I have thick hair that's styled into a bob and I have been using a normal hairbrush to style my hair for the longest time. I finally ordered this hairbrush because I wasn't getting the results I wanted from a normal brush and I am so happy! I am actually able to "roll" my hair and it doesn't hurt! My hair doesn't tangle either when I use a rolling motion with this brush. It does heat up so you have to be careful but so far I haven't been burned or anything. The detachable parting tool is also a bonus that I enjoy. For reference, I bought the 1.3" brush and it's perfect for my above-shoulder length hair. If your hair is shorter and close to your jawline, I recommend buying the smaller sizes
I have never used a blow out brush so I was not sure how easy or hard this was going to be to use. This small round brush seemed to work really well for small sections of hair. I absolutely love the pin that is located inside the bottom of the brush. You pull this pin and you run it through sections of your hair to get nice even sections with less mess. I noticed this brush was great for my bangs and sides even though all of my hair is one length. It was great for these areas because it gave me lift and volume where I needed it the most. Some great points I found are this brush is its very lightweight which is super important since your arms up in the air for such a long period of time. The bristles even though kind of tough on the bare hand are very gentle on the scalp almost massaging. I loved that I noticed when using this my hair stayed straight longer and it has so much less frizz. I did notice that the barrel can get a bit hot when used for extended time. I’m a senior with fine lifeless hair that has never been able to hold any kind of hair clip. Also, as often happens with age it’s now thinning too. I keep my hair short and use the brush to style my hair when I’m drying it with my hairdryer. Naturally, it only takes a couple of nanoseconds for my hair to dry and the brush gives me a bit of lift which is all I expect. My hair never tangles in the brush, nor have I noticed an abundance of hair caught in the bristles after use. I recommend this product. I've tried several of these, and this one is the best of them. It dries my thick, coarse hair quickly. Usually I let it air dry, while doing makeup, getting dressed, etc. Sometimes doing a quick rough dry with my regular blow dry with my regular hair dryer, but honestly I think this probably isn't even necessary, as far as for time sake. It may be quicker not to rough dry first. Mostly I do that just to try to minimize heat damage, because this does get pretty hot. This doesn't seem to do any damage, though, and makes my hair look so soft and smooth and healthy looking! I like the smaller barrel. I wanted to be able to create some wave at the ends with it, and I can do it to some extent, with the right technique. I couldn't with the bigger ones I've tried. My hair is pretty long with a lot layers. Overall I love this tool, and recommend it over most others of this nature, and it's a great price too!Nikki
Was going back and forth between this one and the Revlon one. After watching some YouTube reviews picked this one and glad I did. It does not disappoint! I have thick, long (mid back) wavy hair. I was able to blow dry and style a soaking wet head, right out of the shower, in 26 mins. I usually let me hair air dry first so excited to use it again knowing I can probably get it down to 15 mins. I will add, this movement to dry my hair is quick for me because I have been round brush drying my hair for years so there may be a learning curve for others. I also don't expect pin straight from always using a round brush so this does have some body and flow which I like. But you could quickly run a straightener through at the end if you like that look. I saw people stating it gets hot but that makes sense, it should. The barrel is ceramic just like a curling iron so it will get hot. Keep you hands on the cool tip and don't grab your hair right from it. Grab from the top of your hair, give it a second or switch to cool before changing sections of hair. Okay I cannot say enough great things about this brush.. I am truly obsessed. My hair is slightly wavy without much shape or style when left to air dry. Prior to the brush, I would often blow dry and lightly straighten or attempt to blow it out with a round brush and blow dryer. This brush seriously changed my life. I could not believe how easy it was to use and to style my hair! I have found that I prefer to blow dry my hair a bit instead of using the brush on soaking hair because it has been saving time. I will say that I definitely recommend heat protectant and hair oil because if not used carefully, hair can be pulled out. I would suggest watching a video or tutorial depending on how you want to style your hair but go get this brush! I have been asked multiple times if I just got a hair cut because it looks that good! I also find that I really don't have to touch it up once I initially style my hair and the look has lasted me 3 days between washes without having to redo it. This is the fourth Calista product I’ve purchased over the years. The motor started slowing down in November (2021) right after I purchased the same with a smaller barrel for my mother for Christmas. But then I knew it was a matter of time before mine would completely stop working. Sure enough, the heating mechanism shut down on January 6th, 2022. Completely disappointed since I trusted the product name. It should’ve lasted longer than less than two years. I purchased in May of 2020. It’s too expensive to not last. I've had this product for a little over a year. After a couple of months of use, the settings went off and the