Best Conditioner For Red Colored Hair (2024 Update)

Love my line of John Frieda products. Had to add this and the Red Boosting Conditioner to my collection. I find this is awesome. Smell could be better, especially the conditioner though. Some have said that they dound it irritated their scalp but I will say I havent had this problem. Will totally but this again once it gets low.amy.c

I've been using your Blonde Highlighting shampoo and conditioner for years–saw this and thought I would experiment. It turned out pretty well! Now I have a question–what will happen if I go back to the Blonde Highlighting shampoo for my next wash? (It's for a Halloween thing). I’ve now got side greys on my cherished naturally dark reddish brown hair & it’s looking a bit draining on my 60 year old face. I wanted a copper colour deposit conditioner (like the sadly discontinued Madder Red which I miss!). This is a little too cherry red/pink for me so I mixed it with a small blob of Plantur Brown conditioner (sold by Boots & VERY effective) & left for 20 mins – I now have golden coppery hair where the greying side hairs were! I have vibrant, bright red, Ariel from little mermaid hair. Before I got my hands on this amazing product, I would have to touch up my color every month or so (by this time it was light pink, orange, yellow, gross). I use it with the Joico red conditioner, and my hair has stayed vibrant (although a bit faded, that's just the way it goes) but overall, it is one solid bright red color and it refreshes my hair each time I shower. I only wash my hair twice a week (colored hair people where ya at?) and I have been SO happy with the results. I will continue to purchase this time and time again, in fact I have about 4 bottles under my sink just in case. If you have red hair, vibrant or not, GET THIS!!! 100% worth it and my holy grail product.Bella

Ok let’s talk feel and then science. First, I used to have tremendous hair in my 30’s, strong, healthy and thick. The. I got some thyroid problems after having my kids, some hair fall, live in FL now with crappy water and I even have a pool with chlorine. I am outside a lot. I have backed off highlights because my hair is fine but a lot of it and it was FRAGILE. Never broke in my life until recently. So now I tone the heck out of my damaged previously balayaged hair with professional smoke blue products at a salon to kick the orange brass out of my light brown hair. And even with peroxide developer of only 8 (shades EQ) not, 20 or even 10 I have a rat’s nest. So Joico. Pros. It IS light. Because it doesn’t have to be heavy as it is chock full of proteins and lightweight conditioners. It also has a Ph of 4.5 to 5.5. What’s Ph good for ? Let me expound. So since I have a pool, certain Phs make chemicals either work better or worse. Like, you need less expensive chlorine if you keep your Ph not too alkaline (ph over 7). For your hair, our bodies are at a 6.5 or so, so ph balanced shampoos and conditioners are important because soap is VERy alkaline. The more alkaline, the more the cuticle is lifted like shingles on a house. The more lift, the tougher, the more color loss, the more protein AND moisture loss. So the trick of using an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse applies here. You WANT an ACIDIC product to SHUT down that cuticle. Especially after deep conditioning, coloring or toning. And for those of you who swim, if that gorgeous hair of yours stays wet, like for an HOUR, you’ve lost protein, the moisture that binds to protein, color and you have severely weakened it. 1 swim. 1 hour wet. Enter Color Endure. It’s Ph is a relatively LOW 4.5 -5.5 which is PERFECT for my high porosity, damaged, colored hair. Is it super moisturizing like Tigi Heavens Door that’s like a mask? Nope. But does it trap in that moisture from a wash day and help dry fast like a dream in the FL humidity AND detangle AND keep that cuticle down to resist heat damage and soaking up chlorine and impurities in my water? YES. My 14 year old naturally blonde but chlorinated daughter steals it all the time because it’s light, de tangles, and works. We have zero split ends between us from this bananas smelling product. Now I have a ton of masks and I love Wen and I just like creamy stuff like Dumb Blonde Reconstructer. But everything is heavy on my roots, and a lot of my damage is along my part and front pieces from the sun. If you do the Wen advice and leave in but rinse rinse (like 3 minutes with scrubbing scalp with fingers) rinse I don’t have any grease or build up. I also twist it into my ends at the end of my shower (1 squirt). I could Take a picture of all the hair products I own but this one I buy when it runs out. That’s high praise. I was looking to replace my village color depositing conditioner because I can't find that product ANYWHERE & it was my holy grail. THIS JOICO PRODUCT IS TERRIBLE. I've used it 3 times and haven't noticed a difference in color or in vividness of my hair. It's been dyed a ginger-red. If anything, my hair hasn't maintained it's color how it normally does, it's much less red and vibrant. It leaves my hair greasy and feels heavy, almost like the product itself is too heavy for my hair, which it may be. I'm going to return this because it's not the product for me. It HAS very powerful staining power though, so use an old towel. It stains everything BUT your hair.Lauren R

