Reviews:
I luv this dryer! I have curly hair and I was using a regular blow dryer with a diffuser on the end. That was very bulky and heavy. Eventually the diffuser broke off so I had to get a new one. i saw this dryer on the Walmart app and decided this dryer may be easy to use. Oh was I right! So much lighter, smaller and faster drying than my old one! My curls turned out great, no frizz and so much volume! If you have cury hair, you need this blow dryer.sharon
in the 80s, a high school friend had this style diffuser. i'd looked for decades (really) for the same style, but couldn't find one. last month, i walked into Ulta, and there was the diffuser design i'd looked for since 1989! three days before, i'd splurged on the devadryer/devafuser combo, but i still bought that curlipops diffuser because 27 years is a loooong time to search for a hair appliance. i brought the trusty diffuser home over the border and i'm so glad i purchased it. I don't diffuse every time i wash my hair; only when i have to go out before my hair has time to air dry, but so far, it's been nice to my 3a curls: no fluffy hair, no frizz, and today, i got a nice, tousled, beach-esque 'do. good product definitely helps the process, too. curlipops diffuser gets 5 stars from me because it's lightweight, does nice work for my hair, and it's a great price *ahem – the devadryer combo i bought only 3 days earlier was almost $200 more*. eek.calyx
Years ago, I bought hair dryer from Conair that was this exact shape, I think it was called the "Pancake" model, and I loved it! It was the BEST hair dryer I ever used! I have super thick, curly hair and the Conair dryer worked amazingly. Sadly, after about three years, I dropped it and broke the diffuser, rendering it useless. I have never found another one so when I was in Ulta and saw this Bed Head version, I instantly bought it. It was nothing like the Conair. The Bed Head dryer took 3 times longer to dry my hair. The air flow is extremely weak, but I thought maybe that was intentional to reduce frizz. My curls seemed tighter but fluffier at the same time. After about three months, I was getting ready for work and it started barely running. At first I thought I had accidentally hit the slowest speed button by accident, but I hadn't. I just figured it might've got too hot, so I let it be till a couple of days later. I turned on the dryer and it still wouldn't turn on at full speed, then after a few seconds, it started smoking and the element was turning red. I immediately unplugged it. I was going to return it but, by this time, I had tossed the receipt and thrown out the box.A Thought from Dot

Love the style and look of this hair dryer, and it does work very well. The cool setting is impressively really COOL air, and the power in all settings is strong. The reason I am giving this 3 stars (almost gave 2) is because of the strangely SMALL power cord. My last hair dryer had no problems reaching to my sink, so I didn't give it a second thought when ordering this one. It is so short that I will need to get a long extension cord to get it to reach. Very frustrating. Would not buy again, and would only recommend to people with outlets less than 1-2 feet from their head.sssinla
The last new hair dryer I bought was a used Revlon hair dryer that I got at Goodwill about ten years ago. That thing has been virtually indestructible and I loved everything about it! I am only replacing it now because we have been using it to take up some self stick floor tile and it is not looking so hot. Still works fine so I am moving it to the tool box. When I first started looking around for a new dryer it was a pretty challenging experience. My must have list… 3 heat settings, slide controls and low cost. I quickly narrowed it down to the Revlon Perfect Heat. I know nothing about Ionic Technology, 3X Ceramic Coating, Volumizing ( spell check says that is not even a word ) or Turbo Styling but I guess I have it all. I do know High /Low and Cool/ Warm and Hot, and they can be achieved with just a slide of my thumb and that's all I care about!bet-ya-luv-it

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago after my old Conair died on me and I’m so glad I did. It’s not too heavy. It gets plenty hot. It dries my hair quicker than my previous hair dryer. It’s a really pretty gold color AND most importantly, it’s not too expensive! It’s currently selling on Amazon for $39.99.ashley.d
The heat settings on this dryer are amazing! Not only does it offer 3 different settings but the heating power is impressive. I use this twice a week and it takes about 10 mins to dry my hair. Their customer service is fantastic. They will send you a quality paddle brush if you enter the giveaway contest listed on the card you receive with your hair dryer.

