I really love this cleaner, I got the lemon scent and it smells really great. I love that it doesn’t smell of chemicals. We have an elderly dog that sometimes has accidents on our wood floors (misses pee pads) and this cleaner is great at mopping that up. Unfortunately for the price I think the bottle is just too small. I use it nearly every day on my floors and this little bottle is not going to last a month. When I can buy a large bottle of vinegar for a few dollars I’m not sure I can justify spending $12 on something so small. If the bottle was larger or the price was cheaper I’d be buying this all the time. Plus the way my husband pours in cleaner, I nearly had a heart attack. I have light pine colored laminate flooring and everything I have used in the past has left a sticky residue or a streaky finish. This product did NOT leave a residue and left a shiny, clean (non-streaked) finish! I am so pleased! I had read some of the negative reviews about smell and am happy to report the only smell I could detect was fresh and clean (I bought the lemon kind!). I diluted 1 oz in 1 gallon of warm water and it made a wonderfully pleasing sudsy bucket of cleaner that dried quickly and to a perfect finish. By far the best price anywhere. Don’t know what’s going on with Lestoil but it has practically disappeared from grocery shelves. Even Walmart doesn’t stock it. For 5he last ten years we use it as a stain remover. Even grease stains embedded in the fabric through several washings disappear when sprayed directly on the spot and allowed to penetrate for a while. Prices on Amazon range from $10-$33 for 48 oz. I bought two 48oz bottles for less than $10 with free pickup at my local store. My mother used Lestoil for years on her linoleum floor. When my Armstrong floor started to yellow and get dark spots I tried Lestoil. It is the only thing that gets the dark spots out. It does have a stronger smell and I do rinse the floor after washing. I was very pleased with my results after using Zep No-Rinse Floor Disinfectant. I have tried numerous brands before, between the traditional floor cleaners and even the more organic types with no harsh chemicals. No matter how much or how little that I spent, everything that was used seemed to leave a residue where my feet always felt like they stuck to the floor. After one use of Zep, the floor never felt sticky! There was no harsh chemical smell and I didn’t have to use very much product with warm water for it to really clean my floor and actually leave it smelling clean! I have never tried this brand before now but I seriously cannot see myself switching! It just makes me so happy NOT hearing that sound my shoes make walking on sticky floors! Also, some of the other stronger floor cleaners made my dogs and cats throw up after using them. Their chemicals was so overwhelming that my babies got sick. With me having teenagers and a granddaughter, I am constantly trying to clean with products that rid of germs and viruses. This product is excellent. However, I used it at a much stronger strength. Probably would have worked with recommended ratio. I used 1 oz to about 1 quart of water. I also used a hard scrub brush. I wiped it up with towels. The results were amazing. Cleaned out of the little "pits" in my floor tile and the grout areas. I decided to try this product on the worst concrete stain I have. I have tried other products with no success. And, I might add, I was a bit skeptical that Goof Off would work since the application was so easy. On difficult stains you just shake the bottle, and pour it on the spot. You let it dry, then just sweep away the dried up solution which turns into a powder. I did not wear a mask while using this product , but would recommend doing so when you sweep up the dry powder residue. It's very thin and you could easily inhale it while cleaning up the area. There is no strong fume smell with this, but with any chemical product one has to use it with caution. So, I found my most difficult area, poured the Goof Off on the spot, and just did other chores. Later, at the end of the day I checked the area to find the dry powder residue. I swept it up and low and behold .. Goof Off does work! This is the cleanest I have ever got this area. Nothing worked before. I only used one application so I do plan on trying it again and on a larger area. I also have a spot on the driveway I want to try. I would definitely buy this product. The photo is of my garage floor where various liquids have been ground into the cement. What looks like a white cloud is where the Goof Off was poured then the dry powder swept away.Bartmas

This product is amazing and easy to use. After reading the other reviews I decided to use the full strength (after thoroughly shaking the bottles). I let it dry for 24 hours and then brushed off most of the powder residue and hosed it down. It didn't have strong fumes and it washed away easily. I was concerned it would bleach the concrete but it didn't. There are absolutely no traces of the oil stain and no traces of the cleaner. I highly recommend this product but strongly suggest using full strength and not diluted.Thomas Winters

I have an apartment building where leaking trash is carried down the stairs often. Bleach works some but after a year some of those stains desired to stay. Then I heard about this product. I poured it on around 10am and by 4pm I started sweeping it up stair by stair. It was extremely dusty but I had the entire stairwell blocked off. I did not dilute it any. Recently we ran out of the Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner and happened to get the new and improved version. Don't waste your money! It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! With the new and improved formula you are to use a damp mop which gets the floor too wet no matter how much you wring out the Bona microfiber mop, plus it still leaves the floor dull, streaked and sticky. I bought this cleaner to clean my tile floors because my understanding is that it’s a neutral cleaner. When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. What should have only taken the company a couple hours now will take the entire day. And I have to spend extra money to have the film removed. Directions Cleaner may dissolve protective coatings and sealers and may require refinishing. Test product for surface compatibility in an inconspicuous area, rinse and allow to dry before proceeding. Saturate plants, shrubs and grass adjacent to cleaning area with water before, during and after cleaning 1. Dilute product according to the dilution ratios listed below. 2. Apply with a mop, pressure washer or pump sprayer. Scrub using a floor machine or deck brush on concrete floors. 3. To prevent damage, allow contact time of no more than 10 minutes and do not allow to dry before rinsing. 4. Rinse thoroughly with water, using a mop and wringer or pressure washer. Some soils may penetrate concrete and become permanent stains. Dilution Ratios: Light Soils: Mix 6 oz. cleaner with 1 gallon of hot water for use on concrete, masonry and asphalt Medium Soils: Mix 12 oz. cleaner with 1 gallon of hot water for use on greasy concrete, masonry and asphalt. Heavy Soils: Mix 26 oz. cleaner with 1 gallon of hot water for use on greasy concrete and masonry, or increase up to 50/50 for difficult stains. Note: Avoid contact with painted and stained surfaces, aluminum, brass, chrome, copper and other alkaline sensitive surfaces, as damage may occur. Get medical attention immediately. Storage and disposal: keep container closed and stored in areas inaccessible to children and pets. Do not reuse container. I agree that this product does not work as expected. I tried it on concrete that had brake dust from where I wash my cars wheels and a few small oil stains. I spent an hour and scrubbed the whole driveway and the blue dish soap does a far better job. Almost NO results from this product that calls itself a concrete cleaner! I want my money back.Craig17

I sprayed it on our wet driveway straight. Let it sit, pushed the broom around on it a bit and washed it away. When it was wet I thought it hadn't worked, but when the driveway dried it looked great. Not spotless, and if you expect a spotless driveway you will need to hire the pros, spend a lot more and still aren't guaranteed spotless.LadyK

Directions Directions: Simply squirt onto floor. Spread with a clean, freshly rinsed microfiber mop or sponge mop. Rinse and wring mop pad to free dirt as you clean. Keep floors looking new by using at least once a week. Hint: If your floor has lost its original shine, apply Quick Shine Floor Finish to protect and add a durable high gloss. Maintain the Quick Shine finish by using Quick Shine Floor Cleaners. I purchased this product in the hopes that I would be able to get a bit more of a shine on my laminate floors. It says it is used on several surfaces including laminate wood. I followed the directions and I even did it twice thinking maybe the first time it was to clean and maybe the second time would come the shine. Clean is was! Very clean! Shine – none. It now is on the shelf with products I probably won't use again unless I am in a pinch. You win some and and you lose some!Wayne L
