My 7 and 11 year old daughters love playing with this set. Like I said, there are a lot of little pieces so be careful with smaller kids and be cautious as they are easy to lose. The set itself is decent size and has two floors. Hair washing station is their favorite as well as the shop telephone to take appointments. This Calcio Critters Hair Salon was really fun and entertaining. It kept my kid busy for hours. She says that it was really fun to braid and style her hair with all the accessories provided. It was really fun for my kid to pretend to be a hairstylist and salon and use all those little pretend shampoos, conditioners, combs and all that kind of stuff to style the pony's hair. The doll house is cool to because it gives us room to put all the stuff. This kept my kid entertained for a long time so I can have some me-time. i Purchase 2 of these items and receive this item Friday 2, October 2020 Now i have to return them because they don't work as advertised As a long time user of Wahl Clipper, I was able to use their clipper to trim my beard, mustache, and sideburns, this is my 8th clipper for the last 20 years, so to the point these clippers are terrible, they can't even trim my forearm hair or toilet tissue with and without the trimming attach, they have some power issue when you attach the hair adapter, it would stop the blade from moving; if the blades stop they can burn the hair clipper. it looks like they're getting worst and the gimmick doesn't work, sometimes simple is best. by the way, the trimmer feature stops working as soon as I try to trim forearm hair. Bought to replace a 10 year-old corded trimmer (Wahl Super Taper – still going strong), this does the job but feels cheap and poorly finished in comparison. The motor is powerful and the blades cut well but had sharp points which drew blood when used unguarded – unlike the more rounded points of the Super Taper – a gentle filing smoothed them down, but shouldn't have been necessary. The cleverly colored blade guards were hard plastic and also had sharp ends that caught the skin – gentle filing fixed that too, but shouldn't have been necessary. The blade adjustment lever catches on the edge of the thin plastic body where the two halves join. The plastic body itself feels flimsy. The rubberised on/off switch doesn't properly engage unless pressed right in, so the motor will stop when you press it but start again when you release it if you didn't depress it far enough. So, I'm not really sure if I just got lucky, or if the instructions combined with the color coded guards made it happen- but wow. I surprised myself. My boyfriend needed a simple haircut, with a fade on the sides and this did the trick! I especially liked the ear guards, which made trimming around the delicate areas alot easier. After two to three uses, I became very comfortable with the device and can confidently provide at home haircuts similar to what my partner got at the salon (and better than what he got at a barber). Note: I only use the clipper around the lower portion of the head and I cut the top portions using the scissor/comb method. The clipper doesn't do fine detail or give a close shave (to really clean up the nape or side burns). Despite that, the clipper is an important part of my COVID haircut toolkit and has already paid for itself in terms of what my partner would pay for a haircut. The safety of knowing he can stay well-groomed without risk also makes the price of the clipper an exceptional deal. He has thick curly hair that grows quickly (up and out). I used this for the first time this week. I really like the shade. The trick to getting a good application is to make sure you shampoo your hair before application so it’s damp and why residue/build up is gone, which can make the color not adhere to your hair. Remember, semi-permanent coats the surface of your hair, not the cuticle, so you want it as clean as possible. Using it on dry hair will give you a tint, but probably not the bright effect you were hoping for. Liked it so much, I got a few more shades of red and brown to try out.shannon.g
this stuff is AMAZING!! So I have been on the grey silver hair trend (well trying to get there at least) lol and the stuff is a lifesaver! I couldn't get the darn brass out of my hair and it was driving me crazy! tried almost everything! My last option was toning but after all the bleaching I didn't want to use chemicals… this saved my life and turned my pale yellow to a beautiful silver after one wash with a little bit in my shampoo! then I shadow tried with it full strength! no brass slightly profile like I wanted (only in the sun and thats because I left it on as little longer to achieve the purple silver look). As someone who dyes their hair quite frequently, Manic Panic is always my go-to dye brand. So far, I have used Ultra Violet, Vampire Red (the color shown here), and Hot Hot pink. As a semi-permanent dye, it washes out quicker than permanent dyes typically do, but re-applying it when needed is super easy. Purple and pink for instance, tends to wash out quicker than red in my experience. After a week or two of washing hair daily, the purple and pink are almost completely gone. Vampire Red has seemed to last longer, however, and even after several weeks my hair is still tinted a slight pinkish-orange color unlike the other colors which leave no evidence of ever being dyed after a few weeks. To make the color last longer, I like to wash my hair and then put a shower cap on for the rest of the duration so that the water doesn't hit it the entire time, which seems to do wonders for keeping it vibrant for a little while longer. All of Manic Panics colors are super vibrant and I love that they do not have ammonia or some of the other damaging chemicals that most other dyes have. I would definitely recommend this brand for anyone who is interested in trying out a funky new do.BulldogLover
