I absolutely love this bike! I was a little worried about getting a single speed but so glad I did. The bike was shipped to my home so I had to assemble it, adjust the brakes and chain tension, and it was good to go. Everything on the bike works really well. The gearing on the bike is 36:18 / or the standard single speed 2 to 1 ratio, meaning for every 1 turn of the peddles the tires turns 2 times and feels so good. probably have to tinker with it a little to get it just so, the seat… probably needs a better one… if u value your assets, tighten ALL the fitting on it with the appropriate size wrench (u do have tools, yes? ) I will probably get a CHEAP/WIDE $5 inner tube, cut the valve stem out of it and use it as a tread/tube liner so that thorns do not puncture the tire/tube; put it between the inner tube that is in there and the BACK tire… as I wud any bike as thorns are prevalent here and fixing 7 flats in 3 days because I was CHEAP and didn't get the HEVI WATE INNER TUBES on my last NEW bike was …. and education to do IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME so I didn't have to do it again… and again and again. SLIME is hard to get into the tires through the NARROW hole in the air thingy even with the Schrader valve removed. LOCKS, U LOCKS AND HEVI WATE CHAIN… if u want to keep the bike; as sometimes they ride off by themselves if left anywhere. cable "locks" are ornaments (don't ask how I KNOW this) and not worth throwing out. some gearheads have taken the bearings apart and greased them and have said they are tightened TOO TIGHT from the factory, but DO NOT LOSE THE BEARINGS!!! carpet catches bearings, hard floors=scattered bearings=bad. tires are said to be HEAVY compared to after market, but that is not all bad as once get the tires rolling… INERTIA KEEPS THEM ROLLING with a little effort so that is good. like kicking the clutch out on a BIG TRUCK on the highway… it will coast a LONG WAY with all that weigh/inertia built up in its mass/wheels/tires.18LiterDETROITDIESEL

First of all, it sure is a slap in the face to see the price drop $17 just two weeks after I got it. Now then, my experience has been much the same as other reviews. It is a barely "OK" bike, I guess for the money nowadays. It is built and billed as a "Mountain Bike" which is the furthest thing I intend to use it for. From what I gather, you would have to add another zero to the price to get a genuine, usable mountain bike. I am 68 years old wanting to get some exercise. And when I saw this Fat Tire bike, I had to have it. It is the closest I have seen to the old (even then) bike I had as a kid in the fifties and sixties. I will probably end up spending as much extra to make the bike marginally usable, as the bike cost to start with. It is in the shop right now and I'm not doing that much yet. The seat if terrible. The brakes, we'll have to see after they are adjusted right. I have a new seat ready to put on when I get it back. I had the shop put on a steering riser (probably not right term) to raise the handlebars. Keeping original bar for now but may have to replace that too. And replacing the brake levers. If the brakes don't improve (a lot!!) I'll either replace them, or sell the whole bike and get something else. I even got new pedals. The reflectors on the original pedals break off easily. The shifter is a PITA because it wants to change as you are gripping the bar. It should have been a lever or something. And high gear is not even as high as my old single speed. What good is THAT? I guess what it boils down to is that it is impossible to buy a Fat Tire Mountain Bike for $200 that is not a joke even for just plain riding down the street, let alone riding in the mountains.Tinman98

Due to its tubular steel frame, the 26 inch Mongoose Dolomite seven speed fat bicycle is heavier than 26 inch fat bicycles constructed of aluminium or carbon fiber. However, a new aluminium fat bicycle frames will cost no less than $900.00; carbon fiber fat bicycle frames prices start at about $2,000. As a direct result of the enormous price difference I decided to purchase the Dolomite just to try out a fat bicycle with the full entention of purchasing a far more expensive model if I enjoyed the larger design. I was surprisingly blown away! The Dolomite had arrived at my front door in only two days. I discovered assembly to be rather simple, but as a safety measure I walked the Dolomite ten blocks to my neighbourhood bicycle repair store for an overall examination; at the bicycle shop both disc brakes were properly calibrated, grease was added to the handle bar support collar, a water bottle cage was placed onto the frame, tires were inflated to proper pressure and then were placed in their recommended rotational direction. Finally, the seat pole was adjusted to a safe and comfortable height. I paid my service charge, quickly place my helmet on and then brought my bicycle onto the New York City streets. The ride was so comfortable due to the large amount of inflated rubber between the road bed and the large 4 inch rims. In addition, at slow speeds and at accelerated speeds the tires are constantly providing exceptional traction; I remained in full control of the bicycle as I effortlessly floated above the New York City man hole covers, large steel plate covers, pot holes and the ubiquitous sewer drainage grids. The weight of the bicycle is an attribute when descending steep hills, but when ascending hills be prepared to pump vigorously. The gears do shift rather accurately to their corresponding numbers, but not the smoothest shift. Due to its price, aesthetics, quality of design and durability I strongly recommend the Mongoose Dolomite Men's 7 Speed Bicycle.JNemorin

