Just used this dryer for the first time and absolutely LOVE it, lots of power to dry my shoulder length and very thick hair. Have gone through so many cheaper dryers that have started burning and smoking, no heat, no heat levels other than low and high and no cool down option. I received this product in exchange for my honest review through the SparkReviewer program. I have used this hair dryer almost every day since I received it and it is definitely a great hair dryer. I have compared this hair dryer with my old one and this one definitely has the other beat. Even though it doesn’t take a long time to dry my hair, this hair dryer dries my hair 33% faster. I actually timed how long it took with my old hair dryer and this one and this one was faster. I love how it is very, very light. I was surprised how light in weight that it was considering that it is ceramic but there is hardly any weight to it. It isnt as loud as other hair dryers either. I do feel like the hot setting isnt as hot as my old one, but since this dries my hair faster that isnt a problem. The only con that I have with this dryer is that it is very easy to hit the switch on the dryer while you are drying your hair. When holding the hair dryer, your fingertips rest basically on the buttons and it is very easy to flip the switch since you barely need any strength to change the settings. I was so excited to get this item to review! First of all, I had never heard of double ceramic and I know ceramic is good heat for your hair. The box was very nice and neatly packed upon arrival. To my surprise, and the best thing about this product was the weight of the hairdryer. The model I am currently using is so heavy and I never knew how heavy it was until receiving this item, which is a bonus to someone who has thick hair which takes a long time to dry. The time it took to dry my hair was probably 5 minutes shorter than with other brands/models. The external features on this model are identical to my other Conair dryer. I would definitely purchase the Conair® 1875 Watt Double Ceramic Dryer | 565DCR based on its performance. I would recommend the Conair® 1875 Watt Double Ceramic Dryer | 565DCR to others because of its lightweight carrying/holding, performance and due to ceramic being healthy on hair. First off, I love the look of this hair dryer. It is not very big, and the metallic light blue and the silver accents make it a much more aesthetically pleasing blow dryer than your typical clunky bright colored dryer. I like that it is lightweight as it makes it easy for me to hold and maneuver around my head/hair as I am blow drying. I also like that it is not super loud compared to my previous hair dryer, however this hair dryer does not blow air quite as strongly as my previous dryer. Perhaps it is a trade off to consider whether you'd prefer a quieter and smaller hair dryer like this one, or a louder but more powerful hair dryer. Regardless, this dryer still gets the job done and dries my hair at a sufficient speed. I also appreciate the large cold air button, which makes it very easy to continually press for cold air when styling my hair (other hair dryers have a small and stiff cold air button which makes it hard for me to press for longer periods of time). I do feel my hair feels slightly less damaged with this dryer compared to my previous dryer, especially since it is easier for me to press the cold air button to use cool instead of hot air. The ion technology helps, but I don't feel it is much different from my previous hair dryer as that had ionic technology as well. Overall, I have enjoyed using this blowdryer and will continue to use it, though I wish it had a bit more torque/power to it. I definitely needed a new dryer and honestly am really like this Conair SmoothWrap powered by InfinitiPro by Conair. First it came all nicely fit in the box and had plastic wrapped on the different part to keep it from scratching up and breaking. It was easy to figure out even without the directions. The attachments easily pop on and off, but not so easy that they fall off during use. It has 2 different settings for the dryer speed, and 3 different heat settings. The heat settings are cool, warm and hot for different hair types and even states which settings you should use in the manual. The concentrator attachment is for smooth and sleek styles and helps direct the airflow to create that look. The diffuser is for making a wavy look. I had never actually used a diffuser before so I read the directions and watched a couple videos and it was pretty simple to use. Another good thing about this is you can remove the back and clean out the filter which will help your dryer last longer and get you better results. But the thing I really like is that this dryer is just beautiful looking too. I love the color and the design and shape. It is easy and comfortable to hold and not too heavy. It also is not too loud. I have super fine dry hair that is definitely heat damaged, so it’s important for me in selecting haircare products, that they protect my hair. I’d never heard of Dual Ion Therapy, but was exited to learn the science behind this hairdryer—it uses negative and positive ions together to help my restore my hair’s natural balance. Love the style and look of this hair dryer, and it does work very well. The cool setting is impressively really COOL air, and the power in all settings is strong. The reason I am giving this 3 stars (almost gave 2) is because of the strangely SMALL power cord. My last hair dryer had no problems reaching to my sink, so I didn't give it a second thought when ordering this one. It is so short that I will need to get a long extension cord to get it to reach. The last new hair dryer I bought was a used Revlon hair dryer that I got at Goodwill about ten years ago. That thing has been virtually indestructible and I loved everything about it! I am only replacing it now because we have been using it to take up some self stick floor tile and it is not looking so hot. Still works fine so I am moving it to the tool box. When I first started looking around for a new dryer it was a pretty challenging experience. My must have list… 3 heat settings, slide controls and low cost. I quickly narrowed it down to the Revlon Perfect Heat. I know nothing about Ionic Technology, 3X Ceramic Coating, Volumizing ( spell check says that is not even a word ) or Turbo Styling but I guess I have it all. I do know High /Low and Cool/ Warm and Hot, and they can be achieved with just a slide of my thumb and that's all I care about!bet-ya-luv-it