low was operating on high and vice versa. Last week it stopped working completely. It is a surprise because I love Calista's products and I have her curler for over 4 years now and it works perfectly fine. This brush, however, not so much. I got this Volumizer because my blow dryer went kaput, and I wanted a dryer that wouldn’t make me look like I had gone out in a wind storm. This volumizer definitely works! I felt like it made my hair look thicker but at the same time smooth after I washed. I did towel dry my hair before I used it, as suggested in the booklet. It didn’t dry my hair any faster than a regular dryer, so if your concern is speed, you would need something else. However, it doesn’t do too bad if you want to smooth your hair as you colonize. I like the fact that you can remove the brush attachment to clean and I used it briefly without to dry my hair some at the roots before I did the rest. The temp settings are nice too, if you don’t want high heat or you have thinner hair, in which lower heat is probably better, and the cool setting is also nice if you don’t need heat. I used the plastic sleeve to cover the brush part back after it cooled to protect it until next time. Overall, a great product, and affordable.NolaF
I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. Very nice little hairdryer. The attached brush makes it easy to blow dry your hair. However this is not for short hair. I have super short hair and I found it not to be helpful at all when the brush was attached. So I remove the brush and use just the dryer part and I got very nice results as well dried it fast and didn’t get too hot as I did not put it on the hot setting. So I let my daughter use it who has not quite shoulder length hair and she found it to be a very nice hair dryer as well. Although when the hair is really wet after a shower it does take longer to use this dryer. She found she used her prior hairdryer to dry the hair to just damp and then she would finish it with this hairdryer using the attached brush. She really liked the ease of use. How nicely it fit in her hand it was not awkward at all. It made the hair smooth and shiny. Not frizzy at all. She then tried it on my granddaughter who has just longer than shoulder length hair. Once again,It took longer to dry the hair using just this hairdryer but it really made a huge difference in her hair. It smoothed it down and made it soft and shiny. And it flipped the ends and made them bouncy and curly. It Gave her hair a whole new look. My granddaughter was extremely happy with the look when she was done. They have been using this study since I have gave it to them to use. It has 4 settings: high, med, low and cool. The medium setting we found to be the best. This is a great blow dryer for those who want smooth looks with volume. It is easy to grasp and hold while using and doesn't bother my wrists or hands, and is not heavy. It has several heat modes so you can choose according to your hair needs. I use the medium setting for my fine hair. I section my hair and use the dryer on those parts, working my way up. It takes little time to dry, as the brush lifts and separates your hair. You can go under the hair like I do, for volume, or for smoothing just brush it down on the hair strands. It can get quite hot, so be careful with your fingers. I can dry my hair much quicker with this dryer by taking sections, compared to a normal blow dryer and brush routine. It cools quickly so that I'm able to put it away when I'm done with my makeup. I use a flat iron to finish up, but normally it is just minimal, because the blow dryer does such a great job. I would recommend this for anyone who wants smoother hair. My hair is pretty straight, so I don't know how it works with someone with some curl. I can set it on the low setting to dry my bangs slowly, so I can get them where I want them. I would definitely recommend this dryer over some others that I have had. The brush is not as large as my older brand, that was heavy and harder to control My hair is just touching my collar and the other brand wasn't able to get the shorter hairs underneath, but this one does. So I bought both the bedhead at retail price and the Drybar blow dryer brush, on sale and mostly with points. Full disclosure, I only paid $60 for the drybar, so it wasn't a huge loss to experiment with which I like. Here are my thoughts: Bedhead wins on price for sure, though since I only paid like $60 for the drybar one I'm going to keep it because it's not *that* much more expensive and I'm curious as far as lasting, which one will keep up through time (which is TBD obvi) Drybar wins on handle comfort. It's much smaller in diameter both in the brush and the handle than the bed head, which makes it much less heavy and comfortable to hold. I also love the square tip because it makes it super easy to notice by feel if I'm losing the angle I want. They both have only two heat settings and a cool function, but here's where things get strange. I feel like the drybar is the same hotness, but it made my hair much frizzier the first time I used it than the bedhead. Like super frizzy! The second time I used it I switched to the lower setting when I was near my roots which helped, but makes it annoying to keep flipping between. Temp wise they feel the same, but I think drybar blows harder on high which is causing the frizz. So for blow power and heat drybar was higher but bedhead wins because more power isn't necessarily better, like standing in front of a jet engine might dry my hair fast but it'd be a mess lol They also both dried my hair in the same amount of time, even with the more power of the drybar, probably because I had to switch to low so often to avoid frizz. So they tie here as far