I have a mix of 4b and 4c hair. My daughter's has 4b hair and it works perfect for her. Her wash and go's hold all day even after recess and a long day at school. My sister has used a nice amount of the leave in and moisturizer, now I have to buy more lol. I am going to try the honey mask and the anti-breakage serum. I will be leaving reviews also. I have moderately frizzy but mostly straight Caucasian hair and I've been using natural, sulfate/paraben free shampoos for a year or so now. I like TGIN because it makes my hair SUPER silky and soft. The conditioner detangles so well that I can easily wide tooth comb my hair straight out of the shower. However, my hair does feel very heavy and has NO volume whatsoever after using this. I also have to wash more frequently as my hair gets oily way faster, oily to the point it looks bad. I like to try new leave-in conditioners. Hardly ever buy any twice. I will be purchasing this again & again. Great for detangling hair. I let my hair air dry and leaves it soft, straight and smooth. When you have curly hair, you get tired of always having to style it with 15 products at a time (exaggerating of course). I have been using this line of healthy sexy hair products for years. I switched to another shampoo a few years ago though after they changed their soy moisturizing shampoo to some garbage that had nothing but oils in it. They removed literally all of the cleansing agents and it left my hair so greasy. It was awful. However, I stuck with the leave-in conditioner up until a couple weeks ago. They've now changed their formula on that too. They've changed it before, but it still worked. But whatever they've put in the bottle now is just terrible. I had a suspicion something was different after noticing the bottle had changed (since that seems to be the bat signal equivalently of "we've completely ruined your favorite product"), but after one use I could tell something was off. My hair felt dry and frizzy, and my blonde looked brassy. There was no life to my hair AT ALL. I will seriously never understand why companies change their formula on perfectly good products. Let me start by saying my hair has no dye or product in it so this product review is based on natural hair response. This is an impressive conditioner from Redken, geared toward length and strength. If those are two hair qualities you are seeking for yourself, then this is the hair line for you! Firstly, I love that this product has such a payoff, for so little a price to pay. I’ve tried conditioner from all price ranges, including the very expensive raved about MLM type brands. This Redken lengthen and strengthen beats that easily! This shampoo left my hair feeling quenched BUT not oily or heavy, which has been a huge problem for me. Most conditioner weigh my hair down and make it look too shiny. My hair feels fresh and bouncy, I’ve noticed significant improvements with the movement and structure of my curls. The biggest payoff for me is that this product has helped my curls stay structured longer!! I have type 4 hair with low porosity. It’s incredibly hard to find products that work well in my hair. The favorites of the hair community don’t do anything good for my hair and it’s very frustrating. This leave in is great. It allows me to detangle my hair easily with my fingers and makes my curls pop. I first use a herbal spray with honey that I made and then a pea sized amount maybe a little more and then finish with a sealer like Aunt Carole’s Pomade (also purchased at Target) and my hair is great. I bought Aunt Jackie’s Quench after falling in love with Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La Defining Custard. I’m so happy I did! Quench delivers all that it said it would! It’s moisturizing, leaves a good slip. It also helps balance the crunch factor if you use gel as the final step. I layered Quench, then Curl La La, (scrunched) then a bit of gel. Perfection! At first I tried Quench on it’s own. Beautiful “beachy” look all day long. In total, I love how it leaves my hair moisturized, shiny, soft, yet still keeps my 2C/3A curls pretty defined. Smells lovely too. If that’s not enough for a Leave-In, the cherry on top is that Quench is Paraben free, sulfate free, no mineral oil, no petroleum (taken from bottle). It’s a great detangler too! AND, it’s cost effective! I’m so happy to have found Quench… and Aunt Jackie’s product line. It’s hard for me to find amazing curly hair products that do not contain Avocado. I have been MORE than pleasantly surprised at just how much this TGIN Miracle RepaiRx protective leave-in has left my thick but fine, bleached and colored hair EVERY TIME I've used it!! I used to have dry, frizzy unmanageable curly hair (3b). I've tried nearly every product for curly hair and *nothing* has worked like this leave-in. My hair is now shiny and smooth, but retains my curls too. I can actually brush through my hair on no-wash days and my curls maintain their shape. With other products, my curls would fall and get frizzy by mid-day. I know everyone responds uniquely to products, but I am so happy to to find my holy grail! Other reviews mentioned to use