I use to love manic panic hair dye and have dyed my hair so many times with their products. However this product dyes everything it touches and I've spent many hours removing everything it has stained in the bathroom. It has unfortunately stained my entire shower as well as my skin. It's been over a week since I've dyed my hair and the dye is still bleeding on everything. I am now researching how to remove hair dye and booking myself in to the salon to remove the colour. Unfortunately due to this terrible experience I am reluctant to buy Manic Panic again. This was the very first time I tried manic panic of any kind, and as far as the company and product itself goes, I'm definitely going to get more! Unfortunately, however, I wish they'd properly advertise how the colors will show up on brown hair. This color shows up completely green (dark green) on my hair (which is normally identical to the dark hair on the chart). Despite what I expected, the green was more than fine by me, so I added some more to my hair. If this were the only problem, I would have left 4 stars. The nice, dark, almost metallic green color left behind only lasted about 3 days afterwards. 3 days and two washes later it was virtually all gone. I know they advise bleaching to get the best color, but if they know it won't work well on darker hair, then maybe they should stop advertising it for darker hair, or at least add honest photos of how it'll actually look rather than just photoshopping a blue layer over brown hair. If I got a different color better suited for my natural hair color, there's no doubt in my mind I would leave a 5 star review for that. The product itself was very easy, left my hair soft and undamaged, and surprisingly didn't stain as badly as I expected. So bottom line, yes, I would recommend, but ONLY if your hair is light. I'd been looking for the right combination to get a natural looking red/auburn (I CANNOT pull off ginger much to my chagrin) for almost a year and was afraid to go red again after my last experience with red (well orange) but I can't talk enough about how good this product is. I had mousy, light brown hair that is, at this point after 5 or so years of frowning it out, virgin hair. I also don't use heat on my hair so it's rather resistant to most temporary, semi- or Demi permanent color, which leads to a LOT of transfer. I have little to no transfer even with day 3-4 hair or after the shower as long as I rinse until the water is clear. I mix the merlot and copper shades 50/50 and use it every other wash in the place of my normal cleansing conditioner which equals about 1x a week for me with my curly girl routine. I've found this maintains the color without having to wait extended periods of time with goop on your head. I only do that every 4-5 washes depending on how my color is holding up. I get so many compliments on the color (it's been described to me as Irish setter red if you want a visual aid). People are shocked when I say it's dyed which is crazy to me but definitely welcome! I have very few gripes about the product, only really two minor things. Unfortunately, like almost every other non-permanent due on the market, it does have silicones, it just comes with the territory but I find that the shampooing with the color keeps my hair from getting too limp or messing with my curl pattern (3A). I don't like silicones but it's a trade-off I find worth it, especially given that I can stop using the product if it's weighing my hair down and messing with the curls. In addition to that, because I have to mix the colors and red is notorious for staining, my hands, my bathroom and tub have become Peach Bellini or red tinted on more than one occasion but that's more me not being careful enough than the product being bad. It's the one thing I can find that adds my particular color as I "shampoo". I'm grateful someone is making something for us people who like the look of stains. But honestly, it's a very small bottle and it's a bit pricy. I'm willing to pay it but with a caveat, there is no lather. It's exactly like when I've accidentally used the conditioner instead of the shampoo while in the shower. Not a great experience. So, how did it "clean?" Um, just like you'd expect conditioner to clean your scalp and hair. I use it but since I only shampoo every three days I want that creepy stank from scalp oil to not be on me. It's there. No… so I have to cheat by adding some of my other purple shampoo (no alcohol or other bad chemicals in it) to get a real clean experience. I use it alone every other time I shampoo and then I add enough of my other purple stuff on the alternating days to get rid of the scalp stank. I do not have oily scalp either. I don't even know how people with an oily skin condition would feel about this product. Would I recommend? Yes. But I would add my own experience just to get feedback from others. This review is for