Maybe it's windex put into a different spray bottle. Maybe it's not. Either way, this product works. Water marks and accidental finger prints go away after using this product with the waffle weave glass towel, the glass and mirrors look like they came out of a car wash machine. Everything looks even clearer than when I first drove my vehicle off the lot after using this product. As long as you buff the product off, yes there are zero streaks when using this product.

I wrote a previous review on Original Cinch, see if here as Mick, Salt Lake City. Sometime in late 2021 or early 2022 Cinch was discontinued and replaced with a counterfeit. This counterfeit has a different chemical composition, different packaging, different color, and different smell. To me it smells like toilet bowl cleaner. It seems likely that the manufacturer (S&S) simply rebranded an existing liquid cleaner with the Cinch brand without labeling it as such. It is my opinion that S&S has engaged in a flagrant violation of consumer law by misrepresenting this product as Cinch, which itself has a 30+ year history as a great all-purpose & glass cleaner. In recent years I've purchased approx. 30 gallons per year of Cinch from Do it Best and want to thank them for providing me the opportunity to do that. Unfortunately I'll not likely be buying much more. I can't recommend using this product, period. The label says it contains sodium hydroxide – the same stuff used in drain cleaner. If you're like me & stuck with product you don't particularly want to use, I've found that diluting it with 2 parts water to one part cleaner at least makes the smell tolerable.Mick

I've loved every other product I bought from Griots – but this one leaves me perplexed. If my windows are already clean its great for a quick dusting and not leaving streaks, especially with the newer combo window towels (terry one side tight weave other side). But if the windows are dirty … this window cleaner doesn't seem to cut the grime, it ends up with the dirt smeared around the windows. This seems especially true for the plastic residue that ends up collecting on the interior of the glass a few weeks after treating your interior plastics with dressing. I very often end up reverting back to old-fashioned ammonia-based glass cleaners to get my windows clean. The double-sided window towels are great! The towels are so good they almost make up for the lack of cleaning power of the window cleaner. But with generic ammonia based window cleaner the towels work even better!OldMan

The product itself is great – I've been using it mostly to clean my bathroom sink and toilet, and let me tell you, the formula is great. It's cut through every bit of soap scum and grime in both places. I even use it to clean out my soap dish and it leaves it sparkling clean. Yay! It's so easy to use too. The only complaint I have about it is that the nozzle squirts out the product, but I wish it would spray. Also, when I'm trying to spray it into my sink or toilet, I have to turn the bottle on its side but the product doesn't come out when it's on its side. I tried using these on my truck and hatred them. Used 6 just trying to get the driver's side rear view mirror steak free… and no, it wasn't super dirty to begin with. Same results when I tried it on the passenger window. Thinking maybe I had some weird film on my truck that was causing the steaks and dots where it was drying I tried cleaning my tv screen with them with the same results. It looked dirtier than before I used the wipes, with steaks and marks everywhere on the screen. I ended up using straight vinegar to remove all the steaks and water marks that this product left behind. Definitely don't recommend.Kimberly

I've been using Stoner wipes now for several years to clean my recording studio equipment .. mainly my keyboard synthesizer instruments. These wipes are not very wet .. which is perfect for these instruments that have lots of small openings which could be damaged by wetter wipes dripping onto sensitive electronics. These wipes also leave no visible streaking on said surfaces which are mostly anodized and painted metal, and plastic. The only better wipes I've ever used were Glass Plus .. but they quit making them several years ago, so Stoner is it! The only thing I liked better about the others was they had almost no scent .. Stoners do have a fairly strong scent, but the scent fades fairly quickly. The instructions for the cleaning process were thorough and very easy to understand. The unit was easy to put together onto my hose so that I could quickly get started. I started with rinsing the house and was pleasantly surprised at the force and distance of the sprayer. It’s shot straight out with a good force and remove dirt that I had not even seen on the side of my house and which is a wood material on my back patio. The unit with the cleaning solution was not heavy so it was easy to lift and point the spray into crevices that were higher up. I was surprised with the amount of dirt that it was removing. After the initial rinse, I moved on to using the cleaner. It was very easy to turn the knob on the unit to get to the rinse cycle and begin. There was not a strong chemical smell and you can tell there was some product in there as it produced suds on the side of the house. At this point, I did not see any difference from the rinse cycle on my house. And after the cleaning process, I let it sit for two minutes without drying. I did have to rush a couple of areas to get some dirt that was not moving and then I rinsed again. I didn’t see any noticeable difference after the chemical rinse that I didn’t notice after the first initial water rinse. Next time moved onto the windows. Again, I was most impressed with the sprayer and the ability to knock debris down easily. I moved onto rinse number to him and really did not notice anything monumentally different than I did after the initial rinse. I was pleased that it dry in a streak free, which I had been most concerned about. Overall, my favorite part of this unit was the force and power of the sprayer and the ease of use. I liked that I didn’t have to pull any triggers to cramp my hand. I just never saw any noticeable difference between the initial rinsing and using the cleaning products. The dirt that was still visible after the rents had to be scrubbed off with a brush and was not removed with the cleaner alone. It was nice and convenient to not have to have multiple bottles of cleaning products for two different jobs and it was nice to have the sprayer easily connected to the cleaner. Much easier than making your own window washing solution or cleaner and scrubbing it onto your wall or window. I’d recommend the product based on the east, convenience and power of the sprayer.Purpie

