Reviews:
I’ve never in my life owned a Dyson but I finally decided to splurge and I’m glad I did! Here are my first impressions after getting up at the crack of dawn excited to test it out haha! It’s much quieter than I thought which is appreciated for those early morning cleanups after my toddler makes a mess but my older daughter is still sleeping. That laser is amazing but terrible at the same time…holy lord the stuff it was bringing to my attention was wild. I love the attachments and the one that lets you make it a 90 angle to go right under couches and furniture…chefs kiss. The floor dok is also a really nice feature as I don’t really have somewhere to mount it to the wall. It’s definitely heavier than I anticipated it to be. I do find I’m switching arms a lot so for someone who may be older or limited mobility it may be a bit cumbersome. I don’t hate that you have to press the button constantly to keep it on as it’s easier when you need to stop and go, but I do find it a bit awkward and my hand is a touch sore. I had it fully charged and used it for just over an hour and it’s now dead; I accomplished two floors, two sets of stairs and a couch set in that time. I only have hard floors besides two area rugs which are ruggables, and with the laser brush it has to be on eco otherwise it pulls them up. The other head it comes with does not work at all over ruggables. I don’t have any other ‘carpet’ so I cannot speak to its abilities with that. There are so many attachments this model comes with but there’s no where to store them – I would like to see some extra attachments for the floor dok to store them all. All in all though, highly satisfied with my purchase. I feel as though this is a prime example of “pay for what you get”. It’s a hefty price tag but I suspect this will last me years!Lindz02
This vacuum has the best suction and with 2 golden retrievers I need it but here are the cons It’s heavy and you have to hold in the switch to keep it running guessing this is to preserve the battery. All of the weight of the vacuum as at your wrist and hand and while 4.5 lbs doesn’t seem like much as you are holding it and the on button it is very stressful to your arm wrist and hand. When moving from hardwood to shag (I have all hardwood and two 8×10 shag type area rugs) the beater bar stops and the machine quits working even when you stop and move it to the highest setting so it won’t vacuum my area rugsI can’t even hardly push it through the carpet. I can let it and set it down and pull it. . It will do low pile rugs. Then it won’t stand up on its own you have to lean it on something or never stop vacuuming. I can get through most of my house 1400 square foot with the light before it dies or moves to eco. The head does not easily release to use just the end to get into tight spaces or replace with another attachment. The cord for the battery is actually quite short if you’re hoping to plug it in a closet or hide away place. Sleek as it may seem I don’t want a vacuum hanging up as decor so I’m going to have to add a plug somewhere out of sight. The pros are the light and suction provided you can really get every hair and see all dust if your room is not to bright the light really shows everything I turn down the lights to vacuum crazy I will definitely not buy another and totally regret this purchase for the price it really should come with two batteries and be able to vacuum carpet. I apologize in advance if I missed that in description could be my fault maybe it was never intended for them.Lynda
I waited almost a year for the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute (also known by other names in UK/AUS markets) to come back into stock. By the time Dyson Rewards came back for 2022 it was well worth the free Dok and extra tools. Dubbed Dyson’s most powerful cordless Vacuum (for now until/if Gen5 arrives on North American shores), the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is no slouch at peak 230AW. However running on these settings, are also it’s biggest flaw. At full boost, the battery will run down in sub 10 minutes, although clever marketing might make it seem like you’d get a full 60 minutes if you don’t read carefully. The auto settings are a good happy medium, with the Dyson able to detect if it needs to allocate a quick boost to suck up more stubborn/larger particles, however for legacy Dyson users (used to the superior and non time limited 306 AW) or people who like the power of a commercial vacuum, it can leave you a little wanting. To test whether or not the boost vs auto made much of a difference, I tested with the lights off, and vacuumed a standard hardwood floor. Dyson adverts typically show the user walking in a straight line seamlessly sucking up the path ahead, so this was the approach taken to ensure accurate repro. On auto, at first look, the Dyson missed some areas on first pass, as well as struggled with elevated parts of the flooring. Boost picked up particles no problem, but at the expense of the battery life. The laser sees *everything* missed, but also might make you even more of a clean freak. For spot checking (on plush animals, furniture and cushions), boost worked well and I could complete most tasks within the 10 minute time constraints. 4.5 hours seems like a long time to wait before being able to use the device again however especially with quick charge technology available in 2022. Pros: • Best Cordless Dyson in North America today. • Laser is amazing. • LED is great for toggling between settings and validating the work that has been done. • Boost is nothing to scoff at. Cons: • Very short battery life on boost. • Tool clip and nozzle shipped in *free additional tools* non-compatible. • As with most Dyson products, the fact they are made from silicon/plastic works as a magnet to attract dust and I find dust on the exterior of the housing on most days. One last piece, not exclusively related to the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute, but related to the items received in the bundle, the tool (specifically the noozle), did not fit flush in the tool clip which allows you to connect 2x tools to either the dock or the wand. I tried alternating all tools, angles, tightness of the clip, and still could not get the nozzle to fit without protruding (show in image), so came to the conclusion this is was missed in their considerations design. There is another nozzle (and light nozzle) which should fit onto the tool clip, but this did not ship in the tool bundle, and, would cost additional to buy. Either the tool clip needs to be redesigned to compensate for the added rim around the nozzle shipped or, this should be remedied through replacement program. • Not too heavy (can also be held with both hands for added weight distribution).

