This bike is one of the best investments we've made. It performs flawlessly and there is plenty of versatility whereas we no longer need a gym membership. The price point was perfect the membership price is certainly worth it. Therefore, I would highly recommend this piece of equipment in your gym. However, we bought Echelon shoes and just over 30 days later my Velcro broke. Since it was after 30 days later I could not return them. We had other dealings with customer service in the months just after buying the bike. The customer service leaves much to be desired as far as buying accessories from the company. They are a third-party and getting a hold of the corporate seems to be near impossible. I still gave the five star review simply because the equipment is outstanding. Just don't buy accessories from their store if you need to return them it is quite a process.
I absolutely LOVE this bike and the community that rides it. I bought my bike (Costco 4S) in February 2021 and today, (11/15/2022) I completed my 1000th workout. I have over 800 rides and almost 200 Fitpass classes completed. The variety of classes makes it possible for me to ride either a live or on-demand ride every day, whether I feel like riding 75 minutes or want to take it easy with a 20 minute low impact ride. The instructors are exceptional. While I have never met any of them personally, they project warmth and compassion, and make me, the rider feel like I am important to them. The feeling I get from them is that this is more than just a job, it is really their passion and they care about us, their riders. The variety of Facebook groups specific to Echelon are numerous and there is something for everyone. When I had an issue with the attached tablet not allowing me to log in, I sent a Facebook message to Echelon and within 5 minutes I had a message back with instructions how to reset the tablet. Ok people this is not a shirt you can stuff back in the bag and return to QVC. The thing took my husband 2 hours to put together and it weighs a ton. So here are the details to assist. Full disclosure I'm a 5'4 fat lady (working on changing the fat part, hence the bike.) So I had been using the x-bike and wanted to level up for a sturdy bike that I could do standing cycle jogging out of the saddle. I'd been using the fancy bike app with my x-bike so and didn't want to spend the extra on a bike with the attached monitor. Like I need another screen in my house??? I like using the bike with my Ipad so I can take any class, you tube, peloton app or just netflix and spin so this seemed to be the ticket. Ok so here's the downfalls: 1- THE SEAT IS A TORTURE DEVICE- this was just not doable for me or my 14 year old son who validated my concern. So no problem, did some research and ordered a new bike seat on amazon, spent an hour or so learning how to change on youtube now comfy seat- check. 2- Configuration IS A SQUEEZE- ok so if you move the HANDLEBARS up they also move outwards from the body, assuming that all riders are super tall that want high handles, they say to raise them high if you are pregnant have back pain or are a beginner, so you better be tall too. Of course, you can move the seat forward to match but then wait my knees are in a funny position, and oh how do I get off this thing? The brake is right on my who-ha while I try to shimee out of this thing. So now I just find myself riding too far up and back to avoid knee pain or who-ha dismount, so feel like I'm bracing for dear life to get to those handle bars way forward. 3. The setting to move up the seat are not very clear and make it difficult to find the right spot again if someone else uses the bike. Wind-up! So with all this you wonder why I still have it. Well, it's a nice bike, I spent about $1000 bucks time and energy getting it set up, and I'm assuming that as I get thin these issues will subside. I bought this bike because I work a ton and can't always get to the gym, where we have top of the line spinning equipment and instructors. I wanted a bike that was either equivalent or very close, so that I could work out at home. I was so thrilled with this bike that I purchased a second for my daughter. The bike is not massive, but, a decent size. It fits in my medium sized NYC apartment (one in the living room and one in the master bedroom). The bike is sturdy, nice looking and really looks like it should cost a lot more that $250. Since I have been spinning for years, I don't need an instructor. Yet, placing the bikes close to my TV and in well air conditioned rooms, certainly helps! The bike has all the same adjustment features as the gym cycles (seat goes up/down/forward back) and handlebars can be raised/lowered. The handlebars are padded. The seat is similar, also – but, as I ride a lot, I like to keep a spin cushioned seat on it (which, I sometimes brought to spin classes with me). While the bike is heavy, it simply transported by tilting and using the attached wheels. Occasionally, the bike can squeak (as other bikes often do), which I quickly resolve with a few drops of oil. The only thing missing from this bike is a water bottle holder. However, my 10 year old son resolved this issue by using tape to hang a plastic bucket from the handrail (where I place my water-bottle)! He also attached a small light weight wire box (with clear mail tape – also to the handrail), where I store my iphone, tv remote or whatever! In fact, he placed a small flat board on the rail for my laptop, and, I am actually typing this review as I happily spin and watch a movie with him~ I hope this is helpful!Melissa
