Rain x automotive glass cleaner 23 fl oz. I have to admit that this stuff works really well, I'm always leary about glass cleaning products because no matter what you do you will always end up with streaks. To my surprise I did not get any with this rain x formula (its literally streak free). I had some dirt, dust, bug residue, etc on my windshield and it come right off, I used a microfiber towel instead of a paper towel, (Just what I prefer). This formula even removed tree sap (I mean come on), magic in a bottle. My husband's best friend smokes cigars on long family trips and I cannot wait to try this out next spring to the interior glass on smoke residue/film. And its also safe for vehicles that have tinted windows as well. I definitely found a new glass cleaner, no more windex and balled up newspaper for me. I love the fact that i know it wont hurt my tinted windows but it just doesnt seem to work as well cleaning windows as the non tint safe stuff. I usually just end up using this stuff on the inside where i have tint and then the usual stuff on the outside. For some reason it doesnt wipe away very easily compared to the regular non tint safe stuff. Probably has to do with the alcohol and or ammonia in it. It does clean the windows just fine it just requires alot more applications than the regular stuff. I still recommend it for tinted windows. Also this is Rain-x Brand but its not the Rain-x stuff that makes the water bead off your windows, its just glass cleaner.fallout125

Water marks and accidental finger prints go away after using this product with the waffle weave glass towel, the glass and mirrors look like they came out of a car wash machine. Combined with Griot's (and other) glass cleaning microfiber glass cleaning towels, the glass is steak and film free. It is streaky and cloudy. I have tried cleaning my microfiber towels and still the windows are horrible. I used Invisible Glass with same towels and the window look good. I have been cleaning the windows of my vehicles for "a few years", & have learned how to do so professionally. I prefer the glass on my vehicle to be spotless & streak free. I have used everything from a spray bottle of ammonia, to acetone out of the can to get that clear glass. To try this window cleaner from Rain-X, I of course read the directions, to be sure I get it the way they suggest. The instructions are easy: Spray, wipe buff. I will say that I have used Rain-X before, many, many years ago, & have been using their great wiper blades for some time. I wasn't impressed with the beading coverage of Rain-X at the time—Now? Yes, I am quite happy with the results. The windshield still has a "coated look" from inside, but isn't too bad. You are coating the glass with a "protectant". I have some pitch & sap from the pine trees on my windshield, so I sprayed it directly & let it sit a moment, as I went to the side windows. For overspray, I generally spray the cloth first, but have found that glass likes to be sprayed then wiped, which is what I did here. The Rain-X 2in1 did not do anything for the pitch or gunk streaks. It did cover the glass, with the "coating", & not look bad. This is the rainy season here, in WA, so getting a full day before it rains again, can be a challenge. I didn't see if I could cover the windshield with a blanket or such, so just left it alone & hoped for the best. As you can see, the end results are good. I only did one side of the windshield, to give a real time before & after look. You can see the close side beaded with the rain. Not quite a 5 star product in my opinion, but certainly good stuff. I have been doing vehicle cleaning for over 40 years. I used to be knind of a "celebrity" in the neighbourhood for how often and how clean my vehicles were. My brother bought Rain-X back in theearly 80s and applied it to the windshield of his car. It worked great even at speeds just barely above 50 km/hr. This product does a really good job of cleaning the glass but the rain repellant properties are sorely lacking. I have used another spray on cleaner, repellant that is available at Canadian Tire as well and it cleans just as good if not a bit better and the rain repellant is marginally better if at all. I applied the Rain X and ythe next day we had a light rain going to medium hvy a while later. Even at 60 km/hr the rain did not "bad up and roll off the windshield" and the first a next wipes of the wipers left a "haze" on the windshield that while not completely blurring the vision ( it was daylight and I know that haze makes night vision dangerous especially with opposing headlights particularly the after market LEDs. I followed the directions and the window had been clean of any remaining products or bugs etc. before I applied it. I even let it sit for a minute or two after I applied it before buffing it off TWICE and with new clothes each time. The actual Rain X that comes in a smaller bottle works better but I was hoping to save couple steps by using this ( and the other product). By the ay the wiper blades were raised off the window and cleaned before the product was applied and for an hour after. I am hoping that the Rain-X anti fog product works better as I plan on trying that as Fall's changing temperatures leaves condensation on the inside of the windshield at times.Zeek