it sparingly; I use it very, very liberally. My hair soaks up leave-in conditioner so I probably use 10 pumps, concentrating on the crown and ends. I do t understand some of these reviews, like it not being thick? This is a very thick leave in and you really need to use sparingly. I feel like if you actually put enough in to coat the majority of your hair to reap the benefits you would have a greasy head full of hair. I got this because I was a bit on protein overload and while my hair has felt softer it's not done anything to repeat or seal split ends like it claims. Doing a bunch of research after this issue I've found that although coconut oil is a big fad it is actually not good for a lot of hair types. ESPECIALLY if your dealing with excess protein in your hair, it will make the problem worse since coconut oil causes protein buildup. Wish I had know that before purchasing. Seeing as how so many products have coconut oil in them that's probably how I wound up in the mess to begin with. Just a FYI for anyone else that may be having the same issue. Now I do like TGIN repair mask, although I don't like the smell necessarily, I also don't get the amazing smell others claim regarding this leave in?! Maybe I got a bad bottle but mine has very slight of any scent and it certainly isn't amazing.. I know this review is lengthy but only because I LOVE this shampoo. Let me tell you, when I received this product, I was nervous. Seeing as it was a color depositing shampoo, and the instructions say to avoid your scalp (because of staining), I was upset. I dance for 2 hours every day and by the end I am a greasy/sweaty MESS. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get my same "clean" feeling as I do with my old shampoo. But I have been using this daily and I can honestly say my hair is so clean after using it but not that dry overly "squeaky" clean like some shampoos. This is a genuine CLEAN that didn't strip my hair of any moisture. The scent is great, very fresh and not overly fragrant or unnatural smelling. On top of that, it WORKS. I am a natural medium-deep brunette and I've got red/copper undertones that are clearly visible in natural lighting, mainly towards to ends of my hair. Not anymore though! I've got beautiful, soft, and shiny deep chocolate hair now and I've been using it for a week now! My only real complaint is that it can be a little tedious to use. Since it can stain, they recommend wearing gloves and keeping it off the scalp as stated previously. I didn't think it would stain that bad, so I put it in my hair one day without gloves and the dye had gotten under my fingernails and it looked like I had dirt under them, as well as product having dripped down the back of my neck and leaving a bit of darkness there. I recently got this shampoo to use once a week after I had my hair colored. I couldn't stop using it because it makes my hair feel so amazing. You know that clean feeling that some shampoos and conditioners leave you with? That kind of clean! I know every product is different for every type of hair but I will be using this until it no longer works for my hair. I can't stop touching it and running my fingers through it. **It does stain around my nails but I have a nail brush in my shower and I just scrub my nails after and it helps or most of the time, completely gets rid of the dark stains! Using the entire Matrix Dark Envy line, this is definitely the icing on the cake. It's creamy and thick and you definitely don't need as much as I used the first time. Lol. A small quarter sized amount or a touch more for long hair, like mine. I would not recommend using this without at least using the shampoo. I prefer the mask as well. But this is more like a toner or final coat to the color renewal system. It won't add color alone.eskmom

I purchased a couple packets of this after loving their Keratin mask. I haven’t noticed much improvement in how my hair feels after using it. Usually after using any kind of conditioning hair mask, my hair is super smooth and easy to detangle… nope. Even using my tangle teezer after using this, my hair was very tangled and not very soft. Hask brand has become a staple in my hair care regimen! My hair is sensitive, thin, bleached for blonde, and very fine. Argan oil was something I always swore by for treating damaged and frizzy hair, so when this line came out I immediately tried it! I combine this with the entire repair line shown in the photo! When I use conditioners I always let them soak in my hair for a while before brushing/rinsing out with a brush! This product didn’t seem to weigh my hair down at all, nor did it make it greasy after rinsing and drying! **Pro Tip, always brush from the ends up while conditioner is soaking in the shower**samantha.r