as time (about 8 minutes total). I also think even though the handle was more comfortable with drybar, my hair got stuck in it a few times and that was so annoying. It's never happened with the bedhead and I think it's because it's wider. Overall I give bedhead an 8, room for improvement in the handle design and adding the square to the top sounds stupid but when I can feel it level in the back it makes it so much easier. Drybar I'd like less power and a wider design to avoid hair pulling and frizzing. And the retail cost is definitely not worth it to me so that brings it to a 6. I have tried other more expensive name brand hot air brushes. They didn’t work as good as this Bed Head. This is the best for my thick course frizzy hair. Tourmaline does not dry out hair. I wanted a very hot, 3” oval barrel, high wattage. Some may need extra care to get used to but it’s manageable. Dries hair quickly, with salon like finish. Smooths hair. No snagging or tangling. I use no other hair tools. Not louder than other dryers. Use ear plugs if sensitive. I would definitely buy this dryer again. Hope it doesn’t burn out for awhile anyway. First off my fault for not reading this was oval. It's about 4 1/2" from bristle tip to bristle tip on the wide side and 3" on the other. The barrel itself seems to be 3" X 1 3/4". The handle is kind of big too and my hand cramps when holding it. As far as loudness goes, it's not bad. I would say typical hair dryer. This did not give my hair the fullness I was expecting and got from my old round brush hair dryer. I can see where it would be better for long hair or for people looking for something to straighten there hair while drying. I've tried several of these, and this one is the best of them. It dries my thick, coarse hair quickly. Usually I let it air dry, while doing makeup, getting dressed, etc. Sometimes doing a quick rough dry with my regular blow dry with my regular hair dryer, but honestly I think this probably isn't even necessary, as far as for time sake. It may be quicker not to rough dry first. Mostly I do that just to try to minimize heat damage, because this does get pretty hot. This doesn't seem to do any damage, though, and makes my hair look so soft and smooth and healthy looking! I like the smaller barrel. I wanted to be able to create some wave at the ends with it, and I can do it to some extent, with the right technique. I couldn't with the bigger ones I've tried. Was going back and forth between this one and the Revlon one. After watching some YouTube reviews picked this one and glad I did. It does not disappoint! I have thick, long (mid back) wavy hair. I was able to blow dry and style a soaking wet head, right out of the shower, in 26 mins. I usually let me hair air dry first so excited to use it again knowing I can probably get it down to 15 mins. I will add, this movement to dry my hair is quick for me because I have been round brush drying my hair for years so there may be a learning curve for others. I also don't expect pin straight from always using a round brush so this does have some body and flow which I like. But you could quickly run a straightener through at the end if you like that look. I saw people stating it gets hot but that makes sense, it should. The barrel is ceramic just like a curling iron so it will get hot. Keep you hands on the cool tip and don't grab your hair right from it. Grab from the top of your hair, give it a second or switch to cool before changing sections of hair. Okay I cannot say enough great things about this brush.. I am truly obsessed. My hair is slightly wavy without much shape or style when left to air dry. Prior to the brush, I would often blow dry and lightly straighten or attempt to blow it out with a round brush and blow dryer. This brush seriously changed my life. I could not believe how easy it was to use and to style my hair! I have found that I prefer to blow dry my hair a bit instead of using the brush on soaking hair because it has been saving time. I will say that I definitely recommend heat protectant and hair oil because if not used carefully, hair can be pulled out. I would suggest watching a video or tutorial depending on how you want to style your hair but go get this brush! I have been asked multiple times if I just got a hair cut because it looks that good! I also find that I really don't have to touch it up once I initially style my hair and the look has lasted me 3 days between washes without having to redo it. My hair is thick, wavy, coarse, and a little frizzy. Recently my hairdresser has been blowing out my hair and straightening it. Most of the time she can get my hair beautifully smooth just by using a round brush and a hair dryer. When I try to replicate this at home, I just feel like I don't have enough hands to do it well. I’ve been checking out hair dryers that have brush attachments as a potentially handier option than what I have. I had been looking at another dryer with only a round brush attachment, but after getting the T3 Airebrush, I'm very glad I chose this one with two brush attachments. I found that I liked the flat brush better than the round brush, even though I was not expecting to use the flat brush attachment at all! Since air is only coming out of one side of the flat brush as opposed to all sides of the round brush, the air and heat is more concentrated causing the hair to dry faster. The flat brush smoothed and straightened my hair very nicely. I used the round brush by winding the hair section and holding it for about 8-10 seconds then ending with a shot of cool air before unwinding. This took more time than I usually spend on my hair, but it got me at least 3 complements at work after drying my hair with the round brush! The round brush