Reviews:
I bought this particular vacuum because I had used one at a friends's. I ordered mine on June 23rd and received it the next day! I was so excited! Three days later my friend called and said not to get the vacuum because her battery stopped charging and she had only had it for 4 months! Well, I kept mine thinking hers was a fluke but nope! After 4 1/2 months, my battery has stopped charging! I have tried to call the 1-800 number but it keeps saying "due to weather" they are closed and to call back. IF someone has any suggestions about what to do, please let me onow. I reallly liked this vacuum when it worked. Everything about was great….except now, the battery!Sad DRB in Florida
I've had many vacuums over the years and this is the worst. I extensively research items before I buy them to be sure they have the features I'm looking for, which is why I chose this product. If I could send it beck, I would. The dust cup disconnects from the handle regularly and already I've lost suction. It completely disconnects and falls apart with very little handling. It doesn't "prop up" on anything in my house like it says it should. Eureka is a good brand and I've had other stick vacs but this is awful.Jo
When I unpackaged my Eureka Rapid Clean pro, my first thought that it was too light weight and didnt look like it could handle much nor would the battery big long enough to make it around my house. I will say that I own a Kirby, Dyson, and no this Eureka so I have quite a bit to compare it to. Style wise it was similar to my Dyson V6 but not nearly as heavy. Super easy to assemble- I didnt even bother reading the instructions. I charged it up and took it around the house. Lucky for this review we are renovating our home so there is plenty of dust from hanging, texturing, and sanding drywall, 60 year old insulation fluff in and on everything and every corner and much more. I've been using my Dyson primarily before I received this just because its easier to grab- the Eureka Rapid Pro is MUCH lighter and just as easy to cart around. I LOVE that the head of the vacuum seems to sit really low to the ground where my other stick vacuum is a little higher and tends to grab things that are "too big" for it to handle and thus just shoot it out of the back- this Eureka is low enough that it doesnt really grab what it can't handle. I also love the extra wheels on the head allowing for REALLY nice range of motion.. and the LIGHT! Never thought a light on the head of a cordless vacuum would come in so handy but its life changing! I could SEE where the dust was under the bed and go where I needed and be done rather than just aimlessly moving it around and hoping I got what I needed to. Lastly- the battery life was wayyyy longer than my Dyson. I even used it- LET IT UNPLUGGED for a few days, used it again and left it unplugged again and used- that to me is amazing for a small stick vacuum. All in all- this is definitely a little machine with a big presence! Thank you!Anna

Reviews:
I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty
I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam
Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

Reviews:
It doesn't give you a opportunity to review the lift away anymore. Not sure why but I do want to say I had upgraded my steam mop and didn't realize what I was missing. I use the triangle piece to get in my bathtub so I can get it really clean. I had a very nasty roommate in my condo who had ruined my second bathroom bathtub I couldn't get the black stains off the bottom of the bathtub and I tried everything. So I thought what the heck and the little pieces would take too long. It made it beautifully white again and I thought I would have to replace it. To clean the pads so they come out white again I use spray and wash all over it and dawn (u have a HE washing machine) tide and cold water. They come out like new. I guess I have a little OCD especially since I let my neighbor borrow it and the big pad was black on both sides. I buy Shark on all my products except the blow dryer.
I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49
I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette

Reviews:
I’ve been using this WetVac every-other-day for four weeks now. Bare with me, this is probably the longest review in the history of online shopping – But I’m hoping this will share helpful information to those considering a purchase. I’ll start with my overall feelings – Yes, this is 100% worth the small investment. Our house is on the smaller side, 1200sq ft, 2 adults, a messy 6 year old, a baby in the crawling stage, and 2 dogs. Prior to this WetVac, I used disposable mopping pads three or four times a week on top of my daily sweeping, but our vinyl plank floors never felt fully clean, and our baby’s brown-kneed footie pajamas would speak to that. The first time I used this WetVac, I swept immediately before use. To say I was disgusted – “Had my husband dump it” kind of disgusted – The water in the dirty water tank was embarrassing. Not just that, there was a ton of dog hair and I had JUST swept. I had used our disposable mopping pads the day before. Clearly, they weren’t cutting it. Once the floor dried, I filled the clean water tank back up and cleaned again, then once more. On clean #3, the water was just a light grey. I am able to get through 1,200sq ft in about 15 minutes. When I say there is ZERO elbow grease required, I mean it. The wet brush really scrubs, but doesn’t scuff your floor even with the harder bristles mixed in. The water sprayer doesn’t dump water, there’s a gentle mist and it puts off just enough solution to dampen the floor for a thorough clean. My favorite part is – Our baby’s pajama knees no longer turn brown. I do have some pointers and other things to share, though: 1) Yes, you’re going to save a ton of time during the initial cleaning – However DO expect to invest some time to care for your WetVac: – The self-clean is a MUST after every use. If you have pets or particularly dirty floors, run the cycle twice or three times. I’ve noticed that after 1 self-clean cycle, there’s still some dog hair stuck to the brush. It takes nothing to run it a few times, as long as your clean water tank is full and your dirty water tank isn’t too full. – Do NOT leave the dirty water tank closed for more than a day. We went away for a 3-day weekend. I had drained the tanks before leaving, but there was a gross musty smell when I started using it the next morning. It was coming from the brush and the dirty water tank. What I have started doing to avoid this, is I take the dirty water tank apart, take the brush out, and let them dry on our porch after use. I haven’t had the musty smell since. – If you’re planning to use this as a normal vacuum, I’ll warn you that the brush is not clean-out friendly. You’re going to have to clean hair, strings, you name it – off the brush. Truthfully, I used ours as a regular vacuum once to see how it worked in our 1 carpeted room, and I threw the brush right away. I’ll never use it as a regular vacuum again. 2) If you bump into furniture while using the WetVac feature, it can pop off the brush cover. – If you bump into something, push the cover down with your foot to re-secure it. Otherwise, it can fall off and you’ll get sprayed with water. Fun times. 3) I might be overthinking this, but I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening. – I’ve realized, I was able to get my floors done with about 75% left of charge left at first. Now, I have 66-68% left after a clean for the same Sq Ft. I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening, I’ll report back eventually. 4) The “dirty water tank” sensor. – I’m not sure if it’s a faulty sensor, though I always start with a clean and dry tank and sponge. It tells me 3 or 4 times to clean the dirty water tank and sponge, even though they’re still empty. It’s annoying but not a deal-breaker. Overall, there’s a few quirks as expected. But I will tell you, I’ll never go back to disposable mopping pads. This was a game changer for this ever-busy mama and I am truly pleased with the job it does cleaning our floors.Lauren7
I really want to love it, like I love their Robovac, but it does have a few shortcomings. I understand this is their 1st wetvac and got $100 off on Amazon. 1. Self Clean uses alot of water, so you have to fill the solution tank every time, I wish the tank was larger. 2. They made the hole to fill the solution tank so small, its a task to get the water and solution in it. 3. Cleaning cycle does not get the mop brush totally smell free, for this reason I would like to get another mop brush but do not see where parts can be ordered on their website for the wetvac???????? So I sent a support ticket. 4. My drying light never comes on, so I dont think my brush is getting fully dry. Sent support ticket. 5. A light spray of water can be felt out of the fans when using it. (I will post more as I continue to use it.)
I love this WetVac. It has made my life so much easier, because now I don't need to sweep then mop. I love how it has a trigger to let the water out, so if you don't need to mop a certain area, you can just vacuum it. I also really love that it has a high and Lo setting. I really love that it has a self cleaning feature. I also really love that it tells you the percentage of the battery that is left. The only thing I did not like about this vacuum was the cord that goes from the outlet to the base is not very long. I wish it was just a little bit longer. Overall this is a great Vacuum and I would highly recommend it.cutegene