I love using the to blow out my natural hair. I have thick natural hair and this blow dryer really does a great job at getting my curly hair blown out. This blow dryer has cool, medium, and high heat settings. I’m able to get my hair blown out with the medium setting. This is a very good quality blow dryer. This is a replacement to an identical dryer that finally died after nearly 15 years of use. This machine has a strong airflow and gets hot when needed. It has 4 settings: 1) low speed-cold air 2) low speed warm air 3) hi speed-warm air 4) hi speed-HOT air. One switch is RED, the other BLUE, and below, a black (power) switch. The funny thing is that the RED switch controls the motor speed, the BLUE switch controls the heat setting. I'd think that the RED should control the heat and the BLUE control speed. Since I relate RED to heat. The old unit was the same way. I'd recommend running it a few seconds on LOW heat cold air a few seconds before shutting it off. I think that helps make it last longer. I have owned two high priced dryers as much as $400 each. Their lifetime was around two yrs and never really figured out hype. I decided to try this Revlon which cost me a grand $17. It is AMAZING! My hair shines without use of hair glosses. Dries in minutes. Styles free of frizz. Best, hair keeps its beauty even after a long night sleep. Dryer is super light to hold. I purchased this brand and model hair dryer because I had used the same brand and similar model for quite a number of years, and I was extremely satisfied with it. It sounded as though the motor of my old dryer was burning out (on high speed), so I went to purchase another one just like it. This new model also has two blower speeds and temperatures of high, medium, and low; each of the speeds can be used on each of the temperatures. The cover of the lint trap is easy to remove for periodic cleaning (just to get accumulated lint removed). The dryer is light weight and easy to hold. Actually, though, I prefer the shape of the handle of my old dryer, but this one is fine. Another plus was that this dryer happened to be on sale when I bought it; however, even if it had not been on sale, I would have purchased it. It is a good value. I’m pretty sure I’ve only owned Revlon brand hair dryers. When my last one stopped working (likely from overuse) I purchased this to use. I wanted one with a diffuser so I could try my hand at embracing my curls. I use it a few times a week and have had zero issues. You can choose from cool, warm, or hot settings. I have very long wavy hair and sometimes I despise having to stand there forever trying to blow dry my hair because my arms get so tired with regular hair dryers but I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight and compact the Remington Products – Pro Wet2Style™ Dryer was!! I love that it comes with several different attachments, I especially love the detangler/straightener tool! It has comb like teeth and with the vertical design of the dryer it makes it easier to dry and brush and the same time. It took less time to dry my hair than it normally takes and that's a big plus! I needed a new blow dryer, and happened across this one in the store. Very pleasantly surprised! It is very light weight and small. My daughter has thick long hair that takes forever to blow dry. Used this blow dryer with the attachment that can suck in your hair and it cut the dry time in half or more! No tangles or boys with it which I was worried about. Then took off the attachment and finished her roots with my hands and the heat was just right, not too much for my hands or burning her hair/scalp. For myself I have thin fine hair and my hair dries quickly, but has been very dry lately. After using this