I use it full strength or diluted depending on level of build-up. Practically melts grease right off. Oil Eater is my favorite degreaser currently. Amazing at cutting grease and grime. Cleans up easily. No adverse effects on any surfaces I've used it on. Also less toxic and better smelling than most. Buying by the gallon is almost as cheap as buying the 5 gallon containers, so overall a good value. I currently use Oil Eater in my heated parts washer as the MSDS says it is not toxic if inhaled. Water based and generally low safety warnings. While I can't tell everyone to do the same with their parts washer, so far it has worked fantastic for me. I had tried to get rid of the stains with other products, and none of them worked. I tried using Oil Vanish, and it seemed to have no effect on the oil stains on my drive way. Had I not used other products first, maybe it would have made a small improvement to the stains, but it did virtually nothing to the stains I had on my driveway. Something to also note was that the engine oil I was trying to clean was from a diesel engine, and maybe made the stains tougher to remove. I would not buy this product again. While changing the oil on my truck, a fair amount of oil spilled on the garage floor that seems to be very porous. It After wiping up most of it I used this product. It lift the oil up but the concrete still had a darker color but at least it was not slippery. Inside the garage I had an oil stain from the previous home owner that was over seven years old. It was not crusted in anyway but just wanted to see if it clean it up. I’d did clean some of it with only one application. I didn’t try a second application. I decided to try this product on the worst concrete stain I have. I have tried other products with no success. And, I might add, I was a bit skeptical that Goof Off would work since the application was so easy. On difficult stains you just shake the bottle, and pour it on the spot. You let it dry, then just sweep away the dried up solution which turns into a powder. I did not wear a mask while using this product , but would recommend doing so when you sweep up the dry powder residue. It's very thin and you could easily inhale it while cleaning up the area. There is no strong fume smell with this, but with any chemical product one has to use it with caution. So, I found my most difficult area, poured the Goof Off on the spot, and just did other chores. Later, at the end of the day I checked the area to find the dry powder residue. I swept it up and low and behold .. Goof Off does work! This is the cleanest I have ever got this area. Nothing worked before. I only used one application so I do plan on trying it again and on a larger area. I also have a spot on the driveway I want to try. I would definitely buy this product. This product is amazing and easy to use. After reading the other reviews I decided to use the full strength (after thoroughly shaking the bottles). I let it dry for 24 hours and then brushed off most of the powder residue and hosed it down. It didn't have strong fumes and it washed away easily. I was concerned it would bleach the concrete but it didn't. There are absolutely no traces of the oil stain and no traces of the cleaner. You let it dry, then just sweep away the dried up solution which turns into a powder. I did not wear a mask while using this product , but would recommend doing so when you sweep up the dry powder residue. It's very thin and you could easily inhale it while cleaning up the area. There is no strong fume smell with this, but with any chemical product one has to use it with caution. So, I found my most difficult area, poured the Goof Off on the spot, and just did other chores. Later, at the end of the day I checked the area to find the dry powder residue. I swept it up and low and behold .. Goof Off does work! This is the cleanest I have ever got this area. Nothing worked before. I only used one application so I do plan on trying it again and on a larger area. I also have a spot on the driveway I want to try. I would definitely buy this product. This product is amazing and easy to use. After reading the other reviews I decided to use the full strength (after thoroughly shaking the bottles). I let it dry for 24 hours and then brushed off most of the powder residue and hosed it down. It didn't have strong fumes and it washed away easily. I was concerned it would bleach the concrete but it didn't. There are absolutely no traces of the oil stain and no traces of the cleaner. I highly recommend this product but strongly suggest using full strength and not diluted.Thomas Winters

I have an apartment building where leaking trash is carried down the stairs often. Bleach works some but after a year some of those stains desired to stay. Then I heard about this product. I poured it on around 10am and by 4pm I started sweeping it up stair by stair. It was extremely dusty but I had the entire stairwell blocked off. I did not dilute it any. When I moved to eastern North Carolina 6 years ago I have not seen it on any shelve except once in O'Reilly. I recommend it for most cleaning purposes. We have been using Oil Eater for about 35 years. It is really good as a not so nasty degreaser as it has minimal smell, not like most degreasers. We saw it demonstrated at Price Club in the 1980's. The person dumped yucky motor oil on carpet & used this to clean it up. You dilute this with water to your desired strength. We use a mix of about 3 parts water to 1 part Oil Eater. We use it to clean up oil drips on the garage floor, keeping the truck engines clean, & spot cleaning the carpet & laundry. We are really glad to get it in 5 gallon buckets as they last a couple of years & it is hard to find locally. It was well packaged & arrived promptly.

I’ll give it a solid 4.5-5 stars, as it worked and worked well, although could probably be a touch stronger. I’ve only used it full strength, zero dilution. Cleaned oil inside my triple turbo piping off my Cummins truck like a champ, this is 3 piping that you can’t get down inside to scrub and it came out pretty much spotless. I ended up dumping all 20 gallons out of my parts washer trying to move the washer in the garage…oily nasty stuff. I imagined having a nasty oily mess to clean up but all I did was hit it with the garden hose and rinsed to the gutter. Not ideal I know but had no other options….so clearly this stuff works and works well when all you have to do is rinse it off. Ordering 20 more gallons to fill the the washer again. It WILL freeze, so if you’re in a cold environment keep that in mind. I plan to get one of those stick-on heating pads for the bottom of the tank…figure the heat will keep it thawed out. Use gloves as it leaves an odd film on your skin…and dries the hell out of your skin.Tim

For years i have had to either pay someone to pressure wash my house or borrow a friends pressure washer! Well not anymore!!! I found out about this by word of mouth. I thought id give it a try, i mean if it failed id just go get a pressure washer from a friend. So i mixed 1 gal of outside cleaner with 2 gal of water and pump sprayed on my house. That combined with a garden hose and my house was shiny white again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!!!!!Jlkiddy

Arundel store showed this is stock. Team members couldn't find it, although 14 listed in stock. Eventually bought when in stock at Southport. Used it today on small concrete tiled courtyard. Diluted to instructions, waited 15mins then scrubbed. Absolutely no difference at all. So disappointed. If it looks better after some time, will addend review but so far, waste of $30 🙁TasNet

I honestly thought this stuff was too good to be true and it is. After my first use on my vinyl siding I will never pressure wash again. My siding went from green and black to white. No more climbing up and down a 25 foot ladder, no more being soaking wet from pressure washing, and at a fraction of the time of cleaning I'm sold. Solid product that does as it says. I'm sold for life on this product!Derek
