I’ve worn 50C Honey Beige Cover Crème (used to be Chroma 3 Honey Beige) for 30 years. I was interested in the “Cover care full coverage concealer” for a couple of reasons. I like the manner of application (using an applicator) instead of rubbing my finger or a sponge down in the little pot and smearing it on to my face. I also like that once it dries it is no longer creamy (which, even with setting powder, will always smear). It’s all good – except the color. After going through the painstaking “Shade finder tool” process, and looking at the minute swatches on multiple monitors, I ordered what seemed to be the closest match, 50W. It could not BE more ORANGE. It makes the 50C cover cream look gray by comparison. I can still use it- but I have to go BACK and cover it with the cover cream to correct the color. So what’s the point? I like the product, but need to find a color that would work. It appears that the darker the shade, the more orange it gets I don’t need a darker color, or a lighter color. I need a less ORANGE color. I would be willing to try a lighter shade (maybe 40W?) and mix 2 together. But honestly, at $28 a pop, it’s a pretty pricey crapshoot.DBbahboo
I have Type 1 Rosacea and dry skin plagued by eczema that flares up regularly, so finding foundation and concealer products that cover redness without accentuating flaky skin is super challenging. I try to follow a less-is-more philosophy with my makeup, so I like my concealer to do double-duty where possible. When I opened one of the two tubes of Dermablend Cover Care (color 5C), the fat doefoot applicator pulled off and I had to fish it out with my tweezers. I popped it back on but and have treated it carefully since, and it didn't happen again. The large applicator is really convenient because it holds a lot of product, so you aren't dipping back in the container over and over. For my face, I used my regular skincare products. My moisturizer doubles as a primer. Working on one side of my face only, I dabbed the Dermablend on my undereye, in the nasolabial fold, and around my mouth. I also applied it to some patches of broken blood vessels on my cheek. I then used a damp microfiber blending sponge and blended the concealer out so that I had a sheer layer over my whole face. I also used a bit on the red places on my decolletage, and blended that as well. The results were great! Even when blended, the concealer did a FANTASTIC job of covering everything and evening out my skin color. I don't generally use setting powder and I didn't feel like I needed any. Overall I think this is a great product for spot applications, used along with a regular all-over foundation. It is truly opaque and will cover skin discolorations from dark under-eyes to rosacea. I did notice that it didn't work well with the flaky skin near my nostrils, which is a trouble spot of mine. This concealer does feel a bit drying and, due to its opacity, "sits" on the surface of your skin. It's not translucent at all. It blends with a damp sponge but not with fingertips, it seems to "grip" and dry down quickly on the skin; this is probably what helps it resist smudging. I did notice the results created a kind of flat effect on my skin, so next time I will go in with a bit of contouring and some highlighter, maybe even blush.Giannarama
Product is terrible. Doesn't blend well, always separates and becomes flaky and patchy. Doesn't matter if I blend it with my fingers, a brush, or a sponge. Doesn't matter if I put it over or under my foundation (Dermablend brand.) If I use it with, or without primer. (Dermablend Brand, or other brands) or even just on bare skin. This has been my go to for about a year, while looking for my forever one. 75% of my makeup routine consists of acne fighting agents. So, i knew i wanted a concealer that did the same. Im not ENTIRELY sure if its really helping my acne or if it is just making it worse. Its medium to full overage but more on the medium side. It is not really buildable. At a certian point, (3-4coats), it gets very cakey looking and starts to just melt off. I usually try to wear less but then it doesnt dully concealer pre-existing acne. With it having the acne fighting agent, i think its not the best idea to have it sitting on your face all day. So I may change products soon.erika.b
