First the bad news…the seat was terribly uncomfortable, but I changed it out with a nicer gel spring seat I already had and that made all the difference. Also, some assembly was required as it had been pre-assembled in the factory but then partially disassembled for shipping in a large rectangular box. The bolts/nuts were so tight I needed help from a friend but we eventually got it together with the two of us. Then I tried out the gears and each gear "caught" so I had to take it to a bicycle repair shop who tuned it up for about $40. Now I LOVE IT! So for under $300 I'd say I got a good buy in the end. To me, it's a very nice looking bike and I do not regret my purchase…besides, with the Coronavirus issues, I was lucky to find a bicycle I like in this country for sale.CindyRock

I live in a very humid, tropical environment where sulfur emissions from a prior lava eruption continue to pollute the air and cause everything metal to rust. After our 1960's Schwinn cruiser bicycles became rusted beyond repair, I searched online for new bikes. The sixthreezero bicycles looked really cool and the prices were fantastic. I did not expect the quality to be anywhere near as good as it is! It is extremely comfortable and a breeze to pedal also! The paint color is very retro and cool; people compliment the bike whenever I ride Amazingly, TWO years after I have purchased it, my bike has NO rust anywhere! This is practically unheard of in our location! We live 5 blocks from 3-month long active lava eruption that continues to emit sulfur into the air three years later! If I had to say something negative about the bike, I can't think of anything I would change about it! Their customer service team is top notch! Anytime I email them, they respond almost immediately! I bought this bike to try to get in better shape. The reason I wanted an electric bike was because I wanted to push myself and then use the electric only to ride back if I pushed myself too far. Plus I needed a way to get back home to accommodate multiple musculoskeletal issues that I was afraid would leave me stranded and struggling to return on a manual bike. I haven't rid a bike in years so I was hesitant to spend this amount on a bike I hadn't test driven and I lacked confidence in my physical ability as I have multiple disabilities. First off this bike has changed my life. I started off riding a couple miles and being tired. After a few weeks I was up to 5 miles multiple times a week. I'm so excited to have a means of exercise that gets my heart rate up, doesn't exacerbate my disabilities, and is enjoyable. I have had my bike for 2 months now and last month I rode 70 miles and met the weekly recommend moderate activity for multiple weeks in a row. I have done 7, 8, 9 mile rides so far. I originally thought I wouldn't get my heart beat up much with an electric bike but to the contrary. My fitbit shows my rides and where my heart increases to fat burning and cardio. Now I have plans by the end of March to ride 6 miles to work and 6 miles back 2-3 times a week. I couldn't have even imagined this goal as a possibility 2 months ago and now this is realistic. This bike is comfortable and is a joy to ride. The seat is cushy and comfortable. The hand grips are comfortable. I have issues with my hands and was worried about pain but this hasn't been a problem and I'm quite comfortable with the grips and angle of the handlebars. This bike is sturdy and comfortable. The battery lasts a long time. I could probably ride 4 or 5 days 5-6 miles a day until I need to recharge. I usually recharge every 2-3 rides but that is because I'm the type of person who fills my gas tank up when it is 3/4th full. I see the battery go down two bars and I'm on it with a recharge. The cons: I had a squeaking sound and couldn't figure out what was causing it, but I didn't look. I assigned figuring it out to my boyfriend and he said he was going to try some WD40. I'm not sure if he used it or did something but the squeaking sound went away. My breaks squeal a little. I haven't walked through the steps they provided to do a break tune-up so it is probably user error. I think I'm going to assign this to my boyfriend too. The battery came loose a couple times cutting the power. I just noticed it was tougher to pedal and stopped the bike to push it back in. The final con was I really wanted the cream bike but after waiting for three months global supply issues meant I would likely have to wait another three months. So they gave me an option to wait or switch to a bike in stock which is how I ended up with the Navy bike. It is very nice looking and I'm pleased even though it wasn't my first pick. I highly recommend this bike. It was easy to assemble. I think it took me an hour because I carefully read and reread instructions to make sure I did it correctly. I love this bike. It is super comfy and gave me an outlet to be physical activity. I was really struggling with the prospect of never being able to do anything physical until I got this bike. So I'm serious when I say this bike changed my life by giving me back my life. Now I have cute little accessories on it. Love it and look forward to many rides to come.Jeni