I usually henna my dark brown hair which has some greys and silvers feathering my temple. Henna is REALLY messy and so I often delay past time. I don't conventionally color my hair because naturally it is dry, fine, low porosity, 3b curls with some thinning at crown (probably from decades of pulling to style) and I don't want to further damage my already delicate strands. Even though henna application is a bit drying on its own it strengthens the hair strands so it's an ok trade-off. Enter the ColorBalm on sale. I was looking for something non-damaging when I'm too lazy to henna. It doesn't appear to be overtly damaging but I don't think my hair loved it either — like the texture/feel of my hair following was less nice/soft. It didn't color all the greys. I wasn't expecting them to be colored darkly just not starkly white against my dark brown. Some came out a muted strawberry blonde (which is actually fine and is enough to blend in as a kind of highlight since I don't have a lot of greys yet) but some strands appeared untouched by the colorant — you know the ones that are stark white, they stayed that way. I do have the same struggle with henna if I don't leave it in long enough but altogether it does a better job but its definitely more of an endeavor. I will finish this but don't think I will repurchase. Debating if I want to return the second unopened tube.Apricot

I don't usually leave reviews, even if something works pretty well. But guys, this works better than just pretty well. Instead of a weird combination of neutral darker pieces and too-cool, almost lavender light pieces, I'm left with gorgeous beige-strawberry blonde tones throughout my hair. It's a light auburn or dark strawberry blonde underneath, with lighter highlights throughout, especially on top and around my face. I don't have to worry about mismatched tones with this toning conditioner. It's always a neutral/cool strawberry blonde throughout, just different shades. And although I use it with a heavier mask or conditioner for my curly hair, it's moisturizing enough to be used alone for anyone with "normal" hair. I'll definitely be repurchasing!Goldilocks

I would give this negative stars if it were possible. Let me start out by saying that I am a cosmetologist and I have used multiple color balms and color conditioners throughout my career and I have never in my life had a product be so messy and difficult. I used the red poppy color and used gloves while applying, and while rinsing it got EVERYWHERE and has left stains all over my shower that will not come out even after using bleach. My scalp is bright red, my forehead is bright red, my back is bright red. Everything is red but my ends. The color balm has not refreshed my hair one bit. There is only a small amount on the very ends of my hair where it is the most porous. It has taken me over an hour to clean up the mess. This product is going straight in the garbage!! I really enjoy this, I picked this up as a different alternative to using purple shampoo but as something to do a little bit more. It exceeded my expectations! Not only did it significantly lighten my hair and eliminate brass, it didn’t turn any hair purple like purple shampoos do. Chi Color illuminate we use at the salon (that I own) and at home. It is a colored conditioning toner. So not only is it toning your hair but it’s conditioning your hair as well. You apply the platinum to wet hair in the shower after you shampoo and leave on for 10 min while cleansing your body then rinse. You can also use the conditioner on dry hair as well. I have used all the available colors. For the platinum it is a highly pigmented purple that does not turn your hair purple. Also unlike purple toning shampoos that can leave your hair feeling dry this one is actually conditioning with silk. I highly recommend it.elizabeth.p

