This review is for the Light/Medium contour stick. It's really hard to find products that work with my fair skin tone but I'm pretty impressed with the color of this stick. It's the perfect brown with just a touch of gray in it, and works great with my neutral/cool undertone. It also doesn't overwhelm my skin tone and is perfectly subtle for a no makeup look. But still gives me the right amount of definition. The highlight side is almost white and has no shimmer that I can see. Works good for me to define the edge of eyeshadow and under brows. It's really creamy and easy to blend in, but this could be a bad thing if you want more of an intense countour. This has no fragrance to it and I haven't had any breakouts from this.kim.m
I love this product! I was totally intimidated by contouring until I found the Wonder Stick. I had no idea what color to choose between universal and light/medium. I went with light medium as I couldn't really determine the color in the tube or from swatch. Much to my pleasant surprise it's perfect. The darker color is not too orangey or too gray, it's just right for my light to medium complexion. No shimmer at all. The light end is more of a cream almost yellow, it adds perfect brightness without shimmer or too white. I rarely use an entire container of too many things because I'm a junkie bit I keep going back to this for it's ease of use and all around great performance. All that being said I decided to give the Universal shade a try. It's a big no for me. Dark tone is too orange, light shade is shimmery and barely shows up on my complexion. I wish NYX would come out with this product in just contour stick form. There is literally no need for the highlighter, especially when it is as bad as it is. Both products are mineral oil-based, so they glide on like grease paint, but don't feel too heavy. My issue with the highlighter side is it has very little coverage and is a shimmer balm. My forehead looked like a snow globe after applying. The contour side goes on opaque looking, but blends super easily. This one is better than my Anastasia contour stick, which is very stiff and harder to blend out. Just be cautious not to over blend it, because it can pretty much blend into nothing. Also over blending can remove the foundation underneath. I like that there is a drugstore option for contour sticks, but NYX should just do away with the highlight your side and re-launch as just a contour stick.Dee

I got this product off Amazon for $15 with little to no expectation about how great it is! I got the lighter of the two shades (200 hazelnut). This is an extremely versatile product. I like to use it as a contour or bronzer and it blends beautifully. I bought the Saie Sun Melt Bronzer from Sephora since I thought I would try it out but I think the Kiko product looks more natural on me. This shade is definitely cooler toned than bronzer, however still wouldnt call cool-toned – if you're searching for the perfect "gray-ish" contour then I would keep looking. However, I do thnk this is a really nice product if your skin has a little bit of warmth to it naturally. It is also really easy to use being in stick form and blends really nicely on top of foundation. I primarily use for nose contour and a little goes a long way. I have such a hard time finding the right shade for contour. I have pretty much always used these in shades Shadow or Fawn. Fawn is definitely a lot darker and looks more like a bronzer. Shadow is much lighter but still gives me more of a bronzing effect – it’s not quite grey enough to contour but works better than Fawn. I like the application for the most part, but find that they don’t blend super easy. I don’t think these should be marketed as contour sticks when they’re a bit too warm to actually contour with. I had an amazing in-depth review typed out, but Influenster kept crashing and wouldn’t let me post it, so here’s the short sweet. I’ve used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit religiously for years. I wanted to try something new to fit the current cream product/dewy skin trend. Unfortunately, I was a little let down by this product. It’s very yellow and full coverage. Application isn’t amazing, as it doesn’t glide well on my skin, even when I warm it in my hands first. Based on this I’d give it more of a 3-star rating. However, I have a feeling this could be due to an issue I’ve been experiencing with Ulta, where a lot of products I’ve purchased from them have seemed to be old and dried out. So, I give this product some grace for that reason and rounded up to 4. I do like the ease of blending that this product offers compared to The Fenty highlight stick was extremely patchy and seriously unblendable. Overall, this ABH highlighter just isn’t as good as the powder version/glow kit in my opinion. It doesn’t deliver enough glow for me. This is a really great bronzer stick. It's very easy to blend in and looks great without looking too cakey or as though you have too many layers of makeup on. It's very natural looking and is a beautiful colour. However, the colour is a bit too dark if you have lighter or skin with a bit of a pink undertone so would have to use very sparingly. I am in my