I live in a very humid, tropical environment where sulfur emissions from a prior lava eruption continue to pollute the air and cause everything metal to rust. After our 1960's Schwinn cruiser bicycles became rusted beyond repair, I searched online for new bikes. The sixthreezero bicycles looked really cool and the prices were fantastic. I did not expect the quality to be anywhere near as good as it is! It is extremely comfortable and a breeze to pedal also! The paint color is very retro and cool; people compliment the bike whenever I ride Amazingly, TWO years after I have purchased it, my bike has NO rust anywhere! This is practically unheard of in our location! We live 5 blocks from 3-month long active lava eruption that continues to emit sulfur into the air three years later! If I had to say something negative about the bike, I can't think of anything I would change about it! Their customer service team is top notch! Anytime I email them, they respond almost immediately! I bought this bike to try to get in better shape. The reason I wanted an electric bike was because I wanted to push myself and then use the electric only to ride back if I pushed myself too far. Plus I needed a way to get back home to accommodate multiple musculoskeletal issues that I was afraid would leave me stranded and struggling to return on a manual bike. I haven't rid a bike in years so I was hesitant to spend this amount on a bike I hadn't test driven and I lacked confidence in my physical ability as I have multiple disabilities. First off this bike has changed my life. I started off riding a couple miles and being tired. After a few weeks I was up to 5 miles multiple times a week. I'm so excited to have a means of exercise that gets my heart rate up, doesn't exacerbate my disabilities, and is enjoyable. I have had my bike for 2 months now and last month I rode 70 miles and met the weekly recommend moderate activity for multiple weeks in a row. I have done 7, 8, 9 mile rides so far. I originally thought I wouldn't get my heart beat up much with an electric bike but to the contrary. My fitbit shows my rides and where my heart increases to fat burning and cardio. Now I have plans by the end of March to ride 6 miles to work and 6 miles back 2-3 times a week. I couldn't have even imagined this goal as a possibility 2 months ago and now this is realistic. This bike is comfortable and is a joy to ride. The seat is cushy and comfortable. The hand grips are comfortable. I have issues with my hands and was worried about pain but this hasn't been a problem and I'm quite comfortable with the grips and angle of the handlebars. This bike is sturdy and comfortable. The battery lasts a long time. I could probably ride 4 or 5 days 5-6 miles a day until I need to recharge. I usually recharge every 2-3 rides but that is because I'm the type of person who fills my gas tank up when it is 3/4th full. I see the battery go down two bars and I'm on it with a recharge. The cons: I had a squeaking sound and couldn't figure out what was causing it, but I didn't look. I assigned figuring it out to my boyfriend and he said he was going to try some WD40. I'm not sure if he used it or did something but the squeaking sound went away. My breaks squeal a little. I haven't walked through the steps they provided to do a break tune-up so it is probably user error. I think I'm going to assign this to my boyfriend too. The battery came loose a couple times cutting the power. I just noticed it was tougher to pedal and stopped the bike to push it back in. The final con was I really wanted the cream bike but after waiting for three months global supply issues meant I would likely have to wait another three months. So they gave me an option to wait or switch to a bike in stock which is how I ended up with the Navy bike. It is very nice looking and I'm pleased even though it wasn't my first pick. I highly recommend this bike. It was easy to assemble. I think it took me an hour because I carefully read and reread instructions to make sure I did it correctly. I love this bike. It is super comfy and gave me an outlet to be physical activity. I was really struggling with the prospect of never being able to do anything physical until I got this bike. So I'm serious when I say this bike changed my life by giving me back my life. Now I have cute little accessories on it. Love it and look forward to many rides to come.Jeni

After purchasing an electric bike from Six Three Zero for myself, and being pleased with what I got, I ordered a second one for my wife, a 250 w Around the Block. I am just as pleased with this one as I was the first. The assembly instructions were straight-forward, all the parts were there, and it went together easily with a minimum of adjustments. I experienced one problem, with the lock for the battery, but that was instantly dealt with and a new replacement arrived in a matter of days. My wife had not ridden a bike in a long time, but she is now enjoying joining me on our tours of the country roads that we are lucky enough to be near. And, if we go a bit too far, all we have to do is turn up the juice and head back home. Thanks Six-Three-Zero. We will enjoy these bikes for years.George C

