Don't get me wrong. I love Rain-X products. With that said, I've been having fits trying to find a good cleaner/protectant for my shower glass doors. I occasionally use the window protectant in the spray bottle. However, I still have hard spots (and probably etching). Was hoping this would help with those. It didn't. This is the second paste that didn't get the job done (also tried the diamond one to no avail). They're all messy and require a significant amount of work to utilize as you put it on and then have to rinse it off. I'm going to stay away from them moving forward….just not worth it.William

This is the only cleaner that has successfully removed deep stains in my shower grout. The bleachy cleaners did not work and they stunk up my bathroom (and my towels). The steamer required a lot sweat, left me with a basket full of soggy towels, and still couldnt wet get the stubborn stains out. Then I stumbled upon Wet and Forget on a YouTube of all places. Functionally this product works very well. We are on the second bottle. Their web site implies a long hose allowing one to keep the container on the floor while spraying but that is not the reality as you need to hold the container in one hand while spraying. If the sprayer hung down it dripped the solution on the floor after using.
The second container now has an on/off valve in the cap that the first container did not have. Is it a safety feature or to prevent dripping? With the on/off valve added, a pause is needed after each spray to allow the solution to fill the sprayer to get a full spray. If the spray is pulled too fast, only a small amount of solution is sprayed taking twice as long to cover an area. To get a full spray you squeeze, pause, squeeze, pause. Did the company really test the added on/off valve as it appears to be restricting the flow to the sprayer. Fortunately I had the first container and switched the spray/hose assembly to the new container to solve the need to pause between sprays.
Sure hope the company can fix the new spray issue being experienced and solved by using the old spray assembly.
A real product improvement would be to have a place to store the spray assembly between applications.Carroll Dudley

I just received this cleaner a couple of days ago and have only used it a couple of times. It does a good job, but to be honest it does the same job as pretty much any other multi-surface cleaner I have used. Clean scent, does not leave any kind of residue on the surface. Not overly impressed with the glass cleaner portion of this product, it did leave some spots and I had to go over it a second time. As a surface cleaner, so far it has performed well. If you are looking for something that will get rid of tough stains, like Kool-aid etc…, then this product isn't for you. I purchased this due to the smell of other glass cleaners being too strong. The first time I used it, it left streaks. I found that if you use a microfiber cloth to dry off, you won't see streaks. We used Dulles Glass for shower doors and several tailor-cut pieces of glass for window boxes. Perfect cuts, quick service, pricey, but you get what you pay for and it's great. Now, about that expensive ClearShield After Care product ($40/500 ml). It's pricey and there's a particular scare tactic that if you use ANYTHING ELSE on your expensive, ClearShield-coated shower doors, you void whatever warranty you might have had on them. To me, the cleaning product isn't all that. Leave it on for 5 seconds or 5 minutes (as reco'd in its instructions) there is still an icky film on your glass, especially toward the bottom. Also, there's no indication of whether this very product is responsible for degrading the silicon around the bottom edges and/or causing one of the installed screws to rust. DullesGlass replaced that bracket but they were careful to give me stern warning to not use ANYTHING ELSE but this expensive product on the ClearShield doors. Use it or not, but factor in a $40 cleaning product every 3 months or so when you consider ClearShield doors. Or use Softscrub, or vinegar and baking soda like the little people.Mitch

Don't get me wrong. I love Rain-X products. With that said, I've been having fits trying to find a good cleaner/protectant for my shower glass doors. I occasionally use the window protectant in the spray bottle. However, I still have hard spots (and probably etching). Was hoping this would help with those. It didn't. This is the second paste that didn't get the job done (also tried the diamond one to no avail). They're all messy and require a significant amount of work to utilize as you put it on and then have to rinse it off. I'm going to stay away from them moving forward….just not worth it.William