I got this bike on Amazon On sale and it’s pretty great. Super easy to put together – it took me about 45 minutes by myself. The directions are very simple to read and u detests forget also. The bike rides smooth and has many different levels of tension for a more challenging ride. The handle bar and seat are adjustable, although I wish it had more positions as I am short and it doesn’t sit where I’d like it to. The Bike Arrived and I was very excited. I put it together in about and hour total (but I kept being interrupted).Maybe a little more. I like things like that though. I rode it first day, great!, My daughter and I rode it second day (great)! The third day… I'm riding and it starts with a clunk! I stopped and my daugher aske, Mom what was that? I said, I'm not sure adjusted the tention (mind you it has stayed on 3) and was hopeful that, that was the problem… NOPE! So if I use it, it start of the first 30 seconds… whisper quite like before. It gives me hope. And then clunk, clunk, clunk. To the point where I don't want to ride it anymore, because the clunk is so loud that you can feel it in the floor and I'm sure our neighbors are wondering what in the Heck is going on! I would recommend, but only if once I return this thing, and get a replacement, it doesn't clunk. If it does…. then I will have to give it a 1 STAR for the construction of the product.AmbersVibe

I have been spinning on a regular basis (5-6 X per week) for the past 10 years. Got this bike for home after the lockdown so I wouldn't have to be without spin classes. I have to say that this bike is GREAT! I didn't know what to expect and I can recommend this bike without reservation. There are many home cycling apps available so one can use it with any of them (I stream through my TV) It was delivered to my door and it was super easy to put together (comes with everything you need including parts AND tools and clear instructions). I have been doing spinning for 15 years and have wanted an indoor bike for the longest time. I finally committed to the purchase after reading tons of reviews on different belt driven bikes. The package arrived in 8 days without any damage and took about 30 minutes to assemble with help from my 14 year old son. It looks sharp snd the quality is top notch – even better than some of the gym bikes I've ridden. It's also incredibly sturdy during sprints and jumps. I bought a wahoo cadence sensor for my shoe to pair with the Peloton classes and I look forward to doing classes everyday….. even at 5:30 AM. I bought this for the upper body arm bike to continue physical therapy at home. The lower foot bike was a bonus. But I notice the tension sticks in both areas. The lower foot bike can loosen the tension enough for better motion, even though it still feels a bit sticky instead of flowing with smooth motion. The upper arm bike isn't loosening enough to make the stickiness of the motion negligible. I am hoping over time and use that will help. I am reviewing it first day out of the box and put together. I did notice the foot crank and hand crank attachments were both pre-greased and sticky to touch when we put it together. I use this exerciser to regain the strength and stamina I lost during the covid-19 pandemic. I don't have much space, and I was looking for a small unit. It arrived in one large box. Before opening the box, I asked for email instructions to assemble it. Hammacher Schlemmer responded within the hour, and I read the directions a few times before opening the package. My son-in-law helped me complete this, and he also read the instructions in advance. I spread out a quilt and brought the parts into the basement playroom. The nuts/bolts/small pieces were separated and labeled in a molded clear plastic container, so I did not have to deal with many jumbled parts. The unit was easy to put together step-by-step, I found the instructions very clear. Our only mistake was using the wrong washers in the first step, but we quickly corrected that. I tried the exerciser out and could only do 4 minutes! When I went to my health club pre-Covid, I warmed up 20-25 minutes on a stationary recumbent bike before completing the exercise machine circuit and swimming. I am glad I finally purchased this exerciser. It has been three weeks, and I can now do 20 minutes. I don't know if I will ever feel comfortable enough to return to my health club. The product is solid, but arrived slightly damaged (bent metal, holes not lining up, etc ). After multiple attempts to contact support with no response, I finally just fixed the problem myself with a great deal of effort and resorting to some heavy tools. I've got it working fine now, but I am very frustrated with not getting any support. I know there's a pandemic, but someone should have replied to emails, chat attempts or phone call messages! I was looking to upgrade from my previous Sunny Health bike B1002 and I found this. This bike has a 4 way adjustable seat and handle bars, monitor to measure cadence and distance and also has water bottle and dumbell holders. Best of all there dual caged & clip-in pedals. The seat is comfortable-my previous bike seat was hard and uncomfortable even with a seat pad. The only downsides that I have noticed are: #1 The tablet holder is behind the cadence monitor at an angle that partially blocks the view of your tablet and #2 The pulse monitor is not accurate at all-I have a wahoo arm heart rate monitor and a fitbit watch and both show my workout heart rate well above the bike monitor displayed pulse which always read 70-80 no matter where I positioned my hands. The bike overall looks very nice and feels solid. Got a great Black Friday deal and I would definitely recommend this model. Not sure why it's not as or more popular than b1805 or others.Jennifer I.