late 60's and definitely want my skin to have a soft glow. Matte skin (to me!) is aging and unhealthy looking. This highlighting stick is perfect for adding a natural looking glow wherever it's wanted or needed. I apply it to both cheekbones as well as across my forehead and on my chin as my final makeup step. Then gently rub in so that it looks natural and not streaky. This is my go to everyday highlighter. It’s super easy to blend with your fingers. It has a nice shade that blends into my skin well. I use other highlighters when I have a full face on, but this one is great for bare skin. It’s such a big stick that it lasts forever. Easy to travel with too since it’s in a stick form. The little detail of the name on the inside lid to the magnetic enclosure to the finish of the packaging. The foundation itself is exactly what it's described as on my skin: -Buildable Medium Coverage -Natural finish -Blendable The foundation melts into your skin, & I was honestly surprised at the finish because usually clean makeup is barley noticeable or oily-ish. I would like to add that the formula has many benefits in the ingredients list. Phytosphinegosine: A potent compound that conserves moisture, reduces the appearance of fine lines, and targets redness and inflammation. Camellia Seed Oil: Protects the dermis from environmental pollutants while helping to repair skin and lock in moisture. Vegtable-derived squalane: This ingredient restores suppleness and flexibility to the skin for a dewy, fresh finish. No silicones, parabens, pegs, talc, phthalates, or synthetic fragrances. Even though Westman Atelier recommends not using a primer because most have silicone & aren't considered clean makeup, I had better long term results with a primer. If you have very natural, not too much texture, not oily or dry skin, then I can see the no need for primer. This stick foundation has a lovely creamy texture that glides onto the skin easily and blends in effortlessly! I wear the shade V and I find my color match is perfect for my medium neutral skin tone. It has a really natural skin-like finish. It looks like very realistic skin and it has soft natural glow. The creamy texture allows you to blend the foundation in so easily with your fingers, a brush, or a sponge. I love the really luxurious magnetic packaging. It’s such a great foundation for carrying around and traveling with. It easily fits in most bags. I love how gentle and nourishing it feels on my dry and dehydrated skin. It has a great medium coverage but it can be worn sheerest if blended out or it can be layered for more coverage. I really feel you don’t need a concealer with this formula because of the buildable formula. The foundation lasts really well without a primer on my skin. It applies really evenly and smoothly. On my dry skin, I find that it lasts beyond eight hours but I do need a little powder on the center of my face. Overall, I’m a huge fan of this clean formula and the quality this foundation performs! This is a foundation I will continue to reach for and I highly recommend.
Like most people here, I was incredibly excited to finally try the Westman foundation. The colour (0.5 fair neutral) was too dark for me (very fair olive). This didn't bother me too much, as it's always possible to exchange for a diff colour. The thing that was really disappointing was the formula. Many reviews state it feeling weightless or that it melts into their skin. I did not experience this AT ALL. I tried it every which way (light moisturizer, heavy moisturizer, primer, finger application, damp sponge application, brush application, powder before/after), but nothing worked. I was always left with the foundation sitting on top of my face, settling/creasing VERY badly, and showcasing peach fuzz. When I used it without powder, it never dried down and would slip off within the first few hours. When I used it WITH powder, it ate the powder up and looked super cakey. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong or if it was simply my skin type (combo) or perhaps a dud, but I cannot recommend this foundation to anyone. If you're looking for something that ACTUALLY blends into your skin and you don't need a bunch of coverage, I recommend trying Jane Iredale's Circle/Delete concealer. It plays well with every product I've paired it with, blends out to bare skin well, and the ingredients are clean. Still on the hunt for a good foundation, but that concealer will tide me over in the meantime. I'm 71 and pale/fair. I love Rhianna's look, but my initial thought was this line was aimed at darker skin tones and a younger demographic. NOT SO!!! More and more I'm finding answers to my makeup needs in Fenty. I tried for years to find a corrector for my under-eyes: finally — Fenty's pink correcting stick delivers! Literally have nothing is showing under my eyes – everything is corrected by a product so light and non-drying it's like a miracle. After sampling at least 17 foundations at Sephora, Fenty Pro-filter foundation won out. Also, after searching for a subtle blush, I found Fenty blush stick 'Yacht Lyfe', which is the perfect balance of peachy-pink. So . . . it's not just for young folks or particular skin tones: