I love the results of this product. It smells so good and the texture is really thick and gets into my hair so I can rub it in and keep it there. My hair had been thinning for some time and, after my first use of this product along with the same brand/line’s conditioner I saw a noticeable difference in how thick my hair looked. Unfortunately I did not take any photos of my hair at the start of product use — I wish I had! — and so I can’t speak to whether my hair looks thicker because hair grew or because this product just makes hair appear so. This was such a fun campaign to be in! There were FOUR full sized products that I got to try. I definitely felt I got a good sense of each product before writing my review. With that being said though, I honestly was not a fan of the shampoo. It’s not necessarily the product’s fault though because unless it was formulated for a dry scalp, there was no way I was going to be able use this long term. My hair didn’t feel drier the few of times I used this, but it also didn’t feel more moisturized either. It did look like it had a tad more volume, but that was probably in combination with the other products. It did smell really good (reminded me of a Bath and Body Works lotion. Couldn’t pinpoint which one) and the scent lasted for a couple days actually, but unless you have a normal scalp with hair that doesn’t require too much hydration, I would recommend sticking to your regular shampoo.christina.l
I’m super bummed about this shampoo. I read so many great reviews, and I found it at Walmart for a great price. So here we go — pros: it smells ANAZING. Like, super good. It kinda reminds me of Bath and Body Works sweet pea scent. And it’s sulfate free! Cons: It made my hair feel INCREDIBLY dry on the ends. Bad. And that was after the conditioner (plus rinsing with cold water). It also left a weird crunchy residue feeling on the top part of my hair, too. I made sure to rinse it all off as well, but it felt super weird on top when it started to dry. I’ll maybe use it one or two more times and then throw out the bottle. This product could work for you, though. I’ve read more good reviews than bad. I just personally haven’t had a good experience with it. Like, my hair was practically SCREAMING for hydration after using this product. I have very fine hair but a lot of it, and I’m just saying — my hair felt healthier after bleaching it awhile back than it did after using this shampoo + conditioner. Okay let’s talk. OGX has been under fire because of DMDM hydantoin being in their products . It is no longer in their products . I recently just picked up the shampoo and conditioner from target and right after i heard about the ongoing lawsuit. I checked the ingredients and they removed that particular one. Other than that I’ve always loved this shampoo and conditioner. It is a DEEP Cleansing shampoo. This product has sulfates and I’m natural but sulfates can be good or bad depending on the products and when i say this shampoo cleans my hair and leaves me with the feeling knowing my hair is deeply washed so no buildup will occur. Several other reviews mentioned this helping with hair loss, or slowing it down, so I decided to purchase a bottle to try out many moons ago, when my hair loss issue was at its peak, and also again more recently just to see if my thoughts on it had changed over time. They haven't! Aside from how overly perfumed this shampoo was and therefore my hair too, I didn't notice any other benefit or effect from using this, nor any difference in my hair quality. I have a fine, thin and arm-length hair that lack volume snd that require daily washing (thanks to the genes in my family). I have used many, maany professional hair products to find which one would work best for me, many of them being professional brands and higher on the price range. Had my hopes high with this one, but unfortunately they were not met. The good things are the bigger amount (300ml vs standard 250ml) and not too strong scent. These are the pluses for the conditioner and shampoo. Unfortunately the conditioner is too heavy in my opinion and despite washing it off properly it still weighs down my hair plus I really have to wash it the next day (which with other brands sometimes doesn’t happen). I do not have fine or thin hair, but it isn't course or thick – I just have a lot of it. My first impression of the smell from the bottles was not favorable, but when it is activated with water and applied to scalp and hair, it smells unbelievable. I recently wrote a review for the shampoo that goes with this conditioner and it may be helpful also. This system for thinning/hair loss is unlike anything I've used before! I have light thinning in front right near my hairline from always having my thick, heavy, curly hair tied up in a bun or ponytail on top of my head. it's slowly pulled my hairline back, and I also have thin spots from parting my hair in the same spot every day for a long time. After using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo and treatment spray ONCE I saw a difference in how thin my hair looked. I am impressed. BUT this conditioner and the shampoo are mint scented and give a very intense cooling effect on the scalp and the feeling stays on your scalp for quite a while after rinsing… maybe 30 minutes or so. And any time air blows on you it reactivates the cooling sensation. Not as intense as when it was initially applied, but still enough to be unpleasant. I received the Nioxin System 1 (3 pieces) for free for testing purposes. These are my own opinions. First, I’d like to share that I’ve been using the 3 piece set (shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment) for a little over a month. I do not shampoo my hair daily and I try to go as many days as possible in between washes. That being said, I still saw some results in the short amount of time I used this product. First, the shampoo leaves your hair feeling clean. The smell is pleasant and there is a cooling, tingling sensation with these products that I really enjoy. My scalp can be on the dry side sometimes and it’s been looking clear with no irritation. The conditioner is nice and a little goes a long way. I massage the shampoo and conditioner into my scalp and I try to keep both products on for a few minutes in the shower so they can “sink in and work their magic�. After the shower I wrap my hair in a hair towel to absorb most of the moisture. Using a wide tooth comb, I detangle my hair, make a part on my scalp and spray the scalp treatment. I continue this all over my head. Comb-part-spray. I massage this product into my head and then style as usual. Ever since having kids (7 years ago) my hair has gone from crazy thick to thinning. It’s depressing and scary. I’ve collagen and biotin but I didn’t notice much of a difference. After using Nioxin for this short amount of time, I’m already seeing baby hairs!!! After just a few weeks of use, I noticed my hair part looks less scarce than it used to. In order to read the instructions for this product, you need to peel a sticker, which removes some of the ink and makes them difficult to read, so I assume that this product was supposed to be used as a regular conditioner. After a couple of uses, I decided to read the instructions to make sure that I was using it correctly and that’s when I found out that you are supposed to apply the conditioner from the roots to the tips of your hair. I used it in that manner about four more times and that’s when I started noticing more dramatic results. Like I said about the shampoo, when I had saeen all the great reviews for the Carol's Daughter Goddess Strength Fortifying Conditioner, I was very excited to try it. What I was left with though, was an absolutely terrible, tangled mess. I washed my hair with the Carol's Daughter Goddess Strength Fortifying Shampoo, and upon feeling what a dried out, tangled mess my hair was, applied a TON of the Goddess Strength Conditioner, and left it on for 5+ minutes. The instructions said to do this if you wanted to "use it as a mask". Trust me, my hair felt like it needed it. I normally use Redken Extreme Lengths Conditioner and mask on my hair which de-tangle my hair- no problems. While I was in the shower I tried running a finger through my hair. I couldn't get anywhere near the ends of my hair without running into a knot- and they were NOT coming out. Normally with my other conditioner my fingers would slide right through, but this conditioner felt different and not in a good way. I left it on for a few minutes and rinsed it out. After getting out of the shower, I towel-dried my mid-back length hair and went to work on the knots. It took me over an hour, and half a bottle of detangler to get the knots out. Then it took 2 other hair products to get my hair semi smoothed and free of frizz. I never have this problem with my other shampoo and conditioner. Maybe my hair just isn't compatible with this system, but my hair is about a 2C/3A, so I don't know why that would be the issue. The conditioner itself smelled nice but that was about it, kind of fruity. This product helps target weak strands, restoring moisture and fortifying hair so each strand is stronger. Only been using it about a month, so, don't know yet about regrowth, but I've stopped getting handfuls and brushfuls of hair. Makes it feel fuller, as well. The shampoo is very concentrated, doesn't take a lot, but the conditioner tends to be lacking. Takes a lot of product, and it doesn't feel that "conditioned", but I'm going to keep on track until I find out if there is regrowth or not. This stuff left my hair SO dry that I could barely comb it even after spaying a ton of CHI leave-in-conditioner on it. This shampoo and conditioner has brought much peace to my house, as my partner has allergies to fragrance so I have been searching high and low. I tried the smaller sizes of these before getting the bigger ones because let's be honest, they aren't cheap. But it works great for my hair and won't cause anyone with fragrance allergies to have a reaction every time I shower. That said, I had to subtract one star simply because my package arrived and the conditioner was busted open and got all over my two bottles. I think maybe Sephora should consider labeling their boxes as fragile so they don't get thrown around to prevent this in the future. Wow !!! This is the weirdest conditioner I have ever used. So weird I think the formulation I got was wrong. So I have been using this every other day for about 5 months but the bottle is still magically full! Here's the deal. I found that the product was so thick I started adding water to it but after a couple more uses I would have to do it again, and again, and again and again. It doesn't seem to lose its qualities, though. It smells the same(not bad) and does what it claims but it is like a bottomless cup of coffee. It never ends. I have been using this shampoo for YEARS. When i first experienced clumps of hair shed I used it and immediately it halted my hair shed by half. My roots also felt lifted. It's not a miracle but it save a lot of my hair. What really helped my hair is cutting A LOT of hair off basically into a pixie cut, and getting blood work and finding the cause. For me I had severe iron deficiency anemia and never took any supplements for it. For years I had broken thin hair, that barely reached my nose in the front, Frankenstein mullet. My doctor ordered a prescription for iron and I got other pixie cut and treating my hair gently. I followed my prescription exactly. Used this shampoo, good conditioner, a weekly mask and pinned my hair up frequently to avoid friction but I blowout my hair every week with heat protectant. One year later and all of my hair goes past my chin and no bald spots. So major and life changing my boyfriend teases me saying he blinked and my hair grew. It's not thick and long but I have a good thickness lob now. I am extremely happy. Correcting my severe anemia was the biggest help to my hair but this shampoo helped control the damage. It arrived dusty with black marks everywhere, I wiped to clean it but the dust is stuck on the edge of the label and it looks dirty. I bought the new mums set, consisting of shampoo, conditioner and vitamins and since it was a bogof sale, recieved double. After one month still no difference, 2 months still no, After 3 months I had pretty much given up hope it would work. Really bad experience with this bundle product. Like most online products it’s taking a risk when buying, with the hope it works. My experience was awful.. after taking the gummies within a week my skin felt like