Reviews:
Two years ago, I stopped blow drying my hair to straighten it. I have naturally wavy hair, and decided to embrace that by using better hair products and by not drying with a hot dryer. My hair takes hours to air dry, so I needed to find a way to dry it without losing my curly waves or removing all moisture. This pansonic dryer is just what I needed. It comes with a diffuser, concentrator nozzle, and a nifty oscilating quick dry nozzle. BUT what's really important is the Nanoe— I am not a physicist, but the Nanoe generates negative charged particles that help push water into the hair shaft— which is exactly what curly wavy folks are looking for! Well, I have used this twice on my hair, and my curly waves were shinier and bouncier and lasted for two days. The diffuser allows me to pixie diffuse with ease and holds quite a bit of hair for that method. I also used the oscillating attachment, which reminds me of how a stylist will shake the blow dryer when doing your hair, except the dryer makes the air change directions. This prevents hot spots on scalp and hair. Drying this way made my hair straighter and super shiny. Finally, the dryer is not heavy, and makes it easy to clean the air intake on the back. With 1875 watts, you will get dry hair quickly, but without drying out your hair due to the nanoe technology!Aggieof83
Panasonic – EH-NA67-W Nanoe Hair Dryer with Oscillating QuickDry Nozzle Included- hair dryer, 3 attachments, 2 year limited warranty The Panasonic – EH-NA67-W Nanoe Hair Dryer with Oscillating QuickDry Nozzle boasts salon quality, resulting in a healthy, shiny finish every day. It uses the nanoe technology that helps moisturize your hair while drying it, so that it doesn't dry it out. There are three different attachments to use with the dryer. The oscillating (back and forth) movement, quick-dry nozzle constantly moves the heat back and forth onto your hair, so there are no hot spots, drying your hair more evenly. There is a diffuser to help keep your curls or wave healthy and with less frizz. Finally, the concentrator attachment allows for the air to directly blow in a more controlled setting. There are multiple settings to customize your needs. The blower can be high, low or off and the heat settings are hot, warm and cool. There is also a cool shot button. I have long thick, wavy hair and this dryer worked pretty well. I stay on the low, warm setting to not burn out my hair and so it took a little while to dry it completely, but if I'm not in a rush it's ok. And I appreciate that it's helping keep my hair healthier even though I'm using the heat on it. I am used to moving the dryer back and forth so the oscillating nozzle is nice but I don't really stop moving it around. It's pretty lightweight and weighs only about a pound. I think it's a bit spendy but overall a decent hair dryer. Dryers can really wreck hair and this one doesn't. It helps give you a nice clean finish.mamallg
Nanoe (hair dryer) technology is something I'm already familiar with, as I own a different brand of an earlier version of what was back then, a new type of hair dryer. However, there are many similaries between the one I've used for a while now, and this new Panasonic hair dryer. Overall, my own experience using this Panasonic Nanoe Oscillating Quick-Dry hair dryer was positive. My gently wavy hair dries much more quickly, and is far less likely to become static-y, frizzy, or feel 'dried out.' This is because it takes less time to dry my hair with the Nanoe tech feature. The weight of this hair dryer feels balanced in my hand as I'm using it, which is good. And because of the Nanoe technology, it takes a shorter amount of time to dry your hair, so you aren't going to need to be concerned about holding the dryer up for long periods of time, which can be tiring. And even at its highest settings, this hair dryer wasn't overly loud. This Panasonic hair dryer is well-made. It has a thick, sturdy, strong power cord, which is a nice long length, and the white pearlescent color of the plastic casing is very pretty. Now, while the oscillating motion of the attachment does distribute the air in a rhythmic pattern through your hair, it seems more like a "gimmic" rather than a 'game-changing' feature. The price of this Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer is, to me, a tad prohibitive. While it does the job, and should last a good long time with proper care, I would recommend considering to get one when it goes on sale. Besides that, it's a good hair dryer.Janine
6. Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer – Iron/fuchsia

Product Details:
Lightweight and balanced, the dyson supersonic hair dryer reinvents this beauty basic, putting a digital motor in the handle to produce a controlled, high-velocity airflow for ultra-fast drying power. a microprocessor with intelligent heat control helps protect against extreme heat damage, while the magnetic attachments let you smooth, style, and diffuse with ease. the supersonic features an ionizer that helps reduce static through negative ions. when the air exits the machine, additional air is captured from the sides and the back, multiplying the air that was drawn in at the base three times. with this bundle, you'll receive five attachments — the styling concentrator for precision styling, the diffuser to help reduce frizz and create defined curls and waves, the gentle air attachment to diffuse the air and create a cooler airflow, the flyaway attachment that hides flyaways under longer hair for a smooth, shiny finish (for use on dry and straight or straightened hair), and a wide-tooth comb that helps shape and lengthen curly and textured hair as it dries. you'll also receive a round brush and detangling comb. how do i use it: start at the lowest speed and heat setting and always use one of the attachments. aim the dryer so the airflow is going down the strand of hair. use high speed for fast drying and styling, medium for regular drying, and low for diffusing. use high heat for fast drying and styling, medium for regular drying, low for cooler drying and diffusing, and a cold shot for constant cold to set your hair after styling. for fine textured hair, use low speed and low heat setting. for curly hair, use the diffuser with low heat, low speed setting. gently place curls in the diffuser and lift. for thick/coarse hair, use medium speed and medium heat. from dyson.