it's for everyone. Rhianna has done a brilliant job of delivering quality and performance. PROS: – Color; Amber is the perfect contour color for my light-medium warm skintone. It looks cool and ashy in the packaging, but the color warms up a touch to more of a warm brown when blended, without looking too orange. – Packaging; I can't say enough about the gorgeous packaging! The plastic doesn't feel cheap and feels like it will protect the product rather than let it shatter to pieces when tossed around in my makeup bag. Also love that the lid closes securely and with a satisfying click. – Staying power; the formula definitely takes some getting used to, but once you've contoured your face, the product lasts all day! Pre-pandemic I used to apply this at 8am before class and it would still look just as perfect at 8pm after a sweaty dance class as it did in the morning. CONS: – Difficult formula; this formula is much drier than a lot of the other cream contour products I've tried. It's definitely more of a true cream-to-powder product as it dries down quite quickly. From reading other reviews, it seems like Fenty Beauty products work best on people with oily skin, like Rihanna herself, because the natural heat and oils in your face would probably help the products blend a bit better. I have combo skin, with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, so it took a bit of trial-and-error to figure out the best way to use this product. The first time I tried it, I applied it directly from the stick all over my face, but the line under my cheekbone looked insanely patchy and I couldn't blend the product on my forehead because it had taken me so long to blend my cheek contour that it had dried down by the time I got to blending my forehead. I finally learned that the best way to apply it is to warm it up on your hand or finger first, then either apply directly to your face with the product on your finger, or use a brush/sponge to pickup some of the product on the back of your hand. I also only do one cheek at a time so that I can get an even blend before the product dries.green87
This is the matchstix in shade Honey which was not available as an option to review. I received this product in a subscription box thank God because I would not have been happy if I purchased this! Girls, first of all, the product hardly glides on your skin because it is so dry. It is supposed to be a cream to powder product but I already have dry skin and this just isn’t it. I absolutely love a cream contour but I wouldn’t even consider this a cream product. If you have dry or even normal skin stay far far away! Let me tell you, once I did manage to get it on my face, I could hardly blend it out because it was so dry. I had to basically soak a beauty blender with setting spray to get it to move at all. As far as pigmentation, it is very low. If this were the right color for me and I contoured with it, I don’t think anyone would even notice. This is not the fault of the product, but the shade honey is way too orange for me. The product is vegan and cruelty free so that is a plus. I would give this product a 2/10. I would not recommend this product nor would I ever purchase it. Sorry Rhi but save your money hunnys!

Love the contour side, it's nice and cool toned even if it looks kinda pink in the stick. Buildable formula that blends nicely into foundation without disturbing it. The highlighter side is something I do question, I can decide if it's supposed to be matte or shimmery? It's a strange in between satin-y finish and very pigmented but if it's meant to be a non-shimmer the pale colour might look ashy on some skin tones. So far I haven't found any use for that side.tarq

white pearl- this is, hands down, my favorite contour stick. I don't use the highlight side often but looooove the contour side. the formula is *chefs kiss*..perfect. the blend is so easy and white pearl is awesome for fair skin. the formula is really creamy and leaves a soft glow. i can get away without setting this but everyone is different. it doesnt break me out, either. I find this plays well with other products, too. the lightest shade is darker than I expected but doesn't pull red, orange, or gray on my skin tone. I really wish it would come back in stock.b

I got my make up done professionally for a wedding and they did contouring on my face. I had never thought I would like it or want to take the time to do it and I loved it. Mostly for a wedding! I went to ULTA in search of a similar contour palette. The make up artist used a wet creamy kind but I was turned to this contour stick. The girl at the make up counter suggested it because it was cream to powder and fool proof (much like my Benefit eyebrow pencil) LOL I didn't buy it at first glance I did some more research and then bought it online. And boy am I glad I did. I have used it twice after watching youtube videos and reading the instructions my second time looked just like my make up from that wedding. I am so happy with it. It cost about $39.50, it comes with the make up sponge, and if you buy it now you get a free deluxe size mascara by them as well. Try it out girls its so much easier than carrying around a huge palette!
