I love the consistency of this conditioner but honestly not one I’d purchase all the time due to the price point. It definitely adds shine and luster to my hair but as someone with butt length hair – I have to use a decently good amount. This is, however, a product I’d purchase when I want to splurge a little and give a little extra luxury to my hair – especially with the nourishing ingredients and of course, gorgeous packaging! The bottle design is so extravagant but I honestly believe the price point is due to the packaging and brand name more than the formula as I’ve tried products with the same ingredients that’s weren’t as much in price. So I used this conditioner consistently for about a month. I must say that I am shocked how it made my hair feel. I had consistent results each time I used it. My hair felt smooth, shiny, had body to it and it never got weighed down to where I needed to do a clarifying shampoo day. I will say that this was better than my salon branded conditioners. There is no strong scent and smells very natural. Its not super thick and provides enough slippage so that your hair is detangled as your rinsing out. Once towel dried it’s so easy to comb through your hair without any knots and that was my favorite part. This is probably the best conditioner I've ever used. Not top 5 it's literally number 1. I went from using another pricey product that promised miracles from peptides in just 4 minutes that did major damage to Oribe. It's smoothed my hair back out from the tangled, mangled mess the other product left behind. I noticed with the first use that when I applied it my fingers glided right through my wet hair taking out tangles and knots ( I noticed I didn't need as much of this as I have with other conditioners). My hair was just as tangle free after rinsing. I could run a comb through my wet hair without yanking and pulling. The end product was silky soft hair with a healthy shine. I'm not ashamed to admit that it felt so nice I just kept running my fingers through it. It's also got a real lovely smell to it, hard to describe, it's a light scent but nice. It's pricey, I get it, but in the end it's not. How they have it formulated you don't need to use as much as you would other conditioners. I use less than half of what I would with others. The quality is outstanding. I have sensitive dry skin, also suffer from dermatographia, and my hair is a 3b/3c combination of dry ends and zigzag curls. As you can imagine finding any hair product strong enough to make my curls behave, but not agresive enough to make my scalp itch, was quite difficult until now. Due to my sensitivity, it's not uncommon for my skin to swell and itch because of a product.(which didn't happen with this product! yay!) The mild scent is really nice and natural, which I love because I don't like artificial fragrances. Every time I wash my hair my scalp feels free, if that makes any sense, as in it doesn't feel heavy with product and is able to breathe. You also don't need to use too much product in one wash since the texture is quite thick but spreads easily. After washing the hair is left soft but bouncy, it's easy to de-tangle and smells amazing. Because of my hair structure I tried multiple brands, and while some kinda worked, they required washing my hair every day since the roots would get oily cause of the product overload. With this one tho I could wash my hair once every 3 days(minimum) and that's awesome. It also moisturizes my scalp enough to get rid of the little dandruff I got from a product that irritated my skin. Overall I wholeheartedly recommend this brand !! I bought the whole line: shampoo, conditioner, mask, and curls definer. I use the mask once a week and the conditioner when not using the mask. The first picture is before I tried those product, and the second one is after the first wash. As you can see it looks soft, there's almost no brittle, it's shiny and I finally claimed my curls back! * this is not a cure for dermatographia! I have been using the Shea Moisture conditioner for approximately two weeks and was provided them by #trywithtopbox as a #freeproduct for my honest review. I have fine, thin, waist length hair that is naturally blonde starting to go grey, that is prone to split ends and I would describe as normal to oily. I don't wash it daily but every 2 to 3 days it's just too much work to do daily. I used the conditioner as directed and found that my hair combed out fairly easily even while still wet which was great as it tends to tangle quite badly when I don't use a good conditioner on it. My hair was soft and shiny and manageable. The container for this feels slightly greasy when I handle it during use even after rinsing them off. The conditioner bottle uses a pump as a dispenser which is great but I couldn't get the original one that came with the bottle to function. I replaced it with one I had but I