Reviews:
Ok. Finally I can make a proper review I started giving 10 for the support team (I wasn't happy with the the machine I received) they exchanged super fast, no problem. To me, is hard to say every product or every machine will work for everyone… I am Brazilian and my hair is an unidentified thing. Crazy!! I wash, dry and style 3 times a week. I coloring (cover the grays) and straight 2 times per year. I never buy anything without search every little detail. 3 years ago I saw Dyson advertised and was something I really considered. I went to Ulta Beauty (they just use Dyson) to try on. I hated! But I hate everything the stylists did with my hair. I just postponed. This year I was ready to go. After I use a couple times this is what a thing… Pros: Power button – isn't between your hand (never power off during the process. More volume. For sure! Almost no Hair on the floor or in the hairbrush (definitely last breaking). The hairbrush they sent me for free (game change) I will have one those for ever! Easy to hold e move around. No worries about your hair being sucked by the filter. After I style (with my regular curly iron) I still have more volume than normal. Cons: The machine is light but the electrical cord… oh my! Really heavy. I won't travel with. I didn't have that shine and silky feeling. I didn't gain any time. I always take 20 minutes to do the job with any kind of machine. Presentation – awful! It's a very expensive machine to arrived this away. I have machine didn't cost half the price and come with a beautiful box, wrap with a silk bag for protection and travel. It's like buying a luxury item and arrived at supermarket plastic bag. Overall, isn't perfect. But I will keep and recommend this machine. I know I will have a good support, and I know my hair will be more healthy and last breaking.Blankenship
I asked for this for Christmas and got the blue and bronze version with the storage box. Firstly the products look amazing you can feel the great quality. Secondly I absolutely love how the pieces just magnetise into the dryer – I didn’t actually know how they attach before I got mine and I love just how this happens. The edges stay cool so you can remove easily as well which is a great design feature as no one wants burnt fingers! But the big big plus for me which makes this really worth the money (over the fancy colour and the magnetic attachments) is how much this reduces drying time. I have long super thick 2b/2c hair (curly) and I would usually air dry which would take about 3 hours to completely dry. So I would very much be going into work ‘wet hair don’t care’ but this is taking me only 20 mins to diffuse my entire head of hair which is a complete game changer. Meaning I have lovely formed bouncy curls first thing rather than elongated wet look waves where the weight of the water is dragging the curl down. I have tried the diffuser attachments on my other regular hair dryers by the way but have always ended up a huge frizz ball which I don’t get with the Dyson Also when I want to straighten it look me 40 mins rather than 2 hours using the comb attachment – my hair was practically straight in 20 mins with the dryer then I just went over with the Ghds I love this product I would 100% recommend if you have hair like mineTinK
I've been using the Dyson hair dryer (Nickel/Copper version) for a month. Initially wasn't sure cost worth it, because even at a very reduced price it was higher price than any other hot hair tool I'd ever purchased. Then I watched some videos on using it and the attachments. I experimented with the various speed & heat settings, as well as all the attachments to find they mattered greatly. I'm now convinced I like it a lot & definitely happy to have. My hair type: Lots of fine wavy/curly, short/mid-length. My hair styles & attachments used: Curly/wavy: Use only the Dyson diffuser attachment. Blow out smooth: All Dyson attachments but the diffuser. Section and start with Wide-tooth comb. A little use of the gentle air attachment with a paddle brush & Styling Concentrator with round brush. Finish with the Flyaway attachment, which really really does work/make a difference in smoothing. Usually use the lowest speed setting and heat 1 or 2. While I recommend this product, note that I would never recommend paying the full price. I have the discretionary income & could have paid full, but I waited for a discount and saved lots of rewards dollars over time before opting to making my purchase. What I want 2day

Reviews:
I use a dryer each time I wash my hair and this one seems to take longer to dry my hair than recent dryers I've had in the past. My last 4-5 dryers have been high quality ones, and this one sadly doesn't match up to them. I purchased because of the size (storage and travel purposes), and because it came with a diffuser. I've only used the diffuser once, and usually just dry it straight without the diffuser. However, my hair does not feel as soft as my previous hair dryers and it also seems to take longer to dry. I noticed multiple reviews that state it doesn't get hot enough but would still dry quickly, so I went for it thinking it's better for your hair anyway if it doesn't get too hot. However, I've noticed that that does seem to affect the drying time for me.Meghan
I have short curly hair, and I needed a new hairdryer, but one that specifically came with a good diffuser. I bought this when it was brand new on the website and had no reviews, I took a risk and tried it out and I absolutely love it!! I've been using this hair dryer with the diffuser for a little over 1 month now about 3-5 times per week. I feel like it's super cute and it also gets really nice and hot, but the cool shot gets really cool as well. I really like how the diffuser works on my curls, I don't feel like my hair gets messed up, and I feel like the air is evenly diffused around my hair when I'm using it. I definitely recommend this hairdryer!! The diffuser works really well, and it's pretty lightweight, my hand or wrist has never hurt while using it. It's a little heavier than my old hairdryer, but this one is way nicer 🙂 and I like the shape of it too. I use ouidad leave-in products before I diffuse my hairMichelle
I have rheumatoid arthritis and can no longer hold a heavy blow dryer to style my hair. This Chi is super lightweight and not bulky for me to hold. It does take a little longer to dry and I would not recommend this if you have thick hair. I have very thin, fine hair so when I say it takes longer I'm talking 3-5 more minutes longer than my old clairol blow dryer. It does not burn my hair and it leaves it very shiny and smooth. I love the Velcro wrap cord closure, my old dryers cord was always a tangled mess. I also love the cold air feature, living in SE Texas with 90% humidity it is a lifesaver. it gets very cold and cools my scalp right off. This is my first Chi product and I am very happy with it.Jmeow76

