I typically love Naturium products, but was disappointed with this purchase. I bought both the salicylic acid wash and hydrating oil wash. Both were difficult to use due to stuck pumps and I had to keep opening to pull out dip stick and reinsert. Then, upon using, the pump for salicylic acid wash cracked! Very disappointed. I was a bit skeptical before buying this product because its ultimately fragrance free and i do enjoy an aromatic shower gel. However, i get acne spots in my back that leave dark spots and i absolutely hate it. Now being pregnant, my back got full of red acne and i had to do something. I’ve showered with it twice and the dots are no longer red and they seem to be fading. A few of my regular acne spots are also almost gone. I absolutely love this! It is also dermatologist recommended because of which I decided to give this a try. My skin is usually dry and even more so, after a shower. The body wash is of thick consistency which lathers on quite luxuriously. My skin felt nourished during the showers. After the showers, I expected to see the same white dry skin I had been used to, BUT didn't. I would say 96% of the dryness has been addressed. The itchiness has completely disappeared. I am quite satisfied with the result and consider this to be a good product. It is definitely worth a try. I used this body wash, and wow it felt so good. It was easy to dispense, and the texture is like a mix between a gel and a cream. When rubbed in, it becomes a lather that is easy to rinse. My skin is also pretty sensitive (I'm allergic to random things, often shampoos and soaps) and there was no irritation afterwards. Although there is no fragrance, it does smell a little bit like essential oils… But I did not react! My skin feels less dry, and I know it is definitely thoroughly cleansed. It seemed to target a younger audience. It claims to be a soothing gel body wash for sensitive skin, and that it will leave the skin feeling nourished all day long. It comes with a pump and is made with vitamin B5 and aloe, and my skin definitely needs as much moisturizing ingredients as it can get. I also like that it does not have sulphates or parabens. When using it, I was surprised the body wash had no colour to it. After trying it out, my skin felt clean and and not stripped or dry. I'm not sure that it kept my skin moisturized all day long but it is definitely non-stripping and it did not irritate my skin. He's ok with the smell but for me it little bit smell like hospital soaps (which maybe great). It does leave you with that clean feeling on your skin. It does make my normal skin slightly dry. I used to use a hand soap that was abrasive to my skin, it would dry it out. I had preconceived ideas about soap bars before using this one but this one is extremely gentle, and my hands feel soft and moisturized after using it. I can see a clear improvement when it comes to the dermatitis on my hands, it feels great. The 3-pack is a better deal and that way, it lasts you a while too. Worth it!

First things first, I'm very skeptical when it comes to trying out new products pertaining to my skin. I usually stick to a product that works and use that for years so it's gonna take a whole lot to convince me to use Dove's Deep Moisture body wash. But to my surprise I am IMPRESSED! At first look, the bottle/packaging is very similar to many body washes available out there. So honestly it wasn't that appealing to me. As I squeezed out a very generous amount to lather, I realized that I made a huge mistake. It doesn't take much to use, a little really goes a long way which is great because that means that the product will last you much longer. Once I got out of the shower and my skin air dried, I can already feel the smoothness of my skin. As I quote from the back of the bottle, "Dove makes your skin softer and smoother with just one shower" and it totally did, and that truly surprised me. It was so smooth that I didn't need to put lotion on my body, which I do all the time right after showering. As for the smooth feeling I felt, I was truly impressed. This is my favorite body wash. It is thick and creamy, makes a great lather and is very moisturizing, even in the coldest months. I actually discovered it while undergoing cancer treatments. I had heard that chemotherapy and radiation can wreak havoc on the skin and as a precaution I turned to products that were free of perfume and dyes. The sensitive skin formula worked great for me throughout my treatment and I became a lifelong customer. Despite how much I love it, I do still purchase other brands at other stores, simply because of the high cost. I've used Dove Sensitive Skin body wash for a number of years, and have never had any complaints about it til using the "New" formula, purchased a month or two ago. I bought a 3 pack and noticed when using the first bottle a tiny grainy texture not present in the soap before. There aren't anywhere near enough grainy bits to suggest it's an exfoliating feature, just enough to feel like there's something wrong with the new formula. The grains seem to become more prevalent as the body wash was used over a few weeks. I tried a second bottle to see if the first one was a fluke, but unfortunately the grainy texture was in the second bottle too. I was going to buy a single bottle to see if this textural change was specific to the three-pack, but after reading these reviews I realize any bottle marked New probably will have the same problem. I have been using this bar soap exclusively for as long as I can remember. So much so, that I buy a year's worth at a time. I wish they had noted that they changed the formulation. The new formula is not nearly as rich or smooth and has much cheaper feel. I am now looking for a new brand of bar soap. It's such a shame that they changed a classic formula for what I assume is a bid to make more money by replacing it with a cheaper quality soap that costs more money. This is my most essential bath and body item I own. I have been using LOccitanes shea butter soaps for many years now and will not use anything else. I use it in place of shaving creamfoam and find it leaves my skin so much softer. It gives a gorgeous thick lather that is ideal for shaving. I remember several years ago, I tried a sample of hand lotion in a L'Occitane boutique. I fell in love immediately with the scent and from that moment, I was sold. The soap, lotion and hand cream have been a mainstay in my home since then. It smelled fresh, wholesome , natural and completely unique. This scent is in my opinion, the trademark of the company, something that everyone associated the company with. The original soap was such a nice way to enjoy that scent every day, along with its amazing lather and gentle cleansing. Okay I definitely judge a product by its cover, I was so wrong with this product. I usually buy ogx or store brand product l, but by far the best body wash. The Aveeno body wash oat + grape seed oil is fantastic. I have dry patches around my body and it’s hard finding the right body wash, I took four shower already with this product and I can see a difference. My skin is more glowing, more alive and less dry patches around my body. this is extremely drying– gives me dry patches within a few days of use… i do have quite dry skin (except over my forehead), and this definitely isn't a facial cleanser i would recommend to anyone, tbh. SLS, in my experience, is very stripping for my skin type, and i cannot imagine how this is gentle enough as an everyday cleanser. i don't even want to use it on my body, though i have 2 giant bottles left in my cupboard. it also has a seriously soapy smell, foams up a lot, and leaves your skin seriously *squeaky* clean… ding ding ding, those are the biggest flashing lights you can get, warning you of how STRIPPING it is. granted, as you get older, your skin dries out and becomes more sensitive, but i couldn't even tolerate this during my pubertal years, when my skin was at its most resilient and least dehydrated. my dermatologist recommended this to me when i had acne problems during my adolescence, but no… i would NEVER put this on my face ever again. there are cheaper and gentler cleansers than this at a drugstore. for reference, i have acne-prone, sensitive, combination (mostly dry, except over forehead) skin, and fresh's soy cleanser suits my skin type best.shani.t

