Do not use on tile floors! Had brand new porcelain tile with a flat finish. Floors were thoroughly cleaned. 2 coats were applied a day apart. Within a few weeks the areas that had more sun began peeling and looking dull. It took weeks of scrubbing with a special cleaner the company supplied. This product works wonders and does not build up on the floors. Using the restorer and then the cleaner keeps the floors shining. When I moved into my apartment, the floor in one of the bedrooms had an area that looked like it been stripped. I thought I'd need to purchase a rug to cover the area. Used on vinyl floors after a thorough cleaning using their luxury vinyl floor cleaner. Left a very streaky residue and wax like film that is ever present. Luckily I used it only on a small spot as I did not notice a large shine and moved on to my porcelain tiles. DEAR GOD WHAT A MISTAKE. Streaks everywhere, sticky residue along with a hazy type finish. I have hardwood floors. When they were laid, the individual pieces were already finished. Bona products (which I'd used with great results on a floor that was laid ""bare"" and finished on site) did not work well. So I tired Weiman's. I recommend it highly. The Cleaner picked up dirt, but I also used the shine product with GREAT results. I recommend both products for best results. I wondered what mop to use and ended up using a Swiffer DRY mop but putting microfiber cloths onto it. Worked well. Then I washed the microfibre cloths right away.D.

This is my 2nd machine. I love the ease of using it, as it doesn't hurt my back like mopping with a large mop however it has its drawbacks. I have multiple large dogs and a family that is in the landscaping business so we always have dirt and mud being tracked in. My kitchen floor is vinyl tile and white so everything is easily noticed. The first one I bought lasted about 8 months and then a piece broke off where the water is sucked into so I had to quit using. I bought the 2nd one and made sure to take extra care but I'm experiencing what many on here have stated. It takes me 3 tanks do to my kitchen which is about 300 sq ft. Because I have to go over each area multiple times. Ii don't mind doing this but it's a lit of starts and stops to get the floor cleaned. However once it's done it looks great. I wish there was a way that you could make the brushes scrub harder for the tough spots, and maybe add a heater to keep the water hot so the floor would be cleaned faster. Also because of its size you can't get into the hard to reach places and you would still have to mop those areas. I will continue to use my machine until it breaks down but hopefully their will be improvement soon. Lastly as everyone has stated the machine does leave water trails especially when standing still, I have just learned to clean those up as I go and when I'm done I have to papertowel the last spot to soak up the water.Colleen

I was expecting great things from this particular PowerDash product. But after reading the reviews, it was true, the vacuum didn't pick up the water left on the floor as I was expecting. I called customer service and she said to add some water in the collecting tank but it still didn't pick up much water. I miss the Floormate (sold out). I will wait for that. I like Hoover products. I realize people can be very harsh and critical and say don't buy this but you gain even better ideas from their comments. I don't expect a miracle from any machine. I can't expect a product to miraculously clean the grout of the tile. It's really a blessing that companies such as yours can give us an easier way of living. I had a floormate for 15 years that needed to be replaced. I purchased the PoweDash Hard Floor cleaner in May 2022 The new machine was flimsy and inferior design from the old machine from the onset. Less than six months later, it no longer works. The machine stopped dispersing the liquid onto the floor. My husband, a mechanical engineer, evaluated the machine with no success. I contacted Bed Bath and Beyond and I was instructed to call the manufacturer. That was done and three days later there is still no callback from the message left. Save your money and the headache. I used this product on my 25 year old oak, original hardwood floors after cleaning them with the Bona Hardwood Floor Deep Cleaning product and my Oreck buffer. All I can say is WOW! I thought there was no hope for these floors- so scratched, dull, tired and worn looking. 25 years of sand on the floors, clients dragging bed frames across the floor to move the beds where they want them, and more! I was WRONG! These floors look brand new now. I am so happy! This product works exactly as described if used according to the directions. It was very easy to use, very forgiving in its application. Didn't dry too fast so there was time to go back over spots with no microfiber applicator pad marks in the finish. I could not be happier. I had to write this review to dispute all the bad reviews this product has received. I’m just sick over what this product did to my brand new home. My mistake for not reading reviews prior to purchasing. The product left a layer of white film all over my floors. I tried and tried scrubbing for hours and days on end but could not get this glue off. I have scrubbed so hard that the wood is now damaged and warping. I called customer service and the person I spoke with had an attitude and was trying to turn it around like I had not used it correctly. I am 53 and know how to read and follow instructions. I now need to go pay a professional to refinish my brand new floors. I would love to start a class action lawsuit with all these other customers that seem to have had the same experience. All the negative reviews! I have to wonder if anyone read the instructions? I have been using Bona floor products going on 10 years on the same floors and I have to say, that the one or two times I have hurried through, I have gotten some milky streaking and it was all my fault. You have to clean your floors with the Bona cleaner and let them dry thoroughly. Once dry, working small sections you apply the Bona Polish going with the grain of the wood (when possible) you have to work quickly and try to get an even coating. You can not let anyone walk on the floors for at least an hour afterward, longer if it is humid – overnight is best. As long as I do this, each and every time I have substantially shinier floors and my floors have the finish worn away in some places. They do not look like new but they look 100 times better after I polish with Bona. With 2 dogs, there's really no reason to refinish my floors right now. This is a great compromise! As long as you read the directions and take your time, your floors will turn out great.cat1048