This review will be broken down into two parts: Installation/Delivery & use of the product. Installation/Delivery: Firstly, I am so happy to currently be a member of the Total Tech Membership. As a result, I was able to get this bike for $500. That $500 included not only the bike, but also the delivery AND installation. I ordered the bike about a week ago and set up delivery/install for Friday 1.21.22. The two guys that came to complete the bike delivery and set up were AWESOME! I think we were their last delivery on Friday as they called and said they were driving back from Sheboygan then to Green Bay to pick up bike, then up to Door County. Even though I could tell they had a LONG day these two guys were EXCEPTIONAL. They came in brought the bike downstairs and happily went to work on putting it together. They got the whole thing together and rocking and rolling in about 40 minutes (totally worth me not doing it b/c I'm sure it would've taken me much longer). They gave me a tutorial on use and took everything away. Both of these guys deserve a TEN out of TEN for their efforts & hard work (even on a late Friday night). Thanks MUCH to them Use of Product: my wife did a ride yesterday on the bike and I used it this morning before work. The product is SUPER easy to use and it is VERY VERY QUIET (you can hardly hear it running). I love that they have user profiles that keep track of your workouts and overall distances that you bike (it allows 4 profiles). This bike has a great display for your workouts and it has plenty of choices for programs. It also has a fan and though I haven't used it yet it has a USB port and speakers for listening to what you'd like (I am an ear buds kind of guy). When using the bike it is VERY comfortable (I'm 5'10') and the seat moves with ease. This was the perfect last piece of exercise equipment we needed for our basement gym and it provides a good workout without major stress on the body. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who is on the fence about buying it. The bike (as you can see in the pictures) does not take up that much room compared to other pieces of cardio equipment as well which is a bonus.Brewerfan3

Schwinn has pulled a complete bait and switch on these units that to me borders on criminal. There USED to be (and is advertised) a free app that you could download to interact with these units as well as keep track of your workouts. However, that has gone the way of the dodo bird – extinct! The old app is still referenced in the owners/installation menu. The app has been removed from all app stores – no matter the device. What Schwinn has done is convert to a Peleton type structure where the app is now a subscription based service. Total money grab. If the app worked like Peleton, I could almost get behind it – not even close. There are only 3 or 4 free "rides" you can do with the new app but none are interactive to where the resistance varies based on the terrain. The app does make the video come to a halt if you stop pedaling – that's it. No matter what speed you pedal, the video just trundles along at the same speed. I did a quick review of the paid "rides" and they all said "video only" so even the paid app does NOT provide any interactive workout other than the view going by at a constant speed – unless you stop. No resistance changes, no speed changes, just a slow ride through the scenery. Also, the Bluetooth….would you expect that to link to your device and let you play music? NOPE!!! The only thing the Bluetooth will link to is the new app. I was told by Schwinn support that it would link to other apps but I tried 3 of what they recommended and no Bluetooth link unless on their app. Worthless. So, there is also a little fan on the console that has a vent similar to an A/C vent in a car. Great idea…..poor execution. The fan is mounted inside the plastic enclosure in such a way that when the air exits the front of the vent, it's blowing at a 45 degree angle and it shoots off to the left, doing a nice job of cooling your left forearm but not a whisp of air on your face. The seating position on this is also uncomfortable. The seat moves up and down at a steep angle – so much so that the instructions say to get out of the seat before adjusting. That is ridiculous. If they were being honest, they would say, "Our design is poor and you can't actually adjust the seat while seated". If you do decide to adjust the seat while actually seated (so you can tell where you need to set it – duh), you better have at least one foot FIRMLY on the pedal, ready to support most of your body weight. Otherwise, the seat will SLAM to the bottom and jam your back – yes, I did it! This is not like any recumbent bike Ive ever been on – the ergonomics just are NOT good. The angle is just not right. Excellent exercise bike at an excellent price. Free delivery was included and much appreciated that they moved the heavy box into the back room for me. Setup took about 90 minutes with assistance from a step-by-step YouTube video that made identifying parts and order a breeze (SEARCH: "Complete! Assemble Schwinn 270 Recumbent Exercise Bike") The bike is very comfortable and includes a console with lots of information and ability to setup custom programs. It's really not too bulky either and fits well along the wall of our room, so its pretty much out of the way. It has wheels in the front and a handle in the back to enable you to easily lift and move the bike. There is also a media shelf underneath the main display to hold your phone or tablet, and also a USB port to keep your device charged during your work out. The only negative thing you might have is that the Bluetooth capability is limited to using their app for downloading information about your session. You can't stream any music to its internal speakers at all. You will need to use the supplied 3.5mm input port and cable to attach to an MP3 player or phone that has a similar jack to play any music from the speakers. But you can just use your own phone or tablet along with wireless earbuds or headphones for better sound. The bike itself is very quiet when pedaling, which is nice. It has 25 levels of resistance which is plenty, and includes a heart rate monitor via the handles mounted on either side of the seat. A little nice addition is the cup holder/storage for your water bottle and/or remote control. Compare all this to the very similar (and more expensive) Nautilus R618 Recumbent bike that has almost identical features and made by the same company.BobG

