These pots disappointed me completely! i was excited to find them at a good price but i know why. After using them for about two weeks the smallest sauce pan started to peel. After the second time using the medium sauce pan it started blistering. I store my pots hanging from a rack over my island in my kitchen while putting them away my husband dropped the medium sauce pan on to the counter and it bent it very badly. So i would stay away from this set unless you only want them for appearance because they are not cook worth pans.Grammyof3
Bought these 3/31/2021. Love the set and how the look, great to cook with also. But my most used pan, the smaller sauce pan, got one little scratch on the bottom in the inside and since then the coating has started bubbling and coming off. Its finally bad enough that I don't feel safe using it anymore because there are always pieces of the nonstick coating in our food. I dont feel safe feeding it to my kids and will be looking for a different brand to purchase now. My husband bought me a set of these about 3 years ago and I love it. The cookware is still almost like new. It has done everything that was advertised. The only thing I wish could be changed are the handles to make them a little more comfortable. I have neuropathy and sometimes the sides feel sharp on my hands. This set was delivered to my home 2 days ago. I just used couple of pieces today and I fell in love with it! I made a beef stew in the saute pan and some brown rice in the 2.5 qt sauce pan. I did not have any problem with the food sticking to the pans at all! And cleaning the pans was a breeze. The pan used for the beef had a large stain inside after washing. This is kind of normal with most stainless steal pans and it should not affect how the pans cook the food.The pans are little heavy which is a sign of quality but could be an issue for the little chefs or seniors. I am getting rid of most of my old cookware now. I just wish this set had included a steamer insert to use with one of the sauce pans.Casablancaise
These are the best pots and pans I have ever owned! I was a cook in my younger years in some of the finer restaurants in Lake Tahoe and Seattle. I have owned the Calphalon anodized aluminum as well as a three layer stainless set from their competitor. I have no real complaints about those sets but this stackable set is my favorite. The set is beautiful and they have a nice assortment of sizes to meet most of my needs. I may want to buy the 8qt stockpot later. The stacking feature is great, I can fit the entire set in my deep pull out cabinet drawer. The cookware looks great. Each piece has stainless steel pieces attached with notches to help them line up for stacking and it gives them a rugged look. The lid notches will line up when on the pot but they don't need to, you can swing the handle anywhere and it still seals fine. I will say it is smart to line up the lid handle over the pot handle to keep it cool. The pans are great but the lids turned out to be the secret surprise of the set. Most lids are dome shaped and you must use a pot holder to pick them up because the handle is right over the heat. Then, when you put them on the counter they leave a circle of water from the steam. Not so with these lids. Because most of them have a long handle, you can pick up the lid with a bare hand. Then you simply flip the lid over and set it down on the counter upside down. No mess, no burn! You can also see your food through the glass lid which means no lifting when you are making rice etc. I would like to address a few complaints by other reviewers: These pans do not stain any worse than other stainless pans. Yes, when cooking certain foods like rice or beans, there will be a light stain after they come out of the dishwasher. All stainless steel pans do this. All you need to do is use a bit of Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser and they will look like new. Some people complain about food sticking to the pans. I have made dozens of different dishes in these pans now and you would have to work hard to get something to stick. I can even make eggs in the pans and they don't stick. To be fair it is a little harder to make eggs in a stainless pan but if you know how to heat the pan, add the butter and then put in the eggs, it will work like a high end non-stick pan. I also see complaints about hot handles. These handles only get hot after prolonged use over the heat source. They have a 'Y' at the base to help dissipate heat and I have never had to use a heat mitt to touch them. They are made of stainless steel and conduct heat the same as any other stainless handle. If you put them in the oven or broiler, yeah, they are gonna be hot! Sorry for the long review but I just want to say these pans are great. My only complaints are; the lids have a lip on the top side which catches water in the dishwasher, so when you take them out you have to wipe a few drops out. Also, like most stainless pans, the inner layer of aluminum is exposed at the pan edge. This means the dishwasher soap will erode the aluminum and after time there will be a gap at the edge. I do no recommend these pots as they are wrist breaking heavy. I even chipped my quarts counter top with the large pot. They must be very porous because it's impossible to get stains out of them so always look dirty. I made iced tea in the big one and it's now stained and the dishwasher (a Miele) does not get them clean so I have to scrub them by hand. I purchased them when we changed to an induction stove top and had to buy all new cookware. I use the nonstick pans and they are rather heavy but not like this so called stainless steel ones.Bubbles