I was very impressed with this product and I would highly recommend it to my family and friends I have used Rain-X products in the past but this one is outstanding. I applied the product once to clean the windshield and then apply the another time to get a second coat of products. I live in northern Utah area and we have had massive rain and snow storms the past week and this product has worked amazing. My only complaint would be that I wish you could use it on the internal Windows as well. It states on the can that you can only use it on external Windows only. And I understand why obviously you don't need to repel water on your inside windows and if you do you've got bigger problems. This product does not stink or have any sort of foul smell which is a plus. It's unbelievable how good it repels water off your windshield I've been in massive massive rainstorms this week and I literally don't even have to use my wiper blades on the highway. Why I liked it for that was because it only needs a few drops and wipe clean with microfibre cloth and if there is any residue it disappears and you can feel how clean they are under the cloth when wiping them. So then I migrated to vehicles. So the process for me with the vehicle is to clean the glass first with car wash and water in the normal way. Then use this stuff to really clean the windows. It probably cleans really dirty windows as well but the preferred method is to clean most of the dirt off first. Cannot find a better product and they are perhaps out there but it is going to have to be cheaper and better. A bottle lasts me at least 6 months and am on my 4 one or so.Kimchip

I had high hopes for this product. I thought I was getting something that would clean my windows while preventing water from leaving a film or streaks when it rains. But this product leaves smears and makes itself very visible. I haven't driven in the rain yet so I can't comment on its hydrophobic capabilities but I look forward to finding out. Definitely not worth $41, should be more like $25 tops. Does a fairly good job of cleaning, leaves a nice slick feeling on the glass indicating that the water repellence should be excellent. Water beads really well in the car park but that's where it ends, next to no repellency even at 100- 110 km/h. Product tried on 3 different vehicles with same results even applied to the shower screen same result water just sits on glass. All in all a very disappointing product for the price.Barry101

I have an '08 Sentra in the family that had badly fogged/yellowed headlights. I saw a YouTube video comparing various headlight renewing products including this one and it worked well on the vid and it was one of the least expensive ones so I tried it. However, I did buy a cheap pack of sponge pads for my electric drill and I used that for application and buffing. It worked incredibly well! The lenses were almost like new and it took be about 10 minutes to do including wiping up the spatter. So it was really quick and easy. I cannot comment on how it works with hand application but I'm sure it takes way more effort so I recommend the drill sponges. Sorry that I didn't think to take before and after pics but the difference was night and day.m.

3M 39017 Lens & Hard Plastic Cleaner – 8 oz is very easy to use and the results are amazing. I used a microfiber cloth to apply it to the headlights, waited about 7 minutes for it to dry to a haze and then wiped it off with a clean microfiber cloth and the headlights looked almost new. I wanted to see how clear I could get them so I repeated the process 2 more times and the second time provided a little more clarity and the 3rd time I didn't notice a significant difference. After using "3M 39017 Lens & Hard Plastic Cleaner – 8 oz" the directions say you can follow up with "3M 39010 Headlight Lens Polish and Protector Bottle – 8.0 oz" so I tried using the polish once. I think the polish may have made the lens a tiny bit clearer but the most significant and dramatic difference was achieved by just using the cleaner. So the polish doesn't hurt but I think the cleaner is all that is needed to get excellent results. As for putting a wax or sealer on afterwards, I didn't bother because I don't want to make an easy job difficult, by adding additional steps. Plus if the headlight lenses oxidize in a few months or a year later I wouldn't care since they were so easy to clean and the bottle of cleaner is still about 85% full, so I still have enough to last for ages.L.

Directions Directions: Wipe glass clean with Armor All Glass Wipes. Wipes will feel slightly dry to the touch. Repeat until steak-free. Use additional wipes if necessary. Let surface dry. Dispose of wipe in trash. Do not flush. For best results, use on cool, dry surfaces. Very hot or cold temperatures may affect performance. To Open Package: 1. I did not find this to be a particularly good product. While it removed the accumulated build-up on the internal glass, it left a residue which was hard to remove. It took nmore effort to remove this residue than it took to remove the original problem. I ended up needing to use glasses wipes to remove the residue from the glass.

I purchased glass wipes yesterday. I used them on the interior of my windshield in the parking lot of the store. On my drive home all I could see was a film and smears. When I got home I used them a second time and then had to go to bed. In the morning there was an even worse film smeared. When I stopped at work I opened the wipes and tried them one more time with the same results. Each time I made sure the windshield was in the shade and not in direct sun light to keep the temperature down. Will never buy again!!!bret

These are amazing for cleaning any mirrors or windows in your vehicles. There is nothing worse than wiping your mirrors or windows and then having streaks left behind! These are great for any screens in cars and cleaning the glass in your dash. Again no streaks is a huge plus for me!brooke.f