Ordered the Super Cruiser on a Saturday and received it the following Thursday very nice! Andrew with electric zip was very helpful and returned my emails in a very timely manner. Thanks Andrew! The bike was very well packed with foam everywhere, love it! My family used to own a bike shop and I was the head mechanic so I’m very familiar with any kind of assembly although what is left to assemble out of the box would be straight forward and simple for anyone. The bike is extremely sturdy with above average components. Once I fully charged the battery I headed out for a spin and was surprised at how quick it was off the line. 0-20 in 3 seconds easy. I want to start off easy and break the motor and battery but I was able to accelerate to just above 25 mph with ease. 👍 The disc brakes work excellent and I’m sure they’ll stop even better once broken in. The super cruiser handled nicely with a smooth ride on the 4” fat tires. I was also able to test it on a few semi steep hills in my neighborhood. No problem! Overall this is a great ebike that is very fun to ride! I would strongly recommend the Super Cruiser and purchasing it from electriczip to anyone!Customer

I received my bike about 2 weeks ago and it is better than expected. The quality in the important places is good to very good. A few cheaper parts only where it doesn’t matter. I am a big guy and it still goes very fast with great acceleration. The range is also pretty good -I got 20 miles of rough riding Nd still had 3 bars left. All in all a good product.Armand B.

I previously commuted daily 10 miles RT to work on a non-electric cyclocross bike in SLC, but just moved double the distance away. This makes commuting much easier. It’s about 10 miles and 900 feet elevation gain to get to work, and this thing takes it like a champ. It’s essentially an electric moped. You can get as much of a workout as you want, and I pedal hard to reduce strain on the bike, but I could also get there in the same amount of time without sweating if I wanted to. With the racks, it carries everything I need and the upright posture with fat tires and front suspension ride like a dream. The cold temperature definitely affects battery range, but I probably wouldn’t have any range anxiety (without charging at work) unless I moved >15 miles away. It goes great in the snow and ice and I haven’t needed snow tires yet this year. I haven’t taken it on any trails, but it would probably do just fine. However, you’re probably not going to have fun riding this beast on single track with really tight corners. The lights are ok. Front light is bright, but I’ll need to aim it higher. The rear light gets covered by my panniers, though, so I had to put my own blinky on. Mechanically, it seems well-built, with simple but high quality components (for the price). The cadence-based PAS is sometimes unpredictable, but you’d probably have to spend a lot more for a mid-motor bike with this much power. So long as you don’t draft behind cars at intersections (which you should never do), it’s not much of a problem. This is a no-brainer commuter car replacement if you live within 15 miles of work, no matter the climate or road condition. I think the future of commuting is e-bikes like this one.Brian J.

This is my first ebike so I really only have standard bikes to compare it to but overall I am disappointed. First of all the assembly process is really tough due to the weight and various hardware used. The bike comes with an Allen wrench tool but it is extremely flimsy and only fits half the screws. Luckily I had the tools already to get it assembled. After that I went for my first ride and realized all the quality issues; rattles, brake pad dragging, metal torquing sounds when turning. I’m 6’1” 195 lbs but this bike seems to be under a lot of stress making the ride a very nervous experience. I finally decided to take it to a bike shop to have it tuned which was really tough due to the crazy heavy weight. The shop told me the components (shifting, gears, brakes) were cheap, low quality, and not very well aligned for the frame. He did the best he could, and it is better but there’s still occasional brake dragging, gear issues, and the strange metal strain I mentioned. It makes riding the bike at speed a very nervous experience, like it’s going to break at any second; something I never feel on my other bikes, even the ones that cost 1/3 of the Aventon. I really wish they would have used the Shimano components shown in all the pictures and videos. With all the quality issues I would say the bike should cost about $700, not the nearly $2k I spent. In summary, it looks like a really cool bike with great styling but I regret buying it and wish I would have spent the money on another more dependable brand. I’ll most likely sell the bike (at a steep discount) to someone who wants to replace all the cheap components (fork, shifter, gears, pedals, brakes) and hopefully make it into a decent bike.Wick

