This bike is one of the best investments we've made. It performs flawlessly and there is plenty of versatility whereas we no longer need a gym membership. The price point was perfect the membership price is certainly worth it. Therefore, I would highly recommend this piece of equipment in your gym. However, we bought Echelon shoes and just over 30 days later my Velcro broke. Since it was after 30 days later I could not return them. We had other dealings with customer service in the months just after buying the bike. The customer service leaves much to be desired as far as buying accessories from the company. They are a third-party and getting a hold of the corporate seems to be near impossible. I still gave the five star review simply because the equipment is outstanding. Just don't buy accessories from their store if you need to return them it is quite a process.
I absolutely LOVE this bike and the community that rides it. I bought my bike (Costco 4S) in February 2021 and today, (11/15/2022) I completed my 1000th workout. I have over 800 rides and almost 200 Fitpass classes completed. The variety of classes makes it possible for me to ride either a live or on-demand ride every day, whether I feel like riding 75 minutes or want to take it easy with a 20 minute low impact ride. The instructors are exceptional. While I have never met any of them personally, they project warmth and compassion, and make me, the rider feel like I am important to them. The feeling I get from them is that this is more than just a job, it is really their passion and they care about us, their riders. The variety of Facebook groups specific to Echelon are numerous and there is something for everyone. When I had an issue with the attached tablet not allowing me to log in, I sent a Facebook message to Echelon and within 5 minutes I had a message back with instructions how to reset the tablet. Ok people this is not a shirt you can stuff back in the bag and return to QVC. The thing took my husband 2 hours to put together and it weighs a ton. So here are the details to assist. Full disclosure I'm a 5'4 fat lady (working on changing the fat part, hence the bike.) So I had been using the x-bike and wanted to level up for a sturdy bike that I could do standing cycle jogging out of the saddle. I'd been using the fancy bike app with my x-bike so and didn't want to spend the extra on a bike with the attached monitor. Like I need another screen in my house??? I like using the bike with my Ipad so I can take any class, you tube, peloton app or just netflix and spin so this seemed to be the ticket. Ok so here's the downfalls: 1- THE SEAT IS A TORTURE DEVICE- this was just not doable for me or my 14 year old son who validated my concern. So no problem, did some research and ordered a new bike seat on amazon, spent an hour or so learning how to change on youtube now comfy seat- check. 2- Configuration IS A SQUEEZE- ok so if you move the HANDLEBARS up they also move outwards from the body, assuming that all riders are super tall that want high handles, they say to raise them high if you are pregnant have back pain or are a beginner, so you better be tall too. Of course, you can move the seat forward to match but then wait my knees are in a funny position, and oh how do I get off this thing? The brake is right on my who-ha while I try to shimee out of this thing. So now I just find myself riding too far up and back to avoid knee pain or who-ha dismount, so feel like I'm bracing for dear life to get to those handle bars way forward. 3. The setting to move up the seat are not very clear and make it difficult to find the right spot again if someone else uses the bike. Wind-up! So with all this you wonder why I still have it. Well, it's a nice bike, I spent about $1000 bucks time and energy getting it set up, and I'm assuming that as I get thin these issues will subside. I am so so happy with this bike. I am 75 and put the bike together by myself in about an hour. Directions are really clear; take your time and enjoy the process of putting it together. Bike is so quiet and very smooth ride. Love the scanner that includes heart rate, miles, calories, time peddling. The bike is really sturdy and fits in an 18 inch square space when closed. Very easy to close and open. Yes, pull the pin to open and close the bike……there are two holes that line up for open and close position. The seat is also really comfortable. In response to P65 for consumers . . .it's a warning label such as don't use a curling iron while in the tub, or consume paint chips. "Should I worry about Prop 65? Probably not. The Prop 65 label is like a noisy alarm that rings equally loudly about smaller amounts of low-risk substances and huge amounts of potentially harmful chemicals. The labels don't say how much of the chemical is present, or how