maintaining fashion color that was done professionally. I had purple and pink rainbow hair. My stylist recommended using this product as directed every other wash. I mixed the pink with a small amount of purple to make a dark pink. It really seemed to revive both colors. I applied to wet hair, used in place of shampoo and conditioner, left in for the rest of my shower, and then rinsed with cool water. Afterwards I applied olaplex hair perfector and a few drops of olaplex oil. Every time my hair was left perfectly soft and clean. I easily made it 3 months between color appointments. The bottle does say to test the product before each use. I imagine there must be some allergic reactions that can result, which I think is supported by several reviews stating they had hair loss. I would recommend being careful about trying to use this as a dye or for extended time on dry hair. This product does not work on my natural brunette growth. Lastly, this can stain your hands, but it won't for long. I just rinse my hands after every segment of hair that I work it into. I also have a scalp scrubber and wide tooth comb that I use to gently distribute so I'm not just using my hands. Rinse the product off of the shower walls and tub or it can stain, but bleach spray takes it right out.B

Most wahl clippers are the same, I can't tell the difference between this one, the color pro, etc series. THOUGH, stay away from this one. THE "EXTREME GRIP" aspect is just a rubber sleeve that LOVES to slide off. SO… that's a thing. The rubber used is fine, and in and of itself is grippy, but around the SMOOTH plastic shaft of the clipper, it slides around. REALLY negating the function of the "EXTREME GRIP". The color pro is better since its "GRIP" is PAINTED/MOLDED on to the body, it's not as chunky or comfortable as "EXTREME GRIP", but it's always been MORE than enough for my needs.
The clippers cut well, but the attachments were not user friendly. My old Wahl clippers died mid haircut so these were a necessary purchase. I couldn't connect any of the attachments and was afraid they might break. I didn't want to force them in case I needed to make a return. The attachments from my old clippers were compatible so I used those. The clippers did a nice haircut. The plastic storage case is made of flimsy plastic and feels like it could crack easily.JW4
Overheated on the very first use within 5 minutes. Trash. My cheaper wahl clippers of a different type have worked for over 3 years with very frequent use. I only purchased a new one because i thought it would be an upgrade with the stronger motor, and I really needed new attachment combs. I went from a medium copper red to dark auburn brown with the shade Milano Brown – 5NAC. Picking a shade on the Ulta app wasn't the easiest process and going to the Madison Reed website only helped a little in that their quiz matched me to the same shade I was leaning toward based on the photos here. The shade may be a touch too dark for me, but I just dyed it today so I think it'll grow on me. The sites, both Ulta and Madison Reed, list Milano as a "dark chocolate brown," but the actual box clearly says Dark Auburn. I'm mostly okay with that as I love red, but I was actually aiming for a browner brown. While there aren't highlights in this formula, it does have some vibrancy and shine to keep it from being mousy. It is, at least on me, definitely a dark red brown. The kit is a very good and complete kit. I love that it has 2 pairs of gloves, a barrier and wipe to keep you from dying your skin and there's plenty of dye for a full application. I don't know how I feel about the shower cap as I did start to feel a little warm in it. It achieved a full color application, though, so I'm pleased. My hair feels a little textured after dying it, but it doesn't look dry or damaged in any way. It's honestly like I used I volumizing spray or mousse, but I didn't. Maybe there is something like that in the conditioner because my hair does look fuller. I have very fine, straight hair so it looks very good to me after the complete process. That whole process, for a full head application on hair that hasn't been dyed in months, took me a little over an hour start to finish. Every step was easy to complete for someone used to dying their own hair and the instructions are clear for any level of experience. I worried a little that the price meant it might be too advanced for me, but it's like all the other kits that I've tried with a few nice extras. The price and difficulty finding my right shade are why this gets 4 stars instead of the full 5. The kit is a 5 star and then some kind of kit, but not being able to tell if you're picking the right shade is a big problem when buying online. $30 for something I've never tried before when I'm used to paying around $3 for Revlon ColorSilk was a risk. I wanted something different, though, and this absolutely delivered. I'm very likely to try it again in the future. I'll be looking at a different shade and hoping for a sale.Adele S