A good bike for the price – it has a powerful motor and appears to be well-manufactured, but time will tell over the next years. A few items to consider before purchasing the bike: it is very heavy, and there are two weights out there – the heavier one (~75 pounds) is the actual weight with the battery. Thus, you still get the bike on a trailer-hitch solid carrier, but it requires precise force if you do it yourself. Then, more importantly, if you live in a mountainous area like we do (Park City, UT), you need to consider that the 200 mm breaks are relatively weka when you go downhill – due to the weight of the bike itself, you easily accelerate to 40+ miles, and because the bike is so heavy and solid, you do not really feel it (it is more like a lightweight motorcycle). But if you have to break on a steeper decline, you better be prepared – you simple have to be aware of it and go slow enough (and not let the fun of speed overwhelm you). It it ok but you have to be aware of it. Then, even though many Youtube videos might suggest this is also a great bike for light trails – yes if it is a gravel road but nothing more. The hard tail is heavy and you get every bump right into your back (despite the rather comfortable seat); the fork is overwhelmed very quickly – this bike is a great cruiser on pavement and gravel, but don’t take it onto the single tracks. Finally, the 45 miles at level 1 might be possible on even terrain and no wind, but since the bike is so heavy, we get a maximum of maybe 25 miles out of it – but this is mostly at level three and with a heavy incline on the way back home (which is a steep downhill at the beginning). Still better then driving the car, we bought this for grocery commutes and to run errands within the mileage stated above. I could see this bicycle performing very well in a flat city – our electric car also suffers from the mountain roads regarding the promised milage per charge. All in all a good choice for what we use it – and time will tell how early it will be to get spare parts etc. If you purchase it – enjoy it, it comes with a lot of fun 🙂Joerg R.

This is my first e-bike and it has helped me to rediscover my childhood enjoyment of bike riding on a whole new scale. Although I’ve enjoyed riding bikes when the setting called for it (down in Seaside on vacation, or around the neighborhood with the kids), I’ve never been a serious cyclist. This new bike from Aventon has nonetheless been easy to set up, and a real blast to ride. I’ve found myself riding all around our little town here in Georgia (the abundant bike and golf cart paths help) without the slightest concern about running out of steam, or some joint acting up miles from home. It’s been totally liberating and tons of fun. e-bikes in general are a great way to get around, and this Aventon unit is an excellent example: well built, long lasting battery (Aventon claims about 45 miles and I have no reason to doubt this), quality components like hydraulic disc brakes, nice fat tires, and intuitive operation. For those new to e-bikes, it’s worth noting that an e-bike is not like a motor scooter or electric motorbike in that e-bikes generally need to be pedaled. The system allows you to add a variable amount of electric assistance to your own pedaling, making long rides and steep hills a breeze. Because the assistance is adjustable, you can get as much or as little exercise as you like. There’s also a throttle that can be used in a pinch to keep moving even without pedaling, but generally you control the speed via your legs, making the bike easy to use and control. This also means that the bike isn’t going to run away from you (or with you) since it will stop when you stop the pedals. In my experience, the Aventure was well behaved. You can definitely feel the assist kicking in after starting to turn the pedals, but generally the motor is well controlled, especially at the lower assistance levels. The disc brakes are easy to modulate and confidence inspiring. The seat is comfortable, but could probably be changed out (there’s a quick release) if you wanted something different. It’s worth noting that this bike does NOT have a quick release on the front wheel, so you need to pack a wrench if you intend to dismount the wheel. The bike includes a surprisingly effective headlight (given its small size) and a nice bright red tail and brake light, both of which make it reasonably easy to spot even as the sun goes down. Aventon ships this bike in a very well packaged box and all components are thoughtfully protected. Assembly is not difficult, even for the uninitiated, and all needed tools are supplied. Just add a helmet and a pump for the tires. That said, Aventon suggests having a local bike shop put it together for you and that’s not a terrible idea, especially if you’re concerned about the weight of this unit. My bike did need some minor adjustments, but so far I’ve been able to do anything needed at home. Pros: – Well made and attractively designed, with the battery neatly integrated into the frame. – Excellent performance with tons of power for high speed cruising (up to 28 mph) and steep hill climbs. – Big fat tires and suspension mean it can easily traverse even rough terrain. – Long battery life. After a ride of about 7 miles, my bike was still above 90% (the official range figure is about 45 miles). – Good quality hardware – hydraulic brakes are very strong and even the small included headlight is quite effective at night (an upgraded unit is available if needed). – Easy to assemble with all required parts, tools, and charger included. – Good service and support. – Control unit can connect to an app on your phone for logging and tracking as well as deeper configuration of speed limits and assistance options. – Step through or step over designs in a variety of sizes and colors. Cons: – Heavy. Removing the battery can help make it easier to transport. – No front wheel quick release. – Like all bikes, it will require some periodic service, and the heavy nature of e-bikes means certain consumables like brake pads wear more quickly than for regular bikes. Overall I couldn’t be happier with my Aventure and am looking forward to many enjoyable hours with the wind in my hair and a strong motor to back me up when my legs run out of push.PhilipM