I have used this concealer everyday for at least the last ten years and recommended it to all of my friends. Recently, something about it has changed. Ive been using the old almay formula for years and i was in the lightest shade (nc 25 for reference). The formula was an amazing thick whipped texture that blended seamlessly into my skin and was for the most part sweatproof and transferproof. IT didn't seperate or come off in patches, and covered redness LIKE A DREAM!! I came back to target to buy another one when i saw they repackaged it, and to my surprise the lightest shade being the darkest on me, oxidizing to an ugly orange color and applying patchy. This concealer was just awful on my skin. I do the same morning routine and skin prep every morning, and for some reason, trying to use this concealer with my daily routine was just a mess. It's patchy, and just doesn't stick to my skin, regardless of using my usual primer. It's like the more I blend it out, the more it slides across my skin and reveals my skin underneath the concealer. It clings to every little dry patch on my face, regardless of moisturizing beforehand, emphasizing dry patches I didn't even know I had. It just looked so textured and awful, my skin looked so bad. I even tried to layer my usual concealer on top of it as a last ditch effort and it just made my usual concealer look awful. This concealer sincerely made my skin look just plain gross. I had to wipe off everything with a makeup wipe, it was bad enough where I just couldn't fathom leaving the house like that. I wanted to really like it, I've been trying to find a new concealer that works for me that is also affordable, but I would really recommend to skip on this one entirely.Lyh
I'm very fair skinned. Often find consealers hard to match to ny complexion. I went for Light Sand. When testing on my hand, it seem to have a yellow tinge to it. However, once blended in and warmed into the skin, this becomes less yellow and well blended to match. As a pale, neutral tonne to my skin i found this shade very qell matched. Good wear to the product, however less is more. Adding to much will leave a creppy dry look so add a small amount then add if necessary but spreads well creamy, easy to blend, good wear and great size product for cost. I used a beauty consealer blender to apply and blend consealer. You may find foundation then consealer for under eye if you have creppy skin already or consealer then foundation for dark circles. I picked this up because I have been in between concealers and my current has been out of stock. This one came recommended as a really good option at the drugstore price point. I don't think I've ever panicked when trying to blend concealer, until today. I used a small amount on the inner corners of my eyes to start, the color was pretty atrocious, just gross. It highlighted my dark circles and they ended up greenish and still dark. It also was patchy and cakey. It would not diffuse at all. It was so awful I immediately washed it off. I thought maybe I'd just try it again with a fresher face, so I cleaned off all my makeup added a little extra eye cream to maybe help the product move more… however it was exactly as horrible as before. I have pretty sensitive combination skin. I would say under my eyes are maybe on the oily side, this product dried them out. I am in my 30's now and accepted the fact that my skin is different. A lot of foundations that might have worked for me back then, don't now. I have also turned to a make up minimalist and went from make up artist to I just need to look alive touch and go. The consistency of this concealer is thicker but not as thick as tarte's shape tape. It is similar to Nars creamy concealer. I was surprised by the shades. I was color matched in person. I am a light-medium with olive undertones, but the 11c looked a lot better on my skin. So be careful when selecting your shade. A little goes a long way. I applied with my fingers and felt that if I put too much it was hard to blend. Also it does dry down pretty fast, but that is why I dot a bit and blend. Dot and blend. I have very dry skin, I moisturize with my squalane face oil and my first aid beauty face cream. It seemed to have worked. If you have dry skin, make sure to moisturize. I feel that if you have oily prone skin this may work better on oily skin types because the formulation is a bit drying. Due to the formulation, I feel that if you have dark circles with fine lines, this may set into your fine lines or cling onto dry patches. It is an okay concealer. I am still on a hunt. Left eye has no product, right eye has a small dab of this concealer) I've been on the search for a concealer that can mostly cover my genetic dark circles and wont cake/patch, and will look natural if I only wear it under my eyes with nothing else on my face. She matched me to the shade 6C in this concealer. I thought this concealer might be good for me because of its moisturizing ingredients, and boy was I right! I tried it on in store and it looked pretty good, so I bought it. Later at home, I wanted to test this concealer so I washed my face and applied a small dot of this concealer without moisturizer or primer. I was SHOCKED. This has been my go to for about a year, while looking for my forever one. 75% of my makeup routine consists of acne fighting agents. So, i knew i wanted a concealer that did the same. Im not ENTIRELY sure if its really helping my acne or if it is just making it worse. Its medium to full overage but more on the medium side. It is not really buildable. At a certian point, (3-4coats), it gets very cakey looking and starts to just melt off. I usually try to wear less but then it doesnt dully concealer pre-existing acne. With it having the acne fighting agent, i think its not the best idea to have it sitting on your face all day. So I may change products soon.erika.b