Reviews:
Having purchased two Dyson handhelds in the past, I thought I would give Hoover a try this time around (as I do own a pull around canister Hoover that I've had since 2007 and its been awesome) . Unfortunately, I am left disappointed. If you want a vacuum that won't suck up the smallest of crumbs but rather push them around and shoot them out in every direction causing you more work, clogs up with little to no dust particles constantly, and then get zero help or back up from their customer support, then this is the vacuum for you! Because the vacuum couldn't be returned to store once it was used, I contacted the company directly. They proceeded to copy and paste their "de-clogging" instructions, and then ignored the rest of my emails. I am capable of reading a manual and this didn't help me what-so-ever. I cannot believe they actually advertise this as a PET model, because I am using it for much less dirty jobs than pet hair and/or litter, etc. and it's essentially useless. The only good thing I have found about it is the dual batteries and the battery life. However, that isn't very helpful alone when the vacuum doesn't do its job properly. Unfortunately due to the lack of support from Hoover itself, I will not be purchasing any more of their products or recommending to anyone else.kmitschke
I am quite impressed with my new vacuum. Every detail of it seems well thought out which means a lot in this day and age. It really seems to be built to last a long time. All the electronic parts are protected. I really appreciate the brushless "digital" motor. Every little detail is engineered like the battery and charger LED animations syncing together. It came with a silent 4-amp fast charger that charges fully in one hour. This is even including that it waits to charge the battery until it is the optimal temp so it doesn't degrade faster. Each battery and the whole vacuum have a three year limited warranty. The batteries have built-in smart BMS's that communicate with the vacuum and charger to make sure the cells are within their optimal ranges. I noticed the wheels are multi-piece with rubber tread unlike other vacuums I've seen. The whole vacuum is quite simple and intuitive. The phone customer service was some of the best I've ever had. The packaging was recyclable, even the plastic bags. The regular mode seems to clean better than our old corded Shark vacuum and the boost mode is crazy and like suctions it to the carpet. It gets a whopping 9 minutes of run time on boost mode though. The brushroll head is like 3/4 the width of the Shark's so you have to do more lines. The brushroll motor stopped many times to cool down today while I was vacuuming our nasty apartment's carpet. I needed to swap batteries a few times. I charged the other battery while I was using the other. I got the second battery for free as a promotion and it's very needed. Being a cordless stick vacuum is really quite nice but while it can go all the way under couches the weight is located where your hand is which makes it feel a lot heavier than it is. The hours of online research I did was definitely worth it. It would've been a five-star review but Hoover/FedEx's communication on the payment and shipping was very non-existent. Hoover's website could use some work. #sweepstakesTimothy
Did lots of research on many different brands/types of battery powered handheld vacuums for auto and coffee cart cleaning. I roast my own coffee, addicted to espresso daily and those things can be a bit messy at times. This vacuum makes very short/efficient work of cleaning everything I put it through. I could tell just by unboxing it that the build quality is outstanding just based on the feel of the materials used, let alone actually charging/using it. The system is very well thought out with every possible attachment needed for all sorts of mild/moderate cleaning jobs. Very compact to get into the most confined areas too. The filtration system is as efficient as advertised as it never loses suction and the actual filter stays spotless due to the design. Super easy to empty the filter container with no mess/inconvenience. Have seen a few complaints in reviews regarding the battery capacity and yes it does fade when being pushed on MAX cleaning, but it does a great/quick job nonetheless. People should understand you simply can't have MAX performance/capacity simultaneously… Both battery packs give good runtime for the use I put it through and charge in a reasonable amount of time and don't experience any sort of low self-discharge when sitting on a shelf unused for any realistic period of time. Nice to have the option to buy more packs as these age as we have had to toss other brands when the battery fades due to it NOT being user serviceable and just dies. Last point I will make is the awesome design of the powered brush roller as it works very well at various angles and being able to remove the brush roller for easy cleaning is ingenious. Most other brands require the debris to be cut/pulled off of that part due to terrible design.Thomas