I am very satisfied with this bike. It is quiet, has enough resistance so that I can get an aerobic workout (I am in my 50s) and does not take up a lot of floorspace. It was easy enough to put together and I see no reason to spend tons of money on an exercise bike, so for me, the price was reasonable. I have shorter legs so this bike worked ergonomically for me, I am not sure if it would for a tall person. (I am 5'3" ).Kathleen P.

This is the best piece of exercise equipment I have ever bought. It's super compact so it fits in a corner of my house, has wheels on the bottom of the front legs to move around (like a dolly) and can have multiple positions to best fit your biking style. Putting this thing together was very very easy and it comes with a meter that keeps track of time, miles, pulse, speed, and a total odometer for lifetime miles traveled on the bike. It's resistance is really great as well. I keep at 5 (out of 10). I don't know what hard core biking people like for their resistance but I get a real sweat on this thing.Anne T.

Before purchasing it, I had thought about buying the less expensive bike but then read the reviews for this and discovered it offered the different positions whereas the cheaper one did not. I am so glad I spent the extra dollars and bought this one. It folds up for easy storage, it has height adjustments for the seat and also for the type of ride you want ( one is more reclined while the other way gives you that bicycle feel) it is very quiet and comfortable to ride. It was easy to put together and it is very sturdy. If you are thinking of purchasing an exercise bike, I highly recommend this one!Terri G.

