I am a long time dry/sensitive/eczema sufferer who also has Keratosis Pilaris. I have also been using a variety of lotions and oils since I was a preteen to deal with my bad skin. Since I'm in my 30s now that is a lot of years of experimentation. This is the first body lotion that I truly love love love. I've tried drugstore brands, high end spa-type brands, body butters, coconut oil, argan oil, other high end skincare focused brands (like others sold on dermstore) and I have never found a lotion I like so much. I am getting great results using a routine with a gentle emollient cleanser followed by chemical exfoliation followed by argan oil followed by this lotion (1x-2x/day). I realize it is not just this lotion that is contributing to the overall improvement in my skin but my skin has never felt so soft and smooth. The keratosis pilaris is not all the way gone but it is improving and my skin feels very nice and hydrated. Aside from the results (which could also be explained by the body wash or the strict process i'e been following lately) I also just like how the lotion feels as it goes on. It really glides across the skin and doesn't feel heavy but it is still extremely effective at sealing in the moisture. If you’re looking for a body cream that does NOT leave ANY residue after being absorbed, does not fragrance, and has actual skin-improving ingredients to help you over time — this is it. I used to use the La Roche Posay Lipikar Balm, and although it had great ingredients, it ALWAYS left a slightly oily feeling and would ALWAYS feel slippery under water — even after sleeping with it on. This one is wonderful. It’s so lightweight and absorbs so nicely. I will say, apply this to damp skin. It’s a little tough to spread on dry skin due to its fast absorption. As someone who is an avid skin care person I was excited to try this because I'm a huge fan of the brand. Because my skin is sensitive it's important that I look at the ingredients. Well, the second ingredient is propylene glycol. There's never a reason to have THAT much in a skin care product. Anyway, I saw glycolic acid was relatively high on the list which is good! But I still needed to know how much. The vast majority of brands will say what percentage of glycolic acid is in their product because it's important to know, especially if someone has sensitive skin. Well the email I received back said that they can't tell me because it's "proprietary" information. Um… what? It's not like it's a secret ingredient or I'm gonna go buy glycolic acid, get a chemistry degree, and then make it on my own! Why is it such a secret? If there's a decent amount then why not boast about it? My guess is there's barely enough to do much which is why you would need to use it twice a day along with the matching cleanser in order for it to do anything at all. This leads me to believe that the product simply isn't worth it. If a brand won't disclose a percentage of an ingredient that literally peels your skin off then stay away. Stay far, far away. Believe me. Your skin will thank you. No more of this brand for me. It's not worth the risk.
I've been incorporating Mario Badescu's Glycolic Acid Cleanser for all skin types for well over a decade or so now because the formula works. Although it has fragrance and dyes, if used correctly I recommend this product to someone who has excess sebum production. I do not recommend using this product every day or along with a strong retinoid/tretinoin. I use it once a week unless I have irritated skin or a break out situation that is inflamed. The directions do warn people about this on the bottle, which I do appreciate. I do not mind fragrance and dyes in a cleanser so long as they're going to be rinsed off directly after. If your skin is sensitive to fragrance, I would not recommend this particular cleanser. It does cost near $20, but it lasts about a year so I feel the product is well worth the price. My skin loves having a chemical exfoliant once in a while or once a week since my skin is dry currently and acne-prone. I don't get a tight feeling after using this so long as I follow up with a the Glycolic Acid Toner. Remember SPF when using these products, always do a patch test, don't neglect your neck, and rub your skin in a circular motion when cleansing. Just not for everyday use!! Follow directions on bottle for THIS product and then you will get the full benefit! I use different skincare products, but have stayed loyal to Mario Badescu's Glycolic Acid Cleanser and Toner for well over a decade!abra.l

On the package it says 1-2x weekly max: First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub Exfoliant for Keratosis Pilaris with 10% AHA-I use a Salicylic Acid Scrub Soap the other five days a week: 3x a week I just rub it on my arms, leave it on for 10-15 seconds and wash off. And I’ve been searching for a good lotion for SO LONG. I’m Filipino and French which equates to thick hair and dry skin. This lotion not only makes my skin feel good it makes it LOOK good. And I didn’t even notice the smell that’s giving this such a low rating. I’ve used far more expensive face oils that have smelled worse than this. I've had KP since I was a little kid. In fact, I remember getting made fun of for it when I was younger, which has given me a life-long complex about showing my arms at all, even in the summer. I had kind of given up hope of every being confident in tshirts & tank tops, until I met this line of products! This lotion, combined with the scrub, has greatly reduced the