I love all things COFFEE! I have been drinking this instant coffee powder for at least 15 years! My mother introduced me to it, when I was a young girl and it was kinda like a treat that I would get to drink with her while we bonded. I love the flavor and how quick and easy it is to make. The directions say to measure out 2 tablespoons into a mug and pour boiling water over it. I prefer adding an extra scoop to my mug, so that the flavor is more rich and less watery. Sometimes, I top it with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. It keeps me energized and is affordable. I recommend you give it a try! This is very watered down with little to no vanilla flavor. It tastes like what I imagine dirty dishwater would taste like. I am a diabetic and have been on the keto diet for years. So I am very used to everything that is sugar free. This has no sweet taste at all, not even a little bit. What is even more disturbing is the carb count. You are supposed to use two tablespoons to make this coffee. Two tablespoons is a whopping 10 grams of carbs. I try and stay under 20 grams of carbs per day so this travesty would cost me half of my daily carb intake. Maybe if it was something delicious like warm chocolate chip cookies and it was a cheat day, I would be more apt to justifying the carbs. So I do use a lot of hot frothy lactose free ( Walmart brand/ it's not organic but it's amazing too) milk and with the intense dark flavor it makes a brilliant latte. Wasn't sure about it, but figured we would try it and have not regretted our purchase. Would absolutely recommend and buy it again. It's become one of our favorite k-cup coffees at home. Only complaint is that if you let it sit to long, the powder used for the foaming element separates and leaves silt on the bottom. Gevalia 2 step cappuccino is so easy and convenient. All you do is open up the frothing packet, put the kcup in and bamm..it can't get any easier. Although the froth packet smells super sweet it surprisingly has a nice mild sweetness. I do add a little truvia/stevia to my liking. To me the cappuccino was not to bitter or heavy tasting but just right. I get the feeling of having a super fancy cappuccino in the comfort of my own home. We have purchased the Original Donut Shop Mocha Latte many times in the past. It has been one of our favorite Keurig flavored coffees. However, we were very disappointed with this shipment. We ordered and received 3 boxes of 20 K-cups. We have tried to use 6 K-cups out of the first box. 4 of the 6 K-cups failed to deliver a cup of coffee. The Keurig 2.0 machine locked-up on those 4 drinks. We also have several other beverages that we received from Keurig in the same and prior orders. We have no problem brewing with any of the other K-cups. I did perform the cleaning process after the first K-cup failed. That did not make a difference. The other failures occurred after performing the cleaning process, but no other beverages had any problem brewing.One disappointing box
I have always drank the Vanilla Latte made by the same brand and added a bit of caramel so I thought I'd give this The Original Donut Shop Caramel Latte a try and I was surprised at how good it was, it does have a real caramel flavor which is quite bold (which I like) yet it's smooth, creamy and best of all you don't need to add any other ingredients just put the pod into your brewer and and you have a great Caramel Latte ready to drink. If you like Caramel Lattes as I do save yourself some money and stay home make your own for much less than any coffee shop and make to your taste. The intensity will depend on what setting you set your brewer at , I set at the 6 oz. cup and it's great, for me the 8 oz was a little weak but to each their own, try it out and see for yourself how good this is and save some money too.tlynn
I tried The Original Donut Shop Sundae Fundae Latte K-cup pods and it is pretty tasty. I like flavored coffees so I was anxious to try this particular flavor. The product description says that it has the flavors of creamy milk chocolate, rich vanilla, toasted walnuts, and cherry. However, I found it to only taste a bit like milk chocolate, vanilla and coconut. I, myself, couldn't taste the other flavors in it but it was still a nice flavor though. It isn't too sweet, and it isn't too chocolatey. I do wish I could have tasted the cherry and walnut flavors in it, but the k-cup itself empties completely, leaving no product in the k-cup, which I really like.Cardinal53s

My teenage son absolutely loves this latte. He really likes that it comes in individual packets, making it easier to know how much to use. It is not too sweet, but has enough sweetness to enhance the flavour. My son uses this as his motivation to get up in the morning or as a treat when he needs a boost. Flavor is good, but issues with it not producing abundant crema. I use a Baratza sette 270 grinder and a Rancilio Silvia single boiler. The coffee is a medium roast like I prefer but doesn't pack a punch. My taste profile is generally high altitude beans. My second favorite is generally Peruvian beans. Boxcar in Boulder, Crema in Nashville, and Joe's in NYC are my favorite coffee. I probably won't get this again, but want to experiment with the grind more.MJ S.
