I have a pressure washer and it works fine. Taking it out of storage, extension cords, hooking up the long hose, pouring in the liquid cleaner, well it's not too much to ask, but if I can avoid it, that's a welcome break. Two years ago, I shredded my screens with the pressure washer, so I still have a hate-hate relationship with my PW. So I have this bottle of Scott's House & Siding Zero Scrub that says it reaches the second floor and that's another plus. There is not enough pressure in a PW to apply pressure enough for the second floor without a ladder. The Scott's bottle is not a big, heavy load; it's concentrated. All you have to do is attach it to the hose and fire away. You just need to spray the surface uniformly wet and move on. I think you are wasting your Zero Scrub if you try to blast away until it looks good. Ok. I did two sides of my 2-story with one bottle. I tossed the bottle in my recycling bin and did the walk-around inspection. I must admit I wasn't quite bowled over. Thers still was quite a bit of algae or whatever that green stuff is. I thought maybe I did something wrong. I went back to the recycle bin and retrieved the bottle and read that it continues to work for as much as two or three days, as I remember it. Sure enough in two days, I was pleased with the job, no sign of green algae and I really do appreciate the work and effort and damage saved by not using my pressure washer.GIJoe
Scotts® Outdoor Cleaner House & Siding with ZeroScrub™ Technology Was something we got to help us remove moss from certain areas of our home before the settling winter. I must say we did get this in the middle of fall weather where it rains in the northwest. You essentially need a dry day and surface for this to take effect. We finally found a good two or three days of dry weather and sun so we applied it to remove moss on our cement patio and our siding. The solution was easy to apply either with the help of the hose or pressure washer as it’s easy to connect. We made sure to remove all patio furniture and follow directions. One things that make me nervous about using this continuously are all the cautions for touching this solution, unrepairable eye damage if put in contact with it, and making sure to not leave the solution soaking in the grass. It seems like there are many cautions that a mistake may be bound to happen when using this over time. The results were great and it did remove moss from our patio with just a one time spray and saved us time. The siding area we did under our window worked well too. It was very easy to apply and we noticed a huge difference in our siding in comparison to other areas. I’m we are happy with the results, but the cautions seem like many I would not want to be encounter; thus, it is important to wear eyes protection and gloves. I think some rebound spray would be hard to avoid in you choose to spray this high on a two story home from the floor along the sides where there is only 5 feet distance from the gate. I would not use this solution if there is a chance that rebound spray would hit my skin/eyes. Make sure you can stand far away to avoid that. For future cleaning, we may only use this sparingly in tough moss covered areas where we can get clearance from any solution spray. Overall, we were happy with the final results.Crystalpower
I love this house and siding cleaner! First things first, this stuff is high quality. The cleaner works so, so well. I can tell it's a high quality product because of how well it works. Applying the spray is really easy too. All you do is attach the bottle to your garden hose, and point and spray it at your house/siding. This works really well on pretty much any surface! The instructions for the cleaning process were thorough and very easy to understand. The unit was easy to put together onto my hose so that I could quickly get started. I started with rinsing the house and was pleasantly surprised at the force and distance of the sprayer. It’s shot straight out with a good force and remove dirt that I had not even seen on the side of my house and which is a wood material on my back patio. The unit with the cleaning solution was not heavy so it was easy to lift and point the spray into crevices that were higher up. I was surprised with the amount of dirt that it was removing. After the initial rinse, I moved on to using the cleaner. It was very easy to turn the knob on the unit to get to the rinse cycle and begin. There was not a strong chemical smell and you can tell there was some product in there as it produced suds on the side of the house. At this point, I did not see any difference from the rinse cycle on my house. And after the cleaning process, I let it sit for two minutes without drying. I did have to rush a couple of areas to get some dirt that was not moving and then I rinsed again. I didn’t see any noticeable difference after the chemical rinse that I didn’t notice after the first initial water rinse. Next time moved onto the windows. Again, I was most impressed with the sprayer and the ability to knock debris down easily. I moved onto rinse number to him and really did not notice anything monumentally different than I did after the initial rinse. I was pleased that it dry in a streak free, which I had been most concerned about. Overall, my favorite part of this unit was the force and power of the sprayer and the ease of use. I liked that I didn’t have to pull any triggers to cramp my hand. I just never saw any noticeable difference between the initial rinsing and using the cleaning products. The dirt that was still visible after the rents had to be scrubbed off with a brush and was not removed with the cleaner alone. It was nice and convenient to not have to have multiple bottles of cleaning products for two different jobs and it was nice to have the sprayer easily connected to the cleaner. I am sure a lot more as well, as I continue my cleaning. This product can be applied with a tank sprayer, power washer, or with a bucket. Just dilute with water per directions. This cleaner has a foaming action that seems to work on contact. I applied the cleaner, let it set for a few minutes, scrub and rinse. Easy to use and safe around plants and grasses. I am having good luck with this cleaner. So far I have cleaned my sidewalk to my porch as well. I am sure I will be purchasing more in the near future. It has a pleasant fragrance which I love. Purchased smaller bottles found at Big Lots and used. Had to get really close to the siding to leverage pressure from hose to remove dirt from siding. Used a LOT of water. Could not tell if solution was actually mixing with the water. Siding appeared much cleaner than expected after it dried. Product seems to work while drying. Heavier soiled areas were tougher. Could not reach upper levels that were soiled. Pressure wasn't strong enough to remove dirt even while standing on ladder. You MUST wear protective glasses, hat and clothes that will get very wet. All in all, product "worked", but not as advertised. There is no "spray on and dirt comes right off". You could probably just use a power washer and get the same results if not better. results.housecleaner28
I bought this product this week to use on my house which proved to be a mistake. All I got out of it was a waste of time, money & water. The only was this product does any dirt removal is with a stiff bristle brush and elbow grease. It does reach up to the roof area but that's the hose pressure, Nothing that the Clorox bottle has to do with. It doesn't hurt plants or lawn, That's because it can't even clean vinyl.. The only real cleaning that I saw was the hose pressure removing ground level loose dirt. We've used other products each year and never had these poor results. I bought this today from Lowes; they offered several different brands of cleaners but I chose clorox brand due to the name. Following the directions exactly, I rinsed the side of the house as directed, then sprayed the product and waited the minute and then rinsed. Not one bit of dirt or mold on the siding was removed! I repeated the steps and let the product sit for five minutes, and again no noticeable improvement. This is complete garbage. Now I have to head back to Lowes and get my money back.Ken1234

