Best Bike Racks For Minivans (2023 Update)

Purchased our matt black Kuat NV Base 2.0 bike rack to transport our two Gazelle Ultimate T10 HHMB eBikes. The bikes weigh 51 pounds each so we were looking for a rack that would easily support that weight. After doing our research, talking to several bike store owners and reading reviews, it was quite clear the Kuat rack was the right choice. Additional factors that influenced our choice, the integrated cable lock – hitch lock system and the Kuat bike ramp accessory. My wife and I are in our 60's and the bike ramp makes rolling the 51 lb. bikes into the rack quite easy rather than lifting them up and into the rack. Installation was very easy, taking about 15 minutes to assemble. Instructions are very clear and all of the tools you need are provided with the rack. Our rack is attached to a Nissan Frontier pickup truck with a factory installed 2" trailer hitch. The truck tailgate can be folded down completely when the rack is down and no bikes in the carriers and the rack can be folded out of the way with a simple lever. We are very impressed with the fit/finish/quality of this rack. We could not be more pleased with our purchase.NWA Steve

Just received, assembled, and installed it, but can already tell how well built it is. With the exception of the rear wheel strap ratchets, which feel a little flimsy, everything else is super solid. I've read some negative comments that it is hard to assemble, but that was not my experience. I got it together on my own in about 20 minutes or so, and that included unpacking and then breaking down the box for recycling after. It's literally just 5 bolts required to put it together. Yes it would be easier to assemble with two people, but if you can't do it by yourself, you'd have no chance with a piece of furniture from IKEA! Literally, just read the instructions (or use common sense) to figure out that putting it together upside down is easier. And no, all of the parts will not lie flat even when it is upside down, but a few rolled up towels, or riding shoes, or whatever else you have lying around the garage strategically placed under the base and rails will line everything up without a second pair of hands. Oh, and note that the adapters for fat tire bikes and small wheels are included in the box, so there is no need to contact Kuat for them after purchase. This is a seriously solid and nice rack. Incredible build quality. You are definitely getting what you pay for. Hold bikes solid. Every part and piece during install feels premium. The only difference between this and the normal NV (not base model) is that one you can get in orange or silver, and has a built in work stand you can use when the rack is up. But you can buy that separately and add it to this rack as well for nearly the same as the price difference between that model and this base one. The black on black looks great. I wouldn't want any other rack after getting this one. Worth the higher price for sure. Built in locks are cool, but could be longer.CoffeeDrinker

We were a bit apprehensive at first, not necessarily with the bike trailer, but more or less with the 1.25 hitch that we had to opt for as the dealership misinformed us on the size of hitch compatible with outback.I am happy to report we have had no problems with the sturdiness of this bike trailer as we were afraid the 1.25 would result in a wobbly outcome. As other reviews mentioned the trailer itself was a bit difficult to assemble. However once assembled and loaded it was exactly what we needed. We are comfortably and securely able to load our 2 Trek bikes and have no problem with the arms or straps. The only complaint is the thickness of the pin used to lock the trailer to the hitch. Could use a better pin something a bit thicker and sturdier for it to feel very secure.JAAM

First off, I'll mention that assembly was a bit harder than I thought it would be. The long bolts connecting the two pieces of frame together took a bit of finesse (and a rubber mallet) to get them to slide in and line up properly. It helps if you take the part of the frame where they screw in (on the outer rail) off first and line that up separately. Once I figured that out, the rest was a breeze. I really like the ease of use with this thing – bikes go on and off in just minutes. Way easier than it used to be trying to squeeze them into my car. I also enjoy how light it is, and how quickly it comes on and off the hitch. Although the price is a bit high, it is well-made and worth it. Highly recommend.Nate

