I was sent a bottle of this shower gel for review purposes. The consistency and feel of the gel is pleasant; it lathers well, feels quite nourishing and does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I followed with the Necessaire Body Serum and feel they are a good combination. The packaging's appearance is non-offensive, although not particularly appealing to me, but I really like the twist top. The fragrance is subtle, which is fine as eucalyptus can be quite overpowering, but I'm not sure I would have recognised it as eucalyptus and didn't particularly like it. I love this body wash. The scent is so subtle but it lingers. The smell has a relaxing quality which I love. It lathers up very well. I use a loofah and a few drops works the whole body. This has been my daily body/face/hair wash for about 8 years now. Every now and then I try a different body wash but keeping coming back to this one. It's the perfect balance of cleaning power and moisturizing power. I find most body washes either too weak to clean properly or too strong which dries out my skin. This Jack Black body wash has a mild scent. It makes you feel nice and clean. If you like to use cologne quite frequently. The scent of the body wash won't overpower the scent of the cologne. The only critique is that it would have been nice to have a lil something for the smell to be neutral-nice. I added a bit of my Aveeno wash to camouflage the odd smell. But besides that, I cannot believe a glycolic product can be so comforting. I use this on my skin that has aggressive KP and I noticed improvement on day one. My skin was softer.Regina
This is really interesting. First, I love the scent. It doesn't have fragrance added so you just smell the ingredients, and it smells like something medicinal or that a hospital might use, but it's a comforting smell to me. It's not that strong. The body wash has a lot of glycolic acid and I can really feel it on my skin. I think my skin will get more used to it with time. It almost felt too harsh the first time I used it. I don't think it works that well as a soap if you're really trying to get your armpits clean for example. I am going to continue using my other natural bodywash (everyone 3 in 1) that I love, and then use this either before or after mostly for the exfoliation effects. I'm trying to use it to lessen some scars and marks on my skin. In general both the body washes I tried had really strong effects (moisturizing for the glow getter one, and exoliation for this one) but didn't seem that strong as soaps. they feel more like body treatments than body washes.M2
This has been a great addition to my KP routine. I have severe KP on my thighs, legs, and backs of arms, with mild KP literally everywhere else. I got rid of almost 80% of my KP with a kinda pricey scrub, which I'm willing to pay for, but the problem was that I was having to use the scrub up to 5x a week on the worst spots in order to maintain the results, which was getting too expensive. Now I'm down to using the scrub 2x a week while using this body wash in between, and it actually works fine on my mild KP. But what I love most is that I've also been able to stop using the nasty smelling exfoliating lotion I was trying out to maintain results and now just use Cerave all over. I love the idea, and yes, it does moisturize well. At least I think it would if I could just get it OUT of the badly designed container. It's nigh unto impossible to get out, even with two hands. Make it thinner, and make the bottle round, adding a pump for good measure. Then maybe I'll consider trying it again. I absolutely love and use quite a few Cerave products daily. I just recently started using the Hydrating body wash. I dont have an issue with the soap itself, as its hydrating, non-scented, but doesnt leave a fowl smell some unscented products leave. However, the bottle is super hard to squeeze the product out of. I even have the bottle turned on its lid but still have to use both hands and some umph to squeeze the bottle enough to get a dallop.Jess
I just opened my second bottle this morning and found the color and odor were very different than my first bottle. The first bottle had a tan colored body wash with a strong “playdough” smell… when I first opened it I wondered if t had been sitting on the shelf too long but continued to use it. Honestly, you gotta wonder what these people with the 5 star reviews actually know about these products. This stuff isn't bad, its simply not good. There are so many much better choices. You want big lather, nice scent, and a nice smooth clean feeling, like moisturized when done. This has none of the above, boring smell – almost nothing really, light to no lather and when you get done you feel like you just washed up in a public rest room. I typically use Cerave bar soap b/c I have super sensitive and dry skin, but I work out a lot and so it doesn't combat any dirty pores and give a deep clean. So I tried out Power Wash due to the reviews saying it is safe for sensitive & dry skin. Definitely gives a deep clean and cleans out pores, but I wish it didn't have Fragrance added – that dries skin out and also messes with ph balances! I only use it on my shoulders, chest, back and sometimes arms b/c it has fragrance. Can you please make one for people with super sensitive skin that does not have fragrance?Christina L.

