This is just a little out of the norm but this item is great to use in the yard as well. Leave the broom behind and get a small garden hoe. Now you have a very easy and simple way to go out into your yard and get the little butt nuggets that your dogs leave behind. I bought the model prior to the current one being sold. I have no intention of buying the current one the replace my old one. I have three large inside dogs and I would use my dust pan at least every other day to get all the hair and destroyed toys out of the floor. I found the broom to be worthless, I'm 5'10" and had to bend over significantly to use the broom, the dustpan handle is slightly longer. The broom does attach to the dustpan, which is a great way to make sure they stay together and you don't have to go hunting it so if you are vertically challenged the length may not be an issue for you. The broom seemed to be well made and swept great it was just too short for me. I would use my regular broom to sweep everything into the pan however since the pan didn't close shut by the time I would walk to the trash can a lot of the hair and fuzz would get blown away by the fan or the breeze created from walking. We did use this a few times to gather liquid (water) and were very glad we had this nice big pan with a rubber front edge that made good contact with the ground. I was planning on replacing it with a dust pan that folded closed and demoting this one to the garage for the porch however in less than a year the bottom has a huge crack in it! It hasn't been misused, overused, moved from one location to the next (with the exception of taking it to and from the trash can) and I didn't even bother folding the handle down but it couldn't even last a full year. For the current price online it would be ok to buy again but I paid twice that in the store. If it can't handle my home use there is no way it could handle constant commercial use. For the current price it may be good if you have employees that tend to 'loose' things but if you want to buy something that will last you need to keep looking.PupGolden
I never write reviews, but I couldn't bare to see my favorite broom receive negative reviews. We've had this same broom and dust pan for several years! It has gotten alot of use over the years as there is no carpet in our house. It does an excellent job of sweeping up sand and dirt in Florida. You won't find a better dust pan either. If I could give this product more stars, I would. I have two cats, a short hair and a long hair. The shedding is so bad that a regular vacuum doesn’t do the job. I bought this out of desperation because I’m disabled and need an easy way to maintain shedding. I used it in a small part of my carpet and I couldn’t believe the amount of hair and dirt came up! Not only did it gather up the hair, but it deep cleaned the area as well!! I use the bristle part to loosen up the hair and the squeegee part to gather the hair and dirt together. The product works the same on hardwood flooring as well! It actually pulled the hair out of hard to reach places to make cleaning easier on me. Product does the same for tile. The handle is height adjustable and durable for intended use. I HIGHLY recommend this product! So I hate sweeping but with tile floor it’s a necessary evil. This has changed the game forever. It gets right along the base board and puts everything in the compartment to dump later. No more fussing with dirt lines. The only down sides are you can only go forward (per the sticker), you have to apply a little pressure to make it work but not to much, and if the tiles are uneven it gets caught. Overall happy with the product sweeping takes me about thirty minutes this definitely cut it down and picked up more dirt than if I was doing it by hand.jess.v
For some reason I thought having three dogs was a good idea. My house was suffocating in dog hair. This spiral sweep broom is freaking amazing on my hardwood and tile floors. The item was bought as a gift. The first one arrived and I wrapped it and gave to my mother and when she opened it and took it out of the box, the item had been used. It was dirty and had "trash" in the suction holder. I sent it back and got another one and the suction does not pick up like the video shows. I was very disappointed in this item. I purchased it for my 73 year old mom so she would not have to bend over to sweep the dust/trash into the dust pan. I was really hoping this item would be a happy solution for not bending over but it was not.Dorie
Horribly designed product. A waste of money! I am taking time to give a review. I bought for $30 at local store. Looked great as don't have to bend to sweep. Well, the suction is a little shoot off side of broom very awkwardly placed and it only suctions if you push down really hard on the shoot and suctions only that little dime sized section at a time. IT RUINED MY FLOORING tiles PUTTING AN INDENTED DART INTO IT! THIS IS A HORRIBLY DESIGNED PRODUCT. Positive: the broom sweeps like any $5 broom. DO NOT RECOMMEND! The product can be improved with suction within the actual broom section like a vacuum or finger button to suction at top with a larger suction funnel. Do Not waste your money!kelley
I purchased this out of a need due to physical challenges. The weight is about 1/2 gallon of milk well made materials. Suction is amazing and easy to operate … no need for push down on device to activate the suction … battery life is amazing . The weight of the broom and thickness of the handle give assurance. My whole family is impressed with this product. Having lower back issues some movements are difficult but consistently bending is my pet p ! No more of that and handle is decided no loosing and slim built to put in area of houseware not bunky … there is so much more to say but I will say it is reasonable price and worth every dollar … good job to the designers ☺️gypsirulez