blow dryer and not changing any other hair care products, my hair was actually softer. I really enjoy using my Pro Wet2Style Dryer. I have used it after taking a shower and my hair is damp after using the towel on it. My hair is long and straight. With using the dryer on my hair, it gets dried quickly and is quite easy to brush after drying it and it styles quickly and beautifully. My hair is kind of difficult to brush after showering and towel drying it because it gets tangled. Using the attachments that come with the dryer help my hair be much less tangled and my hair becomes much easier to brush through. My hair is less damaged after using the dryer and the attachments. The dryer is light and easy to hold while drying my hair. Each of the four attachments are really easy to insert onto the dryer to use on my hair. The buttons are really easy to turn on and turn off the dryer when I am using it and when I am done using it, the cord is a really good size and does not get tangled. The detangler attachment is awesome to use because I can dry and brush through my hair easily at the same time. The blowout boost attachment is cool to use because at the same time I am using it to dry my hair, my hair is getting some lift and does not look so flat. The slipstream attachment is pretty cool as well because I can put a good amount of my hair inside of the open space of it and it dries it and detangles it at the same time and is easy to brush afterwards. I never knew how other women can maneuver both a brush and a hairdryer at the same time. Maybe it’s a simple task for most people, but it’s never been easy for me. That’s why I needed this product. I think it’s an ingenious invention! I have very fine hair that tangles easily, so brushing repeatedly while drying is a must to prevent it from drying up into a big tangle.I will say, this device is quite bigger than expected and rather heavy however, once you get used to maneuvering it, it’s really very intuitive. Just hold out/onto sections of your hair and brush from top to bottom, repeatedly. It helps to separate the hair in layers, too. This device gets the job done fairly quickly with minimal tangling.A final note of caution: The high mode gets surprisingly hot… I’d say it’s closer to the heat level of a hair straightener than a blow dryer. So be very careful not to touch the brush part OR the upper handle with your fingers while it’s on high heat. I think my blow dryer I've been using just went obsolete in my world. I've been fighting curly, unruly frizzy hair my whole life. Been using a professional blow dryer with a specific round brush, and painstakingly drying my hair with the little attachment and a round brush for decades. Gave up on that and started ruining my hair with a flat iron. Still never could achieve that shine I've always dreamed of. UNTIL now. I feel like this thing has been the best kept secret to women everywhere. Works fast, doesn't yank or break my hair, ALOT less breakage noticed in the sink than anything else I've ever used. Fast, and works wonders. The highest setting is truly hot, I only had to use medium setting and it works beautifully. It is slightly heavier than I would prefer, but easy to use for me. A bit loud, but for this hair I could care less. It's shiny, bouncy, and manageable, without a drop of serum or any leave in conditioner, just used a thermal heat protectant spray and voila. I'm sold. As long as this unit lasts, I will be raving about it. Thank you for making my life easier and helping to keep my hair healthy longer. My favorite thing about it? I can let go of the section of hair I'm drying and use the end tip to roll the dryer, and it doesn't burn my fingers at alll. Convenient isn't the word.Tasha