First of all, the customer service from Haris Tyler is second to none. I have used 3 different colours of the creative conditioner, purple, blue and now coral, and would recommend highly. My hair is brown with lots of grey of various tones, and 2 years after hair loss caused by chemotherapy, I treat my hair with care. The colours work in different ways. The blue makes my brown hair more of a chestnut colour, and the coral makes it look more coppery. The greys take on various shades of the main pigment, with the coral my greys are now strawberry blonde highlights. All in all great products.Elaine P

Absolutely a must have if you’ve dyed your hair. Really gives it a pop of extra colour for longer and makes your hair SO soft. The smell is also divine. Be careful when putting it on as it may stain your hands a little but will wash off after a couple of rinses. A must have for any coloured hair!Clarissa

I am still reeling from how well Punky Colour 3-in-1 Color Depositing Shampoo + Conditioner colored my hair, and without any damage or unpleasantness during application! I'm absolutely not a hair dye virgin, so I've been around the block with so-called gentle hair color. I have come to expect that gentle/natural products will likely result in softer hair but also weaker color. Not this product! Before applying this, I had used KISS on my naturally medium/dark blonde hair. After using a clarifying shampoo to try to remove as much of that as possible, to prepare my hair for this, it was basically a muted deep amethyst shade as I began applying this product. Almost immediately, I saw the color begin to take. It was a beautiful, bold, bright pink in the areas where there was less of the remaining previous purple shade, and it was an absolutely incredible, knockout shade of fuschia on the rest of my hair. I applied it to damp hair in front of my bathroom mirror because I was concerned about not being able to apply it evenly. The way this product is formulated, that was definitely not a problem. It is a thinnish consistency like a shampoo and it spreads really well into the hair. I have slightly longer than shoulder length hair and I used a little less than half the bottle but I'm sure that I could have used less and still had this awesome result. I loved that it didn't leave my house smelling bad, and it actually softened my hair and left so much shine! The color isn't flat at all. I love this so much and will absolutely use it again and again. I was very careful to wear gloves during application and I do recommend wiping up any wayward drops right away or it will require some elbow grease to clean up. It did stain my scalp a bit and while I was sure to rinse really well with cold water, and the color hasn't bled onto my clothing or bedding, I have noticed if I touch my hair with damp hands, it does show up on my nailbeds just very faintly. All in all, the shade name alone sums up this stuff. It really IS Pinktabulous!angel.p

I recently coloured my hair copper and anyone that has colored their hair any shade of red knows how quickly the red pigment fades/washes out. Especially problematic for me since my hair had been bleached blonde underneath. I bought this at the recommendation of my hair dresser to help maintain the color in between appointments. I could not believe how even, shiny, and vibrant my gorgeous copper hair has stayed! I want to say it even improved upon the freshly dyed color, if that is even possible since we used high quality hair color that was also from Davines. Even my hairdresser was amazed at how well it worked. We only needed to touch up the roots at my next appointment! Incredible! The conditioning quality is also wonderful. My hair remains just as soft and smooth as when I left the salon and with no split ends! If you have copper hair you can't go wrong! They also have a version for red hair. I can't recommend this conditioner enough! It lasted me just over 3 months using every 2 to 3 days. They also have a version for those with more red hair. My only complaint is that I wished this came in a larger bottle!irene.d

This literally DOESN’T WORK. I have salon bleached hair and I have used this product multiple times to try and keep on top of brassiness. I first used it in the shower, on wet, shampooed hair for 10 minutes. Nothing happened. I then tried using it on dry hair to see if it would work better but again it did not work. I am so disappointed and I will be sticking to brands I trust. I’m confused as to how and why this product has good reviews. Not worth your money. Save £10 and buy a cheaper but way better purple shampoo/conditioner.Lucy

I am a natural redhead and used to use Aveda madder root shampoo and conditioner and loved them. I do not like this conditioner. Made my hair look really brassy and a false red. My hair felt dry too. Couldn’t wait to wash it out. Sorry. Waste of money for me I’m afraid xLisa