I like that the concealer blends well, but I would say the coverage it provides is average at most. It covers up dark circles pretty well and I can use it to shape my eyebrows. But when trying to conceal my acne, it lightens up my acne, but the blemishes are still visible, Also I found that it won't stay on long even with a primer, and finishing products. however I want to have coverage over a blemish while I am out not a dry nasty bump that looks worse because I put a product on that failed.megan.w

Using the wand was helpful, but in order to not spread bacteria that causes zits, I had to sanitize my hands and apply the makeup to my finger and use my finger to apply- which doesn't look as good, but overall it works to cover redness in blemishes. I was willing to try your new one, beyond perfecting super concealer, and it has been a huge disappointment. I tried this concealer by accident ended up in love with it. I always wanted a full coverage but with a skin looking finish (if you know What I mean)..I have hyper pigmentation on my upper lips ( my mustache) lol. and I apply a very light layer with my fingers for a smooth finish and let it sit for a minute or so and if I need more coverage I apply a title more …a little bit goes a long way. The only thing to be aware is try it before buying because oxidation is like a shade different. I am in my 30's now and accepted the fact that my skin is different. A lot of foundations that might have worked for me back then, don't now. I have also turned to a make up minimalist and went from make up artist to I just need to look alive touch and go. The consistency of this concealer is thicker but not as thick as tarte's shape tape. It is similar to Nars creamy concealer. I was surprised by the shades. I was color matched in person. I am a light-medium with olive undertones, but the 11c looked a lot better on my skin. So be careful when selecting your shade. A little goes a long way. I applied with my fingers and felt that if I put too much it was hard to blend. Also it does dry down pretty fast, but that is why I dot a bit and blend. Dot and blend. I have very dry skin, I moisturize with my squalane face oil and my first aid beauty face cream. It seemed to have worked. If you have dry skin, make sure to moisturize. I feel that if you have oily prone skin this may work better on oily skin types because the formulation is a bit drying. Full coverage without the cakiness! I absolutely love this concealer! It doesn't crease like other ones I've tried, and it doesn't budge! It is perfect for days you don't want to wear anything but concealer since it blends so nice with skin. It also looks great when you want to put on foundation and be full glam too! Very reliable, versatile concealer! The sponge I really only use for emergency touch ups, but i like that it doesn't disperse the product so you can wash it if you need to! The doe-foot applicator is nice and has a spoon-like edge so you can get more product with one dip. With that said, a little goes a long way and you will definitely get your money's worth. Super hydrating and lightens up dark spots with the vitamin c! I am acne prone so that helps me with my scarring! For reference i have combination skin with dry & purplish pigmented hollow under eyes. I have been testing this concealor for few months now and sometimes it wore beautifully and sometimes it creased up like a mofo. So here are few things i noticed : 1)The first few hours it looks deliciously hydrated finish. Its like a thinner version of too faced. I have crazy pigment & although its not a full coverage it does a really good job in covering my dark circles without corrector. 2) This concealor has worked amazing for me whenever i have worn it in drier weather or cities who aren't humid at all. Whenever i wore it during peak summers it didn't last on me without creasing for 4-5 hours. 3) You also need to be careful what setting powder you use.. i personally use bareminerals and it just doesn't do it :/ If you use CT one go for it.. or even if you don't use any setting powder it doesn't crease on me. So for this price i give it a 3.5-4 star as i personally face creasing issues. Who is it for – people who prefer thinner coverage and for winters & drier weather.Gargs12
I'm still looking for a replacement for Clinique's Advanced Concealer, discontinued a few years ago. None of the other concealers have the pigment needed for full, long wearing coverage. I've tried Even Better All-Over Concealer + Eraser with and without the Even Better Primer and Color Corrector neither worked for my dark undereye circles. The consistency is too thin. Must be applied in multiple thin layers with added drying time in between. Too many steps – too much time. Set with Universal Blotting Powder also. Coverage is only fair, and it fades within an hour, while settling into my fine lines. Back to the store, back to square one.Dazy

