Let's start out by saying if I could give less than 1 star I would. I purchased shea moisture baby shampoo the night before last. I usually only use hello bello baby wash for my baby and have never had a problem. The description on the shea moisture baby label is made to seem its for sensitive skin. After bath last night my baby woke up in a rash head to toe after using this product. After some research I learned I'm not the only mother who has bought this only to learn its harsh chemicalsbare causing severe rashes. Please stop selling this. My family uses this soap as body soap, also shampoo, and use on our dogs fur. YES. WE. DO. We mix with various Shea Moisture shampoo products to create the perfect product for each family members hair. For example my daughter uses the Shea Moisture shampoo for thick curly hair but the shampoo itself leaves her hair a bit too greasy so she parts it with this Black Soap. This has been my daily body/face/hair wash for about 8 years now. Every now and then I try a different body wash but keeping coming back to this one. It's the perfect balance of cleaning power and moisturizing power. I find most body washes either too weak to clean properly or too strong which dries out my skin. This Jack Black body wash has a mild scent. It makes you feel nice and clean. If you like to use cologne quite frequently. The scent of the body wash won't overpower the scent of the cologne. I bought the gift packs (mint and lavender body wash) during Christmas 2018 for myself and others and I am now in love with the minty tea tree body wash. I've read great things about tea tree oils antibacterial, antifungal, heaking properties and this body wash delivers by keeping my skin clean and, surprisingly clear. It got rid of a couple blemishes I had practically over night and my skin felt softer and smoother. Who doesn't want that? No body wash has ever done that for my skin. The quality for the price is outstanding. The only con is that my local Wal-Mart has been out of stock for a while now. I very much want this product in my local store. I tried to order it through the Wal-Mart app but they couldn't fill the order. I am patiently waiting for my store to replenish its supply. I can try another location miles away but that's inconvenient. I recommend this tea tree body wash if you're having any skin issues like excessive dryness, break outs, dry skin bumps, etc. I also use a nylon body scrubby that helps exfoliate so the tea tree oil penetrates better. so I love this stuff. I struggle with body odor and this stuff gets rid of it! Before I had to wash 3 times for 2 minutes with 3 different body washes on each arm pit and id still stink, id wash my armpits until they were raw. I typically love Naturium products, but was disappointed with this purchase. I bought both the salicylic acid wash and hydrating oil wash. Both were difficult to use due to stuck pumps and I had to keep opening to pull out dip stick and reinsert. Then, upon using, the pump for salicylic acid wash cracked! Very disappointed. Was hoping to see how this product worked for my skin but now that is nearly impossible- nobody wants to have to completely open the package and dump it out into their hands.Naomi
I was a bit skeptical before buying this product because its ultimately fragrance free and i do enjoy an aromatic shower gel. However, i get acne spots in my back that leave dark spots and i absolutely hate it. Now being pregnant, my back got full of red acne and i had to do something. I’ve showered with it twice and the dots are no longer red and they seem to be fading. A few of my regular acne spots are also almost gone. I absolutely love this! My only disclaimers are theses if you have really dry skin as I do, although this product isn’t drying, It doesn’t have enough moisture. This product does wonders I use to suffer from very bad back acne and this product cleared it. I use this product one to two times a week so it doesn’t dry out my skin. I use it in the shower and when I get out I allow my body to air dry. After air drying for a bit I apply a moisturizer on my back and I let myself air dry too. I do not put in a shirt while I let my body air dry. Until my skin soaks up the moisturizer then I will put a shirt back on. Doing this trick has helped me so much with my back acne. I would like to start off by saying that the different acne clearing body wash definitely works. My shoulders neck and back often break out with blackheads, and for about a week every month big, painful, cystic acne. Since I’ve started using this body wash, there is a marked improvement in my skins appearance and texture. However! I burned for the first time in 15 years, which may or may not have been exacerbated by this body wash; I did forget to put on sunscreen that day, so I’m not blaming or speculating on the cause of my sunburn. What I am going to speculate on is the cause for the state of my skin after the sunburn. I was peeling for a solid 2 1/2 weeks after the sunburn, and I am still finding small patches that are just coming off. The skin underneath the burn is very dry and leathery. I have continued using the body wash on my shoulders neck and back, but I am very careful about my sun exposure now. All in all, this is an effective acne treatment/body wash. There is no scent, which is disappointing but not a dealbreaker for me. It also doesn’t lather, which is confusing but also not indicative of the quality of the product. While my back-ne has improved over the last month, I was also subscribed a new med from my derm, so the results could be one or the other or a combo or the fact that I am on summer vacation and my stress levels are lower. I really cant say. What I CAN tell you is that this wash is mild; I have not had any adverse reactions, no irritation or redness. There is no strong scent, which is a pro in my book for skin care. I’m impressed with this product!! I have a bit or acne on my arms, so I applied it there and I have to say it really made the skin smoother and softer, it doesn’t feel bumpy anymore. I’m sure they’ll completely go away after using it for a week. I also used it on my elbows, and I thought that was a bad idea since my elbows are super dry but it really surprised me how soft they felt after using this product! I also have to say that when using this body wash it’s very important to use a loofah, it will lather nicely and evenly! And you won’t need to use a lot. My partner and I Tried out this body wash, and we both agree it’s nothing short from great. I’ve tried many body washes