dries the root area faster and creates more volume. Positives: *Two brush styles for flexibility. *Beautiful product and packaging. *The ability to turn ions off and on. *Multiple heat settings, including cool. Negatives: *Works best after your hair has partially dried. Unless you air-dry your hair, you'll need a second blow dryer. *Once the cool air button is depressed it takes 8-10 seconds for the air to come out cool. *Cool button is oddly placed near the power button, so the power is easy to hit instead of the cool. The T3 Airebrush is a great package if you’re in the market a specialty product like this. I knew I needed this hot/blow dry brush in my life! For the last several years I’ve been regularly styling my hair with a blow dryer + round brush combo. The Airebrush Duo is everything I expected from a T3 product—it is thoughtfully designed, highly functional, quality performance, excellent results, and as all T3 products are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Love the two attachments for different looks, the different heat and air settings for the most hair customization I’ve seen in a brush, and a lovely volume and cool shot boost. This brush doesn’t get unbearably hot like others. The design of the brush itself is also very comfortable to hold and fairly lightweight. My arms don’t get as sore! I adore the brush design as the bristles and spacing of the air holes are so well designed—it’s very grippy and I don’t find that my hair blows all over or falls off the brush easily, so you get amazing tension and smoothness. It is also much easier to maintain than other brushes I’ve tried and I can easily remove any hair caught in the bristles. If you’re an avid blow dryer + round brush person, you won’t regret this purchase. Freeing up one hand is life changing and a lot less sore! I have fine hair but a lot of it and I find the perfect setting is the medium or highest air setting on heat level 2 or 3. About my hair: stick straight, baby fine, but tons of it. It's currently just past my shoulders in length, all one layer, no bangs, and gets oily fairly quickly/easily (I can usually only go every other day between washes, and usually involves at least some dry shampoo on the skip day) I've been wanting to try a blow dry brush for the longest time, but kept putting it off because I didn't want to spend money on yet another gadget that does what I can do with my already-owned round brush and hair dryer. Personally, I think I was right. I get the same results from this as I do with my round brush and Dyson hair dryer. That being said, it *is* handy to have the brush and blow dryer all in one, because you're not having to try to finagle the brush in a way that it isn't in the way of the warm air from the blow dryer but still productive. Usually, I just let my hair air dry in the mornings because I run out of time to blow dry and my hair dries pretty quickly, but now that it is getting colder, I will need to start blow drying my hair in the mornings, so this all-in-one will come in handy to at least speed up the drying. TL;DR: Cons: * the device has a really long handle which can be cumbersome and hard to manage * there are literally no instructions in the box on how to use the device, other than suggestions for temperature settings based on hair type. For someone who has never used something like this, that might be intimidating, because there are options on the dryer that aren't fully explained. * you're technically supposed to blow dry your hair to 80% dry and THEN use the device. When I tested it, I did it straight from being towel dried and had no issue (and it actually dried just as fast as it does when I use my hair dryer) Pros: * eliminates the need for a round brush and hair dryer * dries hair quickly * interchangeable brushes (paddle and round) * different temperature and air speed options for a personalized dry * power cord is a nice length, which was super helpful for me since the one and only outlet in my bathroom isn't near the sink/vanity Bottom line: I wouldn't personally go out of my way to get one, but now that I have it, I will keep using it. I use it on the low heat and low speed settings, but even the high heat setting doesn’t get too terribly hot that it’s going to fry my fine hair off. However, if you have thicker or course hair you might find it doesn’t give off enough heat to hold a style. My first time owning or using the fantastic little tool. I used the smaller barrel as my hair is short and tends to frizz. Was able to dry and style all at the same time. Hair came out impressive. I use the larger barrel on my granddaughter’s long beautiful thick thick hair. Comes out beautiful. Very easy to use and control this styler. We both get wonderful results that are quick and easy. I’ve only used it twice and feel that the ‘High’ setting isn’t hot enough. I need more time to have it work for me. I need to get used to it. Play with it. You are rushing me for an opinion!!! My first impression of this was that it is very convenient to use when you are running on a little bit of time to get ready. You have to run this brush slowly through your hair to get a nice result and you do have to pass it through a couple of times. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a protective glove of some sort because it does burn your hand while trying to brush through. So a tip would be brush and pass through with a comb. It’s hard getting close to the roots and the results are NOT pin straight. It does get rid of the frizz and as for the shine I never paid attention because my hair gets oily so I don’t know if it’s the shine comes from using the brush or not. I do recommend this product but keep in mind that this is for a quick de-frizzing straighten!