Received my set and was very happy with the appearance. It wasn't too long before I discovered these pans don't do good in the dishwasher, we used the mixer to whip potatoes and it scratched up the interior so we won't be doing that again. And if the heat is too high it will mess with the appearance of the bottom of the pans. Last weekend I used the 9" cake pan and the cake was stuck and ruined. I purchased one of these and it started sticking after 6 weeks, progressively got worse. I never used heat higher than medium, never used it in the oven past 350 degrees (although it says you can go up to 400 degrees), never used any non-stick sprays (these will DEFINITELY ruin your pan!), never used metal utensils (or hand mixers, etc.), always used only soapy hot water to clean the inside surface. I will NEVER buy this pan again! ANY non-stick pan that won't last past 2-2 1/2 years is NOT worth purchasing. If frying chicken or ?? in oil, I use my WELL-SEASONED cast iron skillet. For everyday use (eggs, grilled cheese, etc.) I purchased a Tramontina commercial non-stick restaurant fry pan – I'm on my 2nd pan which lasted 2 1/2 years (using the same hints as above – i.e., no metal utensils, don't cook past medium heat, no non-stick sprays, etc.) I used this pan daily – sometimes multiple times daily so if you want a GOOD non-stick, suggest the Tramontina. Remember, NO non-stick pan will last past 2-2 1/2 years so expect to purchase a new one after that period of time. NOTE: The Gotham Steel will NOT last past 3 monthscoffeejams
I've been using 2 Gotham Steel 10 inch frying pans since July 2018. I use them almost every day and a photo would show them to look almost new. Grilled cheese, quesadillas, eggs, breakfast meats, searing steaks before grilling, chicken in salsa, and much more. On stove top and in oven. Use them smartly and they will continue to look great and do the job; fail to follow the "rules" and they will fail within weeks or days. What are these rules? * When you get the pan, wash it by hand with conventional dish soap (i.e. dawn) and dry. * Immediately "season" the pan with oil (safflower or peanut/ground oil is recommended) on the stove top or in the oven. Google "pan seasoning" to really understand how. * After cleaning in dishwasher, re-season before using. No seasoning, no non-stick! * A properly seasoned pan will need little or no oil for cooking AT LOW TO MEDIUM TEMPERATURES. * Use a minimum amount of oil, +/- a teaspoon, for most foods, in a properly seasoned pan. The "no oil at all" thing is not important to my diet and I use the smallest amount of olive oil sometimes with a little MCT oil mixed in. * NEVER use canned spray oils. The solvent that keeps the oil spray-able will change the non-stick surface, even after as few as 2 to 4 uses! * NEVER cook food on high heat. This will quickly erode the non-stick capability of the pan. Set your burner to MEDIUM heat, or just a little lower and WAIT for the pan to heat up, 2-3 minutes or so. Flick a little water to know when the pan is ready – the sizzle sound will tell you when. * NEVER scrape "stuck" food residue from the pan. After cooking, let the pan cool, fill with luke warm water in the sink and let it soak for 5 minutes or more. I then scrub my pans with a nylon kitchen brush or a nylon mesh pad. After a brief soak, they come amazingly clean with little effort. * Never clean with steel wool or abrasive cleansers like Comet. Key word here is "abrasive". A little baking soda and white vinegar is about the most abrasive mix I would use but I havent needed to go that far as yet. * Use nylon or plastic or wood utensils. Initially the surface seems immune to metal tools but scraping is scraping – both the pan and the tool will erode. Even dentists have to replace their tooth cleaning tools every so often. And don't do the egg-beater thing in the pan! Other than the TV hype, what would the point be? Above all, remember: these are typically $10 to $30 pans. They are not going to last forever. I originally expected 2 to 3 years when I bought them. Now I'm thinking more like 4 to 5. I like the pots and pans…I really do…BUT….there are 2 things, if I were the maker of them….change. I would make a lid for the larger pans and I’d get rid of rivets!! They are the first things to lose the anti-stick covering….annnd….they catch every bit of food particles that can get stuck to!! (I can’t make up my mind if that makes sense!!) I