Reviews:
I took a chance and purchased this not knowing how I would like it as there are no reviews. What kind of sold me on this was the different images of ppl with different hair types on the actual box, the beautiful vibrant color, and the sales associate of course who saw that I was standing by the hair dryers for an hour just confused on which one to select. I used it this morning and I love how smooth and voluminous my hair felt. I haven't used the hand attachment yet, but when I'll do I'll update my review. But so far so good. I love the matte material because it makes it easy to grip when you're working with oils, etc. (black hair). I noticed it doesn't get insanely hot like my old Hot Tools dryer, but it's my understanding that this is actually better for the long term health of your hair. It dries more quickly than my Hot Tools, but at the same time it doesn't scorch or over-dry my hair. That's a win in my book, and is probably what contributes to the higher price point. It has an ionic on or off button that you can press while drying. I think this is the what contributed to the volume bc I turned it on. If you turn it off, it smooths frizz. I'd say it leaves a low-medium luster, and that's fine by me. I don't like shiny hair.Adanna
I spent an hour in store trying to decide which blow dryer I wanted. I've always used a conair or Remington. After 2 years, my infinitipro dryer started to spark while using it so I decided it was time to toss it out and get a new one. I have naturally curly hair that I use a universal diffuser on and it works great. I also like to blow out my hair pretty often. when I blow it out I like to touch it up after sleeping on it by using a round brush and my hot blow dryer to get out the kinks and tame my edges. this blow dryer doesn't create enough heat for that even on high setting. the idea that it's cool enough for a great style with the diffuser is great but for the price, I should be able to put it on high heat when needed and style as I would like. I will definitely be returning it and maybe just purchasing the separate diffuser attachment for a cheaper dryer.Em
9. Bed Head Diffuser Hair Dryer Curls In Check 1875 Watt 2 Speed Settings 3 Heat Ceramic

Product Details:
Don't blow that gorgeous texture– diffuse it! the bed head 1875 watt diffuser hair dryer is designed with curly hair gals in mind. its unique design enhances and define natural curls and waves for silky, touchable texture and massive shine. this 1875 watt dryer is powerful like a traditional hair dryer and can be used 2 ways– without the diffuser attachment to dry hair throughout, or with the volume diffuser attachment to work your curls.
Reviews:
The overall shape is a little awkward, when using. The cool shot button is redundant, as the cold setting is actually colder. The biggest flaw is that the air coming out is too forceful. It is not like when using a diffuser on a regular dryer. The whole point of a diffuser is not to disturb the curls. This does not accomplish that task. Especially not on high. It's just ok.Dani
Great item havent had dor long so I dont know about longevity. Low setting with diffuser is great and doesnt mess up curls. What I really like about this dryer is it doesnt suck my hair up the back as much as other dryers even though its surrounded by hair when I have it close to my scalp. I have very long hair.Jason

I was gifted the AirLuxe dryer complimentary from T3. Wow! Words can’t express my love for this hair dryer. I had been content with my previous hair dryer until I received this one. My first impression was how luxe and sleek the design of the hair dryer is. It has two attachments-one I used for a rough dry so I was able to get it close to 80% dry before I switched to the other attachment that helped create a sleek and smooth blow-out. I have coarse, naturally curly hair and although I will at times let it air dry, my preference is to have an amazing blow-out that will last days. The digital controls are what make this a standout feature. Gone are the days of buttons you have to switch by pushing up or down- with these digital controls all you have to do is lightly press and instantly you have endless combinations of how you want the hair dryer to give you air flow & heat. I love the negative ion feature that helps me smooth my hair & adds in volume. The cool shot control, although I switch it on a little too frequently due to its placement, I love how it locks in my curl if I do a bouncy blow out. The 9ft cord allows me to really have great control & ease with being able to dry my hair anywhere in my house, which will be great for travel. I am impressed with the ions that get infused in your hair within a second- this is exactly what I needed. I normally get an annual keratin treatment, but the way this hair dryer delivers I will not be needing one. I can’t wait for blow-out day & especially knowing I will get quite a few days out of it. I promise you will be just as obsessed as me if you purchase this hair dryer!emoney4eva
Years ago I bought a T3 Featherweight blowdryer and I fell in love with it. It’s been the best beauty purchase I ever made and I had very few complaints. This is why I’m so shocked and impressed by much better this AirLuxe model is! The handle on the AirLuxe is close to the middle of the device, rather than the butt like most blowdryer designs. This means that the weight of the dryer is better balance in my hand and with less pressure on my wrist it’s easier to use and lighter feeling too. I really like that the nozzle concentrator attachment screws in and locks into place. There are even tiny convenient arrows to help line it up properly! The concentrator nozzle on my first T3 dryer broke after a time from the force it took to snap into place. With the improved design I can’t imagine this happening again! It’s very easy to switch between the attachments. The buttons for the many various setting are so much more sophisticated on the AirLuxe. They’re easy to such and the flat design means that they don’t get in the way of my grip on the handle. I like using the hottest setting on my long and thick hair. I timed it a few times and my hair dries 5 minutes with this new model! Love that! My one complaint about the AirLuxe blowdryer is that the placement of the cold shot button on the inside handle makes it too easy to accidentally activate. I must have accidentally turned it on 3 or 4 times during my first blow dry session. I’m in love with this new AirLuxe dryer. I think the quality is amazing and it’s worth the price tag because I know it will last for years to come. If I didn’t already own it, the AirLuxe would be on my birthday list this year. This product was gifted by T3 Micro, but this review is my own honest opinion.CassieLynnnn