I've noticed some reviewers say that their hair felt drier. My guess is that this is because this product contains more protein than your average deep conditioner. If your hair is already overloaded with protein or low porosity, this mask may not give you the best results. Try the shea butter mask or tea tree mask from this brand instead (if I'm remembering correctly both have heavier moisturizing ingredients and less protein). For my hair, this product has been excellent. My hair is 2B, color treated, and high porosity. It needs A LOT of protein. I've tried every mask from this brand and this is the one I reach for most often. It gives me a nice moisture boost without being so heavy that my hair is weighed down after. I tried this product in two ways. I tried it as it was recommended, which was to use heat for deeper penetration and the other was leaving the deep conditioner on for 30-40 minutes. I feel like doing it these ways got me the samw result which is great for people who dont like using heat at all. Using this helped me detangle my hair because it gave enough slip from how moisturizing it is. Also, my half of my hair has been bleached twice and the color immediately after. That side of my hair had been limp for so long until i started using this for weeks. I want to add emphasis on weeks because its not a fast process and it took multiple uses to start seeing my curl pattern get stronger. My only complaint is that spreading it can be a little bit hard and you might have to use alot to fully saturate the hair if you long hair. This is also not buttery enough for curlier hair, like 3c to 4c hair. (in the picture i did finger coil my hair but everything i said still is relevant. This is my first time using a Pacifica hair care product. I have used a sunscreen of theirs in the past and I liked it so I thought I'd give this a shot.Pros:Smell is nice. Not a strong or overwhelming coconut scent but still noticeable.Hair looks clean. There's not a lot of sudsing with this shampoo because its more of a cleansing shampoo.My hair does not feel dry. I use Pacifica makeup because they're cruelty free & vegan plus they usually work wonderfully. I was excited to see them come out with haircare so I decided to try out both the shampoo & conditioner. Unfortunately, both products really let me down. The shampoo was drying and made my hair a tangled mess. The conditioner doesn't even make up for how drying the shampoo is! I'm used to using more conditioner than shampoo but I had to use twice as much as I normally would and that's a lot given the size of the product. I wanted to give them another chance, hoping it was a fluke. Nope, did the same thing the second time. I had to buy another bottle of a different conditioner to help the dryness the shampoo caused because it was making my scalp flake. I have a pretty oily scalp so for it to cause it to dry to the point of flaking, I just had to give up on it. If they improve the formula, I'll give it another go. I gave 2 stars because it does leave your hair smelling good and for being both, cruelty free and vegan.Alexis

Verb Curl Conditioner was very light weight but hydrated my hair great. I have long hair and I had to use more to cover my hair but that’s nothing new for me. I normally put leave in conditioner and styling cream in my hair after shampooing and conditioning but I didn’t have to I just used a small amount of hair oil to tame a few hairs. I have wavy hair and I felt like it helped my little curls be more defined. One thing I forgot to mention in the shampoo review is that I love there’s barely any scent. I hate that most things now have strong scents and then you have to worry about any of them clashing. I would probably purchase the small shampoo and a large conditioner if you have long hair.Kollee
Maybe it is just my hair but I was a little disappointed in my hair texture and smoothness when my hair dried after using this. I used it with the Verb Curl Shampoo and the two together offer great results. The conditioner formula is so creamy, I could feel it seeping through my hair and onto my scalp immediately eliminating the frizz I had from being outside. Even after I got out of the shower my hair felt so smooth and sleek but as it started to dry I noticed the texture of my hair, while smooth to the touch, seemed rather dry in some places. Typically when I use a hydrating curl conditioner my hair will be quite smooth but not as much as I would have liked with this conditioner. That’s not to say this didn’t do a great job taming my frizz and defining my loose curls, I would have just liked to have had more of a silky feel after all was said and done.

I haven't used gel in my hair in years, as it brings back horrible high school memories of flaking and dry frizzy hair, ha ha. However, I picked this up on a whim and wow! It works for my 3b curls on the top and sides of my head, but it totally shines when I put it on my 4a curls at the back of my head (kitchen). Those babies end up perfectly spiraled! This stuff has a nice, flexible hold, and adds just a bit of shine to my curls. It's not sticky while applying it, but it IS sticky while it's drying. Once it's completely dry though that feeling goes away and you're left with bouncy, touchable curls that freaking LAST. I can get a good 3 or 4 days out of my wash n' go when I use this curling jelly, which for my hair is basically a miracle. It doesn't weigh my hair down and build up is actually fairly minimal. Love this product, can't reccomend it enough!