Unfortunately, it is true that this item is very short-lived. While it still turns on and blows hot air, the bristles have become warped and now snag and pull at my hair, severely damaging it. The design of the brush prevents removal of residue (like heat styling products) from being effectively removed — the styling cream gunk builds over time. The "cool air" setting only works with a high fan, so setting styles with cool air is impossible. Also, the labels for the heat settings wore off within a week. While any styling tool will damage your hair, this one is particularly pernicious. I have so much more breakage than ever before. My hair isn't ruined, but I am displeased. Also, the last time I used it, my hair became so hot that I burned my hand — on my hair. That was when I decided this product is going in the trash. It's too bad, because I bought it less than six months ago. While it is easier and faster than blowdrying, you'll be paying for the time gained in remarkable hair damage.Carrie

Ok. Finally I can make a proper review I started giving 10 for the support team (I wasn't happy with the the machine I received) they exchanged super fast, no problem. To me, is hard to say every product or every machine will work for everyone… I am Brazilian and my hair is an unidentified thing. Crazy!! I wash, dry and style 3 times a week. I coloring (cover the grays) and straight 2 times per year. I never buy anything without search every little detail. 3 years ago I saw Dyson advertised and was something I really considered. I went to Ulta Beauty (they just use Dyson) to try on. I hated! But I hate everything the stylists did with my hair. I just postponed. This year I was ready to go. After I use a couple times this is what a thing… Pros: Power button – isn't between your hand (never power off during the process. More volume. For sure! Almost no Hair on the floor or in the hairbrush (definitely last breaking). The hairbrush they sent me for free (game change) I will have one those for ever! Easy to hold e move around. No worries about your hair being sucked by the filter. After I style (with my regular curly iron) I still have more volume than normal. Cons: The machine is light but the electrical cord… oh my! Really heavy. I won't travel with. I didn't have that shine and silky feeling. I didn't gain any time. I always take 20 minutes to do the job with any kind of machine. Presentation – awful! It's a very expensive machine to arrived this away. I have machine didn't cost half the price and come with a beautiful box, wrap with a silk bag for protection and travel. It's like buying a luxury item and arrived at supermarket plastic bag. Overall, isn't perfect. But I will keep and recommend this machine. I asked for this for Christmas and got the blue and bronze version with the storage box. Firstly the products look amazing you can feel the great quality. Secondly I absolutely love how the pieces just magnetise into the dryer – I didn’t actually know how they attach before I got mine and I love just how this happens. The edges stay cool so you can remove easily as well which is a great design feature as no one wants burnt fingers! But the big big plus for me which makes this really worth the money (over the fancy colour and the magnetic attachments) is how much this reduces drying time. I have long super thick 2b/2c hair (curly) and I would usually air dry which would take about 3 hours to completely dry. So I would very much be going into work ‘wet hair don’t care’ but this is taking me only 20 mins to diffuse my entire head of hair which is a complete game changer. Meaning I have lovely formed bouncy curls first thing rather than elongated wet look waves where the weight of the water is dragging the curl down. I have tried the diffuser attachments on my other regular hair dryers by the way but have always ended up a huge frizz ball which I don’t get with the Dyson Also when I want to straighten it look me 40 mins rather than 2 hours using the comb attachment – my hair was practically straight in 20 mins with the dryer then I just went over with the Ghds I love this product I would 100% recommend if you have hair like mineTinK

I've been using the Dyson hair dryer (Nickel/Copper version) for a month. Initially wasn't sure cost worth it, because even at a very reduced price it was higher price than any other hot hair tool I'd ever purchased. Then I watched some videos on using it and the attachments. I experimented with the various speed & heat settings, as well as all the attachments to find they mattered greatly. I'm now convinced I like it a lot & definitely happy to have. My hair type: Lots of fine wavy/curly, short/mid-length. My hair styles & attachments used: Curly/wavy: Use only the Dyson diffuser attachment. Blow out smooth: All Dyson attachments but the diffuser. Section and start with Wide-tooth comb. A little use of the gentle air attachment with a paddle brush & Styling Concentrator with round brush. Finish with the Flyaway attachment, which really really does work/make a difference in smoothing. Usually use the lowest speed setting and heat 1 or 2. While I recommend this product, note that I would never recommend paying the full price. I have the discretionary income & could have paid full, but I waited for a discount and saved lots of rewards dollars over time before opting to making my purchase.What I want 2day

Let me begin by saying I would have given this half a star or less, but since I had to give it at least one star, it is a reflection of how I feel about the color. Pro: I love the orange color and that’s it. Cons: it’s VERY loud; it does not get hot, as in hot shouldn’t be printed on the dryer because it doesn’t even get warm enough to heat up my round brush; it takes FOR-E-VER to actually dry hair; it claim to not cause frizzy hair, which is completely accurate because it causes limp, flat hair. I start this negative Review understanding the fact that everybody’s hair is different. My hair is a loose wave that I dry with a diffuser every day, I typically use high heat and high speed. This blow dryer only seems to have heat when it is on high, on low it is warm only. However the high option with the diffuser is still excessive amount of wind. Therefore curls get blown out and look straight but low is too low, again with little heat. I suppose this blow dryer would be great for someone that’s blowing their hair out straight however for curls and use with the diffuser I would not recommend this blow dryer.BBLongIsland