I purchased this dryer less than 5 months ago and have used it only 4 times, because I normally just air dry my hair. Today I brought it out and started to dry my hair and the motor started making a loud rattling noise inside. I turned it off and I'm not planning to turn it on again. I called Ulta where I bought this in 4SRanch San Diego and they said to contact DryBar direct that "they should understand and want to know about the issue". It doesn't sound promising after reading others who have had issues. This is very disheartening and so unfair. When you spend this much money on a product it should last longer than 4-5 blow dries. Very disappointed in Ulta for not helping more and lack of confidence now in getting anywhere with DryBar.Shari M
I am sharing my honest and authentic opinion, as a Sephora Beauty Insider Community Ambassador. I don’t usually blow dry my hair but air dry it. When I do use a blow dryer it’s because I need to speed up the drying process and style it a certain way. It took me 14 minutes to dry my entire head by blow drying it in sections. I didn’t notice it reducing frizz or providing a smooth blowout. It did give my hair volume and poofiness. I did use some heat protection and leave in cream beforehand but it didn’t help with the frizziness. I liked that it came with 2 concentrator nozzles and that it had 3 temperature settings and a cool shot button. The hair dryer did feel heavier than my other blow dryer.SportyGirly125
I was gifted this dryer courtesy of Sephora, my opinions are completely my own. Drybar Buttercup is 1875 watts, has two heat and speed settings. It comes with a narrow and slightly wider nozzle for drying – a diffuser is not included. The cord is a professional length, however I’m not a fan of the way it’s constructed, if you do not care for the cord properly it will curl and coil the inside casing and cause your dryer to stop working. Just a tip to store the cord in the same way the dryer was received. The weight of the dryer is a bit heavier then I’m used too however I do really like that the nose of the dryer doesn’t get too hot and gives me the option of holding the handle or the nose. Over all a decent dryer for at home use!GG84

Reviews:
I've tried several of these, and this one is the best of them. It dries my thick, coarse hair quickly. Usually I let it air dry, while doing makeup, getting dressed, etc. Sometimes doing a quick rough dry with my regular blow dry with my regular hair dryer, but honestly I think this probably isn't even necessary, as far as for time sake. It may be quicker not to rough dry first. Mostly I do that just to try to minimize heat damage, because this does get pretty hot. This doesn't seem to do any damage, though, and makes my hair look so soft and smooth and healthy looking! I like the smaller barrel. I wanted to be able to create some wave at the ends with it, and I can do it to some extent, with the right technique. I couldn't with the bigger ones I've tried. My hair is pretty long with a lot layers. Overall I love this tool, and recommend it over most others of this nature, and it's a great price too!Nikki
Was going back and forth between this one and the Revlon one. After watching some YouTube reviews picked this one and glad I did. It does not disappoint! I have thick, long (mid back) wavy hair. I was able to blow dry and style a soaking wet head, right out of the shower, in 26 mins. I usually let me hair air dry first so excited to use it again knowing I can probably get it down to 15 mins. I will add, this movement to dry my hair is quick for me because I have been round brush drying my hair for years so there may be a learning curve for others. I also don't expect pin straight from always using a round brush so this does have some body and flow which I like. But you could quickly run a straightener through at the end if you like that look. I saw people stating it gets hot but that makes sense, it should. The barrel is ceramic just like a curling iron so it will get hot. Keep you hands on the cool tip and don't grab your hair right from it. Grab from the top of your hair, give it a second or switch to cool before changing sections of hair. That's also healthy for your hair too finish on a cool temp.A
Okay I cannot say enough great things about this brush.. I am truly obsessed. My hair is slightly wavy without much shape or style when left to air dry. Prior to the brush, I would often blow dry and lightly straighten or attempt to blow it out with a round brush and blow dryer. This brush seriously changed my life. I could not believe how easy it was to use and to style my hair! I have found that I prefer to blow dry my hair a bit instead of using the brush on soaking hair because it has been saving time. I will say that I definitely recommend heat protectant and hair oil because if not used carefully, hair can be pulled out. I would suggest watching a video or tutorial depending on how you want to style your hair but go get this brush! I have been asked multiple times if I just got a hair cut because it looks that good! I also find that I really don't have to touch it up once I initially style my hair and the look has lasted me 3 days between washes without having to redo it. I love the volume it adds and that my hair has more dimension rather than pin straight. I think I am addicted.emily.g

