Matrix Instacure Anti-Breakage Shampoo has a beautiful fragrance. It's very strong. It lingers in my hair. Others have mistaken it for perfume. It does lather but not as much as the brands I ordinarily use. My hair feels soft and clean after use. I don't feel the need to use additional products. What I found interesting after using this product is my hair is returning to its natural condition. My hair is damaged and because it's graying has an almost brassy and harsh shade. Matrix softened the color. I don't dye my hair. I limit the products I use. I air dry it after I wash it. My hair is still damaged but noticeably less than before. I was so excited to try the Matrix Instacure Porosity Spray while also being prepared to be disappointed. I have such a hard time finding leave in conditioning products that don't leave my hair feeling greasy and weighed down. My hair is damaged with split ends and breakage so I am always trying to fix it. To start, I love how convenient and mess free the bottle is. The smell is amazing and lasts forever which I appreciate. My routine with this is to shampoo and condition first. I then apply this to damp hair from mid to ends. While this product is also a heat protectant, I have been trying to minimize any damage so I have been air drying. I have to say I absolutely love this spray! My hair looks and feels healthier and smoother. The breakage and frizz are now tame and soft. This shampoo comes in a very tall and soft plastic bottle in a bright hot pink shade with a flip top lid. The shampoo itself is creamy and lathers nicely. A 20c size squirt is enough to coat the entirety of my scalp. Although I typically prefer fragrance-free products, I did not mind that this shampoo has a bit of a fragrance, at least initially. It does not linger after the shampoo is washed out. In terms of results, this shampoo cleans well and does not leave my scalp feeling stripped, rather it feels refreshed and balanced. I have thin, fine, curly hair that is oily on top and dry on the ends, so not the best hair. Anyway, this shampoo doesn’t make my scalp oilier, or the ends drier, and gives good volume. It also appears less frizzy when using it, but it is way less humid in TX right now, so tough to judge on that. It really looks a lot better on the days I use it. I would say this had a slightly more noticeable smell than the matching shampoo. I’m glad it didn’t have that overpowering smell a lot of dandruff hair products have (this was only slightly minty). I would use this normally during dry winter months, especially if I was dealing with dandruff/flaky scalp. Had a subtle cooling effect, but the menthol/cooling is more noticeable the longer you leave on. Says to leave on 1-3 mins and I left it for up to 5 a couple times. Hair was soft after rinsing and air dried nicely. Scalp felt normal (not dry). My hair was quite bouncy the following mornings. I’ll prob keep this as a once a week conditioner for if/when scalp is really dry or use more frequently depending on scalp condition. Getting to THAT age, and the loss of my much loved horse made my already fine and straight brown hair fall out constantly. I was slow to notice then suddenly it was gone and I thought that was it. Then I found Watermans online and thought, lets givd it a go. By now I felt ugly and sad, a womans hair is her crowning glory right? I bought thd shampoo, the conditioner, the tonic and the tablets. If I was going to do this, I was going to do this. That was 8 months ago and my last purchase was the salon size bottles and the reason? I'll nevef use anything else now. My gair has grown back thicker, stronger and in better condition than its evef been, well, since I was in my 20's and I feel so much better on the inside too. I've only been using the shampoo and conditioner for less than a month, so I can't really comment on the growth element of it (I think that'd take more than a month anyway, to be honest), but I can say I've been really enjoying using these products. The very first thing I noticed after using this for the first time was how much easier it was to comb my hair through after getting out the shower – as someone with pretty long hair, this was really impressive, as usually it takes me ages to detangle it! The next thing I've noticed is how much less hair I'm seeing in my brush/comb when I brush or comb my hair now – there used to be loads, but its definitely reduced since I started using the shampoo and conditioner. The smell of both is lovely, nice and fresh and minty, and I feel like it really nourishes my scalp. Having to leave the shampoo on for 4 minutes and the conditioner for 3 minutes took a bit of getting used to (I'm usually a wash-rinse-and-go kinda gal) but I've just been busying myself with doing other stuff whilst I've left it to do it's thing! I haven't quite finished both bottles yet, so I will continue using them until I have and see if there has been any more difference to the growth of my hair. I'm 99% sure I'll repurchase, for no other reason than to keep using it so I can see if this will actually make a difference to my fine, thinning hair! All other products to help stop hair thinning are super expensive so to find something like this which is much cheaper is much, much better because even if, ultimately, it doesn't work, at least I won't have forked out nearly £40 on some chemical hair loss treatment that probably isn't great for my poor scalp – at least this feels nice and natural. The watermans products did make my hair feel soft and manageable. However I unfortunately didn't see much hair growth, and my thinning hasn't stopped. I have used the products for 5 months without results. I think it's time to try something else. A lot of other reviews suggest it does get results, and overall my hair does feel healthier so I would say its worth a shot, but unfortunately not the miracle I was looking forBreanna H.