I have a double set of glass doors in my shower and I have tried everything you can think of to clean off the hard water stains-vinegar, various other cleaning products, you name it and I tried it. I first purchased the lemon verbena scent & did not care for it BUT it cleaned my porous tubs & showers (they're the builder grade insert kind) great! I've searched forever for something that would deep clean these surfaces! I have just about tried everything to get a deep clean w/o wearing my arms off in the process. With this I spray all over, use the 'rough' side of the sponge & let it sit while I clean the rest of the bathroom then rinse. I have noticed when I first started using it too that those really suborn stains wouldn't come out. So off the bat I was disappointed until someone had taken a shower, the dirt that was "stuck" gets rinsed away with that running water & the shower gets cleaned as you clean yourself! I've never come across a cleaner like this before. The lavender is AMAZING smelling too!!! I am sensitive to certain smells & lavender is one of them which is why I first purchased the lemon, I am SO in love with the lavender!!! I clean homes and business and I have used pretty much every cleaning product I've come across with many mixed results. All the products promise great results and not all of them deliver on said promise. The works line of cleaning products absolutely work wonders on lime, rust stains and nasty build up with little effort after application. I have cleaned some pretty rough bathtubs and sinks that had really bad stains from hard water or rust and after using other products the stains were mostly still there even After using a stiff brush and lots of work. I like that the works only needs to be sprayed on and let sit for a few minutes to dissolve the stains. It literally turns the rock hard build up to a slime that can be wiped or rinsed away. It is a very strong chemical smell, but it's worth using once in a while for when there is build up. I don't use it every time I clean but I use it every now and then to reduce the build up. The works also makes a toilet bowl cleaner that works the same. I have seen toilets and tubs so bad it seemed like there was no hope for ever removing all the stains and after the works they are totally free from the yucky stains. Most cleaning products can't remove hard water and lime scale like the works. The only draw back is the very strong smell and it's not pleasant but I can deal with it because it doesn't need to be used a lot and once every few weeks of use isn't bad. I hate scrubbing stains so this is great for me. Spray it on and leave the room for a few and wipe it away and the stains are gone. O wouldn't recommend standing over the product while it sits because it probably isn't good for the lungs! I don't mind using it but some people can't get past the smell but I think the stuff in it that smells bad is what works so well. You have to pick and choose your battles with cleaning products! **The Works Tub & Shower Cleaner **is one product that I really wanted to work. The manufacturer claims this product 'removes stubborn rust stains; mineral deposits and soap scum in the bathroom'. The 'unique formulation is suppose to work great on showers, tubs, sinks, stainless steel and shower doors.' I agree that The Works can do an adequate job on lightly soiled items. Our tub has always been difficult in removing the ring after bathing. I didn't need a cleanser for a light job. Have so many products that can acheive this. The Works also list a long list of precautions on the back of the label..such as but not limited to not mixing with bleach or other household chemicals. It is bad for your eyes and you must definitely keep out of reach of children. Being that this product did not acheive even mediocre results, I do not recommend. I will not be buying again. I was hoping it would serve more than that purpose though and initially used it to deep clean my shower. I was satisfied with the results but other cleaners I've used for years worked better and were easier to remove build up with. It is just intended for daily upkeep I believe, not necessarily to deep clean your shower. I bought this product as a daily cleaner without wipe it off. It did not work as expected, it leaves awful streak on my glass shower and it is very noticeable. I've tried many products to remove the soap scum from the marble shower walls. Marble is a soft stone and sensitive to low pH. Many cleaners warn not to put the product on stone. Well. This Rejuvenate really does the job without damaging the marble! I first tried it on a single column of tiles what WERE so scummy that there was no shine to the surface. Hmmm, pretty good. After a second application, WOW. Nearly as shiny as the new tiles at the top of the shower. So I treated the whole shower and vinyl shower curtain. Wonderful results. To speed things up (this layer of scum was pretty thick), I used a net scrubby over the worst areas near the bottom of the shower walls. After thorough rinsing I have applied a protective product to help keep the scum at bay. Looks nearly new again. To be honest, the shower curtain had some dark mold stains that lightened, but were still visible. Probably will need to wash with some bleach to eliminate those stains. We ordered this from another site but I found it on here! Yay!!!! Seriously never ever had such a great cleaner with absolutely no scrubbing. We use the lavender one only, but my husband didn't & never does trust natural cleaners until we got this! We'd tried sooo many products as when we moved into our home our shower was just gross! We tried everything even scrapping with a razor blade on our glass doors & ithey just wouldn't come clean as well as our shower had a film we just couldn't get off! Every cleaner, even Pinterest ideas didn't work. We thought we was going to just have to buy an entirely new shower insert & new doors! Praise God I came across this & figured I'd let him give it a try as I'm disabled with an extremely rare spinal cord disease so I'm unable to clean nor do much of anything anymore. No kidding he came to me after he cleaned the shower without me knowing while I was on the phone with my mom. He said "ok u know I don't ever believe in the poop u usually buy like this, but holy poop this stuff works like magic! Get online & buy as much as u can of this stuff before they don't carry it anymore!!!" My mom & I was cracking up laughing as he was completely serious! I couldn't believe it, we now have a shower that's like brand new! That $5 saved us from hundreds of dollars & lots of cussing while he would've been taking out & putting in a new entire shower! Ever since multiple people have bought this as they'd seen our shower before & now! I'm glad I found it on another site that doesn't charge a yearly fee. Again we've never tried another scent in this exact shower product as the lavender worked so great! Meyer products are now in our household & love the geranium scent & my absolute favorite is honeysuckle. Again with the shower product though, we'll stick with lavender as it's truly amazing! My husband works in a rock quarry, and we have 6 kids…. no matter how hard I scrubbed, this didn't get everything cleaned. I'm used to using comet and scrubbing bubbles, so maybe I'm just used to abrasive cleaners in my shower. That aside, I bought the lemon scented and it smells like stale urine. I've tried many products to remove the soap scum from the marble shower walls. Marble is a soft stone and sensitive to low pH. Many cleaners warn not to put the product on stone. Well. This Rejuvenate really does the job without damaging the marble! I first tried it on a single column of tiles what WERE so scummy that there was no shine to the surface. Hmmm, pretty good. After a second application, WOW. Nearly as shiny as the new tiles at the top of the shower. So I treated the whole shower and vinyl shower curtain. Wonderful results. To speed things up (this layer of scum was pretty thick), I used a net scrubby over the worst areas near the bottom of the shower walls. After thorough rinsing I have applied a protective product to help keep the scum at bay. Looks nearly new again. To be honest, the shower curtain had some dark mold stains that lightened, but were still visible. Probably will need to wash with some bleach to eliminate those stains. YES to using Rejuvenate on scummy showers!J.M. Willingham