I liked that the bike has a steel fork so road vibrations are at a minimal I would not want an aluminum fork. I like Steel or Carbon. The tires are excellent. The disk brakes work well no squeaks. I thought the 8 speed was a little too slow. It was easy and inexpensive to upgrade using a Microshift 9 speed shifter, Microshift 9 speed cassette and 9 speed chain, I was happy the rear derailleur did not need to be changed! My bike has a strange squeak cranking steep uphills, also the plastic chain guard had to be ripped off as it is garbage and somehow got it self all chewed up in the front crank. I had to rip it off or be stranded, got a little greasy but that chain guard is not needed and a flaw in it's design for sure. I think it is a good bike for what I payed, but I would not buy a Specialized again. Customer service at the bike shop was excellent, Specialized Customer Service lacking, I would not expect much from them.Jeff S.
I wanted to love this bike; it seems like specialized had me personally in mind when designing this. An entry-level bike of the highest quality; light and fast but ready to bunny hop a curb or bomb a sand trap on an unimproved sidewalk. The chain falls off- Any hard bump, a root, EVERY time I ride off a curb. You jump off a curb when you need to cross a street but suddenly the pedals don't work. $200 microshift advent 9 w/clutch drivetrain fix. The climbing gears work, but even down a long bridge, I can't break 35mph. $50 front sprocket; $75 trials bars. $200 dropper post. I like the stock tires for strictly city riding, but that's not what the X does, and the tubes aren't particularly light or durable. $100 for pirelli and tubolito. Looking at other brands' gravel offerings in the $1400 range, the sirrusX2.0 no longer makes much sense. Based on my experience with the LBS, I will be ordering a bike in a box next time. 400 mile off road update to my previous review. I mounted a 45c WTB Riddler up front and a 45c Rambler on the rear and now ride primarily hardpack trails and smooth single track chasing Strava scores. I live and ride in a very competitive area of Denver where many pros and high level amateur MTB riders train and race. The trails are smooth, twisty and dry; perfect conditions for a flat bar hybrid like the Sirrus X 4.0 that combines gravel bike efficiency with an MTB attack position for aggressive cornering. I've earned three KOMs on this bike, and am sitting at #2 of 3,100 riders on a fast twisty downhill segment. I've earned several top 5% to 10% scores in twisty single track segments of a heavily ridden race course. Did I mention I'm 54 and weigh 190 pounds? Admittedly, this old Clyde is only running at the 60th percentile on climbs, but the Sirrus X is so light and efficient that it makes me look like a decent climber. This bike rocks with good ergos and adequate bottom bracket height for hard pedaling through corners. The geometry is ideal for twisty single track at 15 to 25 mph, and the Future Shock/carbon fork take just enough of the edge off the bumps without robbing any pedalling efficiency or handling precision. The two negatives to this bike are the wheel set and the gearing. The 24/28 spoked wheels are light. but a bit flimsy for a bike touted as a go anywhere type of ride. They require frequent truing if you ride hard. The gearing is a bit of a tweener that is too low for fast road riding, yet it could use one lower gear for steep climbs offroad. Otherwise, I've had no problems with loosening crank arms or any atypical issues. Sure, the shift assembly came loose and the spokes need frequent attention, but that has been my experience with any bike ridden hard and aggressively. I love this bike an I'm having a very hard time convincing myself that I could be faster or more efficient on MTB trails with an Epic Hardtail or Chisel.Highlands Rancher

Just purchased this bike yesterday in part because with Covid supplies of everything are in short supply! Not sure what happened with the other onereview on this bike but ours runs very smoothly and very quietly, no squeaks of any kind. It appears the those with longer legs or very tall, may find this bike not long enough to peddle.The seat is firm, hoping with use it might soften up some. The seat back is 2.4 “ thick and from back of seat to peddle at highest point is 40”, lowest point 42”. So you can check if the bike is long enough for your legs. 2 bolts underneath the frame have to be removed to adjust the seat, unfortunately. This is a simple exerciser, has scan, timer, distance, and calorie counter speed. Will hold phone or small tablet, comes with water bottle holder and tension adjusts with a dial. Includes peddle straps. Simple but can get the job done. Very low in center to step over.Red Poppy