My morning workflow begins with 18g of Lavazza Super Crema. I use the pre-infusion hack on my Gaggia Classic Pro. I learned about pre-infusion from a Whole Latte Love YouTube video. Pre-infusion is key on a Gaggia Classic Pro because a stock machine produces too much pressure which made my extractions prone to channeling. Pre-infusion has all but eliminated channeling, plus I didn't void my warranty by installing a lower pressure 9-bar spring. I aim for a 36g extraction in 25 seconds (after 5-8 seconds pre-infusion). This recipe with Super Crema produces the right amount of bite (bitterness) and a richness of flavor that reminds me of my favorite chocolate bar (Dark Chocolate, Cherry & Almond by Theo Chocolate in Seattle).ROBERT M.
I've tried fresh local roasts, and multiple regional roasters, and even Starbucks, all within 2 weeks of roasting…. This Coffee by far has provided me the best result for flavor, ease of dialing in and a Crema that is as good as I've seen; I use the Gaggia Classic, which I'm fully aware, leaves a lot to be desired as far as great espresso; This Coffee does make a difference however and I recommend to WLL that when you sell a Gaggia Classic, including a bag of this Coffee would net you far fewer disappointed customers, thinking the machine is just not capable; I grind with the Niche Zero so the grind has never been an issue, but I do note also that the Lavazza Super Crema always grinds without clumps… Perhaps the Italians treat the beans with something? It took a lot f work to put this drink together. The coffee doesn’t sieve with the addition of hot water, it soaks in it as you add the water. The paper is weak and doesn’t support the weight of the grounds when adding water. So you have to hold the paper and the cup so the grounds don’t fall in. And because the grounds are soaking in the water, when you remove the container with the grounds, you have to squeeze the sieve (which is hot!). Overall, I’m disappointed. I love Vietnamese coffee-the inherent chocolate-y flavor is incredibly unique. However, while I'm impressed with the clever means of creating a pour over in the style of a proper Vietnamese coffee, the flavor was not what I was hoping for. Faintly there, but not as much as I've experienced with the more commerical Trung Nguyen coffee. I use a drip coffeemaker for my regular brewing needs, but I like Copper Cow if I want an additional cup in the afternoon. I also think Copper Cow will be a good item to take on trips since coffee options during travel aren't always great. The only thing I'm still trying to figure out is how to get my cup nice and hot. I use my electric kettle at its hottest setting, but once I do the pour over and add some creamer it's not piping hot. That may just be the nature of the process. I really like this product. Having tasted a few of them. Does not taste like mushroom – although the coffee taste is quite subtle too. The coconut powder in it makes it really creamy. It stirs in well, does not go lumpy. My only complaint with this produxt is the individual sachets. I would prefer it in a tub or container that can be closed. This coffee is great! I was skeptical because I can never quite make my coffee taste like “out of home” coffee, but this does. I like it iced. My only complaint is that it doesn’t make much product unless you use a lot of water which lessens the strength, but that might be how they drink it in Vietnam (I don’t know). These coffee packs are quite tasty! My favorite flavor-wise was definitely the "churro" one, but unfortunately the warning that it might drain slowly was a bit of an understatement for me. It could definitely be user error, as this is my first time making pour over-style coffees. I tried a variety of water temperatures and time between adding water each time I brewed the churro flavor, but I could never get more than about 2oz of coffee before the filters completely stopped draining for me, which was pretty disappointing. I would have loved to have been able to brew a full 8oz cup of it, since the cinnamon flavor was so tasty! The other flavors didn't have this same issue, and were much easier to brew! The lavender was on the strong side for me, but still good. These coffees might not be a daily staple for me, but they were a nice treat, and I'd like to try some of the other flavors available!Laura R.