I had read good reviews on this product. It was in the mid expensive range so I expected a lot. First. the attachment would not stay attached unless really shoved on. Then, if I wanted to change the direction of air flow, it would not turn easily. I had to turn off the hairdryer since it was too hot to touch, to turn it. If I didn't forcefully shove it back on, it fell off. The toggle switches are on the inside of the the handle and often were inadvertently switched or turned off altogether. Bought this to replace my EVA which is starting to whine. Hairdresser has the uber expensive Babyliss with the turbo and loves it. This one is lightweight-shockingly so. Dries quickly even on low speed. No complaints EXCEPT with the attachment nozzle attached, it is too long for me to manipulate a good short style look. Each of the accesories fit together without a problem, it is easy to use, it is comfortable and one thing that I like is that it has a button that when you hold it down when using hot air, it blows out cold air which is very helpful in some cases.The hair dryer is kind of loud similar to most common hair dryers. In summary, I can say that there are a countless number of hairstyles that can be achieved with this hair dryer, similar results to those of a beauty salon. I am NOT a hair person so any tool that comes along meant to make dealing with my hair an easier task I am more than willing to give it a try. This is similar to another popular brand on the market but it has less attachments. This is definitely not a bad thing unless you need the other attachments to achieve the look you are hoping for. The instructions for this one is pretty straightforward and simple, even for someone like me. The smoothing brush attachment does an okay job smoothing my hair texture but I immediately knew I would have to add one more tool to this setup to accommodate my natural hair texture and get the smoothness I need to avoid any additional heat in my hair after completing the process until my next hair wash. So I did have to use a flat iron to truly smooth my hair out. Also, because of the texture of my hair (which many women of color may be in the same boat) the idea of leaving hair not completely dry to use the curling attachment isn’t realistic as my hair would not hold up 5 minutes after walking out of the door if I tried that and my hair would become a huge poofy mess. Using a small amount of setting spray on each section before using the curling attachment is what works for me. It’s a bit of a learning curve if you haven’t used the similar version but ultimately this works well enough. It won’t give you the same curls you could achieve with an actual curling iron but it will give you nice, soft waves to curls (smaller sections of hair to achieve more curl, bigger section to achieve soft waves). For some hair types this will be an excellent addition to their routine. For myself, it’s good if you have the additional time and if using the safer heat option for your hair to try and maintain hair health with less damage from heat. But ultimately I would probably opt for the flat iron and using it to create the curls I may want versus having to pull this set out regularly.KaeL

Im overall very impressed with my expierence using this producy. Having just cut a large amount of hair due to damage, damage reducing technology is definitely a priority. It being my favorite color ever is a huge bonus but this appliance is very good quality. From what i can tell, this blow dryer uses high air power more than high heat power. It comes with accessories to do lots of different styles. The product itself seems such good quality i could see it lasting for a very long time. I love that it has differnlent settings so i can adjust how much or little heat my hair endures. It left my hair with so much body and so very soft. Im very happy with my choice, ive not discovered one con, and am very happy with my new hair dryer, i highly recommend for anyone looking for less damage in their hair styling appliances.Moeraygan

I picked this out online and my husband picked it up from the store. There are a few problems with this dryer. I wanted to give it more than 2 stars, but I cant. The first problem is that I have curly hair, and the diffuser isn't very good at all. I get better results if I just use my hair products and let it air dry. The diffuser doesnt completely dry my hair or even partially. It leaves it mostly wet and the frizz! I thought they were supposed to cut down on the frizz. This just makes it worse. If you're not using the diffuser, it dries it ok. It is not strong enough for everyday use. The other problems are actually design flaws, and I cant get past them. The heat setting are supposed to be cool, warm, and hot. They really are cool, slightly less cool, and inferno. And the speeds are supposed to be low, medium and high. The low is barely anything, medium is low, and high is hurricane. And the cold shot button doesnt work. I cant push it. My real concern is the plug just falls out of the wall. The cord is nice and long, too, so Its not getting pulled out of the wall by the cord. It just falls out. All in all its not a good dryer.Lindsay