I came across this in my store on clearance for $10 and instantly thought of my 9 year old daughter who actually mentioned how frizzy her hair was a couple days earlier. I figured for $10 why not, the least I could do is return it if it didn't work! I used it on her that night and the next morning before school, while her hair may still have some slight wavyness to it, it done the trick! I was totally skeptical on this product. Because I got it for free using my score reward points from my bank. I own several different straighteners but none of them have really been able to straighten my hair. There is usually some type of a wave still left in my hair after straightening no matter how I straighten it. I have very curly hair. After receive my free straightener I decided to use it after washing my hair. Totally amazed with this product, I love this product after one use my hair is perfectly straight there are no waves left in my hair after using this. Usually takes 30 mins to straighten my hair this product took me less than 10 minutes to use. The only downfall to this is that the top part of the handle does get a little hot after holding it for a few minutes but other than that this is a perfect hair straightener. I am not someone who enjoys the process of getting “presentable”. I just want to look reasonably put together without standing in front of the mirror for an hour. I would only blow dry my hair when I had to get fancy, and even then, I would just roughly blow dry my hair upside down, then finish with a small hot air brush. It didn’t look great, but it was fine. I bought this thing on whim after watching a YouTube review and I’m in looooove. It’s chonky, but it’s really light, which is awesome, because my muscles get fatigued quickly and using a regular dryer and brush was kind of exhausting by the end. I have long, fine, straight hair and I just work in 3rds from the bottom up, and all my hair is fully dry, super straight, and shockingly smooth in less than 20 minutes. Maybe way less, I haven’t actually timed it. It gets hot enough to dry my hair fast AF, but not enough to make my head sweaty or hurt my scalp when I’m at the roots because of the bristle length. (Don’t get me wrong, the barrel will definitely burn your finger a lil bit if your hand slips, but that’s just hot tools in general.) This thing is a game changer for me. Maybe even a HG. Yeah, it is. I love it. My only concern is with maintenance/cleaning. I use the tail of a comb to pull off the loose hairs around the barrel after each use, but I noticed that the little nubby short bristles seem to have some product buildup where they come out of the barrel. I’m not sure if that will affect performance long term or if there’s anything I can do about it, but maybe CS can answer that? Anyway, if you’re on the fence, get this, it’s the best.AMadea S.
This is definitely not my favorite INH item. I really think this piece of work isn't for fine hair like mine. The brush feels wayyy too big for my hand and the little tips from the brush are actually falling apart easily so the plastic scratches my head. The item itself is not heavy at all but I have trouble gripping while I brush my hair. I wouldn't recommend this big brush to anyone with fine to thin hair. It does take me a good 10 minutes struggling to brush my hair and if you have small hands like me, you'll be wacking your head a little bit. I am slightly disappointed that it wasn't my kind of blow dryer brush and wished I could have sent it back. I barely use it so it was kind of a waste of money for me. Again, this might just not be for me because of the texture of my hair. But 6/10 INH.
I loved this tool. Then it randomly stopped working. Was outside of the year warranty and the company said there was nothing they could do other than offer me 25% discount code for a new purchase. To clarify I bought this tool Nov 30, 2021 and it stopped working Jan 4, 2022. So I had it for a year 1 month and 5 days when it stopped working- NOT grossly outside the warranty. I could understand them saying no if had been 2 years but I was barely over warranty. For the price, I just don't think it's worth it. There are cheaper alternatives on the market with similar specs to this. I can't speak to performance pf other brands blowout brushes, but my cheap af target straightener lasted me like 5 years before crapping out. I am gentle with my tools- I actually kept the box and always stored it in there. Unless you can buy this on sale I don't recommend at this price, especially cause you very well may be needing to repurchase a replacement in a year or less. Additionally I really think they delete negative reviews. When I google this tool it has less stars but when I click on reviews here the lowest I see is four stars. This is my HONEST review- did I love the results of this product? Yes it is easy to use and offers a great blowout, but be wary on it's shelf life. It may be worth it to check out another brand instead. I'm off to try the Revlon– if I wind up thinking INH is better I will come back and eat my words. Also there is a learning curve with blowout brushes for newbs. My advice- only use on damp or almost dry hair- not sopping wet. Do your hair in small sections- believe me you'll save time in the long run. And if you want more volume hold the brush vertically as you twist the barrel and horizontally out beside your head. So personally this brush is not great whatsoever when it comes to detangling my hair (I have type 3c/4a curly hair.) I bought this brush about 1-2 years ago and tried using it multiple but every time I would use it my curls would get really clumped together, I would have a lot naps/knots, and the definition in my hair was never as good as when I would use my fingers. However, recently I have finally found a use for this brush when it comes to styling my hair. This brush is amazing when it comes to slicking my hair back in ponytails and other slick back styles. The Denman brush is such a great styling tool. I would not recommend using this as a detangling brush if you have thick coily hair but as a styling brush it works perfectly. I have type 4 hair and it defines my curls beautifully with the help of some leave-in conditioner and gel. I definitely recommend giving this brush a try. I bought the brush because of the good description. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed.. Positive: – the brush is good in the hand. – The brush pulls dog hair well out of the hair thanks to the rubber pad (have 4 Hundeli..) – when wet, the brush can arrange the hair very well and the long bristles are enough even for my thick, long North African hair! Negatives: – The brush pulls strongly and is painful. – The bristles are exrtrem Hard and not flexible (the solid rubber pad gives only a little). – I wear a vintage cut for vintage curls, meaning my hair is not layered. The brush struggles at the tips. It gets through the top pretty well, the bottom I usually have to help with my fingers. – Never in my life have I had statically charged hair! I use a Schwerses hair oil for Indian hair…. nevertheless, this brush creates it after a brush stroke on dry hair that the hair flies around everywhere. Even "unloaded" on the heater / water tap of the brush brings nothing! Immediately it charges widee. (Hairspray also does not help…) My hair is always air-dried and kept supple with oil. The clothes I wear (even without clothes and without carpet…) does not change anything…. This one point brings me to such a negative rating. I've never had this in my life… and the brush is touted as extra static charge resistant thanks to rubber pads… too bad. This brush gets right through it all and leaves my hair feeling so soft and looking super shiny! Spend the money and get the decent brush. Conair makes a lot of things I love and use, great value most of the time. I just scooped my wet hair up in this and Tangled it all up in there so that it was literally resting on top of my head. 40 minutes later and an entire bottle of leaving greasy conditioner I finally worked the brush loose with a pick comb. I have never had this with any other round blow dry brush ever. Here's a tip I found online if you ever get your brush in and it literally will not move at all, do a Google search for how to get a stuck brush out of your hair. It recommends going very gently from the bottom, after you have dumped on a ton of conditioner to slick it up.NJ
Lord Have Mercy I thought I was going to have to cut out a swath of my hair. I tried it on almost dry hair and followed directions only using on the end and somehow it engulfed the entire swath of hair and I thought I would never get it out. I had to pick out pieces of hair, and not very many at a time, to try and get this little brush out of my hair. I have thrown it away. Never again will I use anything but Boar Hair in a brush.sarge

This thing is flimsy plastic and won’t work well unless you have very thin, fine, short hair probably—and even then I can’t be sure. The heat and the air flow is low, there’s no options to choose from. I bought it to style my bangs and maybe help dry my hair faster, but it barely did the job. You could get a decent round brush and a travel dryer at Sally for the same price and get better results. I recommend waiting for the hot shot tools volumizer brush dryer to go on sale, it’s double the price but the results are about 200% better. Don’t waste your money on this.Kathleen
I looked for a long time for an airbrush with narrow diameter to get some curls when drying. This does it. Someone has complained that it does not put out enough heat to dry fast. Perhaps it is not fast enough for other people but I do not think high heat is good for hair. For me it works perfect.Nikki
Dryer was very low even on the high setting. I can dry my hair faster with my regular dryer and round brush. This had no power. My hair is wavey frizzy. Medium length. Not thick. It took forever for 1 section. I have up. Even tried it on my 7yr olds long hair. It did nothing. Even towel dried very well before.Aysah

I have purchased two of the revlon one step brushes. First one stopped working about 5 months in so I repurchased a second one. A year later and my hair is fried! I had to cut about two inches off of my hair. I use salon quality products so I knew the damage was from the revlon brush. I purchased the chi the day after I cut my hair!! my revlon brush went in the trash! I needed something with less heat and a smaller barrel. I found chi and I'm so happy I did! This uses less heat and doesn't damage my hair. I can touch my hair after going through it with the chi on the high setting on the revlon I couldn't my hair was so hot to the touch! the chi is also ALOT quieter! I live in a apartment building and I was worried the revlon was actually disturbing my neighbors that's how loud it really is. give this brush a chance 🙂 this should be more popular than the revlon.Ash
Hit or miss on this one. Had it for a week and started just blowing cold air. Must have clunked it in my drawer (not intentionally) because hot air started working but there is a rattle in the fan. Now it just hums because the piece must have gotten stuck and I am afraid to use it. Only had it a couple months. But I did love how it worked on my curly hair to straighten and make my hair smooth. I bought this from Ulta , because of the different attachments. I have avoided these brush dryers, because I have long, naturally curly hair and figured it was a disaster waiting to happen. I decided to give the Chi a go since I wouldn't be stuck with just a round brush. I tried the flat paddle brush first and that didn't go well. It was hard to work with and I couldn't get the area by my roots to straighten very well. Next, I used it as a a straight up hair dryer. It gets hot enough, but doesn't blow enough air, so drying took forever. I finally gave in and tried