I love this latte as a treat during school/work from home. The lavender taste comes thru and you can adjust the milky/sweetness. You need to put some of the creamer in otherwise the pour over coffee alone is too bitter. Likewise, the coffee from the pour over seems very weak. It's a semi-translucent coffee instead of a strong pitch black after only the 3rd time pouring water thru. I usually still need a black coffee in the AM and follow up with a copper cow latte if I feel like treating my self later on. So while I would still recommend this to people who like lavender lattes I would add an asterisk to let them know it delivers on the authentic lavender flavor, not on the coffee. I am a Mocha drinker (Only mochas). I tried the Trinidad Coffee Espresso and found it too mild and too "earthy" in flavor. I tried the Lavazza Super Crema and didn't get much crema and it too was mild in flavor. I tried the Maromas Orphea and the flavor really "popped" with lots of crema. Delicious, but just a hint more "fruity" than I wanted. When I tried the Lavazza Top Class Espresso (recommended to my by wholelattelove.com support), the flavor "popped" like the Orphea and gave me good crema as well, and the flavor was just right! It has a chocolaty flavor that blends well with the Hersey's chocolate syrup I use. I have found the coffee beans for me! I use a Capresso conical burr grinder set on Extra fine. I use a Gaggia Classic for my espresso shots. All of the coffee's I have purchased from Wholelattelove.com have been top notch quality and the sales, delivery, service couldn't be better. My personal tastes probably differ from many who would read this review, but I am extremely happy with my purchase and will order it again soon. Choice of coffee is, of course, always a matter of personal taste. I have tried all of the Lavazza blends, and most of the Kimbo as well. The trick is to find a blend that works with your machine and produces the ideal balance of fruitiness (acid) and bitterness. I found that all of the all-arabica blends ended up being a bit sour, and without enough full coffee flavor. Super Cremates — almost everybody's favorite — is very, very good, but I find it a bit bland. Now that I have the machine perfectly dialed in (ECM Synchronica, used with a Eureka Atom grinder, both from WLL) the Top Class produces the perfect double espresso. Rich, lovely aftertaste, no trace of sourness. It's a strong blend, a classic Italian espresso. The flavor is about the same as what I am served in the best espresso bars in Greenwich Village, NY and in Rome. And WLL sends it out, fast as lightning, very fresh, at the best price.Stanley S.
Being without a seance of smell, I rely on my taste buds for coffee experience. Sweet sour salt and bitter. Aromatic presence plays no part. I discovered Qualita Oro years ago working from Basel, and found it in the grocery store there. For eleven years I worked about half the time in Europe and noticed almost all of the espresso drinks were made with a medium roast and not the heavier French or Italian roast. The brand I saw most often used in cafe bars was Lavazza followed by Illy. About ten years ago I bought an Expobar Office Lever from WLL and soon after found Oualita Oro on their site. It is one of my favorite. I make lattes with it and my daughter prefers Americanos. I give a four star and consider that an excellent rating as the five is reserved for the very exceptional, good and unusual. Having said that, there is always a slight variation from bag to bag and sometimes I think this one was a five, but you can count on this this being an excellent to outstanding coffee from any bag of Qualita Oro.Allan A.

With a good machine, the bean really makes a difference. Local fresh roasts work great, but mass produced Lavazza is easier on the pocketbook and tastes nearly as good once dialed in. We used to live in WI and when we did we drank this coffee after visiting Door County. This is the best coffee we have ever had. I drink my coffee with cream and sugar because I dont like the bitterness of coffee. However this is the only coffee I have had where I enjoy it more without the creamer. I used this coffee on my Gaggia Classic Pro and the coffee came out fast and weak. On the can, and on this website its said that the coffee is for espresso machine but it taste like tea. In the past I purchased the coffee in whole beans and its great. I don't recommended this Pre-Ground coffee for the espresso machine.Gabi

For context: I only drink americanos instead of drip-coffee from a coffee machine, and milk-based drinks instead of straight espresso. I have tried just about every Lavazza whole bean coffee, and this one is by far the worst. I found the flavor to be on the darker side, which is not a bad thing. But when that is coupled with bitterness, that's just a deal breaker for me. Obviously, these characteristics are more pronounced as an americano. As a latte or cappuccino it was more palatable thanks to the softening of the taste from the milk and foam. Nevertheless, whatever chocolatey and nutty notes this coffee may have, they are too subtle to appreciate, especially with the bitterness that is present. I'll put this on my "Do Not Buy" list.Patrick G.