noticed that the thick conditioner dries and forms a plug that takes several pumps to force out. I was actually really looking forward to using this because you would think that for its price and its hype, that this shampoo and conditioner would be amazing. They are not amazing at all. And I looked up some reviews on them too before I purchased and the reviews were pretty good overall, I guess I just didn't look hard enough. This shampoo and conditioner is probably best-suited for a person with straight hair. I would definitely advising against purchasing if you have anything besides straight hair. I have curly hair and not only did they steal all of the volume from my regular hair but I could still feel the oil and residue when it dried which I have NEVER experienced with any shampoo or conditioner before. And no I promise you I used a regular amount for my amount of hair. It was also very difficult to lather while in the shower, the shampoo didn't bubble and was very hard to to spread throughout my hair and the conditioner gave my hair a bunch of tangles too which is not good especially for girls with curly hair because we can't use brushes. If we do its frizz galore up there. The bottles are also tiny so that was a bummer as well. Overall very disappointed with this shampoo and conditioner and will not be purchasing again. The conditioner smelled good at least. I do apologize as I hate being mean but I hate wasting money more and I have never spent as much as I did on shampoo and conditioner before so I was hoping these would at least be good but unfortunately I was sorely disappointed. I’ve tried conditioner from all price ranges, including the very expensive raved about MLM type brands. This Redken lengthen and strengthen beats that easily! This shampoo left my hair feeling quenched BUT not oily or heavy, which has been a huge problem for me. Most conditioner weigh my hair down and make it look too shiny. My hair feels fresh and bouncy, I’ve noticed significant improvements with the movement and structure of my curls. The biggest payoff for me is that this product has helped my curls stay structured longer!! Previously my hair would dry curly and cute, but the curls would immediately fall or frizz out with a day/ponytail/sleeping. Not with Redken lengthen and strengthen though! I've always had long, wavy hair, and despite being magical mermaid hair, it is surprisingly temperamental, so for YEARS I've been on the lookout for my "perfect" conditioner! I feel like this one, is the closest I've come to finding the perfect conditioner! It has a fairly pleasant smell (not fruity… I can't quite place it… it's almost a vanilla? But with some other perfume on top). If you're sensitive to scents, definitely use the conditioner sparingly (it surprisingly goes a LONG WAY, so definitely use a little at a time!) I was afraid at first that it wasn't going to do my hair well, since my hair incredibly dramatic. After every use, my hair has felt luxurious! It feels like theres a coating over my hair, which at first felt weird, but its been protective of each strand, and my hair has looked really nice in photos! I love the results of this product. It smells so good and the texture is really thick and gets into my hair so I can rub it in and keep it there. I leave on for 2 minutes and then arrange and my hair feels so soft and smooth afterwards. I have definitely seen a small improvement in my hair then Since starting this product a few months ago. I have a fine, thin and arm-length hair that lack volume snd that require daily washing (thanks to the genes in my family). I have used many, maany professional hair products to find which one would work best for me, many of them being professional brands and higher on the price range. Had my hopes high with this one, but unfortunately they were not met. The good things are the bigger amount (300ml vs standard 250ml) and not too strong scent. These are the pluses for the conditioner and shampoo. Unfortunately the conditioner is too heavy in my opinion and despite washing it off properly it still weighs down my hair plus I really have to wash it the next day (which with other brands sometimes doesn’t happen). I also noticed that my hair became more frizzy and just not looking good.. I will try to finish the bottle (half way through!) but won’t repurchase.Alicja