I'm 75 and purchased the Weslo Pursuit Recumbent Exercise Bike and put it together myself with only a bit of help from my grandson. However, I couldn't get the cup holder screws to tighten because the holes in the front post were too small as were the holes for the console digital tracker, so left holder off and console is wobbly but neither affect the exercise capability and I will go to hardware or Wal-Mart store and get smaller screws that fit holes. Also lost 2 larger bolts into the inside where flywheel is located and could not get them out by turning bike upside down. So going to have to go to Wal-Mart store and see if I can find compatible ones. Overall it was simple to put together and l liked that all screws and bolts as well as Allen wrenches were on separate piece of cardboard and were well marked and instruction manual was in English and easy to read. Bike rides really smooth and console is easy to set, even though undoing seat for adjustment is a pain but hoping only have to do that once. Pedaling is easy and resistance knob helps as does console that can be set for distance, timer, calories, etc. Takes up little space so that's a plus. Got it on sale at Walmart so was worth the price and delivery was fast. Would be nice if it had a place to set book or Tablet to read while pedaling as description said it had but I guess you can't have everything.Bonnie
I bought this bike today. Assembly was challenging because holes were not drilled right and had to be re-drilled to align parts. Once fully assembled the screen did not work at all. I was on hold with customer support for over 1 1/2 hours listening to the same repeating, annoying music on hold. There are 2 web addresses supplied with the unit for support but neither works. I have used my NordicTrack S22i Studio Cycle for over a week now, and I am very pleased with it's functionality and the iFIT app. I assembled the bike myself, which took me about an hour, and found the instructions to be thorough and easy to follow. I did run into some initial software issues, and ultimately had to call NordicTrack customer support. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable, and he insisted on remaining on the phone call with me until all of the updates were installed and the bike and software were functioning correctly. Before deciding which brand (NordicTrack vs. Pelaton), and which model I wanted, I scoured through many reviews to come to my decision. I came to the conclusion that, due to the amount of technology associated with these bikes, things can go wrong with any brand and any model. Knowing this, I also knew that I wanted an extended warranty from a reputable company who would back the warranty. Once I had determined specifically which bike I wanted, I shopped it between NordicTrack direct, Best Buy and RC Willey. All of them offered it for the same price, so then I narrowed it down to the warranty. I read reviews on the warranty provided through NordicTrack, and quickly removed them from my list. I don't have any prior experience with Best Buy's Geek Squad, but I have had a very positive experience with RC Willey's extended warranty with a $3,000 refrigerator I purchased through them. Price wise on the 5-year extended warranties, RC Willey is considerably less expensive than the other two and, if you don't use the warranty, they will give you 50% of the price of the warranty back – if you request it just prior to the warranty expiring. BONUS! On top of all of this, NordicTrack and Best Buy were both 2+ weeks to actually receive the bike after purchasing it. With RC Willey, I was able to pick it up the day after purchasing it. I bought this bike to advance my fitness journey. I spent 2.5 hours putting it together. The first bike’s screen was defective and would only stay on 2 minutes max. After troubleshooting with technicians, i was going to need to replace parts. Thats a big no from me… its a new bike. I then requested a replacement bike. Spent about the same amount of time, but was able to sign up for ifit and begin the first wokrout. As soon as it increased resistance the magnetic resistance system would rub against the wheel and spark. I troubleshooted this one as well and found that either magnetic resistance system or some bolts were defective. I am returning the second bike and requesting a refund immediately.Cburge