much it would really take to make a person sick." And one key word is "might"! Most items should probably have this label on it! All the toxins we purchase is outrageous-but unless you are licking, consuming, or eating the paint chips, etc. the worries should be labeled but it's safe to use. I bought this bike after I waited too long to buy the recumbent bike and it sold out. I didn’t want the traditional style bike because I felt my caboose was too large for it and the bike seat would be uncomfortable. This model was also on sale with free shipping and against my better judgement I purchased it for $129 pretax and no shipping. I am incredibly glad that I did. This was quick & simple to put together. Anyone could put this together! The directions are easy to read and specific, and there aren’t a lot of parts to decipher what is what or where it goes. The hardest thing for me was deciding what level to choose for the seat (which turns out to be generously sized and comfortable)! It’s compact and light enough to easily move and I’m amazed at how quiet it is! I am 49, 5’1” and my weight was up to 215# when I bought this. There are 8 tension levels on this lil home bike. I started at level 1 for 5 minutes at the beginning of January. It’s now the middle of February and I’m at level 4 and I ride for 45 minutes a day or longer. I’ve lost 20 pounds and 15 inches of fat so far. In the end, I’m glad I had to get this style bike because I don’t feel that I would have worked as hard if I had or had as many moving body parts if I had purchased the recumbent bike. The digital screen is easy to read and use. I hope this lil guy goes many more miles with me and I highly recommend this bike to anyone who wants to exercise and doesn’t want a large piece of equipment or a large price tag. I only bought this bike last week, but I love it so far! I researched for months on different sites and different products. I was hoping for the iC4, but it's out of stock everywhere. This one was in stock and available to pickup. All the issues I've read about seem to be related to mishandling during shipping. I followed all assembly instructions, especially pedal installation, making sure they were threaded on straight and then tightened with the wrench. The bike is super quiet. I've preemptively bought some silicone lubricant for the wheel and brake pad after reading about noise. I watched some videos on maintenance and it's super easy to care for. I think a lot of issues come up because people think you don't have to take care of expensive equipment. The seat is a traditional racing seat, so it's uncomfortable if you have a big butt like me, but I bought a padded cover and it makes it more bearable. I'm 5'9" and heavy and the bike is big and sturdy enough. I'm not sure how accurate the display numbers are, but I'm also not such a serious rider that I need the most accurate stats; I just want a good cardio workout and hopefully drop some pounds. I bought this bike ~9 months ago, to replace a cheap one that, while it looked like this Schwinn on the outside, had a resistance mechanism that just didn't work. What a relief it was to get on this IC3! I've been riding ~6X a week & it's still working well. My favorite feature (besides the fact that the resistor/brake function works) is the horizontal adjustment feature for the handlebars. If I can't adjust the handlebars both vertically & horizontally, my hands fall asleep while riding. No worries for that issue with this bike. As several reviewers have noted, the "computer" is pretty awful. The timer works (mine loses about a tenth of a second per minute, but that's not a big deal) and the rpm meter, when you can see it (seems like it's always on mph when I glance down) is accurate. The calorie count is a flat 13 calories per minute, no matter how fast or slowly you go, so that's not even vaguely right. The unit rarely picks up my pulse transmitter, but when it does it's laughably inaccurate, to the tune of 50bpm high or low. I don't know if the distance is accurate, because I totally don't care about that. It should be, but given that this unit was clearly programmed by people who don't bike, I wouldn't bet on it. On the other hand – see those down-facing brackets at the top? If the top one disappears, you're going under 60bpm. That could mean that you have so much resistance on that you're going to blow out your knees, so that's a handy signal to have. Despite my grumping about the monitor, this is a really great bike. All most of us need from a monitor is to know how long we've been pedaling & enough bpm info to make sure we're in a knee-safe range. And this monitor does that just fine. I assembled it by myself with no problems. The parts fit and lined up well. It is a sturdy bike, it doesn't flex or bend under my weight (203 pounds). The pedaling