Most folks do their research, crunch the numbers, read the reviews and go ahead and then purchase a big ticket item based on those facts .They get the product and say " it met my expectations". Once in a great while we do those things and get a product that exceeds our expectations. Such was the case with my Cyrusher XF800. I was immediately impressed with how much power it has. I was able to go up hills with such ease I was astonished. I do believe that I do need some lower gears though as the really steep hills could be pedaled easier. The Throttle function is the bomb and very intuitive. Most times I'm in PAS level 2 . Level five is stronger than I thought it would be . Zero improvement needed there. The frame is really stiff and the bike fits me like a dream. I'm 5 feet 8 inches tall with an inseam of 30 inches .Hope this helps others as it's hard to buy a bike online fit wise. Despite what others say the rear shock IS adjustable. There is a Schrader valve that you can adjust the air pressure in the shock. I weigh 185 lbs ride aggressive and I'm now on 70 lbs PSI. The front suspension is adequate for the job and does what it's supposed to do and in line with the bikes price point. The brakes are top notch and you need them. It's a heavy bike and goes real fast downhill because of that heft. Glad they are hydraulic. One point to note though on the brakes is that they are backwards. The rear brake lever should always be on the right as traditional bike brakes are. These are backwards. The rear brake on the left and front brake on the right.Going down sketchy downhills you need to be careful about grabbing too much front brake. Cyrusher please change this! So far battery life is quite good. I went on a 30 mile ride and still had half a battery left. It was a level paved railbed and I pedaled lightly most of the way. The charger port is kind of old school with a three prong metal connector. Strong and beefy though. Remember to condition the battery the first three charges to get all the cells optimized. Battery is heavy but it's cradle is stout and won't fall out once locked in by key. The charge button on the top is kind of wonky and hard to read while pressing the button. Seat is comfortable and has the standard Cinch lock around the seat tube. Front light is ok but should be brighter for any night riding. First off let me state CLEARLY….this is an awesome bike. Utah based sales and customer/ tech are awesome and very helpful. The bike is a blast to ride and pretty fast. Now unfortunately the negatives. The bike i ordered was not what i received. There were apparent changes for the 2022 model. First off, THEY CHANGED THE FRONT FORK! I was supposed to get an air fork and i got a coil fork. The explanation i got was there was a problem with the air system leaking so they changed to coil. Im kinda used to higher end forks (Fox and rock shock) and never used a coil before….only AIR! Second, they got rid of entire FRONT DERAILLER. so i was expecting a 21 speed and i ended up with a 7 speed that is way over maxxed out on PAS 5. So i feel limited because peddlng in PAS 5 is a waste because the gears cant keep up with the motor. So honestly i love the bike but i feel a bit slighted and their return policy is a freakin joke and virtually impossible. My wife ordered the 650 and did not like it so she emailed “china” and apparently the bike had to be repackaged perfectly with no dirt, fragrences spiders or gingerprints and CANT BE RODE OVER 10 miles. So my overall conclusion is the Utah based guys are awesome. The Chinese distributers are ridiculous so we have $4k worth of bikes that were stuck with. Now, since were “keeping” the bikes im looking at thousands of extra money ive got to spend the get the bikes right for my riding style; and changes to make her bike comfortable to ride. However i still really like mine even with the In accurate configuration. If I had it to do all over again honestly I would’ve just bought a Sur Ron Because counting the price of the bike replacing the front fork and upgraded shimano deore drivetrain…. This is an update to an earlier posting in July 2022…… Bike now has almost a 1000 miles on it and wanted to share some thoughts on performance ,charging and ownership. First and foremost I love this bike. It's hard to get the right fit from a bike purchased on the internet but this one came in spot on. The cockpit was perfect for my dimensions of 5 feet 8 inches ,30 inch inseam. I can describe the fit and stance as one of an attack position as opposed to an upright cruising style. Perfect for me as I was going to put it thru it's Paces. As far as charging goes it completes it's charge cycle in 7 hours but sometimes it's best to leave on the charger for 24 hours as that charges All the cells equally. The charger itself gets very hot but still does it's job. The USB port is nice to charge cell phone on shorter rides. I've ridden as far as 50 miles with it in Pas one and two and some harder pedaling . Mostly though the range is 35-40 miles on flat rail beds . Contrary to what others say it's ok to draw the battery right down to near zero. When the batt gets low the segments disappear . Once the segments disappear you will start to see the outline of the battery icon flash. That's the time to be near home or your vehicle . When the Icon disappears completely you are deader than a doornail. For me I wanted the best ride available so after much research I changed the shock and fork. The shock I changed to an Amazon favorite DHM for 100 bucks. It's way better than the board stiff one that came on it. Second was the fork. I purchased a Maxxlite again off of Amazon for 150 bucks. It's air adjustable and is butter smooth. Set to 75 PSI for my weight of 190 lbs. The seat was changed as well to the Giddyup brand with attached light. No more monkey butt and longer rides of 30 to 40 miles are a breeze. I changed the grips to Wolf paw 10 mm Silicone and the reduced trauma on my hands and wrists are way better for it. Finally I changed the front sprocket from a 52 tooth to a 54 tooth. Added cell phone holder ,pannier and bell and that about does it. To be clear this is a very capable off road bike for hard packed dirt trails and rail beds. However it is not quite powerfull enough for hard core Mountain Biking . That would be reserved for the next tier of money spent in about the 4000 dollar range . I get comments every where I go and my wife loves her Ebike so much I can't get her off it. As I stated before customer service is very much lacking so they need to upgrade their game dramatically . Fortunately for me I've had nothing serious enough happen to the bike that it stopped me from riding . Buyer beware. I would purchase again for sure .Jim T.

I was scouring Craigslist for a deal on a Schwinn Cruiser, but ended up purchasing an Urban Man cruiser via the Firmstrong website when I realized I could get something new, lighter and customized to my needs for a few dollars more. Went with the single speed in chrome with decals removed. The purchase process was easy and price was right. I love the way it looks and rides, and it's extremely comfortable. The assembly process was simple, even for me, and I'm not good at that stuff.Joe G.

Solid bike! Well packaged, few minor scratches on painted surfaces. Bike seems to be well made with good components (bearings, hub and crank. Bike looks great and is light for a beach cruiser. I should have bought this bike 5 years ago instead of the 2 others that I bought and ended up replacing due to poor components. I usually average about 30 miles a week as a cool down from work-outs. Previous cheap big box store bikes usually lost spokes and the brake hub had issues and never felt right. I think it will last me a while!David F.