It wasn't difficult to put the bicycle together, just a little time consuming. We have been using it for about 3 weeks now and it works well. There is only one thing that I believe can be improved and that is the pulleys for the arm exercises. They are not very resistant and there is no mechanism to tighten them. If you are happy to just move your arms this isn't a problem, but if you are looking for strength or toning this is not an option. I purchased Slim Cycle as a last resort. I have badly damaged nerves in my lower back and can't stay upright for more than a few moments without crippling pain. My doctor tells me I have to keep moving or I will become totally incapacitated but I have tried almost every type of physical therapy and exercise available, with no success. However, the slim cycle equipment is everything it promises and I can actually use it successfully without pain. The reclining position and cushioned seat take the pressure off my hips and lower back, and the seat back hits in exactly the correct spot to provide support without forcing an uncomfortable position. The frame is sturdy and remains stable while I'm using the bike. Operation is absolutely silent and I can hold a conversation without raising my voice or watch TV without increasing the volume. My muscles are so deteriorated that it's going to take awhile for me to see any real health or weight benefits but I'm absolutely certain that, if I abandon my new exercise program, it will be because I myself have lost my initiative and not because the bike doesn't meet my needs! Unpacking: took a bit of time as this was packed to guarantee no damage during shipping. Was able to do by myself but an extra pair of hands would have been helpful. Directions and assembly: Best written directions i think i've ever had. Easier then I expected to assemble. Took 1:20 min. but can easily be done faster. Performance: Quiet,smooth and comfortable. At one point I applied a little lubricant (WD40) to the brake pad. Took a few tries to adjust the seat for comfortable ride. I chose this model because of the measurements,seat to pedal etc: This being my first experience on a spin bike the seat took a little time to get used to ,but after about a month of riding 40 min. most days its getting easier. The episode length of the series im watching. .. The bike is easy to move and does not take much room on the floor. I've had gym memberships for 60+ years and can say that this Sunny Bike is a well made and thought out piece of equipment. The resistance changes with a touch ,mounting and dismount is easy ,the water bottle holder is placed perfectly. The exercise computer gives just enough info for me. While it is easy to read in daylight i do wish it had a light as im in a corner of the room with less light available. This is one of the best and most useful pieces of health equipment. The bike works much better than magnetic resistance as it can hold over 300 lbs on a standing hill climb. I would recommend this bike to anyone whom is trying to purchase a really expensive bike or another brand with other features. You do not need the automatic and computer features. Get yourself a smart wearable that links to an app on your phone to track everything and save yourself some money. I have lost 35 lbs to date with this great bike! I really enjoy riding this exercise bike daily. It’s very smooth and incredibly quiet so I don’t have to turn up the TV more then normal volume while riding. The seat and handle bars are adjustable which are also nice. It’s a great size to have behind our couch but not be obtrusive visually in any way. When we move it the wheels on the front are great & have don’t affect the bikes stability in any way. This bike is heavy but well-constructed. Since I've only had the bike for a couple weeks, I'm still getting used to it. The seat is uncomfortable, so I will see about getting a replacement that is a little wider. Also, I've found that my hands fall asleep, so I will try adjusting the height of the handlebars to see if that helps. Excellent bike. Very smooth riding with a comfortable riding position. Quality parts from Shimano make for fast shifts with good gear range. I ride primary for aerobic exercise and find the bike gives me a great workout while providing a smooth, solid ride. I assembled it myself but needed to have a bike shop to fine tune the front disc brake and true the front wheel in order for the front wheel to spin freely. (Although the bike comes with all the necessary assembly tools (hex wrenches and pedal wrench), the included assembly instructions are not very good w respect to the front wheel / disc brake assembly). But as it turns out Vilano explains that you need to have a bike shop check the assembly in order for the warranty to be valid … not something I knew going in, but the bike shop’s assembly review and front wheel / disc brake tuning ($80) gives me added peace of mind. I should add that Vilano customer service is outstanding. Their toll free phone automated attendant menu could do for a few more option selections to make things more intuitive, but once you get through to the staff they is great. They give you the sense that they are genuinely interested in helping you solve whatever problem you’ have. They listen well, seem to be very knowledgeable about the product and follow up as promised. Overall I’m very pleased with the bike … smooth and solid with good quality parts. We ordered this bike for our teenage son. We added the Pro Build, since we don’t have any close bike shops and we knew he would ride