in the past , and most of them have been fragrant without the actual after feeling of being clean. Sometimes body washes leave you with the feeling of still having it on even after rinsing, like a residue. Very few have left me feeling soft and actually feeling rinsed/ clean. I usually lather up with soap and then end my shower with a body wash, and this Native one worked so nicely. After my first time showering with it , my partner told me how soft my skin was and how it was a fresh scent and not overpowering or “sweet”. I then convinced him to try it as well , and he really liked it. The part he enjoys the most is that it’s a soft scent but it can be unisex. That way we are both able to use it and don’t have to purchase two different body washes. The ingredients are also minimal and transparent , which is lovely of the brand to do. Not many people know what each ingredient may be, and the breakdown helps. I bought this product on a whim and have been using it for a little over a week. I didn’t have any expectations going in but I have never been so soft and smooth. I feel like my legs are smoother after shaving and overall my skin is just silkier. The pump is bothersome as some others mentioned but it doesn’t bother me so much since the product has been so wonderful. I don’t worry about the lather because I don’t solely use this product as apart of my routine. I coat my skin in this and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse and follow up with a moisturizing then oil body wash. It sounds like a lot but it only takes around 10 minutes and I’m so smooth and hydrated that it’s worth it. Will purchase again.Tompki922
You hardly get any product from each pump and it doesn't lather, so you really need a *lot* of pumps for each wash. I used 50 pumps and that still wasn't enough for one wash. And I am an average sized person. Because it doesn't lather, I feel like it doesn't clean that effectively either (I used a loufah). It also smells like some combination of Dove body wash and some really bad smell. And it seems like that Dove body wash smell is an attempt to mask the bad smell. Though there is no fragrance or masking fragrance listed in the ingredients, so that's strange. And that Dove body wash smell sticks with you even after you leave the shower for a while. I would not buy this again, and I'm considering just throwing it in the trash. I also bought the smoothing Cetaphil body wash in the same order, so hopefully that isn't as bad as this.Alaska
I have been using this for almost a week and I’ve seen a noticeable results for my acne in the arms. It’s just a span of days and my acne are getting disappeared. What I like about it is non-fragrance and very moisturized and gentle for my sensitive skin since I have prone eczema skin. The formula is great and the package can last you a months. Disclaimer is don’t use it everyday because it can cause irritation and just apply it every other day and apply a thick moisturizer to prevent any irritation. This is a good product. At first the smell didn't really appeal to me but after a few days of use I came to really like it. Citrus and lavender are a mix that is kind of hard to imagine together but it leaves your skin feeling fresh, clean and lightly scented. I have really sensitive skin so I only use organic body wash. This felt nice and silky on my skin. Has a real light citrus scent. I can't really smell the lavender. Only negative thing I can say is that when this is packaged and shipped the pump needs to be sent not already on. It leaked all over the inside of the package. Needs to have a lid with a seal. I would buy again.

Okay, I have a lot of different feelings about this facial wash, so this review is going to be a teeny bit longwinded. I ordered this because a friend of mine recommended it to me to help with the acne I recently started getting after changing the type of birth control I’d been using. I got it in the mail, very quickly I might add, and started using it straightaway. The smell was not too strong, not too intense, just very mild. Okay, I personally prefer something a little bit stronger in scent but that’s just my personal choice. In terms of the wash itself, I was really disappointed that I didn’t get a really strong tingling feeling from the tea tree oil, but my face was left cleaner and after a few days I started seeing an improvement in my acne. Now, the pro tip I found, was using it in conjunction with another couple of products that also contain tea tree oil. The result, is pure, amazing face. I cannot believe it! I've struggled with acne for years going into my 20s. Never had a set routine for my skin. So I decided why not aim for the Body Shop tea tree line. My skin was already at its worst so what's the worst that could happen? I had terrible acne, scars upon scars, blemishes upon blemishes. Dark spots from popped pimples to new ones forming. It was red & extremely inflamed. It literally hurt to touch my face. I also have very oily and dehydrated skin from not moisturizing enough so my skin was over-compensating, thus the continuous breakouts. I didn't think I could ever escape it. There are skincare products where you don't stress about being without them for a few days. This is not one of those products. I have used this product for 5 years. It is the only facial wash that thoroughly cleans my face without stripping it and leaving it dry. This is true regardless of the season. I live in Michigan and today it is 17°f. I don't need a rich creamy cleanser to counteract the low humidity and rough conditions. In the summertime, when it is 90°f and my face gets oily, this cleanser still gets the job done. I'm going to Miami soon and I have no worries about my sensitive skin and what the change of climate will do to my skin. While in Miami, I will use more sunscreen than usual. This cleanser will completely remove the sunscreen with no additional products or rubbing/washing needed. My skin is sensitive and other cleansers have left my skin tight or with a little whiteheads on my chin. This product does wonders I use to suffer from very bad back acne and this product cleared it. I use this product one to two times a week so it doesn’t dry out my skin. I use it in the shower and when I get out I allow my body to air dry. After air drying for a bit I apply a moisturizer on my back and I let myself air dry too. I do not put in a shirt while I let my body air dry. Until my skin soaks up the moisturizer then I will put a shirt back on. Doing this trick has helped me so much with my back acne.
