I have a small male cat whose age was a little hard for myself and my local vet to pin down in his first few visits. It turns out that although my cat is awfully small, and despite him being cute to where my neighbors think he is a female, he is very much a full grown Tom Cat at this point. I sprayed the carpeted areas I knew for sure that he had targeted heavily and I even sprayed some onto a rag to wipe down nearby hard surfaces and walls that may have been caught in the crossfire. I kid you not it worked almost immediately. Even after initially spraying I smelled the horrendous cat spray stench after a panicked search I found a literal gooey sticky puddle of cat urine that had congealed *retch* under a glass vase. I sprayed the vase and washed it down, plus I sprayed the surface it was sitting on and wiped it clean ***.gone Perfect. All of the reviews that state this thing works are true. My teenagers were in charge of keeping the litterbox clean because we have two cats. They do an excellent job of keeping up with it in general. They did, however, become a touch sluggish over the break. I have a cat that my vet calls "the weirdest cat she's ever seen" in her 20 years of practice. Every three years, like clockwork, he has an episode that ends up with him peeing on the bed. This time it was so bad it actually soaked through the mattress protector. I had used the previous iteration of this product the last episode, and so tried this "new" version. Yes, when you open the bottle is smelled horrific. I literally gagged. But I had to get the urine out somehow so I took a chance. I discovered that once you pour it (in my case saturate the area on the mattress), something with the oxidation makes it smell like regular cleaner. It's strong at first, but then fades away. One thing I did differently this time that seemed to make the product work better is to follow their suggestion and after saturation, cover the area with a damp towel. Most importantly, it pulled out all the urine from my mattress and got rid of the smell. It does leave a little discoloration when poured on directly, but that doesn't bother me for the mattress. I also added it to the wash for the sheets/comforter, and it got the pee smell out and there wasn't any discoloration.kadc

This cat stain and odor eliminator is not as effective as their cat “no more spraying” and eliminates stains. In the white bottle. This is honestly the worst smelling product. I have a rescue dog that had an accident on an area rug. I purchased this to remove the odor. This left an overwhelming perfume scent in a not so good way. I ended up scrubbing my carpet after and used another enzyme product with no heavy smells and odor is now completely gone. My recently neutered cat had a urine accident in our living room carpet and overstuffed chair. The smell was so bad my eyes were watering and lots of sneezes. I called the vet and checked online, and your product kept coming up over and over. I purchased a bottle of the unscented and went to work. We pulled our 8 x 10 area carpet outside along with the chair. We vacuumed everything, and then sprayed the product heavily over both carpet and chair. My cat had missed her box in a storage room and as I tried to clean it up it spread underneath various storage containers. I washed the vinyl floor with vinegar and water twice without success. The maintenance person suggested this product. After taking everything out of the room I sprayed it heavily an d left it for 15 minutes and then dried it. I love Natures Miracle and it always comes highly recommended but the urine removes do not work and they are to strong of a smell. I purchased this product after the other 3 Natures Miracle Urine removers (Oxy and the red bottle) did not work, in hopes to eliminate the urine smell. My cat lost control of his bladder prior to passing away and left a mess about a year ago. I cleaned with the previous mentioned products from Natures Miracle, 6 months later we got 2 new cats and they are urinating in the exact spots of the old messes. I even purchased 2 automatic Natures Miracle litter boxes for multiple cats, along with cleaning the areas and yet they are still going in the house. I purchased the Urine Destroyer gallon, followed directions and despite the strong perfume smell, I could still smell the urine. I waited a few days, not letting the cats in the room, and the urine smell and perfume dissipated. After a week (no cats in the room) the urine smell returned. One of my cats snuck into the room and went straight to the same old spot and did his business. The enzymes did not remove the urine, even after I followed directions, and then doused the area again with the product to ensure the product got all the way to the padding and wood under the carpet. My household is busy, full of kids, dogs and constant traffic of everyone coming and going. Finding products that fit my lifestyle has been tough, aggravating, and frustrating. I was really excited to find biokleen and read about the actual science behind their products. I rolled up my sleeves and dove right into the worst room of our house- the dog room. As luck would have it, my son got a horrible bloody nose after this product arrived. I used it to spot treat the carpet from the trail he left through the house. It worked fantastic. I like the fact that I can pour it on the spot rather than having to spray and spray to cover the soiled area. It worked like magic getting all the blood out of our carpet. I’ve heard of this brand before but have never used it until now and wow, I’m impressed. It does an amazing job at removing stains and neutralizes odors. If you have kids & pets, you definitely need this. I have a Beagle who does have accidents from time to time especially when no one lets him out and he’s left by himself. I just blot up the mess (paper towels work best because I can just throw them away) then I squirt a decent amount on the stain and blot that up. The smell is gone and stays gone. I used this on my area rug and it didn’t stain or bleach it at all. It has a fresh lemon lime scent and it smells clean. So I was curious when it said this can be used for stains. I purchased this product because it was recommended by "Dr. Debra's" cat and dog information site as well as an infomercial. I decided to give it a try. I have many cats and I'm constantly cleaning the litter box. However, where my biggest concern was, are the trash cans in which I discard the litter. I wanted to make sure I gave it a chance before I wrote my review. My cat peed on my bed and it got thru my blanket, sheet, mattress topper and it got on my mattress. I washed everything else a few times and that took care of the smell on all of that but I couldn’t get the pee away from my mattress. It smelled at night and I couldn’t fall asleep and I tried every pet stain remover we had in our house. So I decided no harm in trying this… I used it for two days. Sprayed really close to the mattress and let it soak. Then I took a damp rag and scrubbed and did that about twice. The second day I just sprayed it and then an hour later I blow dried it to help it dry faster. It worked! I can’t smell the pee anymore (thank god) and I can finally sleep! Absolutely recommend this product.Kay
Well, it works! Usually I use natures miracle but it wasn’t actually cleaning my carpet that well and the smell was just insane after a while. A couple of minutes after scrubbing this into my carpet in some spots where my dog had marked hard, I didn’t think it was going to work and I could still smell the urine but after an hour of letting it air out, the stains were gone except one bad one (I’d expect that and will just try using this again in that spot more thoroughly as it was lightened back up by 50%) and the smell was gone and everything smelled good again. Took some elbow grease but it works well for bad pet stains and smells.Hannah
Omg!!! I’m impressed! My son and puppy marked their territory in a couple places in the house and we could never get the smell out. It was embarrassing and we haven’t had anybody over because of it. I saw this in Walmart and decided to try this since the other sprays didn’t work. I sprayed this on a spot and it has a strong lemon smell. I went back over there an hour later and I smell NOTHING. The formula worked wonders for our carpet. The smell was a bit strange, but it went away with time. The only complaint I have is that the vacuum's directions give an exact amount of the formula to use on carpet, but when you actually open the bottle, there are two lines in the cap. This would be super handy if there was a label somewhere which states how much liquid each line holds. Overall a great experience though!Shelby
The Pet Stain & Odor cleaner has a horrible, noxious, and extremely strong smell that was so bad that it made me cough and gave me a headache. If it made me feel that sick, I can't imagine how it would smell to a cat or a dog. It made my whole apartment smell like a floral drier sheet. I exchanged it for the antibacterial cleaner, which has a significantly lighter scent.Lauren
I have tried many different carpet cleaning agents in the past. Some have been very good but most have been lacking in results. They either required multiple cleanings to get good results or in spite of repeated cleanings, the results were still poor.