About the dryer: * It's larger than I thought it would be; definitely larger than the one it replaced — both the handle and the barrel seem longer and wider. It seems a bit heavier than the what it replaced, but I think it's just that the weight is distributed differently. This is heavier on the back end; the previous one was more evenly weighted. However, I haven't had any issues using it because of the weight. * It has a DC motor. (I would have preferred an AC motor, but could not justify the extra cost.) * The handle has been pretty comfortable. There are three switches on the inside of the handle. The top button is for a burst of cool air. The next switch is the heat level. There are three levels, no heat (room temp), low, and high. The switch at the bottom (near the pinkie) is on/off. The switch placement makes it easy to change heat setting, but I find myself flipping switches inadvertently mid dry as I adjust the dryer in my hand. * The high heat is not as hot as the last dryer this replaced. * I actually love the black and purple colors. * Other: I purchased this to replace an old (30 years!) Vidal Sassoon blow dryer whose motor blower fan broke (motor still worked, by the way). I would have replaced it with another workhorse just like it, but would have had to get it on eBay and 1) I couldn't wait for shipping; and 2) the price would have been more (for something used!). I purchased at Walmart because I was able to get it shipped within two days (fastest of the retailers I was pricing it on and I needed it fast) and the price was right (lower than most of the retailers). I've had this Remington for a month or so now and have had no real issues with it. I haven't tried the diffuser, but do use the concentrator. It works well for my needs. The VS dryer had a coil cord that was 12-18 inches longer than the Remington's when stretched out. While this cord is shorter, it's still long enough for my current needs (my outlet is next to the mirror above the bathroom sink). And while I liked the coil-cord, I definitely don't miss the cord getting all twisted. I can't say whether or not I'd purchase it again because I don't yet know it's longevity. I bought this because I just had shoulder surgery and cannot raise my right arm above my head. This allowed me to do a blow out and style my hair like I normally would. I still had to go over with a straightener. I’m not sure if that is due to the product or because I was doing it with one hand. I have short hair that is somewhere between my ears and chin. I’m not sure if I should return and continue my search for a better one or keep this one. It certainly works better then the Conair model for sure. Which btw, had a strong chemical scent when turned on and the motor was SO loud. Revlon which was cheaper also did it better. Simple and effective motor wasn’t unbearably loud…However I can’t help but feel like it’s cheap.. the thin aluminum or metal wrapped around the brush head combined with heat makes me feel like I’m damaging my hair.. there’s got to be a better one out there with more thoughtful innovative materials for hair. I love this styling hair dryer! I’ve been using one version or another of it for over 15 years. I think this is my 3rd or 4th one. If I remember correctly, I’ve never had the motor blow out, it’s always been the locking mechanism that broke or that I dropped the curling brush and the plastic broke where it would engage with the locking mechanism. It’s fantastic for my medium length, thick, naturally wavy hair. I usually wait until my hair is partially dry before using and then style with the larger curling brush to minimize my slight, natural frizz and maximize my natural waves. For me, it’s worth every penny, even if I do end up replacing it every so often!Kat

I received the Revlon 1875W Smooth Brilliance AC Hair Dryer Through the Spark Reviewer program. I like that it Has a removable Concentrator for extra Control at a location as needed. This blow Dryer has 2 speeds and low, medium and High heat for the desired temperature and When needed. I used this dryer multiple times With multiple speeds and temperatures. The First time I used High heat until partially dry, Then medium heat to finish drying while forming My hair with my fingers. Some call This finger combing. I like the desired result, But it wasn’t as smooth as I had expected. The next time I dried my hair using the Concentrator attachment again starting with High heat and decreasing the heat as my hair Began to dry. I used high speed. I used a Bristle brush in a rounding movement as I dried My hair. I lifted the hair at the beginning as I Turned it under at the end. This allowed my hair To have body, and stay straight and very Soft and smooth. The edition of the brush Really made a difference in the smoothing and Shining of my hair. I finished with cool heat and low speed. This allowed my hair to stay soft and smooth All day. I really like how it turned out. Each Time I dried my hair, I became better and Better at getting a full smooth and soft result. So, I highly recommend this hair dryer but It takes a little getting used to to get your Ideal result.eelnep