I was sent the A10 model instead and just noticed after I needed a replacement battery less than a year after purchase. Beware, the new batteries are around $90! Most other well known brands have batteries for much less. This vacuum sucks…horribly. The customer service is horrible. Most of the time I've owned this the max power button does not work. The company sends a long list of trouble shooting and then closes the claim. I've never had this problem solved. I would NEVER purchase this brand again. It is cheap, horrible customer service, and replacement parts cost almost as much as the vacuum that struggles to suck up lint and tiny pieces of dried grass or paper.Rayl
This cordless vac has been a blessing for me to use as I have neuropathy in my legs and was constantly getting tangled up in the cord from my previous vacuum cleaner. This unit makes it easy to switch vacuum heads as I do when cleaning a few area rugs to get all the pet hairs. It easily picks up all the pet hairs on our hardwood floors with the regular head attachment. My unit came with two batteries and I can easily do our whole house with one battery. The dirt tank is easy to empty and clean.
My unit is the A11 Master and it came with a lot of additional attachments and the long crevice tool makes it easy to clean under and between all our appliances as they often have a lot of dust and pet hairs under and between them.Mark B

A couplt of months ago I bought the A11 Hero for my son's birthday based on the description here, which at that time showed 2 batteries and a floor mounted charging station. I didn't want it hanging on his wall. He opened it a few weeks ago and it only had one battery, so I wrote to Tineco and asked for the missing battery. They said, basically, tough because now our design for the A11 is wall mounted with one battery! I explained over and over that the new version is not the one I bought and I want what I was promised on their ad. I showed them video reviews of the model I bought where they got 2 batteries but Tineco refuses to listen. Based on their customer service I wouldn't recommend anything made by Tineco!tjnamtiw

Reviews:
I only write reviews for excellent or problematic purchases- This appliance cleans quite well, however the battery run time is 10 minutes, not 20, and even in a 700 sq foot home, three uses were required, and the charge time is four hours each time. It cannot angulate under furniture more than 1-2 feet. The waste water reserve is only 150 ML – tiny. The fresh water is 300 ML, double, so the waste water could fill while a great deal of fresh water is still in the tank. The FC-5 corded unit would eliminate the tiny run time, and allow one to clean floors at one time in a small home. It is actually less expensive too. Its waste water reserve is 200 ML, larger, than the 150 ML on this. I cannot recommend this unit to anyone who is serious about cleaning and wanting to be efficient. For the higher price, it is not a reasonable purchase. The guarantee by QVC is helpful as Karcher wont help much. . I even read that their customer service requires pre payment to ask questions but I have not verified myself and have no intention as this must be returned. I would suggest consider the corded FC-5 or the Hoover Flooormate, now called Pet Dash, however that uses scrub brushes, can leave water pooling, and is too bulky to get under any furniture to any serious degree. I hope this helps someone else to avoid spending so much money and time only to realize the unit ought not be on the QVC website. I mentioned all this to customer service. Hopefully the management will review.Dr Jullian
Super noisy and has too much stuff to clean and wash. Plus you have to wait for the rollers to dry. Ain’t no one got time for that. I like to put things away right away but with this the rollers are hanging around in my laundry room cuz I have to dry them. It says you can put rollers in dishwasher but that’s kinda gross. Hah I have a steam mop and got this as a gift. Def didn’t need it because my steam mop is nice and quiet and works great! This mop is too pricey for me to even think to spend that much on it.Lkop
When I originally used this product I thought it was great, easy to use and did a good job. However the charge lasted for part of my floors so I had to empty it and put it on the charger for an hour before finishing the family room, bath room and laundry room. I had to charge it again to do the landing by the front door. Once I took the rollers off the first time I couldn't get them back on correctly and the booklet stopped before telling me how t reinstall them. One of the rollers tends to start coming off during use. Its too bad because I really like how light it was and how it cleaned well. I have now seen the newer one you put out with the cord but all the reviews say the cord id too short.Eileen

So I have white tiles and 4 children, we live in the desert. Things get DIRTY FAST. I’ve done it all as far as cleaning the floors including getting on my hands and knees but come On it’s 2020 people, ain’t no need for that! This hard floor cleaner is impressive. Pros: rechargeable and cordless so you’re not limited as to where you can go. The spinning mop rollers and the design of the cleaner allows you to get right up to the baseboard!! This is a first for me and wow. I can’t ever go back. Clean and dirty water tanks are a must. Otherwise what are you cleaning? Aren’t you just swishing around dirty water? The cleaner is strong. I can’t believe 1/4 cap is enough to clean but the dirty water tank is evidence of the grime. My water was black. It is powerful!! The pull on this bad boy was shocking. It just moves for you. Cons: the base where you can pull off to clean is a little difficult to take on and off. Everything else I loved about this cleaner!Ahonda
This hardwood floor cleaner is absolutely amazing! I love that it easily glides over any hardwood floor surface and the assembly was super fast. It came with a quick start guide that made setup super easy. I love that the water tank is lightweight and easy to clean. I was able to do my entire kitchen, hallways and dining room with one water tank. It left my floors shiny and spotless with no streaks. My floor wasnt sticky and there was no residue. The stand that came with it is also a blessing to have because Im able to easily store it and it helps with charging. This is one of the best hardwood floor cleaners Ive ever owned.Murphy29
I'm so glad that I bought this. I hate to mop, but with this, it's so easy, and it really does get the floor both clean and almost dry. I was afraid that the cordless model wouldn't have enough power, but I hate dealing with cords, so I tried it anyway. This thing has massive power! When you turn it on, be prepared, it really pulls.shaliali

Reviews:
This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. For $99 it is not worth it. This should be a $39 dollar machine tops.Cutlass275
This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. I was just going to eat the price and use the swifter but the more I thought about it. No, I’m sick of buying things that work maybe once then I end up with expensive junk I’m never going to use. I want my money back or a replacement.rehnee
So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

Reviews:
I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney
I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. Make sure you youse warm-hot water with or without solution since will tackle the dirt better. I’m happy with the product and it really saves me a lot of time and does a great job!!!Denisik91
I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