action is smooth and very quiet. What a wonderful exercise option! Not real easy to assemble, took 1.5 hours. Seat is very comfy for my big behind. My legs are short so I am looking for an idea to make the pedals thicker. I can still use the bike but can't wait for solution to pedal problem. The readouts on screen are easy to read and advance at a nice pace. Bike is 99% silent…no complaints here! It is compact by just removing a pin and pushing it into the 2nd hole so that nothing flops around when you move it on the wheels on the front. The wheels don't touch the ground until you tilt the bike so it is steady when you are riding it with all 4 round rubber pads on the ground. The quiet noise level when working out is the most enjoyable experience as I can watch movies (old Maverick cowboy movies) with the sound not turned up. The peddling motion is really smooth and the readings are easy to read and I can keep my pulse rate right where I want it to be. It takes up very little space when stored up right and is easily moved and fairly light. It takes a 270 lbs man riding easily with no problem. The cost was lower than expected for this quality of a bike. The seat is adjustable for 5' 1" to 5' 7" or 5' 7" to 6' 2". My son in law is 6' 2" at 270 lbs and it works perfect for him. My ProForm bike has greatly exceeded my expectations. It took less than 1 hour to set up, the tools were included and the instructions were very clear. The bike is definitely well built and high quality especially for the price point. There are several adjustments to customize to your liking. The handlebars are perfectly positioned regardless of whether you are sitting or standing. The pedals have toe cages so your feet stay secure, and the tablet holder is a plus and holds my devices securely so I can take any number of the iFit classes there is to offer. I did receive a discount for the bike in exchange for my honest review which I am leaving now that I've been using the bike and iFit for awhile. I have to say I really enjoy the iFit app – it came with a 30 day free trial but I knew immediately I'd be purchasing the annual membership. So many classes and scenic rides. The classes are fun (but hard!) and I'm really enjoying virtually travelling all over the world on the bike. The bike is perfect size so it fits in small spaces, and can be wheeled around by the 2 front wheels which is convenient. It also fits perfectly anywhere I put it. I would also mention that this bike is a smooth ride and silent.
I think the only good thing about this bike is the price point 🙁 The assembly of the bike was super easy. I was able to assemble it 80% alone. The rest of it was too heavy for me to hold and screw at the same time so my husband helped with that part (handle bars). There’s a few major disappointments here. First, the left pedal is impossible to screw on. It tells you to tighten it counter clockwise, which we did. But the grooves don’t work (idk how else to explain it). The left pedal doesn’t fasten completely to the leg of the bike. We thought maybe it’s not supposed to (?), so I got up and tested it. After pedaling for three seconds, the left pedal popped completely off. We tried for nearly an hour to get this pedal to screw on all the way but it never did. That night, I reached out to the email address provided in the instructions to ask them for help with the part. We got a reply from a bot, advising us to turn the pedal counterclockwise, which we already did for an hour. I replied to the bot saying we tried that with no luck. Despite their bot promising contact from an actual team member, we still haven’t heard back (it’s been two days). Then, I decided to call the support phone number provided. It also goes to a bot, who advises they’ll only transfer me to a human if I register my product and provide my registration number to them. So note, if you got this bike secondhand and need help from customer service, it’ll be nearly impossible unless you have the registration number. My husband somehow managed to get the pedal halfway screwed on enough for us to use it without the left foot busting off mid stride, but it is sooooo wonky. The pedal jiggled around and is very unstable and not safe to ride at all. When I finally registered my product, I called the support number back. I indicated I wanted to return the product because I’m completely over it. After clicking thru the menu, once I told it I didn’t buy it directly from the manufacturer the bot told me “please go to the store you bought your item from to complete your return. Goodbye.” This infuriated me! I understand they didn’t sell me the bike so I can’t return it to them, but this is the least concerned company about their products or customer service. I will ever in my life purchase anything from this company again. The other issue