There are things I like about this rack, but I think it's quite overpriced for what it is. I found it easy to attach to the hitch and I like the overall design – the arms feel secure, I like being able to fold the rack easily, and it does hold my bike well. I was also able to use the farthest rack position as a makeshift bike stand while I did some work on the chain, which was handy since I don't have my own stand. However, for this price point, I expect more than to have to use my own cheap Velcro strap to secure a mountain bike with average/slightly wide tires. I'm not using some kind of niche fat or cargo bike here – why doesn't the Kuat come with an integrated, high-quality strap for this purpose or better yet, a design that doesn't require that extra step at all? I also find the ratchet strap for securing the rear tire to be poorly placed. You can't get the bike on the rack without crunching the strap down and having to yank it out from under the tire manually, which is definitely increasing wear and tear already. Finally, the lock that comes with the rack for securing the rack to the hitch felt very cheap and online reviews suggest it can be broken very easily (a problem when you live in a high-theft area, which is not Kuat's fault), but it did lead to an extra cost to buy a more secure lock. Long story short, I'm glad I have the rack and it gets the job done, but it's premium pricing for an average/good product. I can't give a 4 or 5 star review when the value is skewed like that. Looking for a bike rack made in USA, the Grand Slam 4 caught my attention for its simplicity and price point. I was concerned about using the adapter to fit my 2" receiver, but it's been easy to use and I believe the design prevents swaying or flip flopping around like you may find on lower priced racks. This is fitted onto a Wrangler with a 255/70/18 spare with room to spare….your mileage may vary.Chris

We bought the Grand Slam because it met all the criterai we were looking for: hitch rack, holds four bikes, economical. It was easy to assemble, easy to install/remove from the hitch, and it works like a charm. My only criticism is that there are a couple of pieces of hardware needed for the rack to work with a 2" mount. The rack came with no instructions for that part of the assembly (Saris, please include that in updates.). It was remarkably easy to assemble after watching a YouTube video.Josh

This is practically a 5* item. It fits my 21 Civic Sport Hatchback well and I didn't need to use the spoiler kit since the spoiler has a gap between the window. As installed, the rear wiper works just fine. I thought I was going to have to use the angled rubber bumpers but that was not the case. The flat ones are fine. THIS is where I take a star off. In the step to tighten the cables, it says to crank until you hear 2 clicks. I cannot get to 2 clicks because it pushes so hard on the glass OR the body of the hatch that it literally started to push the glass in away from the seal or create an indentation on the body. So, I settled for to "creaks" of the tightening apparatus. Weird to say but I can confirm it's tight, stable, and is OK. The flexibility to mount the bike(s), move the arms, fit the car, the locking cable (which I didn't even realize was part of it when I purchased), all good stuff. I'm looking forward to many uses of this rack going forward.Peter

Without a hitch mount, I chose this so that it could stay mounted on our hatch and still be able to raise it (something that could not be done with Raceway model). Once mounted, it's sturdy and should work well (I just installed it). My only complaint is with the stabilizer blocks. Thule should include a short block so that the bike can be secured while hanging vertically and not out at an angle. On our SUV the bike hangs close to the rack.alex19

Compact, solid and hold firmly the bike as intended. Do feel the clearance between bike for a two way carrier is tight even if you have spacers between provided. The cable torque that holds the carriage for some reason does not completely lock in place as recommended with a click sound. Instructions as everyone mentioned is completely not helpful at all. You either go through YouTube for a guide and the added harness for the spoiler support is nowhere to figure how it is placed. Also, the packaging of the items with all the moving parts is not well thought off. The boxes inside don't really make any sense to secure the items inside. By the time you receive the big box its either broken or you can hear the parts banging to each other. Thule should have placed this on a rigid foam instead of boxes. Or either put dampers of foam inside so that the parts will be secured in shipping and moving. They cut down on packaging cheaply and price products very expensively steep. Way too steep as if they hold the bars in terms of carriage in the market. Hope this makes sense for the company to make better consumer experience not just for the money.JyCruizer

Having fenders is no problem, Just drop the arm just in front of the Fender. My E-Bike is 55 lbs & this rack has no problem supporting the weight. Loading my bike is very fast & easy.The front cradle holds the front tire securely & the rear tire sits in a shallow channel. Kuat does offer a ramp witch would make this process even easier. The integrated cable locks are a good way to lock your bike during transport. The Rack over all fills heavy duty & solidly built. Cosmetically it’s very beautifully painted too. Cons, The key hole to the Cable locks has a little spring loaded cover in the hole. So you have to put the key in at a angle to push it out of the way. It took me a Minet to figure that out.Mike

Ok, I love my biking and hate my bike racks. To say that most are put together with string and bailing wire is an understatement. I had one brand that was so top heavy that I honestly thought I would lose my bikes along the highway somewhere. That is until I bought the Kuat from REI. Expensive!!!! I bought the NV and then the doubler so I could have 4 bikes at once. I have been beyond impressed with this rack. Solid, stable, easy to use and very secure. Every part of this rack has been thought out and engineered to perfection. I know this sounds kind of over the top for a review but as a dentist, I look for details and precision in everything. This delivers in spades. I cannot say enough good things about it. So just suck up the price and appreciate the incredible quality that you are going to get for the money.DrKK