After purchasing an electric bike from Six Three Zero for myself, and being pleased with what I got, I ordered a second one for my wife, a 250 w Around the Block. I am just as pleased with this one as I was the first. The assembly instructions were straight-forward, all the parts were there, and it went together easily with a minimum of adjustments. I experienced one problem, with the lock for the battery, but that was instantly dealt with and a new replacement arrived in a matter of days. My wife had not ridden a bike in a long time, but she is now enjoying joining me on our tours of the country roads that we are lucky enough to be near. I heard about this brand/bike from my sister in MI. She got an AroundtheBlock version and told me all about it and urged me to get one too. I ordered an EVRYjourney 7 speed. I ordered it on Jun 26 and received it earlier than expected on July 3rd ( I am in CA). I was so excited to get this bike and give it a try. My last bike was a normal mountain style bike that was not comfortable to ride for a long period of time. My son (who has put together thousands of bikes for his job) put my bike together quickly and easily and I was off riding away. This bike is like riding in luxury; it’s comfortable, easy to shift and I can ride it for a reasonable amount of time with ease. I love it so much that I have told my friends about it and they all have them now and so do their friends. Their customer service is top notch too. I have actually called and then hung up because I found my answer or didn’t want to wait and they called me back…twice!! I have never had anyone do that before. They are easy to work with and very accommodating. I ride my bike frequently and have gone about 15 miles a day with complete comfort and no issues.snowhiker

I’m only in my 30s but I already have some serious back, knee, and problems. I'm a 46 y/o wife & mom who has struggled with chronic often debilitating pain for more than 15 years. I underwent a three level cervical discectomy and spinal fusion. While the chronic pain is behind me I do still have some lingering issues. I had a basic beach cruiser for years, but there are so many hills in our area I just couldn’t ride anymore. I needed a bike with gears. I put weight on during this Covid-19 lockdown. I wanted to be able to ride again. To say that I was hesitant to purchase a bicycle online would be an understatement. I did an enormous amount of research and compared bike after bike. I narrowed things down to the EVRYjourney and one other. I read tons of reviews. After doing my research and reading review after review I still had a couple of questions about the bicycle options regarding the 7 vs 21 speed gears. Chatting with a rep online was the right way to go for the help I needed. They suggested the 21 speed EVRYjourney since we do have so many hills in our neighborhood. My order was placed and it arrived in 5 days. I am in Southern California so other states would take longer. It was packed very well. No scratches or damage whatsoever. My husband assembled my beautiful cream & orange EVRYjourney in less than an hour. From the very first ride I was in love! The seat is big, nice and comfortable. The most comfortable bicycle seat I have ever had. I have had a fractured tailbone, so this is something I was worried about being a possible issue. The more upright sitting position of this beautiful ride means the bicycle riding isn’t making me feel like I’ve been beaten up afterwards. My back isn’t hurting. My knees, neck and shoulders aren’t hurting! This means I get to enjoy riding and getting my health back. I added a basket to the front so my Maltipoo could ride along with me and he loves it! I bought this bike in peach two years ago (during the beginning of the pandemic). I love it! So, I decided to get it in my favorite color (PURPLE!) for my upcoming birthday. The front wheel was warped. Walmart had no immediate way to resolve the problem. So, I bought another of the same bike. Again, the front wheel was warped. I called the manufacturer and had to provide lots of proof, including a video. They are going to pay up to $25 for me to get the wheel fixed. This has been a major hassle!Trinity