was pleasantly surprised that these pans are wonderful to cook in and the clean-up is very easy. I expected to pay a lot more for this quality. I just threw away a whole set of name brand pots and pans with the coating that peeled off after only 9 months of use. We are an elderly couple and do not use pans for cooking as much as we use to so we thought those "coated" pans should have lasted longer. I love these stainless steel pans. I wash them by hand and if there is any stuck on food, I add a little dish detergent and a little water and warm that on the stove (just like I do with my cast iron pans), and it comes right off. I bought these pans 2 years ago, and they still work just fine! Overall this is a pretty good deal for how cheap they are. I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade, however. I am an avid home cook, and in addition to this set I use a variety of frying pans. I been using this pan set for 2 weeks now. We make all meals at home and rarely order take out or go out. The first thing I need to say is this: if you have not used stainless steel and are used to non-stick, you have some learning to do! Do your research and learn how to use your cookware. The biggest things to remember: preheat your pan before adding food and use plenty of oil. If your meat sticks, that's a good thing; just wait until it releases on its own to move it around the pan. Later you can add some liquid (water, wine, vinegar, stock, etc.) to deglaze or release all of the lovely flavorful browned bits on the bottom of the pan. If you are a novice, I would recommend that you continue to use non-stick for delicate foods like eggs and fish. Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the review. Useability These pots will boil water! Perfect for making pasta, ramen, and anything with copious amounts of liquid. The bottoms have a tendency to scorch when there isn't as much water present, so you'll want to stir constantly. The frying pan has deep walls, so it will trap moisture and cause less evaporation than a pan with lower, sloping sides. I don't use this one very often, opting instead for non-stick (for ease of use and of clean-up), carbon steel, or cast iron. Again, these pans don't fare so well in a low-moisture setting. The handles are odd. Typically with the two-handled pots, one handle will get hot and one will stay cool during the cooking process, and that's if I use the correct burner size. The lids have vents, but they still rattle loudly when your water comes to a boil. It kind of works as an alarm so that I know the water is boiling – like the whistle of a tea kettle. Durability The casserole/dutch oven type pans are what I use the most, like one would use a sauce pan. Those have held up really well, and with a little bit of Barkeeper's Friend would look brand new. These are lightweight and. Not at all heavy. Easy to move from stobe to oven. The handles are hollow, but I haven't had problems with strength. None of them have bent or buckled. Clean-Up Food comes off of these just fine, although sometimes they require a good soak. We have hard water, so spots are inevitable, and sometimes the "rainbow" effect is too, but with some Barkeeper's Friend they shine like new. My husband blackened the entire bottom of the frying pan, and I anticipate that it will scrub away just fine, because that powder is magical. The hollow handles like to collect water, so I make sure to let my pans dry thoroughly before hanging them back on my wall. The Bottom Line If you're a casual home cook, a broke college student, or just someone who needs to boil water, I highly recommend this set. It's cheap and it works. I opened the box and they didn't smell like metal, the glass lids were sparkling and the stainless finish was like butter. I thought I'd miss the traditional long handles on the pots, but no. The pots nest well about the size of my large double boiler so they store on top of it in the cabinet, I've never had stackable pots before. The bottom of the pans and pots is heavy and thick like the reviews say, and the finish is fine milled. The first thing I did was throw the whole set into the dishwasher. my dishwasher is a small apt size one but this set including the lids all fit in together nicely. After the wash, I noticed still no metal smell like you get with store bought stainless pans. Then I poured some oil in the large fry pan and couldn't believe it that the pan sat flat on my crooked conventional burner, the oil heated up and didn't run all to one side and the pan sat solidly on the burner without rocking. I seared two chicken breasts put the lid on and let them fry under the lid for another 6 minutes. Honestly the best stove top fryed chicken I've made, moist and fully cooked. With the fond stuck on the pan I made a bar-b-que sauce right there with the fond, and the stuck on fats just slurped right up into the sauce and it boiled down without burning the sugar. hardly any stuck on fond after the sauce was done. Easy clean up, oils wash out easily. Cooks evenly, sits on the burner