One gallon actually makes up to 20 gallons when you place the siphoning tube into a diluted mixture or pour the diluted mixture into an onboard detergent tank, depending on the style of your pressure washer. I just finished power washing my entire deck using this Kärcher – All Purpose Detergent 1 Gal. 20x Formula. I followed the directions for mixing and used the sweep sprayer on my power washer and I couldn't be happier. Difficult to figure out a couple things on first try. The instructions do not make clear that you spray under low pressure using the Gun only and then remove the detergent container and install the high pressure spray attachment.Second, I could not determine how to start the pump so I called your help number and told your agent that the only possible start accessory was the small, rubber/plastic buttons at the top of the sprayer. The agent said that that was no longer in use but could not help me.I continued to check the Electrical components from the GFCI wall fixture to the pump and could not find a problem. I even purchased a Voltage detector for $18.00 to test everything which verified that there was no problem from the GFCI outlet to the Pump. At this point, I called your number for help again and this time I was told to push the rubber covered buttons which of course solved my problem of starting.Finally, I think the detergent container is too small even though I remove it while spraying off the detergent/water mix. Also, there is some leakage from the plastic threads while spraying the detergent even though I tightened as much as I could.The method of spraying while bypassing the pump with the detergent is Great! I have used this for over 3 years after doing my first engine swap. I also found out that it works incredibly well in removing black streaks from vinyl coated aluminum RV exteriors. Just spray on a rag or directly on the surface, but be sure to wipe off immediately. Black streaks disappeared with no great amount of elbow grease. Not sure of the effectiveness with fiberglass RV's, but save yourself a ton of money with the specialty RV streak removers and get this instead. The person who washes my RV was amazed at how well and easily it worked on black streaks that had been accumulating for 2 years. Oh and it's a great degreaser as well, lol.Barre
Bought this on a recommendation for a filthy range hood (the people who lived in our place before must have NEVER cleaned it). This worked great and wiped off the years of grease pretty easily. Just spray on a rag or directly on the surface, but be sure to wipe off immediately. Black streaks disappeared with no great amount of elbow grease. Not sure of the effectiveness with fiberglass RV's, but save yourself a ton of money with the specialty RV streak removers and get this instead. Bought this on a recommendation for a filthy range hood (the people who lived in our place before must have NEVER cleaned it). This worked great and wiped off the years of grease pretty easily. It doesn’t look new, but now it looks clean! Sprayed directly on the filters scrubbed lightly annd rinsed. I picked this up because of all the great reviews but I found that I don't share the same feelings. The kid grabbed a hold of the bottle while helping me out and sprayed the car windows. That was in March. It's now August and I still can't get the crap off! I've even brought it to a full service car wash and tried to see if they could clean it off. bleach free. Easier on my allergies. I also like the fact it is multi purpose. It can be used on wood, cement, stone, vinyl, terra cotta pots and patio furniture. I am sure a lot more as well, as I continue my cleaning. This product can be applied with a tank sprayer, power washer, or with a bucket. Just dilute with water per directions. This cleaner has a foaming action that seems to work on contact. I applied the cleaner, let it set for a few minutes, scrub and rinse. Easy to use and safe around plants and grasses. I am having good luck with this cleaner. So far I have cleaned my sidewalk to my porch as well. I am sure I will be purchasing more in the near future. It has a pleasant fragrance which I love. Spring is just around the corner and I cannot wait to start cleaning up my patio area for all the BBQ's this coming year! I have a concrete slab, very big, and it tends to turn dark and spotty throughout the year with rain, snow, ice, dirt and whatever. I thought it would be easier to move around…back and forth; it can be dragged with some effort but pushing is difficult. Also, using one extender rod is too short and two are too many…hard to move or control with two. Too much bending with one. I really thought it would glide around on the pavers with light effort since it has all the water pressure coming out inside, but it is not easy. I found using my cone shaped regular nozzle did the job with a lot less effort. A very conditional recommendation. a young or strong hand is required if doing pavers..smoothie36