it right away. The bike came on time and packaged neatly. Our son put it together in about 15 minutes and took it out for a ride. So nice that it worked perfectly! Totally worth the slight up charge. I researched bikes in order to find a hybrid bike that delivered more road performance than trail, at a reasonable cost. This one fit the bill and I believe is a clear winner in the price range $300. It does take a while to set up, and you should understand bikes or bring it to a shop to handle that for you. I understand bikes and I still became tripped up on the front derailleur, and it took me a couple days of working on it and reviewing video to first see where I messed up in attempting to fine tune it and then figuring out where to set it back to where it originally was set and then fine tuning it from that point again once I realized that's all it needed. The back derailleur and the disc brakes also needed adjustment and I did fine on them though but again, you need to understand bikes and also to comprehend videos on the subject matter. Took the bike for my first ride recently, so this is a maiden voyage review of approximately 7 to 8 miles on steep hills. It performs admirably on hills, where the 24 gears are a must! The bike is a performer for the price! Tires felt strong, frame is solid, disc brakes are great. The seat may need to be changed out for comfort, however, they are cheap enough and for the price of the bike, should not be considered a deterrent. It is better to NOT have a front shock for more road use, as that absorbs energy going up steep hills and that's what I needed this for. Had the bike pushing 40 m.p.h. or over and was very stable. Be sure to check the wheel hub and brakes prior to doing that though. Five stars for the quality on price point and the outlet shipped it fast and delivery time is reasonable. Remember, assembly IS required. The bike is solid but will need some adjustment once assembled though, so your call on how you do it, yourself or professionally, as it can be quite frustrating. If you were worried about quality, don't, it will get the job done for leisure to intermediate riding endeavors I believe based on my first take. It's been over a month that i own this bike. I love doing indoor cycling and i never imagined i would own one. I loved the price and decided to purchased one specially with this pandemic that we can't risk on going out and plus having 3 kids at home. I love riding my bike but suddenly the on one of the sides of the felt pad is folding when I'm riding the bike and it makes is so hard to ride even if it has low resistance added. Great bike! Easy resistance controls, works well, has a water bottle holder which is practical. Seat gets uncomfortable after some time on it so I cushion it with a blanket. It's very loud with higher resistance. But still definitely worth it. I did a lot of research before buying this bike. I also use it at Orangetheory Fitness and fell in love with the smooth ride. Also love how the wheel is under the seat and doesn’t get wet with sweat. My husband put it together in about 40 minutes, which he said was easy. Now the bad part which Keiser had no control over. United Parcel Service delivered the box which was damaged. The lever was broken and front the front roller wheel was slightly bent which does not affect the ride. I sent photos to Keiser and promptly received an email and phone call from them. They overnighted a new lever. I was very impressed with the customer service. I rode 40 miles on my first ride and it was quiet and smooth as silk.Maggie M
I bought this bike because it’s what I used at my gym, which shut down due to COVID. After more than a year of not doing spinning classes and putting on 10 lbs, I couldn’t take it anymore. Best pandemic purchase! Well built and well designed, sturdy. Assembly video was very helpful, along with the manual, including suggestions for regular maintenance you can take care of on your own. I used to ride a regular bike for years. It kinda feels like you are free. I learned a lot about it, about fixing, about spare parts and how to choose em. And I wanna say that Keiser made probably one of the best indoor bikes, which would work for multiple tens of years. First time I saw m3i in the gym. People using them non-stop hours each day. And the only problems you will see about them: pedals + saddles. But it's spare parts. You also gonna see a bit of rust, but it's probably because of lack of maintenance and proper cleaning. You not gonna find on this bike modern screen or wifi connectivity, but this is probably something that you should find with other companies because Keiser concentrated on mechanics. After that order I also ordered for myself custom contact pedals, saddle, cycling shorts, boots. I love it. It helps me a lot to improve my English by watching Netflix with subtitles during quarantine times.Oliver