Love this conditioner! Would recommend adding this to your haircare routine for extra shiny, healthy looking hair! It's pricey but if you're able to splurge for hair care would highly recommend trying this. You just need a small amount and don't need to use it everyday. I usually use it every other day or so and it leaves my hair super shiny and healthy looking! I noticed a difference once I started using this and recommended it to my family and friends who also love this! I really didn’t expect this brand to live up to the hype. Which might sound odd considering how much I spent on it lol. It REALLY made my hair shiny and healthy looking. I was using Drybar liquid glass (still love it but it just doesn’t produce this kind of result) and Amika flash shine before I got this set. I don’t need anything else when using this brand. My hair looks GLORIOUS!!! I have lost a lot of my volume due to autoimmune diseases and anything “shine” related would weigh it down and make it look oily (except instant flash shine by Amika). With Oribe I don’t have that. My hair has so much volume and looks the healthiest it ever has (chronic hair colouring) and I just can’t say enough about it lol. I use the shine cream too and I was shocked to see it also didn’t weigh down my hair at all. My only complaints are the scent and the fact that the cream isn’t a heat protectant. I don’t like having to add so many products to my hair but I’ll do it for these results. I also like my shampoo and conditioner to have a scent and this stuff doesn’t have one or if they do it’s VERY light. This set is definitely worth the ridiculous price. I was swayed by all the reviews and decided to buy this. After bleaching my hair the texture is a mess! I’ve gone from sleek and smooth to puffy frizzball and I resemble Monica from friends as soon as there is any bit of moisture in the air. Step forward ORIBE! I used this for the first time today, at first I thought I’d used to much but eventually it dried in my hair and left no residue. What I was left with after drying was beyond my wildest dreams! I damaged my hair from doing bleach funky colors in my hair at home for over 2 yrs straight. I had breakage and fried ends. (Not the smartest I know.) So I've been doing a lot of at home treatments on my hair. After I wash my hair it's very crinkly and not a good texture. After growing it out some I plan on cutting off a bunch of it bur for the mean time I've been using this spray After washing and it's amazing! I spray a bunch (focusing more on my ends), massage it in, then put it in a quick bun and let it sit for quite awhile. Once my hair is dried and styled my ends look so much healthier than when I skip using it. The texture is much softer and sleeker. Love this stuff!rachel.k
I have been using Infusium leave-in treatment every day for perhaps the last 20 years I’m 28 years-old. I know this sounds extreme, but I actually don’t know what I would resort to if this product ever went out of production. I remembered when my mom combed this through my hair as a child when it was marketed as Infusium 23. My hair: I have thick, curly, frizzy hair. It’s dry and I generally use both gel and mousse in it when wearing it down daily. It’s a bit longer than shoulder length. This product is amazing. I apply it everyday beside styling as it eases the firmness of gel when you apply Infusium first. If it’s a weekend day and I’m just pulling my hair back, I apply this to wet hair first and it keeps it tame and reduces frizz all day. My hair feels so uncomfortable on the rare occasion when I might run out without realizing. If you have frizzy, dry hair this product will change your life. Oh, and it smells great. My boyfriend always compliments the smell of my hair. As a tip, this used to come in a pour spout bottle. It now comes in a spray bottle, but I was used to pouring it onto my hands, so I held on to an old bottle and transfer the