Reviews:
So I bought both the bedhead at retail price and the Drybar blow dryer brush, on sale and mostly with points. Full disclosure, I only paid $60 for the drybar, so it wasn't a huge loss to experiment with which I like. Here are my thoughts: Bedhead wins on price for sure, though since I only paid like $60 for the drybar one I'm going to keep it because it's not *that* much more expensive and I'm curious as far as lasting, which one will keep up through time (which is TBD obvi) Drybar wins on handle comfort. It's much smaller in diameter both in the brush and the handle than the bed head, which makes it much less heavy and comfortable to hold. I also love the square tip because it makes it super easy to notice by feel if I'm losing the angle I want. They both have only two heat settings and a cool function, but here's where things get strange. I feel like the drybar is the same hotness, but it made my hair much frizzier the first time I used it than the bedhead. Like super frizzy! The second time I used it I switched to the lower setting when I was near my roots which helped, but makes it annoying to keep flipping between. Temp wise they feel the same, but I think drybar blows harder on high which is causing the frizz. So for blow power and heat drybar was higher but bedhead wins because more power isn't necessarily better, like standing in front of a jet engine might dry my hair fast but it'd be a mess lol They also both dried my hair in the same amount of time, even with the more power of the drybar, probably because I had to switch to low so often to avoid frizz. So they tie here as far as time (about 8 minutes total). I also think even though the handle was more comfortable with drybar, my hair got stuck in it a few times and that was so annoying. It's never happened with the bedhead and I think it's because it's wider. Overall I give bedhead an 8, room for improvement in the handle design and adding the square to the top sounds stupid but when I can feel it level in the back it makes it so much easier. Drybar I'd like less power and a wider design to avoid hair pulling and frizzing. And the retail cost is definitely not worth it to me so that brings it to a 6. Hope this helps someone in making a decision!Jenn
I have tried other more expensive name brand hot air brushes. They didn’t work as good as this Bed Head. This is the best for my thick course frizzy hair. Tourmaline does not dry out hair. I wanted a very hot, 3” oval barrel, high wattage. Some may need extra care to get used to but it’s manageable. Dries hair quickly, with salon like finish. Smooths hair. No snagging or tangling. I use no other hair tools. Not louder than other dryers. Use ear plugs if sensitive. I would definitely buy this dryer again. Hope it doesn’t burn out for awhile anyway. Definitely worth it, price, for quality of hair tool. Works better than expected and better than more expensive tools.Carole
First off my fault for not reading this was oval. It's about 4 1/2" from bristle tip to bristle tip on the wide side and 3" on the other. The barrel itself seems to be 3" X 1 3/4". The handle is kind of big too and my hand cramps when holding it. As far as loudness goes, it's not bad. I would say typical hair dryer. This did not give my hair the fullness I was expecting and got from my old round brush hair dryer. I can see where it would be better for long hair or for people looking for something to straighten there hair while drying. As now I've opened and used it I will keep trying to make it work, but for my fine, straight, somewhat short hair, I am not impressed.Unimpressed

I wish I didn't throw out the packaging because I really want to return this. It's so obnoxiously loud! When I'm blow-drying near my ears I have to cover with one hand or I end up with ringing or an earache. I have thick 4c hair so I bought this for the comb attachment but my hair feels crispy and not even blown out well afterwards. The other 2 attachments are awkward and useless. Just use a brush and regular blow-dryer this is a waste of time and moneyNaomi
I have been using a brush style hairdryer for over 10 years. It does the best job drying and straightening my fine, frizzy hair. My old dryer died when I took it on vacation, so it was time for a new one. This brush dryer is a happy upgrade from my previous one. It has 3 heat settings plus a cool shot button. I really like using the medium heat setting with the high blower. It dries my hair quickly without getting too hot and frying the ends of my hair. The brush and comb attachments are very secure and they don’t pop off. Yay! I’m really happy with this hair dryer!TargetShopper
*different color* I bought this hair dryer on a whim for $19.99 on the Ulta App. Honestly, I bought it so my daughter would stop stealing my hair dryer.. but I used it today and O.M.G!! This is AWESOME! My hair is fine, straight, colored, and in desperate need of a trim (and toner). On a normal day I would use products to tone down frizz, protect from heat, etc but I’m about to try Manic Panic at home so I skipped all products. I washed my hair and used this dryer with no conditioning product (rinse or leave-in), specifically because I’ve never used Manic Panic and am following instructions. So I unboxed this hair dryer, read about the 3 attachments, and snapped on the “easy styling” bristle brush. My hair was dry in under 7 minutes and the results are in the photo. My hair would NEVER look like this without products! I am totally floored, in the best way possible! If I used my typical products (or got my dead ends trimmed) I would be able to skip straightening all together using this dryer. It says on the box “All-In-One Drying Styling” and it isn’t kidding! It comes with 3 attachment options and claims it is for straight, coarse, thick, wavy, curly, and frizzy hair.. well, I can attest to two of those already. And it was $19.99?! You can’t beat it. Highly recommend!! I’m keeping this for myself and giving my CHI dryer to my daughter instead. It’s easy to use, the attachments remove with ease, it takes up less space, the color is nice, and it works like a charm! I love this thing!! #conair #infintiproluxeseries #straighthair #finehair #finehairbutawholelotofitamanda.f

I really wanted to like this hair dryer. I liked the fact that it had an AC motor which did make it a little heavy, but I was used to having a hair dryer that was heavy. I never had a hair dry before this one that frizzed up my hair as I was trying to dry my hair. I tried the attachments, did not care for the pic and the concentrator kept falling off. My hair became a frizzy knotted mess, and no shine. Sorry, but I exchanged for another one Conair extreme heat.
I had been searching for a new dryer for awhile and was going to purchase one of the more expensive brands. When I went into Sally’s, a staff member saw that I was having a hard time choosing and suggested this dryer. I was skeptical at first, but when she mentioned that she had one and wished she had gotten it sooner I was sold. This dryer is AWESOME! I have thick 4c hair that usually takes forever to blow dry. This dryer took about 1/2 of the time to dry my hair as my old blow dryer. The dryer is super light, easy to handle, and my hair wasn’t dry at the end. Definitely recommend this blow dryer!
I have shopped at Sally's for many years but never online. I needed a new hair dryer so I tried the online, found exactly what I wanted at a good price. It was simple to request pick up at the store and I had the Conair Silver Bird Turbo Dryer sooner than expected. I am impressed with how quiet the dryer is and the 8 foot cord is appreciated. I like the lowest heat setting is cool giving me more options than my old hair dryer. My hair comes out smooth and frizz free. I am a fan of Sally's and Conair.Shirley D.