evenly. These pans are lighter than the heavy aluminum teflon pans I had that hurt my wrists to use. These pans are about a third heavier than the Tramontia brand. So glad I was able to purchase this set. I'm gonna throw away all the old ones. Very happy. Where do I start, there are lots of good things about this anodized cookware set! One thing that is unique to me compared to other cookware sets is that this set includes three pots and three pans in different sizes. Large, medium, and small in both the pans and pots. In the set you get the three pots, three pans, stock pot, and a deep saute pan. All them come with glass lids except the three pans but you can still use the pot lids for them if needed. This anodized cookware set is titanium copper and ceramic. My wife does most the cooking during the week and I do the cooking on the weekends. We have both been using the cookware and she is obsessed with this set. She raves about how nothing sticks to them and how easy they are to clean. No scrapping needed, because nothing we have cooked sticks to them. We have made omelets, sauteed veggies, rice, etc. Everything we have cooked in them comes out great. I'm just as surprised as my wife is at how great this cookware set is. This is also a great starter set for anyone that is in need of one, or like my wife said a great wedding gift. For price point and excellent all around cooking with little to no additional oils or sprays, this set really shines through and outpaces my older calphalon cookware. The cost savings in additional oils and sprays is a good cost point to consider when having to either condition and season a pan, or not have to worry about additional yearly or semi-annual maintenance on your traditional non-stick products. I'm not an accomplished cook…don't have years of cooking for a hubby and kids like a lot of you ladies. That means I usually turn the heat up too high, and I am always getting distracted long enough for my food to burn. I have scorched oatmeal, mushrooms, canned goods (especially diced new potatoes and carrots) and frozen cauliflower. When the food looks like it will have to be tossed, I am always surprised that I can scoop it up and it looks fine on the plate and tastes just fine. The pan, however, looks hopeless, with all the black goop stuck in the bottom of the pan. Here is what is amazing about this pan…a few swipes with a scouring pan and the burnt food just slides right off and leaves the pan with a shiny finish and zero scratches. The first time I used a scouring pad (my first time to scorch the pan) was scary. I just assumed if it took a scouring pan to get the stuff off, the finish would be ruined. Not true. My pan bounced back just as shiny as it was when I bought it. I have since scorched many pans of food and my pan looks as good today as it did when I bought it. I see absolutely zero evidence of any scratching, and I definitely don't see how the finish could come off. Please do as I say, not as I do, and try to remember to keep the heat at the appropriate temperature and to stay with your food when it is cooking on high. You will be happy with the results. And don't be afraid to scrub the inside of the pan with a scouring pan because your finish should be just fine. If you are like me and can't remember to check on the pan, then maybe we all need to take cooking lessons. What we don't need is another non-stick pan. We already own the best, IMHO.Darlene
I ordered these at Christmas, I was super excited to get them. Very disappointed in them, they arent scratch proof. They are great for the first few washes, but after that, we noticed the non stick coating started coming off. The handles kind of dig in your hands when moving them away from the stove. They could really use handle covers for better grip. One of the storage container lids literally came apart in the dishwasher the first time I washed them. The very first time I used the 2 and 3 qt. saucepans a followed the instructions and used a nylon whisk utensil and both pans had tons of scratches all over the bottoms of them. I didn’t even stir that hard! Very disappointing after following their recommendations. I never thought hard anodized would scratch that bad using nylon. I had just replaced my Pampered Chef set that I had for over 20 years. I was hoping these new pans would be my last set I’d ever buy. They heat evenly. The non-stick feature works well. The pots are not deep enough. I had to use the 3 quart sauce pot to boil a few eggs to get enough water to cover the eggs adequately. I boiled some potatoes and the top of the stove was a mess, not from overflow, but from tiny splatters because the sides of the pot are not high enough to contain them. The handles are touted as being cool to the touch. This is true on the pots and pans, but the handles on the lids get extremely hot and you need a pot holder to lift them. Also, the handles could be rounded on the bottom as they sort of dig into your hand and are not comfortable to hold.M Vida