appearance of KP on my arms, which is a miracle to me. I have mild KP on my upper arms. I stopped using a scrub for it because I found them to be too harsh. I am almost finished with an entire tube of this. Although I think it is pretty effective, I will not be repurchasing it. I find that if I use it after every shower, and don't skip it, I will have no KP at all. If I skip it, I will get a couple of bumps. I have gotten used to it, but I just don't like the smell. So I purchased this after a trial size was given to me and the scent alone was what sold me originally. Then I ended up with a pretty crispy sunburn while in Mexico and used this to moisturize and that's when I found out how soothing it was. My sunburn was so soothed I could wear a bra after about 20 minutes. If you're a female who's been sunburned you know what I'm talking about in regards to bras after sunburns. I used it again before bed and was able to sleep comfortably then the next morning my sunburn had already turned into a tan on 80% of the areas that were brick red the day before. Everyone on our trip couldn't believe how different my skin was overnight. A few days later someone else got sunburned and came to tell me how the La Mer they had saved them too. I've always loved Clinique moisturisers, and so when this was recommended to me by a Clinique consultant for the first time, I was really excited to try something new. It felt absolutely amazing when I tried a small amount on my hand in store, but when I got home and started using it properly, I found my skin was left really sticky. I had a few areas of breakouts within the first week, but I put that down to being a new product and hoped it would calm down a bit in due course, but unfortunately it didn't. I've tried it a number of times since then in the hope that my skin was just being fussy (it can be very sensitive sometimes), but I'm still left with a sticky, spotty face afterwards, and in terms of feeling moisturised, it's not really doing much, especially in the more drier areas. As I normally have such confidence in Clinique products, I threw away my reciept so wasn't able to return it to the store for a refund 🙁 I'd really recommend asking for a sample or a smaller bottle if you're new to using this product as judging by the reviews it can be a little hit and miss.Kate
I made an account just to review this product LOL. So I’ve been using this for the past 3 months and have been loving it! At first, I was combining it with a moisturizer right after and it made my eyes burn (products don’t get in, just fumes and/or scents). I got rid of the moisturizer and boom, burning all gone. However, although I love the product, the “hydration” isn’t very strong. But for me, I only need some hydration after a cleanse. The rest of the hydration, I leave it up to my body. It was my first time trying a custom personalized blend of moisturizer plus an active cartridge. I paired the Tone Up version of the moisturizer with a fatigue fighting cartridge (orange) The moisturizer delivers an instant rosy glow (as the description suggests) to my face. I've dry skin so the creaminess of the moisturizer works well for me. I'm not sure what effect the cartridge is actually having independently on my face but the overall product combination definitely keeps my face from drying and gives a very nice glow to it all day round. At times I don't even need to layer it with base makeup. Even a pump of it does the job. Got this on sale, and for the results it delivers, I would buy it for full price too.

I think I’ve brought the transforming cream 3 or 4 times. It’s really effective at doing what it says it will, without impairing your skin barrier and being too harsh. It has the right percentage of lactic acid without it being abrasive. This formulation is eloquently made. It’s my first time using the scrub and body wash. The body wash is alright but the scrub is fantastic. You apply it on a dry body several minutes before washing. The result is a baby smooth skin!Imaan
This body lotion is quite light and sinks in fast to skin. The scent reminds me of an exfoliating foot cream it’s not pleasant but it didn’t bother me. This lotion really exfoliates skin it does have an irritation and sunburn alert on the packaging. I only used it twice and waited over a week to expose my skin to the sun as advised but it had sensitised my skin and my skin went red. I would not advise using this on skin that will be exposed to sun or on the face or children over 3 as stated on the packaging it’s too active a product. I have used other exfoliating body lotions including with retinol but not had an issue before. It may just be my skin and the lotion is effective even with only 2 uses it helped to smooth my skin. I could just be over sensitive to one of the ingredients but I won’t use it again. If your skin can be sensitive it might be best to patch test a small area first.emk
