Have this in every bathroom. Cleans nasty toilet bowls and sticks to the toilet bowl too so you can clean it, then put this in after and just let it sit for extra bleaching/cleaning. This product also works great on tile grout. If you have an old house and the tile grout is discolored put this on all the grout grids ( super easy to apply and the gel consistency makes it stay in place ) and let it sit fit at least 30 minutes or longer and your grout will be bright and white and look new! I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Lysol toilet bowl cleaner with 10 c the cleaning power does exactly what it's name states. This fights through water stains and kills up to 99.9% of bacterial. You will feel great about using this around your house and keeping your family healthy. The only reason I did not give this product a 5 would be for the smell. It almost has a liquorice smell which I am not a fan of. It was a bit overpowering for me. My first use of this did not do a complete cleaning, clearing most of the lime buildup but not all, but I think it will as I use it for weekly maintenance. Nice thing is it took only a light brushing to do it. The "gel" is more like a thick syrup in my opinion, but it did the job. I did leave it on longer than suggested on the bottle. I purchased this ZEP Acidic toilet bowl cleaner on a whim. I was cleaning a house that had been vacant for more than 10 years. The toilets had more than a decade of hard water stains, rust, lime, calcium, and "unidentifiable" residue buildup cemented to them. I was certain the toilets would have to be replaced but felt I needed to at least try to clean them first so I wouldn't feel like a quitter. This stuff is amazing! We tried for years to get a hard water stain from bottom of toilet, nothing worked. Tried vinegar, CLR, and many things people suggested online. Each time shut water off, vacuumed out with shop vac let products sit overnight. No difference at all. Saw the reviews on this Zep thought what do I have to lose. So yesterday got it all set up no water left in toilet added zep enough cover bottom area. This morning chunks of the stain was floating on top the zep. I thought maybe starting break up. It was all gone! Had one small spot so soaked more in there took it out after few hours sitting. This stain has been there for years getting worse no matter what we tried. I don't know how you can sell a product that you say cleans limescale. It makes the limescale 10 times worse because of all that green dye that you put in it. I've been cleaning houses for 40 years this is probably one of the worst products I've ever used. Now I can't get the blue /green rings out. I don't know why these companies have to use so much dye. Scrubbing Bubbles products are wonderful. I use this for the bleach factor. The ease of use is basically the same as any other competitor. It doesn't have all of the crazy scents as other brands. However, in about 2.2 seconds after you leave the bathroom, that smell is gone anyway. So let's think about this. The chemical smell added of "Ocean Breeze" cleaning in a toilet opposed to knowing the normal smell of bleach is disinfecting is more reassuring. When has an "Ocean Breeze" been known as a cleaner? I was very impressed with this product. We have hard water which quickly causes rough patches to build up inside the toilet bowl. This stuff really is thick enough to coat the inside of the bowl, and after letting it sit a few minutes, all of the scale was gone. No scrubbing was needed– but I did brush the bowl and under the rim anyway. After flushing, the inside of the bowl as as smooth and shiny as a brand new toilet would be. Have this in every bathroom. Cleans nasty toilet bowls and sticks to the toilet bowl too so you can clean it, then put this in after and just let it sit for extra bleaching/cleaning. This product also works great on tile grout. If you have an old house and the tile grout is discolored put this on all the grout grids ( super easy to apply and the gel consistency makes it stay in place ) and let it sit fit at least 30 minutes or longer and your grout will be bright and white and look new! This fights through water stains and kills up to 99.9% of bacterial. You will feel great about using this around your house and keeping your family healthy. The only reason I did not give this product a 5 would be for the smell. It almost has a liquorice smell which I am not a fan of. It was a bit overpowering for me. I bought a bottle and followed these steps. 1. I emptied the water out of the toilet bowl. 2. I poured in an entire bottle of Zep. 3. I left it overnight. 4. This toilet bowl cleaner should be called, "Wow!" My toilet bowl was a horrible, brown, disgusting mess. I tried all the usual toilet bowl cleaners, including white vinegar and baking soda, which I use on other tough stains, and nothing worked. I was at the point of replacing the toilet when I discovered Zep online. I didn't even drain the toilet bowl, but simply applied Zep under the rim of the bowl and let it flow down into the bowl. I have always been on the search for a cleaning gel for my toilet and I did find some Clorox bleach gel. I did not know that they had a lemon scent one so I wanted to give it a try. It smells very light and it is not an overpowering scent. It dissolves stains very fast especially hard water stains. It kills 99% of germs and that is something that I always want in my bathroom. I apply this under the rim and I leave it for about 5 minutes just to make sure that it is doing its job then I lightly scrub around the toilet with my brush. A clean fresh scent and a sanitized toilet. I will definitely buy more of the lemon scent. This product can be found at Walmart. I did not see this at my other local store. Okay, first of all, let’s talk about the value. The price for the two pack is amazing! I’ve used this for YEARS for my toilets and was always extremely satisfied. I recently moved to a state where bath caulk mildew seems to be the norm. I tried EVERYTHING I could think of apart from pure bleach. With two small children in the house, and limited bathroom ventilation (apart from two vent fans), I didn’t want to take the risk of using pure bleach, even diluted. Cue the social media suggestion. Someone suggested I use this product on the shower caulk for just a few minutes. I laid it on all around the edge of my stand up shower, where all the yucky mildew was, set both bathroom fans on, and left it for a few minutes. I have always been on the search for a cleaning gel for my toilet and I did find some Clorox bleach gel. I did not know that they had a lemon scent one so I wanted to give it a try. It smells very light and it is not an overpowering scent. It dissolves stains very fast especially hard water stains. It kills 99% of germs and that is something that I always want in my bathroom. I apply this under the rim and I leave it for about 5 minutes just to make sure that it is doing its job then I lightly scrub around the toilet with my brush. A clean fresh scent and a sanitized toilet. I will definitely buy more of the lemon scent. This product can be found at Walmart. I did not see this at my other local store. Perhaps it is because I have "soft water" that these only last 3 to 5 days. It turns very blue and concentrated for like 5 flushes then dwindles away after 3 days or so. I have also seen pieces breaking off causing blue spotting in the bowl and once even gumming up the floater in the tank making the water stop… even the other scrubbing bubbles brand lasts much longer, although it too has declined in recent years. The old school kind that came in the glass jars was the best but it's been discontinued for years. Buy these only if you want a lot and perhaps to use while guests are over etc, but not for value and lasting a long time.AChanceFind