spray bottles over. I’d suggest trying this, as I find the application to be easier this way, but it might be because I use a lot of this or was used to the older pour spout bottle. I've been using Infusium 23 since I started dying my hair 20 years ago. It's hands down the most moisturizing conditioner that blows all similar priced brands out of the water. They slightly altered the formula over the years and I really miss the old fragrance! But that's just my nostalgia, the quality of the conditioner is the same. Without this conditioner, I wouldn't have been able to maintain my waist-length color treated hair. I have extremely fine, straight hair that tangles easily, a lot of conditioners now have oils in them that coat my hair with a greasy film, making it tangle more. And all the high end salon conditioners I've tried still leave my hair feeling dry and brittle. Infusium always makes my hair silky smooth no matter how damaged it is .Andraya

This conditioner is amazing! Of all the conditioners I’ve ever used (I’m in my 20’s so I’ve been through a looot of conditioners!) this one is by far the best. I don’t need a huge amount of it to get my hair untangled, and when I do brush through it I barely have any tangles at all. It’s also very gentle on my hair and the smell is light and not overpowering. So impressed with this product and very glad to have found it. Okay, at first I was suspicious about this product because I really only knew Sun Bum for their sunscreen so I was a little confused seeing they did products for hair. But guys…this product is AMAZING. As someone who constantly buys products to help her curly hair, this has been a life changer. I bought this on a whim because I was like, what's the harm in another product supposedly for curly hair? Boy was I surprised!! I used to cowash because I was having such a hard time keeping my hair from getting frizzy but as a consequence my roots would get kinda greasy and sometimes my curls didn't look as hydrated as the cowash would advertise. Finallyyyyy I found a product that actually hydrates my hair, makes it look great curly, and isn't making it frizzy or puffy. The only con about this product is that I really really wish they made versions of this product in larger bottles because the conditioner tends to go quickly especially if you have long curly hair like me. Delicious! Smells so good! I bought it to control frizz in my wavy hair. I am using in conjunction with the Curls & Waves Styling Creme and it is a nice combo for soft hair. I've tried a lot of different specialty curly hair product brands and I'm really in love with this conditioner. It has wonderful slip, which is a must for my hair type (2c/3a, fine). The scent was a bit strong at first, but I've gotten used to it now. I always let it sit on my hair for a few minutes before fully rinsing it out. I noticed an improvement in my hair after 2 washes: better curl pattern and more shine! This is my go-to conditioner now. It doesn't weigh down my hair either. I never tend to buy new shampoo/conditioner bc I never believe that they actually do what they are marketed for, but I'm honestly pleasantly surprised with this shampoo and conditioner line! I have 2C 3A mixture of curls and waves that are very dry (prob from getting my hair highlighted blonde every 8 weeks). I did see a difference during/after my first use. I noticed incredible slip with this line and after I noticed that my hair was much more shinier and had a silkier/softer appearance. My blonde hair color still looks vibrant. Overall very happy with this product. I think I will balance it out with protein based shampoo and conditioner every now and then to have a healthy moisture protein balance. Only complaint- CurlSmith please move towards sustainable packaging. These really should be in glass bottles, as they are designed to look like they are. I want to buy products and not feel guilty about it.