I searched years for a product to not only curl but moisturize my natural 4c course hair love it, I started with moisturizing curl activator love it, so I decided to try the Jelly and leave in conditioner. Love it as well, the leave in conditioner works well for me together with the jelly and activator and I tried on both wet and dry hair Awesome. Also you don't need to apply a lot a quarter or less size amount will do the job. Don't put to much in hair will get flakey. This is the best shampoo I have ever used! I received a sample of it in my subscription box and was amazed at the fact that it had more then one use in it! The shampoo spread nicely which is why there was more then one use in it. I have long hair too! It made my hair soft and shiny and healthy looking! It's hard to do that with my dry, brittle hair. this is a very good conditioner. I have the large size that I got from her website months ago and I still have a lot left. if theres one thing I'd bulk from this brand is this conditioner. I didnt check if they carry the large size at sephora. some advice for anyone who uses any of her products (shampoo, treatments, conditioners, leave in as well) use it in the shower!! add a cap to gain heat or steam your hair. make sure your hair is very wet. I didnt have much luck with her intensive conditioner and I have low porosity hair. it took more work to work in and the result was okay. I dont know much about the styling products but I've seen positive results. I also have not tried the shampoo because I have my own two favorites (camille rose ginger and sienna naturals shampoo for anyone wondering). out of her products I love the treatment, edge control, and this leave in conditioner. This line of products is great just buyer beware that not every hair type can handle a strengthening shampoo and conditioner everyday, I used this everyday during quarantine and my hair began to feel thick yet brittle. I wasn't able to run a brush or even my hands through it wet or dry. It felt like I had years of product build up in my hair, very heavy and weighed down and began cracking and stiffening at the ends. Finally braved my salon after 6 months and my hair dresser (who I have been going to for 14 years) touched my hair and immediately told me it wasn't normal, especially for my hair and asked if I was using a strengthening shampoo. She advised that a strengthening shampoo should be used once a week max and not for daily use. I ended up having to have a salon Malibu treatment to strip the build up and then a deep condition to make it healthy. Ended up costing me 2 more hours and $50 extra in my salon bill. Again this make work for some or most but my hair does not agree with this shampoo and conditioner. Thank goodness my hair recovered after the treatment. I have fine to normal straight hair.SR
I first used this product when samples were sent to me as a free gift when I purchased something else. I have very THICK curly hair and it literally feels like straw. I cant put too many products in it or it gets really greasy. Literally cant win. I love to just use shampoo/conditioner and a simple leave in treatment. I used this combo and my hair felt so amazing. I didn't have to use a leave in conditioner. I could brush through my hair no problem. literally zero tangles. So glad I tried this! My hair is wavy, long, and fine. It is colored red and as everyone knows, red definitely is prone to fading. I have not been using this long enough to say if it will retain my color any better than any other good sulfate free shampoo but so far so good! The reason I am so excited about this shampoo though is that my hair really looks terrific after I use it (along with the matching conditioner). It leaves my hair soft, full, clean, and well conditioned. I have tried so many other sulfate free shampoos and while they did help to protect my color better than regular shampoo, they left my hair feeling coated and looking dry or limp. My hair has so much bounce and shine after I use this– it's definitely my new favorite shampoo. Finally I love the scent. To me it's a subtle rose scent, not overpowering, just clean and floral. Ok so I have curly, coily, tapered-cut hair. My hair is VERY fine, dense, and colored. Usually my issue is my hair doesnt look like it does when it does WET, after it has dried. It gets dry, crunchy, and frizzy, and nothing I use ever really keeps the hair looking hydrated for more than a day. THIS STUFF IS MAGICAL. I had old hair, not clean, just rinsed it (most of my products during covid have just been water based moisturizers or leave in conditioners so they rinse pretty well. ) and I put on this product HERE… the 3 N 1 Mane Choice … OMG. I'd intended to use it like a cowash, and rinse it out. But my hair felt AMAZING. Soft, supple, thick and just juicy!! So I left it in – and it dried FRIZZFREE! Looks SOOO good. I really love this conditioner. I use it alongside the Easy On The Curls shampoo. It makes my hair frizz free, soft, and it's easy to comb out my tangles afterwards. The only cons are I wish it came in a bigger size (my hair reaches my hips, so I go through a bottle about every two weeks) and the conditioner is extra thick so it's really difficult to get product out. The bottle isn't that squeezable, so even though I store the conditioner upside down (I have shelves in my shower with holes in them for just this purpose) it is still very hard to get enough out to condition my hair. i received the original formula of this product, not their latest formula. i was expecting the latest formula and thats the one i am used to using but after i received the product i did my research and found most people prefer the original formula! so i decided to try it and it is great! i wouldnt say i like it more than the latest formula but it gave the desired results and has a milder vanilla scent. my favorite cowash!