I do not have fine or thin hair, but it isn't course or thick – I just have a lot of it. Because of that I struggle with volume at the roots and most shampoos and conditions either clean my hair and leave me with a dry scalp and flat hair, or it is weighted down and gets oily quick. Each time my results were amazing!!!! Naturally air-drying my hair left me with loads of body and volume and not only looked healthy, clean and bouncy – but it also felt amazing and smelled wonderful. When I blow-dried my hair, I had so much volume and it did not fall at all. I wash my hair twice a week and have to use dry shampoo and with this combo I made it through workouts and sleeping crazy and still had clean hair. That is a FIRST!!! I switched to the Super Dry Shampoo before turning their shampoo/conditioner and loved it…now I don't even have to use it unless I want a little refresh but overall I am good to go. My first impression of the smell from the bottles was not favorable, but when it is activated with water and applied to scalp and hair, it smells unbelievable. I love fragrances and everything I buy must be scented. After shampooing with the detox shampoo and conditioning with Ouai for fine hair – I hair and scalp feel cleaner than ever. I have very hard water and just one shampoo with this stuff has made my hair feel better than it has in years. I was using living proof detox prior to this and I will not go back! Please do not change these ingredients! It has taken me years to find a product that works for my hair which is very long and color treated. I have fine strands but it’s pretty dense – so I have a lot of it. I am letting my hair air dry, but scalp feels cool and tingly, so one or more ingredients has the blood flowing, for sure. I received this free product from Influenster/Marc Anthony for feedback and here’s my honest review: I really like this product. My hair had been thinning for some time and, after my first use of this product along with the same brand/line’s conditioner I saw a noticeable difference in how thick my hair looked. Unfortunately I did not take any photos of my hair at the start of product use — I wish I had! — and so I can’t speak to whether my hair looks thicker because hair grew or because this product just makes hair appear so. In any case, my hair looks and feels great since using this product line (almost a month, now): thicker, definitely softer, less frizz, and it smells amazingly. This was such a fun campaign to be in! There were FOUR full sized products that I got to try. I definitely felt I got a good sense of each product before writing my review. With that being said though, I honestly was not a fan of the shampoo. It’s not necessarily the product’s fault though because unless it was formulated for a dry scalp, there was no way I was going to be able use this long term. My hair didn’t feel drier the few of times I used this, but it also didn’t feel more moisturized either. It did look like it had a tad more volume, but that was probably in combination with the other products. It did smell really good (reminded me of a Bath and Body Works lotion. Couldn’t pinpoint which one) and the scent lasted for a couple days actually, but unless you have a normal scalp with hair that doesn’t require too much hydration, I would recommend sticking to your regular shampoo.christina.l
I’m super bummed about this shampoo. I read so many great reviews, and I found it at Walmart for a great price. So here we go — pros: it smells ANAZING. Like, super good. It kinda reminds me of Bath and Body Works sweet pea scent. And it’s sulfate free! Cons: It made my hair feel INCREDIBLY dry on the ends. Bad. And that was after the conditioner (plus rinsing with cold water). It also left a weird crunchy residue feeling on the top part of my hair, too. I made sure to rinse it all off as well, but it felt super weird on top when it started to dry. I’ll maybe use it one or two more times and then throw out the bottle. This product could work for you, though. I’ve read more good reviews than bad. I just personally haven’t had a good experience with it. Like, my hair was practically SCREAMING for hydration after using this product. I have very fine hair but a lot of it, and I’m just saying — my hair felt healthier after bleaching it awhile back than it did after using this shampoo + conditioner. This shampoo and conditioner has brought much peace to my house, as my partner has allergies to fragrance so I have been searching high and low. I tried the smaller sizes of these before getting the bigger ones because let's be honest, they aren't cheap. But it works great for my hair and won't cause anyone with fragrance allergies to have a reaction every time I shower. That said, I had to subtract one star simply because my package arrived and the conditioner was busted open and got all over my two bottles. I think maybe Sephora should consider labeling their boxes as fragile so they don't get thrown around to prevent this in the future. Wow !!! This is the weirdest conditioner I have ever used. So weird I think the formulation I got was wrong. So I have been using this every other day for about 5 months but the bottle is still magically full! Here's the deal. I found that the product was so thick I started adding water to it but after a couple more uses I would have to do it again, and again, and again and again. It doesn't seem to lose its qualities, though. It smells the same(not bad) and does what it claims but it is like a bottomless cup of coffee. It never ends. Which is a good thing, I guess, but makes me wonder what the heck is in it and I'm putting it on my hair. Hmmm! For that I give 3 stars.rhodohead