I used this hair color religiously for 2 years, thinking it was a safer option than other box dyes. The color is good, it's easy enough to use, and the amount per kit was fine, even for my super long hair. However, I would notice more hair loss after coloring, and over the course of 2 years, I would have several episodes of hair loss. I thought it was due to stress, hormones, etc. But I researched and came across other reviewers and encounters of hair loss like mine from various Madison Reed color kit users. Madison Reed claims to be free of the traditional "harsh chemicals" found in hair dye, but fail to mention they simply replaced the usual suspects with harsh alternatives: ammonia is subbed out with ethanolamine, which is known to cause skin irritation and can also cause hair loss!!! There is a new class action lawsuit against Madison Reed for this very reason, as per Feb 2022 (NY), and I am certain there will be many more. I'm 49 so hair overall has changed. I've been using this color for a couple of years now. It's overpriced, and the last 3 times I've colored my hair within less than 2 weeks grays are shining! After 5-6 washes I am still having grayish black colored water. I can't attribute this to one specific thing but I purchased about 6-8 boxes when it was BOGO these are all from the same timeframe. I only color it every 6 weeks if I can help it but it honestly needs it after 2.5-3 weeks. I have a few boxes left but unfortunately I won't be using it. I went back to mixing my own. The black doesn't seem like real black either… it's like a reddish tint after a few washes. I don't mind that so much, BUT I do mind seeing color wash out after 5-6 washes literally up until I color again I am still washing out color. It's been very drying as well. This is the FIRST (and really ONLY)hair color that I've used that isn't entirely gone and faded in a couple weeks. The irony is that when it's time to move onto a different color or I want to change it up, I have no issues getting it out! I personally prefer the shade cotton candy (and it looks intimidating in the bottle as if it would be too bright, but it's not). It was super adorable pretty sure I paid under $7 for this tiny bottle. Yes the bottle may look tiny but it did not disappoint! It was soo pigmented better than the maniac crap that washes out almost immediately! This has had such a beautiful vibrant pink color for over a month with multiple washes! I had burgundy hair and I tried a specific brand of blue dye that turned my hair into a rainbow Couple weeks after I bought and adore red semi permanent dye and decided to try it in my rainbow hair. I was a bit pessimistic because the first one was a failure and I wasn’t bleaching it or anything just apply red dye Let me sayyyy!!! I absolutely love this product! I use it in between getting my hair professionally colored and it tones down the brassiness and livens up my dull hair. I have naturally medium brown hair that I get highlighted and colored occasionally. I used to get my hair professionally colored more often but after finding this product I do this instead when I don’t need highlights and I just want to refresh the brunette color. This product deepens my brunette hair while still showing dimension from my highlights. My hair comes out shiny and looking much more healthy. For me this is a life saver product! I have dark brown brown hair with red highlights, and I bought the mask to refresh my highlights since they faded to orange. I put the mask all over my hair after I showered and towel dried and I took a while applying so in total I probably had it on for 20 minutes. My orange highlights are now a nice cherry red and although I didn’t expect it to some areas of my dark hair have a tint to it! I also have a platinum blonde birthmark in my hair which I tried my best to separate from the mask in fear of staining it, I couldn’t get it 100% out so those hairs turned pink so beware if you’re naturally a very light blonde. Also I wouldn’t even be mad if it didn’t color because my hair feels and smells incredible! I’m hoping I can build it to a deeper red or mix it with the cocoa mask for a darker red in the fall. I have used platinum and blue. I expected the platinum one to turn my hair silver, but it barely does anything. It more just tones brass out of your blonde hair and darkens it a little. My hair is a bleached medium blonde to pale blonde, and the pale blonde areas looked much more silver toned, the darker blonde hairs it basically did nothing, got a little darker. I have also tried mixing the blue into the platinum to get a more steel blue silver tone, and that works well. The blue was very nice, not green at all. And gave my silver hair a much deeper silver stainless steel color. Using the blue undiluted would be much more blue. The colors are good if you want something temporary or wanna experiment. But the best part was that it made my hair feel pretty soft and healthier. I hope they come out with more colors, and more concentration color options. I was going to try lilac but I saw some people saying it faded into a green, so now I'm afraid to try it. The only issue for me was when i applied the platinum to my shoulder length dry hair, I had to use the WHOLE FULL SIZE BOTTLE. My hair is thick and dry, and I literally used the whole thing. So if you want the bottle to last then do not apply to dry hair, make sure your hair is DAMP first. The directions say towel dried,. I have also applied it while IN the shower and mixed with my conditioner, and I got good color touch-up results from that too.3lll3