Excellent bike. Very smooth riding with a comfortable riding position. Quality parts from Shimano make for fast shifts with good gear range. I ride primary for aerobic exercise and find the bike gives me a great workout while providing a smooth, solid ride. I assembled it myself but needed to have a bike shop to fine tune the front disc brake and true the front wheel in order for the front wheel to spin freely. (Although the bike comes with all the necessary assembly tools (hex wrenches and pedal wrench), the included assembly instructions are not very good w respect to the front wheel / disc brake assembly). But as it turns out Vilano explains that you need to have a bike shop check the assembly in order for the warranty to be valid … not something I knew going in, but the bike shop’s assembly review and front wheel / disc brake tuning ($80) gives me added peace of mind. I should add that Vilano customer service is outstanding. Their toll free phone automated attendant menu could do for a few more option selections to make things more intuitive, but once you get through to the staff they is great. They give you the sense that they are genuinely interested in helping you solve whatever problem you’ have. They listen well, seem to be very knowledgeable about the product and follow up as promised. Overall I’m very pleased with the bike … smooth and solid with good quality parts. We ordered this bike for our teenage son. We added the Pro Build, since we don’t have any close bike shops and we knew he would ride it right away. The bike came on time and packaged neatly. Our son put it together in about 15 minutes and took it out for a ride. So nice that it worked perfectly! Totally worth the slight up charge. I researched bikes in order to find a hybrid bike that delivered more road performance than trail, at a reasonable cost. This one fit the bill and I believe is a clear winner in the price range $300. It does take a while to set up, and you should understand bikes or bring it to a shop to handle that for you. I understand bikes and I still became tripped up on the front derailleur, and it took me a couple days of working on it and reviewing video to first see where I messed up in attempting to fine tune it and then figuring out where to set it back to where it originally was set and then fine tuning it from that point again once I realized that's all it needed. The back derailleur and the disc brakes also needed adjustment and I did fine on them though but again, you need to understand bikes and also to comprehend videos on the subject matter. Took the bike for my first ride recently, so this is a maiden voyage review of approximately 7 to 8 miles on steep hills. It performs admirably on hills, where the 24 gears are a must! The bike is a performer for the price! Tires felt strong, frame is solid, disc brakes are great. The seat may need to be changed out for comfort, however, they are cheap enough and for the price of the bike, should not be considered a deterrent. It is better to NOT have a front shock for more road use, as that absorbs energy going up steep hills and that's what I needed this for. Had the bike pushing 40 m.p.h. or over and was very stable. Be sure to check the wheel hub and brakes prior to doing that though. Five stars for the quality on price point and the outlet shipped it fast and delivery time is reasonable. Remember, assembly IS required. The bike is solid but will need some adjustment once assembled though, so your call on how you do it, yourself or professionally, as it can be quite frustrating. If you were worried about quality, don't, it will get the job done for leisure to intermediate riding endeavors I believe based on my first take. The bike is just perfect for me. I am a 80 year old lady and the workout room is closed so this was my best solution since I live in Texas and it's to hot to go for a walk. I bought this bike this summer to use as my main form of transportation. So far I'm pretty happy with this company and the bike I bought. My bike arrived sooner than expected. I didn't have the patience or engery to assemble it, so I went to my local bike shop. The shop said that there were no issues putting it together, like missing or broken parts. Customer service is friendly and easy to get a hold of through their facebook group and they answered all questions I had promptly, like the exact measurements of the seat. Before purchasing, I had took the fit quiz to find my ideal size. I got the evryjourney 24 inch 7 speed bike in teal and it fits perfectly. I'm 4 foot 11 with a short inseam and have had a hard time in the past finding bikes that fit well and don't look too childish. I have the Women's Evryjourney in yellow and I really enjoy it! I get compliments on it whenever I am out riding. This is my first "cruiser" type bicycle and I can say that I am 100% converted! I will never go back to a mountain bike; sitting upright with the slightly forward pedaling motion and having my arms relaxed is a game changer. No more sore wrists and shoulders from leaning over the handlebars. Overall, I am pleased with the bike. I have a few reasons for taking a few stars away on the review: 1. The brakes are squeaky and they feel almost cheap. In reading other's reviews it sounds like this is an inherent issue due to the smooth texture of the rims. Smooth brake pad rubbing on smooth rims = squeaky brakes. I also don't 100% trust the brakes if I were going at a moderate to high speed. They just don't seem to engage very strongly and I don't fully trust them to stop me quickly if I needed to. Riding around the neighborhood with my kids is fine (this is mostly what I use my bike for), but I wouldn't feel comfortable going much faster due to the brakes feeling "flimsy". 2. My front fender arrived bent and the paint had cracked where the bend was in the metal. I submitted a warranty claim with an explanation and pictures of the bent fender, and I was sent a tiny bottle of yellow paint. Painting the cracked paint doesn't fix the bend. Disappointed that sixthreezero didn't fully fix the issue. 3. Getting the bike took FOREVER. I pre-ordered it and expected it to arrive on the date that was listed when I pre-ordered, but it didn't arrive until several months after I was originally told that I would get it. I get that COVID created a high demand for bikes, but seriously. Don't promise your customers that it will arrive on a certain date when they order it if you can't deliver on that timeframe.JenP