Purchased this item for the first time since I love Soft Scrub. The packaging caught my eye and given the product "Soft Scrub" name I figured I could not go wrong. I followed the instructions which are easy to understand, the only complaint is the water never turned blue as the packaging states. I never had one day not to mention the packaging states "Blue Water for up to 16 weeks". I still cleaned the inside of the toilet as it too did not do as the packaging stated. Live and learn. I won't be buying this product again or recommending it to anyone I know. I hope others have better luck than I did with using it. I'm a little surprised at the amount of 5-star reviews. And I'll explain why. First, I'll start with the good. It smells wonderful. Also, the gel itself lasts longer than another toilet gel I've tried. But the delivery system is very poor. It's messy, it's awkward and a good amount of the gel is wasted because once you've used up all of the notches that the applicator can administer, there's still a decent amount of gel stuck in the end of the tube that you literally have to dig out if you don't want to throw it away. I don't know who came up with the design for this thing, but I really wish they would change it to make it easier to use because, again, the smell is fabulous. This was the very core of all of the issues I had with these new "toilet stamps." The days of those nifty over the toilet bowl cleaners that hang off of the side have been passed over by these new "stamps" that have the worst application I have ever experienced. Although the directions make it seem very simple, the process is something far from it. Assembling the applicator itself was weirdly odd enough, but when it came time to actually plant the so-called stamp onto the toilet bowl I found myself having to go down several holes on the applicator, instead of just the one that is needed according to the instructions. It hasn't been on the toilet for more than a few days now so I am noticing very little improvements thus far, but I'm hoping that given a few more days I will see what the big deal is about with this product. I must say that I'm disappointed with scrubbing bubbles on this one, mainly because it is a good idea but the execution of it is completely terrible. Oh, and last but not least, the expiration date on my package was for October 31st of this year.

These work great to clean the toilet bowl. They keep the rings away and make cleaning much easier. The scent is nice and fresh and the whole bathroom smells great for like a week. The only reason I took a star away is because they are a bit tricky to use. If you don’t have the dispenser lines up exactly right, too much gel will be dispensed and it messes up the number of uses you have left in the container. I would say this is a recent manufacturing flaw in some way and not user error because I’ve used these for years and never had issues until just recently, maybe over the last year. But I do still continue to repurchase them because they work well. I try to stay stocked up. I wish they came in packages of more than just two containers. The price point is not too bad.