I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. I really need bond builder for my trifecta hair issue: Gray, colored, curly. But my eyes widened when I saw the small quantity of product offered. I have curly hair to my lower back and that little bottle isn't going to last very long. Please offer this product in a larger size/quantity like you are doing with your shampoo and conditioner. Also, the sprayer shoots a thin direct spray instead of a wide spray, which would make the product apply more easily. As it is, the product is not really getting distributed very well. I should clarify that if I don't love a product, I don't even bother writing a review – but your products – out of all the products available for difficult hair problems – ARE AMAZING and actually WORK. They have SAVED my hair for the first time in years. I'm hoping my relatively small requests reach the powers who can fix the available size offering and sprayer issue. Lastly, when offering people the choice to describe their hair in the diagnostic, it's helpful to allow more than one choice. Like on the review that says "Would you describe your hair as:" Well, mine is Curly, Dry, Frizzy/Unruly, Colored/Chemically Treated, Lifeless/lacking volume, thinnin, dull/lacking shine, weak and damaged. And the products have helped address all of the issues except oiliness, which I don't have. I've been using the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment and the No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector in my hair care routine . Now, I'm not a person that heat styles my hair often but I do keep it fairly long so I have to keep an eye on split ends. I found that the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment comes in a really nice spray bottle that mists quite finely and evenly into the hair leaving my hair more silky and shiny. I can see an immediate difference in texture and appearance. The No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector was suggested to be used with the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment and I found that it really helps with my split ends and may be even better than the other split end mender that I normally use. I would definitely suggest giving the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment and No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector to anyone looking to add shine and repair their damaged hair. I think these two products would be good for any types of hair but I have long and thin straight hair. The products really worked for me and the results are amazing. First off I thought this was like a thick lotion or cream and no, it is not.. so you’re gonna have to buy a squirt bottle or a mister of some type to go along with this product.  when you shake the bottle it sounds like water but giiiiirl it is not! I like this leave in conditioner it has a water like consistency. It has almost a fruity pineapple scent. It doesnt moisturize my hair but It is also an additional heat protection so it makes my life easier to not constantly try to buy a seperate heat protectant for styling. It doesnt do much hydration at all but it does the job for a tiny extra bit of moisture. If youre someone that has low perosity hair i don’t recommend as it doesnt have much hydration properties at all but maybe for someone who has an oily scalp and want a more lightweight product this may be the one for you. This conditioner with the matching shampoo has been the only product I have found on salon and store shelves that makes my over processed hair feel like hair again. I have had a blonde head of brittle straw and this product works great, sometimes it is a strong tingle so it's not great for every single day use. I have an oily scalp, I wash 3 times a week and this product reduces my shampoos which protects my hair from breaking. I loose fistfulls of hair when I wash it, not even the pricey bonding products work, plus they are too heavy for my fine wavy hair. This is my absolute favorite shampoo/conditioner to use, always! Not only does the tea tree oil clarify my roots, but it keeps my hair silky smooth and clean feeling for an extra day compared to other clarifying shampoos. Also, the scent of the lavender and other ingredients inside this shampoo conditioner duo is phenomenal! I dunno how, but the mint, lavender tea tree oil come together perfectly with scent and that tingly feeling your scalp gets. I cannot even express how eveyone needs to try at least once in their life! I *guarantee* that you will NOT want to use any other tea tree oil shampoo after having tried Paul Mitchell's . My only negative remark on this product is how expensive it can be seen for in beauty supply shops. Online I can usually find the 1L pump shampoo conditioner set for $50 or less. My local hair salon was selling smaller sized bottles individually for $39.99! I'm not sure if this is due to the greed of the beauty salon's or their owner's or if Paul Mitchell isn't providing enough of an incentive or discount to sell from their product at a salon, but whatever it is…it needs to be addressed. The absolute best thing out there. I have dealt with dandruff for the past few years. Never had dandruff in my life until recently. I got this shampoo and conditioner and it has changed everything. I haven’t had any dandruff, my hair feels amazing, and my scalp feels so clean. I would get a smell on my scalp and it didn’t smell good. I switched to this shampoo and conditioner and it has completely went away. I don’t even have to brush my hair after using it. I love this product and I will be getting it again!