First I hooked up the hose and when I turned on the faucet water was spraying out if the section between the hose connector and the sprayer. The hose was hooked in fine. It was like the housing was cracked. Thus I could not use it as intended. I went to a standard garden sprayer and mixed the solution 50/50 with water and used as instructed; sprayed ii on, waited 15 mins, scrubbed lightly with a brush, and runsed off. It did remove mold and mildew on my synthetic decking. I ran out of this solution about 3/4 of the way through the job so I tried a 50/50 bleach and water on a different section using the same process. It came out the same. I would say bleach and water with your own garden sprayer is a better way to go.bruced4444
The product was unable to be sprayed from the standing position on the lawn. A ladder was necessary to spray the product on the house. Where did the appropriate time using the rinsing method included with the product it wasnt working. I had to use a pressure washer and get up on a ladder. Worked like a charm. I'm guessing the only way someone would be disappointed is if they did not follow the directions. Mixed it as directed and sprayed it on with a good garden sprayer – wet it good. I have been using Jomax for many years. It is one of the only products that you can blend with bleach. I make the mixture per the directions on the side and use a garden sprayer to apply it to what ever I am cleaning. I use pressurized water (not a pressure washer) to wash the dirt, mold and stains off after letting the blend stay on the surfaces. Rarely do I have to use a brush. Maybe another light application of the mixture if an area was real bad. I have used it on brick, metal, vinyl siding, wood siding, patio furniture, decks and concrete. Very happy customer!Brent