For cheap, lightweight cookware, they're ok. For someone who knows cookware and has higher expectations, keep looking. They are lightweight, which is usually NOT a good thing for someone who cooks full meals. I see comments here from people who did not wash before use or put them in the oven or used on high heat and were disappointed. Of course they were. You cannot treat this type of pans like that and expect to be pleased. For heating up soups or cooking eggs or veggies they'll be fine as long as you don't use high heat. The coating WILL BURN. If you want to hard sear meat, you won't like the results. I bought these for a friend moving into his first place and the type of cooking he does will be fine for these pans and the price is good. We've had a set of nice Revere Stainless Tri-Ply cookware for about 15 years. They look good but are so heavy and worst of all, so slow to heat up and cool down. Since getting this Tramontina set, we have put the Revere set in the closet. We have a ceramic cooktop and it is SO much better to use these Tramontina so you can control the heat – remove it from the burner and it cools quickly unlike the tri-ply with the heavy stainless over a thick copper disc which stays hot a long time. And water boils much faster in the pot. However – two things to consider. FIRST – when seasoning the pans (per manufacturer instructions), the large skillet buckled on the bottom and would no longer sit flat. I fixed that by doing a bit of cautious hammering on the inverted skillet on my workbench. This fixed it, apparently for good as it has not been a problem since. SECOND – not mentioned in the online description, but printed on the box in the cautionary "fine" print, none of these pieces are to be used in an oven. Or for High heat (frying?) on a cooktop. What? So this limits their usefulness and we will have to keep the Revereware for oven-roasting, etc.CenTexan
Really Surprised at the lightweight. I cook on a 8 burner.. I tried the little fry pan first.. put the burner on low..cooked 2 burgers.. i added butter to the pan.. but i won't next time.. no need. I tried a single egg..without butter.. i was shocked it didn't stick i was able to simply flip the egg without a spatula.. and when it was ready.. slid it out onto a plate.. WAY easy. I've made tomatoe soup in the medium size sauce pan, cooked some noodles in the same pan.. and boiled some potatoes so far. I've used the brand before,they make a large fry pan with high sides, that cooks bacon easily. I have had that one for a couple years. My old pots and pans were very nice.. and very heavy.. all clad etc.. they have a new home with stronger cooks LOL. So far I rate the set as 5 out of 5. Very Happy, with sizes, with weight of the pots, and ease of cleaning. and the PRICE is super low.KJ

They look beautiful but if you use high heat, plan on going through a lot of brillo pads. My frying pans are already stained after a few uses. These were a gift, so if I were buying for myself, I’d look for something that doesn’t have toxic chemicals but also doesn’t permanently stain after a few uses with high heat and food getting stuck. I'll preface this by saying I wish I could do half stars for the rating, because these are a solid 4½. The stainless steel finish is absolutely gorgeous and durable. The handles do indeed stay cool, even when cooking on higher heats. The lids are well fitted and sit comfortably on the pans, locking in heat. The "no-drip" design ACTUALLY works. I use the smallest pot to boil water for tea and it consistently pours into my mug without spilling. The half star deduction comes from the difficulty in attaining a non-stick cooking surface. The bottoms of these pans are so receptive to heat in comparison to my old set of cheap pans that I ended up burning a dish or two before realizing that medium heat cooks more like medium-high on these. Luckily these pans clean up so easily that even burnt-on food comes right off without marring the surface. For under $200, Cuisinart hit a home run with this set and I'm not sure I could realistically be happier with them. Just BE CAREFUL because these pans are sensitive and it's easy to end up with far more heat than you need.Brian
Great quality stainless steel pans with a beautiful look and finish. They are very durable with a good weight and not too heavy. The riveted handles make it easy to grip without slipping. I had no issue with food sticking as I prepped my pan beforehand using a method I watched online to make it non stick (for a period time). It worked like a charm! Saute green onions very well until almost charred with some oil and then remove onions from pan and any excess oil with a paper towel then return to stove and cook your meats or whatever your cooking for dinner as normal. I love this cookware set and the best thing about it is that each piece comes with a lid. A variety of saucepan sizes is great. The frying pan is a perfect size, not too large or too small. You cannot beat the price. Using non metal cooking tools with this set has kept the non stick surface in good shape. They are dishwasher safe as well.