the round brush attachment and I was hooked! I section of small areas to work with and it worked great!! I was even able to get the areas by the roots! I used it 3-4 times weekly for 5 months and then it stopped working correctly. It still worked, but only cold air blew out. I returned it and decided (fingers crossed) to give it another go, because that's how happy I was with it and even after having read prior reviews of this issue. My second purchase worked equally as great, but then after TWO months the air stopped blowing out as much and it got super hot within seconds of turning it on. RIP to my 2nd Chi. I love how it works, I was willing to give it another try, but sadly I was disappointed and now I'm in search of another brand, because now I'm hooked on the ease of styling my hair. I never knew how other women can maneuver both a brush and a hairdryer at the same time. Maybe it’s a simple task for most people, but it’s never been easy for me. That’s why I needed this product. I think it’s an ingenious invention! I have very fine hair that tangles easily, so brushing repeatedly while drying is a must to prevent it from drying up into a big tangle.I will say, this device is quite bigger than expected and rather heavy however, once you get used to maneuvering it, it’s really very intuitive. Just hold out/onto sections of your hair and brush from top to bottom, repeatedly. It helps to separate the hair in layers, too. This device gets the job done fairly quickly with minimal tangling.A final note of caution: The high mode gets surprisingly hot… I’d say it’s closer to the heat level of a hair straightener than a blow dryer. So be very careful not to touch the brush part OR the upper handle with your fingers while it’s on high heat. I think my blow dryer I've been using just went obsolete in my world. I've been fighting curly, unruly frizzy hair my whole life. Been using a professional blow dryer with a specific round brush, and painstakingly drying my hair with the little attachment and a round brush for decades. Gave up on that and started ruining my hair with a flat iron. Still never could achieve that shine I've always dreamed of. UNTIL now. I feel like this thing has been the best kept secret to women everywhere. Works fast, doesn't yank or break my hair, ALOT less breakage noticed in the sink than anything else I've ever used. Fast, and works wonders. The highest setting is truly hot, I only had to use medium setting and it works beautifully. It is slightly heavier than I would prefer, but easy to use for me. A bit loud, but for this hair I could care less. It's shiny, bouncy, and manageable, without a drop of serum or any leave in conditioner, just used a thermal heat protectant spray and voila. I'm sold. As long as this unit lasts, I will be raving about it. Thank you for making my life easier and helping to keep my hair healthy longer. My favorite thing about it? I can let go of the section of hair I'm drying and use the end tip to roll the dryer, and it doesn't burn my fingers at alll. Convenient isn't the word.Tasha
Unfortunately, it is true that this item is very short-lived. While it still turns on and blows hot air, the bristles have become warped and now snag and pull at my hair, severely damaging it. The design of the brush prevents removal of residue (like heat styling products) from being effectively removed — the styling cream gunk builds over time. The "cool air" setting only works with a high fan, so setting styles with cool air is impossible. Also, the labels for the heat settings wore off within a week. While any styling tool will damage your hair, this one is particularly pernicious. I have so much more breakage than ever before. My hair isn't ruined, but I am displeased. Also, the last time I used it, my hair became so hot that I burned my hand — on my hair. That was when I decided this product is going in the trash. It's too bad, because I bought it less than six months ago. While it is easier and faster than blowdrying, you'll be paying for the time gained in remarkable hair damage.Carrie

Absolute waste of money. If feels cheap and flimsy and unsafe. When I had it on the hottest setting it started to make some loud rattling noises after a minute so I'm not game to even use the hottest setting. The other settings do nothing to my hair. I don't know if the hottest setting would work as I can't leave it on long enough to find out. The other settings do nothing whatsoever. I tried it on totally dry hair and on slightly damp hair and nothing. I read reviews and checked ratings before buying and I have no idea who it got such good ones – it makes me wonder if the negative ones never see the light of day.Kris A.
Bondi Blowout brush is the best hair tool I’ve ever bought! Got on sale too which was even better! It works way beyond my expectations, easy to use and lightweight. No longer do I struggle with using a brush in one hand and dryer in the other … now I have a hand free to pick up sections of hair etc!! I let my medium to long hair air dry a little first and it takes me no time at all to dry my wavy hair straight. It’s a bit harder to use on short fringe but for the rest of my hair the brush grips nicely without tangling etc! I’m so impressed I’ve been telling my friends about it !! Overall great product. I have long fine hair, but a lot of it. So it lacks volume. Always on the lookout for an easy to use product that gives lots of volume. The blowout brush does exactly that. It is good for someone who is no good at doing their own hair. Thee large barrell helps dry hair quickly and lift it at the roots. Not fully impressed with the design. The material of the handle is nice and smooth, but if you have long hair and use the brush for about 10 to 15 minutes the handle gets very hot. The other issue I find is the switch that wraps around the end ofthe brush. While handling the brush it tends to get in the way and change settings. very easily.Sarah F.