Reviews:
I have had this for over 12 months now and still works brilliantly! I upgraded from a Dyson v6 and the quality of the Miele absolutely outshines the flimsy Dyson! Even using newer Dyson models since the upgrade I feel confident that I made the right choice! I love that when the motor is in the bottom position it is able to stand on its own. No need to lean against the wall or bench, being how I often dropped the Dyson! It is also so easy to move around, other people complain that it’s heavy, but with the motor near the head it is much lighter and incredibly easy to manoeuvre. The design of the head gives it stability and direction, using a Dyson the head often flips around, but the Miele is much like using a standard vacuum, minus the bloody cord! Even with the motor at the bottom I can still get under the bed. It’s just a fabulous machine! My partner is even thrilled with it and often recommends it to people. Great suction, run time and functionality. No complaints from me, and will replace with the same or newer model when the time comes.Rachel23
Purchased this at local Best Buy on sale. It's certainly heavier than the average stick vacuum however, there are options as to how you can set it up: motor on the top or bottom. When the motor is on the bottom, the weight is less of a problem and in this setting, the vacuum can stand upright on its own. I've read reviews that it is loud however, I don't personally find that to be the case. The dirt this picks up is quite impressive. I have a Dyson stick and it doesn't compare to the Meile. I vacuumed carpets with the Dyson first, then again with the Meile. The Meile canister was almost full in 5 minutes. It picks up dirt and dust not visible to the naked eye and missed by the Dyson. Battery power is decent and based on professional reviews, the best on the market. On the lowest setting, Meile says you'll get 60 minutes. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge an empty battery. The dust canister is smallish, but I don't find this an issue as Melie uses a vortex to compact the dirt and dust. It is expensive but Melie says with good care, it'll last 20 years and it's made in Germany. So, you get what you pay for. I have a Meile canister vacuum and I fully believe this vacuum picks up more dirt than the canister. It's also very easy to reconfigure the vacuum to how you wish to use it. Also easy to empty the bin.SMack
PROS: I haven't seen a vacuum clean up hidden debris this well since my mother's Swedish canister vacuum of the 1960s, which my little brother used to gleefully ride (a no-no). I'm done buying other stick vacuums that cost $150, last only 12-18 months, and do poorly in the last few months. I'm done feeling grit under my feet even after a vacuuming. This Miele stick vacuum is effectively removing the fine dust that has accumulated in the grooves of my hardwood floors. It has cleaned my wool area rugs so well that the beautiful patterns and colors are now restored. The attached picture shows the fine dirt and residual hair (yes I have a dog) the Miele found less than 24 hours after the last vacuuming by the $150 stick. I love the quietness of the Miele as I am noise-sensitive and this doesn't whine like others. I love that this Miele does not make me tired and sore after a short vacuuming (1150 sf of hardwood, ceramic tile, and smaller area rugs). I have the canister on the lower portion and it creates little to no strain on my lower back or my shoulders ( I am tall and not 20 anymore). It has a low enough profile to get under a good portion of my sofas, beds, and other furniture. This Miele stick vacuum is easy to maneuver, even with my non-dominant hand. CONS: As many others have noted, it's a bugger to empty the basket. I have a little knowledge of the German language, but I doubt it would help, so I reserve my German for a few cuss words. Both of us have read the instructions multiple times, looked carefully at the back of the book diagrams repeatedly and we literally practiced together 4-5 times each on emptying and reassembling the basket and accompanying parts. He remains a bit wary as he doesn't want to man-handle and accidentally break it. It takes practice and lots of patience, steady but sure, to become comfortable with this process. But it is well worth the effort because this Miele stick vacuum is exceptionally good at clean-up. The only other CON is the price. Using my store coupon, I was able to save $100. If this Miele continues to perform well 3 years from now, I will at least break even in cost when compared to my previously purchased $150 sticks, and the cleaning results will be superior if current performance continues. Time will tell.Dane

I purchased this to sweep the laminate floors in my apartment. It was fine the first few months, but the quality dropped off sharply before I had owned it for a year. The roller would randomly lose power, even after I cleaned it and the roller. When I needed to buy replacement parts I was shocked at how expensive they were compared to other vacuums I have owned in the past. The lack of accessories was also disheartening. It works well as a dust-buster style handheld but is terrible as a floor sweeper. I only use it on my stairs now. I will use it until it finally dies, but do not feel confident purchasing another Dirt Devil product.Steven
My condo overlooks the Gulf in southwest Florida. I thought I'd be smart and put in no-see-'em screens on my lanai. Well the screens work great for the bugs = none. But the finer pitch of the screen also acts as a silt collector for the air flow. Then when it rains and blows, my sand colored lanai tiles and GROUT have dark silt remaining when dry. Previous method was to get the electric sweeper, attach long wand and brush head (not a brush roll) and suck up the silt. It didn't do well on the grout lines. Alternative was to use the steamer more frequently = pain. I wanted to simplify the cleaning. I looked at a lot of stick vacs but the DD22510 was the only one that had a powered brush roll, and high suction, ANNNNNDDDD let me take the unit as a hand held vac down 5 floors to my car thus avoiding dragging my huge sweeper along. Got the unit yesterday and tried it out on the silt I left accumulate for testing. Tried it today 7/15/19 and it works just outstandingly well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the support bracket is ill designed. When I put my powered carpet nozzle on and then attached the support bracket, and then moved the nozzle against the baseboard….the sticky tape surface on the back of the bracket is NOT parallel to the wall. I measured the angle and it's about 15 degrees off. Plus the well where the sweeper handle sets on the bracket is too shallow and the sweeper pops out too easily. Engineering needs to rethink. Otherwise I would readily recommend purchasing.Bally
I loved this vacuum. I used it all the time. It was perfect for my apartment. I used it to vacuum the vinyl flooring before mopping the floor. The problem is that the swivel on the sweeper head broke and there is no replacement parts. I was able to fix it using gorilla glue but that only lasted about 3 months. Now I have a dirt devil that is basically a handheld sweeper (aka dust buster type).Tonya H.