Used the product twice, left it on for the recommended 5 minutes, then rinsed it out, no change, no red color was deposited. Tried it a second time, again left on for 5 minutes, nothing. Very disappointed.babes

I used it 1 time and got left with uneven brassy colour. It doesn’t look flattering, just looks like I really need to see a hairdresser. I hope it will wash off, so far no luck. I absolutely LOVE THE COLOR!!!!! But it dries out your hair. I use so many products that I thought it would never dry mine out. After two washes I realized I will shampoo the color in, every day, not twice a week. And I will use three minute miracle or 6-13 by Wen directly after. It colors my hair waaaay better than my box color. I only have a few grays with this shampoo verses ALL the gray's with a hair color treatment. So yes, I'm still going to use it!!! I just add oil in my hair every time I wash it. And I have to use this every time I shampoo or it won't work and all the evil gray's come back.Beth

I have used a few products from this line, so I was excited to try a new color in Silvery Diamond. I have heavily lightened hair and maintain this through a salon. Before use, I contacted my hairdresser about using the product. I wanted to make sure she would be able to color correct in case I messed up, or didn't like the color. She agreed that this would be fun and easy to handle after running down a list of ingredients, and directions. I really like this product. It works perfectly on my hair because of how light it is. The silver was pretty but not a good fit for my skin tone which is fair. It washed me out, but that is not the fault of the product. I have used other colors and loved the result. I figured that since I didn't love the color on myself, this would be a great time to see how hard it would be to get out of my hair. I re-washed and used a de-gunking shampoo and conditioner and the color, although still visible was lightened and had a really pretty sparkle that played up the tones of my blonde. I really liked it. These are high-quality products, and leave your hair feeling soft and silky after use. I definitely recommend this to anyone with lightened hair. If you have darker hair, this will more than likely not do what it is intended to.Jenicorn817

THANK YOU. I have silver gray hair that is beautiful with some remaining brunette in the back. My stylist talked me into "highlights" around the face and I have some old yellowing highlights in the back I was trying to grow out. Well I ended up with gold, yellow, lemony chunks of highlights around the front which looked so stupid FLAWLESS DIAMOND is just that…flawless….It also cured the yellowing in the back. My hairdresser told me about this product for my dehydrated hair. I'm getting older and I've noticed that the texture of my hair was suffering so I was willing to try something new. I saw a big difference on the first wash but especially a month or two later. I use it almost every day and I feel like I cannot live without it now. I purchased this color safe shampoo based on the recommendations on beauty professionals in my area, and also because I am a big fan of Oribe products. I started using Oribe products when I went to a salon that used Oribe and pretty much all the products that I’ve used I have liked. I purchased this particular shampoo because I get highlights, and I wanted to prolong the life of my color gloss. I am a fan of Oribe and have other Oribe shampoos to compare it with, and I sometimes mix it with the Oribe Moisture and Control Shampoo in the green bottle and the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo in the black and white bottle. I think that this shampoo for color treated hair is best for prolonging color, and I have noticed that my glaze has lasted a bit longer than when using other shampoos. I personally prefer the moisture and hydration from the other two shampoos that I mentioned compared to this shampoo, but I do like the shampoo a lot. I do feel that the Moisture and Control Shampoo does provide a lot of moisture and hydration, I have that masque too and love it. The Oribe Gold Lust is good for damaged hair or when trying to prevent split ends. The shampoo for the blonde hair is also a great shampoo, which a hairstylist used on me for years and I recommended to a family member. I think Oribe products are excellent and I have been pleased with most Oribe products that I purchased. I recently switched to using this shampoo and other Oribe shampoos from the Olaplex shampoo and it is definitely worth the extra money! The products are a little expensive, although they are the best quality of any other beauty products which I have purchased. The products are vegan and cruelty free. I will re-purchase this product again in the future!AmySnickers