I purchased the 60mm L’ange. I was hoping to simplify my daily hair routine with this appliance, but not so. I think it works well with damp hair, but it’s not strong enough to blow dry hair that’s completely wet. It does help smooth and bend the top layer of the hair well for my cut, but is too large for shorter hair lengths. I have a Bob cut with slight stacking at the back that angles longer on the sides, to below the chin. I still have to use my standard hair dryer with a smaller round brush on the nap of my neck and for my bangs and to take excess moisture out of my hair. I have fine hair that is reasonably thick, so I was hoping this would also give me volume. I get more volume using a large round brush and a hair dryer. The 60mm L’ange does help smooth the hair, but the metal base on the brush head does heat up quite hot so using a heat protectant is a must. It’s another styling tool that can help smooth hair providing its damp, not wet, and has some length to it. I think there are other similar appliances on the market that cost a little less that can provide the same results.Leanna A.
About a year an a half ago, I bought the very well-known, cult-favorite brush dryer (you know, the dark pink and black one!) to replace an incredibly old Conair that finally gave up the ghost. Well, I kinda liked it, but I kinda hated it, too. You see, my hair got so hot while using it I actually had to use a heat glove (like the ones that you use with a curling wand) just so I wouldn't burn my hand while handling my hair. I thought that was a bit ridiculous; not to mention damaging to my hair. My stylist (also my SIL) agreed that particular brush dryer got waaay too hot and suggested I go up-market a bit. After researching other dry brushes (including Dry Bar and Dyson), I came across an incredible sale on the L'ange Le Volume 75 MM and figured that was the sign I needed to make my final decision. I am beyond pleased with the Le Volume, it doesn't get nearly as hot as the Revlon brush dryer so I have ditched the heat glove when blow drying my hair which makes both my fingertips and hair very happy and singe-free. I love the fact that the Le Volume comes with a protective shield for the bristles; no need to worry about bent bristles during storage or when packed in my suitcase for travel. It’s been over a year since I purchased this, after using a Revlon brush for a couple of years before that. I will preface this by saying I only blow dry my hair once or twice a week, so can’t speak to what it’s like if you use this every day. The reason I made the switch is because the other dryer brush literally set off my smoke alarm, multiple times. I figured if it was doing that, probably not great for my hair. I’ve not had that problem with this brush even once. Obviously that should be the lowest bar, but there are a bunch of reasons I prefer this tool and highly recommend it. With the other, my hair stylist commented a few times in how I was getting a lot of split ends, something that I didn’t usually have. With this product, that’s not happening. The other made my hair feel like straw after a while. I literally just used this and my hair feels soft and healthy, not dry or brittle. It’s also not as hot to the touch – I burned myself on the regular with the other one. And then lastly, I will say, it’s lasted. I probably replaced the other dryer 3 times in 2 years. If this does eventually burn out – it happens to the best of them over time – I won’t hesitate to buy another one. I’ve been using the L’ange heat protector with it, but otherwise, using all the same products as before (when I used a different brand of heat protector). It’s worth the money, so if you’re thinking “Eh, how different can it really be from the cheaper ones,” the answer is vastly different.

I got this in the Lavender version and I can't say enough good things about it. I have used both the Revlon brush (which I didn't like because it got ridiculously hot and had a pretty strong smell when you used it) and the TIGI Blow Out freak brush which I liked but was also a) very hot and b) because I kept having to change it from inferno to tolerable was somewhat awkward and time consuming. This brush doesn't get too hot-almost to the point where you think it's not on hot and isn't going to work. But that isn't true-my hair looks absolutely amazing and I bleach it so it can look dry, frizz, tangle, is probably only still on my head because I Olaplex and use bond building hair mask and shampoo. This dryer is whisper quiet (the other two were LOUD) and my hair only needs two inches to be at bra strap length and it took about 11 minutes to do because I was so impressed by the volume that I made multiple passes through my hair-even sectioned it off like I actually cared, lol. (I had my hair up in a towel after the shower-applying frizz ease and this defy damage-Joicio- bond building serum. I dried my hair after lotion-ing, getting dressed, and applying make up/face stuff). The next morning I didn't have to brush my hair and I slept in a loose ponytail. My blowout still looks like I got it done at the hairdresser and my hair is actually shiny. I usually avoid drying my hair because I hate it, am lazy, and worry that it damages my hair, but I will be doing that more and using less dry shampoo. Also Walmart's price is better than Macy's (I had a gift card for the former). I almost can't wait to wash my hair again, lol.trini