My hair feels great after pairing it with other Paul Mitchell conditioners, but while rinsing it out, my hair feels very dry so that is why it has a four star review. I feel like it takes a lot of the hydration out and I think that’s a great thing if your hair gets easily oily but if not, this probably isn’t the greatest for you. I bought this item 2 days ago as recommended by the sales girl. I've been using the 2 step treatment for well over a year with great success. The only down side was having to sit under the dryer. I was so excited when I found out Aphogee put out a hair strengthener that didn't require a dryer, that I ran out and bought this product. BIG mistake! After leaving Step 1 in my hair for only 5 minutes, my hair dried out to the point of breaking off as I rinsed it! In addition, my hair is now the consistency of a brillo pad! 2 moisturizing (no protein) deep treatments later, my hair is still fried! Sorry, Aphogee. This product is total garbage! It did not lock in the moisture like the 2 step. In fact, it locked it out! Guess I'll just have to go back to sitting under the dryer…
I bought this after seeing recommended on a curly hair site. I think it comes in different sizes, like trial size and larger. This 3oz. size is perfect as I've gotten 3 uses so far and still have more left for about 2 more treatments. I have long, Latina, 2c-3b frizzy curly hair, medium to think density with bleach and color. I can see the visible difference and feel it when I do this treatment. I alternate between this and the pricey Olaplex 3 that's also amazing and worth the price too. If you can't afford Olaplex (even though it's absolutely worth it, friend!) then try this:)K

Loved the name and the colour! Was all for it! the colour was absolutely beautiful in the beginning, but be aware!! Your skin and nails will be stained for days/ weeks to come every time you wash your hair. I had to use gloves, each time I washed my hair, or else I would look like princess Fiona. Lol . Even just scratching my head, or washing in the shower, by back and neck was stained. I only wash my hair about twice a week, but it still faded so quickly, after about 2 weeks blond was showing through on top, and I just didn't want to go through the staining process again, so used shampoo and baking soda, to fade it out quicker. I applied this color to very very light blonde hair (bleached — see starter photo). I left it on for maybe 40 minutes and washed it out with warm water and applied a color sealing conditioner. The color washed away immediately — but it did tone my hair and make it very light! This was kind of pretty on its own. I tried again after a couple of days and this time I left the color on for about 4 hours. I applied it and put a bag on my head and just went about my day in my house. After washing it out with COLD water and applying the conditioner the color turned out beautifully! Not sure how it will work out with longevity but I love it!ambirbler
This dye worked exceptionally well, but almost a bit too much! For this color at least I think I used a bit too much for my hair (a little under half of the container), as it took 4-5 washes for it to run clear. The dye as well wound up staining my fingernails and shower quite a bit, which took some substantial cleaning to make sure it didn't stain too much. I'm extremely happy with the final results of the color itself, and very glad there was no issues with odor or stinging like traditional dyes, so I'll likely be purchasing again. I'd just recommend using gloves for when washing, not just application, and potentially use less dye than you think you need at the start!