I found my new favorite concealer!! I can't believe how affordable it is compared to what I was using before and this one is by far superior in many ways. First is the color. I have never ordered online and had the color match be so spot on. I'm still in disbelief. This concealer feels light on my skin and gives excellent coverage that is also buildable. It doesn't dry out my skin like the my previous go-to did. Also, this concealer doesn't create any excess oil on my skin. Am I the only person to NOT like this concealer or the only person with dry under eyes that's tried it? I'm surprised at the high reviews. I'm no makeup beginner and tried this several ways but it's just a fail. First off, my shade is described as "light with pink undertones" and it's one of the most yellow-toned concealers I've ever put under my eyes. I can't imagine what the yellow tones look like. I tried this using fingers, a brush and a sponge and this just wouldn't blend seamlessly no matter how hydrated my undereyes were. It looked powdery and patchy and definitely not like skin. It sits on top of my skin and emphasizes dryness. I don't want to set it with powder and further emphasize the dryness. But it creases if I don't. Also, my face isn't dry but when I tried spot concealing or blending down onto my cheeks, it made any texture, peach fuzz, etc very visible so I had to wipe it completely off. I receive this product as a gift but all opinions are based on my own usage of this product which I loved. I have pretty dry undereyes so its important I find a concealer that is not only hydrating but doesn't set immediately. I do wish I would have chosen different shades! Maybe some that weren't so yellow but I did chose another shade that had a neutral undertone and that was able to balance everything out! The pros: It feels almost gel-like and hydrating. But it dries down matte and it lasts all day without creasing on me. I've only found one other concealer that lasts all day on me, so this is impressive! It also spot conceals well. The cons: It's formulated with fragrance. Since I put this under my eyes, I probably won't be purchasing this again for this reason. There's no reason for fragrance in concealer! The color is also off. It has neutral undertones but with a peachy tint. It's also not very fair- this will be too dark on most fair skintones. I bake my undereyes, and this helps lighten the color a bit. But this concealer doesn't work well with powder otherwise. If you spot conceal and try to set it with powder, the powder bunches up around the concealer and clumps. It's weird. I attached two pictures. The first swatch is the Pacifica in fair neutral and the second is the concealer I've been using for years in fair neutral. I never see anyone talk about this concealer online, and it deserves way more love – this is a highly moisturizing formula so I do have to apply a tiny bit of powder to take the high shine down, but it's much more forgiving around my crepey undereyes than most concealers. And if you love the all-over dewy look, this will definitely fit that vibe. Coverage is quite good – I'd say medium-full – while still looking natural. It's also tough for me to find mid-range light shades that aren't too yellow, orange, or pink, and 17CL is perfect for me; I don't like highlighting my undereyes because it draws attention to all the creases. I have really dark, dark circles and shape tape has been my go to concealer for years. It's the only concealer I've tried that fully covers it and lasts all day. The KVD good apple concealer came close, but it's no shape tape. While I love and will continue to buy the original shape tape it has a matte finish which can look a little off when I do an all cream, dewy look. This concealer is just like the original in it's coverage, application, and wear. It's just a little bit more like a cream and gives a more natural finish. I am 45 years old with Light/Medium to Medium/Tan (depending on the season) combination skin, fine lines and hard to cover dark circles. I have been using Tarte Shape Tape Concealer for a few years and love the coverage and staying power, but found it to be a little dry. I use Tarte Double Duty Base Tape Hydrating Primer under my eyes before Concealer and it helps. I tried the NEW Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer in 34S Medium Sand (my winter color) and I love the way it seamlessly blends into my skin. However I found it to be a bit too sheer to cover my dark circles. I didn't lose hope and tried several combinations and found a perfect combo! I apply a thin layer or 2 of the Ultra Creamy Concealer under my eyes, depending on the kind of coverage I want for the day. It blends beautifully under my eyes and it plays nicely when blended out with my Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue foundation using a damp makeup sponge. I then apply a layer or 2 of the Original Shape Tape Concealer over the inside corners of my under eye area which are the darkest. I let it all set for a few minutes and add a very light layer of Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting powder in Honey and finish with Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. The Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer has the same staying power and look as the Original Shape Tape Concealer for me when used that way, but looks more natural and blends out nicely into my face and foundation without looking cakey or dry. I've been using this concealer since it came out and I absolutely love it. It's just as good as the original Shape Tape, only this one doesn't cake up or show off the texture in your skin. Not even in the fine lines and wrinkles. It's super hydrating and buildable. If you need a little extra coverage, no worries. Building it up will still leave your skin looking amazing…I set it with either a pressed setting powder or a loose powder. It stays in place all day, and there's no transfer. Love the actual concealer. Covers well and blends easy. BUT, the container it comes in is a terrible design. The brush system gives way more concealer than you’d need, forcing you to scrape of a ton on the side and it’s thick so it doesn’t really drip back down. Then when you screw the top back on, it will squish out the sides. Most times, there is enough squished out concealer in the side of the container that I can just dab a little on my finger and that’s all I need. I feel like I’m losing a lot of product by getting it on my hands or wiping squished out product off with a wipe so that it doesn’t get every where. I've purchases this 3 times now. I would say it isn't super heavy coverage, and someone who is into make up told me this wasn't very "spreadable", but for someone who doesnt know too much about make up (I do wear a full face on the weekends though- I work in a night club), id say this is a pretty good medium coverage product. I really like the ingredients which is what brings me back to it and it works well for me! I don't have much ance or redness to cover. Hope this helps. I know buying make up online can be tough. The ONLY less than positive thing that I've had with my experience with the 2nd skin concealer is the color matching…my first pick didn't work out and now my 2nd pick is borderline working/not working. However, I attribute this to not having the right shade of the 2nd skin foundation picked out originally and I was picking my concealer (reco to go 1 to 2 shades lighter than your foundation) based off my old use which "worked". I recently did a 2nd pass on the 2nd skin foundation sample pack and discovered I was 2 shades off on the foundation that looked best. Yes that is two, not just one! Back to the concealer…excellent coverage under the eyes and blends well with different foundations, does not leave dryness or settle in lines later in the day. Before I was just using the 2nd skin foundation under my eyes but I can tell a difference in using the concearler. I get better results, it looks better, feels like there is more coverage afforded than the foundation under my eyes. I previously used the cream concealer which I liked for a while but stopped using as it seemed to take awhile to settle/absorb under my eyes and after I applied my makeup for the day, the under-the-eye area looked more moist than the rest of my face with more of a sheen for a while. This product is a three-in-one, as it corrects, conceals, and highlights. Upon application, I found it to blend out immensely fast and it looked seamless on my skin. I used it as both a concealer and a corrector, and it completely corrected my eyelid discoloration and evened everything out to my liking. As a concealer, I used it to pre-treat all of my reddened blemishes prior to foundation application. Overall, I achieved a brightened, light-coverage with this, but that's exactly what the product claimed to be. I think this would pair perfectly with my lighter-coverage bases, where I want my natural skin to shine. I will never stop using Veil! I'm an actress and found out about Veil Complexion Fix from a makeup artist on set. He applied it to me each day and I was amazed that it still looked perfect after 14 hour days. I know there are so many out there and this is only the third one that I have tried but I feel like it's perfect for me the shade could be a little lighter but I just add a tad bit of the elf concealer to lighten it and it works amazing!! It goes on so smooth there is no sticky residue after applying it does not separate whatsoever it just feels so soft and melts into my skin like butter. One of my favorite concealers! It is creamy yet lightweight and has great coverage, both under the eyes and on blemishes. It takes no effort to blend and melts into the skin seamlessly, and still looks natural under the eyes. So, before we get into this review I have a standard for concealer for me lol, I have oily skin but I also like the dewy natural look so I need something not too matte but not too oily without thick coverage. Let me just say, this product is the B E S T. I bought this at target a while ago and the shade