I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks and I don't have a single complaint yet. I really love how it was designed. It is very sturdy, yet light enough to easily maneuver around the house and over any type of floor surface. The vacuum head swivels effortlessly and intuitively. I especially love the headlight feature which really helps with picking up things in small crevices and under furniture. I have a large long-haired dog and this vacuum picks up the hair without any issues! The battery is very compact; the charger takes up no more space than my single-serve coffee maker as shown in the photo. Charging only takes a few hours and delivers ample runtime for me to vacuum all three floors of my house. The dust/waste bin is easy to empty and clean. Also, the extra two nozzle heads come with a holder than conveniently & cleverly snaps onto the neck of the vacuum handle, so you always have what you need to get the job done! Overall, I LOVE this product. It is the best of both worlds between a clunky traditional corded vacuum and the compact but underperforming handheld vacuum.tfunny
Had this vacuum for roughly 18 to 24 months, has worked pretty flawlessly up until I dealt with the dreaded brush head issue I read others similarly having, after a search of google and Craftsman and finding zero real solutions, I DID NOT spend $200 on a "throw away and buy new" appliance, that simply isn't the United States I grew up in. Anyway, after a week of the head turning on only to shut down after 2 or 3 seconds, I started my disassembly quest by removing the head assembly and looking at the bottom, where I found a red tab with arrows pointing up. I then held said tab with one finger while prying the brush head out with a flat head screwdriver. I clean the brush head. We then see a red gear at the end with a tiny screw holding it, take your tiny phillips head scredriver and remove screw. Gear will be reluctant but wiggle it on out with small pliers or maybe flat screwdriver. THAT was where my problem lied as 18 months of tiny carpet fibers had gotten in there to cause enough friction to stop brush head. Remove the foreign matter and (optionally) apply just a drop of 3 in 1 onto the metal surface. Reverse to reassemble and you may have just saved some aggravation dealing with a silly warranty process or quite possibly some money. SBD Craftsman should be paying me for all the ambassador work I do for them as a DIY nobody, I tell ya hwut. Only problem I'm presently having is the weak "standing" mechanism when the vac isn't being used, it can stand on its own for an hour or so before it wants to lean either way and inevitably falls to the side. It is closet kept where I lean it up against the wall so it's not as big of a deal to me. But can be aggravating between breaks. Would definitely reccomend!! Just don't buy from Lowe's, shopping Amazon or Ace comes with ALOT more dignity in supporting an actual hardware store, Thank you.Kazi9
I've been using this stick vac every day for over a week and that's about 6 times more than I used my traditional corded vacuum. The convenience of not being limited by the length of a cord and wall outlet availability makes it a game changer for me. The motor is strong and cleans as well as my 110v corded vac, but with less noise. The ability to disable the brush makes cleaning tile/wood floors a completely different experience. The 3 power settings are perfectly located to cycle between with your thumb so that you don't suck up a floor mat when transitioning from wood/tile to rug/mat. The ability to detach the motor from the stick and use the brush head in a stubby fashion makes cleaning carpeted stairs unbelievably easier than my traditional stick vac. I have used the shorty to clean the couches and used the adapters to clean under the cushions. With the stick attached to the broom head I can reach under furniture much farther than my old stick vacuum, the LED lights also help find all your kids toys that were lost before sucking them up. The vacuum is very low profile and almost lays down flat so you don't have to move furniture around to clean. Very nice and time saving! The broom head pans from side to side while using the vacuum and I found this to be annoying when trying to go fast. I discovered a way to lock the head and am able to maneuver the vacuum more aggressively without the head flopping around. Craftsman should address that in future revisions of the vacuum, I could see someone making a kit as an "upgrade" and selling those… The wheels on the broom head are nice, but I've found them to be a little lacking when it comes to maneuverability. If the wheels were replaced with ball casters then you would have infinite movement in your X and Y axis and could slide the vacuum in any direction to reach around obstructions. I hope this is something that Craftsman would consider for future releases. The battery life is short lived with the included 2 Ah battery, but enough for me to complete about 1,500 sqf. With an additional battery or (4 Ah) you can accomplish more work. I found myself trying to race the battery to get the cleaning done, which opened my eyes to the swiveling head and rigid wheels. Cleaning is easy. Pull the container, push a button (over a garbage can) and empty the contents. The twisty knob agitator cleans fine particles from the filter (much better than banging it on the garbage can or your other hand). I wish there was a vacuum float gauge you could monitor to quickly determine the health of your filter. I've seen welding helmets with clear tubes filled with small plastic balls and graduations on the tube that let you see air flow. This would make replacing the filter more accurate than just throwing it away and buying a new one every 6 months. I really enjoy using this vacuum and find myself looking for reasons to use it. Welcome to the age of the Jetsons. We may not have flying cars yet but you can be cool like Rosie the Robot and run a cordless vacuum! The Tool Man