I heard about this brand/bike from my sister in MI. She got an AroundtheBlock version and told me all about it and urged me to get one too. I ordered an EVRYjourney 7 speed. I ordered it on Jun 26 and received it earlier than expected on July 3rd ( I am in CA). I was so excited to get this bike and give it a try. My last bike was a normal mountain style bike that was not comfortable to ride for a long period of time. My son (who has put together thousands of bikes for his job) put my bike together quickly and easily and I was off riding away. This bike is like riding in luxury; it’s comfortable, easy to shift and I can ride it for a reasonable amount of time with ease. I love it so much that I have told my friends about it and they all have them now and so do their friends. Their customer service is top notch too. I have actually called and then hung up because I found my answer or didn’t want to wait and they called me back…twice!! I have never had anyone do that before. After getting the bike assembled, which was not as easy as other reviews state, there was a grinding noise. We took the bike completely apart and found the belt was not on correctly. It took FOREVER to get it back on. After fixing that there was an issue with the tension cable. After working on this bike for a while it is finally usable. The price is fair, but its not worth much money in my opinion. Spend a little more on a better bike. The overall look of it is good but it doesn't function properly.Brittnee

This exercise bicycle is easy to use. I had a sore knee for weeks. I noticed soreness was less after first use. I have used the bike for 2 weeks and knee pain is gone. I was away for a week and mo issues with knee. I start using it again today. This bike displays distance and calories burned. The seat and back cushion are comfortable. I bought this bike several years ago, and have been very pleased with it. I am 97 years old, stagger around with a cane, and have very little strength. This bike is good for me. It's very easy to get on and off – the seat is chair height, with a back and arms making it secure to ride. Other configurations like upright bikes and rowing machines are difficult, and those requiring you to stand are impossible for me to use without falling. I ride this bike for 30 minutes a day at a resistance setting of 5 within the range of 1 – 8, about what I remember the resistance of peddling a real bike at about 10 -15 mph to be. The bike has a very good price; it has the essentials and no more. Other than occasionally tightening a few screws, I've had no maintenance problems. I have two criticisms: (1.) The adjustment for riders of different heights is cumbersome, and (2.) The little computer displays operating time, speed, distance, calories , and something I don't understand. It is difficult to zero the display at the start of a run; I just keep punching until it eventually does, and the calorie count never zeros, but who believes it anyway. The same is a problem with the scan function – just keep punching and eventually it starts working. For someone like me who needs aerobic exercise, but is too old and feeble to go running in the park, this is a great machine.William