I'm not exactly the steadiest person in the world (or the most graceful) so when I needed to look at options for having a bike as a way of transportation, I started to do my research. Now it took me a few weeks, I even borrowed a few, 4 different bikes from friends to try out. I finally knew which brand I wanted, Kent, but I didn't know exactly which style or color, so I walked into my local Walmart and started test driving them all! I rode quite a few bikes throughout the entire store. (sorry Walmart!) But as soon as I sat on the rose gold Bayside, i knew it was a perfect match!! I ride this bike everywhere! Thru everything! It runs so smooth and makes it so easy for me, that it's perfect for an old girl like me. Ive ridden it through the rain, I ride it in the scorching sun, uphill, downhill, even against the wind, and its still riding as smooth as the day I bought it! Promise, it's well worth the money that you spend on it and it's a fraction of the price at other places! Atleast once a day, someone compliments me on what a beautiful bike I have. I do love this bike but I was not happy by the main part to the handle bars being striped to the point where I cannot ride it without the handlebars falling down. I did reach out to Kent where I got immediate assistance and my part to fix this issue will arrive in a couple days. It was also very difficult for me to put the bike together, you do not get any tools even though you need tools, and specific tools to put the bike together ( wrench, allen keys etc. ) and you will be dealing with brakes so I do recommend having a professional put your bike together but I will say inside the box I got a card from kent stating if you bring the bike to Walmart they will put it together for free- so don't buy the 65 dollar fee to put your bike together because ITS FREE! I do wish that the bike didn't take so long to be delivered but I realize that COVID has messed up the ease of buying a bike. I would estimate about 2-3 weeks it took to receive my bike from the date of order. Now on a good note- the seat is super comfy!! The bike itself rides smoothly and the color is beautiful. I will say that I thought this bike would be too tall for me being I am 5'1 and this height was recommended for 5'2 and up but on the lowest position and you are able to tilt the seat forward too, I was able to sit on the bike and hold myself up off the floor without falling. The cutest bike that ever was. The olive green color is awesome. It's great for quick rides around town and I love the step through design (skirts and heels to dinner are doable!). My boyfriend assembled the bike for me and said it was fairly easy to put together. The metal chain cover arrived bent causing the chain to catch on it. We had to bend and pound the metal piece to fit. Overall the bike is best in my opinion for flat commutes. If I lived somewhere with more hills I'd be bummed because first gear is sometimes not low enough for steeper roads (which compared to other places I've lived are still pretty mellow considering) and I'm not sure the 8 speed would fix that issue. I'm also 5'5" and find the handle bars a tad too far away from the seat, by about an inch. My body position is in this awkward not-leaning-forward-not-sitting upright position, which gets a bit annoying after awhile. That said, for a price tag of under $500 including tax and shipping, I can't complain. It's great for what I wanted and I get compliments everywhere I go 'cause it's cute af.Brittany D.

A very solid bike for the price point. Is it trying to do anything fancy? No, but it is a great option for someone looking to get from A to B without breaking the bank. When I was researching this as a gift for my girlfriend, I noticed a few complaints about the weight and the build quality. To those points, I would say the following: Weight: overall, the bike is not super light, so it can be a little unwieldy when trying to load it into a vehicle. That said, it is not too heavy, and rides fairly smoothly. The bigger factor is how the weight is distributed across the bike (center of gravity, in essence). Most of the weight feels like it sits between the rider and the rear wheel, with the front feeling very light in comparison. This is not an issue in any way, but it does create a bit of a learning curve for cornering, as well as for stopping on down-slopes. Just be aware that it will take some getting used to. Build quality: lined up with what I would expect for the price point. The frame and primary components seem solid, and while some of the smaller nuts and bolts for things like the fenders are a little on the soft side, they didn't present any issue for me on install. As a side note, I did the initial assembly of the bike upon receipt just to make sure nothing was missing or obviously damaged, but I took it to a shop for final alignment, tightening, and tuning setup. There were no issues to be found, and it was pretty intuitive to assemble, to the point where I almost didn't need the instructions. What I will say is that the brakes needed significant adjustment out of the box, which is part of the reason I entrusted the initial setup to professionals. My GF and I have ridden the bike several times now on variable length trips (1 mile – 20 miles), and the bike performed reasonably well for all use cases. The seat did get a touch uncomfortable toward the end of the 20 mile trip, but not to the point of being unbearable (I should also mention that this is coming from the stance of someone who is not used to sitting on bike seats for any length of time). It rides and shifts well through the midrange gears, but gets a bit noisy in the lowest gear, and the highest gear is feels like it really only wants to be used when going down a pretty steep hill to try to build speed. The weight in the tail is also very noticeable when climbing steep grades, encouraging the rider to lean forward more than usual, but not to an uncomfortable degree. Overall, this is a very usable and well priced bike. It isn't perfect, but it exceeded my expectations. I have not had it long enough to comment on long term reliability/ serviceability. P.S. I would strongly consider upgrading the brakes if planning to use this bike in hilly environments or as a daily rider, just for a bit of extra stopping power and response. The rear brakes in particular can feel a bit soft, especially when traveling with loads such as groceries.Colin R.