This stuff really worked for me in terms of colour and overall coverage. (Also found it didn’t cover greys but I wasn’t expecting that since the company says that it’s not meant for grey coverage so I just pluck them.) I did find it a bit drying on my hair, so I recommend an Olaplex treatment to follow up if you often have an issue with dry hair. Good news is that my hair soaks up most products, bad news is that any dye usually dries it out. I read in these reviews to use less time if you have thinner, more dry hair and I totally echo that tip. Start with 5 mins, rinse, dry, style, see how you like it. Can always add more time on follow up applications, but wait at least 4-6 week to try again. Having said all that, this product almost works TOO good. My concern in this part is for your shower, not your hair. If going with a darker colour I highly recommend applying outside of the shower, like with any other hair dye, and washing out in a stainless steel sink. The first time I used it, I applied in the shower and it stained the white walls and white shower curtain. And also stained the label on the bottle! I thought my partner was going to KILL me (his house) and I had a mini panic attack while praying I could get it to come off the shower walls (white plastic tub surround). Rubbing with my fingers was not cutting it. I was able to scrub it off using a powder cleaner, but if you want to save yourself the anxiety, just apply like a regular dye, and wash out in the sink. If you don’t have that option, or would rather risk your shower over your bathroom, just have a good cleaner on hand to clean spots immediately off the walls. DO NOT apply in the shower if you have light-coloured tile! You will never be able to get it out of light-coloured grout, which is the stuff between the tiles holding them to the wall. Do not risk it or you might be paying to re-tile the shower and/or won’t be getting your damage deposit back!GenoaK
I received a free full size sample of the dpHUE Gloss+ Semi-permanent hair color and I am a fan! I am a licensed cosmetologist and I usually stay away from anything that isn't used in a professional salon setting but, after a recent color appointment left my hair over-processed and brittle, as well as too blonde I was excited to give this semipermanent hair color and deep conditioner a try. (We just moved across the country and I don't have the time right now to make it to the supply house for a toner and conditioning treatment) I received the color medium brown. The application process was so easy, I shampooed and conditioned my hair in the shower, stepped to the side and towel dried my hair and combed it out, then applied this semipermanent hair color. I left it on for the remainder of my shower, approximately 7-10 minutes. The pigment is wonderful and rich, and it leaves beautiful warm tones in your hair. If you don't wear gloves to apply, make sure you have soap on standby to clean your hands or it will stain! This product left my hair silky smooth and shiny. I was very pleased with the golden brown color it toned my hair to. I was even more pleased to see that it did not slough off on my flat iron or my white pillow cases. I've already shampooed my hair once and the color stuck around. I can tell it's lighter and that it'll continue to lighten as I shampoo, but that's the point of semipermanent hair color. I think if I was in a pinch and needed to tone my hair between color appointments I would definitely consider buying this product. I loved the ease of not having to mix this product and having both the option to apply in-shower to damp hair or to dry. I used the dark brown which was perfectly suitable for my hair color. For the first application I used the in-shower on damp hair method. This sounded like no brainer… I didn't have to worry about the product getting on anything, I was already going to wash my hair anyway, and I could quickly and easily wash my hands to prevent the pigment from staining my hands… Right? Yes, to all but the latter!!! The company does warn that darker shades can stain the skin but I never imagined that it would stain my hands the second it made contact. I had to scrub my hands with a pumice stone until they were sore and raw in order to get the stains off. You have been warned 🙂 Now fearful of what was the underestimated power of this product, I only left it on my hair for approximately 5 minutes. The results were great, as I did notice my color was a beautiful, deeper, richer version of its self prior to the treatment. Thankfully, my hair is already shiny so I am unable to review that aspect of the products claim. After 2 weeks I thought it only be fair to try this product using the dry method and left it on for the same duration of time for a most accurate comparison… This time, I used gloves 🙂 The results were equally as positive and effective without the stress of staining. Both applications were super easy, as there was no mixing, the product comes in an easy to use bottle with a pump dispenser and the formula is rich and thick making for an effortless application. First thing is I received this #freeproduct color mask in the color "pitch black". I'm upset as this was not a black color at all, it's gray. While technically the color is on the bottle in a small font where it can be overlooked, it's still misleading calling it black. Since I already dye my hair black I thought I could use this to cover my roots and brighten the rest. I was so wrong. I applied it on dry hair and left it on beyond the 15 minutes in the directions, for about an hour under a cap (to benefit from the "mask" oils). Even though this is a darker gray, it