I bought two of each, shampoo & conditioner. I have only used them once, because they dried out my hair completely. My hair was literally squeaking, when I was wringing the water from my hair. I expected the conditioner to at least add some moisture. Isn’t that what conditioner does? Needless to say, my hair was so frizzy, and had so much static, that I didn’t ever use the product again. A nice and creamy consistensy with tea tree oil that you can actually feel it on your scalp in a freshing way. After shampooing I followed up with Pura d'or 2x Concetrated Biotin Conditioner and it just enhanced what it's shampoo was already doing. Hydrating it to start of with but also making it healthier and more manageble. Love that the shampoo is also color safe so that my mom who colors her hair can use it safely. One of the things that I love the most is what the conditioner does not contain like parabens and phthalates and even dyes. But yet it can still leave my hair nice and soft. Without knots in my hair and without it feeling striped of any nutrients at all. It really does make my hair thicker. Less wispy flyaway hair. I've tried another biotin product (one of the iherb brands) but it didn't have any noticeable difference. So, little fun story before we get into the full review. I was going to upload the picture of the shampoo liquid itself but the bottle stole the show that had to submit that instead, it looks like a small cologne bottle, but it is shampoo! and guess what, smells like a good manly fragrance too. Tried the product and I loved it, obviously didn't feel instant results about the moisture part but the nice aroma it leaves in your hair it's perceived from the first use. I suffer of dry skin, that also includes scalp. After a week of usage I noticed reduced dryness, thank god. Maybe or not important for you, but it is cruelty free, it is not tested in animals, which also gives confidence that was meant for humans by humans. Give it a try!Orion
I wanted to write a review on this product and express my sheer disappointment in its performance. By far though, this is the worst Conditioner I’ve ever used! I have it two stars because yes my hair is slightly softer than if I didn’t use conditioner at all, but this product doesn’t soften or condition my hair anywhere near as good as other products I have used including suave, dove, and others. This conditioner is quite runny and not very thick like a typical conditioner is, and I blame this for why it doesn’t work. I feel like whatever this is made out of just isn’t quite as good as a typical conditioner is. My hair is all weird on the ends and just isn’t soft like I desired. Because of this, I won’t be continuing to purchase this product anymore. I will buy a different brand as I know how it will effect my hair. I will include a 2 day picture and a 2week picture for comparison. The 2 day picture is the one in which my hair isn’t curly. I found the fragrance to be very pleasant. It reminds me of wet bark or moss on river rocks. It also has a sweet gardenia note. My hair was already in good shape prior to testing the Blackwood conditioner so the best I can say for it is that my hair is still in good shape. It kept my hair soft and silky. If you're into woodsy smells then this would be a good option. My only issue with it is the container. Sadly in my area I can’t recycle number seven plastics, your location may differ. I also find that the nice looking bottle will keep me from using all the product up, so not that economical. But on the plus side it has a pump and that will help with portioning.gaby

I have low porosity 2B with fine strands, but a lot of hair. I typically leave this on for 30 min under a cap. Pros: made hair feel incredibly soft and manageable after rinsing out. Seemed to help with brittleness and strengthening the hair. Scent is delicious, exactly like a vanilla-mint cake batter. Cons: Not as moisturizing as I expected, still needed to add a lot of leave in after rinsing out. I would guess it’s maybe more moisturizing for high porosity. This is the first Camille Rose product that I have tried that I didn't like. All of the others so far have been amazing, but for whatever reason this deep conditioner left my 4a high porosity hair feeling drier and more like straw than before I used it. It is a very thick consistency, which I usually like. It seemed like it never fully sank into/was absorbed by my hair and after leaving it to sit for about an hour I could still see it sitting on top of my hair. It is also quite expensive so unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