Trek Farley 5.0 (large frame) with 27.5 x 4.5 tires (Bontrager Gnarwhal Fat Bike Tire). Kuat phat bike kit installed. Cradles in lowest position. The ratchet arm will not come over the top of the tire without leaning the bike, swinging the arm up, then centering the bike/tire under the arm. Attached is the video Kuat sent me. This metjod is fine for one bike, but with 2+ bikes that need to be leaned, the other bikes get in the way. Kuat support says "Unfortunately at this time we do not have a solution". It seems like a nice rack otherwise, but Kuat's specs are misleading.Stephen K

I bought two of these after my roof rack and 599 big mouth bike holders were damaged by a tractor trailer. I own a small minivan, mazda 5, and the rack is just high enough that I can just reach so there's always the potential for some difficulty putting a bike up there and this carrier exacerbates the issue. Without a decent tray the front wheel wants to turn and fall off requiring the fork to be held while leaning the bike to get the clamp past the stays and crank, but if the tray is remotely damp the rear wheel will slip out instead. The big issue is the tray really doesn't keep the wheels in place. I've since bought replacement 599s with proper trays and use these two as backups, I've had a lot of thule over the years but with the tray style these use, they're awfulruss

I am an avid cyclist and have used Thule products over the years along with others but keep coming back to Thule. My cycling has moved away from straight road and mountain biking towards gravel cycling. This rack is excellent all the way around and works well with a little prep; put the pedal facing you at the 4-5 o'clock position, push the straps behind the wheel holders, lift the arm up to about 40 degrees. I grab the seat tube and front fork on my BMC Road Machine and it goes right up and drops into place. I don't worry about it either as its stable as a rock at 70mph on the highway and off road at least up to our drop in points. I would not have mountain my prior mountain bike up top…its just too heavy for me to navigate…fit for purpose…hitch mount. It is sad to read the review where the bike shop installed this rack on a Subaru Crosstrek incorrectly, yea read and follow the simple instructions if you are going to mount it driver's side [reverse the jaw/holding arm first…]. Not that difficult. The jaw always opens facing you. In my opinion for a roof rack that lets you keep your front wheel on, especially those of us with Thru Axle's its the best. The pro ride XT is slick and holds onto the bike very tight. It is very easy to use when you actually read the instructions and put it onto the right side! Who knew?! And when lined up properly and tightened right it had no wobble cruising at 100km/h and 80km/h with winds, other than small shakes. Very impressed. Unfortunately It seems THULE decided that security should cost so you have to but the locks separately which just added to the already huge price. But it should last me a long time. Although the compatibility chart indicated this model would work for a VW 2019 Beetle, that does not seem to be the case. Because of a little “spoiler” on the top of the trunk, it is basically impossible to attach the rack securely.NYCSue

I purchased this rack, and after assembling it, I discovered that I can’t insert my locking pin into the receiver. Kuat offset the hole so the rack can fit into either a 1-1/4” or 2” receiver. You have to use the pin that comes with the rack, but you can’t lock the rack into the receiver. They give you a cable lock to lock your bike to the rack, but without a way to lock the rack to the receiver, a thief can just remove the rack, and a bike if it’s on the rack. What an idiotic system. I’m not a big fan of Yakima because their overpriced and the quality has gone downhill, but at least their adapter collar allows their 1-1/4 rack to properly fit into a 2” receiver so you can lock the bike rack into the receiver. You’re better off buying a Yakima.RadBean

I drove 200 miles to pick up my Transfer V2 two bike rack for my Prius, so I needed the 1.25-2" shank. There was one left, being held for me which was good service by REI. Upon returning home and assembling the rack (the instructions are good so it is easy, though takes time) I discovered that the shank, which is the male end that slides into the receiver hitch, was 2" and not what the box said. I called Kuat and explained the problem to Angela in customer service. She's sharp and grasped the problem, saying that somehow the incorrect rack was put in the box and she would have the correct shank sent overnight, not the usual "you should receive the package in two to three weeks" from too many companies, while you do without whatever it is. This was astoundingly great service from Kuat and by Angela. She is obviously a 'people person', as had been other customer service reps at Kuat when I had called for rack advice previously. Not just polite, but happily volunteering information and advice, no doubt reflecting management and owners. I chose the Transfer V2 on the advice of a Kuat rep and am very happy with it. The build quality is good, it is easy to use, and the built-in system to stabilize the rack in the hitch works solidly. I once owned a bike shop and have had numerous racks over the years, so have experience. I highly recommend this rack for a person who doesn't, for some reason, need the features of one of the other Kuat racks, but if they do choose another model I'm sure they will be just as happy.LouisG