I bought this vacuum in 2018 when my 1st little one arrived. It was great at picking up the crumbs. We used this daily for 2-5 minute intervals around the dinner table. After about 1.5 years the batter on it died. It's not replaceable either which means the unit is junk. I contacted B&D to do a warranty claim and they sent me a "new" replacement. Well guess what's happened again after about 1.5 years of the same use… Battery is dead AGAIN! I tried contacting B&D again and was asked multiple questions about the unit lastly being the inscribed manufactured date on the bottom of the unit. It was from 2018, meaning 1.5 years ago when the 1st vacuum died, they gave me an old, and probably refurbished unit. This date meant that I could no longer receive any type of warranty work, even though when I received the vacuum it sure wasn't in 2018… I will not be purchasing a replacement at this point and will go out of my way to no recommend this product to other.JoeBazooka
I give it 5 out of 5 over all for suction power and the ability to clean out the whole canister in the garbage with just the push of a button. You can actually clean the whole canister and filter with with soap and water let it air dry. The filter is reusable and cleans out very well. It’s unbelievable what things this vacuum actually picks up. I love LED head light lamps on the front of the vacuum you can really see the dirt and hair when the lights are on and off! The real bonus about this vacuum is the cordless feature no cords to worry about. Turn it on and go! The only negative thing that really disappoints me is the battery power only last 5 to 10 mins if your lucky this is super frustrating. I actually end up buying a new Black Decker battery for $77 off of Amazon.ca. This battery last anywhere from 20 to 30 mins longer the vacuum runs like a dream now. I got this model of Bed, Bath and Beyond website. I highly recommend not paying full price for it because what ever money left over you will need a new 20V Max Black Decker Lithium 3.0AH battery they sell on Amazon.ca. #visualeyecandy.r
I loved this vacuum. It was my birthday present and my husband and I drove down to the States to get one that was on sales there. It was easy for me to carry around and the hose helped me get into smaller place. So much better than your typical dust buster. Within a few years the battery became very weak and I only have about 20 seconds of power now. I called around and there is no battery replacement for it. There seems to be nothing else like it on the market. I'm so sad!! 🙁Spider

Keywords: Versatile, Long battery life, and Great Value for its features: Versatile: The vacuum is configured to be used as a traditional upright vacuum for floors, a handheld vacuum for smaller places/cars, and connected to various vacuum tips for multiple purposes like furniture, pets, and high-up places like ceiling fans. The reason I like this compared to most of the other stick-style cordless vacuums is that most of the weight is not distributed on the top and when you configure it as a handheld one, the tip and the big container (bottom motor, etc.) is separate. This makes vacuuming above floor much easier and more accurate. Long battery life: This vacuum has longer battery life than all my previous ones, on low, it's rated 60 mins and I usually use medium for my hardwood floor and it can be used around 40min which is super impressive. They also have a pretty display telling you the percentage of the battery life on top which is fairly useful. Great Value for its features: this is by no means a cheap vacuum but with the money you pay for, you get a lot of features. It has HEPA closed filter which is a big plus if you have people in the house with allergies or pets. It has dual rollers with different modes which makes its performance on par with top-tier vacuums, a guided rail for making an easy turn when you vacuum, and different parts that can be detached, washed, and maintained. Overall, if you don't care about super fancy color/design or big brandings like Dyson etc. and you just want a vacuum that gets the job done (so well) and is super versatile backed by great battery life that is going to last than break in a couple of years, this is the vacuum for you. This is a pretty new model that lacks good reviews so hopefully, this review is helpful and makes constructive advice on anyone who is looking for new vacuums!szcbossman
The Shark Cordless Lift-Away vacuum is a pretty unique concept and a great idea, that just isn't quite a home run…yet. Out of the box (like most Shark vacuums–I've owned several) it's very easy to unpack and 'snap together'. It took all of five minutes to get together, and that includes a minute or two to look over the diagrams to make sure I was doing it right. The battery has some charge to it, but Shark recommends charging it fully, and draining it fully on first use before charging it again to get the most out of the battery. I obviously have no idea what kind of life span to expect from the battery, but given it's size and unique-to-this-vacuum design I can't imagine it's cheap to replace. I haven't done any research on this yet, but hopefully Shark has plans for other devices that will use this same battery, otherwise you're looking at a 'lifetime' expense for an already expensive vacuum. Best Buy's 'geek squad' protection includes one battery replacement–probably worth researching the replacement cost and seeing which is cheaper (I'm betting 5-years of geek squad is cheaper than one battery–plus covering everything else for 5 years? Probably worth it!). The vacuum itself is pretty easy to use, though it's a little tricky to 'snap' the body back onto the stick portion of the vacuum. The "led" placement that shows battery life remaining and which power setting you're on could have been placed better–as it is it's awkward since it faces away from where you are holding it, and requires moving it in order to read it. Not sure why they didn't face the back direction–that would have made a lot more sense. The big plus to this vacuum is that it is fairly portable–it's fantastic on stairs, or anyplace that it's harder or awkward to bring a normal, heavy vacuum. The Shark is noticeably lighter than every upright I've ever had to carry, so that is a blessing. They obviously worked very hard to make this light-weight, and they did a great job. It's still a little awkward since the 'body' has to be carried–there just isn't a good way to do this without both hands. The vacuum has three settings. Shark says that the 'normal' (middle) strength is good enough for every day jobs. I have three kids and a black dog that sheds a lot, so I feel pretty sure Shark's idea of 'every day' and mine are a little different. It does do a decent job, but I found myself switching to the high power setting fairly often. This brings me to the biggest drawback of this vacuum. The battery life on the 'high' setting is abysmal. We got maybe 10 minutes out of a fully charged battery trying to clean our stairs–granted, it had been a while since we'd done them so they didn't look great, but 10 minutes wasn't long enough to complete even half of the job. I imagine if we do them on a more regular basis we won't have to use the high setting, but it's a real drawback that when we do it won't be for very long. The 'normal' setting can get a little over an hour, so that's a huge difference. Again, it does a decent job, but even switching for a few seconds to high seriously affects the overall time–that hour drops to 30 minutes after using the high setting for 2 minutes. The battery is already far and away the heaviest part of the vacuum, so until some portion of the technology improves that will just be 'how it is'. Overall it's a great concept that's executed fairly well–just keep your old vacuum around for the big jobs, or for when the battery runs out (it takes a few hours to charge back to full). I recommend it due to the light weight and great ease of use, just keep in mind that you'll either want another battery right out of the gate, or you'll have to vacuum in 'spurts' while waiting for the vacuum to charge.SgtRock
Having had multiple shark cordless vacuums in the past, this purchase was easy for me. Replacable batteries (which i can use my older p50 batteries in here), replaceable filters (also have spares from p50) and i even have chargers already. Lets get a bit more into the vacuum. I thought the p 50 had a lot of suction, but this one actually sutprised me. After going over my carpet with the older shark, u immediately followed up with this unit. Both were on high, but wow was i impressed by all the fine dirt this new motor pulled out. Maybe its the power fins , which ill warn you are a lot louder then the older duoclean heads, but they seem to work better and they dont wrap up with hair!! The versatility of this thing is so convenient, the only thing its missing is spots for its attachments. Also, im uncertain why anyone would want the small powered upholstery attachment, you can detach the wand and use it on the brush head directly and this makes stairs a breeze! I will be getting a second unit.JasonK