Pleasantly scented enzyme cleaner that works. I tried it all and this is the best cleaner on showers and glass doors with buildup. Shower cleaning now takes minutes. I spent an hour on shower doors before, relentlessly scrubbing. The vinegar solution was smelly and not effective. I have my own cleaning business and need products that work and save time. I wish I had the photo, but the shower door was encrusted at the bottom 6 inches. I had to try the Method Glass Cleaner on my front glass door before I even unpacked my Grove box. I have been so exasperated by major corporations who claim they have a "streak-free shine", what did I have to lose? Plus the discount spurred me on. Method Glass Cleaner worked great! No streaks! I learned about Method Glass + Surface Cleaner after reading a Consumer Reports article on glass cleaners. They rated it the best. So, I decided to try it. Our windows were way overdue for a cleaning. This glass cleaner got the windows clean and streak-free. So clean that the garage windows look like there are no glass panes there during a certain time of day. Previous glass cleaners always left our windows with streaks. Happy that this one does not. It also removed insects parts, pollen, and the like (we live in the woods). The waterfall scent is a little overpowering for my nose. Which means I will try another scent. Another reviewer gave the product one star because it did not remove grease from her eyeglasses. In fairness to the product, the manufacturer clearly states that the glass cleaner is for counters, tiles, granite, mirrors, and Windows. No where does the manufacturer claim the product should be used on eyeglasses. Today, most eyeglasses are made of high-tech plastics for safety reasons. This tool cleans really well, soap deposits are very easy to wash off. But I don't like the spray itself, when it is sprayed with liquid, it scatters in different directions and gets on objects that I was not going to wash. The foam falls off very quickly and a liquid is obtained that does not wash, because of this, you have to spray more and more, which increases the consumption. the smell is generally unbearable, very sharp and, in my opinion, not safe for health. I really like the bubbles that foam up when this is sprayed on. However, if you have hard water stains or grime it doesn’t “magically “ clean like it claims to. Once you have everything cleaned it is awesome to maintain the clean appearance. But for tough stains you will need a little elbow grease and good old fashioned scrubbing.tilena.t

We have a new oven that is stainless steel and black. The top is black and I find it incredibly difficult to clean. I've tried so many different cleaners, but they all leave my black stove top streaked and looking unsightly. Then I remembered how well Glass Plus Glass and Multi-Surface Cleaner worked for me several years ago. I am happy to say this cleaner does a much better job of cleaning those black colored stove tops! It comes in a trigger sprayer bottle and the color is blue, much like Windex that I used to buy. I think this cleaner does a better job of cleaning windows, and it does so without streaking. Let me say that I hate cleaning windows! Often times I think they are clean but then when the sun shines through them they look horrible. Glass Plus Glass Multi-Surface Cleaner works on windows, glass topped tables, and even wood furniture. It claims to cut through dirt, grease and grime, and it does live up to those claims. I also appreciate that it does not have that strong alcohol scent that other glass cleaners have. It smells clean and fresh. Remember when I said my new stove was stainless and black? Well, this cleaner works nicely on all of my stainless appliances, such as my dishwasher and refrigerator. It is truly an all purpose cleaner and that means I don't have to keep so many different cleaners in my home. Performance Cleans glass, counters, appliances, furniture, stainless steel and a hard to clean black topped stove top. Scent Not strong and overpowering.