I have a Gaggia Babila and love it. The only thing I don't love about it is that I cannot use dark roast (aka oily) espresso beans. I love a deep, dark, intense and chocolatey espresso shot. I was purchasing Lavazza Top Class and it just doesn't have that intense flavor that I am looking for despite the fact that I have every setting on my machine to pull a bold shot. I asked WLL for something that would better fit my taste profile and the Lavazza Crema e Aroma was recommended. Total waste of $30 :(. Even less intense than the Lavazza Top Class. Purchased a 1kg bag of this coffee from another supplier. It arrived tight and perfectly vacuumed. Beautiful coffee. Sweet and slightly acidic like a medium roast Kenyan arabica. More to my liking than the Super Crema which I also purchased. It had more of a strong and bitter, burnt robusta aftertaste. So pleased with the Crema e Aroma that I ordered these two 1kg packs via Amazon. These 2 1kg bags arrived this morning and I am very disappointed to find that one of the bags is no longer a vacuum. It is completely loose and I can rattle the coffee beans freely around the bag by gently shaking. There is nill resistance to the bag when squeezed and the coffee beans move around freely. Also it is extremely easy to smell the coffee. There was no damage to the delivery box. The second bag is quite similar though not just as bad. I established a return to register my disappointment as the review option was not yet showing, but I stated due to the current Covid19 restrictions and the need to travel to actually get the packages returned, I would not actually be going out to return them. Considering my age, current health, and my rural location this not really an option. Not pleased, as I ordered in the first place to minimize shopping away from home. With a great sale Keurig Supreme, I was hoping to consume more liquids, especially something warm in the cooler months. But not being a coffee drinker, would teas, cider or hot coco get old? Only, I so remembered a tea latte a friend had treated me with once… Not to disappoint! The box of 24 will hardly last, and I came back online, today, to find 96 and only @ $.50 ea. THIS will be a staple. Yumm! A tad sweet, but oh so flavorful and wonderful. Be sure to sample this Chai tea if you haven’t already. It’s deliciousness has even removed the earlier desire to sample others brands. BUT Beware!!! My 1st cup with my new Kuerig was awful — SO watered down and thin! NOT a keeper. Thank goodness I decided to open, rinse, stack and store the empties (to help remember when to change the water filter), as the K-cup was still full!!! Even with the new 5-prongs, all the water had just rolled right off the top. It had to have settled in storage? Or…? The freshness date was good. But the hot liquid had just rolled off, just like rain on hardpan. SHAKING WELL before the next use eliminated the problem….ilovedaisies
Past 2 purchases were disappointing. Nothing to due with Keurig but Chai Latte tea. This tea lacked flavor and also aroma. Not only for 1 cup but additional 24 in box. Next box of 24 had the same issue. Prior to this no problems and completely delighted. For $17.00 a box of 24 you'd expect better quality control. When speaking with representative at Keurig.com about this only replacement of 1 box vs 2 which she stated would be 2. I looove a good chai latte, and I figured why not get my caffeine and not have to deal with the lack of flavor in the regular coffee. It is tasty, but definitely has hints of chemical tasting. I would buy this over the alpine start coffee any day. Compared to the regular instant coffee, this will leave more granules in your cup afterwards, and the smell lasts too. This brings me back to my title. It does the job, and I would recommend it.Harley
Soy chai dirty lattes are one of my favorite morning drinks, so I thought this would be a great little treat while camping. Instead, it tastes like you put a star anise pod in some old cup of noodle broth and tried to make instant coffee with it. I could only keep drinking it because I added a packet of a better type of instant coffee. It’s way too expensive and practically undrinkable.alyssar

I purchased this espresso but I knew I probably should not have since it is dark roast. I am not the biggest fan of a darker roast. I prefer milder tastes. If you like dark it is right up your alley. If you like more milder espresso's then this is probably not for you. I do like that these beans are fair trade and why I navigated to purchase in the first place
Philz "Tesora" coffee and Dutch Brothers coffee beans are my favorite coffees because of their smooth, full bodied taste but the price tag for these two coffee brands does not fit my budget. I then found Barrie and this guy makes me very happy. I like to grind my coffee beans fresh, place it in my french press, stir, press it and pour it into my mug…wow, I am happy for the day to start. I am ordering 2 more bags because it has become quite popular with my husband and older son.Caroline