1st let me say….I read and followed the instructions….2nd, I have HardyPlank siding. It kinda works…but on the textured siding, you really need to scrub. It kinda reaches second floor but not all the way to peak. It kinda covers the sq footage but plan on buying refill and needing it all to do 4 sides of your house.shawn
What an awful design! First, the product inside the spray bottle works great. Smells like bleach, stings like bleach, and ruins your clothes like bleach, when trying to use the spray bottle. So empty the contents into a tank sprayer, and throw away the container, or just start with much cheaper bleach. Note to the product development wizards: move the water on on off switch to the water input side. Leave the output side for spray and rinse only. As you have implemented this, we must move through rinse to off with a difficult to turn knob. Poor design.BleachedPants

Initially I purchased Mold E-Z House Wash to use with my electric Power Washer! However, even though my power washer/Mold Armor E-Z did a nice job, it used more of this product than I expected/wanted, and I changed my methodology as follows: I decided to put Mold E-Z House Wash into a empty 32 OZ plastic bottle of Glass Cleaner with an adjustable nozzle, and sprayed it onto our homes vinyl siding, shutter's, and fences! Very slow acting product. I diluted per the directions and soaked down some moss on a shaded part of my exposed aggregate driveway. Next day the moss had changed from green to chocolate brown. Two weeks later it is still the same. Not breaking down. The instructions say it could be months and require a second application. I should have just spent an hour and removed the moss with my pressure washer. Would have been cheaper and a lot quicker..GarnG
I bought 1 gallon jugs of Wet and Forget for outside as well as a gallon jug of Wet and Forget Shower. I was astounded at the job it did on my outside metal awning; it was pretty green with algae. I sprayed on Wet and Forget on Wednesday afternoon. This afternoon (Friday) I rinsed the awning with the hose. The algae was totally gone! The Wet and Forget for the shower also did a fabulous job. I have been using Wet and Forget since 2003. Our previous house was a northern exposure in a heavily treed area so I would get dark stains on the roof and mold on the siding. Doing roofing in college I knew that using a pressure washer on asphalt shingles was a no go because you would blow off the protective cinders. I tried bleach and other so called "house cleaners" but the stains came back and I was concerned about my plants. I stumbled across this and it works great, just spray on a cool day so it doesn't dry quickly and leave alone. DO NOT RINSE!!!. I have used it in a pump sprayer on roofing, siding, decks, wood fencing, sidewalks and it gets off the green and black mold in a couple of days and lasts years. I have neighbors who pressure wash their sidewalks every year while I have only applied it twice in the 5 years we have lived here and mine looks better than theirs. The great part of this product is that it won't burn grass or damage shrubs and bushes and is safe for wildlife. I can't stress how good this stuff works with much less work, I recommend it to everybody. but read the instructions and do not rinse.Curt

My wooden patio was covered in mold and mildew from the cold winter months and I sprayed the entire patio and ledges with this spray and like magic after it rained, the stains were gone. Rust Aid is the only thing that takes the well water rust from my sidewalks and house siding. My water is so bad I have to spray Rust Aid on three times from May to September and the results are amazing. The rust disappears right before my eyes. The bottle says to spray full strength, but experimenting I've found I can use two parts Rust Aid to one part water, and it still does a great job.Ron
I wish the product stated that it does NOT remove rust stains caused from iron/metals. I'm sure it probably works great on fertilizer/chemical rust stains, but my rust is a result of my patio chair legs. The leg tips wore down so it was just metal against concrete. Add some water, and it's rustland in the center of my patio. I tried this product on 2 of the stains – luckily I tried it on a relatively small area – and all it did was bleached out the concrete and left a bright white spot about the size of a ping pong racket, and the rust stain did not budge. in fact, it highlighted the stain because now the stain is in the white spot. I don't even know who I can give this to because I don't want it in my house. I'll probably just leave it out with the trash in case anyone wants it because I don't think I can send it back.Fromadistance

I am sure a lot more as well, as I continue my cleaning. This product can be applied with a tank sprayer, power washer, or with a bucket. Just dilute with water per directions. This cleaner has a foaming action that seems to work on contact. I applied the cleaner, let it set for a few minutes, scrub and rinse. Easy to use and safe around plants and grasses. I am having good luck with this cleaner. So far I have cleaned my sidewalk to my porch as well. I am sure I will be purchasing more in the near future. It has a pleasant fragrance which I love.