I bought this at the recommendation of my colorist, and if a professional recommended it, you know it's good. At first I was hesitant to replace the conditioner that I've been using for the last 3 years – I regularly get my hair bleached and toned to silver (from naturally black hair) so aftercare is extremely important. I have a pretty strict hair regimen that I follow to keep my hair moisturized, and tangle and split end free. This conditioner went beyond my expectations. It is ultra hydrating, smells great (it has a citrus scent), and more importantly the results last. When I apply it to my hair, it immediately makes it slick and easy to detangle with my fingers. I then leave it on for 3-5 minutes and do the rest of my shower routine. After my shower, my hair is soft and easy to brush through. What's even more surprising is that my hair actually retains the moisture from this conditioner over time. I only wash my hair 2-3x a week and normally it starts feeling dry on the second or third day and I need to use hair oil, but with this conditioner my hair has continued to be manageable and hydrated even after time has passed. I have not noticed any split end issues since I started using this conditioner a month ago. I would consider this a top option if you're looking for a great silicone-free conditioner!ashley.🥀
This stuff is absolutely amazing. I've used entire tubs of 60 dollar hair masks, 30 dollar conditioners for 4 ounces, and many conditioners at or around the price point of this conditioner for less ounces. This conditioner is 28 USD for 8 oz. I spent years basically torturing my hair. I dyed it weekly and bleached it often constantly putting color in and bleaching it out. I used ethnic hair relaxers that literally melted my hair because of the lye. So the last 3 years i did highlights or lowlights twice a year if that. I washed my hair the day after my roots got too oily to manage which was every 4 to 6 days. But I have extremely thick and curly hair that I blow dry and flat iron on wash day and flat iron or curl or crimp on every day in between. There was nothing i could do about that as I hate my curls more than the damage and the curl pattern was beyond broken anyway from the years of flat ironing daily. Despite all of the conditioning treatments, heat protectants, smoothing treatments, and styling products used my hair had a ton of breakage and split ends and when I washed my hair it knotted up and without two rounds of a lot of conditioner there would be no coming back from it. Idk why this was as I trimmed my hair and did everything right but nothing changed. That is until now. 1 week and 3 uses later my hair was not knotted in the shower and after one use it was shiny and actually healthy looking. It was and continues to be amazing. Really really good conditioner! I splurged on the big bottle and didn't regret it a bit. It's very concentrated so I don't have to use a ton, even when my hair is longer. This is one of those products you should not rinse out entirely, leave at least a little bit in your hair for the best effect. It really helps to give the appearance of fuller hair while still looking natural. It's not a volumizing product so it doesn't enhance that or add texture, but makes the hair look denser.

I love this stuff! It works really well on my hair, which is thick, on the course side and processed with highlights, so deep conditioning is very important to me! The real magic happens when leaving it on for the longest duration per the instructions, which is 5 minutes. Of course this depends on your hair type, so some might need less time to condition. The smell is wonderful and so refreshing! I really like the fact that it does not have a hefty price tag, which goes to show you can have healthy hair without spending an arm and leg! I’ve used OGX many times because I am obsessed with the scents they offer. I’ve loved the ocean minerals set and also the coconut milk ones. I got this conditioner as a Christmas gift as well as the shampoo, and after three days of usage I noticed that my hair felt dry and my scalp was sore and itchy like it had been chemically burned. This type doesn’t have a yummy smell like their other coconut products, it smells like a strong perfume which I hated. After a few days of using something else, my hair and scalp healed. I have the most damaged, most processed hair and it’s extremely matted. I bought olaplex shampoo for 30$ and my hair got worse? oh my god wanted to cry every single day. At this point i convinced myself nothing can help my hair. I try to avoid non cf brands as much as i can but suddenly remembered i used ogx argan oil shampoo and conditioner years ago and was quite satisfied with it but my hair wasn’t that bad back then. Living Proof gifted me this product and the accompanying conditioner in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks now. I have dry, thin, often frizzy hair and a sensitive scalp. I have previously enjoyed the PhD in-shower styler and dry shampoo from Living Proof, but this is my first time trying out shampoo and conditioner from the brand. I love the scent of living proof products and this one is no different. The fragrance in this shampoo isn't too overpowering and it doesn't irritate my scalp, but it does keep my hair smelling nice for a while after I shower. I love the sleek matte packaging of this product. It's easy to use and it looks nice without trying to do more than it needs to. I do find