I tried this product in two ways. I tried it as it was recommended, which was to use heat for deeper penetration and the other was leaving the deep conditioner on for 30-40 minutes. I feel like doing it these ways got me the samw result which is great for people who dont like using heat at all. Using this helped me detangle my hair because it gave enough slip from how moisturizing it is. Also, my half of my hair has been bleached twice and the color immediately after. That side of my hair had been limp for so long until i started using this for weeks. I want to add emphasis on weeks because its not a fast process and it took multiple uses to start seeing my curl pattern get stronger. My only complaint is that spreading it can be a little bit hard and you might have to use alot to fully saturate the hair if you long hair. This is also not buttery enough for curlier hair, like 3c to 4c hair. (in the picture i did finger coil my hair but everything i said still is relevant. Getting to THAT age, and the loss of my much loved horse made my already fine and straight brown hair fall out constantly. I was slow to notice then suddenly it was gone and I thought that was it. I've only been using the shampoo and conditioner for less than a month, so I can't really comment on the growth element of it (I think that'd take more than a month anyway, to be honest), but I can say I've been really enjoying using these products. The very first thing I noticed after using this for the first time was how much easier it was to comb my hair through after getting out the shower – as someone with pretty long hair, this was really impressive, as usually it takes me ages to detangle it! The next thing I've noticed is how much less hair I'm seeing in my brush/comb when I brush or comb my hair now – there used to be loads, but its definitely reduced since I started using the shampoo and conditioner. The smell of both is lovely, nice and fresh and minty, and I feel like it really nourishes my scalp. Having to leave the shampoo on for 4 minutes and the conditioner for 3 minutes took a bit of getting used to (I'm usually a wash-rinse-and-go kinda gal) but I've just been busying myself with doing other stuff whilst I've left it to do it's thing! I haven't quite finished both bottles yet, so I will continue using them until I have and see if there has been any more difference to the growth of my hair. I'm 99% sure I'll repurchase, for no other reason than to keep using it so I can see if this will actually make a difference to my fine, thinning hair! All other products to help stop hair thinning are super expensive so to find something like this which is much cheaper is much, much better because even if, ultimately, it doesn't work, at least I won't have forked out nearly £40 on some chemical hair loss treatment that probably isn't great for my poor scalp – at least this feels nice and natural. I have used the products for 5 months without results. I think it's time to try something else. I was afraid that it will leave a very greasy, sticky layer on my hair, but it actually feels very light after you apply it to hair. It is pretty weightless and moisturising at the same time. It does reduced my hair's frizziness when I use it. That said, the moisturising effect is not too intense so if you have extremely dry hair, this might not be enough for you. I can't speak highly enough of the benefits of castor oil. I use it for castor oil packs over the liver and gut and spleen and adrenals its very antiinflammatory and helps organs detox and recover. I recently wrote a review for the shampoo that goes with this conditioner and it may be helpful also. This system for thinning/hair loss is unlike anything I've used before! I have light thinning in front right near my hairline from always having my thick, heavy, curly hair tied up in a bun or ponytail on top of my head. it's slowly pulled my hairline back, and I also have thin spots from parting my hair in the same spot every day for a long time. After using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo and treatment spray ONCE I saw a difference in how thin my hair looked. I am impressed. BUT this conditioner and the shampoo are mint scented and give a very intense cooling effect on the scalp and the feeling stays on your scalp for quite a while after rinsing… maybe 30 minutes or so. And any time air blows on you it reactivates the cooling sensation. Not as intense as when it was initially applied, but still enough to be unpleasant. Aside from the uncomfortable, highly unpleasant sensation on the scalp, this product is a great one. I would definitely recommend it to people who suffer from thinning/loss of hair.tara.j