I bought this because I just had shoulder surgery and cannot raise my right arm above my head. This allowed me to do a blow out and style my hair like I normally would. I still had to go over with a straightener. I’m not sure if that is due to the product or because I was doing it with one hand. I have short hair that is somewhere between my ears and chin. The barrel size was great for this length. Very happy with the product.Aellis0246
I’m not sure if I should return and continue my search for a better one or keep this one. It certainly works better then the Conair model for sure. Which btw, had a strong chemical scent when turned on and the motor was SO loud. Revlon which was cheaper also did it better. Simple and effective motor wasn’t unbearably loud…However I can’t help but feel like it’s cheap.. the thin aluminum or metal wrapped around the brush head combined with heat makes me feel like I’m damaging my hair.. there’s got to be a better one out there with more thoughtful innovative materials for hair. But this one is defiantly worth the price if your on a budget or looking for a starter of one of these. I just a bit boujie.thatsmyjam
I love this styling hair dryer! I’ve been using one version or another of it for over 15 years. I think this is my 3rd or 4th one. If I remember correctly, I’ve never had the motor blow out, it’s always been the locking mechanism that broke or that I dropped the curling brush and the plastic broke where it would engage with the locking mechanism. It’s fantastic for my medium length, thick, naturally wavy hair. I usually wait until my hair is partially dry before using and then style with the larger curling brush to minimize my slight, natural frizz and maximize my natural waves. For me, it’s worth every penny, even if I do end up replacing it every so often!Kat

I’ve seen a lot of hype on social media about this dryer, so I’ve wanted to try it for some time. The price tag stopped me, but when it when on sale, I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad that I did! I’ve had rotator cuff surgery, and was worried about it being heavy as some reviews have said, but I don’t find it heavy at all. I had also read reviews about difficulties with the attachments, but I have had absolutely no issues at all. I find them easy to put on and I love that they click into place when rotated to different angles. My favourite feature is that it turns off when I put it down. Since I dry my shoulder-length hair in sections, it really helps keep my bathroom from overheating. I have fine, colour-treated hair that is curly/frizzy if it isn’t blow dried, and I really like the variety of temperature settings that this dryer offers so that I can baby rather than damage my hair. With my old dryer, it took about 25 minutes to do all of the sections. I didn’t find that it cut down my drying time as much as some people have said, but it does a nice job of drying my hair smoothly, so I don’t have to do quite as much with the flat iron. (I do still have to use it.) Fly-always are not eliminated (it is winter, after all), but I think they are reduced. Even my husband loves this dryer for his short hair. I’m glad I took the plunge and gave this dryer a try. It’s a keeper!Sneakers23
I bought this dryer for its great reviews thinking I was going to get a hair dryer that left my hair silky smooth. After what felt like an eternity of blowing out my hair, I look like a lion. The dryer at high speed puts out as much as air as the lowest setting of every other dryer I’ve ever owned. No power whatsoever. My hair is left full of frizz and is not at all silky. (Note: I do not skimp on hair products and only buy from salon, so it’s definitely the hair dryer). I will be returning it. So disappointed. What’s the hefty price tag for—pretty marketing? Sleek design is about all you’re paying for.Laurenrc84
I bought this dryer after trying so many before, the latest being the Instyler 7x dryer, that one was awful and I had to return it. This dryer I was hesitant to buy because of the expense, I waited for a sale and snagged one. I'm so happy I did!! Its buttons are genius because they are recessed into the handle and you can't accidentally push them. It doesn't get too hot and fry your hair or blow too hard and make it into a tangled mess. It's fairly quiet and lightweight too. It is just right with everything, I feel like goldilocks! My hair is soft and healthier since I stopped using my old dryers that overheated my hair. The only thing I don't like is the concentrator attachments are hard to get on and off.Kirsten