that this shampoo and conditioner combo helps to tame the frizz in my hair. I saw this product on a show. They showed a lady to has heat damaged her hair using hot irons, curling irons, etc and was experiencing serious frizz as a result. They treated one side of her hair with the shampoo, conditioner and no frizz styling cream and the other side they left untreated. They proceeded to use a steam releasing appliance and viola, her hair did not frizz. These products work to eliminate frizzy hair by blocking humidity – and without weighing hair down (sulfate-free). First thing I notice as I am using the shampoo, my hair is not tangling as usual and the shampoo has a very nice citrus scent .. After rinsing out the shampoo, I used the conditioner. I used according to directions and my hair felt wonderful and moisturized. Next, I used the leave-in conditioner and began to blow dry my hair. These products left my hair with lots of shine, manageable and so light, bouncey and straight that I had to look twice. I do color process my hair so it was very important that I used a product which did not strip or dull my color. It rained that day so I had a chance to see if the product worked. It did!!!!! So I decided to use products to help my hair since I’m desperate to grow my hair back to how it use to be but nothing has been working until my dad came across this product and had me try it out, and I only used it two times a week for 2 weeks and I already notice a different in my hair and that my hair is growing, I also have curly hair and my hair would get frizzy a lot so I’d always put it in fishtail braids but when I didn’t have a chance to I noticed my hair wasn’t so frizzy and it was silky. This is a fantastic deep conditioner! If you don't like thick deep conditioners or hair masks, this is not the product for you. What I loved most about this product was the fact that I could apply generously, but didn't use a lot. I have type 4, dry, low porosity hair, and needed a thick mask to use occasionally when my hair feels dry. After applying the product, I let it sit in my hair for about 30-45 minutes with a plastic cap and it did its thing. My hair was left moisturized and the mask was easy to wash out. The scent of the product is light when you open the jar, but once applying it, it does increase a bit. For some reason, it had a very masculine scent to me, but it wasn't too offputting. If your hair can tolerate coconut and thick masks, this is the product for you. My only recommendation is to avoid ordering it online and try to find the product in stores because the price is nearly double the amount than it should be.Sunny

The smell is not as bad as people are saying, it smells like a cologne but like a good cologne. And I honestly prefer that to have it smell super sweet and fruity. So it depends on your preference. Five stars because I am impressed: I used no product after shampooing and conditioning my hair and it DID leave my hair noticeably softer with less frizz. I showered like 2 hours before going to bed and I went with my hair slightly wet because I was too tired to diffuse or blow-dry and woke up with soft, full, untangled, frizz-free waves (my natural hair is 2A, on the thicker side). I also sleep on a satin pillowcase, but overall, very happy with this purchase and would buy again. This is my absolute favorite go to shampoo! I will not buy any other products currently. I have extensions in my hair and since extensions do not get the natural oil from your scalp, your have to use additional moisturizer to keep them healthy. These products does just that. I need to start by saying I haven't tried this yet – it just arrived in the mail today. BUT, I'm really weirded out by the ingredients on the bottle being literally 100% different than what's posted online! ACTUAL ingredients are: Water, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, dimethicone, Benzyl alcohol, Cetrimonium chloride, fragrance, dehydroacetic acid, citric acid, tocopheryl acetate, lactic acid, propanediol, blueberry fruit extract, honey extract. I mean WOW. NONE of the proteins listed on the website are in this. Normally, I don't look specifically for protein in my conditioner, but this time I did!! I wanted a "balanced" conditioner that was moisturizing AND had a little protein, and then I also purchased a protein free hydrating hair mask….my hair does best with SOME protein somewhat regularly…. I'm going to try it out tonight when I wash my hair, but if I don't absolutely love it, I'm returning it, because it's simply NOT what I thought I ordered. I'll post an update after I use it, but mainly I'm very disappointed in Ulta at the moment. Accurate listing of ingredients should be the NUMBER ONE priority online, for obvious reasons!!!! As a woman with wavy hair that frizzes horribly whenever the humidity is high, and let's be honest, the humidity is high in the Southeast, I thought I'd try out Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Shampoo and Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Conditioner. I purchased my product at a local Sally's Beauty Supply, and they said that if I didn't like the product that I could return it, which is a win win situation for the customer. What I didn't realize until I was using the product is that for the best results, Biotera recommends using not only the shampoo and conditioner but the leave in conditioner as well. Since I didn't buy the leave in conditioner, my review is