The siding on our house is over twenty years old and was looking like we were going to have to replace it, then we got our Rejuvenate Dual system outdoor window and siding cleaner. We recently had a seamless shower door installed in our master bath. We always "squegee" the shower after we take our showers. However I wanted know what what to use when we did want to clean the glass. We asked the contractor what we should and he recommended Sprayway. Whether my sports car's windshield, or my bathroom mirror, it sprays on, glides off, leaving a surgically clean surface with no streaks and as close to no effort as could possibly exist. I have used many glass cleaners over many decades. I've used all the big brands, all the recommended brands, and have even used professional, custom, home-brewed skyscraper plate glass cleaning solution, and none do as good a job as Sprayway's glass cleaner. I don't know what they put it in, but whatever they do, it works better than I deserve. AND it's inexpensive. Works great. Do not get on plastic as it will ruin it. The actual ingredients are a secret but I smell a light acetone as part of the mix, but that is my guess . If you have a Suburu, make sure you cover the cameras with index cards and painters tape as no cleaner must ever get on the camera and I think this would be more damaging than others. I have 20 windows and 15 have solar screens to ease sunlight and they are great but a pain if I have to remove two sets of screens to wash windows, so I have washed them in years. We all know how hard it is to find EPA-approved disinfectants these days. I never would have thought to buy windex, but that's what we stumbled on to, so we bought ten and are awfully glad we did. It's definitely not as convenient to use as a disinfectant wipe, but it gets the job done. You must spray an item thoroughly and wait ten minutes for any virus to be killed. Then you must rinse the product off. So it's kind of a pain, but thoroughly cleaning anything these days is. I almost gave this 4 stars for the wrong reasons, glad I rated it a 5 as deserved. It's a little pricey because my Mother actually uses the Window cleaner to clean many things, and idk if the ammonia would make it antibacterial or not, I assume not. The scent isn't great or offensive, a lot better than the timeless window cleaning solution. I will say that thee scent reminded me of a smell I can't place my finger on. When looking for a disinfectant that would also clean and shine various surfaces, I was so pleased to find that Windex had come out with such a stellar product. This cleaner does it all, from disinfecting incoming grocery packages during our current COVID market home deliveries, to cleaning all of our stainless steel appliances, door handles, light switches and messy fingerprints on doors…leaving an amazing shine wherever we use it. Add the disinfectant factor and it’s our main cleaning product throughout the house. And it shines windows! Have yet to find it in a large container to refill spray bottles. Regular Windex doesn’t come close to the cleaning power of this new product. Bigger bottles, please!

I recommend using a "flour sack towel" and turning often. I also paid attention to covering the window pane with spray – well not quite cover. I think it makes a difference. After such a success I tried it on stainless steel. It is definitely windows and mirrors only – and that's OK because my windows were quickly cleaned the first time. I like the packaging and the idea of the pods. Reducing waste is great, and I admire the ingenuity of the product. However I have never had luck with winded leaving a truly streak free shine, this version is no different. I will use since I received the free sample but I would not purchase. I did look at where it might be available to purchase but did not see it in any stores I checked. If someone like the windex original product then I would recommend they try this too.

I absolutely love the fact that big-name companies are hopping on board to try and keep plastic out of landfills! Windex is a brand I have used for many years so I wanted to see if these pods were just as good as the normal Windex. First off, the bottle is plastic and made to be reused. It seems sturdy and it will last me longer than the single-use plastic bottle. It was easy to use, just drop the pod in and fill with warm water, shake until dissolved and you're ready to get to cleaning! So I tried this set the other day for the first time. It was actually fun making it. Filled the bottle with hot/warm water and then added the concentration inside and shaking it up. Felt like a science experiment lol Performance wise I'd say it's almost as good as the legit Og Windex. Like 9/10. It's good for the environment, it's a big bottle so it'll last a long time. Even though I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest review I would totally purchase the refill packs and tell my friends how legit this product is.