Firstly, the parcel was sent in the thinnest, least-protective box imaginable. I've gotten Amazon boxes of cotton balls more fortified. It was also shipped via FedEx Home Delivery, which means it was subject to a contractor's whims and handled roughly. It not only came late, but the box had several large holes and I'm pretty sure some of the hardware fell out in the process because it was missing two bolts. The derailleur hanger was bent upon receipt as a result of banging around for days and days in transit. Now I have to spend additional money and time having it repaired. They quoted us $100. Retrospec did refund just under that, so they did make it right in that regard, but it's now been two weeks and I haven't gotten to ride my bicycle once. I can't review the actual bike yet, but I wanted to call out the shoddy box and the choice to use FedEx instead of UPS, which is consistently better for packages like this. Just a bit of extra padding, especially for models with a delicate derailleur, and I would have been singing its praises and having fun on my vacation instead of feeling sad every time I see someone else enjoying a bike. That said, the color is beautiful. The saddle and grips are rather cheap-looking, but those can be replaced.Jessica M.

I purchased the Classic Step-thru for my wife’s birthday. Because of our current health situation, I had it delivered to our home. It was very easy to assemble as most of it was already put together. There was some minor scrapes on the fender that required touch up paint (which was provided in the box along with a handy hex key set for assembly). It looks great and she loves the ride!Tony H

Left brake lever is making noise the entire time you ride this bike! I'm not talking about squealing sound from brake pads when you press the lever, no. I'm actually talking about a constant noise coming from the lever itself when you actually don't press it! It's like something is lose inside the left lever and even if you ride on an asphalt road it makes the noise the entire time. As a matter of fact, the only time it's not making the noise is when you press the lever to brake! It's so annoying. Also, the saddle is very uncomfortable, so I decided to try the saddle from my other bike on it, however I couldn't unscrew it! (to remove or adjust the saddle)! It's so overtightened in the factory that it's impossible to unscrew it! And believe me I'm not weak! I'm a man with enough muscle to unscrew these things and I'm into biking for years. There were also some chipped paints on the bike when I received it (I picked up the bike today from store). Overall, a big disappointment and waste of time. I'm returning this bike. In my opinion this is a very overpriced low quality bike from a big brand. I've had a higher expectation from Cannondale. Good thing that I bought it from REI, at least I have peace of mind that I can get my money back and purchase a better bike.Life12

I got tired of the drop bar position of my last road bike and decided to try the disc 3. With a few minor changes I'm pretty happy. I swapped the cassette out for a Shimano 11/36 for better climbing and got a slightly wider bar than the stock bar. The disc 3 is fairly light and the steering is very fast, meaning I've got to watch that i don't overreact when entering a sharp turn. Overall its a fun bike and i can take it anywhere i used to ride my old Topstone,Lazlo

Light, agile, responsive, and fun! The SP connection built into the handlebar mount is great. My phone locks in and off I go. The Cannondale app works well and was easy to set up with the sensor already mounted in the wheel. It gives gives excellent instant feedback. The geometry is good for me, I’m a 5’5” female with shorter legs and longer torso. So far, I’ve only done city riding loops of 10-15 miles at a time. This is my for fun riding bike.Kenneyc