This product has quickly replaced my other body washes. I love that the body wash lathers very quickly on my loofah, even when I don't use more than a quarter sized dollop. The scent is light and pleasant. I have been using for about a month now and have never had a reaction on my sensitive skin. It’s even great for shaving— my legs always feel smooth and soft afterwards. The one weird thing I noticed is that this is some settling of the product (I guess the salt?). I've tried to shake it up or turn the bottle upside down overnight, but a weird pink sediment remains. It’s not really a big deal and doesn't cause any harm, but it is visually unappealing to see something in the bottle.katie.b
This is a weird one. There’s what I assume to be salt, that sinks to the bottom, and looks like sediment in the bottle. The body wash itself is so thick you can’t get it to mix back in by shaking it (trust me, both myself and my boyfriend tried when the bottle was full, half full; it only mixed when it was nearly empty). It comes out like normal, slightly-too-thick shower gel but then it gets weird. It doesn’t lather immediately when you get it wet and start trying to lather it. It almost gets to be like gel shaving cream, when it hasn’t turned from gel to foam totally. You have to work it a little extra to get to actually foam instead of sitting on your skin like… well, weird whiteish jelly. Once it does foam, it does wash away easily. I didn’t have any issues with it leaving residue or the like; I didn’t notice my skin feeling any more or less hydrated compared to any other body wash I’ve used. It smells alright, I might not be keen on the salt note in it personally. I like clary sage, I’m okay about neroli but in combination, it’s a little bit strange. My husband absolutely loves this body wash and I’ve purchased it multiple times now. We don’t buy anything else unless we refill the bottles at our local bulk grocery. We are really happy with the performance of the product and the scent, but the most attractive part is the bottle. This is my goto body wash that I’ve found. It’s gentle on the environment and your skin. The fragrances are really nice, but not overpowering. I feel like I’m having an aromatherapy session when I use them. My favorites are the Douglas fir & Sage, and Rosemary Mint products. I’ve found them good for use as a body wash and shampoo. I have really short hair, so ymmv. I also like that the containers are aluminum and easily recyclable. This is my second bulk order from Alpine and I’ll continue to come back. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good all around body wash that smells great and leaves your skin feeling clean and hydrating. After you get over the fantastic packaging (which you never will, not really; the geometric animal etchings *shine* from the shower shelf) and get to the product, the first thing that strikes you is the texture. It is luxuriously smooth: its semi-thick consistency on wet skin distributes satisfyingly evenly. And it’s concentrated enough that maybe 3 dime-size applications cover the entire body. The smell is unusual: its sillage maybe medium potency (for a soap; smell it maybe a foot away) and has more of a muted cedar/autumn-y top note that combines with I don’t know how to describe an olive-oil-soap smell; lastly there’s a semi-sandalwood scent underneath (coconut aroma not present to my nose). I’ve grown fond of the admittedly unusual scent. It’s a mild enough scent that it doesn’t linger much after rinsing. I actually would have liked a more distinct longer-lasting scent, but I so very much appreciate the quality of the ingredients that this elevated skincare supersedes all else. I love this soap. It works well, and it smells so refreshing. My skin can react to soaps easily but this soap doesn't do that. I have sensitive skin and this product is nothing but amazing for me. Started using Ivory soap at 10 years old. Will soon be 62 and it's still the ONLY thing I use. Was excited when they came out with the bar soap in Aloe scent. But a body wash – don't even try to hold me back! I first tried the regular scent and it was great but when I tried this, couldn't believe how amazing it was. I have used this for years and I am in love with the scent of it! They did change the formula a few years ago and I wasn’t as happy with it, but I’ve gotten used to it! I have read a lot about the benefits of Manuka honey. My son in law is a neuro-surgeon and routinely speaks of the benefit of Manuka honey and how he uses it on his patients. When I saw this product line, I knew it was something I had to try. I have recently developed a skin rash on my back. This wash has helped to calm it to the point it is no longer an issue. In addition, I also purchased the cream, which is amazing. I use it on my face, as well as my body. My face has not looked better. I have reordered the facial/body wash and cream along with the shampoo and conditioner. I want to make sure I never run out. I also have to note that since my husband has to wear a mask for work, his skin has become irritated and has had many breakouts. The facial wash and cream also helped to relieve that as well. This is, hands down, my favorite hand soap. Love how it actually looks like honey and has a slight honey scent while lathering up. It may look and smell like honey, but it is not sticky at all. It washes clean away without any perfume smell lingering and leaves your hands feeling soft and great. It's non-drying even in the winter months.