The Oribe For Beautiful Color is my favorite hair product line. I have had total strangers compliment the scent while using this line. A little product goes a long way, even for my thick mid-back length hair. I use this and then rotate between the For Beautiful Color mask, conditioner, and glaze, as well as alternating with the Gold Lust line. I will continue buying Oribe even at this price point. Purchased this product expecting to see results. This an 8.5oz product for $50.00. So my expectations are high as price tag. This product did not work for me. I recently got my hair colored I waited 5 days to have my first shampoo and as I was washing my hair it felt extremely dry. As I was massaging my scalp my hair started tangle terribly- this has never happened to me before. So I proceeded to condition with olaplex. Once out of the shower my hair felt super dry which it was very concerning. After I used a mixed of olaplex #6 and #7 to blow-dry and style, my hair looked fine but NOT BETTER from using Olaplex shampoo, Truss professional or Crew. I wanted to give it a second try so 3 days after I washed my hair again. I have natural voluminous curls, same experience at washing and after, my curls looked terrible. The hair still dry as straw. My hair is about 90% gray with Wella Colorcharm 9NG all over. I’ve tried about four or five different color conditioners; each one comes out pretty blotchy and washes out so quickly.This is the only color shampoo I’ve ever tried and it sounded a little weird but it is absolutely perfect. Since I have various shades of blonde, the color takes differently but beautifully. Some strands are pink some areas are a little rose gold.The color doesn’t seep onto pillows, towels (I even use a white towel), or clothes and washes out gradually and beautifully. I use this about once a week to keep a light blush pink on my hair. Of course you can use it more and get more depth of color. I have natural blond hair that has a lot of natural dimension and highlights in it. However, like many women, my hair color has changed a bit after two kids, and doesn't pop the way it used to. Not to mention, I'm already starting to find a couple of white hairs here and there at 33, so I needed something that was going to tone my hair to make it a more vibrant cool toned color again that I had pre kids.I decided to try this out. Despite being for color treated grey/blonde I found it actually did a good job at lightening and brightening my natural hair, removing any of the lackluster yellow that's come into my hair since I had my kids. I thoroughly lathered throughout my entire hair and left it on for about 10 minutes just to see what it could do on natural hair. While it didn't have as drastic results as it would have on color treated hair, it definitely did the trick in lightening and brightening my natural locks and returning it to the more cool toned lighter blond that I had pre kids. The product works great! I have natural black hair and bleached it once to make it vibrant red. I wash my hair daily, so the color faded pretty quick. I don’t want to go to hair salon again, so I randomly searched it on amazon to find this. I decided to give a try, and after several weeks, I found it very convenient to remain my hair color in a fairly bright red hue evenly. The color remains for 2~3 wash.However, I’m not giving it five stars because:Instead of using it like my normal shampoo, I need to squeeze 3 palms of the product to apply on my hair to reach the color change shown in my photos. I tried using a small amount and imagined the product staying on my hair longer would let the color soak in, but it didn’t work much. If you have long hair, you probably will run out of this very fast. It also dries my hair after rinsing it off, but could be solved with conditioner once.Anyway if you plan to use this, I recommend to apply a generous amount of it on your hair, and massage it through hair to have the even color, but not making a lot of foams. After waiting for a few mins, rinse it off and use conditioner once or twice under warm water since a steaming hot shower washes the new applied color off easily.Stephanie L.