Bought this today thinking I would be able to use it this weekend. One of the front tire cradle bolts was cross threaded when trying to tighten the puck. Called support and they were very responsive. A replacement cradle assembly and hardware is on its way. Also noticed rust coming out of the non-locking end on the U arm. Quite disturbing considering I’ve paid for a brand new unit in a sealed box. QC must have missed this one completely and wonder about factory’s storage (outdoors?). Non-locking end cap also broke at the screw hole as I tried to make it fit onto the U arm. Extremely tight fit. AWESOME, well built. One of few racks that can handle 3 bikes on CLASS 1 hitch without voiding a cars warranty. I wanted to carry three bikes on a class one car hitch without voiding potentially the car warranty. Only the Thule Helium 3 bike and the Saris Bones 3 bike fit the bill as both are very light weight. The Thule is made in aluminum and the Saris is only 16lbs I believe. First of all, despite the issues I have with this rack, it is a good rack that requires a degree of faith when fitted but after 4 hrs with a bike fitted I have not had a problem. My first issue was when building it. At first the instructions seem ok but they are not precise enough and, as I found out, it is very easy to fit a part the wrong way round. Secondly one of the bolt holes was not pre drilled so had to do that myself. Fitting the rack to the car was simple enough and only takes five minutes to do. The front wheel element has two settings, standard & 29". My mountain bike has 27.5" wheels and did not fit the standard setting so I have to use the 29" option. For me this was not an issue but I recently came across a Facebook post where some with the same size wheel and tyre could not get his bike to fit unless he deflated his tyre. My final issue is its size, it is big and doesn't collapse at all for storage, surely they could design some way of making it easier to store? Despite my gripes I do like the rack, especially the upright design meaning the bike doesn't poke out of the side of the car ( especially in lanes on the way to my favourite trails!) and you don't need a light board. It is definitely worth looking up the road test video to see how much movement there is and what it can cope with.Jontym

I use this rack on a 2009 Toyota Venza. I had trouble finding a rack to even fit my car (as I have no trailer hitch) that would carry two bikes, and this fits the bill. I am pleased with the rack overall. I did have to purchase a separate part from Saris to use with my Venza. You can't use the metal clips on the window on the side (there's no metal around the sides of my rear window), so I had to buy different straps with little foam cylinders to go inside the window. It would have been nice if those had been included. As another reviewer noted, no matter how I crank down those bottom straps, they keep coming undone from the bottom of the hatch and flopping around. I don't think it makes the rack less stable, because it's really being held in place by the top and side straps, but it's really annoying. The other modification I had to make, and this isn't really the fault of Saris, is that, because I have an Electra Townie, it doesn't fit perfectly in the rack. Because it's a pedal forward design, the bike has a longer base than a regular bike. It rests _almost on_ on the bottom holder but the included strap wouldn't quite fit. I bought a small nylon buckle-style dog collar, and it works well. My car is kind of tall, although it's not as tall as a regular SUV, and I'm 5'5". My bike and my son's bikes are not super lightweight, and it took some time before I was very good at getting those bikes up there. It can be kind of unwieldy and a bit of a knuckle-buster, especially for a woman, to load. I think I've gotten pretty smooth at it now, and it's a good opportunity to work on that upper body strength, but if you've got a bad back, you want to think twice. I don't want this to sound like a negative review…it's not. I do like the Gran Fondo, and I don't know what I would have done without it. Not have a bike rack at all, I guess. It looks cool, it fits my car, I feel confident that my bikes aren't going to fly off the back of the car on the highway, and I can load it myself. But it wasn't pop it on the car and done.Marcia

This rack is very sturdy and well built. I have this on my Durango and still have room to park it in the garage while attached. This does not work with full suspension bikes without the additional Yakima toptube bar accessory. You need one for each bike that doesn't have a traditional flat top tube. There aren't any racks of this design that will accommodate suspension bikes to my knowledge. Anyways, I have it a 5 star only because they didn't include the toptube accessory other than that I'm pleased with purchase.abelnaz

I shopped around for a hitch bike rack for a number of months before purchasing. My mom had gotten the Yakima Swing Daddy last year and loved it so I decided to go with the Yakima FullTilt. I've had this rack for a few months now, and it has worked extremely well. The longest trip I've taken it on was about 200 miles and it held up well with bikes. The only complaint I have is that the rack only came with one stabilizing strap for tying the tire down.Vard