We purchased the Pledge Clean It Gentle Wood Floor Cleaner and Revive Floor Gloss to use on our 20 year old Tarkett engineered laminate flooring. We had regularly used Bona floor cleaner but wanted to kick the finish up a notch. Applied per instructions, we were pleased with the performance of the cleaner. The Revive is another story. We found that the best way to apply it was with a cotton Sh-Mop system that we have used for years with the Bona. Application had to be rather quick as the Revive tended to ‘dry out’ and smear without really drying out. Afterwards, it can be said that the floors were indeed shinier BUT the positives end there. Even though the floors are more shiny, they left a finish that is much more “grabby” without being sticky. There is no slide to the treated areas as on the original floor finish making chairs MUCH more difficult to push up to the table. We have used semi-hard plastic slides on the chair legs for years – they screeched and were very hard to push after using the Revive. I then replaced the plastic tips with felt pads which fared no better. Even though our floors did have areas that were more worn than others, we both agree that that original finish is/was preferred rather than the Revive disaster. It's very beautiful when its done correctly but I am having problems removing it off the floor because of the uneven settings of the polish leaving streak's. I have great appreciation for wood floors and upon trying to remove the polish, what it looked like when I tried to clean it with soap and water, didn't sit well with me or *my floor*. I've been using Orange Glo for many years and never found anything as simple to use that produces such outstanding results. Three-quarters of my circa 1950s home is covered with original hardwood floors. Looking at these floors you would think they were a recent addition thanks to Orange Glo. Small scratches disappear with a single application. The simplicity of the process makes this a double thumbs up product. I vacuum up dust and pet hair; use a damp flat microfiber mop and squirt the letter "S" in a 4-foot area, apply with the wood grain and move on. What it looks like wet is pretty much what it looks like dry. The added bonus is the natural orange scent. I tried other products and some dull my floors and others just don't look clean and glossy. This us a great little starter kit. First, you need to do your homework because there are no instructions for anything except the controller. I mounted this on my truck's fiberglass topper. You need to pay attention to the grounding locations on the panel and provide a ground wire and nut and bolt to them. Yes, you only need one, but I put in two. The cable connector diameter is 1/4", and connector diameter is 3/4", but once you put in one cable, you need more room to push through the 2nd 3/4" connector. I drilled a 1/4" hole next to the 3/4 hole to slide the cable out of the way. You will need grommets and sealant, or I used a marine through-hole connector. Sealed, of course. My truck cap is slightly curved – enough that if I had mounted the solar panel directly, it would have put a bending strain on it and possibly cracked in. I used 1/4" wood slices to make up the difference. I also bought rubber sheets (8"x 8") from Ace Hardware to place under the "feet" . The kit gives you everything you need except the 12v battery to which you connect. Please note that you connect the battery to the controller first. I use my truck in Search and Rescue support, as a radio relay. This solar panel will help greatly in not running down my battery. It does an ok job adding back shine to dulled out wood floor surface. It's thin milky fluid that is poured on the floor and mopped once the floor's prepped/cleaned. It's an easy application anyone can handle. The issue I have with it is that it requires/recommends microfiber cloth to mop with it. I happened to have one laying around at home but if you don't have one, you need to get one or find an alternative. I didn't catch that at first and used the papertowel to wipe and it left a film of hazy residue on multiple spots which is unsightly. I mopped the area again with a microfiber cloth and went away. I was concerned it would leave chemical odors but it didn't. It contained a lot of different chemical material that makes me wonder what long tern effects it would have on the wood. Overall, it's a nice product to restore the dull surface if you have a hard time doing with normal cleaning.Hockeycc

My husband and I have considered having our hardwood floors refinished. They're dull, scratched and had been heavily abused before we bought our house. Add kiddos and a Labrador, and my hardwoods never look good. I try to keep a tidy home and my floors have been a huge source of grief for me. I've tried many other products that promise to "add shine" to my floors, products designed for heavy traffic, and all failed. They would add shine, but quickly scratch, scuff and end up looking worse. In fact, I almost didn't try this product because of so many failures in the past – but I'm glad I did! First I gave them a basic cleaning, then applied two coats of the restorer. It's been 10 days and my floors are still looking gorgeous! I’ve been using the rejuvenate professional wood floor restorer with satin finish for about a month now. My job is to remodel homes. I thought I would give this product a try, and I was happy that I did. Rejuvenate fills in the lines and cracks and restores the floor with a water based polyurethane. This has a satin finish, so the door looks shiny and natural when finished. This is a 32oz. bottle and will clean about 525 square feet of floor. This is by far the best floor rejuvenate product I have used. The process is easy, and only takes about 45 minutes and the cost is great compared to hiring a professional to do the job.Dman7576