I have is I feel like the bike isn’t made for short people. I’m 5 foot even and the seat is too tall for me, even when it’s on the lowest setting. When I stand next to bike, the seat hits mid torso when it should hit right about my hips/pelvis. My feet lift off the pedals when I hit the bottom of my stride. This isn’t something I can even ask them to fix so it’s a total bust at this point. Finally, the seat is UNBEARABLE! I have to admit I had doubts about this, after reading some of the reviews, but I am so glad and relieved that I ordered it anyway. This elliptical machine is incredible. Its small size makes you underestimate its capabilities. It took me all of ten minutes to get used to the small size of the foot pedals and short stride, and after a few tweaks, the tension cable works perfectly. This is not a gym quality elliptical by any means, but for the price, it offers everything I could ask for. It wobbled a little bit at first, but I went back and tightened some of the bolts holding the assembly together, and now I can't feel the slightest wobble. The issue with the tension cable was a little bit trickier, after adjusting the cable that runs up to the adjuster, it still didn't feel quite right, but there is another section of cable inside the wheel cover. Apparently if you remove the bolts underneath the wheel cover you can reach in and tighten the cable as much as necessary from underneath the machine, and then just put the wheel cover back on. The tension knob now works exactly as it is supposed to. Huge difference in the amount of tension you can apply! I used it for the first time today, after assembling it, and I love this machine already. It definitely offers a solid workout, it is quiet enough to allow me to listen to music or watch tv while I am using it, without headphones, and it takes up about half the space of a treadmill. I am still working out the reliability of the various monitors (calories, heart rate, distance, etc) by comparing it to the data on my smartwatch, but so far I am very happy with this purchase.VG
I have put a lot of things together, but this took me a long time. I broke it up into 2 days (1 evening and 1 morning). Yes, the YouTube video helped but he doesn't show some details. I put the tension knob on as directed, but can't change the tension level. I got this because I have a bad knee, so I wanted to start out slower. However, it seems to be stuck on one level and doesn't change no matter where I turn the knob. I wish I could call someone about this. It's too tough for me; I can only do 19 minutes at a time.MaryO

Great buy for the money! Very sturdy. I did have to move the felt pad box back to center up with the adjustment handle bar. I drilled a new hole in the felt pad bracket to move the entire felt pad bracket back just a little bit. The adjustment tension handle bar did not line up straight into the center of the resistance felt pad box when you turned it down. When you turned the adjustment handle down, it did not go down exactly into center of the felt pad and it was pushing down only the front side of the felt pad. I was not getting the resistance that I needed. But, i centered it and fixed it.. Maybe other machines will not come like this. But, this is a great buy. Well built bicycle.Gregory
They may seem minor to some but I didn't purchase the bike only to receive defective parts. First off, I received the shipment 2 days earlier than expected so I'm happy about that. It took me roughly 2 hours to assemble. The instructions were okay to follow, not very complicated. Moreover, after I finished assembling, I got on and didn't like the pedals too much so I unscrewed the part that goes around the toes. Now I can use it barefooted. Butttt, one of the screws wouldn't budge. I mean exactly what were they trying to do screwing it so tight that I ended up stripping the screw?! I'm just glad the other end of the strap was not attached. Hence I was able to take out the rest of it and left the little end piece. Another issue I have is the foam on the bar handle. It's kinda big deal to me because I can see it. It's right there in front of me. The foam at the top isn't fully pulled up so the gap annoys me. And lastly, I agree with the other people, the seat isn't very comfortable but it's bearable. Also, I noticed some minor dents on the cover of the wheel. Not a big deal because it's not very noticeable and it's out of my sight when I'm on it. But nevertheless, I love it! It's simple and functional. I could careless for the monitor not being all fancy. As long as it tells me the time, calories, and distance, then I'm good! I hope it'll last longer. P.s. I've attached a photo of the handle, and after taking out the strap of the left pedal.Ross