Honestly moving into my first grown up apartment all my own I wanted to get a set of pots and pans. After a ton of research Caraway came up top. I visited the site and loved all the colors but wasn’t a fan of the silver handle. While digging around I saw they did this collab with Crate & Barrel. First of all the colors are adorable and I love the gold handle. Obviously if you’re a cook your pots will start to get a bit of wear and tear over time but I love them so much. Just wish I had second set for show and one for use. The pots cook great, just don’t overdo it with a hot flame. Even though my pots are pretty worn at this point they cook great and still make me happy when I see them. Honestly debating getting a second set to replace my first one in a few years. I love them! Have use them for about 2 weeks now and it works perfectly. The color is gorgeous and does make my kitchen POP. There is some wear in one of the pana we use the most, but with a color so light, I was expecting that. Cleaning in them is a breeze and I love the storage system a lot. It's been half a year since I bought this. I've had many pans over the years, often from Costco or Amazon, I've had many Calphalon pans too. I stopped buying from Amazon because I worry about counterfeit; the other pans I've owned eventually develop scratches to the non stick coating, some even coming off into the food, and it only takes months for this to happen. Throwing pans out is such a waste. This has not happened with this set. No noticeable scratches yet, and as non stick as when I first got them. Also I love how these are stackable and the lids are interchangeable, it really saves room when I live in a small apartment. There's slightly too many pans in here for my use (minus 2 pans would have been a perfect number for how many I use) but since they don't take up much space when stored I don't even notice.Kevin
It seems like every non-stick pot/pan set we would get would get messed up pretty quickly (including other Cephalon sets). We cook at home more and really needed a new set. After reading a few reviews online, we picked this up. It has been months and they still look brand new with minimal effort. They literally wipe clean every time. NOTHING sticks to it. We love these and really found that they were worth the higher cost. The also heat up well, and fairly quickly. I have zero complaints. All this AND they nest well and take up such little precious real estate in the cabinets. We both highly recommend these!michwake
I purchased the stackable pots and pans approximately 3 years ago. They were purchased because of the features portrayed…space saving, nonstick, and most importantly, DISHWASHER SAFE! The only one of these features that holds true is the space saving and that receives 5 stars. The nonstick is minimal at best at this point and using the dishwasher has ruined just about every piece. The handle rivets have oxidized and along with scratching on the cooking, causes food to stick. The pots outside finish is coming off. It begins with the rim and then the entire pot becomes affected. The first year I had the pots and pans I was so impressed, I purchased 3 more sets for my adult children. One is also having the same problems.Kljones57

I bet the company is paying people to post fake 5 star reviews online stating what a wonderful set of pots and pans this product is. Another example of false advertising. Also, the business of posting fake reviews is rampant with the products pushed in infomercials. Companies like this pay contract customer service centers to repeatedly post fake reviews of their products. The FCC and the FTC allows this deceptive action because it generates taxes and an income base. These little pots are great for 1 or 2 people meals. They would work better on flat surface burners though because on gas ranges be careful as they tilt because the racks are usually have many gaps. I give them a 5 for size. I like them a lot because the little skillet can hold 3 eggs. I don't particularly love the coated interiors because like the silicone interiors, there is a residue that looks black. even when heating cold cuts. It is easy to clean; just wipe it out.Sylvuhfoxx

The first thing you notice about the product is that it's not too heavy and the non-stick coating really looks of great quality. I have been using it for last 5 days and I must say that I liked it very much. The pans and pots stack up easily and definitely saves lot of space when put into the cabinets. I guess this keeps the things tidy which I guess anyone would like to have their kitchen be. Another good thing is that most of them come with lids and I prefer is this way as it keeps my gas stove clean if I am making something which is more gravy based. I haven't used the fry basket as yet but possibly I am thinking of making fries in it. Let's see. But of all the things in a non-stick, most important is the performance and I can say that I liked it very much. I have tried cooking all sort of things including the cheese sandwich breads etc and they all came out without any problem. This makes the cleaning totally mess free and without damaging the coating. Although the product says that it's dishwasher safe, I have not tried it and personally i always tries to clean the pans immediately as soon as I am done. You never know if the dishwashing pods can erode the coating. But I guess that they should be safe as the manufacturer claims. Overall, I liked the product and I guess I can recommend the same.V795