I previously commuted daily 10 miles RT to work on a non-electric cyclocross bike in SLC, but just moved double the distance away. This makes commuting much easier. It’s about 10 miles and 900 feet elevation gain to get to work, and this thing takes it like a champ. It’s essentially an electric moped. You can get as much of a workout as you want, and I pedal hard to reduce strain on the bike, but I could also get there in the same amount of time without sweating if I wanted to. With the racks, it carries everything I need and the upright posture with fat tires and front suspension ride like a dream. The cold temperature definitely affects battery range, but I probably wouldn’t have any range anxiety (without charging at work) unless I moved >15 miles away. It goes great in the snow and ice and I haven’t needed snow tires yet this year. I haven’t taken it on any trails, but it would probably do just fine. However, you’re probably not going to have fun riding this beast on single track with really tight corners. The lights are ok. Front light is bright, but I’ll need to aim it higher. The rear light gets covered by my panniers, though, so I had to put my own blinky on. Mechanically, it seems well-built, with simple but high quality components (for the price). The cadence-based PAS is sometimes unpredictable, but you’d probably have to spend a lot more for a mid-motor bike with this much power. So long as you don’t draft behind cars at intersections (which you should never do), it’s not much of a problem. This is a no-brainer commuter car replacement if you live within 15 miles of work, no matter the climate or road condition. I think the future of commuting is e-bikes like this one.Brian J.

This is my first ebike so I really only have standard bikes to compare it to but overall I am disappointed. First of all the assembly process is really tough due to the weight and various hardware used. The bike comes with an Allen wrench tool but it is extremely flimsy and only fits half the screws. Luckily I had the tools already to get it assembled. After that I went for my first ride and realized all the quality issues; rattles, brake pad dragging, metal torquing sounds when turning. I’m 6’1” 195 lbs but this bike seems to be under a lot of stress making the ride a very nervous experience. I finally decided to take it to a bike shop to have it tuned which was really tough due to the crazy heavy weight. The shop told me the components (shifting, gears, brakes) were cheap, low quality, and not very well aligned for the frame. He did the best he could, and it is better but there’s still occasional brake dragging, gear issues, and the strange metal strain I mentioned. It makes riding the bike at speed a very nervous experience, like it’s going to break at any second; something I never feel on my other bikes, even the ones that cost 1/3 of the Aventon. I really wish they would have used the Shimano components shown in all the pictures and videos. With all the quality issues I would say the bike should cost about $700, not the nearly $2k I spent. In summary, it looks like a really cool bike with great styling but I regret buying it and wish I would have spent the money on another more dependable brand. I’ll most likely sell the bike (at a steep discount) to someone who wants to replace all the cheap components (fork, shifter, gears, pedals, brakes) and hopefully make it into a decent bike.Wick

A good bike for the price – it has a powerful motor and appears to be well-manufactured, but time will tell over the next years. A few items to consider before purchasing the bike: it is very heavy, and there are two weights out there – the heavier one (~75 pounds) is the actual weight with the battery. Thus, you still get the bike on a trailer-hitch solid carrier, but it requires precise force if you do it yourself. Then, more importantly, if you live in a mountainous area like we do (Park City, UT), you need to consider that the 200 mm breaks are relatively weka when you go downhill – due to the weight of the bike itself, you easily accelerate to 40+ miles, and because the bike is so heavy and solid, you do not really feel it (it is more like a lightweight motorcycle). But if you have to break on a steeper decline, you better be prepared – you simple have to be aware of it and go slow enough (and not let the fun of speed overwhelm you). It it ok but you have to be aware of it. Then, even though many Youtube videos might suggest this is also a great bike for light trails – yes if it is a gravel road but nothing more. The hard tail is heavy and you get every bump right into your back (despite the rather comfortable seat); the fork is overwhelmed very quickly – this bike is a great cruiser on pavement and gravel, but don’t take it onto the single tracks. Finally, the 45 miles at level 1 might be possible on even terrain and no wind, but since the bike is so heavy, we get a maximum of maybe 25 miles out of it – but this is mostly at level three and with a heavy incline on the way back home (which is a steep downhill at the beginning). Still better then driving the car, we bought this for grocery commutes and to run errands within the mileage stated above. I could see this bicycle performing very well in a flat city – our electric car also suffers from the mountain roads regarding the promised milage per charge. All in all a good choice for what we use it – and time will tell how early it will be to get spare parts etc. If you purchase it – enjoy it, it comes with a lot of fun 🙂Joerg R.