I didn't expect this to be my favorite hair dryer ever, but I was looking for something cost efficient that I could leave at my boyfriends home. I purchased this 3 months ago and use it 2/week on average. It's effectively an average product, but the film has all but peeled off the handle just from being held. Cosmetically, i don't care much. But what drives me mad is it peels off onto my palm and is VERY difficult to remove from the skin.. it also flakes onto the vanity which is even harder to remove.. the photos speak for themselves. I've never encountered an issue like this and promise you won't want to experience it either. Tossing it in the trash, waste of money.Rinn
As a working mom with two young boys, I don't have a ton on extra time in the morning for my hair care routine. Unfortunately, I have very thick hair, that when blown dry often is subjected to dry and brittle ends. I have struggle over the years to find a dryer that will not break the bank or my hair from continued usage. I think I have found that in the Infinity Pro Frizz Free Compact Dryer. Not only does this lightweight dryer dry my hair in record time; my ends are not completely fried. As a result, my thick hair has bounce and shine, just as if I have just left the salon. In addition, I have been able to use this dryer every day, and still had miraculous results. This dryer is also lightweight enough that I can take it on my weekly travel trips. I would highly recommend this dryer, especially for anyone with extremely thick hair, usually requiring long drying times. Not only will the cost of the Infinity Pro Frizz Free not break my bank but better less not break my hair!sawain
I was very pleased with the appearance of the Conair InfinitiPro Compact dryer. While it's not as small as some other compact dryers on the market, it's easy to travel with if you have a small travel bag or a suitcase. It's relatively light and the diffuser and concentrator are relatively easy to store as well. I love the color of the dryer too, it's very elegant and attractive and would make a nice gift as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the speeds and the power of the dryer. I personally use the highest setting for a quick dry but the middle and lower setting is just as effective when I use it for styling. The dryer is comfortable to hold and to use and isn't heavy at all. It has a little hanging hook for easy storage but since it doesn't take up much space, it fits compactly into a cabinet or even a large vanity drawer. The only thing that I would change about the dryer is the heat level. It's not quite as hot as I would like and since I have medium back-length hair, it does take a little longer to dry than what I'm used to. This is only a small inconvenience though and I'm very happy with the hairdryer. I've only used it to straighten and volumize so far and it's done the job it advertises and more. It eliminated frizz completely and my hair looks sleek and fly-away free.ValeriyaW

Great value!!! If you cannot afford the Dyson air wrap , this brush can basically give you the same results for less than $20. It works best on dry hair or at least 80-90% dry so to prevent extra heat damage. The biggest brush leaves the hair with more voluminous waves while the smaller one gives the waves more definition (can get more curly).nicoly.l
Yes, the hair gets tangled. The directions say: “Release curls by placing the finger of one hand on the cool tip and pressing the rotate barrel button with the other hand. Be sure to let the cool tip rotate while you press the button.” This gave me the impression that the barrel rotates. Silly me. The barrel did not rotate. I called the company and was told that it does not rotate, but it just loosens and lets you pull the brush out. It does NOT loosen. It actually pulls out any curt and lift that I managed to get in. It does not seem to have much drying power. The barrel gets hot, but there isn’t enough air blowing to dry my hair. My old 300W Conair does a much better job but the barrel is too big for my newly shortened hair. I’d still be using it if the smaller brush hadn’t gotten lost in my recent move. Since I bought the Revlon for the smaller brush rotating brush, it's going back today. Additionally, the Revlon Perfect Heat 300W Hot Air Styler and Dryer is marked 500W. (It feels like I imagine a 100W would feel.) One star because it's better than nothing.tilu
The or even the are 100%, HOLY GRAIL ITEMS!!!! I can not dry or do my hair without them! And that is coming from a girl who would happily spend tons of time on my hair to get it to look just how I wanted it to in the past bc I am so picky when it comes to my hair. Using these products gives me absolutely beautiful results in no time at all! Both of these products serve a dual purpose for me, in that while they are drying my wet hair, they are also straitening my hair into a smooth, non-frizzy, shiny, blown out, look in just a couple of minutes! After my first use, I was like, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE?! After I get out of the shower, I personally use and spray my damp hair and then I use the hot brush through my hair slowly with my head upside down. I will then work my way to lifting my head back up, so I can start lifting my hair at the roots slowly upwards just a little, on the top, to give my hair a fuller, more lifted, boost, all over the crown of my head from the roots! The finished product looks AAAH-MAAZ-ZIIIING! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, RECOMMEND!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟cara.s

I bought this blow dryer after seeing it on an influencer’s video. It did not disappoint! It’s the first blow dryer I’ve used where I feel like I’m in control of my hair. Usually my hair has a mind of its own, but I’ve had consistent good hair days since switching to this dryer. The price was great too – considerably cheaper than on other websites. Worth every penny!Janelle
I was looking for a new hair dryer because my last Hot Topic was \"sparking\" (scary). So I decided that having gone through many, many hair dryers I would look into something that hopefully would be of better quality. As I was looking through some of the various models and checking the reviews one in particular caught my eye. I have thin, straight hair. The reviewer touted that her hair was fuller and appeared to have more body much like when she frequented her hair stylist. Body? Fullness? I decided to take a chance and spend the extra $$ on the Elchim 2001 Professional Hair Dryer. I must admit that the results were AMAZING! Fullness & body have been brought home and I couldn\'t be happier with my choice. The hair dryer made all the difference and I now had results that had only been gotten from a professional hair stylist. I highly recommend this product.Stan
Have been using my new dryer in my home setting for about a week now. So far, so good. It's quieter than my last dryer. The high setting is pretty hot, so am mostly using the two lower settings of the three available. With lots of power, my hair gets dried in a jiffy. The colors of the dryer make one happy…. Little but good way to spice up the day. We'll see how it holds up over time. Also, the dryer arrived about a week before the expected delivery date, which pleased me no end! Didn't get much in the way of information as it was traveling across the nation to get to my house. Info received was basically, "It's on its way," and "Out for delivery." No interim travel updates were given. But it arrived just fine!Barbara