Much to my disappointment, that was not a contour shade. That was a bronzing shade. Some people can use the same for both, but I have a cool enough skintone that any warmth in my contour makes me look ill. It has a lightly greasy sort of texture, which makes it very easy to blend, but it really does feel a bit like pancake. In fact, I ended up donating it to my local opera company, which they then used on nearly everyone with great success. So it's really blendable and has great pigmentation. It's just not a good contour color. However, the sponge is amazing. I like it better than my BeautyBlender. It's not worth buying the whole thing just for the sponge, so make sure the color is perfect for you first.nomercles
This is the first beauty product by Pur Cosmetics that I've tried, and it didn't disappoint. I like the stick formation of this makeup product and that it has both light + dark contour colors. The formula is rather creamy, has medium coverage, is buildable and blends nicely. This can be worn alone or applied over BB cream and/or foundation. A sponge was included, along with a "how to" insert. I rated 4 stars because I feel there could be more product, especially if paying full retail price. It blends so well and i've always avoided cream contour as i wasnt sure how it would last on my skin but once powder bronzer is applied on top it looks really nice and i feel like it really helps to sculpt your face. I love the shade itself, I received the bronzer stick in the shade Happy Sol, which has a slightly cool undertone and gives you such a nice natural sun kissed look. I am pretty fair naturally, so I love to use something to give my face a little warmth and dimension while still looking somewhat natural and not too orange or dark and this was perfect for just that. The packaging is minimal, sleek and modern and completely on trend. I appreciate that there is a variety of undertones available, although I would love to see the shades available in this bronzing stick expanded eventually to better suit even more skin tones. I own Always Sunny, Power Boost AND Happy Sol. I love all three. I think Always Sunny is my favorite. I have a light complexion (Persian/Indian/White/Italian mix). I wear 2W in Dior Airflash and so have a light but neutral/warm tone. All look good on me and I think I like the warmth of Always Sunny generally. I have very dry skin and this did not cling to dryness and applied beautiful. It literally melts into my skin as I tap it with my blender. It is impressive. I honestly have not used my Charlotte Tillbury contour wand since I got these……If Rare beauty comes out with more shades and restocks I will buy other shades and definitely restock when I run out. 10/10 recommend. If your shade is out of stock online try looking if it is available for pick up or if Kohls has it. Kohls still had Always Sunny and Power Boost. The contour side was a bit too orange for my liking, I tried out the shade for medium skin tones. The highlighter area was alright but I found they both dry up too fast. I do the contour first one area at a time and with some makeup spray to help blend, then the highlighter, spray and blend. I also liked blending a bit of the product on the back of my hand and applying with a brush. I do set the face with a powder bronzer and face powder after. I would not repurchase this but will finish the one I already have.Juju
Hello, unfortunately, the shade on the box is really nothing like the shade of the contour stick itself. The contour shade is quite orangey and light and doesn't really create a shadow. It just looks like an orange foundation streak. I regret buying 2 of them. I have mature skin with lines &; combo skin, mostly an oily forehead &; nose. The colour was a perfect match for my skin, matching my tone perfectly. It covered up any fine marks well but settled ever so slightly into my lines but I loved the look of it. After about 6 hours I did look slightly oily but I was going to take my makeup off by that time any way. I do think a blot &; a light powder would have fixed it though. I was excited to get this product for review because I’ve been in the market for a cream contour shade. Unfortunately, this didn’t check any of my boxes. Packaging is consistent with the rest of the brand’s packaging. I actually like the size and application process — it’s easy and only requires a brush or sponge to blend out; you can even use your fingers. Mine was loose in the casing so it fell out onto my vanity as soon as I opened it. I received the shade “Deep” which is the only shade fitting for my skin tone, however I find it pulls cooler than neutral. It looked really muddy/ashy on me. Though pigmented, it’s easy to blend out until you can barely see it if you want something subtle. Would recommend this to medium skin tones with neutral/cool undertones. I would be interested in trying this product in a better shade match to me if they decide to expand their line.22sp