My wife and I bought an Aventon Level and a Level Step-Through on Good Friday this past November (about three months ago). The weather here (Oregon) has not been amenable to riding our bikes so I thought I would wait a while before writing the review. I now have about 100 miles on my bike (half as many on the step-through) and feel prepared to review it. Before I get into it, let me just say the bikes are perfect for what we are using them for. We are both retired, so we don't "commute" on these "commuter" bikes. Instead, we are just riding them to have fun and to get around locally when we are RV-ing in our motorhome. I am 70 years old and thought using a bike for transportation was in my rear-view mirror, but it's doable. REVIEW: The bikes are fun, fun, fun. Never having ridden an ebike before, I was blown away by the power, acceleration, ride, and overall speed. And still am 100 miles later…The gears are smooth, as are changes to pedal assist, and the throttle is silky. I use throttle mostly for leaving a standing stop without having to pedal first. The pedal assist is great and the range seems excellent too (haven't tried beyond 20 miles yet, but there were at least 4 bars left on the Energy Bar when I went that far). Everyone who rides our bikes has the same reaction – "WOW. Just WOW." Minor criticisms: 1 – C'mon really? No lights? I would have paid a bit more for an integrated illumination system, especially if it ran off of the main battery. 2 – Unboxing – they were packed well with no missing pieces, but QC coming out of the assembly plant could have been better. I put both bikes together myself (pretty easy) and then had a bike mechanic finish off the fine tuning. He noticed that the front tire was mounted backwards on the wheel (there are directional arrows on the tire showing which way it should rotate). Also, the front rotor was slightly bent. Luckily, he was able to address both issues fairly easily. Other than those two issues, he complimented the components (for the price range) and seemed fairly impressed with the bikes. He said a lot of ebikes use shoddy components, but these don't. My other criticism is the keys to the battery release mechanism seem hard to take off the bike and feel like they will ultimately bend and maybe break. Bottom line – I wouldn't trade these bikes for anything and look forward to years of soul-satisfying fun… JayJay D.

This bike is fun and rewarding to ride. It's become our favorite way to get around town. The assist is responsive and the controls are intuitive. Assembly was straightforward for me to do at home (though there are a few strange steps like a plastic part they tell you will break off [and it does] and to pull out the broken part with pliers.) My main issue is that the battery life so far (2 full charges) isn't up to the promised range and much more importantly the battery gauge is just terrible. The promised range is 45 miles or so on pedal assist (I have never gone above assist level 2 and don't use the throttle). For the first 8 times I rode the bike (about 2 miles each time) it behaved sensibly, with a few percent of the battery going away each time. Two weekends ago we went on a slightly longer 8 mile ride and the battery started at 40%. No problem, we thought, it's got 25 miles on the odo so should have 20 to go, more than twice what we're doing. On the 4 mile ride there (downhill) the battery estimate dropped to 20% halfway there (so in 2 miles). We turned off the assist for the rest of the way down (the battery then thought it regained 10% charge), then used the assist biking home and by halfway home the battery was oscillating between 10% and 0% seemingly at random. For the last two miles it was barely helping. So it's really fun to ride but I no longer trust the battery indicator at all, and the range estimate is not accurate – we had about 30 miles on it total when I got it back into the backyard with 0.0% battery.Austin B.

