I have used this conditioner for a couple of years. As someone with rather dry, dull hair I always aim to find the most nourishing haircare. The texture of this conditioner feels rich and creamy and spreads nicely throughout the hair. The scent is amazing and smells like coconut in the best way without being overly sweet and overpowering. This conditioner does a good job at nourishing my hair and making them feel soft. I would however not recommend pairing this with the shampoo as I found it to be pretty drying.Lulu9149
Well, just why pay this much for anything? If you are still wondering why you don’t get your dream hair yet, that’s just because you didn’t use this amazing hair product yet. Straight hair – olive fruit (could even get away without conditioner – here’s free money saving trick) ; curly or relaxed or “permed, bleached, and relaxed” (this was my hair), you really need this coconut line for your slightly wavy or very curly hair. And don’t save money, get this conditioner. A few years into using Kiehl’ so I got a bit too too adventurous with my hair experiment. I didn’t use it when I got it bleached permed and relaxed (there’s too much drama involved ) but my hair is now coming back to life a couple weeks back on them. My relaxed hair still had a dry and fragile texture, but using this coconut conditioner restored elasticity and the softness of it. Winter is really harsh on hair, usually my hair would lose softness completely through constant freezing. But do remember to let your conditioner sit 1-3 mins on your hair, you do want the good stuff to actually go into your hair.Ruthe Xin
I highly recommend this product! I purchased it because its chemical free . It will not lather much because it doesn't have the chemicals that mostly all of the products has. My daughter is 11yrs and has curly hair . She does not have color in her hair and it works wonders….its by far the best product I've found that works for her hair !! Love the scent of this shampoo!! The smell isn’t too strong but it smells clean and lasts. The shampoo rinses out so easily and I follow with the conditioner on my daughter’s hair, she has thin frizzy still filling in hair and it makes it so smooth! My youngest baby I just use the shampoo and it is still so soft and tamed her curls. Will never switch to another brand! The only issue I have is the bottle for the shampoo was shipped and came broken (won’t stay in the pump) but the quality of the product is amazing.Happymama
I love the product! It is very moisturizing, is a good value for the money. I am very sensitive and this product does not put off a noticeable scent which is another reason that I repurchased it BUT the problem I have is that the item comes unsecured in packaging so leakage occurs through the jostling around through the shipping the pump twists loose therefore letting product escape and leak into the box. The first time I ordered it it was secured with shipping tape and that was better but this time there was no shipping tape at all therefore more leakage occurred. I wanted to like this product. I’ve been looking for a gentle shampoo and conditioner that I can use on my 12 month old with dry curly hair. It worked well enough in terms of moisturizing and detangling, but the smell is so strong I can’t keep using it. It smells very perfumy and a bit musky like an old man’s cologne and the smell is so strong that both my daughter and I sneeze every time it’s used. Unfortunately I’ll have to toss the rest of the bottle as it’s just way too much scent for either of us. New look… NOT the same great formula. What were Paul Mitchell thinking ruining this? I had just finished my old bottles of the shampoo and conditioner when I repurchased huge liters because I never wanted to be without it. What a let down. The conditioner is super thin and doesn't smell the same. It is a pale bright green color, whereas before it seemed to have no dyes at all. It used to be thick and gorgeous and made my hair softer than anything else. I'm not exaggerating, this new formula is the worst conditioner I've ever tried. It provides no moisture. When I run my fingers through my hair while the conditioner sits (I do this to evenly distribute it), my fingers get caught in my hair. A sign the conditioner isn't doing its job. After I rinse my hair feels moisture was lost. This stuff causes breakage on my long, thick hair. It's a joke that they're still calling this by the same name. I love this shampoo and the matching conditioner! I tried it out when I got my hair cut at the salon in November of 2019 and loved the tingly feeling it gave my scalp. Got a travel size of both when I went out of state to visit family, and fell in love with the products. Purchased the full sizes after returning home, then re-purchased when I ran out. My scalp tends to get itchy and this set helps to relieve it. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth with great volume. It was also nice to have this around when my daughter and I picked up a case of head lice! Tea Tree, mint, and lavender are used in some of the natural lice repellents and this product makes no claims against lice but I think it may have helped. In the past year (plus a little) that I've been using this set I have used some of my other shampoos and conditioners (empty bottle challenges, anyone?!) but my hair loves me when I come back to my Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo and conditioner! I absolutely love this tea tree special color conditioner I also have the shampoo and this is from the Paul Mitchell line it is literally the best. You do spend a lot more money and the reason why I bought it is because I have seriously bad dandruff as well as scalp issues and when I went to the hairdresser she definitely recommended it I got it put in my hair just to try it out and it instantly changed my hair and treated the scalp well and a turnaround to make my hair super soft and shiny I kid you not I’ve been having issues for years I now have the big size bottles of this and they work wonders. The best part about it is that it works on colored hair. It doesn’t dry out and it doesn’t change the color and only using a small amount works well. I have low porosity 2B with fine strands, but a lot of hair. I typically leave this on for 30 min under a cap. Pros: made hair feel incredibly soft and manageable after rinsing out. Seemed to help with brittleness and strengthening the hair. Scent is delicious, exactly like a vanilla-mint cake batter. Cons: Not as moisturizing as I expected, still needed to add a lot of leave in after rinsing out. I would guess it’s maybe more moisturizing for high porosity. I would probably still buy it again but the Raw Sugar curl mask is my holy grail, and half the price.Jo
This hair care product is now one of my must have! I cut off using conditioner part of my hair care routine and decided to use on deep conditioners now that the harsh winter days are coming in. I used all kinds of conditioners from top name brands to even baby products! I just used this last night and my hair is beautiful! It's so soft, it smells soooo good that I can even smell myself! This is the first Camille Rose product that I have tried that I didn't like. All of the others so far have been amazing, but for whatever reason this deep conditioner left my 4a high porosity hair feeling drier and more like straw than before I used it. It is a very thick consistency, which I usually like. It seemed like it never fully sank into/was absorbed by my hair and after leaving it to sit for about an hour I could still see it sitting on top of my hair. It is also quite expensive so unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

This is my first time using a Pacifica hair care product. I have used a sunscreen of theirs in the past and I liked it so I thought I'd give this a shot.Pros:Smell is nice. I use Pacifica makeup because they're cruelty free & vegan plus they usually work wonderfully. I was excited to see them come out with haircare so I decided to try out both the shampoo & conditioner. Unfortunately, both products really let me down. The shampoo was drying and made my hair a tangled mess. The conditioner doesn't even make up for how drying the shampoo is! I'm used to using more conditioner than shampoo but I had to use twice as much as I normally would and that's a lot given the size of the product. I wanted to give them another chance, hoping it was a fluke. Nope, did the same thing the second time. I had to buy another bottle of a different conditioner to help the dryness the shampoo caused because it was making my scalp flake. I have a pretty oily scalp so for it to cause it to dry to the point of flaking, I just had to give up on it. If they improve the formula, I'll give it another go. This is the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used for softness, shine, and manageability. I have naturally curly, thinning, frizzy, colored/highlighted hair and this shampoo/conditioner worked wonders. It really helped reduce the frizziness of my hair and made it softer, shinier, and more manageable than any shampoo/conditioner I have ever used. I damaged my hair from doing bleach funky colors in my hair at home for over 2 yrs straight. I had breakage and fried ends. (Not the smartest I know.) So I've been doing a lot of at home treatments on my hair. After I wash my hair it's very crinkly and not a good texture. After growing it out some I plan on cutting off a bunch of it bur for the mean time I've been using this spray After washing and it's amazing! I spray a bunch (focusing more on my ends), massage it in, then put it in a quick bun and let it sit for quite awhile. I have been using Infusium leave-in treatment every day for perhaps the last 20 years I’m 28 years-old. I know this sounds extreme, but I actually don’t know what I would resort to if this product ever went out of production. I remembered when my mom combed this through my hair as a child when it was marketed as Infusium 23. My hair: I have thick, curly, frizzy hair. It’s dry and I generally use both gel and mousse in it when wearing it down daily. It’s a bit longer than shoulder length. This product is amazing. I apply it everyday beside styling as it eases the firmness of gel when you apply Infusium first. If it’s a weekend day and I’m just pulling my hair back, I apply this to wet hair first and it keeps it tame and reduces frizz all day. My hair feels so uncomfortable on the rare occasion when I might run out without realizing. If you have frizzy, dry hair this product will change your life. Oh, and it smells great. My boyfriend always compliments the smell of my hair. As a tip, this used to come in a pour spout bottle. It now comes in a spray bottle, but I was used to pouring it onto my