matches me perfectly! (I got the one the review is for) its got a lovely radiant finish that doesn't make me super oily and it lasts quite long. Its so creamy and blendable that you could use your fingers quickly if your in a rush and be flawless. It covers up acne well (not completely but I don't mind, I have mild acne) and is one of the best I've tried. If you do like full coverage though this would not be for you, as its more light/medium. I hadn't heard or seen of any reviews of this concealer prior to buying it. I bought it on a whim since it reminded me of the YSL concealer. I haven't tried the YSL concealer but also am not willing to dish out $38 + tax for one concealer pen. However, this concealer pen defied my expectations. For only $5, this product delivered more than it's money's worth. It's extremely blendable and doesn't dry easily after you immediately put it on. I've used concealers where, if you don't blend it out fully within 10 seconds of it sitting on your skin, it'll dry in splotches as you blend it out. I just use my ring fingers to blend out this concealer and it gives me medium (though buildable) coverage. It's not as pigmented as the Tarte Shape Tape but that concealer is pretty cakey and drying for me. This concealer is hydrating and, I believe it contains Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid which is double duty to also take care of your delicate under eyes to prevent it from drying out and wrinkling early. This concealer isn't heavy and feels extremely natural! I don't set mine all the time and it does fine, though I don't have very deep lines under my eyes. Occasionally, I'll set it with a very light sweeping of powder. This product doesn't look like it's a layer of product sitting on top of the skin but it melts into the skin and sits one with the skin. Love the "natural," effortless look! For it's price, this concealer is definitely worth it. Even then, if you have $5 to spare, it's totally worth a try! I bought this to replace my elf hydrating camo concealer in the shade Light Ivory, as the big Boots in my city centre does not stock it in store. I went for the shade 15w, admittedly too light so I was at fault there, but there were only so many testers to see what would be more suitable. The packaging is really nice, it’s a brush and in the other end you have ti click a button to dispense the product. This was a little annoying, as I tediously sat in my room repeatedly clicking the button for the product to dispense for ages. And when it did, a lot of the product had came out and was wasted. I have two creases under each of my eyes that blend out fine when I use the camo concealer with sponge and a bit of NYX setting power on top. So I did that on one side, and used the elf Flawless Brightening Concealer in shade Fair and found it creased a lot, and looked quite ashy. It was also quite sheer and the only brightening that occurred was that I had picked up a shade too light, not the actual product itself. This is a great product and I have it in two colors, one to match my skin for quick concealing and a lighter shade for under my eyes. The pen takes forever to produce product and when it finally does, you can't control how much comes out and often you get way more than you need. It works great. It isn't full coverage but it does cover and is brightening and I really appreciate the range of yellow, golden and olive shades as those are my perfect undertones. Beyond the applicator, my only gripe is that it should have more product in it. But, I still really enjoy it on the go. Stick type products let me do my whole face on the go and carry everything I need in my purse with minimal space.AnOmali

I have heard amazing reviews about this concealer but was reluctant to try it as i generally have bad experiences with concealers including very highly rated ones. I am in my early 30s, I have extremely dry skin with texture and lines from dryness. Most concealers tends to look like dried powder on my skin after it settles because of how dry my skin is and it emphasizes lines and texture so I have really struggled finding a nice hydrating concealer that works well with my dry skin and provide coverage that lasts. I recently purchased this concealer and I have used it every single day. Its creamy, hydrating, not oily looking at all and I am able to use it over my entire face and it sits beautifully on my textured dry skin. For me it cover blemishes beautifully and wears so well under masks and throughout the day, I truly am so glad I tried this. It wears very natural and radiant. It has exceeded all my expectations and now I do not think I can be without it. I will forever repurchase this, kosas please never discontinue this or ever change the formula. i honestly wanted to love this concealer and i still do for some reasons. this is my second kosas concealer bc the first one i got was too light for me (works well for around the face but not under eyes). anyways my main issue with this is it’s super yellow/olive no matter what shade you get. 