Purchased almost 10 years ago and still riding! I ride a few thousand miles a year, rarely tune up, and this bike has been a gift that keeps on giving. Got it largely assembled. No issues until I pedaled the bike and the chain immediately came off. Found the real wheel was sent mounted crooked. When loosening the nuts to adjust the wheel, I found they must have been tightened by He-Man, must have been on at least 100ft/lbs. When straightening the wheel didn’t correct the issue I kept looking and lo and behold the frame is bent. Uploaded a pic showing the front wheel in line with the down tube, and a pole in line with the down tube in one, and with the wheel in the other to show how far off it is. No damage to the box, was assembled this way. For the price I was not expecting a stellar bike, but this is uncalled for. Had to return. Bummed out daughter.Lovesnewproducts

I was scouring Craigslist for a deal on a Schwinn Cruiser, but ended up purchasing an Urban Man cruiser via the Firmstrong website when I realized I could get something new, lighter and customized to my needs for a few dollars more. Went with the single speed in chrome with decals removed. The purchase process was easy and price was right. I love the way it looks and rides, and it's extremely comfortable. Solid bike! Well packaged, few minor scratches on painted surfaces. Bike seems to be well made with good components (bearings, hub and crank. Bike looks great and is light for a beach cruiser. I should have bought this bike 5 years ago instead of the 2 others that I bought and ended up replacing due to poor components. I usually average about 30 miles a week as a cool down from work-outs. Previous cheap big box store bikes usually lost spokes and the brake hub had issues and never felt right. I think it will last me a while!David F.

I bought this bike clearly for looks. When it arrived it had the wrong size fender (made for a smaller wheel) so now I am riding around with only one fender, which looks ridiculous. I've called Hayneedle and am waiting for a response. Additionally the seat is surprisingly really uncomfortable. I couldn't ride for more than 20 minutes due to needing a break from the seat. I probably would not have purchased this bike if I had known prior to buying it.John

Hard to get. Had to pick up from a store 15 miles away. It came assembled which I did not know was going to be the case. Make sure you have a bike rack or a big trunk. Rear brake very loose. Rear wheel not completely aligned. Came that way or happened in car? Don’t know. I have had this bike for over a year and still love it. I ride it on short rides (5 miles or less) and it is perfect for the price and what I need it for. As a middle aged person I have to say the front shock and extra shock on the seat post are absolutely awesome Features and make it feel like riding on a cloud. Honestly not sure what I would do without this in college. I've had this for a year now and it is still functioning just like when I first purchased it. I love it so much that I decided to write a review for other college students looking to buy a bike. The fact that this bike has gears is a definite plus (don't get a cruiser for college) for when you're riding up/down hills or late to class and need to get there quickly. The back rack clasp is perfect for holding large items; I've used it to carry a sleeping bag and even used it to carry a rolled up mattress topper when moving dorms. I've even had friends sit on the back rack when going places and have had no problems. The back rack has the additional perk of being able to install side baskets to carry smaller items like mail and bags. Because of the slope-shaped frame, you can also install a lock holder so that your U-lock can be conveniently held against the frame. It comes with a bike stand, which is important to have if you want to lock your bike to itself instead of finding something to lock your bike to. I also love the electric blue color of the bike! It stands out and is easy to find when I park in busy areas. Overall, this bike comes with everything you need for a college bike, and I'm confident that it'll last for all four years.Alisha

My OLD hardtail finally kicked the bucket and I'm broke, so I picked this up just to get back on trails. I was planning on getting something more robust in the future, but I'm really digging this Trail 5. I've never ridden on 29" wheels and was a bit leary, but they actually are very nimble. They clear everything, too. A lot less skittish than 26" and TONS of traction. The AdventX 10 speed drive train is actually really nice. I'm riding singletrack in Colorado and frequently use all the gears s the range is perfect. They're quiet and quick. The clutch keeps the derailleur & chain from bangin' around. No complaints. I haven't hit a point yet where the lowest granny gear wasn't enough to get me up the trail but I haven't tackled anything hard core. I don't think this bike was built for that. Not with the Suntour XCM at least. My main beef is this shock fork. It's a pogo stick! If you're thinking of doing some singletrack, get ready for an interesting ride. The XCM can't keep up. I'm already shopping for an upgraded fork. It's fine for a smooth gravel trail or dirt road though. Overall very confidence inspiring. It's a very fun ride for the casual biker. And I LOVE the color! I bought this bike 3 months ago and it’s a awesome bike for the price! I ride this bike hard and it holds up good. Upgraded to tubeless tires and rims and some Chester pedals with ergon grips and this bike is amazing. The fork is great you just have to tune it a bit to get the most of it. But when you do, your going to feel like 100mm of travel is perfect. I find myself ride this bike more then my 130mm travel bike. Also the 2x drivetrain is great. At first glance I thought that I was going to have a hard time with it but I was wrong. I had no chain drop and the gear ratio is great for the climbing I do. And yes 1x Drivetrain would be better but you really don’t need it you can use a old inertube as a chain stay protector. This bike is perfect. Yes you are limited to fork options. But there is still a lot of good forks in the market like a suntor 120mm air fork. But if your in a budget like I am. The 100mm fork is perfect. Also I just love hardtails.Brayan