I want to give my Aventon Level a fair review being objective as best as possible. From a consumer point of view where I want to get the most I can for my money I think overall the bike was a ok/good purchase but not great or excellent 4&5 stars. The best thing I like about the bike is the frame, good finish, paint and welds, nice rear rack. For the price consider the things you are not getting, torque sensor, rear suspension, built in lights and medium quality for other components. With over 250+ miles on the bike and my first flat tire there were many components on the bike that were not great for my taste. I did not like the quality of the handgrips, handle bar, lack of adjustability with the stem, the tires are not great, flat uncomfortable seat, the fenders and rear rack seem like they just have black primer on them. The brakes are very good and grippy but very loud, to the point you might be ashamed at breaking around people! I have not checked but they feel like a sintered pad. Under heavy front wheel breaking I feel some play in the headset which is not good. Now I think you are going to have to spend money on any bike to make it fit you and your situation, make it practical for you to use but I think there were too many items on my list and I wished I got better components overall for what I paid. I am always on assist level 5 pedaling trying to go 24mph+ and I feel the drivetrain is not matched very well with the possible top end speeds. At high speeds on the tallest gear I'm pedaling at very high rpms without adding much to the forward progress. The M5 backlit lcd display is not great for me, it does this weird thing were it predicts how much battery you will have in the future under current conditions. I wished it just reported actual battery charge at that moment. My round trip to work is about 12 miles. On the way there the display usually reports no drain at all on the battery. On the way back the battery charge goes up and down sometimes down to two notches. When I finally stop getting home and stop it goes back up to about half way. I just ignore it now so its not very useful. All of instructions also said to download the app! And then its like Oh to bad you did not pay more for the color display, no app phone connectivity for you… You could buy a decent used motorcycle for this kind of money, or an EScooter or a different EBike with twice the battery and range. With all of that in mind now that my wife is looking for an EBike I'm pretty sure its not going to be an Aventon sorry to say. I can get more for the money somewhere else.Marcos F.

I’m a talk gal. Long legs. The large frame fits me perfectly. The seat adjusts front to back by a lot do I found my perfect position. The shifter shifts so smoothly. I live in west coast florida so fairly flat. 7 speeds is sufficient. The pedals are wide and my feet are very comfortable on them. I really like this bike and for me that’s saying a lot. I’m a Giant rode bike owner and a Raleigh all terrain bike owner. Both of which I love. This is a nice addition.Jeanne P.

Love this city bike in blue with brown leather, the cute look of a beach cruiser but with the lightweight and speed of a city bike. It shipped so fast, got here in 5 days before Xmas!!!! Love the slim tires, pretty easy to put together, I did I myself in about an hour. So far I took it for a couple of 5 mile rides and it’s riding great. Looking forward to doing a longer 25 miles trail, let’s see how it holds up. Overall very happy, after saying I wanna get a bike for two years, I finally did it and love it! I was looking to begin commuting via bike and for something to cruise around with my partner. I legit do not know how to ride a bike, so I did not want to spend a bunch of money on something. I also didn’t want to have a vintage bike bc the shifters seem confusing to me. I’m 5’4” but for some reason I have a shorter inseam than I thought, and the diamond bikes are all just a tiny bit too big. I don’t like the curvy lines of most step-through bikes. The mixte was a good option for that. However, it says it fits people 5’ & I don’t think it would be a comfortable ride for anyone smaller than I am. I love the aesthetic of this bike and it’s a nice ride and fit. I had my partner take it for a spin because I have no experience for comparison. Others say it’s heavy, but I can lift it with moderate effort. Though i do not have to move it up or down any stairs. I docked a star because the gear shifter handle bar is really tiny. I like that my hand rests on the shifter and that the handle including the shifter is similar in size to the other handle, but it still somehow seems too small. Also, the outward angle of the handle bars make it impossible to read which gear I’m in. Not a big deal once I get more comfortable, but I live in a hilly area, so I’d like to have a sense which gear I’m in and which gear I prefer for various grades. The shifting did need quite a bit of tuning and tweaking. My partner took care of it because she likes to help and it was a quick refresher for her to learn (she rides a fixie), but others may have to pay someone for that work and should be aware that would be an additional cost, though I understand it’s to be expected of a mail delivery bike. One more tiny bummer is that the basket I ordered was confirmed then retracted for being out of stock. But the bike arrived really quickly, so it’s okay to wait for the basket to come back into stock. Overall, good bike for price.Tori L.