I bought this bike clearly for looks. When it arrived it had the wrong size fender (made for a smaller wheel) so now I am riding around with only one fender, which looks ridiculous. I've called Hayneedle and am waiting for a response. Additionally the seat is surprisingly really uncomfortable. I couldn't ride for more than 20 minutes due to needing a break from the seat. I probably would not have purchased this bike if I had known prior to buying it.John

Without a doubt this is the worst most poorly built bicycle I have ever owned. In short, it is just a piece of junk. The bike arrived with one handlebar protruding from the box and there were scratches on the paint in many places. I would have returned it, but I found it easier and less expensive to sell it, and I'm glad I did. I replaced it with a mountain bike made by Schwinn, which is a lovely, well-made and easy to ride machine. I will never buy another Huffy product.Good riddance

I tried riding on this bike more than once but I have to admit that I felt intimidated by the height & size of it. Even though the stated measurements provide the height and sizes for a person like me with 5’ 2 1/2 height to ride this bike. The height of the seat was adjusted, too. It was discovered the slanted frame of this Ebike does not provide sufficient room for my legs to hop on this bike unless I turn the bike side way all the way down. I feel like I am not tall enough to hop on this Ebike to ride. I have ordered another Ebike from different company and it’s on the way to my home. The Ebike is foldable and will accommodate my need to ride without struggling to hop on the bike. I plan to ride it for awhile until I become more physically fit to ride on my Black & Orange Ebike from Zulily. I highly recommended for the shoppers to try on the bikes at the brick n mortar stores before anyone decides to purchase this awesome Ebike even though the recommended height measurement is appropriate or not. After getting the bike assembled, which was not as easy as other reviews state, there was a grinding noise. We took the bike completely apart and found the belt was not on correctly. It took FOREVER to get it back on. After fixing that there was an issue with the tension cable. After working on this bike for a while it is finally usable. The price is fair, but its not worth much money in my opinion. Spend a little more on a better bike. The overall look of it is good but it doesn't function properly.Brittnee

This exercise bicycle is easy to use. I had a sore knee for weeks. I noticed soreness was less after first use. I have used the bike for 2 weeks and knee pain is gone. I was away for a week and mo issues with knee. I start using it again today. This bike displays distance and calories burned. The seat and back cushion are comfortable. I bought this bike several years ago, and have been very pleased with it. I am 97 years old, stagger around with a cane, and have very little strength. This bike is good for me. It's very easy to get on and off – the seat is chair height, with a back and arms making it secure to ride. Other configurations like upright bikes and rowing machines are difficult, and those requiring you to stand are impossible for me to use without falling. I ride this bike for 30 minutes a day at a resistance setting of 5 within the range of 1 – 8, about what I remember the resistance of peddling a real bike at about 10 -15 mph to be. The bike has a very good price; it has the essentials and no more. Other than occasionally tightening a few screws, I've had no maintenance problems. I have two criticisms: (1.) The adjustment for riders of different heights is cumbersome, and (2.) The little computer displays operating time, speed, distance, calories , and something I don't understand. It is difficult to zero the display at the start of a run; I just keep punching until it eventually does, and the calorie count never zeros, but who believes it anyway. The same is a problem with the scan function – just keep punching and eventually it starts working. For someone like me who needs aerobic exercise, but is too old and feeble to go running in the park, this is a great machine.William