I received the Nioxin System 1 (3 pieces) for free for testing purposes. These are my own opinions. First, I’d like to share that I’ve been using the 3 piece set (shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment) for a little over a month. I do not shampoo my hair daily and I try to go as many days as possible in between washes. That being said, I still saw some results in the short amount of time I used this product. First, the shampoo leaves your hair feeling clean. The smell is pleasant and there is a cooling, tingling sensation with these products that I really enjoy. My scalp can be on the dry side sometimes and it’s been looking clear with no irritation. The conditioner is nice and a little goes a long way. I massage the shampoo and conditioner into my scalp and I try to keep both products on for a few minutes in the shower so they can “sink in and work their magic�. After the shower I wrap my hair in a hair towel to absorb most of the moisture. Using a wide tooth comb, I detangle my hair, make a part on my scalp and spray the scalp treatment. I continue this all over my head. Comb-part-spray. I massage this product into my head and then style as usual. Ever since having kids (7 years ago) my hair has gone from crazy thick to thinning. It’s depressing and scary. I’ve collagen and biotin but I didn’t notice much of a difference. After using Nioxin for this short amount of time, I’m already seeing baby hairs!!! I’m hoping it’s new growth and not breakage. It looks like new to me. I wish this campaign was longer so I could have more time to know for sure. I’m happy with the results. After just a few weeks of use, I noticed my hair part looks less scarce than it used to. In order to read the instructions for this product, you need to peel a sticker, which removes some of the ink and makes them difficult to read, so I assume that this product was supposed to be used as a regular conditioner. After a couple of uses, I decided to read the instructions to make sure that I was using it correctly and that’s when I found out that you are supposed to apply the conditioner from the roots to the tips of your hair. I used it in that manner about four more times and that’s when I started noticing more dramatic results. I regularly use Pura D'Or ACV shampoo and conditioner. I love it. However since my hair is high-maintenance needing moisture I use a lot of conditioner. I decided to order just a bottle of conditioner alone. I tried a different type to see how alternating two different lines would benefit my hair. I know that some ingredients have different properties. The number one ingredient in the ACV conditioner is aloe vera. But the mix in this conditioner keeps my hair stronger and prevents split ends on the days when I just wet it. It effectively prevents my hair from getting thinner. My hair is shiny and there is less hair in my comb and brush.Sab
I have been using this shampoo for YEARS. When i first experienced clumps of hair shed I used it and immediately it halted my hair shed by half. My roots also felt lifted. It's not a miracle but it save a lot of my hair. What really helped my hair is cutting A LOT of hair off basically into a pixie cut, and getting blood work and finding the cause. For me I had severe iron deficiency anemia and never took any supplements for it. For years I had broken thin hair, that barely reached my nose in the front, Frankenstein mullet. My doctor ordered a prescription for iron and I got other pixie cut and treating my hair gently. I followed my prescription exactly. Used this shampoo, good conditioner, a weekly mask and pinned my hair up frequently to avoid friction but I blowout my hair every week with heat protectant. One year later and all of my hair goes past my chin and no bald spots. So major and life changing my boyfriend teases me saying he blinked and my hair grew. It's not thick and long but I have a good thickness lob now. I am extremely happy. Correcting my severe anemia was the biggest help to my hair but this shampoo helped control the damage. (Also my fatigue, pica, 15 hour slumbers and my inability to run with getting winded instantly gone with my iron prescription) This shampoo helped me keep the little hair I had over the years and I still use it. I notice a difference when I don't. Hope my review helps anyone.
I bought this (just the shampoo) for myself while Christmas shopping because I have thinning hair and an alopecia spot. it's been two months and I'm almost done with my first bottle. I wash my hair every other day. I started to notice I have little hairs poking out at my part that I can't lay flat. I was getting frustrated but then realized they are new baby hairs. I looked at my alopecia spot and I have thin sparse regrowth in that area which is a miracle because I haven't had any hair there in over five years. I will replenish my shampoo for sure but I'm also going to buy the conditioner with it this time. have patience! also I notice sometimes less hair in the drain but not always. I'm not sure if this stuff restarts the hair cycle or what but results speak for themselves. remember leave on scalp for at least 3-5 minutes and massage in!!kk