This us a great little starter kit. First, you need to do your homework because there are no instructions for anything except the controller. I mounted this on my truck's fiberglass topper. You need to pay attention to the grounding locations on the panel and provide a ground wire and nut and bolt to them. Yes, you only need one, but I put in two. The cable connector diameter is 1/4", and connector diameter is 3/4", but once you put in one cable, you need more room to push through the 2nd 3/4" connector. I drilled a 1/4" hole next to the 3/4 hole to slide the cable out of the way. You will need grommets and sealant, or I used a marine through-hole connector. Sealed, of course. My truck cap is slightly curved – enough that if I had mounted the solar panel directly, it would have put a bending strain on it and possibly cracked in. I used 1/4" wood slices to make up the difference. I also bought rubber sheets (8"x 8") from Ace Hardware to place under the "feet" . The kit gives you everything you need except the 12v battery to which you connect. Please note that you connect the battery to the controller first. I use my truck in Search and Rescue support, as a radio relay. This solar panel will help greatly in not running down my battery. Surprisingly, the solarpanel was putting out 12.43v when my truck was *inside* my garage. Yes, AZ is sunny but I was surprised.tregrej

My wood laminate was dull and whitish matt for some reason when we installed it and finished all the decor. No matter how much I'll mop the floors it just had this whitish look, though laminate itself did have a little bit of shine before we laid it. I tried this product and it did make it glossy and eliminated that white shade. I used microfiber mop to spread it and it did the justice to my floor. Looks good. Don't know how long the shining will last yet as just did this today, but there's still left for couple more times. The only thing that I did not like was the smell of it. All day it is hanging in the room and open windows did not help much.jollier13

Love this product so far! My husband put down a coat of the Floor Restorer about 2 months ago ( only after using the Rejuvenate Daily Floor Cleaner). It has held up well on our new floors. We have a 1 year old black lab puppy, two cats and a whirlwind of a toddler all over these floors, all the time. I just cleaned the floor with the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner and put another coat of the Rejuvenate All Floor Restorer over where my husband did a spot two months ago, you can barely tell where he did his spot before, it looks so shiny and uniform, and we aren't slipping on it constantly. It's kept our new floor nice and scratch free. In our kitchen, it's been down for two months also, I couldn't get a good picture, but it wears down to what the floor looked like before we applied the Restorer to it. I highly recommend this product, just follow directions carefully and use the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner on it beforehand. On a side note, to do a quick clean I use the Great Value Wet Mopping Cloths on it a few times a week, and it doesn't seem to affect how quickly the finish wears at all. The only thing that seems to affect the wear of the All Floor Restorer is how often foot traffic goes over certain areas. The pictures below are in the living room, I have to do it in sections so I took a picture of where I stopped with the All Floor Restorer, so you can see the difference between the floor before and after. Also, my cats decided they were going to walk over where I applied the Floor Restorer about 10 minutes after I was done, and they didn't leave footprints. I used this product on my ceramic tile floors. It was a disaster. After a couple of weeks, I noticed, spots that looked dirty. I mopped and mopped, but this mess would not come off. I had to get down on my knees to try to scrape it off. I finally used Goo-Gone paint remover and it took the spots and stains right off. I have used this Bissell product for years and i just love it. I wash my floors with a mop with a micofiber mop head or my Bissell floor cleaner. I have all wood floors and after i wash them there is never any scum residue left on the floor. My floors are left with a warm bright shine. There is a extra plus in the fact that if i should get any of the product on my large area rug it (DOES NOT LEAVE ANY STAIN). I have a large entrance way and three bathrooms with white ceramic tile and believe me it helps dirt not to sick to the tile.

The Bissell 2x Hard Floor Solutions Formula Cleaner is exactly what I've been looking for to get the grime out of my hardwood and linoleum. Not only has it proven itself worthy for it's strength to pull the ground in grime, it makes the whole house smell refreshingly clean. I use it in my Powerfresh Steam Mop to disinfect as I go and the heat seems to release the smells into the air. It has cut my cleaning time and efforts in half. I don't have to take extra time to scrub because it lifts it out for me. I purchased this product thinking it would help with my cabinet problem in the kitchen but it didn't. I followed the directions and applied it to the cabinet. I even let the lotion sit on my cabinet and scrubbed the wood with a soft tooth brush to see if that would help. I don't know what is on my cabinet but it is something this product can't take care of. I'll try it on my bathroom cabinet to see if it helps them.CDCD