didn't cover my natural brunette color at my roots and left my hair looking dull and kinda dirty. However it did leave my normally dry curly hair soft to the touch, but it was still extremely frizzy and prone to breakage after. Fortunately for me after the 1st wash a little more than half the color came out and my hair looked less dull & dirty. It still felt soft for a while even after adding frizz control serums. I'm really hoping the other colors are more accurate and perhaps work slightly better on darker hair, but this is still a good hair mask, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I would probably recommend this more to someone who has lighter hair for color purposes and others more for the mask part, but not at it's current price. Ok – so the color transfer worked better than I thought it might… meaning it did deposit quite a lot of color. It was relatively easy to use, and was not harsh on my hair or scalp. My hair is feeling soft after using, but will see how it does after washing again. However, the colors need better descriptions, especially the colors like La Plage. I used La Plage which is merely described as "sand" on very light blonde hair, hoping to restore some more natural sandy blonde color to my hair again. The product did work on my dry hair depositing color in 15 minutes, but the color I would not describe as "sand." There are parts that are very very strawberry blonde or reddish blonde, and some that are slightly more subtle with the reddish hues. It did restore a more natural-looking color to my hair, just not the color I was hoping for. I think the other colorful colors will be hard to confuse, but the La Plage was not very straight forward. I also bought the "strawberry" color expecting to use it later in the summer, but I may try it sooner than expected considering this strawberry blonde is not really what I wanted. I will try to update this review again later. For now, I'm going to give this a few days and see what the color does after a few washes. Also, I had watched a video review of the "magic" color before purchasing. That color is very gray, and on the darker side. Buyer be aware there are colors that need better descriptions than offered on the packaging alone.AmyB

I have naturally straight dark brown hair, between a level 4 or 5 and get it balayaged to a sandy neutral blonde, between a level 7/8. I've wanted to try something new without making a drastic change for a while now and decided to give this a shot. The instructions say that you can use on dry hair for up to 15 minutes a more intense color or on wet hair for a few minutes for a more subtle look. I really did not want a noticeable difference, so I left it on for about 10 to15 minutes on wet hair and the result was very, very subtle. The color is mostly visible up close or in sunlight, and it looked very soft and pastel – almost peach colored. This was perfect for me and just want I was looking for. The color, however, did not last. After my first wash it completely faded away, which is fine considering I was not looking for anything permanent. The best part though was the way it made my hair feel, it was so incredibly soft! Better than my Amika hair mask and the smell was wonderful. This may work better if your hair is already lightened and you leave it on dry hair for 20-30 min, but if you're looking for something subtle that is not long lasting and will leave your hair feeling soft and smooth, then this is a great product.Meegs

I'm absolutely obsessed with this color, London Lilac. It's the perfect purple. It is super vibrant the first 2-3 days but after that it tones down a little to a beautiful long-lasting purple. And the smell of the conditioner it comes with is amazing. After about 2 months the color does fade to a red shade, but not a horrible brassy shade, in my opinion. I got a similar color done at the salon for over $100 and it still didnt last as long as this boxed color. There is also a similar purple shade (slightly darker) by Vidal Sassoon that I used when this shade was not available too and it was great quality also. I'm trying to take a break from dying my hair but would totally buy again!katelyn.l
I have been using this product for over 3 years. I LOVE IT! i find if i go from a dark brown to this… it takes 2 dye sessions to achieve the results without bleaching. If i decide to bleach i only do it once a year just to give it that extra pop in the summer and its alot brighter in the sun. I let my roots grow out the rest of the year and just touch up over those, as it fades it creates a great ombre of colors. from darker to lighter. I have had so many compliments on this color, even after it has faded and my roots are showing…. and belive me when it fades it fades to a pretty wine color. sometimes i wash my hair alot just to get the faded color before my roots show LOL. my hair is never dried out. actually it feels softer then it did before i dye it. the conditioner smells great. I use it as a leave in conditioner sometimes lol My fiance throws a fit whenever i think of going to another color. I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS COLOR!fawn.v
This has been my color since the day it came out! I have no idea why it is so hard to find, but luckily I've been able to stock up and I grab it when it I see it! I'm praying they never discontinue this color because I have been through so many reds before this one came along. This is the most vibrant and longest-lasting over the counter red that I have found. The picture is freshly-dyed and less than 24 hours. It is so multi-faceted and shiny and complements a variety of skin tones.member-345c63
