that it takes 30 minutes and you have to keep the mouthpiece on for that amount of time to be effective. Try to keep your face in a front facing position to reduce the amount of saliva build-up. The amount of gel they provide is more than enough for a 7 day treatment. It can be a little pricey, but well worth it for me. I am sure there are cheaper alternatives out there.
This product works well and is easy to use. My teeth are noticably whiter. The mouth guard is perfect and fit nicely. On the other hand the charging and battery life is terrible. The attempt to be like an apple watch is silly just make it usb or battery replacable. I only get one 30 min use per charge, so if i use it then my wife in have to wait and charge the unit. I emailed dale and just sent our 9th correspondence ensuing that i know how to charge it right.