I've been using this body wash exclusively for many years with no desire to change it up. I love the delicious coconut fragrance that reminds me of a tropical island. The smooth and milky texture leaves my skin feeling buttery soft and clean. The pump bottle is huge and lasts a while between both myself and husband using it. Highly recommend!

I was super lucky to be able to receive this wonderful Nourishing Apricot and Honey Body Wash. I am really in love with this product. It smells so delicious and definitely now becoming one of my new favourites of body wash. I really like that the scent isn’t overpowering, really is a nice light refreshing one. I get pretty dry skin, especially in our harsh winter weather we get in Canada. I find that it helps refresh my dry skin and makes it feel soft and silky after use. I also love that the scent is 100 percent plant based and this product has never been tested on animals. I think that’s one of the most important factors of a company for me is, that they are cruelty free. It definitely makes me love and appreciate the company more. This body wash is definitely top quality and I think it washes the skin well. It also came in a pretty big bottle so it will definitely last a while! I had the opportunity to try this product for free #freeproduct #trywithtopbox. I was pleasantly surprised to see the big bottle. I have been using since I received it. I have used it either during my morning shower or evening shower. I really like that it lathers up really nice, it has a great foam to it. I found that the honey doesn't really incorporate the best as there is a big clump on the bottom all the time. The scent is truly what is in the product – apricot and honey. It does make your skin feel smooth, which was nice. I would love to try their our products if they have different scents as well. One other thing, the cap is a bit hard to open, so I didn't close it completely every time I used it.Suzyq501
I got this #freeproduct from Topbox for review. I liked that the product lathered well even without a loofah. It felt really nice and smooth on my skin, without leaving a squeaky feeling. My skin felt very slick after I washed it off. I prefer bar soaps because I feel cleaner, but I think this would work great as a hand soap. It smells lovely and it's not too overpowering. I would like to retract (and I reported so maybe they reach out to me) my review from a few months ago. For about 6 months, I had solely been using the old version of this product for my sensitive skin. It was amazing and did not act up my sinus allergies. However, about a month after finally writing a review, the company changed their product. This new product is not for sensitive skin and not for people who have skin or sinus allergies. It is no longer creamy but gelish. The important and natural ingredients have been moved down the list, just as many ingredients have been replaced or moved down for synthetic and chemical ridden ingredients. This product is now just like every other brand and not worth even trying. Listen to the other commenters that have been loyal for longer than I have. This brand is quickly losing their loyal customers and will continue to do so until they switch back.A and W 2
I love the fact that it has such an heavenly aroma. Also it's very smooth with the shea butter it seems to leave behind a smooth feeling. I really love how it doesn't feel like you have any residue left over. It is cruelty free, plant-based, and made with 100% recycled plastic. I have a very sensitive skin and get itchy when using strong products especially body wash and shampoos. This product doesn’t made me itchy after 2x of using it at night. It smells so good but not overly perfumed. I received this for free from topbox circle. I never really thought about trying this brand before but now that I tried this body wash and was very happy with it, I will go buy some of their shampoo and lotion. I also looked at the price in walmart and was very surprised how inexpensive it is for a big bottle. After rinsing it with water, it gives me a smooth skin. I noticed it especially in my lower legs.