This hair dryer definitely has plenty of power. It dried my hair even faster than my Infiniti Pro Conair hair dryer. I really liked the flat black finish on the Revlon dryer for two reasons. One, it looks really nice. Two, the Revlon smoothing concentrator attachment did not slip off the dryer, as I was using it. This has been a problem for me in the past with other hair dryers, something that has been very frustrating. What a fabulous feature! I liked the toggle switches and adapted to them very easily, as my Conair has toggle switches as well. I am not sure the handle of the dryer felt soft to me (as the advertising claims), but the handle was comfortable to hold and easy to use. The ionic technology of the Revlon dryer claims to "enhance shine and reduce frizz and damage." In light of the fact that this dryer dries hair very quickly, the amount of time your hair is exposed to the heat is reduced, which would result in less damage to your hair. After finishing my styling with this dryer, my hair was indeed smooth and without frizz. Perhaps this proves the advertising to be correct. In summary, this dryer has several options for you to choose when personalizing your hair drying experience. The controls work well and are easy to use. There is plenty of heat and power as well. I really am surprised at the performance of this dryer. I actually requested it because I need a dryer with multiple heat settings for some craft projects I am working on. I needed a tool that I can use to dry the Glue & Paint on projects in different stages with different temps. This works fantastic. That said when it arrived I decided I even try using it to dry my hair. It is amazing. The grip on the handle makes it very easy to control. I have short hair and it was dry in 5 minutes. I used the heat and the cold shot to lock in the style. That was 4 days ago and it is still looking good. Usually by next day curls and waves are back. This keeps hair nice and smooth and straight which looks better on my hair cut. The concentrater attachment does allows you to target hair for additional smoothing. I like the fact the removable cap on the back can be removed to clean. That is always a problem because it sucks in dust and hair and was always hard to clean. The fact I can hang this with the hanging ring when not in use is a real plus because it will be in the craft area most of the time and I dont have a lot of counter space. Reading the box it gives you all the facts about the technology that makes the dryer work so well. I am afraid the info on the ceramic coating and how it helps to reduce frizz and seal the hair cuticle is all great and the IONIC Technology with the negative charges performs on even the courses hair is helpful but the proof is while you are using it and the end results and really great. The instructions for how to use this hair dryer and all of its attachments are super easy to understand and it includes pictures and steps which are super helpful. Basically, to operate the hair dryer you plug it in and turn it on. It automatically chooses settings for you or you can adjust them accordingly. Then if you want to choose any of the attachments you just place them on the front of the hair dryer and turn it on; again, all of the settings are already picked and it’s ready to go. You can easily change any of the setting to what works well for you, but I find the IQ settings perfect for me. Adjusting the settings is done by pushing buttons which is so nice when your hands are slick from using product. All of the attachments are easily added or removed from the hair dryer very easily as well. I honestly can't rave enough about Shark HyperAir Hair Dryer! This company has thought thoroughly about every type of hair when designing and manufacturing this dryer. It has different settings on it for heat and/or air, as well as different attachments to help obtain the desired style you are going for. It's easy to use, basically ready to use. Just open the box, take the dryer out and attach the end you want to work with. The cord is the perfect length. Not to long, not to short. Inside the box you'll find a handbook that shows you which end is for which look. It's handy to keep going back to so note: put aside, DON'T TOSS IN THE TRASH! I say that because I've went back to the details and pictures in the brochure/hand book several times. Now onto the noise of the hair dryer… Noise? I love this hair dryer a lot. The overall look is amazing, the color and the shape. I just love it. My favorite thing about it are all the attachments. It came with 3 attachments : IQ 2 in 1 concentrator ( dry and shape), the IQ styling brush( dry straighten and shine) and the IQ curl defining diffuser (dry curls from root to tips). The dryer has 3 buttons on the back and one on the front. The top left button is regulating IQ air flow levels. It has 3 different levels: low, medium and high. The top right button is regulating the temperature and has 3 levels as well: low, medium and high. After inserting the attachment the IQ styler will automatically adjust to the right settings (heat and air flow) you can also adjust them manually if you want to. On the front of the dryer there is a button "cool shot" when pressed the temperature lights are off and the air that is coming out is cool. The IQ curl defining diffuser is my favorite attachment as it can dry your curls from the root without damaging them. It is shaped like a bowl and has adjustable prongs. If you have short hair, set the prongs up short and set them up long for long hair. I also like the IQ styling brush which can do a 360 degree rotation. It is very helpful as it can help you dry the back of your hair. It also has smoothing and detangling bristles. The little black cleaning tool is very helpful for the removal of hair stuck in the brush attachment.Lolo1