I can't say I totally hate this product BUT it just didn't last long enough for me, which makes me wonder if it distributes unevenly after insertion?! You also have to have a certain shape toilet and a certain level of water to make it work properly. Luckily mine was fine but I can see this being an issue. I felt like the scent was fresh, while making the bowl appear cleaner between washings. Perhaps this is due to the blue coloring?! I have installed hundreds of the fluidmaster 400's and other fluidmaster ballcocks in my 50 plus years as a apprentice, journeyman, and master plumber, so I was happy to see the fill valve in the Glacier Bay flapperless stool. Having had extremely good service from the ones installed in customers homes in an area that is noted for hard water(the norm there is 21 grains, 7 is considered hard). I didn't worry that this one was horizontal rather than vertical. What I got was a valve that failed on me in about 6 months, by not shutting off completely. I bought a repair kit and rebuilt it, it lasted about 2 months. I bought a replacement head and installed it. I kept an eye on it found it leaking in about 3 months called fluidmaster, they said they hadn't found a cure for it, asked if the water was hard. Water here has a maximum of 3 grains of hardness, so it's soft. The head I bought at that time lasted about 3 months. I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly then reassembled it. It still leaked. I totally disassembled it and inverted the entire valve body. This lasted about 4 months. I am quitting the repairs. going to replace it with a dual flush.Retired Plumber

The instructions should be printed in a larger font with larger diagrams. For example, you have to figure out from the figure that the roller thingy on the supply tube should be roller side up. There are some real problems with a few of the parts: (1) I never could get the tank tight enough to make it straight up and without wobble. So I used the U-gasket from my old American Standard installation. Worked great first time. No leaks. (2) Using small hex nuts for the tank bolts doesn't work for me. Try finding a wrench that will work. Instead of hex head nuts my old installation used wing nuts. So I used those. MUCH easier tightening. (3) Instructions recommend using their supply line. I don't know anything about it, but I used my existing metal-braided line and it worked just fine. All flexible supply lines in your home should be metal-braided. (4) Why they even include that cheapo plastic handle is unknown to me. If your existing is metal, save and use it. The provided roller clamp was a surprisingly helpful little feature to save some water. Once I turned the water on there were no leaks anywhere. I adjusted the roller clamp to ensure the proper water level in the bowl. All done. After making the above-noted adjustments to the installation procedure, everything is working well.Glad it's over

after 10 years of using bleach tablets in TANK and one replacement of tank hardware we had a leak while on vacation. Chlorine eats away at washers and bolts. I had replaced all hardware and seals once with the red korky which are the most resistant but I still got a leak due to corrosion of bolt. All toilets now on this system. No bleach ever in tank, only goes to bowl which is porcelain and not susceptible to chlorine problems. $5k lesson learned. For any that say they tried and didn't see any bleach in bowl just give it a chance. Water between flushes sits in device and absorbs the bleach. If you just install and flush straight away you won't notice any bleach. Thats how it works and it does work.Ken

This Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care keeps the toilet somewhat clean, but definitely does not replace a full toilet cleaning. The bottom of the bowl and around the rim still become dirty. In the past drop in bleach toilet bowl cleaners destroyed the flapper in my toilet bowl tank. I have wanted to use a hanging toilet bowl cleaner for a long time. As I have chemical sensitivity so many fragrances bother me. When I did a search I found this Soft Scrub product. I read the ingredients and did not find anything that would bother me. Have this in every bathroom. Cleans nasty toilet bowls and sticks to the toilet bowl too so you can clean it, then put this in after and just let it sit for extra bleaching/cleaning. This product also works great on tile grout. If you have an old house and the tile grout is discolored put this on all the grout grids ( super easy to apply and the gel consistency makes it stay in place ) and let it sit fit at least 30 minutes or longer and your grout will be bright and white and look new! Clorox is a good brand in terms of disinfecting your house and that is the one name that comes in my mind when thinking of buying cleaning products. I have used this toilet bowl cleaner but I did not liked it much because if its strong bleach and strong smells. I even tried without bleach version but still did not liked it.