6.8W which is my most recent purchase was described as peach undertoned however it’s superrr yellow underneath the eyes. now this isn’t an issue for the rest of my face since my natural undertones are olive so it works well for spot concealing. however if you have rlly dark circles that r brown / green veins slightly visible then babes do yourself a favour and skip on this bc it will only emphasize the dark circles. i’m sure a very high coverage peach colour corrector might work but since it leans olive – it’s just gonna counteract that corrector, so no point. its unfortunate bc its such a beautiful formula and makes the skin look so radiant. it’s also clean which is why i love it. if you don’t have dark circles or need a yellow / olive undertone concealer then def try this out otherwise if u have the same issues as mentioned above then skip hopefully they come out w shades that don’t lean yellow/olive in the futureShreen11
When it comes to concealer I tend to be a bit particular in terms of what I am looking for based off of my particular problem areas, etc. For me, I prefer a full coverage concealer that’s more yellow based to cover up my dark circles. In terms of finish, I do like my concealers to be somewhat matte as I do have oily skin and tend to like a uniform matte look throughout. After trying and testing this complimentary concealer however, I am still on the fence with it. While I do think the coverage on this concealer is pretty decent, unfortunately, I tried a shade that was a bit too cool for my warm skin tone and didn’t give me the brightening I was looking for and I needed to layer it with another concealer closer to my shade range. I also wasn’t crazy about the finish as it was a bit creamier and “radiant” for my liking. I think if you are looking for something for a natural, glowy look and feel this concealer is perfect. If you want something that’s matte and full coverage you should try something else. I personally am on the fence and unsure with thisTiffnista

Perfection! I’m surprised how much I love this concealer since I thought I loved Nars Matte Soft Concealer best. This tops my beloved Nars. It stays in place ALL day, doesn’t crease, gives excellent coverage, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eye area. I really liked this concealer at first. And honestly, for spot correction it still works pretty well. I really like how buildabke this formula is, so when I just want a bit of correction or light coverage, it's great. But, if you have dry skin beware. I bought this concealer before going on a trip to throw in my pouch and use it for touch-ups. It stays in place and works well in hot weather and during water activities. I spent a day on a boat with water splashing on my face and didn't feel the need to reapply. I have aging skin (40), and my under-eye area is usually a little dry, but I didn't find the formula to be drying. It has medium to semi-full coverage. It's buildable and light enough not to feel heavy or cakey. Just like you moisturize your face before applying foundation, you need to moisturize under your eyes before applying any concealer.katartar

This is the absolute best concealer I’ve ever used. Makes skin look like skin and completely waterproof so it stays put. I’ve been using it for decades and now my daughters are in love with it, too. What I adore about this concealer is its skin-like finish & layer-ability, and ease of just applying with my ring finger and not needing to powder set it. I used to believe I needed a thick full coverage product to get the look I was after, but that could result in a fairly cakey appearance as the day or night progressed/ or as my other makeup started to fade. I find with the Effacernes however, which albeit is a bit thinner by comparison, after a couple layers I get the perfect natural look with coverage; and it is Flexible so that it remains looking like skin throughout the day / night. How I apply, is just adding a layer, letting that first layer absorb a bit into my skin (as it sorta will) and then maybe 1 to 2 more light layers as I'm doing the rest of my makeup or hair (letting them dry a minute in between), until I have the brightness/ look I'm after and all looks complete. {Because I don't have to set it , I can just add a layer anytime easily and I Love that} The lightest shade is also a great undertone for my neutral skin however both light/ fair shades are SO DARK for me that I can only get away with them with my deepest *tan* in summer! I've tried mixing with other products to lighten them because I love the concealer so much but of course with the formula already being A+ to me, it resulted in a less than desirable finish & wear. In LOVE with this concealer! Was looking to replace another brand that discontinued the product I was using. This concealer is amazing. Covers well. Feels light and brightens just enough to give a fresh look. I don’t wear foundation often so I need a concealer that blends out well and looks natural but still covers enough to even my skin tone.