I received this in the mail and immediately loved the packaging and color. The dryer has its general 3 heat settings: cool, warm and hot with 2 speeds: low and high, and a cool shot. It was easy to use and made my naturally straight hair very shiny and frizz-free, compared to what it looks like when I let it air dry. Not sure how this will impact those who have curls in their hair, but it does come with a diffuser that has easy attachments to help enhance the curl. It dried my hair slightly faster than my old hair dryer (I do have fine hair) and the product has a nice motor, so drying time may vary with other hair types. I liked that the blow dryer was fairly light weight, a fun color and not difficult to hold as I dried my hair. I gave this product 4 stars since it's fairly comparable to other standard blow dryers and has basic features needed to get the job done. Just like the pictures posted by others show, the rose gold flakes off. I bought this in October 2021, and it only took about 3 months for it to start flaking. It is so annoying to dry my hair now (even more annoying than it regularly is lol). Rose gold flakes in my hair, in my brush, all over my hands…I feel like it's the heat of my hand causing the paint to destabilize and flake off. A hairdryer should be able to be held, right? I gave it three stars because outside of the annoying paint flakes, it works very well. It's helped me cut down on frizz while still drying my hair relatively fast.Jules S

I bought this hair dryer 1 month ago and the paint is already peeling off very badly especially on the handle. It's stick to your hand when you dry your hair. The drying performance is very good. I have tired so many different blow dryers to dry by really thick hair and this did it.. Not only did it take about 15 minutes to fully dry but it has great attachments AND very light. The settings are very easy to use and change if needed. Great product all around. I do wish the cord was a bit longer though. Foe the price of this I expected much more. It has three heat setting plus the cool shot. The oil shot is still pretty warm. And the lowest of the heat settings is just ever so slightly different than the hottest. It has three speeds (which is nice!) straight out of the box, the diffuser attachment had one the little "pegs" broken off (I get it things happen in transit out of control). But I decided to use it anyway. I set it down on my counter and bumped against something g and another one broke off. The on/off switch is very touchy. Doesn't take much to inadvertently turn it off even when the power is in "locked position". Overall just seems way over priced. I bought it because it was small and lightweight for travel but totally not worth it. Will definitely be returning.Brandy

This is a great dryer. The concentrators work very well. The dryer itself it lightweight, powerful, and easy to maneuver making it perfect for a blowout. The self cleaning feature is so helpful and would surely prolong the life of the dryer. The only reason I had to return it is because of the sound. It produces a very high pitched sound when in use that I couldn't tolerate. I'm not usually sensitive to sound but this hurt my ears and gave me a headache. If that is something that doesn't bother you, this is a great purchase. I unfortunately could not keep itJaz

Saw my hairdresser using this dryer and opted to splurge on one for myself. It was a little pricey (although I used a 20% off coupon so that helped!) Now I feel like I can't go back to my drug store dryer. I love the size and weight of it (I actually think the cord weighs more than the dryer) and the adjustable heat and power settings combined with the nozzle attachments allow me to control where "the blow goes" (no more giant knotted mass of dried out hair!) I don't know that it's actually any quieter than my old dryer but it definitely has a different sound. It's a higher pitched sound unlike other dryers I've used. It sounds kinda weird but I don't dread drying my hair as much with this little dryer since it seems so much lighter and faster than my clunky old dryer. If you can afford the splurge, this is a nice little tool to have.Carolyn

So I decided that having gone through many, many hair dryers I would look into something that hopefully would be of better quality. The reviewer touted that her hair was fuller and appeared to have more body much like when she frequented her hair stylist. Body? Fullness? I decided to take a chance and spend the extra $$ on the Elchim 2001 Professional Hair Dryer. I must admit that the results were AMAZING! Fullness & body have been brought home and I couldn\'t be happier with my choice. Have been using my new dryer in my home setting for about a week now. So far, so good. It's quieter than my last dryer. The high setting is pretty hot, so am mostly using the two lower settings of the three available. With lots of power, my hair gets dried in a jiffy. The colors of the dryer make one happy…. Little but good way to spice up the day. We'll see how it holds up over time. Also, the dryer arrived about a week before the expected delivery date, which pleased me no end! Didn't get much in the way of information as it was traveling across the nation to get to my house. Info received was basically, "It's on its way," and "Out for delivery." No interim travel updates were given. But it arrived just fine!Barbara