I'm always hesitant to use contour sticks because they can be tricky to use and can make your makeup look awful. To my surprise I found that the Nudestix Sculpt Stick is not one of these intimidating contour sticks. The formula is very creamy! Most importantly, the stick is super easy to blend and even beginners can feel comfortable using this stick. I love how the stick gives my face a more sculpted look, especially on my jawline and cheekbones. The colour works very well for my skin tone and the longevity of the stick is pretty good. I would recommend keeping the stick away from warm areas as the product can become too soft. Otherwise, I am very happy with this stick and incorporate it daily into my routine!slc475
This is the same thing as their tinted blur foundation stick. It’s literally the same thing. They admitted it’s the same exact formula. Even tho at first they claimed it was completely different. The only difference is that this “has a neutral undertone” use it if you like it but it’s just very irritating and sketchy that they lied to me (on IG in one of their posts comments) and said this is a brand new never before seen product. And then a week or two later I saw them commenting that it’s the same formula. also, contour should have a COOL undertone. It’s supposed to be a shadow. FENTY came thru with REAL contour sticks so that’s what I’ll be getting.hadesISbae

lys created another amazing product once again! i love how lys incorporates skincare into makeup. i love that this contains great ingredients that benefit our skin. this is very pigmented and a little bit of product goes a long way. it’s so creamy and glides on like butter, it’s literally so easy to apply. it’s so creamy and blends out beautifully. it’s super blendable and buildable. i tried the shade “motivate” which is the lightest shade and this shade works for the days that i just want a more natural look. it gives my skin such a beautiful, glowy, golden bronzed, sunkissed look. the color is pretty but it does give a bit of yellowish undertone on my skin idk why. this one is a neutral shade but i would like to try the following darker shade to see how it looks compared to this one. i love lys packaging, it’s beautiful and the triangular shape is unique but i do have to be careful putting the lid back on this because the triangular stick form on this makes it hard not to dent some of the product on the lid.
This is the most perfect and versatile bronzer/contour stick ever! I’m using shade Motivate, for the Fair/Light complexion. I’m a light melanated woman and I’m 43(Mature Skin). There are a lot of days I’m not going to want to wear much makeup but still want a natural finish that’s lasting and beautiful. …this is it! This is definitely an everyday bronzer/contour stick. I would like to try a shade darker for a more contoured look. I love the coverage, it’s very lightweight, buildable and blends out perfectly. I recently got a Triple Fix Setting Powder and paired with this bronzer, the finished look was amazing. I highly recommend adding this to your bag and everyday look.AjahBella
I love this bronzer and have recommended it to several others (novices and pros alike!) And everyone else who's tried it upon my recommendation has loved it too! It's super pigmented but blends like a dream. Easy to apply directly onto skin, over base makeup, even over powder and it still blends effortlessly. Just as easy to apply with a brush. I have two colors, harmony and courage and they're beautiful. I haven't had any problems with melting or hitting the lid or anything. The only time the component has gotten messy is when I apply it to a brush, so I usually opt to apply to directly to my face. The coverage is natural but buildable and the undertones are perfect. As someone with a golden/olive undertone (I wear Tahoe in NARS) a lot of bronzers are too red orange and look like blush rather than bronzer. These are gorgeous, toasty shades that add a perfect amount of warmth. There are also not a lot of cream bronzers that are silicone free so as someone with a dimethicone allergy I'm so pleased with this release from LYS Beauty and will repurchase.Lindsey B.