I wanted a sturdy and rugged ebike I could use on any terrain. Although I ride on mostly paved surfaces, I know riding on anything else is a possible option now. The Warrior is a heavy ebike and it feels like a quiet powerful tank on two wheels. I changed my tires to a smoother tread pattern and less rolling resistance, upgraded my seatpost to a Redstop Shockstop seatpost, changed my seat to a more comfortable one, and upgraded my battery to the one with an estimated 70 mile range. The battery is very expensive, but it is worth the upgrade if you want to decrease the chances of running out of power in unchartered areas. The upgraded battery is available on QuietKat.com. It sales out quickly. I am now very satisfied with a more comfortable ride and a much better battery. I can ride on level 2 about 7 to 8 miles before the upgraded battery gets down to 99%. I am the Chief Ranger of one of the busiest recreation destinations on the east coast. I needed a rugged ebike for staff to navigate our complex network of carriage roads. I am glad to have found Quietkat. The ranger is exactly what we needed. We can get through our mountainous terrain with ease, and have a battery we trust for long days. You can feel and see the quality. The petal assist is powerful enough, but the throttle really throws you back when speed is needed. My ride has been very comfortable. We looked at the different stationary bikes for some time before ultimately going with this one. I wasn't worried with 'riding w/others' & didn't find a reason to have the specific shoes especially since it's 2 of us. It's quiet & the dial for resistance is smooth. Handlebars are positioned well comfortable. Seat could be a little cushier, there's a possibility to replace that part. Also, no need for a monthly subscription, which apparently you need for others to work. Overall, I am very happy with this bike & would recommend for those who are self motivated & can either watch regular tele or pull up a workout on Amazon Prime. For me, I just couldn't find the need to spend twice as much to be in the 'in crowd' riding what everyone else is, but that's how I roll! I bought this bike from Dick's about six months ago. I use it almost every day and am quite happy with it after a few additions and modifications. First, the few negatives: I modified the water bottle holder so that it is more forward to avoid hitting the bottle when standing. I swapped the pedals that came with the bike for SPD pedals which work with my mountain bike shoes. I didn't find the JRNY app to be useful. The bike display is OK except for the cadence/RPM display. I have no idea why they use that bar rather than displaying a number. I use zwift and the bike pairs with zwift nicely and displays cadence in the zwift app along with heart rate and power. I'm not certain how the bike reports power and there's some evidence that it overstates power. I don't race on zwift and only do workouts and group rides so I'm not really too concerned about having accurate power numbers. Here are the good points: The bike is very stable and comfortable. It has lots of adjustability to fit the rider. The saddle is remarkably good for a stationary bike. The magnetic resistance is great and very responsive. The bike is absolutely silent and very smooth. The bike is a very good value for the price. It's not quite a full smart bike because it doesn't adjust resistance automatically based on changes in terrain when using an app like zwift. I don't downgrade it for that because it doesn't claim to do that. I knocked off 1 star based on the water bottle holder position and the cadence display. (I would rate it 4.5 if I had that option). This bike is made by NordikTrack and is branded as Schwinn IC4 and an almost identical Bowflex C7 which only slightly differs cosmetically. NordikTrack could easily fix those two issues. Several users reported problems with the pedals included with the bike. I didn't use them as I swapped them for the SPD when I first started using the bike.man with dog

Bought this bike under some recommendations of online cycle reviewers, so far I'm really pleased. The bike came in great shape, only had to put together a few key items (handle bars, front wheel, and seat). I was ready to go in about 1hr. I've taken it on a few 30 minute rides, the seat is definitely firm but more forgiving than other road bikes. I think the shifters on the brakes and the overall feel of the bike are very high end compared to the cost. I like the styling and look forward to riding it to work on a regular basis. If there is one thing to complain about it's that the shimano claris derailleurs have recommended combinations front-to-back, so they suggest not using the lowest front gear with the top two highest rear gears and vice versa. The front derailleur offers a "half shift" if your chain rubs, which really comes in handy when you want to break the shimano rules! Next steps: trying the bike with a baby carrier on it! Note: it came with a lot of warning/warranty/branding stickers. They all came off (some easier than others) with some good fingernail picking. No glue residue left behind – really happy about that.CarlFS

Bought this bike to incorporate into my at home exercise. It was easy to assemble, and everything moves smoothly. The seat was mildly uncomfortable so I replaced it and added a gel cushion. Hey guys! So I have been using my exercise bike at least 4x a week since getting it and loving being able to still get an easy sweat session up in lockdown. Here are some of my pros/cons so far: Pro: 1. Quick delivery and build time 2. 8x gear options available 3. Gear is a toggle rather than twist 4. Solid distance & speed tracker Cons: 1. The family has been using this bike for the last two years. It is a great starting point for someone that wants to improve their cardio health. We have had a couple of issues, had to purchase two sets of peddles to replace the ones that came with the bike. we also have broken the resistance knob assembly 4 times and have paid for replacements. (the screw that applies pressure to the resistance foot has stripped because it is made from cheap metal) We really beat this unit for all its worth. I being 6'1 220lbs finds the seat needs to come up a bit to get the full stroke from the peddles. The handle bars also need to come up another 2 inches for taller people. But for the money, this cant be beat for a starter bike.Dirk

I received an Aostirmotor e-bike for Christmas. Upon opening the box I discovered one of the pedals was stripped along with the sprocket. My father has exchanged multiple emails with this company asking them to replace what came broken (makes sense right?) Aostirmotor asks for pictures, we send pictures. Every single time their excuse is "the lighting is wrong", "the picture is blurry" etc. Bottom line if you send a faulty product you replace it for the customer no questions asked, not 15 emails exchanges and excuse after excuse. Bottom line I would not recommend buying a product from Aostirmotor.Joseph Dombroski

This bike has taken me 54 YOM farther than expected with 3 bars left when I got home. I have had no issues with bike,it's built well. I did email the company and they responded within 3 days about tire pressure 20 or 30 psi.Only complaint the fenders the front one does not go past the headlight and the rear one flapped around making noise. I have replaced front and rear fenders.Very happy with this E bike.Geoff Green