I have seriously sensitive and delicate skin and have tried various different washes and brands; none of them had satisfied all my facial needs like this one. I've had a problem with products actually making my face break and dry out even more. After use my face feels refresh, revived, and invigorated. Definitely gives me that morning burst, awakening feeling. To speak of my pores, ever since I started using this soap, I haven't had a single issues with my pores around my nose. Most purest form of body wash out there. I was amazed at how light the soap was yet still practical enough to get the job done. Ingredients surpass every brand I have ever purchased. I tend to lean towards the all natural products and this definitely hit the nail on the head. However they came up with this concoction, they knew what they were doing. The soap can't feel any softer and more delicate than it already does. The smell is more on the citrus side rather than sea salt (which I have no idea what sea salt smells like, does it even smell????) I digress. Overall, the product was perfect for what I was looking for and it did what it was suppose to do. It made me feel clean without any weird/harsh residue. BEST body wash. It cleans and removes any stink, yet doesn’t dry out my skin at all, which is a rare combo for a natural body wash! I have tried a million kinds of body wash and this is the ONLY one I will use! (Their citrus and sea salt dries out my skin but this vanilla one is perfect.) I bought one bottle, then get this refill bag about every 4-5 months. I shower daily so it lasts a long time. Great deal and great quality! Please never change this product! Also, scent is mild and pleasant in the shower, but it does not linger at all on your skin. That’s fine for me, as I’m sensitive to scents in products anyway. Purchased for our sensitive skin family, and our daughter who is allergic to fragrance. The product is great; it produces a lovely foam when washing and has only the light scent of grapefruit essential oil. This wash has not caused us any sensitivity at all. We love the glass bottle with pump top that it comes in as well. Update: We've been using this product for over a year now. Our whole family loves it! Still no allergy sensitivities at all. As I got older, I was starting to have skin problems. I developed dermatitis. My doctor recommended that I switch my body bar soap to this. I got a free sample to try. I will say the initial smell puts me off, very medicine smell, but then as the bar slowly disappears the smell goes away. The initial out of the bag is intense. Today this review is after 8 years of use. If you struggle with skin issues, I recommend this to people. It is a gentle cleaning bar that deep cleans but does not dry out the skin. NOTE: I live in Texas, HEB has the best prices on this product in store. Costco once a year has a sale of these online. Keep an eye out for the Costco price.christina .p
I used to use a hand soap that was abrasive to my skin, it would dry it out. I had preconceived ideas about soap bars before using this one but this one is extremely gentle, and my hands feel soft and moisturized after using it. I can see a clear improvement when it comes to the dermatitis on my hands, it feels great. The 3-pack is a better deal and that way, it lasts you a while too. Worth it!

Tried this as I came across the brand on eczema forums and approved by the national eczema association. The texture is quite smooth and slightly silvery in colour, and unscented (doesn’t contain fragrance). Good quality product that doesn’t irritate sensitive skin and washes well. But as I’m quite picky with products, though this is unscented, it still had a light, slightly metallic smell (probably owing to the mica composition) that didn’t sit well with me.