Since the Pandemic started, my hair has been looking less than satisfying. I stumbled upon this leave-in conditioner, and after using it for the last few weeks my hair has completely transformed! It has gone back to my original curl pattern (more of an S wave) I actually thought I had lost my curl pattern. My hair is now soft, the curls are extremely well defined, moisturized and shiny. I also have much less shedding when I wash my hair in the shower. I am so glad that I purchased this product. This was exactly what my hair needed!!! Let me start by saying I am a big loyal customer of Mielle. But since I opened the bottle I disliked the smell 😩. It reminded me of ocean scented aromatics, febrezze, soaps, etc . I use the babassu shampoo , I got this for my husband , well I tried it today and I was please with the results it cleaned my hair wonderfully and the smell toned down in the shower, I did picked up some sweet aromas. If you don’t have allergies to perfumes or scents or strong scents don’t bother you, than this line is a 5 star but for a nose like mine is a 4 . The deep conditioner and leave in gave me so much volume , clean feel, defined light curls, but the smell of the leave in has already given me a headache. Maybe tone it down with the fragrance ? I am going to stick to my babassu line ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Much love to Mielle for always shining with the products.Suri

I’m so glad I took a chance on this conditioner. I was a bit worried because I have fine, low-porosity 2B/C hair and I thought this might overpower it. It’s been super frizzy and weak because I’ve been over-moisturising it. I’ve tried multiple deep conditioning protein treatments (Shea Moisture yogurt and manuka honey, Lazartigue, Briogeo don’t despair, repair) and even wore a drying bonnet to make my hair more receptive. None of them made much of a difference. Also, I’m quite sensitive to fragrance and get worried whenever people say a product “smells amazing”, as they’ve said about the Shea Moisture and Briogeo masks, which I found quite obnoxious. This one is very fruity and the smell mostly disappears after you rinse it out. It’s pleasant, if a bit odd, but not overwhelming. It’s certainly wouldn’t deter me from using it. All it took was one wash with this conditioner. My hair has transformed into a shiny, smooth mane. I’m so glad I tried it and I’m looking forward to checking out more from this range!Chloe
This is now part of my first-ever STAPLE products. I have never had a staple hair care product. I have odd hair strands that rarely like any mainstream hair care products. But, my hair loves this! I have very fine 3C/4A strands that get extremely tangled. This product MELTS away all the tangles and keeps my hair detangled all week long. I have never experienced a product that could do that for my hair before. The consistency is just like a non-thick yogurt, which my hair seems to love. The directions say to apply to wet hair. Because my hair is so fine, this was difficult even when starting with wet hair. So, I apply to damp hair. If it starts drying too quickly, I apply anyway and then spritz my hair after-the-fact with water or the JBCO water from this line. I seal the moisture in with a light oil/hair grease. My hair loves this combination. Can't wait to see if it helps me retain my hair length more easily. I currently have APL hair. Hoping to reach MBL by year's end.Tasha M.
I have long straight and fine hair – so maybe this wasn’t marketed towards me but I ended up loving it! I use a tiny amount through my ends and it does a great job and helping the dryness of my hair and taming some of the frizz. I love the smell of it too!