hands, so I held on to an old bottle and transfer the spray bottles over. I’d suggest trying this, as I find the application to be easier this way, but it might be because I use a lot of this or was used to the older pour spout bottle. I've been using Infusium 23 since I started dying my hair 20 years ago. It's hands down the most moisturizing conditioner that blows all similar priced brands out of the water. They slightly altered the formula over the years and I really miss the old fragrance! But that's just my nostalgia, the quality of the conditioner is the same. Without this conditioner, I wouldn't have been able to maintain my waist-length color treated hair. I have extremely fine, straight hair that tangles easily, a lot of conditioners now have oils in them that coat my hair with a greasy film, making it tangle more. This review is for the rice water bars, and I never really write reviews because, honestly, most products I try aren't that great. I have long pink hair which has been bleached and colored for several years. Since my hair is so damaged and long I've tried every single insta, fb, social media product that promises to fix my hair and I have FINALLY found it!!! I was extremely skeptical about this. I was expecting this to be average at best. Imagine my surprise when I rinsed my hair and it felt like silk. I couldn't believe it. I love this conditioner. I’m mixed & have curly hair that’s finicky but this conditioner works wonders. I just wish it didn’t break apart so quickly! I have all these little broken off pieces that I then have to try & smash up into a paste in the shower which is annoying, particularly because I have health issues which make that difficult (dexterity wise & because I’m not supposed to shower longer than 5 minutes.) And I’m not keeping the bar in the shower so it’s not getting wet or anything, it just disintegrates quickly. I haven’t had this issue with the shampoo bar (and the shampoo has lasted twice as long as a conditioner bar!) I’d love to know if there’s an easier way to use the broken pieces…Courtney S.
I struggle with conditioners. I have very long hair (to my tailbone), and it’s very fine and fragile but easily weighed down. I also have very sensitive skin, and most conditioners will give me horrible body acne. I am especially sensitive to coconut oil, which seems to be in 90% of conditioners these days. This Rice Water Protein conditioner bar has been a game changer. It’s light enough to not weigh down my hair or make my back break out, but my hair feels so soft and actually conditioned. I still struggle with split ends, but that’s due to my hair being so fragile and my bad habit of wearing it down when I sleep (the friction is terrible for your hair — braid it before bed!). I have tried tons of conditioners, including conditioner bars, and this is the only one that’s been good for my hair AND kind to my sensitive skin. I put a heavy dose (about 2 oz/60 mL) on my level 9 shoulder length hair that was looking VERY yellow. left the shampoo on for 3 minutes before using matrix lamellar water and it looks like i did a toning treatment at the salon. prior to this i used John Frieda Violet Crush but i always felt like instead of helping to tone it just made my hair look muddy and made me want to strip it, bleach it, dye it, anything to cover up the ugly dullness. This shampoo actually has HEAVY DUTY pigment to overhaul ugly brassy tones but isnt just "dumb purple pigment" that doesnt even help like Violet Crush. The Lanza also made my hair SOOOO soft and shiny and sleek. The entire texture feels different which might be partially due to the matrix product byt even in the shower when I was lathering it up it was soft and moisturizing!ellelee

My first experience with L'ANZA products was when I received a sample. My hair is very thin and fine, so I'm always looking for products that give it more body. I loved the sample and immediately ordered the thickening shampoo and thickening conditioner when I saw that they were an option. I can't say that the thickening was much different from the samples that I had tried. However, these products do not weigh my hair down and do leave my hair shiny with no loss of color fading. I find that my hair dries much faster and the styling seems to stay very well also. Obviously, I am very happy with these products! Background: I am testing out different shampoos and conditioners to figure out which is actually the best since everyone seems to be bought out by function of beauty. I have thick hair for a caucasian girl that is straight/ wavy but can hold any hair style i put it in. I usually wash my hair 1-2 times a week. My hair is dyed with a balayage (to mediate a tragic bleaching incident three years ago) and now I am having fun with the l'oréal color conditioners. My scalp is normal and I like products with a lot of moisture for my medium/ long hair. First impressions:it was nice but was not anything special. After two months of use: The shampoo was un spreadable and barely cleaned my hair, I had to up every time i washed my hair. Conditioner provided almost no moisture was thin, I like a thic conditioner. I am not a picky person with my shampoo and conditioner, but this is absolute garbage which sucks because the packaging is so pretty lol. I recently purchased the Lasio Hypersilk Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask bundle.