solely on the shampoo and conditioner. For those of you who don't like a strong scent, then you'll be pleased with the light scent of this product. The aroma has hints of cinnamon apple. Where I love the scent of cinnamon and apple, I personally don't care for the two scents to be mixed together, so this was a negative for me, even with it being lightly scented. Despite me not using the leave in conditioner, the products worked exceptionally well on my hair while we had several days of rain. There was the slightest bit of frizz, but that was nothing compared to how bad my hair normally frizzes in the rain. I was very pleased with the results. The pricing is a little bit higher for the Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Shampoo and Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Conditioner than what I pay for TRESemmé or Herbal Essences. So I really loved this shampoo when I first started using it. My hair felt nice and shiny. I've been using it about 3 months now and in the last month or so I've noticed my scalp is crazy dry and itchy. I figured it was the Arizona sun, until I realized my hair has thinned about 50%. I thought I was crazy until my esthetician pointed it out as well. I went online and found out it contained a chemical called DMDM hydantoin that is linked to hair loss/contact dermititis and is a super popular allergen.brandy.l
I have tried the original and the generic version and while there's a slight difference, it is not enough to make worth the price difference. Biolage shampoo has a delightfully clean and fresh smell to it. Lather is nice but it stripped the heck out of my color. Yes I should have used the color safe version but I didn't and so here we are. Ha! I do feel that it stripped TOO much from my hair in terms of natural oils. Left my hair a bit "squeaky" and flat. The conditioner brought back some life, but sometimes I just want to shampoo without using conditioner and this is not the product for that. Since the Pandemic started, my hair has been looking less than satisfying. I stumbled upon this leave-in conditioner, and after using it for the last few weeks my hair has completely transformed! It has gone back to my original curl pattern (more of an S wave) I actually thought I had lost my curl pattern. My hair is now soft, the curls are extremely well defined, moisturized and shiny. Let me start by saying I am a big loyal customer of Mielle. But since I opened the bottle I disliked the smell 😩. It reminded me of ocean scented aromatics, febrezze, soaps, etc . I use the babassu shampoo , I got this for my husband , well I tried it today and I was please with the results it cleaned my hair wonderfully and the smell toned down in the shower, I did picked up some sweet aromas. If you don’t have allergies to perfumes or scents or strong scents don’t bother you, than this line is a 5 star but for a nose like mine is a 4 . The deep conditioner and leave in gave me so much volume , clean feel, defined light curls, but the smell of the leave in has already given me a headache. Maybe tone it down with the fragrance ? I purchased this based on the many positive reviews I read. But, I do not like this conditioner at all. It's a strange consistency, so when you apply it to your hair it feels weird, greasy, and clumpy. It didn't distribute evenly and when I rinsed it, my hair felt clumpy, greasy and tangled. So different from the other positive experiences others have had. i have long, wavy, fine type of hair, maybe it works better for thicker hair? My hair is fairly healthy, I don't process it too much, but in the winter it gets super dry so i wanted something to help with the dryness, and this did not help at all. Disappointed. I won't purchase again, and do not recommend. I do love their shampoo, is it the best I've ever used? No, Theory conditioner and shampoo are better, more reasonably priced too. I won't be purchasing any more of these over-priced products.
I LOVE the shampoo, but I do not get why so many people rave about this conditioner. It has the strangest texture and consistency, it does not go on well, it clumps and doesn't distribute evenly on your hair. It made my hair feel greasy but dry at the same time. I've experienced this with another repair type of conditioner and I'm disappointed that this conditioner did the same type of thing. I had to use two other conditioners just to get my hair feeling soft and normal again. I have long, fine hair, if that helps. Maybe it just doesn't work with that kind of hair. Sadly, I do not recommend this conditioner. I haven't tried their other ones. But the price is pretty high for taking a gamble or two on them. I've tried several different kinds of hair care products from Matrix to Briorgeo. Virtue is the only one I prefer. I love the scent which is not overwhelming for me. Subtle notes of vanilla with warm woodsy notes is what I detect. The product leaves my hair feeling soft with beautiful shine. I've also noticed since I've been using this shampoo and conditioner that my hair grows so much faster! My cosmetologist actually asked me what was my secret? 😉 I also use the 6 n 1 style lotion. This leaves my hair feeling manageable without making it feel greasy or weighted down. My hair is naturally white/gray, and fine. I needed to find something that would give my hair sheen without making my hair look "muddy". This is my go to along with the healing oil. I just can't say enough great things about Virtue!