sand, my face was so rough and so sore. Am now waiting to see the dr to find a fix. I have Asian skin and it’s very visible the sore patches on my face. The shampoo has given me awful dandruff clots of it. My hair was falling out more from this shampoo. The pump is a 50/50 that it will or won't work. I did have about three out of six that didn't work the first time I bought six bottles. I swapped out the working ones for the ones that didn't work. Then, when I bought all six a second time, I saved the pumps that work and swapped out the ones that didn't, so now all six bottles work. I decided the second time to test the pumps at the store. I bought the ones that worked. The "six bottles" I am referring to are the shampoo and conditioners from the three varieties. Aside from the pumps, I like all the varieties though they are different from the shampoos and conditioners I am used to using as they don't have a strong perfumed scent like other shampoos and conditioners. If that's important to you, you will be disappointed in these shampoos and conditioners. If you want soft hair, they will accomplish that. This shampoo and conditioner is horrible for my hair. It doesn't lather up so my hair feels like it's clumping in the knots when I use this shampoo. It makes my hair feel like again, dry hay I do not like this shampoo at all. I really tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and I've used this for about a month and the amount of shampoo I have to use is outrageous. This shampoo made my hair feel so brittle and knotty I seemed to be losing more hair than normal. Conditioner is not much better in my opinion as I had to use a ton of it to get it to cover the entire length of my hair. A nice and creamy consistensy with tea tree oil that you can actually feel it on your scalp in a freshing way. After shampooing I followed up with Pura d'or 2x Concetrated Biotin Conditioner and it just enhanced what it's shampoo was already doing. Hydrating it to start of with but also making it healthier and more manageble. Love that the shampoo is also color safe so that my mom who colors her hair can use it safely. One of the things that I love the most is what the conditioner does not contain like parabens and phthalates and even dyes. But yet it can still leave my hair nice and soft. Without knots in my hair and without it feeling striped of any nutrients at all. It really does make my hair thicker. Less wispy flyaway hair. I've tried another biotin product (one of the iherb brands) but it didn't have any noticeable difference. I already liked this brand from another product they have, I'm glad the brand seems trustworthy after all. I still lose hair but at least with this it looks less flat. Honestly, the conditioner is a little more runny than I would prefer, but it may work well for others. The smell isn't overpowering in the ginger department and it lathers well. It's just not for me. I would honestly recommend the banana hair mask. That product has done wonders for my hair. I consider my hair to be "combination." My scalp gets overly oily, whereas the rest of my hair, especially my ends, are dry. It comes out of the shower silky smooth, with no tangles WHATSOEVER. I’ve just tried the Body Shop Scalp Care Conditioner. I’ve been suffering lately with a dry itchy scalp, and wanted something that would soothe and calm it down. My hair for the last few years has started becoming more limp and thin. I've tried various shampoos and hair products that supposedly add volume, but haven't really noticed a difference. I was excited to try this Strengthening shampoo because not only did it claim to strengthen hair, but also lead to more volume. I've used it for about a week now (5 times washing my hair) and I couldn't be happier. I was pleasantly surprised as I have noticed a difference. My hair which was thinning on the top seems a little thicker and actually softer too. The shampoo is best when used with the conditioner and serum as that is what I have been using and it seems to be working. Other things I've loved about it: the scent. It's mild, but so fragrant. It's a pleasant floral smell that stays with your hair until your next wash, which I love. The texture is also ideal; not so thick that it feels goopy and not so thin that it's watery. It also lathers really well which is a definite necessity for me because I never really feel clean without the lather. Another bonus is that I can blow dry and straighten curl my hair without any issues; it actually recommends you to style as required. Overall, I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone who is looking for thicker fuller hair without breaking the bank or resorting to extreme procedures.raomeenas

I've been using this product since July 2017. I started using it because my hair was destroyed at a hair salon. I lost my hair over the entire crown of my head. My dermatologist said I had thermal burns to my scalp. I wore a wig for over a year while having it treated by another hair care professional who was successful in getting my hair to grow back, but unfortunately, she was not able to bring back all of my hair. The top and sides of my head were very, very thin. So much so, I can't wear certain styles because the hair is so thin that it's not able to cover my scalp. It reminds me of a bald man with a with a comb over (not pretty). The good news is, the rest of my hair has thickened and grown using this product, and there has been no further breakage on the top and sides. The bad news is, my hair in the damaged areas hasn't thickened to hide the baldness as of yet. I realize it's a process and will take time, so for that reason I will continue to use it (as well as the thickening shampoo and conditioner) to see if anything happens in the future. My hairdresser feels as if my follicles have been badly damage and that the hair may never return. But I'm going to hang in there and hope for the best.
Since my dermatologist prescribed the Viviscal supplements, I decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. My review is twofold. Results: liked the manageability and appearance of my hair after use. Did not have to use an additional spray leave-in condition and hair was till supple and manageable, Scent: smells like a man's cologne. I enjoy men's cologne on a man but not on me.