I know this review is lengthy but only because I LOVE this shampoo. Let me tell you, when I received this product, I was nervous. Seeing as it was a color depositing shampoo, and the instructions say to avoid your scalp (because of staining), I was upset. I dance for 2 hours every day and by the end I am a greasy/sweaty MESS. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get my same "clean" feeling as I do with my old shampoo. But I have been using this daily and I can honestly say my hair is so clean after using it but not that dry overly "squeaky" clean like some shampoos. This is a genuine CLEAN that didn't strip my hair of any moisture. The scent is great, very fresh and not overly fragrant or unnatural smelling. On top of that, it WORKS. I am a natural medium-deep brunette and I've got red/copper undertones that are clearly visible in natural lighting, mainly towards to ends of my hair. Not anymore though! I've got beautiful, soft, and shiny deep chocolate hair now and I've been using it for a week now! My only real complaint is that it can be a little tedious to use. Since it can stain, they recommend wearing gloves and keeping it off the scalp as stated previously. I didn't think it would stain that bad, so I put it in my hair one day without gloves and the dye had gotten under my fingernails and it looked like I had dirt under them, as well as product having dripped down the back of my neck and leaving a bit of darkness there. I recently got this shampoo to use once a week after I had my hair colored. I couldn't stop using it because it makes my hair feel so amazing. You know that clean feeling that some shampoos and conditioners leave you with? That kind of clean! I know every product is different for every type of hair but I will be using this until it no longer works for my hair. I can't stop touching it and running my fingers through it. **It does stain around my nails but I have a nail brush in my shower and I just scrub my nails after and it helps or most of the time, completely gets rid of the dark stains! So I recommend that method to help. **Also has not stained my scalp or my skin around my head as I let it sit in the shower.Lexi Lou

Using the entire Matrix Dark Envy line, this is definitely the icing on the cake. It's creamy and thick and you definitely don't need as much as I used the first time. Lol. A small quarter sized amount or a touch more for long hair, like mine. I would not recommend using this without at least using the shampoo. I prefer the mask as well. But this is more like a toner or final coat to the color renewal system. It won't add color alone.eskmom

For starters the experience of using this conditioner is what's to be expected in a pleasant and predictable way. It applies easily, smells nice and clean, rinses well and a little goes a long way. Additionally it's apparently in application that it doesn't have the added SLS/SLES/Silicone, there's a noticeable absence of that synthetic slickness you notice in conditioners that harbor those nasties. I have dark, naturally shiny hair, and must admit I didn't notice any more oomph in that department regardless of if I used it with the corresponding shampoo, or with other kinds. HOWEVER I would 100% use this product again. I found my hair holds the shape I blow dry it into very well when I use this in conjunction with the shampoo. It's bouncy, looks healthy and smooth. It also plays well with the texturising sprays I use, along with my dry shampoo. My hair isn't weighed down or oily while using this which is a nice change from other shine inducing products which can flatten my fine hair. I love the idea of more radiant/shiny hair so I was excited to try this shampoo from the Vibrant Shine range, especially as it doesn’t contain SLS/SLES sulphates, parabens or silicones and is cruelty free and vegan. I love the pink packaging and how it stands out from other products in my shower. It is easy to grip and squeeze, and I only needed a small amount to cleanse my hair. It lathers up nicely and smells fantastic; a blossomy type scent that I really love. It rinses out easily and doesn’t feel drying, though compared to the previous shampoo I was using, it isn’t as hydrating. As far as shine goes, I did notice a slight improvement but was expecting a little more (perhaps the impressive advertising increased my expectations unrealistically). I used this with the matching conditioner and spray and while my hair does appear shiner, my hair prefers the effects of my previous shampoo and conditioner (which are not targeted for shine) so it’s not a range I would go for at the time. I will definitely revisit when I colour my hair next, though, as that is one thing I have had trouble with, the gorgeous shine that comes with colouring disappears very quickly. If your main issue is dullness then I would recommend giving this shampoo a go, along with the Vibrant Shine Conditioner and 3-in-1 Shine Spray for maximum results.Evelyn H.

I love the aesthetic of the pink bottle. It really stands out in my bathroom and would in the aisle of a shop. The bottle itself is a good size and weight. I have some nueropathy in my hands and found this bottle easy to hold and not to heavy. I enjoyed this product combined a heat protectant, detangler and shine all in one. My hair is fine, double processed coloured with bleach and fashion colour so is prone to tangles, breakage and lack of shine. I also have an oily itchy scalp. This did not weight down my hair or make my scalp itchy and annoyed like alot of products do. It has a pleasant fragrance and I felt my hair was softer and definitely shiner. It was great not having to use multiple products on my hair as this gave excellent heat protection and made my tangles easier to manage. The only negative I can find for this product is the spray. It's not a fine mist but quite aggressive squirt. I had to spray and massage it in to ensure even distribution instead of a fine spray coating the hair.Krystle M.