I have ingrown hair after waxing/shaving (perks of being an Asian!). Nothing would help. I have rough, bumpy skin. This doesn't help overnight but it definitely smoothens. I got this day time lotion as recommended by Clinique while I used their even better radical dark spot corrector, to ensure effectiveness and protect my skin from further darkening. I've been using it consistently for about a month now, hoping things would get better the longer I used it. I love the dark spot corrector, I really don't like this SPF lotion. I find it makes my skin very greasy within an hour of wearing it during the day. If I wear any makeup on top of this lotion, the greasy t zone is reeeaaal you guys. This forehead could blind a man if caught at the right angle in the sun. The lotion was fairly expensive so I'm pretty disappointed. I got the 465, burgundy hair color, and was eager to try it. I always do at home dye jobs, and this was my first time using this brand. I followed all the instructions to make it easy on myself, and I noticed a few things that I did not like. I expected this to be amazing, but it wasn't. First off the smell is worse than hair bleach, as soon I put the foam in my hands my eyes were burning, I had to keep leaving the bathroom for air, as the smell was just so chemically strong! Second, the foam easily falls out your hands and/or off your hair as you try to work it through, it gets everywhere. If the foam sits too long it begins to change into the color of the dye. I had to clean my floor, counter, sink, and mirror, it really is just as if not more messy as any other dye I've used. Don't consider myself a messy person, and this was more difficult than I assumed. The plus side is you can watch the color turn so you can get the color just right, but the color doesn't last as long as it should so that was disappointing as well.jacqueline.b
My holy grail body lotion. I like the smell and the texture. The packaging is nice. The pump never clogs or breaks. I really love this lotion. I use the original. It had a faint baby powder smell but never crosses with me perfume. I do get compliments on the scent and how soft my arms are. I’ve tried others after the shower. I absolutely loved this before it got changed. I recommended it to everyone I knew who has dry skin. This used to be so luxuriously thick and rich that I had to use it while my skin was still wet, I loved it and it made me feel so beautiful and soft all day. I was so disappointed when I bought a new bottle recently and found that its now the consistency of any other lotion. I actually wanted to cry, because while I was exfoliating and shaving in the shower I was looking forward to coming out and using the nice thick formula that I have always loved especially after shaving. I know that people complained about it being too thick to pump once it gets to the bottom, but these people obviously don't love it enough to find a way to get the rest out lol. I desperately need this to go back to the way it was. It feels like a cheap hotel lotion now.Caeley
I absolutely love this product for my dry skin and hands. It's thick, rich and amazingly moisturizing. The exfoliating factor is a big bonus for me. Beautiful packaging too! My only request is that you put this in a jar since it has the consistency of a luxurious body butter. I always dispense as much as I can into such a container because it's SO much easier to access and I don't have to fight the pump with slick hands. Plus, I hate the idea of wasting ANY of this product when I can't pump the rest out of the bottle. I now store the bottle upside down when near empty, and still can't get all of it out! Prior to purchasing this particular Gold Bond lotion, I used to use the healing aloe one. Both are great and both have helped my skin feel hydrated before going to bed, but I have found my new favorite. I do not like using lotion with too much fragrance before going to sleep, which is one of the many reasons I choose Gold Bond. This one in particular has a light smell to it, but it smells so good. I tried using other brands, but either they had too much fragrance that irritated my skin or they were not hydrating enough. Due to my workplace, my hands have gotten really dry and irritated to the point where I have gotten these dry patches/bumps on one of my fingers and on one of my knuckles. With other lotion options, these patches would burn and itch. When they are not hydrated, they burn and itch. I love the scent of this product it’s just like the hair products in this line. The size of the bottle is nice and was packaged securely. I recommend using it after a shower otherwise it’ll just sit on top of your skin and be kinda sticky. Overall it’s a lovely smelling (though kinda strong) super hydrating lotion. Love this lotion. A little goes a long way. Nourishes the skin and has a fantastic scent that is not overbearing. The downside is the bottle it comes in. Difficult to dispense. This is my 3 time trying to be able to use this lotion. I like the lotion a lot when I can get it out of the bottle. The lotion is either too thick for this packaging, or the packaging is all wrong. You end up not being able to access more than half of it at the bottom. The company should know this by now. I've tried 3 pumps as well. This should be sold as creme and put in a jar/lid type container. In it's current packaging, you have to rebuy it when it gets 1/4 to 1/2 gone. If this is strategy to make more money for the company, it's not cool. I will start returning product back to Target and not keep rebuying until this company cares about it's product and customers.Poppy

With such an elegant fragrance, this lotion will make your skin feel soft from the first application. I can wear this body lotion day and night, it's just perfect. The only problem, and it's personal, I have super dry leg skin and it's not enough for me. But I've seen it work on other more 'normal' skins and it works perfectly. Still, I would keep buying this if it weren't for my skin needs and recommend it to anyone since it's not only about hydration, it's also about the prevention of skin aging signs.araceli.c