I used the shampoo and struggled to get the conditioner out of the plastic bottles tiny hole as you have to shske it over and over again upside down it you can not squeeze plastic bottle. Finally a little conditioner seeped out for me to use. These two Lasio products rough up the cuticle on the hair so it became straw like. I immediately requested a return authorization from Lasio who responded there is no refund policy , no returns and suggested to use less product. I tried less shampoo, attempted to rinse it out and it dripped into my eye with the water and burned so badly as though I dumped acid in my eye ! It makes my hair so soft. But, I’ve noticed more hair loss through shedding as well as breakage. Also, it does not make my hair shiny, it actually kind of gives it a dull and “heavy” appearance. The smell is not so great in my opinion. It smells artificial and plastic like. One awesome plus is how easily my hair detangles! Like I have literally no tangles after washing my hair. But, I can’t continue using it due to the negatives. I’ve used other L’Oréal Elvive products before and loved them but there’s just too many negatives with this shampoo.poison ivy
The smell of this L’Oreal great lengths shampoo and conditioner is intoxicating! It smells absolutely fabulous! The shampoo cleans well and moisturizers, and the conditioner is amazingly moisturizing. My long thick hair tangles easily and always requires additional moisturizers after my shower. Not with the shampoo and conditioner! I do not have to add any other conditioners to my hair and at least my hair very light and easy to style! Great product! I love the Dream Lengths products! Finally something that got rid of the winter dryness and static in my hair!! I have waist-length hair and the indoor heat and dry winter air had my ends super dry. Now my ends are soft and the wave is back in my hair, no more flat winter hair. I use the Elvive Dream Lengths Restoring Shampoo and the Dream Lengths Super Detangler Conditioner in the shower, then put a light amount of Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream on as a leave-in on towel-dried wet hair (on length of hair, not on scalp) before I comb my hair with a wide-tooth comb. I've been putting a little extra of the cream on my ends after combing. I use the Dream Lengths Frizz Killer Serum in the morning on dry hair to add shine (I rub a small amount between my hands then smooth my hair with it). All these products leave my hair super shiny (other people have noticed) and no longer dry or frizzy and my scalp feels clean even if I skip washing. This is such a great product! I had box dye in my hair, ehivh greatly damaged my virgin hair into being frizzy and dull and dry. Instantly, I applied 2 quarter sized amounts of this conditioner into my hair after using a regular shampoo and I doubted it at first, but after letting it dry in my towel, my hair brushed out so smoothly without any knots in my hair as usual. I love the CHI serums and hair straightening hot tools, but I have to say that this Keratin Conditioner was awful on my hair. I was shocked since I am a fan of other CHI products. I have curly/somewhat textured hair. This conditioner left my scalp greasy and my ends horribly dry and not smooth at all. Ends also felt brittle and just looked damaged overall. This conditioner is 10/10. I have tried “The One� conditioner and have also loved that one as well, but this one has different benefits. For one, it’s super light and not as thick as some conditioners, the slip is great. My hair used to look so dull if I didn’t wash it and now it looks shinier and feels super soft. My hair doesn’t feel heavy. The no fragrance makes a huge difference because I don’t have those extra unnecessary chemicals drying out my hair. One con for this is the bottle size. I should’ve bought a bigger bottle because of my thick hair I have to use a lot of product. The small bottle featured in the photo was between $10 and $13 and lasted me about 2 weeks. Overall I would definitely buy this again, just a bigger size.kell.p
I am not high maintenance at all when it comes to hair care. I prioritize my preference to skincare etc. After running out of shampoo I decided to try this one since I love the Kristin Ess texturizing spray. Biggest mistake! This formula literally caused my head and scalp to become insanely itchy and when you scratch, since the formula is so drying, your scalp gets flaky. It’s not dandruff, but looks like it because of all the flakes. I’m so disappointed with this product. I’m literally running to target tomorrow to find something else because I can’t possibly bear another wash. It’s that drying. Not to mention my hair looks way drier than usual and dull. I used this shampoo only once, and I could feel it making my hair a strange brittle texture as I washed it. I can generally wash my hair and not use conditioner, except for the first week after I get highlights. I could not even run my hands through my hair after washing. Needed to use a conditioner, and then still had trouble getting a brush through it. The bottom 2 inches of my hair remain unmaneageable since I used this product. Now I am forced to use conditioner just to brush through my hair after washing, even though I am using my previous shampoo. Very unhappy that it basically wrecked my hair. My husband, who has virgin hair, has no problem with the shampoo, but does use conditioner. The only reason I even tried this was because there is no scent. That is the only plus.