Natural redheads fight 'losing the red' as much as bottle redheads do and New Zealand is not a redhead-friendly country for colours to top-up your red. No chemist has red dye and many supermarkets don't. Red shampoos like this are not stocked anywhere. The excuse I am always given is that there is no demand. I guess they have no redheaded friends! This is good stuff. You'll need to use a good amount, but it beats traipsing the internet trying to find the right shade to top-up your hair. It will definitely do the job for bottle redheads as much as it does for those with it naturally. Why should redheads have to import hair colour just so they can look their best? I really hope Brand Outlet doesn't stop stocking this because the UK is the nearest market to get it. I docked a star because you do have to be very thorough. This time the Revlon brand disappointed me. I buy products to try and if I like it I keep buying it for this reason, I bought this shampoo and conditioner and used it for more than two weeks and the truth has been a waste of time. I have naturally long, light brown, curly hair (a lot) that's been highlighted with blonde since high school. In the past 1-2 years its turned dry, thin, burnt, and damaged. If you want to pay to get expensive coloring to your hair, dishing out money for quality SALON products is a must. My hair has gotten extremely damaged from using OGX products that currently have a class action lawsuit against them for formaldehyde, cancer causing ingredients & instead of moisturizing & repairing it's drying it from the inside out, causing horrible damage you didn't see starting, until you have a ton of broken hair & even HAIR LOSS!! My hair last year was long to my belt loops. We thought was this because of coloring? Stopped coloring it last year, it's been growing out for awhile. Then for my last "trim" it turned into a chop because I've had really long hair over a decade & never has my hair looked or felt like this. Now my hair is right above my shoulders. I was doing my research on products before my haircut knowing after I cut it, I'm never using OGX products again even though I had 2 brand new large bottles. I asked my hairdresser about this brand & this color last (even though I'm growing out my hair I still have my old color treated lighter blonde ends). she said this product/brand is AMAZING & YES for me to try it I told her Ulta had the jumbos on SALE she said I won't regret it. I also got the styling spray to wear my hair naturally Wavy to let it air dry & have less heat on my damaged hair & I'm hooked, 1000% pleased and recommend!! I often try new shampoo/conditioner combos meant for color treated hair. I always find myself circling back to Biolage Colorlast shampoo and conditioner though. This product combo leaves my hair moisturized and vibrant without a “heavy” feeling. A lot of other products moisturize my hair, but then it’s too heavy to style. The conditioner leaves your hair silky but still able to be styled. This combo will always be one of my favorites. The only downfall with this product is it can leave a “build up” despite thorough rinsing.amanda.c

I've been using Moroccan Oil hair products for many years. Because my go-to "smoothing" conditioner was out of stock, I decided to try the "repair" conditioner. It's absolutely terrible. When rinsing my hair in the shower, it isn't silky and smooth; it feels like I didn't use conditioner at all. When combing through towel-dried hair, I have to use twice as much of my leave-in conditioner spray just to get a comb through it. This was a very expensive purchase with terrible results. I sent an email to Moroccan Oil within 30 days of purchase, in accordance with their return policy. I never received a response. Now I'm stuck with a $65 bottle of useless conditioner.Jennifer G.

I purchased this along with the Moroccanoil Moisuture & Shine shampoo. I will say that this conditioner is much better than the shampoo, however I still wasn’t overly impressed – especially for the price. If you have thick hair like myself and go through a large amount of conditioner, this bottle is not going to last you long. The first time I used this conditioner, my hair was extremely greasy, although it wasn’t greasy the second time I tried it – I am not sure why. I didn’t find that my hair felt any better than it does after using a drugstore conditioner and I can’t bring myself to purchase this 1-2 times per month for the same results as a $10 conditioner.