I have had this bike about a week and have put maybe 100 miles on it or a little more. This is a great exercise bike for the price. It was not hard to put together. It has a good solid frame and doesn't rock of wobble. I am about 160 pounds so can't speak to how it is with more weight than that. It is lacking some of the adjustments that more expensive exercise bikes have but does have height and forward / backward adjustment on the seat. It also does a good job at easily adding resistance to increase the difficulty of your workout. The computer is basic in that it includes current speed, time, calories burned and distance ridden. You reset for the next ride by holding the button down three seconds and all values return to zero. It does have a bit of a hum but if you are looking for a bike to sit on indoors and peddle to get some exercise or an inexpensive training bike for those rainy day, this just might be your bike. If I had paid $800 for it I might have given it a lower score but for $130 It gets 5 stars. If I had it do do all over again I would buy this same bike.Satisfied

An assault bike clone for $500? Seemed like a great deal! I thought this would be an upgrade to my Airdyne AD6, which I'm giving to my girlfriend. It's not! The welded seat post on my bike leans to the right, so rather than being in the center of the bike, the seat is about 1 inch right of center. It's noticeable and annoying when I'm using the bike. Also, the right linkage bearing (connection between the pedal and the linkage to the handle) is loose and makes a clicking sound. Hopefully it won't get looser with use. The computer is garbage. The hardware doesn't match what is called out in the assembly instructions. I don't have the energy to pack this beast up and return it to Walmart, so I'll keep it and hope for the best.Reed
First of all I am a six foot tall woman with bad knees and this adjusted easily to fit my height and is very easy on my joints as I can adjust the resistance to fit my needs. And I love the fact that it is so quiet I can’t even hear it; that was a bit of a surprise. I had low expectations for a spin bike that cost under $300 and it still has managed to be underwhelming. It was incredibly difficult to assemble, especially the part metal pieces that hold the seat. We ended up breaking the plastic piece that it slides into. Still, it was a cheap bike and it worked so we kept it. After only a couple of months the screws that hold the seat no longer hold it steady, the “computer” that comes with it is so cheap and poorly constructed the backing doesn’t even stay on. You get what you pay for but this is not even worth the 300 something I paid for. I purchased this a few months ago and have had less than 20 rides, doing standard spin class rides online. This bike is a piece of junk. I have spent hours trying to repair it, whether it was replacing the stripped crank or having to fix the belt on the inside of the bike. It is useless now, and cracks and creaks each time I ride it and it is not because I am too big for it. It is not a smooth ride whatsoever, and the resistance is essentially all or nothing. We like this. Pretty simple assembly; fiance and I got it together in about 15 minutes. I like the way they did the frame; they have bolts with square tops so they lock in place while tightening the nuts. If only we could get motivated to use it more often.I'm pretty tall and have long legs, so the elliptical radius could be a little longer, but it's not too bad. Just feels like I'm taking shorter steps than I'm used to. Because of this, I can tend to get it to wobble some if I get aggressive in my workout, since it's on carpet. I don't think it'd move at all if you install it on a flat surface. It's absolutely perfect for my 5' 6 love of my life, though. Good stride and super stable. We've both lost about 10 lbs since we got it 3 months ago.The display isn't flashy, but it provides a lot of info at a button press. It's quiet too, we watch netflix while we exercise, and my rowing machine is louder than this thing. You get a low hum but we didn't need to turn up the volume on the TV at all.

Bought a Snoozier Upright Bike which was delivered within 2 days. Assembly was simple. However, the bike had no resistance. This required me to disassemble the enclosure near the peddles (this part was assembled in factory). Customer service was responsive while I did this and asked questions. After fiddling with screws etc it became obvious that the adjustable part was set too far from the wheel that it rests against to provide tension. Aosom agreed to arrange for a Fedex pickup and a full refund so I am somewhat satisfied. The supplier though was deficient in its quality control which led to me wasting time and effort in trying to fix the problem they caused as well as disappointment that an otherwise sturdy and useful product did not work out.Fernando C