These pans are very lightweight compared to my current cookware (stainless steel). However, they are sturdy and stay put when on the stove, heat evenly, and quickly. They do the job they should. The bronze outside makes them a nice looking set too. The box indicates that you can cook without oil and for a while you probably can, however, I did not try it. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, it is a good set of pots and most people who are "everyday" cooks will find them to be prefect for those needs. I took away a star because the inside of each pot is not as smooth as I would like. If you rub your hand inside, you will feel little bumps/imperfections. These are not going to change anything about your cooking experience but it left me curious about the overall, long term quality – will the rivets hold long term? Next. Where the handles/rivets are, the inside of the pan is going to collect food, especially sauces, which means you will spend a little more time cleaning. I prefer a pan that is smooth on the inside, which makes cleaning much, much easier and faster. Overall, this is a really good set and the fact that they were designed to stack will save some cabinet space. The set comes with every pan that you will need to prepare a meal. Ever wondered which cooking set can be most reliable when you’re cooking over ten different types of foods and dishes for extensive family and friends over the Holiday? I made fried eggs in the 7” pan, and omelets in the 9” pan with minimal oil needed, and I was very satisfied with the quality of the diamond coating – the egg frying, and fish searing and sautéing really was like cooking on air! These pots have really passed the test when I recently made back to school rice crispy treats. Even marshmallow was non-stick to the pan – AMAZING! I’ve also owned a copper set, and even by following the same cleaning procedure with baking soda and water, I’ve noticed the copper finish comeing off, but blue diamond coating lasts 10x longer because it is scratch resistant and indestructible. I’ve even used an electronic egg beater directly on the pan, and it is shocking- no scratch marks! The advanced technology incorporates millions of diamonds that are infused into the cookware. What makes this set so competitive among other brands is that the diamond helps transfer heat 4x fast than copper, and other stainless steel material. What normally would take me 1.5 hour to cook beef stew in pots would only take me about 1 hour to cook using diamond because of the intensive diamond heat transfer which also makes the heat so well distributed. I honestly love how much time this blue diamond cookware will be saving me daily without sacrificing quality of cooking. The pans work well for about the first few months as described by the reviews, but we've had these pans for over a year and the small frying pan has chips like crazy even after only using rubber spatulas on it. All of the other pieces also have scratch marks on them and it's unclear as to where they came from. All pots/pans remain nonstick, but the longevity of these are not what it seems. This cookware set truly exceeded my expectations. When you pick up any pot or pan, the first thing you will notice is that each piece is durable and made to last. The handles are comfortable, and each piece is surprisingly lightweight. The metal coating (infused with diamonds!) conducts heat exceptionally well, and I have had no trouble with heftier recipes whether it was sautéing, broiling, searing, or braising. My favorite thing about this 10-piece set is that the coating is metal utensil safe. Previously, I had to be very careful with my nonstick cookware, but the diamond coating makes these pans virtually indestructible. Another plus is how easily sticky messes can be cleaned! I live in a small apartment and my kitchen is tiny. I have one cupboard dedicated to pans and it is usually a hassle to fit everything in there. However, this set stacks nicely and fits in my cupboard with no issues. They are very sturdy and good quality non-stick pans. The coating inside the pan is a little unusual as I haven't ever seen anything like it before. They work pretty well as far as the non-stick aspect goes, but I did find that some sort of oil or butter is needed when making eggs because they did in fact stick to the pan as you can see in the photo I've uploaded.. That is the only issue I've had and it's not enough to make me unhappy with these pans by any means. As I stated, they stack well and they are sturdy and well made. I'd also like to mention that they wash very easily and the handles do not get hot during cooking so you can easily handle them during cooking.CouchSlouch1988
I really wanted to love these pots and pans. After the very first use (did not use any butter or oil or non stick sprays per instructions) the pan has stains to my disappointment. On a positive note the pans do feel/look sturdy and fancy. I have been finding these on sale at my local walmart and was excited to replace old kitchenware with Gotham.Angry
I've been using this set for about two weeks now and I couldn't be happier! I live in a small apartment so space in my kitchen is very minimal. This cookware set has saved me so much trouble trying to find space to keep my pots and pans. Normally i would have to try to stack pots, pans and lids only to have them falling out when I open the cabinet door. With these I know that I can stack them up and they will stay put, I love that! The gold color and sleek modern design of these is just beautiful, they go so nicely with my kitchen decor. Now lets talk about the performance of the cookware. I have cooked lots of things in these so far and nothing has stuck so far. It did take me a little time to get used to the non smooth cooking surface that these have. I was so worried that they would stick really bad since they weren't smooth, but I was pleasantly surprised. They've also been run through the dishwasher several times and are holding up really well.