I just got the Marcy Magnetic Recumbent Bike and it is absolutely amazing! It has endless cool features. It comes with eight different levels of resistance. The seat has adjustments for long and short legs. Not only does the screen track your distance it also tracks speed, time, calories burned, and odometer. The seat comes with a very comfortable cushion seat, and the bars are made of foam so it will not hurt your hands to hold on to while you are cycling. The foot pedals have plastic bars that help you hold your foot in place while using the bike. It has a maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds. The assembly time is about two hours but it took me less than that. The instructions are very thorough and simple to understand as you are putting the bike together. Overall I would highly recommend this product to someone that is motivated and dedicated to losing weight or bettering their health overall.Bri

This is a standard seated bike that is good for occasional use. The bike came unassembled in 11 pieces and was very easy to unpack. The instructions are okay if you are good at putting things together, but the instructions are not very descriptive for beginners. Once the bike is assembled, the rear “feet” do allow for adjustments so that the bike does not wobble during use. In addition, there is a third knob for adjustment in the middle of the bike to ensure that the bike is stable. Negatives: – The bike does not come with batteries for the center console, so you will need to purchase 2 AAA batteries separately – The ledge on the bike display is too shallow and cannot be used to prop up your phone or tablet safely – At higher gear levels, the resistance does not feel smooth when peddling – When you stop peddling, you can hear the gear slide inside – You can only peddle forward, as there is no resistance available going backward – Bike seems to be made for taller people. At 5’3”, the shortest settings just barely allows me to ride comfortably. I would not recommend this for anyone shorter than 5’2” unless you have longer legs – Bike display is dark and does not have a backlight – Screen is a little bit far to reach if you are sitting back against the back rest – Bike has wheels in the front but is not easily roll-able or movable Positives: – Bike is very smooth on the low resistance settings – The seat and the backrest are very comfortable to sit in – Bike has arm rests/bars to hold onto while biking – The bike is extremely quiet – Foot pedals have adjustable straps Overall, this bike would be great for someone taller who is looking to bike casually or who is just getting back into fitness. This bike is perfect for me. I bought it for cardio and knee-strengthening exercise since the Y pool is not offering aquatic classes during the pandemic. I use it 30 minutes a day, five days a week, and feel stronger. I'm 79 years old, and average weight and height, and while it's perfect for me, I'm not sure that it would serve the needs of someone younger and heavier who wanted a more vigorous workout, as it is not as stable as that might require. I also highly recommend the Handy assembly provided by Walmart. Although it seemed a bit expensive, the technicians were very professional and did a great job.Virginia

Both rims on bike were not true, I am a pretty good bike mechanic, I had a spoke wrench, and I could not true them. As a result, the brakes did not work properly, they rubbed on the rim high spots all the time…… Also, derailleur was not adjusted right, it would not shift into low gear. I emailed Firmstrong Help and they reacted immediately and had me go to a local bike shop to get rims trued and derailleur tuned. They paid for it! I was impressed, I did not even ask them to pay. Bike works perfectly now…………So this bike would be a 3 star if Firmstrong had not taken action, it is now a 5 star bike. Bike now works perfectly, it is very smooth, perhaps the smoothest riding bike I have ever owned, the steering is great, I love the cruiser handlebars, since the allow me to ride upright instead of bent over like some hunchback………….and the saddle is very wide and comfy for my large butt. If you are into comfort, this is your bike! I am tired on those bikes where you have to lay flat on top of them and your butt is so sore from those horrible hard seats you cannot even enjoy the bike ride.Kenneth W.