Here is what I love about it, personally I have been able to vacuum my whole house on 1 charge. I love not having to unplug, plug, unplug, plug. The second thing I like is that its not heavy. I will say it does collect alot of debris. It also has to really packed and the filter really dirty before acting up and then it will leave debris on the floor. I agree is does not vacuum as well, if the filter is dirty.
What I don't love is that it cuts out like it has a short in it when vacuuming, as if you have released the power button. I dont know if this an actual short or a flawed design but its very frustrating. I would give it more stars if it didn't cut out when vacuuming and that you didn't have to continually hold the power button down while vacuuming. It starts to hurt after a few minutes because I'm trying to make sure it doesn't cut out so I'm squeezing extra hard not even realizing I'm doing it. It does have great sections when clean, even on carpet it does great.Tonia B.

I am a hotel manager and professional housekeeper. This vacuum sucks at sucking. I've had it a year now. I keep it meticulously clean because if I dont it doesnt work. The brush wont spin when you pull back, the battery dies within 20 minutes of use on regular power no matter how long you've charged it, the filter is tiny and clogs almost immediately requiring you to rinse and wait the recommended 24 hours to dry before using again. The canister is small needing emptied frequently. These things combined make a five minute job at least 30 minutes worth of work. If I want to clean the house I have to start by cleaning the vacuum. Its design is flawed in the sense that the removable pieces and stem are hard to actually take off. I thought because it was a Hoover and it was more than I wanted to spend that I'd be impressed. I waited a year to review because I wanted to see if they would make good on their promise to handle the issues bit I still have not heard back from them. A year of one way correspondence and nothing. Inewspected their request to not return it to the store when I shouldnt have. Dont buy this model. Maybe another is better but I doubt I take the chance. I'm now looking a Shark or Dyson.Kate McKampson
I've had this for almost a year and am reasonably satisfied with it, though it has some issues. Pluses- vacuum and attachments are extremely versatile- great for vacuuming spiderwebs overhead with the crevice tool, as well as on the floor. On the floor, the head swivels a lot and readily fits into small and low spaces. I've had no issues with the battery- it seems to run the vac for a long time, and I plug it in after every use. Minuses- The long wand with floor head is difficult to remove from the vacuum motor housing. Also, the dirt cup doesn't latch easily to the vacuum- you have to slide it in place and give it a good smack with your hand- took me a while to figure this out. The little filter fills up very quickly and suction is lost. The motor is very loud. If vacuuming overhead, the motor is near your ear so I wear ear plugs to do this. Sure would be nice to have a light on the front of the floor head. Upshot- if you can live with the minuses, it works very well and can be used for just about any vacuuming task. No need to buy a separate handheld.Katy G

So I purchased this vacuum to vacuum my wooden floors and area rugs. I had only had it for a few weeks when the springs that hold the little clips in place started coming off. Now I have to tape the attachments so they can stay in place while I use the machine. I tried using it to vacuum my room but it doesn’t really have that type of power it mainly picks up superficial things on the carpet/rugs. There may be a manufacturer warranty for this but I haven’t had the time to look into it.Honey Bee
After installing wood floors in the entire house, I wanted something for quick touch-ups of spills and such without having to drag out the big vac. This little vac fit that need perfectly is a great value. Way fewer $$$ than most other stick-vacs. It has good power, even the low setting is actually usable. It's very easy to maneuver with a quick twist of the wrist and the LED headlights let you see under the counters and such. The soft wheels are quiet on the floor, and it doesn't need much room to store. However, I would not recommend this be your only vac as the head is not that wide. It would be a big ask of this vacuum to clean an entire living space. The only improvement I would suggest is a provision to route the charger cord through the provided wall hanger.Timothy L
ok, so, you're all here because this Stick Vac looks like the kind you pay $300 for at a fraction of the price. Cool. Does it get the job done? Mostly. It's easy to get a Cheerio or stray Animal Cracker bit stuck in the flap where the dust tank and attachment neck meet. This results in a bunch of little crumbs falling out when you tilt or turn the machine off as they're being held in place by gravity or suction. The overall suction strength is ok. Way better than a DustBuster at least and stronger than the sound it gives off would lend you to believe. It does have a lovely feature that doesn't require you to keep the trigger down to work, which really helps with fatigue. Though, you do need to be careful with the way you hook the trigger into the dust tank, since there's a catch at the bottom that keeps it grasped to the tank when moving about. The way things release are a little difficult, but it also keeps things nice and stable so it's a trade-off. It really shines with the included attachments. The pethair scrubber really gets into surfaces, the traditional roller-head is on a pivot-point so it can twist and turn around tight spaces, and the extension rod is of nice quality. And, of course, the fact that it's battery powered means you'll have an easier time reaching for it than your upright vacuum. The tank is fairly easy to access and very easy to disassemble for cleaning. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. It probably wouldn't replace a high end model if I already had it, but it's a good buy for little cleanups and routine car-care. A definite purchase if you have little kids!Alex