Took the bicycle right back for tuning and REI said something bent during shipping and fixed it so the gears shift flawlessly through all 10 gears. Gear range is huge from normal top and to extremely low, the spacing is perfect. Replaced the pedals with Shimano metal flat pedals. Replaced the seat with WTB SL8. Ride this bike every clear day at lunch for at least 5 miles. Riding is fast and a total pleasure, what a wonderful machine.Gary

I bought this so I could ride with my daughter. My daughter had a brand new Schwinn that things kept breaking on and her grandpa can only fix it so muc. So she took my bike over the Huffy. Then it started messing up, the gear shifter continuously kept breaking, popping the chain, causing her to continuously put it on, even in the pouring down rain, because she rides to school. I went ahead and bought another huffy beach cruiser this time for myself, on the pricey side. Walmart jacked the prices up on all the bikes, even the Huffy I bought that she was riding was price jacked up $50 more than I bought it for the first time. So her grandpa had to reconfigure to where she couldn’t use the gear shifter and just leave it on one gear. The chain would still pop. And now the tire has popped, a huge pop, not the tube. The problem is the bike tire is 27.5 x 1.75, and I can’t find the tire anywhere. I have searched and searched. I have not been able to reach anyone with Huffy. I think I have located possibly one tire, however it’s a third of what I paid for the bike. Around $65 for the tire. Nothing happened for this tire just to split like this while she was riding home from school, nothing in her way. And now I have to pay $65 plus tax, and shipping if I can find it or not. This tire is an extremely rare size tire to find. But Huffy doesn’t answer the calls, and this bike turned out to be a piece of crap with everything we’ve had to fix. So now she’s riding my beach cruiser, which she hates, because it doesn’t have hand breaks, just good old fashion back peddle breaks, and it’s slow. She’s an 8th grader and in our county for schools the kids backpacks weight approximately 50 lbs, plus they have to bring a school issued computer to and from school everyday and she packs her lunch. She doesn’t even weight 100 lbs yet. I’m going to have to buy another bike and now this one is over $200 at Walmart, because it will cost me almost as much to fix it as it would to buy a new one. The quality control of Walmart bikes is bad. I had purchased my first one and the shift gear could not be tuned because of the design. Then I bought this one and picked up this bike in package but unfortunately found the bike frame was seriously scratched when I almost finished the assembly. The scratches appear right at the Letter “U” on both sides, so I guess the scratch happened when the logo was attached. I decided to return it, though it took me quite a while for the DIY assembly.SY

I absolutely love my bike! Bought it at my local Walmart store already assembled. I wasnt picky on the bike I chose since bikes are slim picking these days ever since the pandemic. I was looking for either a beach cruiser with gears or a comfort bike with 27.5 wheels. They had a single speed cruiser and this huffy. I wanted gears so I picked this mint green huffy. I immediately took it to my local bike shop and they did a basic tune up and adjustments. And I have been enjoying riding my bike every single day! This is the 4th bike I've purchased at Walmart through the years and I always took my bikes to a local bike shop to ensure its assembled properly and can be ridden safely. I highly recommend this bike and I also recommend that if you purchase any Walmart bike, please take it to a bike shop before riding it so a pro bike technician can set it up correctly.Bobbysgirls