Took me about 20 minutes to put this together. The instructions are pretty straight forward, and easy to follow. They remind me of Ikea instructions. It can hold many sizes of bike tires, and doesn't touch the bike frame, which is pretty much a 'must have' feature for me. It's super easy to load and secure a bike on the rack, and would really take something catastrophic to have it come out unintentionally. It's fairly light for it's size, which makes taking it off the car when not in use simple to do if you'd like. I use it to transport a mountain bike and a road bike. It does 'bounce' a little with the mountain bike on it, but it doesn't sway at all. This is the reason I gave it 4 stars (I would have done 4.5 if possible). If the bounce wasn't there, it would get 5. In Mike's review, he said the only thing holding the rack to the car is the safety pin, which is incorrect. If you tighten the knob shown in the video starting at the 2:07 mark, that expands the shaft in the receiver, and keeps it from moving around. You then lock the knob to the base, and then the rack can't be removed from the car- unless you break the knob and have a tool to loosen the hex bolt inside the base of the rack. The safety pin is only there in case that knob should loosen somehow- the pin keeps the rack from falling off the car.LeeJ

I purchased the INNO Bike Hitch INH110 but, unfortunately, I am not happy with the purchase. The first thing I noticed when completing an inventory out of the box was that I was missing the six CAP BOLT M8 (instruction description). After contacting the INNO parts service and discovering that they did not have the bolts in stock, I was left with the unenviable task of finding the bolts locally. I asked parts service about simply taking the bolts from another box but was told there were none available. This resulted in me going to my local Home Depot and asking for assistance in allowing me to take various size M8 bolts to the car to determine which would fit the hitch. It turned out to be the M8X1.0X25mm bolt. Assembling the hitch was easy. I then inadvertently discovered that after “correctly” securing the ISP 1068 Safety Pin to the vehicle’s trailer hitch and “correctly” securing the SP 1074 Knob/lock, a fatal flaw was discovered in that I could physically remove the entire INNO bike hitch from the vehicle by simply unlocking the ISP 1068 Safety Pin. This means no manner how I secure the bike to the INNO hitch, a thief can simply undo the ISP 1068 Safety Pin and remove the entire INNO hitch “and” bike without difficulty. Hopefully, I have solved the problem by securing a bike lock cable to the INNO bike hitch and inserting the cable through the vehicle’s hitch post holes. In my opinion, it would have been better if the INNO hitch had a ½" or 5/8" hole to allow a receiver lock bolt to secure the INNO bike hitch to the vehicle. I would not recommend this hitch because of the fatal flaw.Michael1764

I wish I could have seen a chart of what vehicles this item was best suited to. The chart is on the back of the box, and it indicates that Nissan's Rogue Sport is NOT one of the recommended applications. Therefore I have found it rather challenging to securely install it on my vehicle, but I think I have found a way. As far as the product itself, the construction and material qualities are EXCELLENT. It is thoughtfully well-designed and constructed of powder-coated heavy gauge tubular steel and fittings. As a retired product testing technician I do recommend product.Wayne

I purchased this bike rack this morning to take my bike 60 miles to go on a ride with a friend. The rack was easy to install and worked like a charm. When I got home I started reading reviews on it and couldn't believe the issues I was reading. I had no problems with the hooks or with the feet lifting off while driving. I drove across the Chesapeake bay bridge, down highways at 65+ mph and across multiple speed bumps and down a section of highway that was being repaved so there were some good bumps at highway speed. Now I have only used the rack with 1 bike (hence the 4 stars rather than 5) and have only used it for 1 trip. But, so far so good. My only complaint is that I purchased it in store at Walmart and paid $60, and it wouldn't let me buy online and pickup in store the same day even though there was 3 sitting on the shelf in front of me (but that's a Walmart complaint, not a product compliant)Coco