In a bucket, dilute the deep cleaner in hot water as hot water is more effective. using a sponge mop, apply to the floor surface. do small sections (1.5m x5) of the floor at a time in order to maintain a more manageable removal and clean-up. allow the deep cleaner solution to remain on the floor for a few minutes. caution: do not allow the solution to dry and re-adhere to the surface. if solution appears to be drying, add a little warm water to the surface wet. at the end of 5 minutes, agitate with our microfiber scrubber pad. aggressive agitation and elbow grease are typically required to remove ground-in dirt and multiple layers of the finish. once you have thoroughly deep cleaned the floor, rinse the area with clear, warm water and allow to dry. they you can proceed to the next 5×5 area and repeat steps.

I used the Quick Shine "Shiner Stuff" for my laminate a couple of months back. It shines really nice, HOWEVER, if you have pets or living in the desert with quite some dust all around you the Shiner is not good at all. It leaves quite a thick coating on your floor and if you can not get rid of every tiny pet hair or dust it will get trapped under the coating and stays there and you will see it all the time. With that being said I tried to get rid of the finish with this Deep Cleaner from the same manufacturer which is suppose to take off the finish or other wax coatings. It is really a pain. First of all you need very hot water to make it even loosen up the coating. You can't mob, scrub and get the coating of as fast as the hot water cools down which "hardens" the coating again when cooling off. I scrubbed and scrubbed on my hands and knees for hours to get about 150 sqf done and not even satisfactory. I ended up using a steam mop and coconut oil. This worked much better (not perfect though) than this deep cleaner. To get all of the finish off you have to work very, very hard and it is even impossible with the deep cleaner to get everything off. So…the cleaner is not helpful to get the finish of the same product line off your floor. Most important advice…..DO NOT use their"Shiner" finish for wood or laminate floors. It's a pain to get it off later on. I ordered now a different "Stripper" for another room hoping that this will work better and will made removing the finish easier. I had layers of wax/buildup on my hardwood floors. This is the only product that worked to really loosen it up. I still had to scrape most of it off by hand with a plastic wallpaper scraper. It was a tedious job because I had a lot of surface area to cover, but the Quick Shine product really works.. Then I used a good steam mop and the floor looks almost like new. Purchased this product as an update to an original FloorMate, model # H2800, that I've had for many, many years. Have much more floor to wash now and am much older. Wanted the rotating spin-scrub brushes and the much larger wash solution tank which are an improvement over the original model. Am disappointed. The old FloorMate out-performs this newer model in the wet vacuum mode, by far, plus the newer model leaks significantly more wash solution than the older model when stationary. The tank is properly seated so that is not the problem. Thought for sure that Hoover would've gotten a handle on this issue on updated models. While the FloorMate remains a great concept, the performance of this new model is not acceptable to me. Will resort to using my original FloorMate and resign myself to filling the wash solution tank 8-10 times as opposed to 3 times but the flooring will be almost instantly dry. Will 'gift' my sister-in-law with this new model so she can wash her back porch floor with ease as she does not require the same level of almost instant dryness that I prefer.Reenie

This is my 4th floor mate, my last one the brush would not stay attached, This one I'm having a problem with the clear cover staying on. But all in all this is a good concept for cleaning and then rinsing the floor. I wash my floor and then suck up the water, then put clean water in the tank and re rinse the floor. I have 2 old doxie who pee, and this machine really helps with the clean up. I also use it on the rubber mats at my back door during the winter and rainy season. Until summer when I can take my mates outside for a go pressure washing. The company just needs to look at a better design for the brush and now the clear cover.LINDA

I bought this specifically to clean my laminate floors after a basement remodel that left a layer of Sheetrock dust is n the textured laminate. We scrubbed, mopped and everything else to try and clean the laminate, but couldn't get this layer of dirt off the floors. Bought this vac to try since we'd already tried everything else. Mixed the cleaner with a cap full of vinegar and tried an area. Couldn't believe the dirt I emptied out of the container after one pass. After this we decided to move all the furniture and do one whole room. Not only did it get all the dirt out of the distressed floors, it scrubbed the laminate back to looking new. We'll to say the least we ended up doing every room in the house because the dust had come up through all the vents. The heavy traffic areas we did twice and still were able to pull additional dirt off the floors. I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before buying and the main reason I decided on this one was because of the rotating brushes. They scrub the floors in both directions and suck up the water when pulling it back. I live this vac and have also used on my tile floors. It does not clean the grout, but I wouldn't expect it to, but does an amazing job on the tile. I will be making another quick pass to n all the floors again just to see how much additional dirt I can get off. Great purchase, don't be scared by the other reviews. The vac will leak a little when water is in the cleaning container and you leave it in one spot, so if storing with water in the tank, our a towel under it.Doug