After watching and reading many reviews about the various spinning bikes and the dual action bikes, I definitely leaned towards the dual action bikes. I wanted to use a bike that worked both lower body and upper body. Once that decision was taken, the SCHWINN AIRDYNE AD7 was a no-brainer. Many users seem to use the bike for HITT, so I was wondering if it would be good for LISS as well. Not too many reviews about LISS, but the few that were out there convinced me that it would be doable. I have the bike for about a month now and use it daily for fat burning as part of the LISS. My goal is to burn about 300 cal while biking and keeping an eye on my heart rate zones. It takes me about 50 minutes of biking around 38-40 RPM. Lost already 3 lbs, so it seems to be working 🙂 People say that the bike is quiet, which is not exactly true. It doesn't make any mechanical noises but the wind generated through the blades makes some buzzing noise, enough to require a higher volume of the TV or phone while listening to podcasts etc., but that is just a minor critical note.Stefan

I really wanted to ride along with my 6yr old, but back pain left me unable to bear it for long. Purchased this because I had knee replacement surgery..No instructions provided, had to download off XTRERRA site….I found the instructions difficult ( and I put many things together over the years), Called support….next to useless. The first guy I spoke to "wasn't familiar with the machine." He went to look at one and hung up on me. Next guy read the instructions to me…..I can read, thanks. After 3 hours of struggle, done. Got on machine and found the seat brake was defective. After three or four rotations, the seat would slam forward and drive my newly replaced knee into the center pillar. I called support, Mike told me yep it's probably defective, he will sent me the part but I need to take the machine apart to replace with part as they will not provide labor. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE….Nothing, Nada, Zip…No help….I would give zero stars, but apparently one is the minimum….Now I have to take it apart to send it back and 3 of us have not been able to pull the two main pieces apart!pj in California

A little tough to assemble, took a while to realize the cowling part was screwed together, but after that it went okay. I purchased this bike because all gyms have closed because they have been deemed to be non essential. I have back issues and walking for more than a mile is painful. This recumbent bike allows me to get in my aerobic exercise. This bike is pretty close to the ones at the gym. I was surprised at how sturdy it is. The programmable functions work great. This is a very good, sturdy stationary bike. I bought for my wife (at her request) and she finds it to be comfortable and easy to use. I tried it out and liked it. I am used to using the high-end ones at the gym and this is not bad comparatively. I would give it a 5 star but the directions in assembling the seat/brake were confusing and the plastic cowling on that area did not fit. Also the adjustment lever was very stiff and I didn't realize at first how much pressure I needed to use. I read a review on Amazon where the person had a similar experience. A couple of the screws were stripped, causing me to break the plastic cowling. I called Xterra and they were very helpful and have sent me new plastic pieces for replacement. Very good customer service.Gary

I like this bike a lot, much more than my previous one that i eventually wore out!The handlebars being close is very important to me,love the design of these,the screen is very good, (but is fit for tablet only, NOT a phone! ) The seat is comfortable, back also and believe me I am VERY picky! First and foremost, it is easy to assemble; one person is enough. So far (after about a month of use) the product itself is very good. The ball bearings are smooth, the seat is comfortable, and the resistance settings are good. Would recommend.jdodgerblue1-2

I have been looking to purchase a Recumbent Bike that had good reviews from variously users. I had no idea there were so many different types available. The reviews on the Sunny SF-RB 4806 were very good so I went ahead and ordered one. They predicted a delivery date and it arrived on time. There is some assembly required. Their user manual is easy to use. I needed some assistance on an area I was having some trouble with so I called their support group. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and how knowledgeable Ashley was. She knew exactly how to instruct me to fix my area. She even suggested sending me a short video on this. I followed her advise and my bike was ready to use. I was and am still impressed on the quality and the quietness of this bike. I would certainly advise a new Bike user to use their products.