Beware! I purchased this product based on the picture on Walmart.com of the product. When we brought it home, we took it out of the packaging and quickly looked it over. Unfortunately, we threw away the box and several days later, we went to mount this on the vehicle. It did not have the 2 side straps and was completely unstable and unusable. I wrote to the company to see if I could get the missing straps. I was told to send a receipt and picture of manufacture date. It turns out that it was made in 2015. I bought this in August 2020. The company told me that the side straps were not on there in 2015 and that was it. I now have an unusable product. If you buy this, make sure it has the side straps as pictured before you throw away the box. Overall I am content with the function of this rack, but several things could and should be improved. The good: loading and unloading the bikes is fast and easy. The rack fits into my 2” receiver with minimal play and locks down with the supplied bolt. Low profile and folding feature works as expected. The not-so-good: their is play in both pivot points with no way of tightening, so the rack bounces a little when loaded. Also, the release mechanism rattles inside the rack. This rattle is loud enough to hear inside the vehicle, when all windows and doors are closed and driving down the road. So while the rack feels safe and secure, the design allows for excess play and noise that are mildly annoying. So far these issues do not affect the safety or performance of the rack in any way.MNSwede

I bought this bike rack this week and installed this morning. The installation to the hitch mount was pretty easy to do. The only thing that isn't great with the initial part is that the bolt that came with the rack does not go all the way through to the other side of the hitch receiver. Luckily, I preemptively order a hitch lock on amazon, so hopefully that will solve that part. The other issue is that the bolts for the mast are difficult to tighten without a wrench to hold it in place so you can tighten the bolt. If you plan on driving and hitting bumps at speeds higher than 35mph you will see some movement with the bikes on the rack but the rack seems to be sturdy enough on the first trial run with bikes loaded. All in all, I think it's a good rack for the money, but only time will tell. I think if you can get the next level Thule products it may be worth the investment for more peace of mind when driving.Cfosse

The rack is a much better solution than stuffing my bike into a Subaru hatch. The rack made my cycling life much better. However, the hard plastic anti-sway stablizer and band, scratched the paint off my mountain bike where contact was made. Being a mountain bike, I wasn't too concerned, but the bike was newish and clean. The rack also gets loose in the hitch after riding around some short distances, and I have to tighten bolt all the time now. I got a hitch stablizer coming that I hope makes things better. Alas every bike rack solution seems to have a built-in flaw. A shelf rack is probably better than a hanging rack but the shelf racks stick-out pretty far, and they could get lose as wellJohnse0

Went to a local bike shop who normally sells another brand which was sold out because of supply chain problems. For less than $200 who needs China? Buy this made in Wisconsin all steel well designed well priced product that does what the European and Japanese brands do.Rick

This is a great two bike rack that I had about a year or two ago on my old car. It worked perfect on it! I got a new car last year and just got this rack again for it and it says that it’s compatible with my new car. I used it a couple of times and just now noticed that the bottom part of the rack had dented the trunk and left nasty scratches that now I’ll have to pay for since their customer service is garbage. Don’t put a vehicle on the list that isn’t full compatible… if you get this rack I recommend putting some extra padding on the bottom part of the rack or it could possibly damage your vehicle. It says it holds 70 lbs of bikes. The two bikes I use with it are way less than 70 pounds and the way the trunk is shaped causes it to push in and the metal ends up scraping the trunk. It should be one long foam padding on the bottom instead of one piece of foam on each side.Hunter

This rack might be able to hold two childrens bikes, but definitely not two adult bikes without serious problems. I would imagine the rubbing and bumping together just to get them on the rack would damage the finish…not to mention traveling with them. Theres just simply not enough space between the brackets. Its also the dickens to attach to our Equinox, even though it specifically states that it fits this car. I wouldnt want to carry more than one bike on it, and you need an additional bar (sold separately) to carry a womens bike. We returned it!Beverly

Great price $ and quality. Very solid construction and basic sturdy design. I have a MTB 29,r – 39lb. – this rack can hold 70lb. Single bike racks are usually 35lb. Weight capacity. Only have 1 bike to transport, but didnt want to risk the weight factor. Best thing out there for the $40 dollar price! Highly recommend. WAGWAG

Easy to assemble and very solid when attached to my Motorhome. As the fixing points were already won the MH some of the components were not required. And also the plastic cover for the top fixing does not cover the existing attachment point. Perhaps Fiamma should provide an alternative. All in all very pleased with this product.124_jhow_124

Could not find quality bike carrier or any at all, looking at local stores and specialty shops in my area to use on my new fiat 500X. This item was well priced, well built, easily to assemble and even told me to order the separate top support in the description. (which I did, and it fit perfectly) This carrier also has the directions to mount it on my other cars! I could not be happier with the quick delivery, cost and quality.acelawler

This one bike rack is awesome, just what I needed, very simple and easy to install on to the car I didn’t have to fight and get frustrated over senseless directions, it took just a few minutes to install.