First I hooked up the hose and when I turned on the faucet water was spraying out if the section between the hose connector and the sprayer. The hose was hooked in fine. It was like the housing was cracked. Thus I could not use it as intended. I went to a standard garden sprayer and mixed the solution 50/50 with water and used as instructed; sprayed ii on, waited 15 mins, scrubbed lightly with a brush, and runsed off. It did remove mold and mildew on my synthetic decking. I ran out of this solution about 3/4 of the way through the job so I tried a 50/50 bleach and water on a different section using the same process. It came out the same. I would say bleach and water with your own garden sprayer is a better way to go.bruced4444
The product was unable to be sprayed from the standing position on the lawn. A ladder was necessary to spray the product on the house. Where did the appropriate time using the rinsing method included with the product it wasnt working. I had to use a pressure washer and get up on a ladder. Now Im not saying I didnt have a lot of mold on my house but the product didnt work from the ground and it certainly wasnt able to be rinsed from the ground eitherrocket-773475

This is a great surface cleaner for my electric pressure washer. I've used it on both wooden and concrete decks and it's worked perfectly on every occasion. There's enough pressure to clean without damaging the wooden decks. Just make sure you keep it moving. Don't let it sit there in one spot without moving it. I liked that this surface cleaner doesn't spread the dirty water onto the walls or glass panels of our glass deck railings, unlike using a stream to pressure wash the decks. Add to that the fact that my cleaning time for the decks has been easily cut by 2/3 if not more. You'll still need to use the normal stream to get into the corners but this makes cleaning big, open areas a breeze. I've used it four times on large decks and I'm very happy with this surface cleaner.Ron L

Pressure cleaning my concrete flatwork has always been a difficult, tedious and time consuming burdensome task. I obtained the Karcher 15" Surface Cleaner in the hope that it would reduce the time and effort required. The Karcher 15” Surface Cleaner proved its worth! The Karcher 15” Surface Cleaner is constructed of a plastic housing with replaceable brush bristle type splash guard skirt that confines the spray to the body of the surface cleaner (hover-cover). Underneath, there are two nozzles mounted to a metal, rotating fixture. The top mechanical assembly for attaching the pressure washer lance is solid brass. It is equipped with a standard ¼” quick-connect fitting for the lance, and it freely rotates for elevation angle. Overall the quality of the Karcher Surface Cleaner appears to be very good. When the algae growth on my concrete driveway gets terribly bad, only the use of a turbo-nozzle will remove it. When the staining is not at its worst, the 15° or 25° pressure tips will do a decent job of removal. However, using either a turbo-nozzle or pressure tip on the large driveway, sidewalk and front walk requires a full day of very hard work. At this time, the algae growth was at a moderate level which would have required about five hours of effort just for the driveway. Once I attached the Karcher 15” Surface Cleaner to the lance and tackled the driveway I was really pleased. The Karcher 15” Surface Cleaner was more effective than a 15° pressure tip, and incredibly faster and easier. Working at the appropriate speed to allow the Karcher Surface Cleaner to do its job properly and effectively, the driveway was finished in less than two hours. This was less than half the time that would have otherwise been required, and with far less effort and back strain. I am very pleased and satisfied with the performance of the Karcher 15” Surface Cleaner, and I am glad to have this time saving and effort reducing accessory.Curmudgeon
Upon first glance, I thought this wouldn't work well but being from Karcher I had hope after all these are the #1 name in pressure washing so I had faith their product would work. And it does! Works well in fact, I thought that it would be hard to move along the concrete but it really isn't that hard, its very manageable. The washer did a great job after my initial learning curve. The only trouble I saw was the fact that as the spinner spins it creates a line on both sides of the washer that has more dwell time so it is prone to tiger striping, but during the initial learning curve, I learned to deal with that and my driveway came out looking very good and bright white, with a few stripes. The secret is go slower. The other issue was that it doesn't remove the dirt it loosens it up so as I was cleaning the driveway I would do a section then disconnect the attachment and spray the already completed section down with the actual pressure washer, that was quick and easy just really chasing the loose dirt off the clean section. For what I paid I am very satisfied and would recommend this product. Honestly, I can't think of any cons to this product, very simple and effective, would be nice if it had wheels instead of brushes but then again I didn't want to pay 150 bucks for one.Frank B.
I bought this a few days ago and cleaned a large area of concrete pavers with it on a generic 5.5hp pressure pump. I've cleaned these pavers before with a wand and turbo head and this is good too. However the Karcher is more even in its clean (not so many streak lines) and much easier on my back. You also don't get much water and dirt blown up as the bristle skirt contains it all. It is quicker than the turbo head also. You'll still need a turbo head to clean the edge of a surface that abuts a wall as the Karcher leaves about an inch uncleaned. Cleaner, quicker and easier. Worth the money in my view.Rob
